OPENING
>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F468us4qCUE

Previously: Cerulean arrived upon a mysterious island after a mission to rescue shipwrecked personnel had gone awry due to mysterious humanoid monsters.

Meeting the natives, Cerulean found aid in the form of a humanoid monster by the name of Kurojo, a tusked Kahkori of Kakarkiko island.

With his and his uncle's help, she had been reunited with Marine, her friend from training and childhood.

After killing a fierce foe reviled by Kahkori, Cerulean fell ill, and was given a cure by Kurojo. In the village, she learned of a strange ability and found herself able to utilize "Aura."

Journeying with Kurojo, Cerulean and Marine make it to the joint city of races amongst the island chain. It is there in Raguna city that she fights to the death with a rambunctious Smolderan.
Slipping out of her right mind, she executes her foe with absolute certainty, earning her some recognition with a Smolderan leader and the right to engage in a hunting exam at his request.

Cerulran takes a test with another species known as the Araraki, an infallibly polite and timid representative of her people.
Upon completing the hunt, they are put through a naming ceremony and engage in some festivities, taking a somewhat heavier turn as Akabaron, Vi-Smohkan of the Smolderan, goes over his deal with Cerulean.

Charter the construction of a boat with Kurojo's aid...

That is a very appropriate image, and a very good comic.

It's my running theory that it's just a bit of psychological damage from too-intense training.

It represents the skills acquired during the times that were too bad for us to remember.

There's enough on Ceru's plate as it is. Schizophrenia/D.I.D is not helping.

You should of known what kind of guy that anon was. You shouldn't have bothered talking to him in the first place.

Your bandages are changed and cleaned in the morning, everyone eats breakfast in a tentative peace. At the Araraki's return, Nala doesn't even look at her. You're a bit hesitant to give any word either, especially after the Araraki's words last night.

The dome is evil... You still don't understand why she'd say that when she can't possibly know anything about your home but... You remember the feel of her spirit. Earnest. She really just wants the best for others, no matter what she says.

It's strange, and there's still something of a lingering turmoil within you, especially after last night.

A dew hangs on the air, a cool and tepid wind blowing down into the dugout. The Araraki sits out of the way, holding her bladed staff across her lap, legs crossed and apparently meditating.

Marine eyes the girl, and you feel kind of awkward about the whole situation. The blood on the Araraki's dress is gone, she must've washed it off, but she still reeks of it. Now that you think of it, she almost smells like a Narga-Kage.

The monster's corpse rests outside, Nala says that she's going to report its death to the village.
Nothing else much to do but heal until the ship's ready to leave.

It's not like it's some cursed item you can just toss away. It's literally PTST + a split personality.

As you slowly chew a juicy sitrus berry, your eyes linger on the Araraki after Nala's departure for the village. She gave the lizard a harsh eye and told Marine to watch after the injured, you and jojo, but you think she may have been talking to the Araraki too.

“Hey.” You say, coughing a bit as the sitrus juices run down your throat. A bit sweet, yet sour. You see her shift, acknowledging your word, “Where'd you go last night?”

“Yes. I wonder.” Marine chimes in, her usual giddy, platonic smile.

Araraki snorts a little bit, turning her head to the side, the shadows of her mask amplified by the morning light seeping into the Hunter's Barrow. “We... ah... We scared. Hide.”

“In the wood?” You raise a scrutinizing eyebrow. No, that doesn't sound right at all.

“Y-yes. Wood safe. We like wood.”

“There are monsters in the wood.” You scrunch up your eyebrows, “How is that any safer?”

“If she's scared, she's scared Ceru. She's just an Araraki.” Kurojo pops an oran into his beak. You were happy to find them out here too... Something familiar. These ones are bigger and juicier though.

The Araraki doesn't respond to that, she just sits there, keeping to herself. You get up, and Marine's at your side to help you walk right away,”Hey, hey. Easy Ceru... You're still hurt pretty bad.”

“I thought it was white.” You tease.

“Yeah...”

“Thanks Marine.” You say and she clears her throat,”Ultra-Marine.”
She smiles.

You sit down across from the Araraki, on the dirt floor, conscious of your damage as you do so,”It's alright, you can tell us. If we're still going to work together, we need to know what we're doing and why. We were counting on you and you went of by yourself. We have a right to know.”

Kurojo oversees the conversation, but doesn't participate, instead sipping at some water from a cup.
>>
“C'mon...” You lean over, wincing at the pain inside your body, reaching out to the Araraki with your good arm, for her shoulder. She lets you touch it, even if she does shift away just a little.

“We tell you.” You begin to brighten up, “If White stays. No Glass City.”
You frown.

“No. You need to tell us. If you don't want Nala to know, we won't tell. Is that okay?”

She shifts a little bit her scaled hand finding itself at a place beneath her robe. “Busywork. We do... No tell. We tell.”

“Okay.”

She lifts her robe, showing you a swollen sac belted to her waist. You'd estimate that it must weigh at least a couple kilos given by how it sways and impacts with her shifting. There's three.
“We took.”

“What's in there?” You ask, and she unhatches the bronze clasp, revealing an egg that seems to swallow light like a black hole. It's as dark as the Narga-Kage's hi- “You didn't.”

“We did.”

“What was that blood?”

She clasps it shut again, this time she doesn't answer, and looks away again.

“Is that bad or something?” You whisper, trying to look her in the eye. It's hard to get a read on her with that mask... Her Aura's pretty stable. Earnest as always, well meaning. Though a bit fearful... just not of you.

She looks to Jojo, inclining her head further as she readjusts herself with the eggs on her belt. “Kahkori like to smash.”

“And those eggs should be. I saw what kind of monster it becomes. They kill Kahkori.”Jojo interjects, yet doesn't rise from his seat. He's in no condition for fighting anyway.

“Child should live.” The Araraki defends, shuffling you off as she moves to a more defensive position. “For balance.”

“What are you going to do with it?” Kurojo's eyes narrow, his beak halfway open into a grimace.

She doesn't answer,”Sorry. Mistake.” She casts her robes over, and begins to leave.

“Wait!” Marine cries out, reaching out for the Araraki. She stands before everyone now, looking between the halted lizard in her retreat and Kurojo. “Hey, they're just eggs right? Maybe they want to keep them as pets or something. Maybe she wants to sell that. I mean, monsters are dangerous but it's no reason for us to fight, right? We're all alive and everything.. A bit scuffed up, but, we're alive. Isn't that fine then?”

“That blood. What did you fight?” You ask the Araraki past Marine.

“...Mother.” She says and Kurojo's beak drops, eyes widening in surprise and disbelief.

“How.” He says. “How did you...”

The Araraki inclines her head lower again, only the top of her mask and hood available now. “Sorry. Mistake... Can... We keep?”

We keep out of it.

>>33154595
Heh.

Kinda interested in having one too. It would be an interesting experiment, anyway.

>>33154675
That's inadvisable. If Nala knew there was a mother, she might suspect the nest. We don't know how much is known about the Araraki's culture, so it might make it difficult to hide the eggs.
>>
>>33154675
Because double the dead bodies means double the loot.

Also, the Araraki should get some credit, even if her teamwork is lacking.
>>
>>33154697
>so it might make it difficult to hide the eggs.
Which is what the Araraki wants to do.

Since being impartial is what we want to be here, the Araraki wouldn't agree to showing the nest if she thought it would hurt her chances of keeping the eggs hidden.
>>
>>33154697
Technically, Nala would only know that it had a mate, not that they had laid eggs. And Smolders can't detect lies.

Also, how did the eggs not break when Nala tossed the Araraki around? Is she stashing them somewhere?
>>
>>33154723
We could raise the subject.

Also one thing we should mention is that the Araraki should probably do something about the smell. Once Nala calms down, she might be able to sniff the eggs out.

Smolders have good noses, right?
>>
>>33154731
>Technically, Nala would only know that it had a mate, not that they had laid eggs. And Smolders can't detect lies.

>>

I'll answer this one. They rely more on vision and hearing. Scent is something that they can't much use due to the fact that their homeland has effectively been a pile of ash for a rather long time.

>>
>>33154859
You're right. I'll put in the question about the corpse.

But I need confirmation as to whether you ask for an egg or not.
>>
>>33154832
I'd like to know where the mother is. Or, at least, her body.

Having one of the eggs would be cool too. Either as the dome's first foray into taming a dangerous creature. Or parts (in case that fails).
>>
We will name him Rocket and pet him and hold him and squeeze him and love him, won't we George?
>>
>>33154832
>[] Ask about the mother's corpse.
I definitely do not want one of those eggs, even if we could train one, it will be a GIANT pain in the ass. Even if we got through the incredibly hard obstacle course of keeping it hidden, managing to not get anyone killed, and getting it to listen to our commands, we would still have this huge fucking monster to take care of.
>>

>>
>>33154832

I'm thinking, the Araraki has 3 eggs, right? Ask her to split it between the 3 of us (her, Ceru + Marine, Kurojo). Kurojo can do as he wish with the egg. Smash it if he wants. Equality, you know?

You look at Kurojo and he returns your gaze,”Ultramarine's right. We shouldn't be fighting about this.” Turning to the araraki, “What about the Mother's body? Is there anything that we could salvage?”

The Araraki shakes her head,”Mother not dead. Injured. She look for us last night.” The Araraki gives a tired sigh, settling down a little bit.

“You... didn't kill it.” Kurojo settles down a little bit, his state of belief mended, “If she'd taken one down alone... But to be able to run from it...”

“We asked trees.” She fiddles with her fingers nervously, “They helped. Here is good. Like old home.” There's a bit of loss in her words, but she doesn't follow up there. You respect that.

“So, you... Last night?” It dawns on you. “You were... running from it?”

The Araraki nods. “If we stay. She find. No more problem. That why mistake. Sorry.”

I dunno. I think the smolders would think that's actually pretty boss, and see how things will develop.

>>
>>33155842
We are NOT the first people here to think of taming monsters.

>>
>>33155842
Oh, the practice of taking monsters as pets has happened before, I'm sure. Kurojo thought to steal an egg before so he'd have his own flying mount.

“The Mother's alive? Shouldn't we do something about it?” You begin to rise until you're aware of your own condition and painfully aware that the team is in no condition to fight one of those things, let alone while it's mad and in it's own terrain.
“What SHOULD we do?” You ask everyone, though primarily Jojo. He's good for answers.

His brow furrows, and he rubs at a tusk in contemplation, likely some gesture from his old man. You've seen him do this before. “We should tell the village. Or at least the guild. If we tell the guild they can send in a fresh team.” With a sigh, he shakes his head, “We're going to need longer to recover, right?”

You nod, sorely touching your mutilated, yet healing arm. It's got some ways to go. Compound fractures, the flesh is still flayed to ribbons. You can feel it.

The four of you spend the remaining time recuperating and resting.

At some point, your mind wanders to the eggs. What the Araraki'll do to them, what she has planned... Maybe... “Could I have one... maybe?” You ask out of the blue, pointing at the Araraki's leather skirts,”An egg.”

“White. No.” Jojo states firmly, arm crossed under the injured.

Hey, you guys realize that he stops counting votes after a while, right? Usually after the first two or three minutes?
>>
>>33156248
It really isn't.
>>
How about a new topic of discussion?

What would be a good way to start weeding out the index thief suspects?
>>
>>33156289
He should announce something to that effect.
A vote cutoff would be useful.
>>33156286
Eh, everyone who does intentionally dumb votes like the egg thing samefags. They did it for the previous egg vote, they're trying to do it for this one.

I wonder why Prof still encourages these "awesome" options.

Then, all we have to do is keep asking questions and we'll arrive at the truth.
>>

In a better world, your vote would be taken and considered, used for good purpose and counted equal to it's peers.

But alas, the world is corrupt and wretched; those who cling to such naive honor fall into the depths of not-mattering, without so much as a sound.

People were suspicious the araraki did it, because she was hiding stuff (turned out to be the eggs), but now it seems like Lord Hao did it.

I base this assumption off of the description for this session that Ygg (supposedly) already put in the archive. Pic related

If I ever run a quest, I'm going to encourage everyone to samefag, because at least then I know that the things that get more powerfully samefagged probably have more people behind them.

As for this quest, samefagging isn't allowed though, so I don't do it.

“I can't do that. You know that.” You admit, with a labored sigh. Marine gives you a sidelong look, smiling but not saying anything.

The Araraki turns away again. No one else really talks after that. You and Kurojo take a nap, letting your bodies recover.

It's later into the noon when you awake and Nala's returned. You report to her about the possibility of another Narga-Kage. She says that the Guild will take care of it. The contract was only for one.

Kurojo seems to dislike that to an extent, though he doesn't say anything. He's well aware of the score.

After a few days, your arm's well enough to move a bit, if not a bit stiffly, and Kurojo's left with a blot of scar-tissue, though the bone inside still troubles him, as does his broken blade.

“It was too long... Maybe if I had it reforged into two swords?” He muses about as he looks at the pieces.

The five of you board, and the Araraki's maintained her silence. Nala's resolved to not tell the village. The Araraki had left the hunter's camp every night to give the Narga-Kage a chase. She's seemed notably tireless... You also haven't seen her eat or drink anything. Ever.

Without word from the village of further attacks you embark with the same captain that brought you to this island, the monster's spoils down in the cargohold.

Nala stays below just like before. Out of curiosity, you went to check on her, and you found her purging into an iron bucket, briskly carried away by a ferrine, to be dumped somewhere...
She looked sick as an Eevee. Did you do anything to help her?

You gave Nala a backrub on the ship. She was skeptical at first, but you told her that it was a remedy you learned back at the village. She had to take her armor off, and you could see how scarred she was. The guild mark was emblazoned upon her shoulder, like yours.

As you went to work, the two of you talked and you felt like you got to know her a bit better.

You asked about her scars and she had a story for each one.

A claw-shaped mark going across her shoulderblade was from a scuffle with a male from when she was younger.
Starburst marks across her back were from an accident with an explosive, the shrapnel was painful to get out.
And she talked about some of her adventures, halting at certain sensitive bits.

You get the feeling that she's a little regretful about something, though you can't quite place what.

She handled the rest of the ride better than before, though not by much. She still stayed below deck.

When Raguna city comes into view, you can tell something's going on. It's been just over a week, and it appears transformed.

High up on the cliff where Lord Hao's estate looks over the city, there are bright and colorful decorations(moreso than usual) and the dock's got a great many ships gathering, filling the pier to the brim, many dockworkers and other tradesman running around, preparing for something big and grand.

When the ship comes in, someone on the dock runs off quickly, leaping their way from the docks to buildings and disappearing into the city.

What was that about?

Disregarding that strange person, a kahkori, that is. You head to the guild hall and report the success of your mission to the agent.

As you walk tthrough the city, you notice that you and Marine catch far more eyes than before. There are also so many more stands with little games. You see a kahkori child catching tiny little fish with a breakable net, and many other citizens walking around in far more formal and outright gorgeous garb. There are hunters here and there partaking in festivities, primarily food. They're done up in what you might call “formal” armors, though they're just as bulky, and intimidating, most of them anyway.

Marine tugs at your tail and points out some of the stands, simply thrilled at some of the vendor stalls. Cute little trinkets and other knick knacks, some monster parts even being sold for good luck, health, and fertility. You tell her to pay attention, you've got a report to make.
“Nala, what's going on here anyway?”

“This? This is called a festival.”

“What's a festival?” You ask, honestly never seeing anything like this before outside of the gaming centers in Celadon. Rangers weren't really allowed there, you haven't been since you were little.

“Everyone has fun, lots of games are set up. There's some kind of a parade. Hao has a fancy party or some other event, it ends, and then we're stuck with cleanup. It looks like it's still just starting though. Big part for us is that there's usually something big or unusual that he wants hunted, I swear, if we missed that...”

“How long last?” Marine comes in, her eyes simply sparkling. So many foreign games and activities that she'd like to play.
>>
“Around a week, maybe longer. Longest festival lasted around a month so that it got around the islands well enough for everyone to come for at least a few days.”

Jojo clears his throat, rotating his shoulder, feeling for the damage, “Well, if I can just use my hands to fight monsters, I'll join in. That blade might take too long to fix.”

“Easy there Kahk. Still need to report. We'll find out what we're hunting at the guild. Surely they've heard about it.”

“So wait, we're killing for sport?” You ask, actually surprised. Outside of noble luxuries back at the dome, there'd never been a commanded mass killing of anything like -that-

The Araraki snorts. “Lord Hao bad.”

“Thinning population, I rather call it. And watch where you say that Lizard. Some loyal citizens of the empire might take offense, and I'm still pissed about you wandering off on us.”

“We sorry.”

“For the millionth time, Distortion take you.” Nala rolls her eyes, and the rest of you carry on....
Though you are getting a lot of looks.
>>
>>33157589

A) Word of us hasnt gotten around and they recognize Marine isnt from around here.
(This is okay. At least we dont have to worry about random shit happening to us too much.)
>Or
B) Word about us HAS gotten around and people are flock to see us among the other attractions at the Carnivale.
(We MIGHT have a mild Psychotic episode. NOT GOOD).
>>
The guild is an uproar as usual drink everywhere, meat cooking on spits, and a right well amount of happy brothers in arms and profession. Your report to the agent is brief, though they hide whatever surprise they might have of your team's slaying of a Narga-kage well.

“Come, drinks are on me.” Nala beckons you all to a table, though the Araraki respectfully declines.

“No. We go home now. Thank you.” She bows, and hurries off before any of you can object.
You remember the Araraki part of town. It reminded you of pewter. A place where no one goes or stays unless they have to... It's strange too that even though she mentioned the Tuskless favorably before and... Oh. She's hiding the eggs at her home. That's what she's doing...

You nod, and Kurojo pushes you forward, “Come, let's eat, drink, and forget about that lizard and her strange ways.”

Looking back to him, you incline your head and walk forward, heading to a table that Nala just “liberated” from a bunch of other Smolder.

Marine starts drinking the rum and ale. Kurojo starts drinking the rum and ale. Nala starts drinking the rum and ale.

You stare at the amber liquids warily, your nose stinging from the alcohol, and your memory fresh from when you puked up everything after that game with the tiny cups.

You stare at the drink for a time, slowly finding it within you to curl your fingers around the mug. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right? You guzzle down the brews, and Marine cheers.
As it hits your stomach, you feel a not all that uncomfortable warmth spreading through you. As for the taste? It's not quite bad. Not nearly as tongue-burning as those shots.

The four of you live it up for a while, eating and drinking until your bellies are full. At the very least, you manage to not drink a disturbing amount. Still, what was in those shots?

After about a half hour by your lack of watch, you find a familiar, though bit blurry of a Kahkori standing over your table amongst many drunk and rowdy smolders. His eyes squinting into just a line... Oh, it's this snake in the grass. Yasake.

“Greetings Lady White, Ultramarine... Nala” he says that name with a curious flare. “I've come to invite no less than the two of you by my most radiant lord's most grande festival, and to a ball in which you, as newcomers to our lands are guests of honor.”

“Can I kishh 'is rump yet? Err you not done withit?” Marine slurs, waving a mug, spilling drink everywhere.

You laugh, probably louder than you should. As you reign in your mirth, you snort as you snicker,”Marrrrine. Tha'sis job 'member?”

“Ahhhi knowww, but I wanna kissiiiit!” The two of you laugh, stuck in your own little drunken world.

Yasake clears his throat, “Ah yes, the wonders of swill. You may enjoy the fine berrywines my lord has to offer, if you would-”

“Blahhhh!” Marine drawls out.

“Whiiiiiite! Oh Whiiiiiiiiiite!” Jojo caws out to the room, loud and proud.

“Whaaaat?!”

“You looked good... In that dresshh. But you look better in yer armor... Like... Like a real hunter!” He slams his mug down.

Yasake blinks idly, and silently excuses himself,”Ah, I'll be back later when you've all purged or something... Distort this den of such crudeness...”

they're probably just neo-luddites whose belief system was based on a dome destroyed by fierce poketechnical warfare.
>>
>>33158502
Dioxis.
It's originally modeled after a mutated space virus.

Though I think Prof likes fantasy way more than scifi.
>>
>>33158502
I would rather not have to deal with aliens as well as pokemon. Even though Dexoys is technically an alien. I would rather not have us deal with flying saucers and shit like that. Too many cooks...etc.
>>
>>33158526
Possible. Hell, they might have been the poor unfortunates who couldn't even make it to a Dome.

>>33158533
It's been more sci-fi than fantasy so far, though.
>>
>>33158545
No need for aliens with advanced tech. Just aliens (or just alien, singular) like Deoxys who travel through space and spread their M-virus thing.
>>
>>33158548
Just because our favorite word is 'POKESCIENCE' doesn't make it not fantasy.
then again I'm one of those assholes that like to call things like Star Wars 'space fantasy'
>>
>>33158578
>then again I'm one of those assholes that like to call things like Star Wars 'space fantasy''
But it is.
>>
>>33158548
This place has given us a load of theories on how the dome stuff came into place.
SOME big shit went down with the pokeymans and the domes. In character now, not just out of character supposition.
>>
>>33158625
WHat bothers me the most is the fact that in spite of an ENORMOUS amount of evidence to the contrary, the Dome continues to propagate the lie that life beyond the Dome is an utter hell-scape, riddled with horrific monsters. At this point it just seems like Silph is missing out on gigantic opportunities for wealth and powers for nearly no cost. This is baffling.
>>
>>33158990
well, it IS a hellscape in our region.

These people are living in a relatively nice place. They just have superpredators, instead of viral megaplagues and colonies of explosively poisonous insects
>>
>>33158990
Mutation is probably the reason why people settled into the Domes.

And, well, yeah. It IS a hellscape out there. The villages we've been to are safe spots and they're all much too small to support the kind of population the Domes have (if all the Domes are as big as our own).
>>
>>33158990
Except everyone lives in small villages and the largest city we've been to so far seems to be populated mainly by hunters.
>>
>>33159038
>>33159021
What i mean is, why the hell doesnt Silph send out work teams to mine and extract resources from beyond the Dome? There are literally tons of everything just laying around, waiting to be picked clean. All of that money is lying there, not being exploited. And yet nothing.
>>
>>33159076
I think they do, occasionally? I mean, they do send out rangers to acquire goods and such.

It's just it is extremely expensive in terms of lives and manpower to run outside dome operations, so they are rare.
>>
>>33159054
True. It seems in this model of living, EVERYONE has got to be able to fight at least a little.

Which is something we're fighting to avoid.
>>
>>33159076
They do that, though. Poke-parts aren't the only thing that's brought back.

If you're asking why they don't do that en masse, then that would be a lot more troublesome.

The Domes are pretty self-sufficient already, so there's no need to risk manpower, equipment, and resources to get more just for the sake of getting more.
>>
>>33159128
>>33159097
Then why is, "TEH DOME IS SUPOR SEKRIT!!!!" pounded into us from day one, and we aren't given any first contact training like at all? I dont get it.
>>
>>33159159
Because the dome people are the one in the wrong.
>>
>>33159076
Digging = unearthing Gravelers and Golems and Onixes and Steelixes and Sandslashes and god knows what else lurks underneath the soil.

I think they do digging at Pewter anyways, though. Maybe a secure quarry somewhere, possibly with tech that scares away rock types? Very large sprinkler system?
>>
>>33159159
It's not really so much pounded into us as its active state.

It is, quite literally, invisible. We're invisible when we go out. There aren't any intelligences within normal ranger range, as far as we are informed by the indigo reports. They may be modified in the future to account for HIDDEN HYPNO VILLAGE.
>>
>>33159159
We assume the Dome should be kept secret.

There is no first contact training because "first contact" was rather recent in the Dome's history.

The Dome's brass are afraid that, if we're forced into hostile relations with the outside races, the Rangers would hesitate to kill them. It's hard enough that some Rangers are shunned by the normal civvies, after all. Don't need them sympathizing with people who seem to be in the same boat as them.
>>
>>33159180
>>33159187
Then where is this extra trade coming from?
>>
>>33159213
Other domes and away expeditions. Mostly other domes.

And even then, it's a risky proposition.
>>
>>33159159
"First contact" is something that would be reserved for the higher ranking rangers, I believe.

>>33159187
Already states the reasons why the normal rank and file aren't privy to the Indigo Reports. Bad for morale. And it's not as if it's baseless; the Hypno, from our first encounter with one, have blue and orange morality compared to us. 'Course, that guy was banished from Eubrena for a reason, so we shouldn't assume that all the Hypno think it's completely acceptable to brainwash someone into loving you. But it still stands that the Dome doesn't know how to approach the unknown species in a safe manner that's also expedient in developing proper relations.
>>
>>33159213
Kanto Dome was trading with Hoenn Dome. It's pretty dangerous, though. Enough such that half of the Dome wants to cease all trading. Team Magma, you so crazy.
>>
>>33159246
well they DID lose one of their trading ships in a neverending pokestorm just now.
>>
>>33159258
Hey man, it was a freak accident. It's not like you get a giant legendary thunderbird passing over your Dome every other year either, right?
>>
>>33159273
yeah, but freak accidents are great for getting political groundswell.
Heck, losing adorable rangers in the field could be too.
>>
>>33159273
No they just have to deal with sleeping Gods. Look im still utterly confus about hte history behind this stuff. As far as i can tell it went:

1) Humans at peak, have industry and pokeballs and such.
2) Great Disaster. Humanity is fractured/ruptured. Goes into some kind of hiding away from the angry Gods.
3) Indeterminate amount of time.
4) Indeterminate amount of time Humanity somehow get its tech back and Establishes Domes.
5) Present day. We dont even know about all of the Human Domes in the world. Much less ANYTHING outside them apparently.

This is full of holes. Do we even know the Dome's recent history?
>>
>>33159330
I don't know how much of the dome's history we have.

though I think domes existed during the pokedisasters. They may be "bad" because they didn't let the araki in, even.
>>
>>33159367
Did Ceru even go to school before becoming a ranger? Yknow as a daughter of a member of the elite four, id expect to at least go to school and learn even an indoctrinated version of this stuff.
>>
>>33159413
I wonder how much school you can get into a ten year old
>>
>>33159330
Depending on how long ago the Domes were established, Agatha might have personally known what the world was like without the Domes.

Something to mull over. You know. Stuff for us to do once we return to the Dome.
