You are Amy Wolf, a Private in the Prince's Militia on your way to Yorkminister to be properly inducted into the armed forces. You're in the town of Mossheith, while the train refuels overnight. After turning down an offer to assassinate someone, you've returned to your room to wait out the night. However, your evening is interrupted by Dmitri, fleeing from killers, begging to be let in.

Last Thread: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/33124918/

You shove the tearful boy into the closet and shut the door. This won't do in the least. You sit on the bed, revolver in your right hand, knife in your left, and wait for the inevitable knock on the door. You thumb three bullets into the chambers. It'll be enough, you reckon, because they won't be expecting armed resistance and you're confident you can shoot three people in the head.

Outside, the night is quiet. A dark thing lands on the windowsill. It's small, around the size of a beer mug and covered in sleek and oily blackness. It looks incredibly soft. It has a sharp point in the middle of its head. Its eyes are dark and forboding. "Caw." This must be what a bird looks like, you wonder. He's beautiful. His, feathers, were they?- bunch out at odd angles yet look neat, as though God ordained for them to be that way. You pull back the hammer of your revolver. It feels heavy in your hand and already is slick with sweat. How longer are you going to have to wait?

The knock at the door is as loud as an artillery shell.
>>
"We have reason to believe that you are harbouring a fugitive. Come out with your arms behind your head and we will not take any violent action, however, if you do not, we will be pressed to extract both you and the fugitive."

Fugitive? What do you do?
>Ask Dmitri what the hell is going on?
>Obey the voice
>Attempt diplomacy with the voice?
>>
>>33270101
>Demand to know on whose authority that the voice makes such a demand of the Prince's Militia.
We have our Royal Orders.
>>
>>33270133
I'll wait for one more vote, seeing as I have a fairly small playerbase. Also, here's my twitter. https://twitter.com/Nefer_Mesjet
>>
Eh, or not. Writing.
>>
“Just who exactly do you think you are? I am a soldier in the Prince's Militia. You better show me some respect.”
“And around here, Henny has no power.” You bristle at the informality. “This is our land, and we can do whatever the hell we want to. Give us the boy and we won't kill you both.”
“I don't want to give you him.” you say. “I paid for him, I damn well should get my money's worth. He's my property for the next few hours, and I'm not wasting it. Now if you don't go away, I'll have to make you.”
“Fine,” says the voice, and you hear steps walking away. You heave a sigh of relief, thank fuck that's over- and then, well, the door breaks in.

Roll for initiative.

What kind of die do you want us to roll?
>>
>>33270367
Do we have to fight? Wouldn't it be smarter to just hand over the boy to them, he means nothing to us after all.
>>
>>33270407
And I feel adding that we (the players) didn't even indicate that we want to fight in the first place, just learn more of the situation before we make our decision.
>>
Rolled 17

>>33270407
>>33270398
You guys need to come to an agreement on that. Some of the players evidently like him or otherwise wouldn't have let him into your room.

d20's fine.
>>
>>33270426
Liking someone and starting killing people over them are a bit different things, don't you agree?
>>
>>33270422
The opposition doesn't give a shit about what you want, only whether we are an obstacle or not.
And anything short of handing the boy over immediately meant that this was going to become a fight.
And I don't care about Dmitry that much, I just want to kill this man for the disrespect to the Crown that he has shown.
>>
>>33270458
Dude, starting killing local lord's men is totally shaming the Crown too. Let's hand the kid over peacefully and see if we can do something for him legal-wise tomorrow.

Besides, he might be an actual fugitive you know? A criminal.
>>
>>33270446
I'd agree entirely. So that's why it's your decision. We need one more person's decision for events to occur.
>>
>>33270446
Well, the guy who broke down our door doesn't seem to care about our feelings on the matter, now does he?
I mean, he could have just waited, but he decided he wanted to have a go at a soldier rather than wait for a better opportunity.
He most likely would have tried to kill us anyway in order to get rid of witnesses.
>>
>>33270481
There is that, true. Still, I'd rather not start shooting people over some two-bit boy whore.
>>
>>33270477
>Let's hand the kid over peacefully
You think that will end well when the guy has already busted down our door, and is trying to get at a witness to a murder?
You really think that this man is a part of the local constabulary and that anything legal could be done for Dmitry before he's killed in the closet as is about to happen?
>>
My samefag detector isn't up to scratch in the least, but unless I'm totally mistaken, there are two people for killing and two for handing over. Am I correct in this assumption?
>>
>>33270510
>I'd rather not start shooting people over some two-bit boy whore.
He threatened to kill us and broke the door down.
Are you sure it's still about Dmitry, and after saying that he'll kill us both, that he won't kill us now regardless of whether we hand the boy over?
>>
>>33270567
No, as far as I know only I am for handing him over. On the other hand there seems to be only one other player in this thread, so...
>>
The figure towers above you. “You're going to die, little girl,” he says, and with that, pins you to the bed. He's heavy, his breath smells terrible, and you can't quite see his face, as it's obscured by a mask. Of what, however, you're not sure. His hands are about your throat. He is pinning you by kneeling on your torso. His hands are about your throat. You notice that he hasn't pinned your hands with his knees. Despite this, if you don't stab him quickly, he'll choke you out. Because you're fairly hoary, you can probably knock him off. DC 16, 1d20+8

Play dead!
>>
Rolled 11 + 8

>>33270773
Since he hasn't pinned our hands, and we've got a knife and a gun, stick that knife right in between his ribs, knock him off, and then shoot him in the gut.
I want the death to be painful, and slow enough that we can extract information from him.
>>
>>33270784
This guy is fairly well trained and will probably know if you're faking. You can try, but it will be slightly harder. DC 18, 1d20+6 (You're not a shit actor, but you're no Olivier)

>>33270834
Well done, Anons, but decide what you're actually going to do! (Or is it better form to take the first roll?)
>>
>>33270848
Well, seeing that my suggestion to play dead came first, I think the only fair thing to do is to take it. Both rolls are successful, anyway.
>>
>>33270884
Of course your post came first, your post consisted of two words only, and no roll.
All that does is promote the least thought out and shortest posts.
>>
>>33270884
>>33270929
He rolled first, though. You guys decide by yourselves, and I'll write both outcomes.
>>
>>33270948
Well, shooting the bad guy is the expected course of action which makes it trite and boring. Playing dead takes the story in an entirely weird direction which sounds much more fun to me.
>>
>>33270948
We're not going to compromise.
Playing dead when he's got his hands around our throat also seems pretty stupid.
It doesn't matter how well we can hold our breath or go limp, he can feel our heartbeat through our jugular, you know.
>>
>>33271030
Fuck you and your stupid "interesting".
Your "fun" is just asspulls and plot holes, doing the absurd simply for absurdity's sake.
>>
>>33271030
>>33271038
Well, both of your actions are going to have rather high penalties because you're being strangled. Playing dead in this context will almost definitely get you killed because he is going to check whether you're concious. On the other hand, shooting someone with a revolver at point blank range, directly after being strangled for a minute is probably going to end in tears, and not necessarily his tears.

>>33271087
You're right that it's a little silly to play dead in that situation, but there's no need to be angry or to be mean.
>>
>>33271120
>Playing dead in this context will almost definitely get you killed because he is going to check whether you're concious.
Then kill us, show us that stupid actions will have consequences.
Are we going to have plot armor like some kind of Monty Python sketch.
>>
>>33271187
Sure.
You let everything go loose. You breathe as softly and as smally as you can. You don't move. He knees you in the ribs. Roll fort save, DC18 1d20+5 (strangulation penalty) to resist pain and not make a noise.

>>33271286

You let out a low moan, or rather, you try to. It comes out as something closer to a yelp. He gets back onto you, and takes care this time, to force the gun out of your hand. You're now staring down the barrel, with his right hand holding you firmly in place.
“Goodbye, Private.” he says, “See you on the other side.” His finger clenches around the trigger, you think of mum, you think of home, you think of the Lord's Prayer.
Our father, who art in heaven.
Why hasn't he fired yet?
Hallowed be thy name.
Somewhere far off you hear a clink. Like a bottle. What, a bottle? Why's there a bottle here, I-
Your kingdom come,
Your eyes are now covered in blood
Your will be done-

The man slumps. And falls on top of you.
>>
>>33271308
Really? You had to resort to plot armor and asspulls like this?
All this does is show that there are no consequences for failure, because someone or something will just bail us out.
>>
>>33271308
Wipe your face clean. Is there someone else in the room?
>>
>>33271341
No, it's entirely credible. Read through the archive. There's a bottle of gin in the cupboard. Dmitri is niether blind nor mentally dificient. It's in his best interests to protect you, as the guy will just go kill him next. He can see the guy killing you. So he hits the guy with the bottle. How the hell is that plot armour or an asspull?

>>33271367
Dmitri heaves him off you, holding the broken bottle of gin in one hand, and a fistful of the guy's hair in the other. You wipe the blood off your face.
"Where to now, Owner?" he asks.
"I haven't got a fucking clue."
>>
>>33271464
Don't bother to respond to trolls, OP.

>Check the guy's pockets, does he have identification?
>>
>>33271516
In his pockets are the following: a hand radio, a small packet of pills, a flask of some alcohol and a bunch of miniature roses. The hand radio is fixed to its setting and otherwise unmarked. The pills are half-green, half-yellow, and totally unlabelled. The alcohol smells heady and aromatic, and probably will get you drunk quite quickly. The roses are white, now reddening with blood. The man is still breathing, just unconscious and with a head injury.
>>
>>33271565
Grab the radio and kid, it's time to get the hell out of dodge. Is there a back door or some other entrance?

Oh also, does the guy have red hair?
>>
>>33271590
I'm sorry, guys, but I'm going out for a bit, sit safe and have fun discussions while I'm gone. Am I doing a good job as a QM thus far? Asspulls regardless, am I making the story vaguely interesting?

The guy is bald and has both eyes. You haven't quite yet seen the back enterance. You can take the guy with you and interrogate him later if you wish. Your room doesn't face the main street.

See y'all hopefully in an hour.
>>
>>33271625
You need a mechanism for resolving deadlocked votes.
You also have a tendency to leave details out, only to remember and put them in using a followup post.

As for the story, there has been action but no interest. We have the goal of getting to our destination and reporting for duty; everything else feels like nothing but obstacles.
>>
>>33271913
How do I into interest?
>>
>>33272603
There's also the fact that you added a kid follower to the MC (fine, in itself) who happens to be a boy prostitute. That makes the entire quest feel like we're in your personal masturbatory fantasy, honestly. Even though anything hasn't happened it still makes the quest feel iffy.
>>
>>33272638
Well, just so that you're aware, he's the same age as the MC and nothing lewd has happened yet. So I'm not sure how I could possibly be magical-realming you.

For deadlocked votes- a voter from either side announces their position and rolls a d6, whomever makes the higher roll gets their position through. Ie.

Anon1: I want to fly the jet
Anon2: But I want to drive the tank
(a while passes, both Anons 1 and 2 have equal votes, discussion becomes heated)
Anon1: I want to fly the jet: dice+1d6=4
Anon2: I want to drive the tank dice+1d6=5
Me: You drive the tank.
>>
>>33272730
Oh, I had just gotten the image the he's around 12 or so.
>>
>>33272848
No, he's as old as you are, which is in the nebulous zone between sixteen and eighteen. I may have mentioned Amy's age earlier, but it isn't quite relevant to the campaign. What do you think of my deadlock-breaker, and how else can I into interest?
>>
>>33272893
The deadlock mechanism is workable. Not great, but it'll do.
At that point it IS just flipping a coin between the two options; you're only providing the illusion of having control over the outcome.

As for interest, having story hooks come to us is probably not the answer.
Dangling a hook and then pulling it away so the players have to chase it could work better.

Or smaller, more easily accomplished sidequests, especially ones that make better sense than a hotel key that cost 300 pounds to make.

Also, forcibly delaying us getting to our main destination just makes things frustrating. If we choose to put it off, though, then that means we're interested in something.
>>
>>33273045
Alright, thanks a lot. I mean, how would a better QM deal with such a quandry?

Okay, I think I'll get back to the quest now, Anon, if you'll permit me.

The radio crackles to life.
"Barnabus, come in! Have you succeeded in your objective?"
You're not quite sure what do to. Barnabus' voice was nothing like yours or Dmitri's, and you don't think that you could bluff pretending to be him.
>>
>>33273163
Ehh, ditch the radio in a toilet bowl or something, as long as it cannot be used anymore. What about windows, which floor we are on again?
>>
>>33273254
Third. The windows have wood frames and if you hit them hard enough, they'll break cleanly.

You put the still-squalking radio into the loo and flush. The squalking ceases. You turn and frown at Dmitri. "I'm not your owner. You're not my slave. I'm not paying you to do anything to me. Or vice versa. Let's get out of here."
"The train's going to leave in-" he looks at the bedside clock- "Four hours. We have bags of time to get to the station."
"What are we going to do?"
"Shall we ask Barnabus?"

>Shall we?
>>
>>33273163
Pour some water into the sink, then drop the radio into it.
We won't have much time.
Tie up Barnabus with the sheets, make sure to gag and blindfold him, and then bring him with us for questioning later.

We'll leave via the rear exit and stairs. We didn't see anybody else in this hotel, so we should be okay in terms of getting out unseen.

Cover up Barnabus in sheets after tying his arms and legs, so that it looks like we're getting rid of a rolled up carpet.
>>
>>33270046
Alright it's the best part of the day! The Sora quest!
>>
>>33273378
We can't stay here; our location here was already compromised, and destroying the radio will only confirm that Barnabus was unable to complete his mission and that another cleaner will be sent after us.

>>33273437
Do you think that either of you guys have Knowledge (Shibari/Interrogation)?
>>33273462
What do you suggest is done?
>>
>>33273489
Knowledge (Ropes) or Knowledge (Knots), or the Ropes skill. If Amy doesn't have it, we can ask Dmitry.
Tie up Barnabus, roll him up in a carpet, take him outside and into an alley where we can ask him questions, and then kill him.
>>
>>33273489
When will the quest become more cozy and SoL ish?
>>
>>33273529
"Dmitri, do you know anything about tying people up?"
He immediately turns a shade of purple. "I-"
"Not in that way, idiot. We need to make sure that this guy doesn't-"
"Yes, I know how. How much rope do you have?"
"Well, the bedsheet, the curtains...look around you. Here, have the knife. I'll leave you to your work."
You sit on the windowsill and have a smoke. Your Dad told you that cigarettes should be saved for special occasions where they can be savoured. Mum told you that you should have one directly after doing something violent, scary, stressful- in short, to counterract extreme emotions. You mumble an apology to Dad, and light up. The warmth fills your lungs and you cough roughly, but soon, all is all right.

>>33273552
What is SoL?
I've got cozy plans in the future once you get with your platoon, but that's all I'm willing to say.
>>
Dmitri is finished tying up Barnabus. His ankles are tied to his wrists, and the knots look secure. You give one a tug and Barnabus grunts. He's been gagged and blindfolded. Perfect. You put him onto the carpet and Dmitri helps you roll him up. With bags, boy and captive, you make your way out into the corridor. It's pitch black, with two exceptions The first is a swinging light at the end of the corridor, indicating the stairs down. The other is a happily blazing fire at the other end.
>What do you do?
>>
>>33273782
Well, then. Let's make sure that our knife and gun are in easy reach, and go to the stairs.
We will stab any attacker in the face this time.
>>
>>33273837
Dmitri still has your knife. At the moment, you're still in your qt dress. Do you want to change into something more practical?
>>
>>33273908
No. The uniform is recognizable, and the Militia is not welcome in this town.
>>
You shove the revolver into your sash and help Dmitri drag the rug downstairs. You don't say anything to him. The worst possible thing that you've done right now is destroyed the radio. But what else could you have done, shouted down the line that you have Barnabus as hostage? No, that would be foolish. The stairway has enough room for two and a bit people per stair so with you holding the prow of the rug and Dmitri holding the end of it, you can get down rather quickly. On the second floor landing, there's a small hatbox next to a dying man in his eighties. He's bearded, has a shiny pate now crimson with blood and he's gripping desperately to a photograph. His eyes meet yours and his mouth silently forms words.
>What do you do?
>>
>>33274131
"Dmitry, do you recognize him?"
Check the photo, then the wound on the man.
Likely to be Barnabus' work.
>>
>>33274457
"Never seen him before," he says. He doesn't appear to be lying. The photo is of a girl not much older than yourself in the uniform of the Prince's Militia. She has long, red hair and a sardonic grin on her face. Her shoulderpatch has the number 1891 on it. The old man grabs your wrist,
"Please find her," he says, his voice barely a whisper, "Please tell her to look under the tree."
"What tree?"
"She'll know," he says, "Please do it."
"I-" Dmitri interrupts, "Yes, sir, we promise."
"Thank you," he says, and closes his eyes. Blood bubbles from between his lips. Dmitri tears his shirt off. There are great and tenebrous purple patches all over his body. There's a deep cut in the back of his head.
"Internal bleeding," you say. "I don't think he's going to survive."
"There's a fucking fire in the hotel, we need to get out of here."
"He's going to die alone if we leave him."
"We all die alone, Amy."
You ignore him. You sit down next to the old man, and hold his hand until you can feel his pulse no longer. You pocket the photograph and drag Barnabus down the stairs. Dmitri looks upset. On the first floor, there is nobody. Not even any blood or scent of humanity. Just nothing. Out in the street, flashlights bob. You hear a shout
"'Ere, someone's in the hotel,"
>What do you do?
>>
>>33274631

There are two doors on the first floor, one faces the beams, the other, you don't know. It's quite dark, but the few candles in the room do well to illuminate. The front desk remains generally unmolested. There are drawers, that contain among other things, a monacle, a toothbrush, a small hammer and a heavy looking collection of keys. The till contains £550, and a stiletto. It doesn't seem that the small weapon has actually helped in the least; a piece of the receptionist's shirt lies on the floor near the desk. The front door isn't a good exit strategy, unless you're willing to kill your way though the owners of the- you count them- two dozen beams. You try the other door, and lo and behold, it's locked.
A voice shouts, "I'm going in!"

He nimbly throws something. The impact of it knocks you off your feet. A sharp pain slices through your shoulder. You drop the gun. You try to speak, all you can do is make gasps and form silent words.
"Don't move or I'll kill you both.", says the man, walking over to pick up the pistol.
Why do they want to? What's going to happen? Dmitri shouts an obscenity at him. If you could shout, you'd do the same. The rest of his friends burst into the room. Welp.
"The boss'll be pleased!" one says,
"Look at the tits on 'er," says another.
"Call those tits? The only thing that sets 'er apart from the whore is the dress."
They guffaw. A man steps over the threshold. All the men suddenly stop talking. They stand to attention. They part.
"My my," he says, in a voice as smooth as chocolate, "My killer and my witness. Won't this be a fun evening." In the glare of the torches: his face. A mane of bright red hair, combed beautifully. A sharply angled nose. One pale blue filmy eye, the other brown and determined. A decietful smile.

Blind luck. When you were still in school, there was a person who was consistently mean to you. Your family always told you that the monarchy was the best, and you knew it to be true. But this guy frequently spouted anti-royalty slogans and was generally a pain in the arse. But then, one day, he and his mates crippled your Dad. They kicked him off a three-storey building and he fell and dislocated his spine. He was paralysed from the waist down since. On the anniversary of the event, the Prince was visiting where you lived. A new forest was planted around your fairly industrial area, and he was going to concecrate it in nomine deum et principes. On this day, you had planned to kill or at least severely main the anti-royalist. So you're both in the crowd, near the front, you screaming GOD SAVE THE PRINCE and him standing in sullen silence. As the royal carriage passed by, he leapt over the barrier and took from his pocket a pistol. It was then when Amy Wolf made her first kill. You took out the knife you intended to stab him with, and did just that. Three times in the back. As you held his arms behind him with the knife against his neck, the Royal Guard leapt out of the carriage and seperated you and him at gunpoint. You were both made to lie down on the ground with your hands behind your head. The Prince stepped out of the carriage daintily and asked, in his soulful and soft voice, why you interviened in his assassination. You replied thus:
>>
>>33275849
"God save you and bless you, your Highness. I thank you for your presence. I stabbed this man for one simple reason: My knife is the Prince's fist. His words are my words, and I shall follow your Highness to the end. If this subhuman had taken your Highness' life, mine would have no meaning. It is my deepest and only desire to serve you, your Highness."

You were then sent off to Sandhurst that next week.
>>
>>33275950
Huh, we're capable of actually doing something in combat then, at least.

The more there is of this quest, the less I see any similarities with Sora no Woto...
>>
>>33275994
I'm totally aware. The way I 'adapt' something is that I take the vaguest ideas from it that I like, and then change most other things to suit my tastes. For instance, if I were to do a Greek Mythology quest, I'd set it during the 1941 Battle of Greece, have gorgons be a mafioso-style nobility class, whose servants are all blind, and make MC Theseus, a butler to the War-Don Medusa.

Are you enjoying yourself, though, that's the key?

At the moment, in quest, you are unarmed, Dmitri has a knife, you have a captive and you're about to be tortured by a Nice Person.

Dice combat is sketchy at the best of times and it's not been the clearest kind either (like what the last roll was about or whether we even succeeded on it). Plus, no offense, but your combat scenes aren't that great, and at least part of it is a combination of there still not being a lot of reason to care about either the MC or prostitute-kun, and our absolutely abysmal performance so far.

Oh, also the syntax of your updates matching with your regular posts combined with some shorter updates made catching up a bitch. At a glance it was really hard to tell what was a reply to anons and what was an actual update post in the middle there.
>>
>>33276123
Working on an update?
I did like the previous threads even if there were improvements to be made.
>>
>>33276240
I'm sorry. I hope you'll start to care about them more, sooner. I've noticed that people are more likely to care about characters and places they already are familiar with, but I can't really do that because I don't feel I can do justice to anyone else's work.

>>33276292
Should I mark what is a reply and what is update? Because the why-we're-in-the-army was both.

I find character development hard. In a story, it takes me about ten thousand words to properly get comfortable in a character, and as I can't revise what's written here, of course everything's a little rough. Not to mention that this is my first time cooperating on a story with more than zero non-me persons.

Anyway, I digress, back to the quest:

There are several options you see now. You can take Barnabus hostage, but as you're unsure of his relation to Redhair, you don't know whether he's a trusted associate, a brother or just a hired gun. You can hand yourselves in, most likely resulting in agonising death. You can try to kill Redhair. There are many other possible options, but none of them are quite apparent. To remind you. Your inventory is
>a bugle
>fifteen revolver bullets
>£220
>a knife
>some tea
>some cigarettes
>your pretty dress
>your uniform
>the sharp thing sticking out of your shoulder

>What do you do?
>>
>>33276490
Wait, how can we do shit? Didn't we just get disarmed, knocked down, and surrounded?
Just run away, not that I expect it to work.
>>
>>33276532
Run where, and how, with a throwing knife stuck in our shoulder, and a guy with our gun trained on us.
Running away is just plain stupid since the men are in the room, at the front door, and the back door is locked.
>>
>>33276532
>>33276595
Do you guys want to surrender?
>>
>>33276490
Well in this case it's less a case of lacking character-development or characterization ENTIRELY, and more that I just don't connect with or like any aspects of their characters so far. Our MC kinda comes off as an incompetent, paranoid bitch so far. Prostitute-kun is like a damsel in distress that was shoved onto us, and also kinda bitchy. And your world-building and backstory has just been generally unpleasant, be it the asshole receptionist, the thug talking about raping us, the whole prince back-story from a couple of posts ago...
The amount and quality of content isn't that bad, though not stand-out either. It's just all kind of entirely unappealing to me.
>>33276614
I don't really care...
>>
>>33276614
No, I don't.
Take the sharp thing out of our shoulder and throw it at the face of the guy who took our revolver.
Tuck and roll to get our revolver, and see about shanking a man in the kidneys.
Dmitry has our knife, he can try to fight one of the men as well.

Or if we surrender, will we find ourselves in a room where we can later try to escape?
Why wouldn't they just kill us here and now?
>>
>>33276614
This is the kind of asspulling I said you were doing.
They said they're going to kill us, they already killed a few people here, and started a fire.
Why wouldn't they just kill us if we surrender?
Any result of surrender that doesn't lead to immediate death is stupid and assumes that the assailants here are incompetent and stupid.
>>
>>33276664
I apologise for not making my world happy thus far.

Roll for fort save. 1d20+5 DC13 not to pass out from the pain

>>33276724
The leader just implied that he wasn't going to immediately kill you.
>>
Rolled 6 + 5

>>33276776
Fort save.
>>
Rolled 5 + 5

>>33276776
Well, let's see then.
>>
>>33276776
>The leader just implied that he wasn't going to immediately kill you.
And that's what makes this an asspull and an example of plot armor.
Why the fuck doesn't he just kill us? To torture us for his own amusement?
Then why was one of his goons so quick to finish us off?
>>
>>33276800
>>33276802
Yeah, that's about par for this thread...

>>33276845
They just implied they were gonna rape us, anon.
>>
>>33276855
>They just implied they were gonna rape us, anon.
The receptionist girl was better looking.
It just makes more sense for them to kill a person that could be trouble than to keep them around.
>>
>>33276905
It's not about looks, it's vindictiveness, revenge, power.
We showed we could hurt them, and did a little. So they want to overpower us as comprehensively as possible, show themselves and us that it was just a fluke.

You grab at the knife in your shoulder. The handle is cool and textured, rough, like the tongue of a cat You form a fist around it and wrench. The pain fills you. Trickling at first, from the corner of your body but suddenly a river coursing through you. The world around you is getting brighter. A distorted voice says, "Look, she's falling asleep."
You do.

Your dreams are feverish and glaring You see a fortress on a hill. You see giant spiders. You see angels. Not some bullshit pretty-boys-with wings. Radiant creatures, with six lustreful appendages, covered in thick white matting. Circling, hiding its face.
"Qdsh. Qdsh. Qdsh!" it shouts. Each at a different volume, each differently. You need to vomit, to fall. You are dragged downwards, like a bomb deep deep into the earth.

Your eyes open. Dmitri lies next to you. Sun rises warmly over Moorheith. The hotel lobby is trashed. You look around yourself and see that Barnabus is nowhere to be found. Forunately, your clothes are on. Dmitri is covered in bruises, and his skin is effulgent in the sunlight. Why haven't they killed you yet? Outside, shadows on the cobbles circle. You look back to Dmitri, and he is naked. You force yourself to sit up and make yourself ask a question that isn't stupid.
"What happened?"
"I guess I am a whore now.", he says, quietly. "They used me, and paid me with my life."
"What's the time?"
"It's about eight, we can still get on the train, now."
"Should we do that?"
>Should we?
>>
>>33277081
Really?
Yeah, I don't think this quest is for me. Good luck from here on, OP!
>>
>>33277119
Welp, okay.
>>
>>33277144
Sorry, I'm just really not interested in a quest with rape.
Plus on a much less important note I was still hoping he was a reverse trap. Though I'd have dropped it either way after last update.
>>
>>33277212
Oh, you're that guy. Right. Thanks anyway for playing.
>>
>>33277229
Ah, I'm not that guy actually, I just shared his sentiments. Not sure if they're around tonight.
>>
I guess we'll be closing down shop at this end, unless someone else wants to play. G'night y'all. I'll lurk for a while.
>>
They call me Turtletron Ultrafag.
