LAST EPISODE: You continued your tour of the building and experimented with the principles of thermodynamics.

The small golden fox with multiple tails is lying on the ground, bleeding from a mangled paw.

The large man in the suit with the blue tie has Sato and Star held by the shoulders in a firm grip.

The large man in the suit with the red tie, that has half of his little finger chopped off has Akira also in a firm grip by one hand. The other hand is being used you lift you up off the ground by the collar of your jumpsuit.

"You broke my gun." He growls.

You've been in worse situations, honestly...but this one isn't pleasant by any stretch of the imagination.

"I am SO incredibly sorry about that." You say. "How can I make this right?"

"500,000 yen." The Oni says. "That will be sufficient for a replacement, and an apology."

Star makes a small sound in the back of her throat. She's the one who's been handling the finances, and it sounds like that's not a friendly number.

Inquire as to whether the gun had.sentimental value or was custom and magically made.

>>33320935
Eh, if we do this, be sure to provide the apology, and make a binding agreement that we will meet with him and provide restitution for damages.caused.

You nod in agreement. "That's perfectly acceptable. Would you be willing to discuss this later in our office? It's company policy to make sure all the paperwork is filled out properly, and it'd only be fair to treat you with the same equality we do our other clients."

The red tie looks at blue tie. The blue tie nods.

The oni releases you and you drop to the floor.

"Tomorrow. 500,000. No excuses." The oni says.

"Do you take checks?" Star asks. "Because, we have the money, but getting it into liquid assets will require slightly more time."

The red oni looks at the blue oni.

The blue oni nods. "Cashier check or direct transfer money orders."

Star nods. "That's do able. Also, we may have to pay part of it in other assets, such as gold."

Both men's eyebrows go up and they smile toothy jagged smiles.

"That is acceptable." The red oni says.

You pull yourself up and point at the kitsune on the ground. "May I please go treat her?" You ask.

The men shrug. They don't care.

You go over to the fox. Damn, trauma, shock, blood loss, torn flesh, broken bones. This isn't good. This is outside your knowledge as an Undecided/Medical Drop-Out Student.

She's still alive, though. Barely, and not for long if you do nothing.

We're a ghostbuster. But we're not cruel. We've learned if we can save something, and try to convince it that what it's doing is a bad idea, we'll try. We're suckers for the outsiders, the rejects. Ask her if she wants us to save her life.

If she can respond, make her swear herself to us. She might have rejected the Gods, but she can still be bound by them.

If she's unconscious or something, do it anyway, but keep an eye out on her.

Okay, she's out cold and in fox form. This makes some things easy, and some things less so.

First things first, do you want to give her some painkillers? (Less than you would give her if you were trying to ease her pain, so Akira still has some for himself.)

It could possibly help her through the trauma of the surgery and ease her shock, you think.

Or it could make things that much worse as her body reacts poorly to them.

I'm trying to look it up exactly, but I'm believe there is a significant difference between over the counter painkillers and the anesthetics they use for surgical operations.

If she is in shock, the effect it has on her heartrate and bloodpressure could be devastating.

No painkillers. Way way too many things that can go horribly wrong.

You get the medical supplies out to make a tourniquet, this you know how to do and there's the right stuff in here.

You tie off the leg and the blood flow does slow and stop, thankfully.

Her breathing is very shallow.

Okay, now you have to cut off the damaged part. This is going to be a bitch.

"Sato, Star, get ready to hold her down while I do this." You say.

You get the disinfectant spray and a match to sterilize the tool you're going to use.

> There's a dinky little scalpel in the medical kit. It's the most accurate tool, but this thing wasn't meant for heavy-duty amputation.
> You have a regular survival knife. It's got the heft and power to do this job in one or two chops. Of course, that's probably not the ideal method.
> Screw using knives, you can use the proton pack, altering a few dials and you can use it to burn off the wound, and cauterize it as well. This is probably not a good idea in general...however, it could be worth the risk.

While we try to save the kitsune's life, have the others look for the freight elevator to see if we can make it safe to bring the Yomi-1 up. It would be useful in the upcoming fight because of the super-slammer. Also, it may be useful as a makeshift ambulance so that our patient can get some proper medication and tell us more about what is going on.

I would've liked Yurei to have flown down there to drive it up here like Slimer drove one of the ghostbusters via bus in the movie, unfortunately Yurei is still suffering from the effects of anti PKE outside the chyme and we're giong to have to deal with it back at the base.

Will the dice gods look on in favor? If she dies it just means she won't come after us to exact revenge.
>>
>>33322345
Can we try both knives?

The scalpel for the flesh and the combat knife for the bone?
>>
>>33322345
Even supposing could dial the Neutrino it to the right frequency, her paranormal and PKE infused body could interfere with it.

>>33322505
Slime can be fickle, and can be both harmful and helpful depending on the person or ghost or what have you.

However, it DOES respond to music and emotional feels.

If we're no longer worried about hiding, we can play some kind of appropriate music that would likely keep her staying alive.

>>33322580
I'm trying to recall something where if you manage to ensare and trap a Kitsune, they can't escape unless you let them. If she lives not letting her go until we're sure she'll never lift a finger against us.

>>33322630
I'm in favor of this
>>
This is a problem. All of them have perks and flaws. We may HAVE to use all three to do it properly. The scalpel to cut the flesh, the survival knife to cut the bone, and I don't think we are going to get around using the proton pack for the cauterization.
>>
>>33322470
>>33322505

You grab the large survival knife and prep it. You also get the scalpel ready as well, just in case. But you're going to start with the larger knife.

Now, where to cut?

> Cut at the end of the mangled flesh, it'll take a bit of fineness, and you'll have to saw through the bone, but you'll save the majority of her arm.
> Cut at the elbow joint. It's quick, you don't have to saw through any bone, and it's quick. However, she'll lose most of her arm.
> Other
>>
http://www.brainstuffshow.com/blog/how-to-cut-off-your-own-arm-in-an-emergency/

We should break the bone first using leverage, and then do the cutting part with the scapel.

http://motherboard.vice.com/blog/how-and-when-to-cauterize-a-wound

Next light a fire in a metal bin or something nearby, or use our proton pack, to heat up the hunting knife very hot, and then quickly apply it to the wound to cauterize it. This removes the risk of the Proton stream thing being fucked up by her paranormal body.
>>
>>33322873

Cut a few inches below the mangled flesh. This will allow us to make a skin envelope for the stump.
>>
>>33322877
Well, at least you did some research.

>>33322873
Try to break off the bone a few inches behind the mangled flesh using leverage, like a table corner or something sturdy. Use the scalpel to cut off the mangled arm, and then heat up the hunting knife with fire or the proton pack to cauterize the wound.

>>
>>33322877
If you want to go that way, you're gonna have to roll to see if Diasuke knows this stuff.

And before you ask, there's too much PKE interference to use your phones for web browsing, and Sana and the others are busy making sure that there aren't any follow up attacks on the Containment Unit, so they're not available to look up the information. Your phone connection is spotty at best, as well.

This is pretty basic trauma surgery, so I'll give you a decent chance.

You know how to do this. You KNOW how to do this!

But it isn't gonna be pretty.

"Use your proton pack to heat this." You say as you hand Star the knife as you take off yours.

You prop the limb up, using your pack to give you some leverage. Then with a sharp CRACK you break the bone and then swiftly slice off the excess flesh and tendons with the scalpel.

The little fox winces and whimpers as you further traumatize her body. Her breathing speeds up, and...

Alright guys, at the end of the quest, we're totally deciding to go to America to /finish/ our medical career and become Dr. Daisuke, like we were meant to.
>>

Then regulates and goes back to strained again.

You take the heated knife and press down on the wound. There's a hissing sound and then you pull it away, with a few specks of burnt flesh on the blade.

Star and Sato let go of the fox, and suddenly there's a kitsune laying on the ground, looking at the burnt stump that was her wrist and hand.

"Don't move." You say, as you bandage it up.

She narrows her eyes at you and sneers. "Stupid choice, mortal."

"We saved your life." Star says.

"Fuck you. I owe you nothing, I will tell you nothing. I will see you, and your families, dead and rotting." She says. She turns her head to look at the Oni. "Take me home."

"This would fulfill our debt." Blue Tie says.

"Fine. I've had enough of this place, and these fools." She spits in your face. "I'll see you in Hell, Ghostbuster."

"Can she be moved?" The Oni asks you.

You slowly wipe your face clean. "Yes." You say. "Though she should probably get some serious medical treatment."

The Oni nods as he picks up the Kitsune in his large arms. "We will be at your place tomorrow to collect on our debt. Also, thank you for aiding her. If she died, we would be remiss in our own debts. It does not change our own bargain, but it shows your character, and we appreciate character."

The Oni turn to leave.

The Kitsune shoots you all one of the nastiest grins you've ever seen in your life. "Bye bye, Ghostbusters. Give Mistuko my regards! I hope she kills you all."

>>
>>33323838
Good point. Skip the trash talk and let's get cracking.
>>
>>33323838
Good point. How about we genuinely ask if there's something we can do to verify that she didn't talk because we didn't go through all that trouble to see her killed by her.own superiors.
>>
>>33323933
If it's phrased properly, perhaps as a doctor advising a recalcitrant patient, it might work.
"Look, before you leave in a huff, are you sure that you'll be safe at home? Putting aside that you still need medical treatment, I don't think your boss is the type to forgive failure, right?"
If Akira, the kitsune, or the oni ask why we're showing so much concern to a person who tried to kill us and threatened us already:
"I'm a doctor; or at least, I was in training to be one. I treated you, you're my patient."

Of course, the whole 'Do no harm' thing conflicts with the 'JUSTICE, no matter the cost' thing Daisuke has going.
>>
>>33323881
>>33323838
We don't have to trash talk her, but there are some questions we'd at least like to acknowledge, and in the least there are things we can say that won't diminish our character.

"Excuse us, Sirs, but we are curious about Inari, It appeared to have not been told about the kami's condition as well. Now that her condition is stable, you or we may or may not be entitled to ask."

Also

>genuinely ask if there's something we can do to verify that she didn't talk because we didn't go through all that trouble to see her killed by her.own superiors.

And lastly, maybe something along the lines of

"As the gods our witness today, we saved the life of one who tried to slay us and means to slay us. Let them deal with what is just."

After this, we should give the Oni a respectful bow before we part ways.
>>
I like these Oni. Such refined businessmen.

I suppose that's reasonable enough, so I'll support it.
>>
>>33324090
Do it
>>
>>33324090
The last one, I'm not too sure about.
Generally, you're supposed to doing something to catch the kamis' attention. And make sure that you've got an offering, sort of like a non-refundable fee just to talk with an attorney, regardless of whether they'll take your case or not.

I think we can leave the last one out; the oni will provide a report to their oyabun, as well as among their gumi, and that kind of information travels fast enough.
Intentionally bringing attention to something like that is considered impolite in Japanese culture.
>>
>>33324090
Eh, seems too melodramatic, and there are better ways of figuring out what's with Inari.

I'd prefer we just get on with things.
>>
>>33324248
Ah, very well then.
>>
>>33324248
Good point, let's skip the latter part.

Maybe just ask if we can have a cryptic riddle about what became of Inari?
>>
>>33324326
>there are better ways of figuring out what's with Inari.
I dunno. I mean, our local miko hasn't heard from the Association of Shinto Shrines that there's a problem with the kami, nor has the P-COC.
>>
>>33323838
Really good point. We do not want that whole escapade to be a shaggy dog story. Diasuke has his morals. He is not one to just send somebody to their deaths. The university thing was not sending others to their deaths by train delays, that was revealing a secret that never should have been kept.
>>
>>33324397
>Maybe just ask if we can have a cryptic riddle about what became of Inari?
Fuck that, riddles suck ass. Might as well not ask.
>>
>>33324410
In fact, the only reason Daisuke allowed those deaths to happen was because he sticking to his morales and not shirking off what was necessary.

Because right and wrong isn't a matter of calculating the value of life. Something isn't right or wrong just because one action kills less or more people than another.

It doesn't matter whether his actions would've led to 1, or two, or ten, or a hundred, or a thousand, or even a million dead.

We would have done it all the same, because it is the right thing to do.
>>
>>33324490
We should really stop killing living beings who want to surrender, then.
>>
>>33324513
That was most unfortunate.

Ironically, we ended up killing the ones who wanted to surrender and saved the life of the ones who still are trying to kill us.
>>
Does anybody know what we are going to do to get the YOMI up the elevator without being attacked? And who is going to go down the elevator to drive it?
>>
>>33323598
>Turn your back on them and go to the stairs, or see if the freight elevator can handle YOMI.
What floor are we on?
>>
>>33324549
Well, since we've secured the 30th floor, we could crack open the elevator and slime the motors lightly to make sure they aren't touched.

As for who goes down, maybe us and Sato, while Star and Akira stay up here and hunker down.

Man, I really want the Yomi up too and we are this close.
>>
>>33324549
We could try to coat the elevator car and shaft in posi-slime, though that'll only work against ghosts, and direct interference by youkai. They could still try to do things like use tools and weapons to cut the cables.

Sato and us to go get YOMI, and Akira and Star to keep watch on the elevator shaft.
>>
>>33324513
>>33324541
We were gonna probably accept that spider-girls surrender but Akira got jumpy.

Also I think we've got some thinking to do after this.
>>
>>33324513
>>33324541
If you are talking about the spider lady, we were giving the one who was seeming to surrender a change when AKIRA killed it. With the Kappa and Weasels, I think we were just to rage-filled at our sister's kidnapping.
>>
>>33323598
Alright, so we seem to have a consensus that we will:
1. Politely ask the Oni to stop from leaving with the kitsune.
2. Ask about Inari, and ask the kitsune to reconsider just going straight home.
"Wait! What was that about Inari being gone? Sirs, you appeared to have not been told about the kami's condition as well. Now that her condition is stable, perhaps we should ask her to clarify her earlier statement?"
"Look, before you leave in a huff, are you sure that you'll be safe at home? Putting aside that you still need medical treatment, I don't think your boss is the type to forgive failure, right?"
"I'm a doctor; or at least, I was in training to be one. I treated you, you're my patient."

Then we check out the freight elevator.
>>
>>33324649
Works for me.
>>
>>33324649
No, I'd rather not do that at all.

The Oni will speak on her behalf, and if she tells us -anything- she really could get in trouble with her boss.

Let's just let them go and move forward.
>>
>>33324624
>With the Kappa and Weasels, I think we were just to rage-filled at our sister's kidnapping.
Not exactly.
With the Kappa and Weasels, we just killed them during the course of the fight.
Pure self-defense. They made no shows or attempts to surrender.

The spider, I'll grant that Akira is the one acting like an Imperial Japanese Army grunt during the occupation of China, not Daisuke.
There's probably some ethical guidelines in the Manual concerning living supernatural entities, and whether we accept surrenders or not.
>>
>>33324694
>if she tells us -anything- she really could get in trouble with her boss.
Alright, I can see that.
So simply ask the Oni about it tomorrow when they come to pick up their check?

As for warning the kitsune about going straight home possibly to be made an example of, though, I think it's still something that should be said.

I'll concede on the question about Inari, but I'll stand firm with Daisuke trying to be a good doctor.
>>
If and when we do address Akira, let's leave out the ethical bits entirely and focus on the practical aspects of maintaining trigger discipline. Last time we were lucky the spider was a non-vital without any important information, but next time we may not be so lucky so we cannot risk the improper destruction of potential vital assets.
>>
>>33324649
We could just pump the Oni for information tomorrow, when they are no longer bound.
>>
>>33324756
Technically she said 'home' she might not live with her boss.

Also it could be considered disrespectful to impugn the reputation of her superiors while for all they know, they really might watch out for each other.
>>
>>33324649
That works for me.
>>33324695
The Weasles were during the course of the fight, but I personally think it was a heat of the moment thing, seeing as it was the one trying to convince us to enter the apartment.
>>
I remember that there was somebody saying that we could blow a hole in the roof so that we could make use of the YOMI. Would Boson Darts or proton stream work better at making a hole in the roof without bringing it down in top of us?
>>
Consensus appears to be shifting to:
Don't bring up Inari, ask the Oni about it tomorrow.

Still undecided about whether to warn the kitsune to be careful.
>>
>>33324649
Drop the Inari part. And don't make assumptions about her boss.
>>
>>33324918
Eh, maybe just give her general advice to stay out of danger until she recovers fully?
>>
>>33324792
Yeah, Akira is our best soldier and we shouldn't taper down his purpose that has saved our asses far too many times. At the same time, we need to keep him in line without explicitly insulting his character.
>>
>>33324918
Don't bring up Inari, and we've already told her to be careful.

There's not really much else we can do with her.

Akira makes a grunt. "She shot me, we chopped off her hand. I'm good...although I think I could use another pill."

Star hands him some more painkillers. "I'm impressed that you've been so good about this."

"Pain helps me focus." He adjusts his shoulder. "Daisuke did a good job, I'm not leaking or anything."

"Thanks." You say.

"Well, the good news is that we can fit YOMI in here, and the elevator is working." Sato says. "No idea if it can handle taking an entire van up or not, but we've done crazier things."

"What's the bad news?" Akira asks.

"The only access to the roof are the regular elevators and some stairs, none of them can even REMOTELY fit YOMI." Sato says, pointing at a stairwell. "Sorry."

Akira looks up at the roof. "Could we just...make a hole?"

Sato shrugs. "I don't know. Remember, there's a whole rooftop garden above us. That means a couple feet of dirt at least, not to mention all the masonry and metal of the roof proper."

"We've blown up bigger things." Star says.

"Yeah, but they weren't the most solid of items. It's one thing to torch a truck, these packs weren't designed to bore through ten to twelve feet of dirt, rock, masonry, and metal." Sato says.

"I'm sure P-COC's reciprocal insurance is thankful for that." Star says.

"Could there be weak spots?" Akira asks.

Sato shrugs. "Maybe, but the longer we spend docking around, the longer Mitsuko has to prepare, and if there are any leftover yokai that we missed, they could come back up and attack us."

"But we'd have access to YOMI." Akira says. "We'll get a hole in the roof when we get up there and we'll have the super slammer."

"Yeah, in ONE spot on the roof." Sato says.

"With the slammer, one spot's all we need." Akira says.

"True, but I say we just go up there and take her on. Once Mitsuko's down, they'll scatter."

"What if we brought YOMI up...and then brought the roof DOWN to us?" Star asks. "Just blow it from down here?"

"You want to cause enough structural damage to collapse an entire floor...while BENEATH it?" Sato says. "Congratulations, Akira. You no longer have the worst plan of the day."

"I know, but who KNOWS what Mitsuko has for us, up there?" Star says. "This way we force her to change on the fly, and ghosts don't improvise well."

"She's got a point." Akira says.

You smile and point to Star. Star grins and claps her hands excitedly.

"And the day came, when Akira was NOT the one who came up with the most destructive, violent, and probably idiotic plan." Sato says. "As the ancients say "Even the kindest of caterpillars can eat a hole in a wooden table...or something like that."

"Give me a break. I got shot, I've lost blood, and I'm on pain meds." Akira says. "I'm not at my best."

You check Akira over before you head down with Sato. It's...well it isn't bleeding or putting out puss or anything like that. So you take that as a good sign. You refresh his bandages and he nods that he's okay to keep working.

You and Sato get on the elevator.

"Becareful with my baby." Akira says to you two. "If it falls down this hole, I'm dropping you two down next."

"Yeah, yeah." You say.

Sato presses the button and the doors close.

It's a freight elevator, so it doesn't stop on many floors. Just once in each section by the maintenance centers.

The elevator reaches the bottom floor without incident.

Sato and you walk out onto the plaza, YOMI is still there.

Two of the weasel bodies aren't though. One is.

"They must have been only stunned." Sato says. "Or something else ate them, or they dissolved."

"Get ready for an ambush." You say.

You both wait, and there's nothing.

"Maybe most of them got the hint and took off. Didn't want to end up like the others." Sato says. "If what you're saying about Sana and the others defending the base..." He shrugs. "I dunno."

"Well, despite what Akira says," you say. "I don't think all Yokai are like these assholes."

"Yeah, Akira went WAY aggro on that spider, didn't he?" He sighs. "Anyway, let's see if we can't get YOMI into the elevator."

He opens the door to the van.

You and Sato spend a little time pumping YOMI's tires full with posi-slime, and patching it closed with chemical sealant as best you can.

"Well, I suppose it'll keep it rolling long enough for this, and to get it back home when this is done." He nods. "Good idea, man."

"Hey!" Star says to you two as you carefully drive YOMI into the hall where you dealt with the kitsune and Oni. "You got it up here! Awesome."

"Why are my tires throbbing?" Akira asks. "Did...did you slime my tires?!"

"More like your tires ARE slime at this point." Akira says. "They had been damaged and needs must. Any luck on our breach point?"

Akira nods and points up. "As far as we can tell from the PKE and what little intel we could get from the maintenance schematics that were posted on the janitor's closet walls, the koi pond is right above us."

"It's the best place, we just have to punch through the roof, and the bottom of the lake has been rusting in filthy rainwater already. Everywhere else we're fighting through heavier supports and dirt."

"Plus smashing the koi pond won't cause the entire building to fall in on itself, there's no support pillars, as you can see." Akira says, gesturing to the empty room.

"But, isn't the ghosts' whole deal is that she can control water?" Sato asks.

"And NOW you see the one flaw." Akira says.

Why didn't I think of this before. Most buildings are designed in that the event of a collapse a chain reaction WONT happen because one section falls down like a house of cards. That sort of thing was implemented decades ago.

We could drain it with another hole in the floor. As for evaporating it, we could easily heat it up either directly with the proton stream or indirectly by heating up a piece of metal next to it.

"Can we use the slime tethers as support?" You ask.

"They're not really designed for that." Star says. "But...but that gives me an idea, and it'll work now that we have YOMI."

"What?"

"Well, I thought that we'd have to blast our way into the pool and make a hole, NOW we can use the slime tethers and hook the roof to YOMI's bumper, and then just pull." She nods. "We'll bring the whole pool down in one swift go!"

"And this is better...how?" Akira asks.

"Well, it'll be bigger!" Star says.

"Works for me!" Sato says.

"Alright, let me get the cannon and the super slammer up and running though." Akira jumps into the car and you hear the charging noise.

"Is the proton cannon working?" You ask.

"Kinda. If someone's manually aiming and firing it, yeah it works fine. If you're using the remote...it's still fussy." Akira says.

"So it's like everything else we have." You say.

Star is carefully attaching slime tethers to the bumper of YOMI.

Sato is getting out of the way and priming his pack.

You do the same.

"So...what's the plan...exactly?" Akira asks.

"We rip open the koi pool and it falls down here, hopefully denying Mitsuko of any water and then when she comes over here to see what the hell just happened...we fry her." Star says.

"That's...not bad." Akira says.

"One of our better thought out ones, for doing this all on the fly." Sato says.

Star blushes. "Thank you! Okay Akira...HIT IT!"

We just need to be careful here. There are plenty of Yokai in the building that we'd rather not piss off and leveling a floor of the building certainly may do that.

"So, I was filled with an unquenchable bloodlust in Italy, and the fascists were in power." Kali says. "Thankfully I ended up helping the local resistance, who actually became one of the major mafia families. So you're talking to one of the original 'Dragon Lady's of pulp fiction fame."

"I'd like to go to Venice." Kaede says. "After France."

"It's beautiful, you'd love it." Kali says. "Heck, let me go with you, I'll show you the best places."

Your sister nods. "I'd have to learn Italian first."

Sachiko shakes her head. "You know English, French, you're working on Korean AND Mandarin, and you want to learn Italian on top of that?"

"Well, I've always been good with languages. I like learning them, it's fun." Kaede shrugs. "Daisuke says it's weird how easy it is for me."

"Meh." Kali says. "Some people have a knack for languages. You do. Your brother's just jealous."

Kaede looks at the cup in her hand. Trying not to think about how Kali and Sachiko came back covered in blood, burnt clothes, and bruises. "Do you...do you really think I could work here?"

"Sure." Sachiko says. "Miyagi's is in need of a good waitress, and if you can pick up Korean, you'd be a heaven-sent asset to a lot of people here. Knowing English alone makes you amazingly valuable."

"Not to mention all the work that'll be needed at the new place that your brother is clearing out." Kali says. "Kid like you could go really far."

"But...I'd have to leave Mother and Father alone, and they need me..." Kaede sighs and shakes her head. "I'll have to talk to Daisuke about it."

"Kiddo," Kali says. "You should probably think twice about taking your brother's advice."

"Why? Daisuke wouldn't give me bad advice." Kaede says.

"Oh, we know." Sachiko says. "It's not that he gives BAD advice...it's just...when your brother makes a decision...it tends to be..."

The roof of the hall is ripped off and a wall of water, dead kelp, and deader koi all crash onto the ground.

And floating in the air, right where the koi pond was, is a young girl with fish belly pale skin, a filthy coat and skirt, black matted hair, a Hello Kitty purse, and a glare in her eyes that promises death.

Red PKE crackles from her hands.

"Crap." Star says.

"Really Unlucky."

Anyone know what her deal is? For research.

Otanoshimini.

What did we do with the scalpel and knife?

Because a sample of kitsune lifeblood could be useful for... I don't know, give them to a witch for magic potions?
>>
>>33330608
That is the Avatar of Water something something. The one who technically isn't our enemy and our real enemies were trying to convince her to join their side.

Looks like we did that work for them.
>>
>>33330608
She had a shitty homelife, was abandoned by her mom, and somehow wound up on the roof of her apartment building trying to get her purse, which had fallen into the building's water tank. Somehow.

She fell in, nobody noticed, and she eventually drowned. The groundskeeper eventually noticed, but couldn't bring himself to retrieve her corpse, leaving her to rot for a year.

And now she pretty much haunts people and forces women to be her mom.

It's really a lot... smaller and more personal than the other two aspects of Oiwa, who were a powerful psychic and a sin-eater respectively.
>>
>>33330623
Technically she kidnapped our sister and has regularly been pressganging and killing women to be her mother, before getting tired of them and getting new ones.
>>
>>33330623
Note to self: Collateral damage may be fine. Damaging with intent, not so much.

>>33330634
Sounds familiar… not Japanese per se, but familiar. Also older than Sanrio. Mind is fuzz----

>>33330659
Ah, the drain from the slime lotion experiment.
>>
>>33330609
All blood has some power in it, but yes we'll keep it to track her PKE signature. Likewise we keep at least a few coins of the gold from the Rage Spirit at least until we can get an accurate reading of her PKE signature.

We seem to have a habit of bagging the not so bad ghosts while letting the most violent and sociopathic ones away.
>>
>>33330713
It's more that the violent and sociopathic ones are the ones strong enough to not die long enough for us to use nonlethal methods.
>>
>>33330732
At least in the case of Kitsune and living beings, as their's really no point in being "nonlethal" to actual ghosts.
