>Fire>Air>Water>EarthPreviously, on Avatar Quest......After a day of intense training and sparring, both you and Felna were sufficiently exhausted. Though it was late at night, the two of you made your way up the creek towards the camp, only to be met by Galda in the creek bed. After a tense discussion, Galda struck you, knocking you to the ground. She then proceeded to take our her remaining dagger and hold it to your throat. You attempted to talk your way out of the situation, but instead wound up with your throat slit. You vaguely remember bending elements other than Earth, and healing your wound before passing out. The day, you awoke to the adults and Felna discussing what happened. Your father refused to believe the story, but Ren asked to speak with you in private, where he told you that he believed what Felna had said, and explained why Galda despises benders. After some pleading from Ren, you agreed to show mercy to Galda. When Ren then hinted at your ability to bend other elements, you dismissed the notion as ridiculous. You then spoke with your parents, and found that your father still refused to believe the story, even after hearing it from you. This caused an argument between your father and mother that ended when your father stormed off. Your mother told you that she believed you, and, like Ren, discussed the possibility of you bending more than one element, mentioning the Avatar. You told her that sounded ridiculous, and she admitted that you were probably right, as there hadn't been an Avatar in thirty-two years. After your mother went back to camp, you tried unsuccessfully to find Felna before passing out. And, after having some rather odd dreams, you awoke to find her speaking with your brothers and Lee. You asked to speak with her in private, where you confided in her your wish to see if you could bend fire. She agreed to teach you, and the two of you went to the beach, where you spent the day training, and successfully firebending.
>Welcome to Avatar Quest. Here are the rules.Decisions are made by vote. Each vote has a ten minute interval, after which, the option that receives the most votes it the one that is chosen. There are no write-ins unless explicitly statedSome options require rolls. In that event, rolls will be out of 100. Whether rolls succeed or fail is decided by the first three rolls. If one passes, then you succeed regardless of the other two. Rolls will really only occur during training, or when trying something new.All decisions are final. If you regret voting for something, too bad. >>33369998The very act of doing that action itself shows her we're a better person. And kill us why? It's not like we're directly provoking her when she has a knife to our throat or anything.
>>33370000Go fuck yourself.Take 10 minutes and read it.
>>33370055It's just going to come back to bite us later, especially if she decides "Man that bender must be speaking shit, better stab him twice this time"
>>33369993Anon just just please stop. I understand what you want to do but that was a really bad way of handling it . Especially if you really did samefag0/10
>>33369870>>33369871>>33369872>>33369886>>33369944"I can't say," you tell him.He raises an eyebrow. "Shin, if something serious is going on, you can't keep it to yourself. I'm your big brother, and you know I'm here for you when you need my help. Keeping secrets won't do anybody any good."(To be continued)>That is it for tonight, did everyone have fun>Thread will be on suptg shortly, if you liked it, give it an upvote>Follow me on twitter @starwarsfands for updates and schedule changes>Next update will likely be either on Sunday. Keep an eye on twitter for details.I'll stick around for a little while to answer questions
>>33370089I will continue to vote as my current demeanor advises then since you're to lazy to bring evidence for me to support your position instead.Stay kind.
>>33370094You're saying this as if we handled it at all.We just turned it a little and walked away and hoped it would handle itself.
>>33370073Bitch is crazy, anon. She hates everything we do. She'd find some way to be offended. It's not like we're provoking her, correct. But it IS like we're assuming a vulnerable position and giving her easy access to our neck.
>>33370105What would have happened if you had written out >>33369591's post instead?
>>33370105Luv ya SonI hope the samefagging diminishes by next thread.
>>33370105You ready to get yelled at by specific people?
>>33370121She also knows that we are suddenly a super bender avatar thing that survived a stab to the neck. Not to mention, if she was going to kill us she would have done it before talking.
>>33370105Fun thread, despite the minor shitstorm. Have a good weekend Som, I'll see you tomorrow. Also where the hell did all the new anons come from lol
http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html>Thread is archived, if you liked it, give it an upvote>>33370131Had that been allowed to happen, she would have had an even lower amount of respect for you, and probably thought you were mocking her>>33370136Me too>>33370139Of course!>>33370161Not sure, but I'm glad people are enjoying themselves>Any more questions?
>>33370109I was against the chosen dialogue and walking away but seeing how there was a large majority supported that there wasn't much that could be done. That's how quests work for better or worst. The only thing you can do is accept it as something that happened and try to improve the situation. Even if it wasn't favorable or made something worse.
>>33370146Before talking. While we're alert and can easily defend ourselves. Not while prostrate on the ground, offering fleshy bits for the stabbing.Opportunity does like to trump initial intent.>>33370179Oh hey, looks like I was right all along.
>>33370179How much respect for us does she have then?
>>33370179what would have happened if we went with the option I posted?
>>33370198Ask her yourself>>33370196Yup>Any more questions?
>>33370179I'm still avan fun boss wens da next WAAAGGH?!
>>33370219reading comprehension anon he's already said when
>>33370211Anger, so much anger
>>33370214How did we handle the conversation with Falda about Earth Queen and her classism?
>>33370237I like how the exact words are "either on Sunday."Sunday or WHEN?!
>>33370190This Also well you can samefag to prevent that but that's shamfur dispray
>>33370242Told you so dumb shit
>>33370242temporary or permanent? or is that spoilers?
>>33370248Alright, she's glad to know that you agree with her.
>>33370237Yeah I know I just keep forgetting to make a twatter and end up coming halfway into the thread
>>33370278Is galda ever not going to be a bitch?
>>33370276Told me what?
>>33370327He probably meant to quote the other guy instead
>>33370327dammit not you, the nameshit
>>33370327he's referring to me I think, though he's honestly missing my point.
>>33370324right before she dies
>>33370324No because that's up to us and apparently the majority of this quest doesn't know how to handle her when Som and Fel told us what to do.
>>33370324That depends on you guys
>>33370376>depends on usSo no?Is she willing to try and kill us again?
>>33370385Again, depends on you guys
>>33370393So yes?How would the rest of the group react to her stabbing us?
>>33370393So probably if people continue to samefag bad ideas. So more than likely.
>>33370349No point has been missed. It was a simple "I told you so."As in, you were told your write-in was bad, and why it was bad. And the reason was correct.
>>33370385>>33370417>So no?>So yes?Are you retarded? It depends on if we make stupid ass decisions.
>>33370442Have a little faith
>>33370445Actually you missed the larger Idea I.E Progress towards character development & relationships negative or otherwise.you seem to keep assuming I was after a positive reaction, when what I was after was a reaction regardless of positivity.
>>33370481Man, why do you want a negative reaction from a psycho who tried to murder us?
>>33370481Would have been just as effective to whip out your dick and start pissing flame at her.
>>33370481>Progress towards character developmentYou mean progress towards getting shanked in the throat again? If you're just looking for a reaction you should be fine with any direction the quest takes.
>>33370513Speaking of which, could we do this? Not at her in particular, but it could be a funny gag.
>>33370558I'm gonna say no
>>33370505because character development & honestly I've seen way too many quests die because people were worried about negative consequences.>>33370515why do you keep assuming that her anger would be so dangerous when the last two times we've provoked her were specifically meant agitating instead of a misguided attempt at sympathising with her. I'm fine with the way things are heading regardless of the fact my choice wasn't taken.
>>33370614>muh character developmentStop thinking it can only be a good thing.
>>33370614>why do you keep assuming that her anger would be so dangerousI don't. It just wouldn't have served any purpose. Oh boy now she's angry at us and her father, good thing we gained her apol... or her resp...
It's funny the only time when we handled a situation with Galda is when we told her to bait harder
>>33370614You do realize this is a SOMINUS quest? He's not afraid to kill the player off if they are making decisions with negative consequences. "Character development" is an insufficient reason to risk her ire. Shin gains literally nothing by pissing her off.
>>33370674>Muh xxxWhat an articulate rebuttal. truly top tier posting right here.>>33370680fair point>>33370725I was willing to hedge my bet on the fact we were being Sympathetic & instead of provocative, regardless fair point.
>>33371173How can you be sympathetic instead of provocative when sympathy would provoke her?Think, man.
>>33371232because we are not trying to be accidental provocation is not the same as intently provoking someone, I was willing to bet that any anger she had would be downscaled because we were trying to sympathise and that any anger would have been short-lived.anyway the option wasn't taken so what does it matter?
>>33371263It's relevant for future decisions involving Galda since they will come up.
>>33371263For the same reason attempted suicide is still troubling. Also, when people are pissed off, they don't tend to think of the intentions of the person who set them off. They just care that they're pissed off.And when it's someone who hates us for no good reason and expects us to want to torture her just because she can't move rocks with her mind, well...
>>33371384>>33371441Anons all we gotta do is stop being baited into fights with her, stop expecting her to change with a couple of words, try to have a mature conversation with her, and we're golden
>>33371701I'm not for fighting her. That won't solve anything.I'm not for talking to her. She won't listen.I'm for letting her see with her own eyes that people aren't as fucked as she thinks. She has to help herself. She's the only one who can.
>>33371749That's what I'm kinda saying as well currently people are trying to fit a large triangle into a small square shit ain't going to happen. Especially because people get butt flustered every time she appears
