You all voted on keeping the successor chapter a secret and thus it shall be secret.

You step over the dead guardsmen and see an autocannon team of prisoners laughing and high fiveing each other before picking up the autocannon and moving it some where else. You loo around and see that most of the fighting has gone into the stronghold itself. A couple of prisoners run past you.

>Stop one of them and ask questions.

You begin to look around and find a garage. However, it seems the the prisoners are having a hard time trying to take it. You run over to their position and one of them salutes you.

"Sir, there seems to be a punisher gatling gun inside the garage right now and a full platoon of guardsmen. What should we do?"

>I'll handle it, keep your men back.

Other than these entrances, you cannot find anything else. You look back at your scouts and then back at your two choices. You have five scouts under your command right now with no weapons except for you. What should you do?

I want the scouts to drop in from the roof directly into the guardsman, killing as many as possible.

The scouts begin to scale the pipe and get up on the roof. You ready your boltgun and walk over to the door. You open the door quickly, hoping that it won't make too much noise. It sort of squeaks a little bit before opening all the way. There are a lot of tools inside the room and a door that leads into the garage. You can hear some of the guardsmen in the garage.

"Dammit, I knew rebelling was a bad idea... This shit is too much for me."

"Get your act together, you're in this with us now."

From this carnage, your own scout descend upon the guardsmen and start to rip them to shreds, some of the scouts even enter the leman russ, killing the crew inside. Many of the guardsmen that are still alive scatter only to be met with more bolter fire and lasgun fire. In a single minute, everything that isn't a scout inside the garage is dead. The guardsmen outside start to pour in, cheering and yelling out your chapter's name. One of the new scouts runs over to you and nods.

"You ruined our gift to Papa, you ruined our gift to Papa... I'LL KILL YOU!"

The marine roars at you, as if seeing through the darkness of the garage and any obstacles in his path. The leman russ opens fire, the punisher cannon fills the room with a long, loud BRAP! No matter how good the scouts are at shooting, that marine is now heading towards the garage at full speed.

"The Emperor protects the Righteous"

You smile at Hendrick as he smiles back at you. He looks back to see the sergeant inching his way towards the garage. He looks at you and then tries to give you a thumbs up, but then looks downtrodden when he looks at his arm.

"At least I'll get a servo arm... Let's get the hell out of here and let the guardsmen take care of the rest..."

You nod and get inside of a chimera. One of the new scouts looks at you and nods.

"That's why the pure always triumph over the wicked. I hope to see you in a space marine squad soon."

The ramp closes as the scout squad from before starts to move out.

---

As you drive away from the stronghold you smile to see the renegade flag fall down as a massed amount of guardsmen begin to storm the walls and wave their shirts around. You hear the sounds of Valkyries and a thunderhawk fly by as you hear the familiar sound of rhinos passing by.

"The Righteous Prevail!"

A marine sitting on top of a rhino yells at your chimera. You recognize the voice as Aristol's voice.

"Nameless... You crazy man you..."

You look over to see Sarge smiling a weak smile.

"If it wasn't for you... I'm not sure any of the scouts would have made it out of here alive... You have my thanks and the thanks of your brothers."

>No need, you'd do the same for me.

"You'd do the same for me."

The sergeant seems a little surprised but then softens up a bit.

"I haven't heard your voice in a long while."

---

You finally reach friendly territory and you find a small encampment of friendly guardsmen and marines of your chapter. As soon as you step out of the chimera, guardsmen begin to cheer and holler at your appearance.

"It's the liberator! The Savior of our comrades!"

"We'll win this war for sure now that we have someone like him along!"

You can't help but crack a smile as you exit the chimera. You are then approached by an apothecary and some marines.

"Anyone hurt?"

You point at your sergeant as Emily tries to help him up. With the help of some marines, the sergeant is taken to a medical tent for marines and the apothecary nods at you.

"He will be fine now. I believe you are wanted by our force commander right now. It seems a debrief is in order."

---

You enter the command tent and are greeted by a marine in ornate armor. His cloak reaches his ankles and he carries a massive two handed sword. He looks away from his battle plans and turns to you.

"So, you're the one who took the stronghold with your guardsmen allies?"

>Yes sir.
>Me and my squad, correct.
>It was mainly the guardsmen.

"I see... So you jeopardized our entire campaign to save a broken sergeant and a few scouts, is that it?"

The commander looks at you with a stern look. He seems angry at you for some reason or another.

"What if you failed in your mission? What if your mission only served in aiding the renegades in their defense? Interrogated your or used you in their ritual to summon a greater daemon? You think your heroics are something to be praised? Think-"

Another marine walks in. His armor is battered and worn, his cloak is weathered and torn. Whatever purity seals adorned his chest are either been torn off or have been blasted off.

"Yet he succeeded in taking the stronghold, Anderson. Do we not reward success in our chapter, commander?"

Anderson simply stays silent and grunts, walking past your and the other marine.

"You have to excuse him, he's fairly new to leading a campaign such as this."

The marine stands in front of you and takes off his helmet.

"Aristol speaks highly of you, Nameless. It is nice to finally meet you in person. I am Captain Marshton of the Fifth Company."

Marshton nods at you and walks over to the campaign map.

"What you did in the stronghold was foolish but needed. I doubt we would have been able to fight that battle if a greater daemon appeared to fight us. I thank you Nameless... Now, I must ask, what else did you see in the stronghold?"

"A... Not traitor guardsman... The Inquisition then... Ah, forgive me, I forgot that you need to know what your actions gave us."

He shows you a campaign map and points at the stronghold.

"This stronghold has been the center of a lot of enemy movement, possibly because of the significance it holds to the rebels. Taking this and showing it around will show the cause the enemy to do one of two things. One: Fight harder to retake this fortress, leaving the enemy capital relativly unattended to other than some milita forces inside the hive city. Two: This will cause the enemy to fall back to their capital, allowing us to spread our legs out even more and cut off their supply line once and for all. I thank you, but I must urge you to be more cautious in the future. If you did fail, then your comrades' sacrifice would have been in vain. Please remember this before acting like this again. But, your plan was still successful and I hear you took out your first traitor marine. Congratulations."

Marshton walks over to a small canteen sitting on his desk and takes a sip from it.

"Rest up and get ready to move in a few days. In that time, I urge you to prepare your squad for some more combat... Sergeant. Though this is temporary, think of this as a test of leadership before your... True prize."

>Rank obtained: Sergeant."

>What do you suggest I do now sir?

"Oh hey, before I forget."

Before you leave, Marshton snikers a little bit.

"I hear you got a nickname from the Guardsmen here. I think it was... Savior or something of the sort."

He smiles at you and puts his helmet back on.

"Keep this up and you'll have an entire regiment of admirers, Nameless."

THAT'S IT FOR TONIGHT, FOLKS! SAME TIME TOMORROW!
