>>32799742“I can feel it. Them. The beast cries, and everyone hears it, but no one acts. What beau comes from the mouth of the devil, forced through heaven’s door by his own demons?”Who are you speaking to? Everyone is up there. Flying towards the sky. Angels without wings. Devils without fangs. Just a byproduct of someone who couldn’t keep control. Who are you to even speak, you insolent… It stops. Sitting in your desolate cell, you feel the sky erupt. Red. All you can see is red. All you can feel is red. Liquid gold by another color. There are no windows, and there is no sky for you to see. Walking over to the wall, you lay yourself against it, bare-chested, starved for contact. Something other than them. Other than that beast. You can’t help but feel sad for it as it bellows its death kneel. You lick the wall, and it tastes like iron. Maybe it’s envy? Are you envious? You can’t feel her anymore. Her distinct signature is gone. You’ve failed, and should just accept that. Maybe you already did? Maybe. Isn’t this all just a memory? She’s dead, though. And you’re frowning. She wouldn’t want that, would she? Besides, do you really want to live through this again?Do you? Snap out of it. Roll 1d20 Keep going.

>>32800193Usual practice is gathering up the rolls, and then doing my own roll whenever I do a roll challange. Sometimes we win, sometimes we don't. I was being a bit coy with my comment, as I've been denied skeletons for a few threads now.Either way, writing.
The collective will of billions of people all appear at once, mapped around the globe. It’s overwhelming your senses. You hurriedly back away from the wall, scurrying as quickly as you can to the other side of your cell, your back tightly meshing with the door.Your heart races, your brain buzzes, the blood in your veins flows quickly through each. It skips. Forward. Not everything is correct. And then… and then it all comes tumbling down. Her life force, its aura, gone in a disheartening flash. Fear? Or is it the encroachment of the truth? Simple bewilderment? Madness, even. It’s as if a void has been left in the collective consciousness of the planet.Oh God, she died. She actually died. What are they planning? You want to smile at her death, but you know what her demise brings. Death gives life, right? Or at least opportunity. Her alignment was nothing other than evil, but at least it was still human. Right?“I’m coming, Kiryuin.” It isn’t a voice, more of a force. Strong enough to exert thought across vast stretches of space. It echoes all around you, repeating itself at every imaginable tone and frequency. The cub is dead, and the pride will tear you to tatters. One crash. Then another. Then yet again. Loud thuds begin assaulting the building where you are contained, one after another. They become frequent, like drops of rain. Those souls you feel, they begin to dissipate at an alarming rate.It feels rushed, parts are missing. Is this it, something is missing? Hurry. Is this what happened? Hurry. Keep Going. Roll 1d10 Correct it. Roll 1d20 Stop it.

“You feel so defeated, so tired. Oh so very sad. What is real, what isn’t real…” The voice echoes across the small enclosure, sounding out without enthusiasm, and certainly without feeling. There isn’t any malice behind the words, and they lack real emotion. It’s a script if anything. And there he sits, reading it in the corner of your cell.“You think to yourself, ‘Oh dear, woe is me. My pooooooooooooooor little Nui is dead. I should join her, too.’” He continues, looking down into a worn book, slowly sipping back from an expensive looking teacup, steam dancing upwards dispersing as it reaches the tip of his head. The scent is Earl Grey. Him.You force yourself to turn in his direction, body slowly obeying the commands of its real master. “G.” You spit out through clenched teeth, barely able to think straight. His voice continues, mockingly calling out the next lines in such an insulting, dry tone. “Oh, and Satsuki. And the other one. I couldn’t save anyone. I even locked myself up in here, and well…” Suddenly he turns to you, completely aware of your presence. Amused. His interest peaks, and a wicked smile sprawls across his face.He lowers the glasses, red eyes to red eyes, staring straight at you. “I couldn’t even stop her from finger-fucking the two of them the past ten years! Oh, and your little life fiber puppet “sister” is dead. A-boo-hoo-hoo.” He fists his hands, and rubs them under his eyes, closing them and making fake crying sounds. He laughs heartily, closing the book, and setting the teacup down on the floor, ever so carefully. He begins walking over to you, still grinning. Kill him. Choke him. Punch him. Restrain yourself.

“HA HA HA! My how far have the Kiryuins’ fallen! I suppose not as far as all those people!”Don’t do it. He’s being too obvious. You stand up from your slump, and stare him down.“Oh?” His smile fades, and he pushes his glasses back towards his face, once again covering his eyes. His normal expression returns to his face, and with it, his listless tone.“You got the warning, correct?”“Yes.” Your response is as short and tort as it can be; you don’t wish to waste more breath than need be on him.“You’re in charge of dispersing the initial waves. They will be going after you… mostly anyway.”You stare at him in silence, your body almost petrified where it stands, just trying to hold back your anger.“Hououmaru believes the end date when Luna will arrive won’t change. At that point, we can take over, and per our agreement, you can drag your ilk along with you.”Silence still.“Ah, I was hoping you wouldn’t be this perceptive, though. Maybe expose a few skeletons in your closet, Kiryuin? Or at least cause a little ruckus, Sun King?”You remain there, not listening to the words, just picking up the meaning behind them.“I suppose you still have some grasp on reality!” He leans back from your face a bit, and laughs. The rooms begins to morph to your hospital room. The figure before you slowly morphs to Satsuki, standing uncomfortably, clearly disturbed. Ask what happened. Feign ignorance. You blink a few times, clearing away the last remnants of your delusion, and you rub your eyes a bit. You open your eyes again, and see the point of Satsuki’s sword.“HINODE KIRYUIN!” She shouts. “You are truly a despicable beast.”“I can possibly explain.” Your come back falls short, and the point of her sword swings away from you, and points to… Nonon? She’s laying on the hospital bed, unconscious.“I was hallucinating!” You manage to choke out, worried of what was done. What the hell did you do?You look around, and everyone else is giving you quite a stern look. Except Ryuko. She’s rolling on the floor, laughing at the situation.“What sick perverted fantasy were you carrying out in that broken mind, Hinode Kiryuin?” Satsuki’s serious tone clashes with the increased laughter from Ryuko. Satsuki slowly turns towards your mutual sister, and berates her, “This isn’t funny, Ryuko!”Her face is red with laughter at this point, but she manages to stop long enough to spurt out, “Her face…” She has another bout of laughter, and continues. “I’ve never seen her so out of it! Ah, she wasn’t expecting to be licked… ahahaha!”“That’s it?” The sword comes flying back into view.Satsuki continues, clearly angered by your callousness towards this very serious situation. “YOU SULLIED HER, YOU FREAK! She fainted on the spot, red with embarrassment.”“Looked like she liked it to me.” Ryuko interjects, still giggling.“Ryuko!”“Face it sis, you lost the bet.” What bet? Is she alright? I should check on her. Apologize.
>>32803433> What bet?
>>32803433>[X] Apologize.God fucking damn it Hinode.
>>32803433>[x] Apologize. There was a blind spot in my head, a bullet-shaped hole where the answers should be. Call it denial. I wanted to dig inside my skull and scrape out the pain.
>>32803433>tfw no pink-haired qt musically literate conductor gf> Apologize.
“Bet?” You ask, leaning in and staring into Ryuuko’s face. Your expression has turned to that of the concerned older brother, chastising the younger for childish actions. You stare into her eyes, wiping the smile from her face, changing to one of nervousness.“Uh, well.”You sigh, and pat her on the head, maintaining your expression. You flash a larger smile, and say, “Don’t worry about it.” All the while, ruffling her hair. You then turn your head to Satsuki, who is looking at the two of you with a pained, someone annoyed, look.“Besides, I’m sure it was Satsuki, anyway.” You walk over to the bed, and begin waving in front of Nonon’s face.“Stop faking it.” You say, somewhat annoyed by the small snake’s drama. She turns on her side, facing away from you. You sigh, and walk to the other side of the bed. “I apologize, pink-one.”“It’s Miss Jakuzure to you.” She pouts, suddenly springing to life, slapping you across the face. She tromps back over to the main group, arms crossed, and sticks her tongue out at you. Combined with your first impression, you get the feeling she might not like you.Ryuko is laughing again, and even Satsuki breaks her mask a little, smirking at the outcome. She quickly regains her composure when you meet her eyes, sheathing her sword. “Don’t cross my allies again, Hinode Kiryuin.” So that’s her game. The button. Not the button.

You feel a presence. A dark presence. Her aura makes the entire hospital sink into despair, birds fly away from their nests, and dogs run down alleyways. Anything with any sense of sense and sensibility senses that sense, since it’s so sensible. You feel it wind down the maze of hallways in this healing place, sickening all who she passes. She’s fast, and before you can leap out the window to safety, she’s upon you all. God help everyone. You turn from the windowsill where you are perched, and narrow your eyes to the battered door to your hospital room, now the only thing guarding you from her. The foulest of the foul, lowest of the low. It rasps against the door, that inhumane stub of a hand. Knock. Knock. Knock.“Don’t open that door!” You shout, but too late. Ira, the giant FOOL, has already turned the handle, opening the door for her. You are all cursed to a fate worse than death. It’s a fate with her existence.A small figure walks through the room. Wretched brown hair neatly hidden under a chauffer’s cap, complete with black sunglasses and a black uniform trimmed with gold. It reflects her soul perfectly. She vocalizes those dark, twisted thoughts in her head, “Here is your suit, sir.”You quickly snatch your beloved suit from her dirty, filthy hands, as for it to not suffer her grasp a moment longer. You beat back vomit, repressing the snarl you lips which to make in disgust of having to deal with her. Is this Rei’s revenge for insisting on your suit? Such a heavy price.“Thank you, Maiko Ōgure, you FOUL HEATHENISTIC WRETCH! BEGONE FROM MY SIGHT!” She slinks back, and walks out of the door, whistling a merry tune. “Limo is waiting downstairs, bossman.”“IT IS HINODE KIRYUIN!” You yell, veins popping forth from your temples. You will never forgive her for her transgressions.Never.You have thoroughly confused everyone in the room. What will ye do? Ignore it completely. Address it. Explain while you change.

Tune: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QOt0tW26hRY&feature=kpJust kidding. You head into the adjunct bathroom, excusing yourself from the group to change. Taking care to close the door, you begin to change into your father’s old suit. Yellow. Piss-yellow according to some, but you would describe it as a potent mix of bright-neon for the outer pieces, coupled with a lighter-pastel yellow inner shirt. The belt, the shoes, even the handkerchief stuffed into your coat pocket is the same shade of worn yellow. It clashes elegantly with your bright orange hair. You comb back your untamed hair, waving it slightly in the front. You dislike long hair, and consider it a combat hazard, so you keep it trimmed fairly short. While preparing, you speak at length, somewhat proud of your restoration of the manor. Somewhat hoping they might actually consider it their home.“The mansion has undergone extensive renovation to undo the years of disservice it met under Ragyo’s tyrannical rule as head of the Kiryuin clan. Many of the family heirlooms that were hidden away in attics and storage units are back in prominence, and I’m having a fair amount of them brought to REVOCS HQ.You begin to straighten out any wrinkles you find in your suit, taking care to make everything as perfect as you can. As you tie your shoes, you mention… You can destroy the bathhouse personally, if you wish. The grounds. The dueling hall. The seamstress’ wing.
>>32806481>you can destroy the bathhouse personally if you wish

>>32806481>[x] The dueling hall.I'd rather not bring it up at all, but letting her destroy it is okay too. At least she might appreciate the gesture.
>>32806538>>32806570>>32806630>>32806754>>32806935Yes, I will write accordingly.
>>32806980Oh come on.
Foot goes right in mouth AGAIN.Then again, it can be played off afterwards as a desire to have her purge her darkest memories of this place, so she can properly enjoy its renewed splendor properly. Burn away the old, make way for new, better memories.
>repeated stabbings/beatings>killed Mr Oinky >talked mad shit about Nui>blaming him for Ragyou-induced insanity>probably about to beat the shit out of him for offering to let her demolish the family funhouseShe's right to not trust someone that unstable, but goddamn.
“Also, you can destroy the bathhouse personally, if you wish, Satsuki.”You continue to press out and address the last few wrinkles in your suit; the few imperfections that remain in its grand design. While you aren’t muscular, you are fairly lean and above average height. The suit fits like a glove, even as well-worn and old as it is, feels like it’s new. Your father must have taken great care of it, and you intend to do the same. His legacy, although one of common birth, mustn’t be forgotten. He was a genius, and a maverick in his field; and died standing against a villain. You stare into the mirror a bit, making sure you’re spic and span. Brand and image are important. Not in relation to you as an individual, but as a member of an organization. Play the part, and look the part; otherwise the part will be lost and forgotten. Or made obsolete. You exit the bathroom, standing proud, ready to give the word. The word of refuge to those sisters who haven’t had a home. Or at least a welcoming one. Satsuki and company have already left, leaving only Ryuko. Ryuko alone is standing there, staring at the floor.“Where did everyone go?” You ask, genuinely confused.“They’re downstairs, waiting.” She answer, dryly, not even bothering to look up from the floor.“Well, let’s get moving then, sis-““Don’t.”“What?” You answer, somewhat annoyed by her attitude.“Don’t bring that up, again. For her sake.” She says, looking up with watery eyes. The tears aren’t flowing freely, and are being held back, you can barely notice them. But it’s there. The sadness of betrayal, of a memory meant to be forgotten breathing new life. You’ve struck a nerve, and aren’t sure…Slowly your face goes from smiling to horror, putting two and two together, the social gears in your brain begin to turn. No. She didn’t. Ryuko didn’t even live with her.
>>32808409So, how do you attempt to fix this? Drop the subject. Walk to the limo. Don’t say anything. Extend the demolition offer to her. Try to make a joke. Reassure Ryuko. Apologize. Damage control. Roll 1d10

You’ve fucked up. You realize this.Damage control will work. Your tone is dropped and low, earnestly apologetic. “I didn’t mean to bring that up.”She looks up at you. She’s hurt, but more so, angry. The tears that were being held back are let free, streaming down her pained face.“Didn’t mean to bring that up, huh? Some brother you are.” She shoves you away, and begins walking out the door. She stops and pivots on the spot, pointing to you. “If you were lying about Senketsu…” She chokes up a bit at this point, “You won’t have to worry about Satsuki. I’ll kill you myself.” She exits the room. You want to stop her, reassure her, and try to comfort her. But it’s too late for that. She’s already halfway down the hallway before you begin to follow. One action can make or break governments, businesses, relationships...“Didn’t mean to bring that up, huh? Some brother you are.” You say to yourself, and you begin to walk out the door. You stop and pivot on the spot, pointing to your reflection in the room’s window. “If you were lying about Senketsu…” She chokes up a bit at this point, “You won’t have to worry about Satsuki. I’ll kill you myself.” You exit the room. You look up at her. You’re hurt, but more so, angry. >>32810120Goddamn it, we just want them to be happy. Why do we keep on fucking up.
>>32811019Most people want other people to be happy. It's in human nature to spread contentment. Whether or not you succeed is often up to perception: the perception of the sender in viewing the receiver, and vice versa.Separate note-- just because there is a dice roll attached, doesn't automatically make the choice correct. Don't get lazy with the votes, as there are consequences to every action. Some immediate, some long-term. You avoided the worst choice in the thread at least.
I've been looking at this and the results are appearing quite arbitrary and I'm starting to see rails forming in the sand that is this game.
