Unrelated to the current post, but posting a possible "To-do list" I thought of for stuff we could accomplish while we are at home.

1. Buy a brand new bow for Chara. Have Despina train Chara in rigorous archer, stamina, and stealth discipline using Despina's old bow. Gift Chara the new bow for all her hardwork, as well as ask her to “allow us to show her other ways we can reward her” [smut] (the least she can do for the new bow).

2. Go around and work with the townsfolk to get a feel of life around here, a day in the mines, a day in the farms, or see what can be improved, (or if they are slacking off). 3. Train Juniper to be an effective watchdog and spy. How to fly faster, stealthier ( a game of 'hide and seek' where if all of us can't find her for a day she get's a 'reward'), and dodge attacks.

4. Build an expanded “Servant's Quarters”, with more rooms for extra “servants and retainers” (future recruits) or their progeny. Go back and get all of Despina and Chara's forest stash to furnish it with.

7. Train a militia. Archery training and swordsmanship for all men of age.

Subproject: Find a guy we can trust to guard our home while we are away.

Actually, as for the subproject of getting maid uniforms for Kini, Despina, and Chara, we should keep in mind that the servants reflect on the master; while we shouldn't go extravagant, functional yet well-tailored maid uniforms will reflect well on us.
Both because we're attentive to detail, and because we are wealthy enough to be able to afford such things.

I think we should consider getting that troll girl from before. Yeah, we were a real asshole to her when she was down on her luck (and her river's level was the lowest in years), but a troll's strength may prove useful in projects that require manual labor.
At the very least, as a guard/toll keeper working in conjunction with Juniper.

I've been thinking - was Kini's theft of the sword entirely a crime of opportunity, or was she hired to do it by whatever force had our brother shot? Just occurred to me, isn't the most obvious motive for killing the guy that he was about to marry Adelle? If someone else wasn't eying her, they could've hired the assassin and given him/her a description of only our brother, not realizing 1.) that we'd be coming along for the ride and 2.) that we'd immediately seal the marriage contract.

If we decide to go further in this matter, we should also ask Adelle what other suitors were knocking on her door before she was lucky enough to get us.
