*Cough* Is this thing on? Yes? Alright.

Last time on our wonderful quest our beloved small child princess Eleha began a violent rampage throughout the city because someone sent even more assassins to kill her. Probably thought that whatever made the first assassins die in a very violent death was left at home, unfortunately or them you were actually still with Eleha. That still leaves the problem of her going on a god damn rampage! which probably has alerted the strongest fighters in this city.

How in the hell are you going to fix this Kimaris?

The girl, no, the little monster swings you once again to decapitate yet another guardsman. The wounds are immediately cauterized due to your heat so there is little to no blood to be spilled. The swings are sloppy. But due to her massive increase in strength that doesn't really matter. Still, it irritates that she mostly smashes her opponents with you and does not use you like a proper sword. At least the carnage is nice, makes you just a little proud of the little meatsack. And it also hurts to stop her, but you really need to get out of this situation.

Right... Have to calm her down... How the hell are you supposed to do that? Find the right words...

Dammit, why couldn't you have better control over your telepathy right now?

"Eleha! Stop! Think about what you are doing!"

Your only answer is a barely human sounding roar of anger as she lunges at another guard and leaves a deep gash across his body. The remaining guards seem to finally lose there last bit of morale and break completely, fleeing in random directions. Your wielder does not let this come to pass, as you feel her using her energy reserves to call upon your power.

With several swings she sends volleys of firebolts at the fleeing guards. Most of them are knocked down, but a few manage to escape. The red haired monster begins to walk towards more of the guards. While all of this is happening you try and coax the princess out of her rage filled state.

"Eleha! Please!" you 'plead'.

She hesitates to step forward for a moment, that is all you need to see before you renew your efforts of getting the firl to come to her senses.

She shakes her head and stops. before a crawling guard, trying to desperately avoid his painful death.

"What..." She seems to realize what has been happening. And you figure by her horrified scream that she is not taking it very well.

Before you can try to calm her down again a spear of light pierces the girl's left thigh. Dammit not again. The gir's scream of horror turns into one of pain as she clutches the spear. She quickly has to let go as she is burned? That doesn't seem right...

You can figure why the spear burns later because more are coming her way! The girl only stares in numb shock at the flying projectiles.

What do you tell her to do?

Eleha manages to somehow leap to the side of the first spear in spite of the pain coursing through her leg.

She leans to the side so the second one misses, and hits one of the guards that were laying scattered on the ground.

The final spear is deflected by Eleha's 'shield' of solid fire.

A sigh of relief escapes her lips. She then looks to her leg and clecnhes her teeth as she quickly takes hold of it and pulls.

This time another scream of pains erupts from he mouth as she pulls the bloodied spear out, even as it is burning her once delicate hands.

While she's doing this you stare at the figure who has been throwing those damn spears. Some kind of bastard wrapped around immaculate bandges.

Those bandages also seem to have some kind of glowing writing on them. The guy's eyes are also glowing. All with the color of gold.

If that weren't enough he has some kind of fucking golden aura around him.

You really don't like the look of that guy. He seems to be stronger than your pair at this point.

I would also like to take this opportunity to veto any plans to reveal that the little girl who has unleashed unholy(tm) fire upon the Guardsmen is actually the princess. Whilst this could be a major pain for the crown, more likely they would take this opportunity to be rid of us.

"Eleha, we need to move!" you tell your wielder.

"What..?" is her reply as she looks up and sees the figure standing in front of you. "No..."

"Eleha? What's wrong? Eleha! Don't just st-"

"The Angelus... It's come for me..." and then she starts crying. Great, just great.

Oh and now that fucker is chucking more spears at you. Sounds you don't like hearing coming from your wielder are caused by the spear penetrating all Eleha's abdomen.

The girl gags up blood. All the while she is sobbing like a newborn.

"Eleha dammit! Do you want to die like this!? Like a worthless nobody!? We need to move!"

And she does. She moves slower than before, like all her hope is lost. You pay attention to her face and see an expression of someone who has given up.

Dammit you're not ready for this shit.

More spears come after. The 'Angelus' seemingly able to repeat Eleha's feats of jumping higher than any normal human should. This does not bode well.

"Eleha... This is not your fault, please, get that spear out before you bleed out..." you plead your pitiful wielder. She does not listen.

She moves too slowly and does not bother to dodge. Her limbs get penetrated by more spears.

"Dammit girl!" you spend the last of your energy reserves to fire firebolts, your wielder dragging behind you helps getting good firing angles.

The resulting explosions cause fires everywhere. The smoke hides the little girls form.

"Hide!" you hiss.

Your wielder jumps into an alley and slowly walks behind some piled up crates that were not hit by the fire. She drops you and then collapses herself. Curling up into a ball.

The spears fade away after a few minutes. Her wounds also stop bleeding and seem to begin healing as well.

The empowerment recedes. Her hair returns to normal. Though the tattoos remain.

The night passes. The fire takes the two buildings that create the alleyway. Thankfully the alley itself is safe from harm, and so is your wielder. If not mentally than at least physically.

Eleha drags herself into a sitting position. Her legs spread outwards and her head hung low.

She seems very dirty, with smudges coloring large parts of her once delicate pale skin, now slightly tanned, black.

If we go for consoling I can make some parallels with Hellborn quest where the MC berserked in the face of death and had in her blind rage killed some male civillian she never met. Her friend consoled her in a way as blaming her foes who made her go that way, in other words it is them who had killed the innocent if they hadn't attacked her then in wouldn't have happened at all.

Yeah, its pretty great.

I'm not really that good at summary's but I'll try.

The MC is a half-demon orphan who has gone through many foster homes. The quest starts with her being in a part of a gang but when the rival gang attacked them all went to shit. She gets contacted by a half-angel demon hunter (who we first thought was trying to kill us) and he offers her home and shelter with his family. She agrees, makes friends with his daughter, goes to school and once in a while fights demons.

Anyway, it's pretty great, there is a rewarding power progression, with a lot of power-ups. Good characters and good writing overall.

The MC is actually a very special snowflake character but it is still enjoyable

I recommend it even though I was somewhat disappointed that it didn't turn into supernatural gang management quest

"Eleha, what's wrong..?" you ask.

The girl clutches you tighter. Her eyes ae closed tightly while once more tears flow down her cheeks.

"I-it's alright... It's not your fault you know?" Dammit, think, you can't jsut let her wallow in self-pity like that.

"You were made to do this..." a sob escapes her, "If they hadn't provoked you..."

"Even... So..." she whispers in between sobs.

"What? What is it, dear?

"We killed them..."

"Yes but it was not your-"

"No!" she shakes her head slowly "Not them..."

"Then what's wrong..?"

"There were families... In those homes..." she explains after a moment of silence.

Then you remember to look around. Witht he smoke and ash mostly cleared you can see, most of the neighborhood seems to have burned down.

And it seems that it was a residential district...

...

...Big deal? Not her problem.

"It's okay... I understand..." You lie to her while she vents her emotions.

She begins wailing loudly after that...

The sun shines brightly. In the shadow of the ruins of a burned down neighborhood a lonely girl cries her heart out to a creature that does not understand her plight...

The day passes by slowly as you waste time to wait for the little girl to calm down.

After she seemed in a bit of a beter mood you managed to coax her into searching the ruins for anything that she could use to hide her tattoos with.

The sun was already beginning to set.

She managed to find some unburnt cloth. She managed to find some of those wraps that the people of the desert wear.

After covering the tattoos on her arms and feet, and you as well, you managed to somehow exit the burnt out district without any confrontations.

There were people skulking about, either looting or trying to find any survivors. The city seemed deep with grief from the tragedy.

You also overheard, both with actual sound and through your telepathy, cries hate and anger towards some sort of 'demon'.

You nearly had to stop because of Eleha starting to cry again.

Eleha walked slowly through the cooling streets of the city towards her mansion.

After another 10 minutes of arguing, during which swords were almost brandished it seems, the white robes people leave.

Eleha breaths a heavy sigh of relief and shuffles to the mansion.

The female guard was still standing at the entrance so when Eleha called out to her she turned her head so quickly you're surprised she didn't get whiplash.

The guard proceeded to run and capture the little noble in a strong hug while sobbing and chastising the little girl for worrying them all so much.

She is brought back into the mansion. She refuses to part with you, that is probably the bond affecting her conscious... Or perhaps something more mundane?

The servants do not question it and clean her and you. Some of them lament how the princess seems to have lost some of the traits of her nobility such as her delicate skin, which is now marred with scars and tattoos.

They do not ask her anything that would put her in distress however.

Loyalty is very hard to come by... These servants are proving to be very useful...

After everything calms down the days begin to blur together again. Though now the young princess does not leave you anywhere and always carries you around. Her nights also seemed to be riddle with nightmares.

She does not mention her friends, who probably lived in that district you burnt down. That too, you don't think she realises that it was you who launched all that fire, and not her. Odd.

What should you make the girl focus on during these monotonous days?

Write-ins are very welcome. Whatever skill you think the girl might need to survive her conquests you could learn.

How does she have the power to wrest souls from us again?
And what did she use them for?

Bah, commoner friends! We should use this trauma to fuel her distaste for the masses and instead adopt an aristocratic and detached persona. People are tools to be used on our way to greatness.
>>
>>33073905
Trauma can result in some pretty severe psychological problems. That persona you're talking about? She's scared shitless of being ambushed and if she ever does get ambushed again she'll probably lock up.

And if we instill the whole "People are naught but tools to be used" then she might slip up and remind people what they are to her, which will in turn shake their faith in her.

What I'm suggesting is making her bipolar through making the sword and wielder have two different personalities, the girl shall be the friendly face and the sword shall provide dark counsel.
>>
It's just a bump, just to keep it from descending beyond the precipice of nothing.
>>
And another
>>
So is everyone set on keeping traumatized princess girl here? I can see a lot of pros and cons either way.

Keep her
>We actually have a wielder
>She's so attached to us that we can probably manipulate her entire life
>Royalty
>loyal servants

>Political Shenanigans
>getting through the current mess
>we've gotten the eye of those holy guys, and there's no going back without cutting her loose
>She's probably not killing anybody anytime soon.

Dump her
>We get to go on another rampage
>done right, we get no consequences
>We manipulate her to have us end up somewhere more advantageous(another royalty, perhaps)

>no master AGAIN
>this could bite us in the ass if we leave things with loose ends
>we already bonded with her
>>
As far as I can tell keeping the princess is an In-Character action. (Demonic Mom sword mothering a neglected child).

Whilst dumping her, whilst justifiable IC, is an Out-Of-Character prompt. (The result being a wipe of our current situation for a hopefully better one.)

*sniff* Anons... You are too kind...

The days seem to melt away. During the first few months Eleha screams throughout most of her nights and wakes up breathing heavily and sweating like a pig.
She tells you of how she dreams of the people dying the fire, of how they scream demanding reparations for her terrible atrocity...

Idiotic mortals. You never could fully understand the strange things they call 'morals' and 'conscience'. Avitus did not seem to have much of either those.
Thus the time spent with your original wielder did not help furthering your knowledge in those subjects.

That does not stop you from trying to make her get over it however. With all the time you spend with her it is easy to make her see your way.
That you can sense her emotions is a true boon and helps you direct the conversation. Not to mention that she is but a child, bloodied, but a child nonetheless

Her guard, Farah is her name, also helps her get over her trauma by helping with her fencing lessons.
It does irk you slightly however, that the type of sword and technique she is being taught how to use does not fit with your current form. You will have to remedy that...

The noble girl also begins taking lessons in how to lead and command men. The lessons seem to go well and the little girl grows more confidence with each passing day.
She also learns some basics about military tactics and how to fight with a group rather than just on your own.

On your prompt Eleha begins her first forays into magic. You only find out by the surprise of her tutor that she did not display any talent whatsoever before your intervention.
The girl who could not muster even a spark before is now progressing leaps and bounds in Ateshi style pyromancy. This pleases you greatly.

To the puzzlement of you and everyone else however, whenever Eleha uses pyromancy her tattoos seem to glow a crimson red. Thankfully news this oddity has not left the estate, yet.
This does raise your interest in finding out what exactly is sleeping within this girls mysteriously locked up soul. What exactly is that power, and how will it change her life now that you've awoken it?

To answer some of those questions you convince Eleha to focus a bit more on learning lore and history of the nation, particularly the history of her family.

Most of it does not interest you, but you do find out several interesting facts about house Elohim and the country of Ateshi.

Apparently house Elohim was actually much more higher up the toem pole than their current position. But after a series of events, which you have not gone into detail unfortunately, the house was dishonored and beaten down to a minor house.
More interesting news is how the ruler of Ateshi is elected... The heads of the most prestigious and powerful houses, who are all female, are gathered together.
The house heads then go through a series of trials until one of them is chosen to become the new ruler. The local cult apparently worships the ruler like a god...

This tradition has existed from a time before Avitus united the continent. It was started by the first Flame Goddess Esherah.

You are shown a portrait of said person. And you recognize the familiar visage. You'd never forget it...

The founder of Ateshi... It is your daughter, Ash...

>END THREAD

For real this time. Now tomorrow I'll try to do an actual thread. And until then I will try to fix a few fucking problems that I have right now.

Namely having a coherent skill-tree for our daemon sword here (maybe even fix up one for the wielder). And then write up some actual fucking notes 'cause holy fuck all of this has been me thinking up shit on the fly and I am beginning to see how that is fucking a lot of things up.
>>
>>33086084
Thanks for the thread Smith see you tomorrow.
>>
Any questions complaints, criticisms on my rather atrocious writing or questions?

If I can answer some concerns than ask away.
>>
>>33086123
I don't mind if you take another break to get yourself orientated and makes some notes
Thanks for the Thread

>>33086192
Don't kid about that, cockroaches ain't no joke
>>
>>33086244
Sytry isn't either.
>>
>>33086123
What's an Asuran?

Also, yeah, get a skill tree for girl and sword drawn up and make some notes. Delay the Thread by a day if you have to, just make sure you have something concrete for next time.
>>
>>33086255
Im scared now
>>
>>33086297
Asuran is the name of the energy that makes up Daemons.
>>
>>33086327
If we lost all of our Asuran would we cease to be? Also, how can we increase our Asuran pool?
>>
>>33086370
These two questions will have to be answered tomorrow when I've hashed more shit and stopped wring everything on the fucking fly.
