The man genuinely believes in what he just said. And she laughs him off.

"Ridiculous prattle," she scoffs, stepping away from the rail and walking along the catwalk, over to a sliding door. "Since you're so eager to make small talk, perhaps I'll leave you in the care of my beautiful COVERS. They will help to loosen your tongues further, until such a time comes when the nonsense you spew actually turns to something of worth."

The door slides open, she steps through, and it slides closed. She's gone, just like that, and you make your move.

You land right in the middle of the lab and the lights go dim, with a single spotlight landing on the door Ragyo left out of. With its little cloth fingers, it gives you a thumbs up as it operates the controls in the far corner of the room.

Ragyo bursts back into the room and leans over the railing, eyes wild. "It was my...assumption...that these COVERS would prove far inferior...in the face of your...tactics."

The spotlight switches over to you, striking a dramatic pose. "You summon and tailor, summon and tailor. Is sanity the price to pay...for power?!"

"Humans," Ragyo growls, slowly sauntering across the catwalk. "They are but stubborn and foolish! It takes...a journey...to Hell...for them to accept and praise their God! A fact that TICKLES...Irony's...lapels!"

You chuckle, swinging on Genryu's cage.

You laugh like a madman and, using your momentum, swing off the cage and send it crashing to the ground. Genryu stumbles out and rubs his beard, as you yourself are launched onto the catwalk. You face her with Tailor's Dagger drawn, single eye blazing as you continue to laugh.

"You will fumble in your opposition...of my quest! Though I encourage...for an opportunity to battle a woman, of such grand delusion as you...is a sweet opportunity!"

Far below on the laboratory's main level, Genryu rips the cage containing his brother into little pieces.

"C'mon, on your feet, old man."

"You're old as shit, yourself. You've got no room to talk, kid."

The two of them chuckle as you stare Ragyo down, a light fog filling the air around you two. Without warning, Genryu and his brother leap onto the catwalk, the structure bending under the immense pressure.

"Do whatever else you came here to do," Genryu grins, raising his mitts. "We'll make sure Ragyo here doesn't stay bored for too long."

"Ohhh," she pretends to swoon, smiling down at him evilly. "So you ARE a gentleman, after all."

You roll over the edge of the catwalk and land on the ground below, hiding behind a console as the battle starts. You can't see anything, but the thundering crashes and chunks of flaming metal paint a picture colorful enough for you to live without looking. You pull up the holographic display and panic as you struggle to think on what to do next.

Whatever it is, though...you only get one shot.

The sight of it terrifies you, sends a chill all throughout your body that not even Junketsu or Ragyo could match.

You know not its name, but you can feel the sheer power behind it. Even if it has no will of its own yet, even if the Life Fibers have not come together completely, this creation could end the world on its own.

And it seems to be reliant on whatever system is currently in place, producing readouts and such. You can tell just by all the wires and nearby consoles streaming endless data.

You might be powerless against Ragyo, and the same could be said of Genryu and his brother as they are sent flying across the massive room. But all is not lost.

"Anaru, I am going to get rid of these devices as soon as I'm finished destroying this...evil thing Ragyo is building."

"What? Wait, Senketsu! What about the prisoners? What about Fate, and Nui? What about my dad and Uncle-!"

"The others already escaped. They were gone when I arrived. Genryu and his older brother are protecting me from Ragyo, but not for much longer. I'm going to do as much damage as I can before it's over."

"Senketsu, wait!"

"This was a suicide mission from the very beginning, but someone had to do it. And you can still fight, you can still protect Ryuuko."

"Senketsu!"

You hop over to the main console and rip open the panel on the side, slicing through wires with your Tailor's Dagger. You cut power cords, extension cords, you smash circuit boards...you do everything you can, and are pleased to find that the computers around you begin to go haywire.

"You FOOL!"

You drop the watch in your surprise and spin around to see Ragyo holding both men by their throats, before tossing them aside and approaching you.

She slowly walks over to you, the threads on her nails whipping around menacingly. You turn to face the watch's screen.

"Anaru."

"SENKETSU, WHAT'S-?!"

"When Ryuuko wakes up, tell her I'm sorry. I really...I really did want her to wear me again, y'know?"

Each and every Banshi, every single ounce of your will is stripped away in just a few quick swings as you are disemboweled. Torn. Destroyed.

She swings once more and you gasp with fear, aching for the one you adore.

You scatter into countless pieces with her final strike, crying out.

And as the scraps that were once your body hover in the air, your eye settles on the two-way feed hovering above the watch...and finds Ryuuko among the crowd, sleeping soundly in Gamagoori's arms.

And you know she will never wear you again.

The remnants of your body fall to the floor and remain motionless, even as Ragyo walks over all of them to approach the device. She takes one heel in particular and slams it down on your eye, grinding it down as she smiles at her audience.

"Don't worry," she reassures them sweetly. "I'll stitch him right up. He'll be good as new."

And she then drives her heel into the watch, severing your last connection to Ryuuko. To anyone.

"...enketsu?"

Your eye begins to close.

"...SENKETSU?!"

She is the last thing you see. Smiling, laughing, holding you close. Sleeping with you in her arms.

You turned away from him, then, and threw aside the raincoat and scarf. You threw aside the last of your limitations and looked back at him, stark naked.

"I will get stronger than even I can imagine, no matter what."

And you ran a single hand through your hair, styling it into a shape that has not been seen for a long time.

"For Ryuuko. And for Senketsu."

You walked away from Iori's makeshift sewing area, and you did not return.

"An exhibitionist? I never knew," Mikisugi teased.

You put on the new gear.

You turned your head back to face him.

"Not an exhibitionist. A Nudist." You patted your pomp.

The five of you grind to a sudden halt and Satsuki raises her fist. All of you immediately dive for shelter, hiding as a patrolling group of COVERS floats on by. You wait for a moment just to confirm, then emerge from your respective hiding places and continue onward.

"They're looking for us," you state. No sense phrasing it as a question when you already know the answer. That's just rude.

"Looking for you, more likely than not," Satsuki adds, glancing at you as you run together. "How are you feeling?"

"I'm ready for murder."

"Then that's probably the cause," she grins. "They can already feel your presence, so is it outside the realm of possibility for them to feel your intentions, as well?"

"It would explain why they keep combing this particular area so much, and with so many numbers," Uzu puts forth, running up on your other side.

"Kill the Primordial Life Fiber, obtain anything of value that we can, and destroy the mansion completely," you say. "Easy mission, easy day."

"Prudence isn't your thing?" Satsuki smiles.

You just smile back at her. Nothing more needs to be said.

The city limits were as close as Nudist Beach could get you, but after a long trek, your group finally arrives at their destination.

Leaving the rest of the area perpetually open to the chaos that the rest of your team will cause. Beautiful.

"Alright," you grin, popping a toothpick in your mouth and tossing a couple Sewing guns into the air. You spin around on the balls of your feet and catch one in each hand, firing with extreme speed and instantly holstering them.

The entire first wave of COVERS collapses to the ground, stunned by your needles.

You laugh as the COVERS float backwards momentarily, not entirely prepared for that kind of display. You wink at them and pull the toothpick out of your mouth, pinched between thumb and forefinger as you stare them down.

The manor is suddenly rocked by a series of shockwaves as Anaru battles the endless COVERS outside, giving you and the others the time you need.

You are Kiryuuin Satsuki, and you are at your old home again. For the last time.

Ira and Nonon begin disabling the servants and security with their weapons as you and Uzu proceed up the main stairwell, flanked on both sides by a sudden pair of COVERS. Your Bakuzan makes quick work of one simply by severing the strand of Life Fibers on its back, while Uzu dispatches his foe with a barrage of needles followed by a swift sticky-starch grenade.

The grenade finds the chest of the COVERS and you tackle him to the ground, protecting him from the explosion. You help him back up.

You elbow him in the ribs for that one. He laughs and looks around, whistling.

"It's absolutely pristine in here. Have a few friends among the servants?"

"Not at all, and I think we should move on from the current discussion. We're on a time limit, remember?"
