Monster scratches his head. “Well, no not stuck exactly. We can leave at any point. Only problem is those guys, the squad Zero I mentioned? They seem to have got some brain damage when the Soul King died. They won’t use any Shinigami techniques until we use them first. So if we were to gate out of here…” Monster explains.

“Then they would follow you to the world of the living.” Ryoko concludes.

“Exactly.” He finishes.

“What were you doing out there anyway? Why not just hide in the tower, wait for reinforcements?” You wonder.

The fuck do you think we did? We laid low, stayed quiet. Help didn’t come so we had to try and survive as best we could.” He growls, sucks to be them. “That is what I was doing out there. We found pieces of the soul king. Been using it for, well, food more or less.”

He pulls out a small crystal and you realize it smells of blood. Not just blood, but also faintly of the radiance of every sunrise. A supernova the size of a galaxy. The Big Bang itself. So the Soul King’s blood, and parts that got chopped off during the battle with Lucy. Not enough for him to care about them, but enough to possibly break into energy for them to eat.

He tosses the crystal to his group, one of whom catches it and starts doing something to it to make it break down into the fundamental energies and be absorbed by his comrades. “So what’s that squad Zero thing?” Jager wonders.

Monster shrugs. “Any shinigami who breaks the mold the soul king would keep around for his use. See what makes them tick, see how he could use them to eat better. He corrupted them and made them hella strong, but since he died they been acting crazier than usual.”

“Right then, let’s go kill squad Zero.” You say nodding.

Monster looks at you like you have stupid coming out of your mouth. “You can barely stand up out there.” He explains.

“I will probably get better of just deal with the minuses. How tough can they be?” You wonder.

“You don’t know shit about these guys.” You know Lucifer considered them beneath his notice at least. “Every time we encountered them those mother fuckers get a bit smarter, and a bit stronger. We’ve been fighting them for fuck knows how long.” He swears a lot. That bothers me.

“Mind your tongue, there are kids here.” You say gesturing at your plant who is also being effected by the atmosphere. “Besides, better to do than not to do. Ask for forgiveness rather than permission. Tell those who dare something something over the bodies of our English dead.” You declare.

Monster is about to say something in reply when you hear clapping. Is- hey, doesn’t that guy look a lot like James Dean? You turn and see a bloke with styled hair, a leather jacket, and a cigarette dangling out of his mouth. You press your lips together in thought before shaking your head. “Nah, doesn’t seem quite right. Nice looking bloke, but no James Dean.”

“Yes he is nice looking isn’t he?” Jager comments idly. Welp, looks like someone has to die, we are terribly selfish as far as Jager’s affections go.

“Shit.” Monster says grabbing his sword, the other shinigami grabbing their weapons.

You notice this bloke doesn’t have any form of corruption on him. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a small rock. “Hado, let’s call it Three-Twenty-Three. Dying World’s Scream.” He says and you feel a massive outpouring of spiritual energy.

You turn and extend your energy shield around your comrades as the technique activates. You see a ring of raw creation flow in a perfect circle in the room around you, and then it splits tearing reality apart at the borders. It explodes in a wave of raw destructive energy, your shield just barely stopping it from spreading your parts all over the place.

The tower, despite its white stone, shatters sending you and the visored out through the island. You hold your head as your senses get assaulted once more and you barely hold back vomit. You see Monster land on his feet where you fell and hold his blade in front of him.

“Kido terrorist Nakayama Kenji.” We are going to call him Kenji for simplicities sake. “He stole the forbidden spells and began adapting them to invent ones above one hundred. He turned all of Soul Society into his experiment.” Monster explains.

“Cool, you know me?” Kenji asks slowly landing on the ground in front of your group with his hands in his pockets. “Didn’t think anyone left who remembered my style.”

“Yeah, I know you.” Monster says, his sword screaming in hate.

“What’s this? A bunch of arrancar, and a human? All of them pretty cute too. Hey, why don’t you join my side. All the pretty women in squad zero ain’t the type for loving.” He explains with a smile.

You feel your legs get all wibbly wobbly under you, but you decide to grit your teeth and think of England. You throw out a cero enhanced kick which seems to take him by surprise and give you a leg up. Jager opens fire with her weird gun, the vampiric spikes slicing through the air and providing momentarily relief to your senses.

Your plant tries to take aim with her bow but is unable to get a lock around you and your vicious assault. You slam your head into the face of the bastard and force him down to the ground before raising your arm and getting ready for a singularity. You just notice he has been chanting something. “Hado 99. Version 2.” You are covered in a black world, giving you the vague sense of a pyramid.

You feel your body get skewered by lances of blackness which detonate inside you. You stumble out of the coffin, your eyes bleeding from the impact and feel your regeneration start to take hold. “Bastard.” You snarl and see him make a gesture of some kind. He freezes, like he just forgot an answer to a pop quiz then tilts his head. Monster takes his chance to slam his blade into him and shove him into the earth.

“Sorry, but my squad all sucks at Bakudo.” He explains summoning an orb of Cero energy boiling and sputtering with twisted intent.

It drops into the hole Monster’s sword shoved him in and you get the impression of a geyser erupting. Scatterings of meat and energy froth over and you sigh deeply, then think better of it as the sticky universe decides now is a good time to stab your sinuses.

“Well, that hurt.” You hear him say as he leaps out of his hole, covered in scrapes.

You don’t let the opportunity pass you up, quickly throwing out your own Ceros which detonate on impact. He doesn’t fly back, but his guard is broken which gives Ryoko a chance to send him flying with a punch. You see him grit his teeth and his eyes flash dangerously for a moment. He gets sent back across the island and you see Monster consider what to do.

“The bloody hell was that then? He didn’t look too mutated to me.” You explain pointing out at him angrily.

Monster looks at you, then back to where the guy flew. “You mean like us? Probably because we are incomplete. You can only tell something is wrong when there is something different next to it to compare it to.” He spits before sighing and placing his sword over his shoulder. “We are lucky. I am the only one able to use Bankai and I haven’t had a need to yet.” He explains.

You hear a scream, like some high pitched locust or swan beetle or something. “Shit.” Monster says as he ready’s his sword.

You look over and see Kenji has flash stepped over the distance, evidently able to cover that distance easily. “Fuck you!” He shouts firing a cero which the Kenji easily avoids.

Sin-Fin steps forward and weaves a barrier of cero which forces the Shinigami to stop, giving you a chance to perform another flurry of kicks.

Seems battle is rejoined.

If there's one thing I take away from this, it's that stacking Old One debuffs is totally worth it.

Man it would be awesome to get the entire Squad Zero under our command as the SKs successor. They're like perfect soldiers that can withstand enormous punishment and probably revive themselves like the old Captain Commander only to come back for more even stronger.

Okay, so it probably wouldn't work, but I still want Risa to have something like this.

You think you actually feel worse now than when you first got here.

You charge your ceros once more and charge after him, uncertain what exactly to do in this situation. You kick up the orb of electricity and let it start doing that freaky voodoo it does before leaping and spinning into a kick. You detach your leg after connecting your kick with his rips and small vines of sinew and meat wrap around the shinigami. He curses as they try to dig into his skin and he has to use some form of super awesome shinigami magic to start ripping it out.

Your tails swing out lined with razor sharp teeth and stab into the shinigami’s collarbone. You pull it back in an attempt to saw it off but the bone you hit bites back at your tails causing you to pull back. You look over at him and see his wound bubble with eyes, and teeth, and lashing tentacles in order to close back up before he points at you and fires a beam of red light. You roll out of the way giving Sin-Fin enough room to swing up at his arms. She tries to cut them off at the wrist, but once her blade bites deep enough you hear something like teeth grinding and he pulls his arms, pulling her sword out of her hands and throwing it to the side.

She leaps for it and receives a knee to the ribs which makes her wheeze in a manner most unbecoming for a young lady. She crumples to the ground and his foot connects with her chin sending her flying back. He would chase after her but Jager stops him by bombarding him with spikes. You see the lightning orb you sent up is firing off bolts randomly and causing him to roll around annoyed.

I think the environment is taking a toll on both Risa and the plant. AE said that Risa is sensitive to time-stuffs and the plant even more so. There's obviously a multiplier here that's causing us to almost vomit our guts up, and that is also pretty much debilitating the plant.

You are feeling a little better as the pain fades and your eyeballs are all swimmy just a tad.

You reach into your pants and frown. “Monologue be more clear with how I am feeling. I can’t read your mind you know.” Well, I mean. Technically you can since this is a- you know what? Never mind. You are feeling one third better! Not literally, it is still actually like rowing through raw muck because of your rocky parts, but it is clearer that way. If you can’t figure it out from here I am just going to throw you to the Jagers.

You leap forward and slam your guitar into his face, the instrument making a pleasing BLONG sound which makes your ears want to wiggle. He falls back a step and one of your bolts zaps him a bit giving your skin a tingling feeling for just a bit. You wrap him in your tails and swing him overhead and slam him into the ground. You don’t let go, instead detonating your tails, not fully trusting your ability to aim straight quite yet.

You go flying forward, lamenting your fallen fluff. Sin-Fin points at him and, her eyes flashing for a moment, commands him to “remember”. You see his body tear itself apart all at once, scattering, bruising, tearing, and reliving every bad incident which ever happened to him at once.

I think that it might actually make things better.

Fate/time is constantly trying to repair itself. There doesn't seem to be enough raw stuff floating around in the F/T matrix for it to do so here.

My theory as to why having FBs is hurting us here is because F/T is trying to rip them out of us to repair itself, kinda like when you throw a person into a really try place and the air starts sucking all the water out of their body.

You sonido forward and time your attack just right to kick him when he leaves the hole. He throws up a guard and you spin around moving faster than he is to kick him in the other side knocking him a few meters back. You throw up your hands and craft a violet dawn above you, your wings helping to hold the whole thing together. You throw it out and sonido aside as another black triangle forms. “Pyramid.” This word is 2d, shut your gob.

You dash around random spikes of soul magic and leap into the air. You spin, you show off, and deliver a sharp kick to the bastards face. He blocks it, but gets sent into Ryoko’s arms. Your Berserker thrashes him a few times, slamming him into the ground and connecting a rain of punches with his stomach before throwing him at your big orb of fuck you.

The Squad Zero member starts making hand signs, but Sin-Fin calmly points at him and says “Remember” and he is once more torn apart. His body is taken by the dawn and you see him already trying to pull himself back together, highly efficiently I might add.

You see his body fade into a small rock which you stuff into your pants. Why you ask? “No, I’m-“ You try to rebuff me but cough and vomit once more.

A large X forms over her torso and blood flies out. You dream walk over to him and throw out a kick which hits him, but only for a second before he flash steps back away.

Ryoko snarls and starts chasing the man swinging her fists wildly, but the flash steps leave behind after images which she keeps getting fooled by. The man leaps away from one of your bolts of lightning and crouches down on a ledge. Sin-Fin points at him but before she can speak the man is under her. He stabs his fingers into Sin-Fin’s throat and she lets out a vague mumbles sound, evidently having her voice damaged.

You leap after him and start swinging, your kicks getting avoided by his higher speed. You get an idea and throw out an attack, then have your leg split open and small spears of flesh stab out. You score a hit on him and smile pleased with your idea. “Your movements are way too predictable. Even if you are a fast bastard I am pretty sure I can catch up.” You say.

“R-Risa.” Jager says pulling herself up.

She points behind you and you see four more members of squad zero, their go juice flaring as they draw their weapons.

Not bad.

You throw up another cannon orb just as you see Jager get in her JAGER 3 armor just as you sonido after the flash step guy. You summon a portal to head him off and get a glancing rake of your claws over his side. He ignores it and flash steps away to the distance. You follow him and find him waiting on the edge of the island. You charge your body with ceros and lash out at him sending a wave of kicks after the much faster enemy.

He steps quickly around your blows, sending out small slashes of his own which cut away at you go juice as well as your flesh, but your power is a bit much for him to do anything significant to right now. You open a portal behind you and send out a kick which send him back right into one of your waiting tails. You punch to the side and get a nice hit on his jaw.

He shimmers for a moment and flash steps out of your grasp before throwing out a small sickle on a chain. It hamstrings you and you waver for a moment which gives him a chance to flash step through you and carve several large chunks out of your body. You use your tails to pull you along like a spider and stab out with the fluffy angel steel like objects.

The man flash steps around you, but you chase after him after your body comes back and find yourself back where you started. Jager’s armor is mostly torn off and she is nursing a pretty nasty wound to her side. Ryoko is being hacked to pieces by a woman with her arms turned into blades of some sort, her go juice not like the rest of them.

Jager fires a blast behind Sin-Fin, knocking a ninja looking dude out of some form of cloaking while she furiously deflects blows from a large man with a rapier. Ryoko’s fist slams into the woman with blade arms and you see a crack rise up, but it quickly gets patched and she then slashes a chunk off of Ryoko.

Monster swings his sword at the blade woman and knocks her over to you. You deliver a spinning kick which you then detonate, sending shards of metal flying off the woman’s body. You look around for your flash step guy and hear a cry from the side as he stabs Jager through the side and deep into her ribs. She spins around and fires several blasts of cero energy which the man nimbly avoids, but in doing so get hit by a bolt of lightning.

He staggers and turns swinging his sickle at you which you duck under as Sin-Fin gets stabbed in her thigh by the fencer, lowering her mobility.

Pretty good.

You pop your last fatebreaker and turn your hate engine on one more time, demanding it gives us its slutty engine one more time. It cries and that makes you happy. Your speed doubled you chase after the bloke and find yourself a little bit faster than him. You take pace with him and carve a trail of destruction as the two of you exchange blows, your shifting razors and knives along your legs to cut into him.

You wrap your leg around his head and throw him to the ground before charging your violet dawn. You throw up your ceros and then throw it at him, not really caring that the execution is really sloppy. You see him look up at your dawn and split into three directions.

One charges your cero, detonating it close to you, the other two go wide and as you get blasted back, wrapping your tails around you for protection, they slice you. You look down at your chest and see spiked chains form which saw you into fourths

You gurgle and fall to the ground, then melt together and fire fleshy spears up at the flash stepping son of a whore. He tries to dodge all of them but one stabs into his ankle. You twist your fleshy body and swing him into the ground. He pushes himself up and jolts as the crack of a gun echoes through the world.

You take your chance and sonido forward to slam your fist into his face, then detonate your cero energy sending him skidding back.

The best plan I see for jager 9 is for us to stand in front of her and tie up incoming enemies while she charges. Plus if she could get her stronger mechs to converge she could probably have beaten us.

You look over and see Jager, her armor torn off of her, holding two large guns which you think she is using to compensate for her lack of a penis. They roar as they send cero/spike enhanced rounds out at the enemies. When she runs out of ammo she uses the gun in her other hand to give covering fire while she puts a fresh magazine in with one hand, then uses her teeth to chamber a new round.

She does this to keep Ryoko from being pinned down by the woman with sword arms, who seems to be just slicing huge chunks off of her and not giving her a chance to regenerate, and to give cover to Sin-Fin who has not had a chance to use her second release and, with her throat damaged, seems unable to use her remember power.

That second hurts as the flash step guy carves a few ribbons off your torso, but you dream walk over to Jager and throw out your Ceros which he nimbly avoids.

You see Monster is giving cover to Jager as well, though in his case he is mostly just randomly swinging to keep that ninja dude back.

You feel chains of your go juice being pulled out.

The last few fights you have gone into were pretty much you jumping someone. When fighting solo, or in group battles the field is totally different. Jager is doing well despite never having used her armor in a group battle before.

I should also point out that these are battlefields and while yes, Jager wants to come and help you that means there is a chance she can die. That means she can get hurt.

I get you like her, I like her too, but seriously. You are trying to kill each other. It means your group can suffer losses.

Well, this is going to hurt.

You sonido over to the flash step guy and duck under his hit. You kick up and feel teeth crack under your expertly performed attack. You leap into the air and kick down sending him into the earth. You are about to chase him down when you feel a blade pierce your chest. You look down and see the Ninja who was after Jager decided you made a much better looking target.

You open a mouth on your back and fire a cero his way, but like the wind he is already gone. You swear before the flash step guy places his hand on your forehead and slams you into the ground, running along the fresh earth and carving a trench with your head. You kick up, but only hit an after image. You feel a chain pull you up and throw you at the woman with blade for arms.

Jager points one of her guns at the woman and another at the guy attacking Sin-Fin and fires both, her arms flexing as they take the strain of the kick. The woman spins and slices the bullets, which you know come on, and as you send out a kick you feel something odd happen around her.

You freeze and the woman’s face goes long, like a snake or something, before she says “Two slice!”

Each of her blade hands cut you once. “Four slice!” She continues cutting you into meaty chunks which struggle to pull yourself back together. “Sixteen slice!” She roars again and cuts you to pieces. You ball back up and send out a massive fox/snake like maw lined with teeth and eyes, then see her flash. “Two hundred fifty six slash!” She shouts and you see her shiver as reality can’t keep up with her attack. You are diced to chunks but not out. You push yourself up out of your gore puddle and throw out a cero, a wide smile on your face.

She flashes again and you open your mouth. “No bloody way.”

“Sixty-five thousand five hundred thirty six slash!” She shouts moving once but a countless number, well she did count them didn’t she? Anyway, a large number of flashes soar through you and turn you into a fine red mist. You strain your regeneration and pull yourself back together as a disgusting, skinless thing and lash out at her.

She calmly bisects the air and says. “Final dance. Four billion, two hundred ninety four million, nine hundred sixty seven thousand, two hundred and ninety six slash.” She says calmly and you feel it. Like a small knife cutting through each of your cells her blade, moving far faster than you think is entirely fair.

Your rocks go skittering back to Jager and you feel the terrible strain as you replace your body in a moment. Sin-Fin makes a strange mewling sound as the rapier stabs into her shoulder but she gives as good as she gets placing her blade under her enemies shoulder and cutting away his tendon. She hops back as your runes reform your body and you see Ryoko is back up, evidently your little attack giving her enough time to regenerate and attack the constantly cutting woman.

You see Flash step monkey run at you but Jager opens fire, keeping him back for now. He dances around the bullets and you can imagine him counting down until she has to reload. As you plop down on the earth, your body back, you grumble. “I don’t much care for this world anymore.”

Monster swings and knocks the ninja back, he throwing a knife into Jager's elbow which makes her drop one of her hand cannons, before looking around.

That may be, but it's not the instant death sentence that people seem to be painting it as. And 3rd release charged up would have accomplished that, anyway.

But let's be realistic here. Yelling at eachother isn't doing shit but making everyone more angry.

Can we all I'm not just directing this at you or any one person here just take a step back and realize that nobody here has ever consistently suggested 100% the best course of action, stop screaming about how everyone else is retards, and play the thread out?
