You are Risa Schrodinger, and this is the story of how you died. You killed yourself, the end. After that though there was a whole slew of things which you got your ghost finger into, one of them that you didn’t get your fingers in though was a wolf arrancar named Jager which was sort of a buzz kill. Some creepy amp bloke nicked her and sent you on a wild chase through town while he super charged her and then with some slight prompting from your Sin-Fin, whose height will probably change to more accurately reflect her nickname, she became the space battleship Jager. Super space battleship Jager 9. The Wolfstar. The wolfing wolfhood of her chaste wolfly garden. She became a big fucking space ship okay?

“Okay.” You agree as you see squads of interceptors form up around the mother ship.

You tilt your head as the phone in your pants keeps ringing, but you let it slide as you just take a minute to admire the whole grandeur of the giant wolf skull on the nose part of the ship. “Nose part?” You ask. Just roll with it.

You hear the shinigami scrubs panicking but that ringing persists so you finally grumble and answer the phone, “The bloody hell you want? I’m busy and wit your ring ring ringing it is getting on my last nerve you cunt.” You explain.

“Well, that is certainly a cheerful greeting. I was just wondering if it all turned out alright.” Mendel explains but before you reply she continues. “Actually that was just a false formality used in polite conversation. I forgot you are awful at all that so let me rephrase. I see there is a giant space ship with a lot of guns flying over Japan right now. You going to take care of it or shall I?” Mendel asks.

“Oh acting like you had no hand in it. Jager went all Jager 9 because of your nonsense and now you are casually acting like you will come swooping in to save the day? This is why I hate you, you know.” You explain and Mendel hums in thought.

“That isn’t actually why you hate me. Certainly there are some parts of you which hate me for whatever mental instability makes you think I am responsible for crayons not tasting like the colour they claim to be but I am fairly certain there is a much simpler reason you hate me.” Mendel explains and you hear the tapping of a pencil on a very nice redwood desk. I took a summer at a desk factory, I know my pens on desks.

“Oh? And why is that then?” You ask annoyed.

“Well, we could certainly sit here gabbing on like a couple of housewives, but isn’t that what got you into this situation in the first place? Not paying attention to Jager, I mean.” Mendel points out. “I am sure there will be time for this discussion later.”

You are about to say something snarky back but Mendel hangs up on you. You carefully push the off button on the device and put it away in your inventory. “Not paying attention. I can pay attention.” You grumble as if she were still there. “Pay so much attention you will choke on it you daft cunt.” Hey, we should bring back the Inverness. That would be a good look on you.

“The Inverness? Like Sherlock Holmes wore?” You ask as Risa-Fin walks up behind you.

I think you would look rather dashing myself. Start a whole new trend it will. You are about to sketch out some concept art when Risa-Fin smacks your backside, shaking you out of your momentary tangent. “Oh, right, that Jager thing.” You say.

“Too right the Jager thing. Kraut lost her abs, those were her best parts. Those and her melons. Why she got tits when she has abs?” Risa-Fin asks tilting her head.

What if it's because of her abs?

Mind=blown

But seriously, we should probably take care of that before the angels get pissed or she kills a bunch of people and gets all sad.

[] Nah, let her off some people. You need to formulate plans and such.
[] That will make her sort of extra grumpy, and we don’t like a grumpy jager. Attack to pull her out!

I just realized something.

Why don't we ever use gravity to fling people around like toddlers in a washing machine? The vast majority of people don't have actual flight or anything that would work remotely well in an area of highly fluctuating gravity.

They almost all do that thing where they harden the air under their feet by using go-juice. That shit would get horribly fucked up if gravity is shifting all over wonky stonky.

“Right, well then.” You say sending energy into your wings.

“Oi, where the bloody hell you off to then?” Risa-Fin asks, her accent getting better.

You look at her and point up at the space ship which causes her to put her hands on her hips. “I am going to the space ship. Super jager bombs yeah. Trying to find her way home.” You sing the jager ship 9 theme song.

“Why would you want to do that then? You know where its vents are then?” She asks. Sin-Fin never watched star wars. I don’t like this situation.

“Well, I was thinking I could go up there and laser everything until it stops looking funny.” You say. “Then maybe get a snack somewhere I am a bit hungry actually.” I will keep an eye out for a vending machine.

“Fine, we will give you a hand then.” Risa-Fin says her back filling with inky black parodies of your wings.

“Actually could you go get a team together? Take care of the interceptors and the like; just grab Shiba and some other useful people and be helpful. You lot have sort of been dropping the ball as of late.” You explain.

“Look, I don’t do machines. Or let them do me really, don’t like the cold on my nethers. Fine then, I’ll get a team. A team so team like you can choke on it.” She says. Man that’s a good line.

“Oi! Scaly butt! Come up here we got a job to do!” Sin-Fin shouts looking around for her compatriots.

Right, that’s that then. You fly up into the air and keep flying. You tilt your head as you add your sonido to the flight and really push it, why did she have to make her ship so bloody high up? The ship gets bigger as you approach until you finally realize it is sort of massive. Why would anyone need a ship that big? The ship is over a kilometer long, and bristling with turrets and guns.

You look around for a way in, but as you approach a cannon turns and fires at you. The round of super dense energy coating a shell made of the same material as her spears slams into you sending you spinning back. The intercepts seem to notice you and a squad of them cuts through the air to engage you.

They are, well, sort of crab shaped but not really? Like metal upside down V’s with swept forward wings and no particular cockpit you can see. The automated things begin firing balas at your from their prongs. You put up your shield and kick one of them right down the middle, separating it in two. You grab the wings and sonido around the attack path of the interceptors then throw the first one. It flies through the air like some sort of Frisbee and smashes into one of the passing drones. You spin in the air and throw the other one behind you, the spinning blade easily finding its mark and exploding for some reason.

You fly back up and finally notice something odd which you did not quite pick up on before. You feel like you are swimming in a sea of electronic information, data being swapped back and forth. The interceptors fly back into the ship and you hear something similar to grinding as you pause just shy of the distance you were shot at last time.

You see the interceptors start to fly out again, this time with radically redesigned movements. They pause in mid air and seem to move in three dimensions really easily. Jager-bots have wi-fi, good to know. Not that you know what wi-fi is mind, but they do.

You fly forward and suddenly the ship’s guns turn towards you and begin firing relentlessly. You have to shapeshift rapidly as you fly through the messy assault, trying to find some way to not get totally offended by Jager’s new found need to put distance from you. Does she not like you, you wonder. Maybe you should try giving a bit more skinship, really cement the deal.

You wonder if that is a good idea just as the interceptors form a wall above you, evidently unrestrained by gravity much like you are. You get ready to throw up your energy shield when a spike stabs into your leg, draining your go juice slightly. You grumble as you kick it off of you and then sonido down, getting away from the steel rain. Jager rain.

You look over at the ship and see you are about a third of the way to it, having to quickly avoid the drones which seem to be able to compensate for your speed when it comes to firing while at the same time avoiding her big ass cannons.

She is still charging.

You press on, the trail of solid projectiles chasing after you making you very, very nervous as you can smell the vampiric nature of them as they fly by you. You roll into the small gaps between the bullets for fractions of a second before quickly slithering to the next safe zone as the previous one gets filled with a giant cluster of fuck you.

You see a chance as Jager 9 deploys more of her interceptors, these with large chain-guns on them which you are pretty sure are designed just for you, and fly through a perfect gap without issue! You land on the Launchpad and fire a few ceros into the hanger bay. The violet explosion takes out the foul machines as you launch yourself bodily into the smoking ruins, happy to be inside now.

“INTRUDER DETECTED. DEPLOYING WELCOMING PARTY” A voice cries out.

Right, a welcoming party, what is the worst that can happen? You back flip away from several spikes which are launched at you from a mech within the doorway. You look up and see your old buddy JAGER 4, thought this time it seems sort of all the pissed at you. It jumps down but you spare no time in kicking at the exposed joint work. It topples slightly and you dig your claws into the “head” of the machine and straining.

You feel a few rounds slam into your abdomen but don’t have time to pull them out as they start sucking up your go juice and probably feeding it to the main cannon if we are being realistic here. You throw the Jager bot over your head and fire a stream of ceros which shatter the armor and send it spiraling out of the ship.

You don’t have any time for this nonsense, you think. You dreamwalk past them into the hallway beyond and right into the face of another machine. This one looks much lither, with harsh angles and layers of plating which make it look sort of like a humanoid wedge. You consider it for a moment and that moment is all it needs. You feel sensual pain echo through you as its chest pieces peel back and fire tiny vampiric spikes into you, like buckshot or something. You start regenerating them out of you as you grab the slick machine and throw it into the hangar where you came, connecting with the Jager 4.

You fire off a cero, but the wedge machine slices it in two before extending its arms like they were coiled inside. The arms slice through the hanger door as you slam it behind you, then the folded plating peels back to reveal more ports. You sonido away as missiles launch out and after you.

You try and put some distance from the evil machine as you run down the cool, futuristic hallway. You ignore doors and turns, trying to get a smell for where you are in- vending machine. “What?” You demand as you keep your pace.

Go back, there was a vending machine. You sonido back to where I said the vending machine was and sure enough there is in fact one there. You pause to consider this, but don’t look a gift horse in the mouth. Oh, get me a G7.

You eat your snack and you realize that all of the ship smells the same, it all smells like Jager. You need something better than just randomly running around.

Not sure if the bridge would be the way to go here. This may also correspond to JAGER-9's sudden increase in energy capacity while Jager was being souped up by Amp.

“Let’s go to her core.” You say getting up and tossing your chocolate snack into the bin. “The problem is Jager isn’t in charge here, it is the not Jager we have to worry about.”

Right, so you sniff the air to try and find the power line, trying to find the direction it is feeding from. You get a lock on it and take a step down the hall when the metallic coverings lining the long hallway all pop out, revealing small guns on mechanical arms, all locked and loaded. “Well. That’s disappointing” You say before you sonido down, the guns firing nonstop and tearing chunks of you off as you press onwards.

You make good time, not stopping to break stuff, and finally throw open the door to the engineering room. You crumple in and quickly shut the door behind you and then roll forward as massive spikes punch through the door itself.

You regenerate your meat parts and slip up into the rafters like batman might and get a look of your surroundings. The core is surrounded by Jagerbots you don’t recognize, with computers spitting out data which the service bots seem to understand. Floating in a sphere of raw energy is Jager, her body back in perfect condition due to whatever magical repair programs they have in space ships. She twitches slightly and you think you see an image flash on the computer screen, but it is gone before you can get a good look at it.

Around the core, on metal walkways and scanning every inch of the room, are more Jager Mechs. You are not certain what kind they are but they are not the chicken walker or the wedge. These seem to be heavier, a few meters tall, and with a staggering amount of ordinance on them. You are not certain if they know you are here or not. What do you do?

You need to get to those computers. I have no idea why though, you are sort of rubbish at computers. “What? Is this because I’m a girl? Because I don’t have a tube steak I can’t be good at machines? Are you oppressing me monologue? Are you afraid of my femaleness?” You ask.

What? Me being afraid of femaleness doesn’t even make sense. “ It would make sense if you were afraid of yourself. If I was bad at computers it would be in the pastebin.” You complain. Not everything is in the pastebin, and stop reading through them. You are bad at technology because you grew up in an age where you could be bad at technology and be fine, plus this is like some star trek level shit right here. Also, wait, am I a chick? I thought I was just words to you.

“I had a PhD” You point out, ignoring the rest of the question as you start to sneak over the computer.

In physics which, in case you haven’t noticed, seems to have been drinking ever since you died! “I like to think it is in mourning.” You counter as you look over the computer console.

You nod at the controls as if you know what you are doing, and tilt your head this way and that. None of the buttons are labeled in anything you can recognize, but you think you see a seven in the corner there. You push it and suddenly seize up as violent energy is sent streaming through you. An alarm klaxon starts blaring and you see a weird metallic powder fill the room.

You cough as it gets everywhere and the machines all turn to you despite your cloaking. “INTRUDER DETECTED. DESTROYING.”

A salvo of missiles streak through the air and where they explode they end out more spikes after you. You sonido over to one of the robots and try to kick it but a massive fist slams into you, punching you into the ground.

You got this, you think. You sonido over to the large machine and leap so you can reach its chest. You spin back and deliver a strong kick to it making it take a step back. It swipes at you and you skirt around the blast, landing on the large arm. You run up it to the robot’s head and deliver another kick to the robot jaw. You feel the dense metal send a reverberation through your legs which shakes your teeth, and you take a moment to enjoy the sensation.

But it is a moment the robot doesn’t waste. It assumes s Muay Thai stance and delivers an earth shattering elbow which rockets you over the room, and into the wall. You slump for a moment to get your bearings as another of the robot’s points his hand at you. You see a perfect circle of light start to spin on his open palm and you quickly remember to put up your shield as a high density laser carves away at the wall behind you.

You reflect part of the blast back at the machine as the Muay Thai robot performs a low kick sending you flying through the air once more. “They want to play big, do they? Alright then, Risa can play big.”

As you impact with the wall, you let it seem as if it smushed you for a moment. Then, where you impacted, a spear of flesh and teeth shoots out like a geyser, then sinks back against the wall as if you just splashes into some strange ocean. You let your shapeshifting run wild and form a pus filled tumor on the wall which bursts as the robots approach and sends a lance of spear out.

The laser bot burns it away but it give you enough time to start your horror show, thick dripping entrails surge up like a macabre dress as you smile wide, too wide for your mouth. Your cheeks split as your tongues flop out, tiny mouths on them screaming in agony. You surge forward and rave your claws over the armor of the martial arts robot. It accepts it before a small port opens and fires vampiric spikes into you, siphoning your energy away to the ship. You tear off your flesh where they impacted and discard it before letting out a raging howl and firing a cero at the pair.

The Muay Thai robot charges his own balm laser and swings. It connects with your cero sending sparks of energy all over the room, but after a moment the cero is deflected to the side and explodes against the wall. You blink, shocked such a thing could happen, before one of your tails warps below him and bites his robot ankle, holding him in place and hopefully crippling him.

We may need some really high rolls to finish these guys off quick, or else try to disrupt the flow of power to the ship and attempt to free Jager. As things stand, they just need to be tanky and hit us with enough vampiric spikes to deplete our go-juice. Though hastily disconnecting Jager may carry risks of its own.

You keep on fighting the robots, deciding that his is the best use of your time at the moment. You slide forward, your intestines propelling you along like some sort of macabre ballerina except you have no idea what that is. You swing wildly and split your arm into separate parts which quickly wrap around the robot. It throws up a shoulder guard which catches the brunt of the impact as you detonate the separate ribbons of your meat.

The robot goes skidding back just as the second fires a stream of focused “fuck you” energy at you which you slip around, your shield not quite as likely as you would suspect to take it all. You weave around the carving path of destruction and bite into the laser bot’s midsection. Your teeth vibrate like a saw to tear into the machinery and you think you are going to make it all the way through when a knee and elbow slam into your head like you were caught between a pair of sledgehammers.

Your teeth break off in the bot and you just leave them, the Muay Thai robot apparently already recovered from your lashing as he chains together a flurry of blows which forces you to rock back. You have to measure your steps, his striking blows hard to dance around in your larger form but at least it gives you good practice for your martial arts.

Ugh. It seems like we're doing significant damage to the bots, but not at a great enough rate to kill them in a timely manner. Even with pretty high rolls, we're getting pretty badly thrashed. Laserbot is covering Muay Thai bot pretty well, and Muay Thai bot is doing a pretty good job of beating us to paste.

Though breaking the machine could cause an overload or something. Not a whole lot of good choices here.

You decide to ignore the robots and focus on the ship itself. You sonido over to Jager's area and after a quick inspection you conclude that it probably runs on some sort of spirit based electricity magic stuff. You have no idea what it is this runs on. You fire a cero below Jager and start to tear up the floor, running circles around her device.

You think you see a sort of important looking wire when you get send flying back from a strong kick. Your head is twisted on the wrong way, so you sink it into your chest and extend your fingers to crawl along the ground and fire lasers out of your entrails.

You scurry away from a laser blast which doesn’t penetrate the floor, due to some weird spirit power logic, and slam your tails against the ground. You cut violent gouges out of the floor and the room starts to fill with weird gasses and ambient energy. You push yourself off the ground as the robot tries to smash your head into the ground. You sprout teeth and claws along your body, then charge up with cero energy and start to spin. You launch yourself at the floor as you get up to speed and get some good depth to it before you detonate and take more of the inside with you, and sending you scattering to pieces.

As you try to regenerate the robots keep up their assault pounding and lasering you constantly as forcing you to run as you regroup. You throw out some weak ceros before looking over your damage and find you made a good dent in it, but it is still not enough to get Jager out of the room.

>>
>>33115631

Probably not. Even so, with as much energy it's storing, the absolute best-case pity scenario is that it spools down and has to go through a lengthy reboot sequence before it can fire again.

Or the OS suffers a critical exception and thinks that there's an ammo-load error, and needs physical ammunition to be loaded into a nonexistent ammo port before the cannon can fire.
>>
“You lot are sort of quick to raise the white flag, ain’t you? You French?” You ask as you deposit a fatebreaker into the payphone called hate engine.

You start vibrating a little as time parts wibble and wobble through you in a way which sort of turns you on, but then you lose your train of thought and it is gone. You see the robots moving slower, but you ignore them as you start to morph and mutate your body into an abomination. You dig and scrape at the floor to try and get out of the place. You fire cero after cero, your body shapeshifting and regenerating where it gets damaged in order to compensate for the assault the angry jager-bots seem to be giving you.

In your state of time go fast you make short work of the floor and make a hole big enough to fit Jager through. You ooze through the floor and grab the jager energy ball which burns away your skin and meat as soon as you touch it, but you just shapeshift more. You fire ceros at the far end of the hallway and charge, spikes firing from the turret posts on the wall into your leg. You ignore it as you keep up your cero assault, having to get rid of most of your body in the process. You feel the energy get ready to fire as you kick out of the wall and into the empty air.

As soon as Jager is out of the ship you see it start to shimmer blue, strange squares forming and vanishing as it is control Z’d back into Jager and her robot summoning gun. You look down and see the interceptors, most being chewed on by an inky black dress or with a single silver arrow sticking out of their hulls.

You know, I just realized how asinine it was for Mendel to say "this had nothing to do with us" when she probably cloned Amp from someone close to Jager, probably messed up Jager in a former life, and then provided the necessary mental torture to make Amp into Amp and provide him with the expertise and the opportunity to steal Mendel's stuff and get over here.

It's because it was a warship/carrier. Even if it came from Jager and gave usa whole bunch of trouble, it still seems pretty explicitly meant to battle in a conventional army manner. It might have done better against another battleship, but not against a person-sized target who has the power of a growing godling. But it did give us a huge challenge with its huge structure and robot guards. If we didn't know how to sniff out the power core or if it could have re-arranged its corridors at will, we would have been screwed.

If it was just one huge robot like Unicron or something, or a smaller person-sized robot with immense power, then we would have been pretty hard-pressed to fight it. But we would have at least been familiar with how to fight such things.

I have to wonder if there's any way to have Jager gain control of her released states, or if we have to grow her naturally for that to happen. It's odd that a Hollow's release form would involve creating complex autonomous machinery without any control from the release-ee.

My theory is that Jager was a former employee/minion of Mendel's, possibly a technopath, who had her son taken from her and was then killed.
Presumably, she tried to run after finding out she was pregnant since she didn't want Mendel experimenting on her kid.

That might be our fault for feeding her the moon that was Cain, Fenrir, and letting Furioso experiment on her to give her the Vampire Spikes.

The Vampire spikes are not a naturally occurring power of the Jägerbombs. Yet now it is integral to her abilities and functions.
>>
>>33116256
>>33116279

True.

Perhaps Jager becoming Hollow was an engineered process?
>>
>>33116323
She did the vamp spikes on her own though. And I'm pretty sure we ate Cain.
>>
>>33116302
Not in the future, in our subjective past.
Our living self was Mendel, and Risa kills us, then we become Risa.
Mendel already killed living Jager at this point in time, since we're the only hollow that moved backwards from their time of death to time of incarnation in hollow form.
It also technically qualifies as suicide, since we did kill ourself.
>>
>>33116323
>letting Furioso experiment on her to give her the Vampire Spikes
That one isn't our fault. The others, yeah. We're responsible for talking her into eating them. But Jager's a big girl. it was her choice to get some work done by Doctor Gangster.
>>
>>33116323

It would be very depressing if our efforts to keep Jager competitive or at least not defenseless just served to create an extremely powerful potential enemy who could easily be used against us at any time.
>>
>>33116324
I doubt it. Her powers are fairly standard up until she becomes a robut.

You put one of your eyes in the room to keep an… an eye on Jager. Sorry, that was bad. You step out of the room to let her sleep and answer it, snarling into the receiver. “I will find you, and I will kill you.”

“Your greetings leave something to be desired.” Mendel replies. “Why exactly are you planning on killing me?”

“You had a hand in this pie. You did something to that amp bloke that made him all needy for the Jager bombs. You probably were the one who killed her.” You say and Mendel laughs, a cold sick thing.

“Me? I hadn’t even been born back when she was killed.” Mendel points out.

“But you inherited the program. Makes it your fault.” You point out.

“Oh really? Well, what if Jager was originally the head of the program?” Mendel amused. “Oh, I know. Perhaps she was a scientist who, despite her unfortunate racial impurity, worked hard to deliver scientific advancements for the glory of Hitlers Eternal Empire. She would have been given a pardon so long as she continued to use her skills on the jews and gypsies at, oh some camp.” Mendel says tapping something. “So she worked, and toiled, and butchered countless people just to keep her children safe. But then the tides of war changed. Her lab was stormed, her children butchered with her own tools shortly before she was killed. Probably raped too, gentlemen tend to do that in war.” Mendel points out.

“The program and all of Jager’s research data gets taken to some dark KGB lab and in the name of poetic justice they use some of the more arcane and radical experiments to turn her into a hollow. The Soviet empire dies, their data gets taken by the champions of democracy, yada yada.” Mendel explains.

Nazi! Jager must die, I am sorry. “What? How can you just kill her off?” You ask. I do my duty for Queen and Country. “Was that who she really was?” You ask the phone and maybe the person on the other side.

“Hm? It could be a lie. Perhaps it was a lovely lie we told a power booster so he would go after her thinking he was the cloned offspring of her. Or maybe it was a lie the cloned offspring invented himself, the genetic damage giving him insanity. Maybe Jager was just a housewife, dreaming of a day her husband would return home only to have the retreating German forces, her husband’s company who had heard stories of his lovely unclean bitch, decide to play at bandit. Kill the kids, rape the mother, kill her too such is the way of war.

Or maybe all of it is a lie. Maybe she did work for me and she, oh I don’t know, betrayed me and ran off in the night. Perhaps I killed her and turned her child into some psychic abomination because I am terribly petty. One story is as good as any other. Take your pick.” Mendel explains, each story carrying the same honest tone making it impossible to tell which is true.

“I really hate you. What you did to Jager-“ You say but you hear Mendel laugh again, with no delight at all.

“Don’t play games Risa. Or perhaps you never realized it? If I have to be honest the only reason you can’t stand me is because I am real.” She explains.

You tilt your head. “I am plenty real, and I will show you how real by blowing up your stupid face.” You say. Good comeback.

“Not like that. Your cause of death was suicide because the world had nothing left to offer you. You did every debased action known to man and decided there was nothing fun left. You reached the end of the road of humanity and gave up. I didn’t.” She explains and you hear her enter some information on a computer.

Then, when I reached the end of the road of humanity I took another step and blazed a trail this world didn’t think possible. I stole gods, and defied monsters that would make you look adorable. I didn’t quit when life raised the difficulty level because I knew I could find fun where I wanted to.” She explains. “Of course my job does have its downsides, like trawling through hours of data defunct machines sent my office. Even if they were outdated you did do very well, apart from Sin-Fin. She does not deal well with machines does she?”

“You!” You say threateningly.

“No, I didn’t send him after you. However knowledge should never be put to waste, no matter how it is acquired.” Mendel explains. “I was just calling to congratulate you on getting rid of the machine, as understaffed as it may have been. It was certainly informative.”

>yes, we shall hug her until she feels better

also, tell all the lies and slander Mendel told us about her, and that if any of it contains a grain of truth that it doesn't matter.

Though if she's holding out being a scientist on us, there will be words. Words distorted by the rubbing of Risa's face agains Jager abs.
>>
>>33116903
[X] Wrap her in a gently hug and then try something novel. Talk to here and see if we did something wrong, because our Jagerbombs isn't herself and she's always been here for us and we have no idea how to reciprocate that bet we're willing to give it the ol' college try if she could maybe give us some hints on how this is supposed to work.

>[X] Give her Sir Quackington. For Keeps. So she knows we're seriously serious.

We should seriously comfort Jager.

But we also seriously do need to find a way for Jager to keep stride with Risa. So far it seems like we're bending over backwards and deferring much-needed SPXP so Jager can eat, but she's just not really wanting or trying to get better. She may be huge liability in the future even if we do leave people to guard her. She's our friend now, and being our friend is really dangerous, and she's in way too deep to back out and decide that "Oh, I'm just going to be Risa's normal cheerleader person."

Comforting her is probably a good idea here... but might it not also be worthwhile to inspire her to better herself, too? If she could gain control over even just the not-Madcat MK II form, that would be a huge improvement over where she is now.
>>
>>33117185
Its not her real name. She named herself after Gregor Johann Mendel, the father of modern biology.

But the whole JAGER-series is *still* just her throwing up her arms and saying "I don't want to deal with this. Incredibly Dangerous and Untrustworthy Robot who tried to kill us all, go fight with the people I love so much." She still doesn't want to face reality here, and is giving up her responsibilities to an AI that exterminates anything it safely can with extreme prejudice.

Given how memories and emotional states seem to influence her and her powers so much, it might be that there's some lingering doubt or unresolved torment that's preventing her from fully realizing her abilities. If she takes responsibility and tries to be all that she can be instead of just being a waifish maidenly distress figure, then it'll be Risa who's going to be trying her damndest to keep up with Jager instead of the other way around.
>>
>>33117359
Insightful
>>
>>33117398
Too insightful.

And I'm not sure we're able to vocalize such things without just sounding really hurtful.
>>
>>33117478

Sometimes you need to give some tough love to help those you love most.

But I get the feeling that we may not need to do this. Since Jager is probably much wiser and smarter than Risa, she probably has realized this on some level. But whether she'll *act* on this epiphany or not is another matter entirely.

“Be comforted!” You shout pointing at her.

“What? Oh, yeah, I will be fine” Jager says but you stomp your feet.

“No! No that isn’t even sort of being comforted! Take this!” You say pushing her on your bed with your fluffy tails, unhappy your Jager is unhappy thus she can’t make you happy.

She props herself up but you are already straddling her and pinning her shoulders to the bed. “You are grumpy because of torture, or because of being a giant space ship, or because you are wiretapping my phone. Stop being unhappy.” You say.

“Get off me what are you talking about?” Jager asks.

Very well, may god forgive what you are about to do. You place your hands on the side of her head and turn it left and right. No, I think maybe like up? “Up? But she needs that to move her body meat.” You say as you push on her cheeks. Oh, my bad. The other up. “Left? No, down.” You say tiling your head.

“What are you-“Jager starts to ask again when you suddenly remember.

“Forward!” You note pulling her head into your chest.

“Risa? Why are you-“ Jager starts but you will hear none of that quitter talk.

“Be comforted!” You command wrapping your arms around her head and burring your face in her hair.

“Ah, hey I appreciate what you are trying to do but it isn’t necessary. I’m a tough chick I’ll be fine.” She says.

“Sh, find peace in the embrace of the phat cat tats.” Not really phat, also not really a cat. “They are plenty phat. Why are we spelling them with a ph?” Dunno, but we are going through a phase where we like that turn of phrase. “Jager, you are unhappy and sad because of reasons. I can’t read minds.” You can just, like, only some peoples. “So if you don’t tell me why you are all unhappy I can’t know.” You explain

She is quiet as you stare at her, patiently waiting for her to say something. “Will you let me go if I talk?” She asks.

“Depends if I feel you have been sufficiently comforted.” You reply

“I almost hurt a lot of people today.” Jager explains.

Oh, her whole not wanting to hurt random people thing. “But you didn’t. Your cannon never went off.”

“But it could have. My power has all this destructive potential and it just wants to be let out. It needs to be free to destroy and I am afraid I can’t stop it.” She explains.

“Just practice. Nothing bad happened this time and you were getting all sorts of screwed up.” You explain.

“But it could have!” Jager says pulling back away from you and pushing herself up. “What if next time it doesn’t stop?”

“Well, I stopped you this time.” You point out.

“But what if you aren’t there.” Jager points out and you tilt your head.

“Huh? Are you stupid Jager?” You ask and you see her eyes start to water in anger. You raise an eyebrow and continue “I will always be there.”

She blinks in shock at your plain statement so you pull her back down and start petting her head. “Today must have been hard on you huh? Saying something so strange. Of course I will always be there for you Jager.” You say as you continue to stroke her in what you assume is soothing but it could also be terrifying.

“You’ll always, uh, be there?” Jager asks.

You feel the tension ease out of Jager’s shoulders, then feel her arms slowly slip around you. “Can I stay like this for a while?” She asks softly.

“Course you can.” You reply feeling her sigh as she drifts off to sleep.

You consider how best to kill Mendel as you pet her and drift off to sleep yourself.

You dream of killing pea pods right in their stupid faces. It is a good dream

We've already had a big laser beam attack that was ridiculously powerful compared to most of the attacks thrown around at the level where it was used. It was called Pandora Cero. I'm sure that the upgrades for WB would have been insane, but people don't think about upgrades and WG was initially better.
>>
>>33118357
How is that new system working again? Can it only be used to discount powers?
>>
>>33118447
the default is SPXP but the author/artist can request a discount on a specific power or for XP
>>
>>33118447
When you post draw/writefaggotry, you specify what you want.

If you don't specify, you get spxp. You can ask for regular xp if you want, or you can ask to discount a power.
>>
>>33118447
You can either say it is worth SPXP, worth XP, or be used to discount one of the price of the powers for buying. Like, the spxp you would have gotten for it is automatically put towards one of the powers the artist/author specifies for a discount.
