last time among the Guanyin both disasters and miracles occurred. Tearing our ranks apart and bestowing great things upon us. Our psionic potential also exploded we are near the final cusp of ultimate psionic existence. Sadly however Mama has taken ill and seems to be taking longer and longer to recover.

Meanwhile both Eden and Vece are both gone. Later we sent our new heroes Bast and Roja to track down Mama's son Vece. Zombies have overtaken the land leading to new hives being formed, ghouls are beginning to stream in, and the 'new' stuff is finally beginning to settle. What this will result for us is unknown.

As much the same as last time for telepathy this one is tough to crack. Trick is not using to much power and breaking down the meanings.

The scavenging of resources was unspectacular baring only 2 resources so pretty average at least its easier then before.

Hunting also went...typically except for Shara being less then enthused as well as picky got in the way more then anything really.

Improving the farm went well problems were gone over. Deficiencies detected then promptly fixed, and crop rotation has been adopted.

Forces decided to add onto a fear effect to our aura...which was hard considering how it was built. then someone had the GENIUS idea to take a look ad Daddy Abomination to learn how.

Good news is why yes we DO have a fear aura.

Bad news is it resembles one created by an abomination aka one of feeling wrong, vile, and disgust. Ours is a different flavor granted but it still carries that same disgust with it.

Indeed our forces knew where to look for great and mighty effect they successfully brought in quite a bit of resources. A great deal in fact so happy day it twas.

Expansion goes reasonably well but its slow going terrain isn't be so kind and we don't exactly have the best tools for the job.

Exploration continues the next floor seems to be devoted to storage...and it has been heavily stripped down, but only certain materials strangely enough were taken. We can even routes that they were taken along.

Clora was BROOD which is a different beast entirely from MAMA. What she ended up becoming...well lets just say you haven't seen nothing yet wait till you see an Arch Queen or god help you an Empress.

Arch Queens arise by holding sway over Queens.

An Empress can even command Arch Queens around.

Its worth noting that there has only been TWO sightings of an Arch Queen and the Empress is only rumored to exist. the only suppliers of information involving the mythic Empresses being Brood forces...and the info is kept secret.

First Queen sighting was during the Brood Wars where a Queen rose up and began her assault.

The resulting conflict very nearly drove humanity to extinction. How closely exactly is something many never got to realize.

The second sighting was during the Fall. a number of broods somehow slipped through and rose up...one of them ended up rising above and became a deadly force during the fall. Her death was never confirmed unlike the other.

Empress existence is claimed by Brood forces of few who offered it up talked about an 'Empress' one who leads the brood of broods. One who gave birth the mightiest the chosen and devours all those who oppose. This one they claimed either A. Existed since the beginning...or B somehow formed later on.

No one has ever confirmed the existence of the Empress. Only one thing is known for fact about it though and its something ALL brood forces agreed upon.

The Empress rules over the ENTIRE might of ALL the broods everywhere. If it is brood it is under the Empress. She is the overseer of overseers the ultimate head and best leader.

Scavenging trip went well this time around while the monsters are disturbingly good at avoiding us the plants and shrooms...not so much. Especially the shrooms...so tasty and plentiful. Not to mention being a nice break from the farm produce.

Some basic hand tools were come up with considering swampy terrain(wish i knew more about swamps so I could give more info).

Shara...well uh. How you do like monsters? In particular the meanest bastards ever?

Turns out Shara has built herself a Den...of monsters and not just any monsters either oh no she got the meanest, ugliest, most wretched fuckers out there. Built the thing by delivering a shroud of old trees, wasteland special dirt, sprinklings of nasty, crystals, waste, trash, resources, marsh, jungle, and god knows what to build it. After that she called forth her 'vetted' them before finding some more and then set up shop.

One thing we know for a fact...unlike the other monsters these ones don't have any problems with us. If anything I am pretty sure a few licked their chops...

Well our forces have begun work on telekinesis a bit tricky to figure out and something they are only vaguely familiar with but we did make a little more progress then expected so there is that.

With our big brains the art of the dismantling of tech and putting them back together went well. Now we can do something like that if were familiar with it even if we have no idea how or why it works the way it does.

Shara already has the monsters figured out problem is the lengths she had to get to make them withstand us...makes them that much harder to handle.

A breakthough happened with telepathy we can now transmit images but getting past language barriers is still causing a hang up but hey were getting there. Also memories don't count not sure why that is but hey at least got most of everything else so there is that.

Technology on the other hand is rather...lacking. Stuff got uprooted, moved around, and then flooded. THAT isn't including what happened before with this being the wasteland and the fall happening...so yeah. While our lads did a good job combing through the area we have begun to understand how those bandits were feeling.

Shara does some work while they can withstand your presence that doesn't mean they like you...and the monsters she required were of a caliber she would of otherwise avoided. free tip you can 'build' a lair damn near anywhere or modify previously existing structures can be converted.

Really depends on what your after if you build it from scratch beyond base stats you get to choose how its laid out.

Benefits from conversion is hybrid bonus basically but you don't get to choose how things are arranged ect. You are stuck with whats already there.

I forget the exact details so correct me if I am wrong, but if I recall Lair is essentially one of the major base bonuses, such as Research Facility being good for a type of research or Bunker has an AI and improve defense.

Lair specific to helping mutants or brood with reproduction and mutation in general. I always imagined it to be making the base really fleshy or something.

Fleshroom are breeding chambers. As you know, mutants have difficulty with breeding issues. But Broodmothers and Mama's increase the fertility of those copulating around her via pheramones. A Fleshroom is a comfortable location with large pools of these concentrated pheramones, and also pumps them into the air, and so regularly cycling couples through there on a regular basis allows for increased population growth.

They are also, naturally, a popular form of recreation and public gatherings (orgies) and help to make an intimate and caring society.

I'm a broken record by now, but Memor were brood and they diplomanced and recruited other mutants the likes of which has not been seen since. Hell, add to that their natural penalty towards diplomat with other mutants AND the creepiness of hivemind and yet despite all that they gathered the most allies of any civ so far.

We'll go out and study the other place...but the one we discovered long ago is nigh-perfect for settlement so if it's cleared we can set up a colony almost immediately. The ruined apartment complex is going to (at least) need some cleaning up before we can move in, and that's without knowing what's living there. Anyone else disappointed that we didn't have more mutations when we applied the Monstrous serum? I would've liked to have seen what even a minor healing mutation would've done for our survivability combined with armored plates, enhanced toughness, our immune systems, and our guts.

That's alright though, if we gestate a companion/warhound species (and make sure it has a loyalty mutation...like dogs) then we can apply the monstrous serum to them. Also if we ever recruit other mutants.

Oh, we should get to work making a mushroom farm. It'd be easy, low maintenance, and high yield in our environment. I'm sure our men would appreciate diversity in their diets too.

How about some brainy/psi mutants, like the Mulic or actual Memor? Extremely good at Psi and learning science and technology than us. Their bodies no longer have to worry about supporting enhanced muscles or armor plating and simply focus on the mind.

We would need to protect them of course and keep them away from harm as before, but the upshoot of which is when we reach hivemind stage everyone will be as smart as them.

The half that remains will be amplified and boosted far more than the others could. They reach the pinnacle of those particular abilities we all share.

It's like comparing the abilities of a Tank, a Bulldozer, a Racecar, and a Semi-Truck. Even though there are abilities they share, each has something they are particularly good at that the other can't be without sacrificing something.

Specialization would make it so we can directly focus on improving and perfecting specific mutations (such as BRAIN POWAH) than the general population could withstand without becoming an abomination.

Our monster wranglers would be able to incite monsters against our enemies (or whatever), but our dogs would be used to charge ahead of our main forces quickly and bog the enemy down in melee combat so our main troops could support without being harassed by ranged fire. Reducing casualties on us. They could also be used to take advantage of breaks in enemy lines/defenses (charging into a breached wall in a complex, for instance, and then chewing things to shreds with their speed and natural weapons in the close quarters of the inside).

The working plan is to try to work with Vece so that we can at least control the aspects of our Aura that are activated at a given time, if we can't learn to toggle the aura itself.

Also I kind of want to murder the bandits and take their base, but at the same time it'd be a bad idea to be the only faction around aside from the fuckmassive population of zombies.

On the other hand, if we went about culling the zombies and shutting down their hives then the outcasts would be indebted to us in the good neighbor sense (and possibly more so). Forces dispatched though Mama herself decided to come along.

The urban ruins seem to have once been a complex of somekind. With the trees left it opened up more but also suffered damage. They ended up checking out a sort of court yard with a fountain a place that had been previously concealed before thus they never found it before now.

Shara notes that the crater was hit by some sort of penetrator...that hit something to cause another boom and crater.

Basically two craters stacked on each other chalk full of ruins. Monster wise seems to be rather empty except for the pool on the bottom and around the crater itself. Zombies were seen lurking around or to be more precise what remained of them. Ghouls were noted to be lurking around particularly the especially radiated areas. They were seen lurking underground or in cover mostly. Bandit wise only a few were seen poking around though a small camp was noted. Seems to be they are waiting for something. Other factions...nothing really mutants are expected and some areas are sealed off that may turn out to contain something but considering how wrecked this place got its unlikely.

darkness...warmth. For seemingly long time and yet oh too brief before being welcomed into the world.

Time passes eventually not quite so helpless can now move around. others...presence can be felt but they cannot hear nor can they feel.

Felt presence met presence. They explained much of the 'hivemind' others do not understand. Sadly others were not able to understand...except for one. This one was especially strong as it turned out.

Nearly got eaten by zombies but once they stopped when panicked. Tricked them into believing I was one of them. Sadly does NOT work on ghouls nearly got eaten by ghouls if not for her.

That was a close call.

Another time accidently drew forth the attention of a nasty adversiroy...brood.

Strangely did not harm but only took before a brood mother known as Zorna. Was young MAMA before getting infested surprisingly good company found out much from her. About surface, psi, brood, hivemind, and even myself.

Eventually got rescued...again.

Could see brood pulsating and moving. Suddenly no fight but evade could somehow hide self from them but still felt them. Used them to track down guy...

felt memories...experiences, senses felt it all. Was overwhelming. Rescued after that though...am connected.

Finally to see...no experience what its like having a penis also experimenting.

Wish to see with own eyes other felt same...much embarrassment. Meeting place determined though silently. Nice no longer needing conversation keeps silence...can see from each others eyes can feel as if other if allowed.

Interesting fact I have noticed...the two of them. Well. neither died of old age.

how they died well...simply put they died in the middle of orgy...of pleasure.

Turns out the Memor have stories and records of those who loved each other so deeply that should one pass away they too would instantly follow. In other words they died as one.

As for what happened to theri zombie connection?

Something else took over known to the Memor as SWH uniting them and so the trick didn't work anymore.

The brood mother's fate is unknown as the Memor tended to wander around underground. Avoiding threats and surviving.

The mutation line that it took to create them as they are known is best traced back to that pair is where its most obvious.

But seriously those two could not keep their hands off each other. Pretty sure why the Memor quickly developed the means of blocking out parts was originally for the sake of not having to bare witness to what those two were doing each other.
