OPENING>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F468us4qCUEPreviously: Cerulean arrived upon a mysterious island after a mission to rescue shipwrecked personnel had gone awry due to mysterious humanoid monsters.Meeting the natives, Cerulean found aid in the form of a humanoid monster by the name of Kurojo, a tusked Kahkori of Kakarkiko island. With his and his uncle's help, she had been reunited with Marine, her friend from training and childhood. After killing a fierce foe reviled by Kahkori, Cerulean fell ill, and was given a cure by Kurojo. In the village, she learned of a strange ability and found herself able to utilize "Aura."Journeying with Kurojo, Cerulean and Marine make it to the joint city of races amongst the island chain. It is there in Raguna city that she fights to the death with a rambunctious Smolderan.Slipping out of her right mind, she executes her foe with absolute certainty, earning her some recognition with a Smolderan leader and the right to engage in a hunting exam at his request.Cerulran takes a test with another species known as the Araraki, an infallibly polite and timid representative of her people. Upon completing the hunt, they are put through a naming ceremony and engage in some festivities, taking a somewhat heavier turn as Akabaron, Vi-Smohkan of the Smolderan, goes over his deal with Cerulean.Charter the construction of a boat with Kurojo's aid...Known characters>http://pastebin.com/k2xnqqvBMonster Index>http://pastebin.com/wxwgrCqbCharacter Sheet>http://pastebin.com/7CJx3gq1Twitter:>https://twitter.com/AoPHquestLore>http://pastebin.com/vy0a6Z9r
>>32763860You made a mistake last thread. Cerulean HAD blue eyes, but she replaced it with the Crytten's, which are yellow cat eyes.
>>32763936Huhm.Shouldn't have been present for the dream, but we're going to go with evolution changing the color.
Oh boy time to talk to a ruling figure and hopefully not make him mad.
>>32763969Hmm? What about the dream? I was talking about when the Kahkori woman was attending to Cerulean.
>>32763936No, Prof said that the Crytten eyes were like Blue cat eyes. This was the pic he confirmed
>>32764066Before that, he said they were yellow.
>>32763860>Character Sheet>>http://pastebin.com/7CJx3gq1This still needs some work. I'll make some edits and then post the fixed version in a minute.
>>32764083Well he had already confirmed that they aren't, or weren't.
>>32763860Prof, Ceru's also got a sensitive sense of smell (ie; the first perfume incident with Sanna). I can't recall very well if she has the entire nose or just the smell receptors, however.
>>32763860>>32764215Additionally, you've got it unmentioned that Ceru can plug her nose (and her ears? I'm not sure on this) and has a second pair of eyelids for when she goes swimming underwater.
>>32764238>>32764215Just the smell receptors. She's got a human face. Not cat lip, no cat nose, just cat eyes and cat ears where her normal ears would be. and the second eyelids.
>>32764119>>32763860There. Fixed it up.http://pastebin.com/0uyzHHEAWas unsure if the split horn is supposed to add another bonus to Ice on top of the Freezer Array, but I just set everything up as if it doesn't. If it does, tell me and I'll get to changing this again while you write.
>>32764307Prof mentioned in the QTG that it would give a bonus to moves like Ice Shard, Icicle Gun, and Icy Wind, but not to moves like Ice Claw.
Kurojo is the first to bow, you and Marine replicate the gesture in earnest, hoping not to offend. You keep telling yourself “This is like meeting the president,” over and over again to remind you of the fact that you should maintain decorum. He's the ruler of this city and all the races where-within. Marine's not quite as tense, still quite hung up on being dressed like a boy. Kurojo though? From his aura, you can tell that he's both mortified and elated to be here. You kind of share the sentiment, you'd rather not have the attention of a regent upon you.Yasake raises a hand, given permission to speak by the man beyond the veil. “My honorable Lord Hao, I've been advised to inform you that Lady Ultramarine, the most handsome lady in red, has an interest in the radiance of your hindquarters.”Your blood freezes, and you can almost hear the tension in Kurojo's body snapping at the servant's words. Marine swallows, looking more than a bit bashful and offering a nervous smile and wave.Laughter rings out from the screen, the figure shadowed beyond throwing his head back in uproarous laughter. “And did you advise the lovely lady of its picturesque composition?”“That I did, my lord.”“And that as loyal as a servant you are, as you are not of the fairer sex, we must exclude you from those that shower it with affection?”“I spared them details, yet I did my lord.”You wince at the dialogue as Jojo's skin crawls as the two of you listen to the conversation. Marine can't help but do all she can to suppress her laughter.
Gosh, we left the Dome a furred little girl with some ice powers and our hand guns.Well come back a hardened lithe cat evolved veteran. Before the only serious fight we had been in was with ni'aras. Now we've killed a Nar'kage, that Water monster, a Feraligator, a Smolodhan, and fought a bunch more things.
>>32764349Oh man, he really did it. What a butler.
>>32764348I'm sure he has some sort of behind the scenes bonus to damage or has it in his notes to write the effects as being a little bit more biting, but I was referring to whether or not I should include a modifier to the rolls themselves.
>>32764366Talk about a pilgrimage to adulthood.
>>32764349Marine.This is why you can't wear dresses.
>>32764366>Come home>Devon tries to start shit>Simply narrow eyes at him and crank up the passive cryokinesis so that everything around us starts to ice over and crack>then hug him
>>32764366They'll barely recognize us.It's kinda poetic/cool/givesmefunnyfeelings.
>>32764435>implying he won't have one of those scenes where he watches a girl walk by in slow mo with some soft rock playing
>>32764435It's nice to have powers that can be used to non-lethally prank people.Speaking of which, I still want to kill that baby Mankey. One day...
“We are pleased, and you have done well Yasake. Now please, tell the kitchen to prepare a tea and have a brunch ready in half an hour's time.” Lord Hao snaps his fingers and Yasake vanishes in a split second, almost as though he was never there. The figure waves a hand in a most ceremonious manner before him,”Now please, take a seat, make yourself comfortable.”You see three cushions before you and a small table that's barely a foot off of the ground. You count the table as being no less than 20 paces from the shade and the throne. The pillows to sit upon are red, blue, and yellow, in that order. You sit on the yellow one, next to Kurojo. After the three of you take your seats, the figure from beyond the shade, sits back down into his throne, leaning into what looks like a half-curled fist to rest his head. A rather lazy posture for a regent.“So outlanders, what brings you to our great city of unity? And how have you come to travel with a son of beasts?”>[Where do you begin?]>The shipwreck mission.-include/exclude>Washing up on the beach.-Include/exclude>Why you came to the city.-To go home.-To hunt monsters(Half truth)-To live here. We look like a Smolder, so he's likely to assume that we're up to something with the Smolders and may have us more closely watched or something.
>>32764635He already knows we come from a dome, we don't need to lie to him about this. I mean really, is it so bad to reveal that we, a lost little girl, want to go home?
>>32764635Hell think it's suspicious that we dont want to go home
>>32764488>“So outlanders, what brings you to our great city of unity? And how have you come to travel with a son of beasts?”We were Hunter trainees. We were out at sea when a storm arrived and we were shipwrecked. We washed up on the island of Kakarkiko, where we met Kurojo.Working together with Kurojo, we became Hunters, one of the youngest to live.We come here to learn more about this city, and the monsters that live near it. Perhaps then, we will know how to go home.
>>32764488>>32764610Expanding.>Shipwreck MissionWhy we're traveling at sea - It was part of our job as 'hunters' of our own people. There are monsters at sea that can harm our people and it's our job to fight these threats.I'm wondering whether or not to include the fact that we also have ships, but it might just be best for him to think our people are just capable of traveling through the sea naturally? It wouldn't be a lie to say our people are capable of that, since the majority of the rangers, if not all, in Cerulean Gym really can swim and breathe underwater.>>32764689True, yeah. And he could help on that matter. We don't know where these islands are in relation to our home. We just came here looking for clues. And seeing as how the Governor-General and his people seem very knowledgeable, such that they already know our language, they might be a good source for information. So one could say we were lucky to have bumped into them.
>>32764773>We were out at sea when a storm arrived and we were shipwrecked. We were out at sea DURING a storm and we were shipwrecked.
>>32764488>The Shipwreck missionExclude details, but we can mention "we were on a ship, it wrecked.">Washing up on the beachInclude helping Jojo take down the Nar-kage, and that we journeyed to the city via Tropius and a Hunting vessel, but don't bore him with the minutiae [e.g. leave out the Pikachu hunt]. >Why you came to the cityWe want to hunt monsters, and the city is a good place for that.[Don't mention that we want to hunt monsters >at our home<, just that we want to hunt monsters]As for why we travel with Jojo, he helped us fight monsters.
>>32764773The last one is falseWe came here to go home

>>32764526Shitstorm will happen whenever someone perceives that Prof does something that they think is railroading...ie: that their actions might have consequences.

>>32764871what's there to see through? I already put in that we're trying to go home.
>>32764871But...that IS what we came here to do. We can't find our way home if we don't know where we are in the first place.

>>32764951Oh my fuck. Don't sperg out. Why did you reply? Just so that you can insult him and talk about how "right" your side is? God. If you want other people to be mature, you gotta learn how to not be a shithead yourself.
>>32764953learn about the CITY. Where it exists on a map.Besides that, knowing about the general environment is useful for knowing what kind of monsters live around here and might attack, and you always make the effort to learn this sort of thing in a deathworld.
>>32764985But someone was wrong....ON THE INTERNET!
>>32764990You're just as bad as them. Even worse since you gotta egg them on. Barely any of you actually knows how to act like a sensible person.
One thing is for certain. Marine isn't allowed to talk anymore.
>>32765011I don't fucking care. And in my eyes, both of you were wrong anyway. Yes, fuckers get assmad when bad stuff happens. And yes. Prof can fuck up and railroad too hard. I hope Prof updates soon. This daisy chain of moral "nuh uh"oneupmanship is a tad demoralizing.

>>32765175Probably just history reclaiming. We come from a veritable treasure island.
>>32765237>40-50 mins an update.So.... this quest?Actually scratch that, prof takes about an hour.
>>32765237That's Prof at worst, yep.
>>32765313Uh, reclaiming. History hunting. Archaeology. We got the same thing in real life.
>>32765313Well, whatever you call it when the brotherhood of steel raids an intact and still functioning vault.
“Well...” You take a deep breath, taking initiative as the first to speak. You remember what Akabaron said... Don't tell them the plan, don't trust the tuskless, and don't lie. You still yourself, where to start. You begin with telling Lord Hao about how you washed up upon the beach of Kakarkiko, explaining how you met Kurojo and saved Marine from strange bramble creatures. You omit your travels, and don't mention the dome, and you feel relieved that the regent is listening intently even as tea is brought in.He doesn't interrupt, though you feel as though he does indeed have questions to ask.Marine comes in now and then, taking your lead in some of the details, and come to why you're in Raguna city. You pause, and you're suddenly uncertain whether you should tell him that you want to go home.“Something the matter, honored guest?” Yasake watches you carefully, seeming to catch your pause. You take a sip of tea to alleviate the pause. The brew reminds you have something the celadons would come up with in a cafe, only it's much more rich, earthy, and unique. It's as though you're tasting the forest with every sip. “The herbs for the tea come from our most esteemed island, Arcea. The power of wave infuses them with the flavor of the land itself, and suffuses its energy to rejuvinate both body and soul.” Lord Hao explains to you as you marvel at the tea. Marine's next to take a sip, melting at the amazing flavor.Kurojo lets his go cold, in little mood for the tea.“Now, now, son of beasts. Where are your manners? You are invited to our hospitality.” The lord chuckles from beyond the veil, and Kurojo reluctantly picks up the tea for a sip.“Now then, Lady White, you were saying something about why you came here?”> I came here to become a hunter.> I came here to find a way home.
>>32765324It's not reclaiming if the owners are still alive
>>32765332> I came here to find a way home. But nobody has much in the way of big maps. The hunters seem to know the lay of the land very well, though.
>>32765332> I came here to find a way home.We didn't really come here to be a hunter anyway.
>>32765332>> I came here to find a way home.Do. Not. Lie.
>>32765332>I came here to find a way home.Because seriously, he fucking knows we come from a dome, we don't need to hide that.
>>32765332>I came here to learn. Of the land, and the monsters.
>>32765356That's, uh, not really a requirement of history reclamation.
>>32765414Well if they try to "reclaim" our shit they'll get a helluva lot more than they can handle.Boss would just send Loreli, Misty, and Sabrina.Though Loreli could just Ice each of their islands one by one if she wanted too. Then Death, so much Death.
>>32765451We can't play diplomatic strongarm like that until we actually get back to the dome, however.
>>32765451It's nice to know how much we've built up Boss and the Elite 4 in our minds. Authority figures are nice to have for a child.
>>32765332> I came here to become a hunter.Because becoming a hunter is needed to go home.
>>32765332Gotta go home
>>32765468Obviously.We just gotta get back.
>>32765451>Hao gives no shits about tusked>sending just three instead of the entire Elite Four against Hao AsakuraI think you've made a big mistake.
>>32765332Didn't we think that this place would be on the same island as our place, but it turned out way too small and dissapointed us greatly?
>>32765531You really think anything on this island could get within 50 yards or Loreli if she didn't want them there?Same goes with Sabrina, only make it 250 yards.
It just hit me that this whole situation is kinda like that movie Homeward Bound, except instead of random household animals trying to get home we're a terrifying combination of terrifying not-so-household animals trying to get home .All we need is a musical number and we're set. How's Ceru's singing voice?>>32765332Also voting for finding a way home
>>32765565We never thought that?It was Kurojo who got disappointed when we told the captain of the ship that we were from the "City Behind The Glass" instead of the "mainland".
>>32765580>How's Ceru's singing voice?Not as good as Mable's.
>>32765531Dude, our mom could be a walking blizzard if she wanted. a Deep Freeze Arctic blizzard that nothing survives.
>>32765606Well, a Rank 10 Snarl was stated to be strong enough to scare a Legendary, and as a member of the Elite 4, Lorelei has got to have a few rank 10 moves.
>>32765605So it was Mable singing!!!
“We came here to find a way home...” You say staring down into the amber-green tea, avoiding eye contact as the vapors tickle your nostrils.Lord Hao takes a sip of his own brew from beyond his screen. “So you wish to return to your city of glass?”“Yes,” You nod, and Marine looks over at you from across Kurojo. “We want to go home, but we don't know how. We've heard that the waters are plagued by monsters, and that the only boats that travel ride on currents that most monsters dislike.”“Indeed, this is so.” Lord Hao sets his drink down. “If we understand this correctly, you travel with a son of beasts. With him, you have become hunters to find a way home. A home of which you came from from a distant shore. Are we wrong?”“No, my lord.” You say, meekly bowing your head as your friends maintain their respective silence.“Would it then be wise for us to assume that you would ask for our help?”>Yes...>No...
If he asks how we plan to get home, just say the plan is still largely up in the air (I wish we could get a hot air balloon). We need to figure out which is way is home, how far, a decent forecast on the weather, supplies for the journey etc.>>32765491Guv Gen's word choice for the question would make this a lie. if he asked why we came here, not what are you doing here or what have you done or something along those lines. We came here because we were told this is the mainland. and it was, just not our mainland
>>32765626Rank 10 BlizzardRank 10 Sheer ColdRank 10 Frost Breathetc etc etc
We could totally upgrade Icy Wind to rank 7, which would then get the +2 and be effectively rank 9.Man that would be cool if it had any chance of happening. I want to see just how hard thi can hit.
>>32765574>underestimating Hao>underestimating a man with a will of iron that stole the Spirit of Fire, which may as well be a legendary in Pokemonk.
>>32765633We can't really refuse in this situation, can we?>YesWe might even be able to get a ship commissioned through him, depending on how helpful he wants to be.
>>32765633"What can you offer? and what would be asked of us in return?"
>>32765633noWith respect we would like to find our own way
>>32765651It might be effectively a rank 10 or higher depending on how those new horns work.
>>32765660This isn't your shitty anime insert, his name is just similar.
>>32765633>No..."I am afraid we have little to offer as repayment."
>>32765633>>32765666A combination of yes and no?Yes, we'd like help, but we don't want to ask too much, even if it's offered. Our people need to be self-reliant (Rockets) and we can't take too much of a handout. We may be even shunned by some (Sabrina) if we relied too much on others (these humanoid tribes) help.
>>32765633"no"plain and simple, nothing else added
>>32765633>No, it's bad enough we got involved in the politics of the hunters, since that favors our skillset, it would be needlessly imposing upon the ruling caste of an entire nation to our own ends.
>>32765633>Yes, but we have nothing to offer in return.
>>32765633If we refused, wouldn't he asked how we plan to get home?>Yes...
>>32765633>YesBecause if we say anything else, that implies that we are getting help from someone else. And I'm sure he knows that the Smolder's know, and that would make it seem like we are working with them.
>>32765633Ah crap. I don't even know here.>Maybe a little>Do you have any maps?
>>32765774Then we remain silent
>>32765633>YesJust try to mitigate how much help we're looking for by saying we'd feel ashamed if we asked too much, we don't have much else to give, some of our people may shun us if we received too much help, etc.

>>32765633>>No...Then remain silent
>>32765764You know he'll ask us to be his consort or something, have a child or two, etcIt accomplishes profs timeskip goal without putting us home or close to it, so it's the perfect outcome for him.
>>32765831Akabaron specifically said that we should remain silent if they ask us a question we cannot answer without lying.
>>3276584517 threads of us being a consort before the timeskip? That's dumb.

>>32765862>“Don't answer, and wait for them to change the subject.” Akabaron gives you a little poke on your horn. “It irritates them. Answer when they're mad and they might forget to watch you for lies. Won't do much if there's a sane one around though... And...” He leans closer, the burning fumes of alcohol upon his words,” Don't trust the one you travel with. He may be tusked, but the tuskless may still seek to use him against you.”Here's the quote, for everyone to see.
>>32765864No, I mean he gets to skip all those threads and skip now, saving him effort.
>>32765899It proves i'm right. He is the only one here, so we wait until he either changes the subject or gets mad.
>>32765933Yasake is still around.
>>32765974He left. And we can wait here all day
We're just potential leverage in a power struggle between Tuskless and Smolder.I'm for backing the Smolders if it ever comes to war, toppling the Tuskless would yield more good will towards us/the dome than what would we get from "the chosen people of Arceus". The destabilization of that theocratic despotism would probably help foster dependence on the dome as well in the regime change period. imo.
>>32765997He didn't leave, though. It doesn't matter, anyway, this is just in regards to lying.
I just noticed something big.Something really -really- big.Now that our Freezer Array has evolved, it no longer has the -5 penalty to fire moves. That's waaaaay bigger than the fact that it gives +2 to Ice now, because Ceru is very well suited to operations in frozen wastelands but all of those creatures there resist Ice to some degree between 1/2 and 1/8.
>>32766012I like the Smolders, and the Tuskless, and the ArarakiI do not like the Tuskless.
>>32766043And the tusked
>>32766039So when do we meet the guy with Charizard + Barioth implants?
>>32766039That will be strictly a fire weapon, though. There's no way Ceru is learning fire moves with the setup she has now.
>>32766080Remoriad can learn flamethrower
>>32766080Octillery can learn flamethrower and fire blast as tms, which means that someone from Cinnabar could teach us.
>>32766104>>32766105>a fish/octopus learns flamethrowerdamnit Pokemon, I just don't know anymore
>>32766105Can also learn Incinerate.>>32766121A fish/octopus based off of a handgun and an artillery cannon respectively.
>>32766121It's actually the gun pokemon
>>32766039>>32766080>>32766104>>32766105>>32766121However, Fighting (aka Aura) is super effective against Ice, and seems like it would have less problems working underwater, I'd rather get something to help with Water pokemon.
>>32766157Aura cannot be used underwater.Runs into the same "disturbed air" problem.
>>32766157Octillery can also learn energy ball
>>32766157Trust the Araraki ally, I suppose.Water's only weak to Grass and Electric, neither of which we have at the moment.
>>32766188Huh? I must have missed that, where was that said? If Aura Sphere and shit straight up don't work underwater, I doubt Fire moves would, either, though.>>32766189>>32766198Yeah, Energy Ball is perfect
>>32766188>>32766240He's confusing it for Marine's radar-fin.Aura is usable underwater. It's against flying enemies that's the problem.
>>32765633Ask him how much it would cost?
>>32766240>>32766265It's more logic, if Aura can't deal with a gust of wind, how will it deal with the ever changing currents of water? The reason Aura cannot be used againt flying types is because it cannot deal with air that has been "disturbed" or "stirred up" it needs a calm medium to work through.
So as an aside, who wants to bet this tea is drugged?
>>32766309Um, did Prof ever say that, or is that just you, because the reason Flying types are resistant to Aura is because Flying is strong against Flying. Water doesn't have that problem.
“No, I did not come here to ask for help.” You look over to Marine,” We came here to find our own way, it's what we've been taught.”“And yet, you travel with a son of beasts, receiving his aid?”Kurojo raises a hand before you speak. He waits to be called upon, yet the figure pays him no mind and you can feel why. He asked- you.“He offered to help us, and Jojo is our friend.”“That's right.” Marine agrees, elbowing Jojo much to his chagrin as he sets his hand down.“We see...” Lord Hao muses, sipping down more of his drink before setting it down upon a table at his side. “Guards. Yasake. Leave us. We wish to speak in private with our honored guests.” Lord Hao says with a sudden commanding tone, some of the mirth he bore before lost in his word.“At once, My lord. What shall I do about the kitchen?”“Knock twice upon the door, and then twice again.”“Certainly, my lord.” Yasake departs, as do the guards, though the Kahkori look back with confused expressions, eyeing you and marine carefully as they leave their master's side.Once they leave, Lord Hao continues. “So you'll be finding your own way home to your city of glass. Tell us, what is the name of your dome? We are interested. We have read scripts of Pallet, Saffron, Goldenrod, and Newbark. How do they fair against the test of Arceus and time?”“Wh-”“We expect an answer.” The tone is saccharine, yet the feel of his aura is oppressive, radiating amidst the smoky incense, visibly contorting the particles and forcing them into patterns like a wave.> “Kanto... I do not know of a Saffron, but this dome's center is Pallet.”> Say nothing.
>>32766357derp, Flying is strong against Fighting.

>>32766309Uh, best not to think too hard on it. Prof himself didn't know what to do to interpret Fighting's weakness against Flying.Just go by the rules in the game. Fighting is weak against Flying, Fairy, and Poison. That's it.>>32766381Keep silent, I suppose.

>>32766494Dran that is REALLY stretching it and you know it. The reason is entirely due to game balance reasons. GF wants Fariy to be strong enough to be Dragon slayers, so they give it LOTS of SEs and few weaknesses. Tryst me dont try to rationalize it. Your head will spin.
>>32766381> “Kanto... I do not know of a Saffron, but this dome's center is Pallet.”You do NOT make a regent unhappy.
>>32766528Though, I already voted once, so don't count this as a double vote.Just, you know, a moderate solution might just be offering to buy a copy of those scripts.
>>32766494Naw, it's usually more like>Why is that SO GODDAMN PRETTY I can't PUNCH THAT!!!except Mr. Mime, Mr. Mine are simply far too creepy to ever touch voluntarily.

>>32766827Oh my bad. That's probably Profs mistake
>>32766849>>32766827Yeah, "I've never heard of a place called Saffron" would be a strait up lie, "A dome called Saffron? I've never heard of that." would be true.
>>32766381"They are militant and xenophobic. It's why I'm hesitant to rely on outsiders for help."
>>32766921Well, he never called it a dome so it would sound like diversion.
>>32766936While completely true, is not exactry the best way to foster positive relations
>>32766997Do we want to foster positive relations?
>>32766985He DIRECTLY called them domes. Like used that exact wording. Remember this is NOT an illiterate peasant we are dealing with here. He is a Lord and probably blood related to their emperor. SO he knows his shit, left right and center. We are going to have to speak very carefully about our home to him in order to not give away info. Or hell we COULD just side with the tuskless and get a free ride home if they know all of the dome locations.
>>32767050As long as we're stuck in this guys political reach I'd say it'd be to our advantage to get on his good side while protecting our good side.

>>32767148He mentioned multiple names. He MIGHT know where they are. or at least the general direction which we need to go in to find them. If we are going home it is a start.
>>32767075Yeah but being honest and saying that the Dome is very unlikely to show much gratitude and that why we're trying to find our own way home could be saving him some trouble.Because as it stands with the Smolders, there's a good chance they'll be greeted with a kill squad.
>>32767199We could say that, yes. If he gets annoyed enough.
>>32767196He probably knows they exist, but he doens't know where or how to get to the mainland
Kurojo's eyes go wide, and you can feel his confusion. Slowly, he's beginning to realize that he likely shouldn't be here. He doesn't understand what the tuskless is talking about, and he doesn't seem to understand. You take a deep breath of the rich smoke, steadying yourself and simply saying nothing as the oppressive aura continues. After a few moments, it quiets, and the regent slouches back into his chair.“It is a gambit you play, to deny us an answer when faced with a question. I notice that you seem reserved, as though you do not trust us. We noticed when you first arrived here and it is present in all three of you. You come to our city, join the guild of hunters, seek a way home, and yet you have nothing to ask of us? Out of pride?” He rubs at his chin, standing up.“Honestly...” You see him stepping down from his thrown, walking towards the edge of the screen. “Son of Beasts, you seem to be in the worst form of all. You have no idea who these girls are, do you? Did your blood rob you of reason? Deprive you of your natural curiosity?”Kurojo mumbles, his head hung low.“We could not hear you, speak up, or has Arceus deprived you of words as well?”“I respect them, my lord... I do not mean to offend...” Kurojo blinks back some tears, Marine lending him a hand. “I do not mean to offend my lord, I am simply a hunter of beasts. Please, I am not worthy my lord.” He shakes his head slowly, as if to get away, as though he should get up and leave, yet his body does not listen.
The figure from beyond the screen reaches out to the partition and pulls it back, revealing what looks like...A human with a feathered body. His hair is composed entirely of long soft feathers, tied up to allow the soft shimmering feathers, that radiate each a slightly different gem-like hue of reds and oranges, to fall back down over the sides and back of his head. Lord Hao is garbed in silks that simply can not match the radiance of his own body, the soft downy feathers emerging from his sleeves gives his ever gesture the appearance that he glows.“Perhaps this would convince my most honored guests otherwise.” He bats his feathery eyelashes slowly, the golden accents sparkling, his eyes marked by dark makeup at the corners. An eyeliner? The literally radiant man steps forward, with a methodical, calculated stride, setting himself before the three of you, and sitting at the same table as you three. He does not make eye contact with any one of you.“If indeed you do come from the domes, as we must surmise by your silence, I might even assume one from the mythical Hoenn. That is, if such stories are to be true, then again, you are living proof? By chance, do you have proof?” His smile returns and Marine's nearly melting in the beautiful man's light.>[Your response?]
>>32764307>Ice Spikesswitch that to Cartillage Spikes or Climbing Spur. The spike isn't made of ice.
>>32767360I don't know how he is trying to convince us here.Is he trying to be pretty at us?
>>32767360Before all this happened, wasn't it a thing that we couldn't get in touch with the Hoenn dome?
>>32767433>Is he trying to be pretty at us?Yes. Beware of the pretty.
>>32767468The only reason we're still lucid is our own high charm, isn't it?
>>32767468Well too can play at that game.
>>32767360>Before I can give you an answer, Lord Hao, I need to ask you a question. Have you met any others who have claimed they come from the Dome? Others who look like me and my companion? Our people keep to ourselves. Our leaders demand it of us. And if we were to make it home, we would be unable to keep any secret of what we've said or shared from them; they would take everything from our mind. So I do not know what I can tell you, a man with such a high position amongst your people, without incurring or bringing down any consequences upon you all.Something like this. Differently worded to suit Ceru, anyway.
>>32767360Our existence and words are proof enough. You wouldn't even have met with us today if you weren't already convinced we had some secret to tell.
>>32767360>An entire species of pretty bishie boys. Are you fucking kidding prof. Srsly why? As for our response go evil mode. He is either trying to level an esper illusion at us or use his natural aura to charm us. Then, CALMLY, respond in such a way that denies him proof. Tell him we cant trust anything he says or something i dont know.ALso the tea is laced with confusion power or something calling it right now. DO we have any full heals we can discreetly activate?
>>32767468Also he's revealed that he basically looks like a human with shining feathers. He doesn't even have a beak.
>>32767360Now I'm just confused. What kind of reaction is he looking for with that?Just look confused and completely unaffected by the pretty.
>>32767433No, he is showing he is part human. I think.>"What truly do you know? We need to know more, before we can speak anything."
>>32767536Yeah. The tuskless are pretty human looking. So combined with them knowing human language (and teaching it to trusted servants?), they're looking more and more like a human supremacist group.
>>32767360>mythical Hoenn. They've never established contact, all they have is old notes. >>32767360Show him the index.
>>32767450Wasn't the storm blocking our transit to it? Or was that another one?>>32767468I don't know how to react to this, prof.>>32767360Ask him what he is trying to, uh, do. Be generally confused.Maybe ask him if he has a map of any of these places.
>>32767581He's human, he's probably from the domes.
>>32767591Don't you dare!
>>32767603That or the Tuskless are less mutated then the Tusked.
>>32767360Akhabaron can vouch for us.

>>32767527I'd rather not mention esper bullshit, but sure we can say that we do not know what we can tell him.>>32767536It really doesn't change what we should do, though. Being mostly human does not command complete trust.
He's part Fairy, that's why the tuskless rule the tusked and that's why Jojo is breaking down.
>>32767633See>>32767601We can't mention him.
Prof, was Yasake or the guards tuskless?
>>32767603No hes not. Nothing ever pointed to that.
>>32767659>Do tell them about Akabaron if need be. There's not much worry there.>Do
>>32767633see>>32764895>>32767603Just because he might be human doesn't make him a friend/ally
>>32767646>I'd rather not mention esper bullshit, but sure we can say that we do not know what we can tell him.We don't even need to mention Espers. He can already sense lies himself. And we can say/imply our loyalty to the Dome stretches up to us not being able to lie to them. Simple.
>>32767677Even the girls at the spa?
>>32767677>>32767684Oh, we can totally tell him about Akabaron then.
Can we just tell him we don't want to get involved?Or that it's not our place to tell people about our home?
>>32767603>>32767686There's nothing that points to him being human. It's like the Dagoons, only the ones ruleing the fighting (working) class this time are Fairy instead of Psychic.

>>32767650Makes way more sense than esper
>>32767360>>32767646>>32767687Actually, that might be good. If we can imply that our superiors in the Dome are just like the tuskless, possibly with even better skill at detecting lies, that might make him more cooperative with us.
>>32767728I like this idea, it's true, and nonthreatening
>>32767714Yep.The relationship between the tusked and the tuskless isn't as strained as Jojo made it out to be.

>>32767770They look down on the tusked because they don't look more human. They even compared them to the Smolders. So they likely have a high opinion of those who stick more closely to their natural origin.

>>32767728yes, yes we can
>>32767728It IS the truth. We don't want to get involved in politics because Marine and ourselves are just hunters, talented but new.Maybe the Dome will wish to send forth ambassadors after hearing of what's going on here, or maybe they'd rather pretend there's nothing but monsters outside the Dome, we can't really say.
Read in the archives last couple threads someone was curious as to what system I had used for my AoPH game, the one with the Pineco graft who wanted to die gloriously in his own explosion. Here it is. Look past the Poser art and sometimes sketchy formatting, and you get a fairly solid system that's easy to run. http://thevictorysystem.com/What I did was essentially scrap all the powers given in the books, and used the ability construction rules in the Equipment Manual to design all the moves.
>>32767728True.Like for all we know, our superiors would consider us giving any information away a crime. And they have ways of seeing what we've done while we were away.
>>32767919I doubt he cares whether we want to get involved or not.
>>32767728I think everyone can agree with this?maybe a side of>>32767919
>>32767919Yeah. I guess, if needed, we could bump responsibility to handling stuff like that to our leaders like Giovanni. You feel a touch to your chin and your vision is drawn into his own. You bite at your lip to keep yourself from being seduced by his gorgeous eyes. You need to keep your heart firm.“We do not like being lied to. Especially by one so lovely.” The same hand upon your chin moves to brush against your face and you shiver.“I... I... have my index. We record monsters in them...” You unconsciously reach for your forearm where it's usually located. Yet you only feel your own fur... You grab again. Where could it be? It should by right there.“M-my lord.”“Shhh...” He breathes out gently, “You are missing something, We can tell. You have proof that you cannot show us, though it is only because it is absent.” He smiles, his lips turning, and a very human profile grinning to you.“You can trust me.”“No...” You shake your head, pulling away, your heart a flutter. “No, I can't... I don't want to get involved...” You breath, clutching your chest. He makes you feel so... What is that?“Why? What makes you so scared?” He lets you slip away, turning his attention upon Marine, who's already steaming from the ears, “Perhaps your lovely friend may tell us?”“Uh...” Marine's eyes flicker to you. “Uh...” Her blue cheeks flush deeply, she giggles, “I dunno...”“Truly?” Lord Hao muses.Suddenly there are two knocks at the door.“Please my lord..” Kurojo still begs, looking down at the table, gripping the feathers at his legs. A second set of knocks.“Please... You are too radiant.”

>>32768336No point. Read the post.>“Why do you distrust me?”So saying we were "told not to" means we were told, specifically, not to trust HIM.The second option ALREADY means our superiors, like Giovanni, don't want us to share too much information of our home.
>>32768324Second>>32768224Just> “We aren't allowed to talk about our home.”
>>32768224> (Other)Because you're a representative of a very large institution. We're not in a position to decide how to work with you guys. We need to talk to the boss.
>>32768363that has nothign to do with my post>>32768368So we JUST reply>> “We aren't allowed to talk about our home.”
>>32768224>[X] “We aren't allowed to talk about our home.”This is true.
Oh man, this guy is a shiny poke-human whatever he is, I bet installing his parts (no innuendo intended) would have phenomenal results.
>>32768392Yeah this. It'll intrigue him as well, which is good.
>>32768435The Emperor would be even MORE shiny. All the tuskless are shinies! All of them!Or they're just peacocks.
>>32768443No, that is very bad, it'll make him try to pump us for more info, which we cannot resist.
>>32768224>> “We aren't allowed to talk about our home.”This and only this
>>32768224>> “We aren't allowed to talk about our home.”Make it clear we're bottom of the line of command.
>>32768392We should be avoiding getting further tangled with the tuskless, not trying to meet the emperor. Not like they'd say yes anyways
>>32768224"How can you act like this, and then ask me why I distrust you?"
>>32768512He means OUR Boss, You know, Giovanni.
>>32768512I think he meant OUR Boss.Which is true, but it still leaves us open for interrogation.
>>32768547Ah, right. My bad reading comprehension.
>>32768224Um... we not allow talk of home.
Wait, are we really not allowed to talk about home, or have we just been operating under the assumption that we're not allowed to talk about home?Like when Giovanni and Sabrina briefed us on the other sapient races thing, did they say "and don't share any intel, or else" or is that just what we took away from the encounter?
>>32768748Like I know we're not allowed to tell other rangers about the Indigo Files, but I forget if we were ever told not to be cultural ambassadors.
>>32768748We don't think they'd want us to share information, we haven't been explicitly told not to.But it's good. As long as we think they wouldn't want us to, it's still something we would, personally, consider true.
>>32768748I can't remember.I don't mind giving away that we're from pallet. But we ARE from a secret dome village. Secret.
“We aren't allowed.. to talk about our home.” You try breathing, only to catch yourself being drawn back into his immaculate visage.“Ah, so I see.” Lord Hao murmurs, laughing a bit under his breath. “Well, nothing to be done then. That part bores us anyway. Like something my older brother would be interested in...” He rises and returns to beyond his screen, denying you his visage and allowing you to organize your thoughts again.“Come in.” Lord Hao calls, and the door opens. You want to run, but Kurojo puts a hand upon your shoulder, slowly shaking his head as food is delivered.“We leave when he says we can. Ceru... We are in his nest. The city is his nest. To anger him...”Exhaling through your nostrils, you settle back down. Kahkori tradition. When in another's house you must respect them, their family, their things, and their hospitality. If you do that, they will respect you as well. But... was what he just did... respectful? As you ponder that you look to Kurojo. He's a statue. He absolutely dreads being here now.You wonder if he'll beat you with questions once this is over, or if he'll continue to respect your privacy and pretend this never happened.“Brunch” carries on with the four of you eating, making idle chat as Lord Hao switches the conversation to some of his court affairs. Literal court affairs.“And you know, you a daughter of beasts, she really lived up to her name, never have we seen a woman squirm so gleefully beneath us. By Arceus, I'll forever remember her name... Mayteri.”“Neytiri, my lord.” Yasake's returned, standing to the side and somewhere between you and the lecherous Governer-General.“Right, right, indeed. Neytiri of Uakamm isle. Indeed. Wonder if they make them all that way from there...”
If anything, we need to say that we are not proper ambassadors. We can tell them we wish to go home, and then we'll send proper ambassadors to meet with them and everyone else in power and such.I think we can make a deal like that.
Kurojo keeps his eyes shut, simply waiting for this to all be over. Marine's eyes keep hazing over now and then as she seems to be busy with her own thoughts. The intermission of brunch ends however and you feel that Lord Hao has more to ask of you.“Well, we have other appointments to attend to. For now, We must bid you farewell.” Lord Hao nods from behind the screen, casting a hand out to Yasake.“Yasake, come here.”“Yes my lord?” The servant strides up to the screen, seeming to lean against it. Parting, he offers a bow to his master, turns toward the three of you. “I shall see you out, Jojo, Ultramarine, with me to the changing room.”“What about me?” You ask.“We will send your equipment home, my lord has bid for you to keep the dress.”You start to smile at first, and then you think of the one that's giving it...> “Thank you my Lord...”> “You can keep it.”
>>32768906> “Thank you my Lord...”Keep it. Someone put an effort to making it anyway, he just ordered it. Just focus on that.
>>32768906Eh, I LIKED the tailor who made it. It was kind of funny, how grouchy she was.Think of it as being from her, instead of him.
>>32768906Is this one of those hospitality things? He'll be mad if we don't, won't he? That's a dumb thing to make him mad about after all this.
>>32768906I have a question, Prof.Does the second option mean we would get our equipment back right now?
>>32768906>Thank you my lord...Can't deny the hospitality. We should ask to take our equipment ourselves, though. Do not fucking trust them with our shit.
>>32768906>> “Thank you my Lord...”>"May I ask to be allowed to thank the tailor of this wonderful dress as well?"
>>32768906>[x] “You can keep it.”Show some willpower
>>32768940It's a nice dress, and it's actually tailored to fit us, which most clothes will not.
>>32768906>> “Thank you my Lord...”Pretty good hospitality. Would be rude to refuse keeping the dress.
>>32768906>[x] “Thank you my Lord...”Zero reason to piss him off further. Besides we need to be AWAY from here, NOW! Fuck at least he wasnt actually an esper so we managed to stand our ground.
>>32768906Yeah, keep it. Plenty of reasons to that don't even involve pleasing him; we could use a fancy dress.
Well, now that that is over, that guy wasn't SO bad.Just kind of creepy and in a position of frightening authority.
>>32768906More important question, is he going to lay claim to our index if we leave here or did we have the foresight to leave it with our gear back at our current base of operations?I don't recall.
>>32769062I'm wondering where our Index got put, too.
>>32768906>> “Thank you my Lord...”Duh
>>32769062Prof mentioned something being missing on our person early on in the last thread when we were dressing up. I wasn't sure what it was.So either our Index was missing back then or it was taken off when Ceru was getting fitted for the dress.
>>32769059>Hao used charm.>It was super effective on Jojo. Fucker flat out attacked us and you say he wasnt so bad. Are you nuts?
>>32769062I don't think we brought it
>>32768906Let's see if we can get our index back.
>>32769095He didn't order his guards to take us and torture us or any shit like that though. All in all, good visit.
>>32769059>mind dominating aura +libidosuch a combination is conducive to Ceru saying "I wub dis dick" with her mouth fulllewd and rude? Mother would weep.
>>32769156Yeah, he's totally got some powerful pheromones going on. It's no wonder why he asked everyone else in the room to leave and why Kurojo tried not to look at him.
>>32769191His kind are fairy types. They are kinda known for that.
>>32769211>fairy type>like Lilacif she ever grasps the extent of powers....
Oh snap. Now I get the rumors of this guy possibly doing Nala.God. We should have asked him about it, damnit.>>32769259Different kind. Lilac's pokemon lies to and deceives people with its voice while confusing/attracting them with its scent.
>>32769259I think they're pure fairy. Lilac is only half, and her half is geared more towards psuedo dark. Then again, she looks like she could go the whole succubus route pretty easy.
>>32769259The pheromones that come out of the false mouth HAVE been mentioned several times so yeah its going to happen. BE AFRAID!
>>32769300I don't know, what makes you think he isn't Fighting/Fairy?
>>32769391I don't know about him, but I'm pretty sure they came from the same "base" form. So instead of the tusked Kahkori evolving away from the tuskless, I'm guessing they're just two separate branches and the tuskless are just trying to convince the tusked otherwise.
>>32769391Hes a pretty bishie boy what no muscles. I think its safe to say if he is dual typed the other half isnt fighting.
With a stiff spine, you bow, “Thank you... my lord.”You see him flick a hand out, dismissing you. “We shall send for again when you have time. Good luck in your search for a way home.” His tone is sincere, yet you can feel from his aura that he's more curious than anything else. What is he curious about?“I... Look forward to it.” The first lie you've told since coming here. With a turn, you follow after the others, returning to your temporary home.“Man...” Marine falls into a seat at the guild hall's bar. “That guy was really something.”“Yeah... He was really-”“Pretty.” Marine waves her hands out,” Geeze, I wish they made boys back home as pretty as that.” She giggles beside herself and you sigh, sinking into your seat, supporting your head with a claw as you shake it.Kurojo's finally come out of his statuesque funk from the audience, though he seems to be experiencing something else now, and you're feeling exceedingly out of place in your golden-yellow dress.Everyone else in the bar is looking at you, some Smolders even whistle.“White demon in gold thread!”“We should call her the White Empress!”“Lady White?”“Hey, doesn't she look different now...?”You try to ignore them... Though the attention is kind of nice... it's completely different than before.“So, Ceru, what are we doing next?” Marine smiles, still kind of buzzing. You swear you can just about see hearts popping off of her.> “Kurojo. If there's anything you want to ask... I'll tell you.”> “Let's go shopping.”> “When my gear gets back, let's go on another hunt.”> Talk to some people around the guild. (Tuskless Kahkori/Araraki/Smolderan)> (Other)
>>32769457It doesn't say he has no muscles, though.
>>32769457are you sure he's bishie?
>>32769473> “Kurojo. If there's anything you want to ask... I'll tell you.”Well, first off, we should try to open up with Kurojo. Although, let's preface this with>I'm not sure what I can tell you to keep you safe, but I'll try to be as open as possible
>>32769473>[x] “Kurojo. If there's anything you want to ask... I'll tell you.”Lets talk to somebody we can actually trust
>>32769473Talk to kurojo. Then go shopping and check the shipwrights. I want to see roughly how much we'll need
>>32769473> “When my gear gets back, let's go on another hunt.”> “Kurojo. If there's anything you want to ask... I'll tell you. You deserve at least that much.”
>>32769489Dear Arceus...As I haven't said whether or not they're built. You may now think of them as being like this. Beautiful buff men, I love it. Maybe a bit less bodybuilder though.
>>32769473> “Kurojo. If there's anything you want to ask... I'll tell you.”So I guess what we can take away from this is that Hao is not as interested in taking advantage of us than he is of learning more. It's his brother who's more of a 'political' figure.Hey Prof, how many days has it been since Ceru and Marine evolved? Marine's equipment should have been finished by now, right?
>>32769473>> Talk to some people around the guild. (Tuskless Kahkori/Araraki/Smolderan)Hangout with the Araraki. It says a lot when I feel most comfortable around the lizardpeople covered in gore.I'd rather wait for Kurojo to initiate.
>>32769473> “When my gear gets back, let's go on another hunt.”got to get that stick money.
>>32769473Someone put Marine back in her ball!> “When my gear gets back, let's go on another hunt.”Might as well make progress with Akabaron's plan. Also to try out our evolution.>>32769502You sure about that? Akabaron warned us about Kurojo being used against us. Jojo might have even gone gay for him for all we know.
>>32769550It's the faith to Serebyi, isn't it?
>>32769564>You sure about that? Akabaron warned us about Kurojo being used against us. Jojo might have even gone gay for him for all we know. That's if we let a wedge be driven between us because of distrust. It's as if you've never read a comic or manga before. Or a book.
>>32769489Thats fucking bara and you know it. >>32769478True but he wears makeup and strides carefully with measured steps and the like. Hes a pretty boy and i DONT think that gives off the whole fighting type shtick. >>32769473>[x] “Kurojo. If there's anything you want to ask... I'll tell you.”>[x] “When my gear gets back, let's go on another hunt.”
>>32769473I still want to > “Let's go shopping.”even if now isn't the best time for it.Need a dock rental spot, and a normal dress between armor and luxury, and some wood.
>>32769550Yeah that sounds like a good idea. Also, I wanna talk to them about dead things. So we can transition from that to ghosts.Because I wanna ghost sword.
>>32769583>True but he wears makeup and strides carefully with measured steps and the like. Hes a pretty boy and i DONT think that gives off the whole fighting type shtick. It doesn't mean he's not capable of engaging in a physical fight. It should be noted, however, that the tusked Kahkori became the way they were (supposedly) because they "loved the hunt" too much. So the tusked are definitely spec'ed towards it.
>>32769579I don't really read shounen stuff that says shit like that.
>>32769612It isn't about "saying". It's about tropes and common themes. It's one of the most common tropes ever, anon. It's so ingrained into common pop culture.
Ok so taking all bet on Boss having A fairy type implant somewhere on his and exerting pheremonal control over the entire Rocket corp, making all of the girls want to sex him, men go gay etc.
>>32769473> “Kurojo. If there's anything you want to ask... I'll tell you.”> “Let's go shopping.”> “When my gear gets back, let's go on another hunt.”
>>32769575not really, it's just that the other races are difficult to deal with.Smolders>gotta make sure they don't exploit dome techTuskless>gotta make sure they don't exploit our EVERYTHINGTusked>completely under Tuskless control
>>32769645I bet everything I have. Against. All that charm is fucking natural and how dare you think otherwise.
>>32769645It could just be old fashioned charisma and brainwashing. Can't rule out your speculation though...
So, quick poll.We don't want to tell the tuskless too much because they are in a position to actually cause hassle for the dome. We're fine with boating with the smolders, as they can't do much to get to the dome, but we're not fine with them getting any secrets. The tusked we are going to try to avoid giving anything to, as they will let it slip.Yeah?
>>32769659>Araraki>must not piss off the plantsI wonder how they would treat Sanna, Erika and co.
>>32769664>Boss not using a buff to his already huge natural CHA to get EVEN MORE CHA.Are you an idiot, Boss always tries to get the best advantage possible. I could EASILY see him doing something like this.
>>32769705Sure. That's a reasonable summary of the current situation.
>>32769720Dude's already a Ditto man.
>>32769719Either worship or HATE. Depends on how they view the grafting process.
>>32769720Fool. Any pheromone grafts would just distract away from his natural, manly musk.
>>32769631I really haven't seen that trope used before.I mean, I get it, but it's so goddamn cliche I'd be embarrassed to think about it.
>>32769705Or we tell both and have them fuck each other over in a rush to seize the dome.
>>32769690>BRAINWASHINGThat's practically a fucking buzzword by now.
>>32769802Would you prefer mental conditioning?
>>32769774Yeah. It's why we don't let mistrust distance us from Kurojo. So that we don't do that retarded trope.
>>32769802Don't lie. You'd love it.>I would happily get brainwashed by Giovanni-sensei!>Kyaaaa! I said it! I said it!
by the way, I've heard that the 3/4 races were lifted from other sources. Was that all bullshit, or is it true? If it is, where did they come from?
>>32769819There wasn't any of that, either. We joined the Rockets voluntarily and they trained us to their standards. What you imply by using "brainwashing" and "mental conditioning" is that they forced our eyes open and made us watch propaganda images to the tune of our favorite music until we were conditioned to associate the good feelings we get from our favorite music with the propaganda about Boss/Rockets, thus forcing a hardwired positive connection to the Rockets.Imagine an aspiring gymnast. She wants to be compete in the Olympics. So, voluntarily, and with the help of a professional trainer, she trains her absolute goddamn hardest until her body is athletic enough to compete with the best. She looks in a mirror, sees her body, and says, "Yeah. My trainer is awesome."That's Boss. That's the Rockets. And that's not fucking brainwashing.
>>32769950Huh? What are you talking about?
>>32769950Smolder and Kahkori are from GW2. Charr and Tengu respectively.Ferrine are from Monhunt.Tuskless are new.Araraki are new.
>>32769979You're a true Rocket, anon. I salute you.
>>32769981Charr are awesome. Hell yeah, Charr.
You fold your hands together, looking to Kurojo piteously. “Kurojo... If there's anything you want to ask us about, we'll tell you. I'm sorry we didn't really talk about it before...”You squeeze your hands together, bearing the brunt of some more cat-calls from other Smolder.Kurojo looks to you,” Cerulean, I...”A Smolder sidles up alongside you, a scent that you don't know, alcohol on his breath as the large beast sniffs your hair, the force of his inhale setting it out of place only for the exhale to mess it up further. With your eyes wide you look up to the Smolder, “Y'got sum biddness wit' me mate?” You speak cooly and calmly, still a bit upset from the the audience. The Smolder's about to say something when Kurojo gets up, and smashes him right in the nose, sending the smolder down to the ground with a howl. His friends roar with laughter at the drunk idiot as he starts to jump up, ready to pounce upon Kurojo only for him to eat another quick Kahkori fist before he can fully get up.The second attack sends the beast reeling and the Smolder backs off as Jojo raises his fist for another.Turning around, he sits down, flexing his knuckles.“You okay?” You ask, putting a hand over his.“Fine.” He sighs,”Ceru- White... I'm just. This is all really big for me. I'm an apprentice hunter from Kakarkiko that found some strange creature that cried when I first saw her and went on about her woes. I couldn't understand her at first, but helping her's given me the personal attention of a tuskless.” He shakes his head.“I don't know if I want to know your whole story. I don't know if that'll get me in trouble or if it'll get the Tuskless to pay attention to my home.” He buries his face into the palm of his hand. “I just don't know. I thought we were just having a fun adventure and... growing up together or something. And... I can deal with monsters. I can deal with Smolders, but the Tuskless... I don't know.”
You start to reach for Kurojo, flinching at first when he begins to cry into his hand. You touch his shoulder and sit there like that for a bit. Marine attempts to speak up, to ask what he said, but she lets the two of you have a moment, slipping away from the table.> Give him a hug.> Leave him alone for now.> Just stay there like that.> (Other)
>>32770234> Just stay there like that.Pats on the shoulder.I didn't know this was going to put you in such risk, kurojo
>>32770234>[x] Give him a hug.>[x] (Other)"I'm scared and confused too."hugging kind of our thing
>>32770234> Just stay there like that.Let him cry out for now. Hugging him can come AFTER his emotions settle down.
>>32770262Hugging IS kind of our thing.I support an eventual hug of some form. Possibly group hug with marine assistance.
>>32770234> Leave him alone for now.>"I'm also scared, Kurojo. I never thought I'd get so involved with these people. And I never wanted to cause you or your home any trouble, especially after all you've done to help me."We can hug him when he's not emotionally vulnerable. It'd be too...manipulative to do it right now.
>>32769979Problem with you analogy is we arent training for the Olympics. We are a child solider. We are REALLY good at being a child solider, but we are a child soldier nonetheless. We are trained to kill, whether it be monster or person, we are being trained to main, kill, and brutalize other living beings. We are a weapon of war, not an athlete, not looking for gold medals. Let me ask you something, have you ever killed a man? Have you ever stared into his eyes and stabbed him, pulled the trigger or done the final deed? This has a huge effect on anyone psyche, much MORE so a child's than others. The modern human miliary in our has to condition its soldiers before it sends them out onto the front lines or else they may not perform their tasks. Hell many still dont due to not being to kill another living person. What is even worse is that we are a part of an elite political unit, not just regular grunts. Conditioning is implied. No matter what you say.
>>32770234>>32770319Whoops, made a mistake.> Just stay there like that.I meant to quote this.
>>32770234Imma go with> Give him a hug.
>>32770234> Give him a hug.A WARM hug.Let's hope Kurojo's home island isn't in danger of being messed with by a tuskless because of his involvement with us.
>>32770234> Give him a hug.Are you people all fucking insane. Hes a 13 year old boy struggling with finding his place in the world. HUG HIM YOU FUCKING ASSHOLES!! Jebus fuck, you people are so heartless to our friends.
>>32770234> Give him a hug.Ceru doesn't play favorites with hugs
>>32770234> Just stay there like that. The proper way to comfort a guy is to hug them after they let out their stress.
>>32770355Hugging boys is GAYYY shit for FAAAGs tho.
>>32770234> Give him a hug. We're hugging our friend. This is romantic, calm down anons
>>32770355Because you've never comforted someone before.
>>32770355I think a lot of people want to let him cry it out a bit, then hug him.If it's any consolation, my vote up here>>32770260is sort of intended that way. But before hugs is super serious apologies.
>>32770388NOT ROMANTIC is what I meant to say
>>32770360We are not a guy. We are a 12yrs old girl.>>32770376We are a girl in game its perfectly normal. Hell Cerus mental health is already questionable as it is.
>>32770217Using old trip, prof.
>>32770412>We are not a guy. We are a 12yrs old girl.Yeah, uh. Kurojo is the guy who's getting comforted.
>>32770424That was weird.
>>32770234> Give him a hug.We didn't give Goldie space back in the forest before we hugged him.Ceru not hugging a friend in need OOC
>>32770412Ceru's pretty mentally balanced.
>>32770234I guess I'll cave onto the hugtrain. > Give him a hug.I just feel bad for jojo and don't think a hug will fix it.
>>32770462It might not fix it but it shows we are there for him. That we will do whatever it takes to help him make it better, even if it involves us risking our lives.
>>32770326Still not brainwash. There were other kinds of conditioning. Pain conditioning, anti-esper conditioning, pseudo-evil conditioning, but there's NOTHING that supports the people saying that we were conditioned to love Giovanni and the Rocket organization and that that they are bad bad bad bad BAD.
>>32770548I want to support Giovanni.
>>32770573I want to support you in supporting Giovanni.
>>32770599INTERNET FRIENDSHIP! :D
>>32770548Look here is what im saying. Giovanni in the games and in every iteration ive ever seen of him has been a villain. A self-serving, money-grubbing mobster, who would sell anyone and anything out for a quick buck. He MAY be totally different in AoPH, BUT the source material tell us otherwise. The unhealthy amount of reverence that Ceru places in him, hell that A LOT of Rockets place in him says to me, that he has something to do with this beyond his natural CHA, even if it is massive. Therefore it is hard for me to believe that he isnt a villain.
>>32770617I don't want to support you anymore, but I still want to support Giovanni.
>>32770631I agree with you that Giovanni is probably evil, but I disagree with you that his charisma and loyalty has anything to do with poke-powers.He's every mob boss and strongman dictator rolled into one. He's King fucking Bradley. He doesn't need Clefairy implants to command fervent loyalty.
>>32770631This quest is nonstop grey on grey morality.Get killed/eaten/raped by monsters or join an elite group who will give you the ability to kill/eat/rape monsters in order to protect yourself and the people you care about?
I wonder if Ni'Rena was mindraped yet?
>>32770234>being Ceru>contemplating a response other than giving him a hugwut> Give him a hug.
>>32770684>>32770706Now another thing. Let NOT forget that we have been brainwashed in this games. It HAS happened.>We go to Saffron Gym to look for Goldie. >Have to fight Alexis because Sabrina is a total whore.>Win and demand to see Goldie.>Sabrina casually waves her hand in our face, turns our brain to silly putty and mindwipes us.>We wake up think we were sleep walking.THIS HAPPENED. IT IS A FACT. It is, therefore, not hard to think, "Well if espers can just casually turn our brains to silly putty over something THAT trivial, what ELSE can they do to fuck with us. Because absolute power corrupts absolutely, and you don't get much more absolute than mind wiping memories you don't want that person to have. Silph had also been described as a mega corporation by Dran so they quite possibly have a hand in it.We have also seen that Sabrina and Giovanni HATE each other, or at best severely dislike each other. It is not hard therefore for me to believe that, in order to fortify his powerbase (the Rockets) against Sabrina and her ilk, he would take pheromones to further fortify his CHA and mental control over his own underlings, if he cant just get esper powers himself. BTW for what we have seen esper grafts are non-existent, almost all of Sabrina's underlings are unmodified. This mean that Giovanni might not have the ability to procure an Esper graft so he probably goes for the next best thing. A Fae grats that allows for pheremonal control vs esper control.
>>32770799>BTW for what we have seen esper grafts are non-existentGoldie wasn't a natural esper, so he got an Abra graft.
>>32770799Holy shit, you talk like a conspiracy theorist, just piling on random spontaneous thoughts after spontaneous thoughts. At least you'll use the word 'brainwashing' properly in the future, right?
>>32770799You just went right from reasonable to retarded. Also mindwiping =/= brainwashing. And did you forget about Goldenrod? His whole deal is that despite being Sabrina's daughter, he was unable to develop his own psychic powers, so Sabrina, after abusing him a lot, had her Espers track down an Abra, capture it, and graft it to Goldie.
>>32770866>His whole deal is that despite being Sabrina's daughterouch. He's not that bad anon...
>>32770799I'm virtually certain that while the boss may have a graft that increases his charisma, the reason Ceru likes him so much is because he's perfect manly father figure.
You stay there a moment, allowing him a bit of time to get some of it out. Some Smolders snort and look away, obviously thinking little of a crying Kahkori. The smolder that ate some fist suitably stays backed off, leaving your lot alone.“I'm sorry Kurojo.” You finally eek out. “I didn't know...” You get up suddenly, and put your arms around him at his shoulders. You rest your head behind his, nuzzling slightly. “I understand if you don't want to help us anymore. I wouldn't blame you.”His crying ceases for a moment, and he trembles, bringing his other hand up to your arm. “I promised...” He sniffles, “I couldn't face my father if I broke that promise...” He exhales slow, “It's okay to be afraid. But a man needs to be brave.” He leans his head into your collar, quiet again. The two of you decide not to move. Staying just like that.“You're cold.”“I used to be warm.” You say without thinking.“What happened?”You don't answer at first, but. “I changed.”Marine eventually comes back and the three of you talk. You fill Kurojo in about where your from. You don't tell him everything, but you tell him a lot.“I think... Lord Hao knows something about other domes. He wanted to know which one we were from.”“If it's as great as you say, then he must want to conquer it... And there are humans, you said?”“Yeah... A lot of people that can't fight. It's why we need to protect them.” You fold your arms.Kurojo takes it all in. You told him about humans, but you didn't tell him about how rangers are made, or even that you once were one.But the revelation about the M-virus is still enough to shock him.“This means that... This means that we must've been cursed by Arceus.” Kurojo mutters this, yet you furrow your brow, a bit incredulous.“What makes you think that?”“... If we came from them, then it must be a curse, right? We're becoming more rike monsters.”
>>32770847SIDF Fuck off.
>>32770893>>The two of you decide not to move. Staying just like that.>“You're cold.”>“I used to be warm.” You say without thinking.>“What happened?”>You don't answer at first, but. “I changed.”That was a good exchange, Prof.
Marine chews a leg of some monster lazily, pointing a bone at Kurojo and rolling her eyes at you,”Y'know, I think it's the other way around. Why would it be a curse? Being part monster is awesome. Y'know, when civvies don't hate your guts.”“Mari-”“Ultra. Marine.” She corrects with a smile, tearing off another piece of a haunch with just her teeth. You sigh tiredly, shaking your head,” Whatever. You shouldn't talk about civvies that way.“Who are you- my mom?” Marine stares at you, and you give her an all too motherly look.“Wuht?” She shrugs, swallowing more meat.Kurojo, nonetheless seems to consider her words. “A gift, eh?” You can see the corners of his mouth smiling through his red feathers. “That works too.”You hear sudden surge in the commotion around you, as a green shadow and brown slips just past outside of your vision. “Greetings.” The Araraki comes up from your other side, nearly making you jump at her slight word.In the next fraction of a second, she's already three paces distant and apologizing,” We sorry. We scare? So sorry.”“You'te fine.” Kurojo says, tapping the table, “Take a seat.”> “Nice to see you again, where've you been?”> Fill her in on some of the things about what you're doing.> Ask her about “Serebyi.”> (Other)
>>32770893Eh, I wouldn't say you're like monsters.Not until you start, oh, I don't know, eating and/or enslaving people.
>>32770928> “Nice to see you again, where've you been?”No need to entangle her in more of this heavy stuff than we have to.
>>32770928> “Nice to see you again, where've you been?”> Ask her about “Serebyi.”You should be looking to close this soon, Prof. I'd say we've got a little over an hour left. Also, have you forgotten about the captain we still need to pay or is that still on your mind?
>>32770928>> “Nice to see you again, where've you been?”>> Fill her in on some of the things about what you're doing. We can ask about Serebyi later in a more quiet, openminded location
>>32770866>daughterSounds like Goldie has a secret
>>32770928"Nice to see you again. So I was wondering, how do you guys deal with ghosts?'
>>32770928>[x] “Nice to see you again, where've you been?”>[x] Fill her in on some of the things about what you're doing.
>>32770961Probably as neutral as you're gonna get. Smolderan haven't expressed any reverence for arceus or any other deity.Yet.
>>32770844He is the ONLY ONE in the whole Dome we have seen with one. I can only imagine the trouble and personal cost that Sabrina had to go through/pay to get her hands on it. Afterall she is a HUMANITY FIRST xenophobe.>>32770847>>32770866How the hell am i being unreasonable? Mental control is a proven fucking thing in this setting. Dran has shown us over and over again that espers have the ability to rewrite people into doing whatever the fuck they want. The half-Drowzee child snuk into the powerplant in Vermillion and took almost total control of the entire staff in minutes. The Hypno had an entire community of people that practically worshiped him that he had kidnapped from the Dome. These are just one off example. Sabrina is a powerful person with the resources of and entire nation at her back. How fucking hard is it to believe that she WOULDN'T try to take more and more total control of her powerbase via any means necessary?
>>32770885>>32770973Sorry, the whole>His whole deal is that despite being Sabrina's daughterMust have been because I was thinking of Chrona.Because he is totally Chrona.
>>32770928> “Nice to see you again, where've you been?”> Fill her in on some of the things about what you're doing.> Ask her about “Serebyi.”On the second option, leave out the really heavy stuff. Just that we're looking to make more money to pay off some guys to make a ship for us and ask her if she wants to join in.
>>32770993>He is the ONLY ONE in the whole Dome we have seen with one. I can only imagine the trouble and personal cost that Sabrina had to go through/pay to get her hands on it. Afterall she is a HUMANITY FIRST xenophobe.Brian's graft. Slowpoke is part water, part psychic.
>>32770993No that part is reasonable. There's likely a three-way power struggle between Sylph, Sabrina, and Giovanni, with the Gym Leaders and Elite Four just trying to keep the piece. The fact that Sylph has a lot of anti-Esper tech despite there not really being much contact with Esper monsters besides Espeons, shows they don't trust Sabrina completely. But the idea of Giovanni being anything other than a charismatic power-hungry jackass is absurd.
>>32770993>>32771027He and other cadets with psychic implants were mentioned to have been looked down upon and ridiculed by the pure espers at Saffron Gym. Goldie included, once we started to get to know him.
>>32771048Although, that didn't stop Alexis from liking him. Unless that only came AFTER Sabrina started personally working her over.
>>32770928I wanna learn about Cerebi. But I think it's more important we fill her in on what we've been up to>[x] Fill her in on some of the things about what you're doing.
>>32770866And mark my words. The Kadabra nation WILL learn what the Dome has done to one of their children, and there will be a reckoning.
>>32770993I hate you so fucking much for being both inaccurate and unreasonable.First of all, the power plant workers were sleeper agents; they were compromised over 24 hours before they turned on us.Second of all, YOU STILL DON'T HAVE ANY FUCKING PROOF THAT WE HAVE ACTUALLY BEEN MIND CONTROLLED, ONLY PROOF THAT MIND CONTROL EXISTS. DO YOU FUCKING HEAR ME?ALL YOU HAVE IS THAT THERE'S MIND CONTROL AND BECAUSE OF THAT, YOU'RE ABSOLUTELY, COMPLETELY CERTAIN IT'S ALREADY DEEPLY INGRAINED INTO US AS A RESULT OF JOINING THE ROCKETS.BUT PLEASE FUCKING LISTEN TO ME.ALL YOU HAVE IS THAT THERE'S MIND CONTROL AND NOTHING ELSE.YOU HAVE NO PROOF WE'RE ACTUALLY MIND CONTROLLED.FIND PROOF AND THEN WE'LL TALK.UNTIL THEN, STOP FUCKING POSTING YOUR CONSPIRACY SHIT. I'M SICK OF IT.
>>32770992Only because they haven't met the Boss yet
>>32770928> “Nice to see you again, where've you been?”> Ask her about “Serebyi.”
>>32770992They probably like Groudon or Victini or Moltres or something.
>>32771122SIDF shilling hard
>>32771122Dude relax theres no reason to go full caps, just take a deep breath and calm down
>>32770799>Because absolute power corrupts absolutelyFalse
>>32771239the correct saying is power corrupts but absolute power is a while lot of fun. gnarl
>>32771006that has been pretty much outright confirmed.
I liked it better when arguments were over which moves to upgrade instead of morality "debates" where both sides can only offer speculation
>>32771286I'm just hoping this one's over.
>>32771328Well then you're an idiot. Since you went and posted about it instead of ignoring it.
>>32771286>32771286I speculate that the next person to type in chat HURT MAH FEELINGS and is A MEANIE-WEENIE.Damn internet debates making me sad.
>>32771122If it is that terrible of a thing, then fine i will.
Why the fuck did you guys choose not to go on another hunt?
>>32771379If you have to ask, is how the saying goes.
>>32771392And that's supposed to mean....?
“Be nice t' see'in y' again! How y' be?” You give the Araraki a nice smile, amidst all the other crap that you've been going through the past days. Your legs are still sore from evolution...“We good.” She inclines her head, tipping one way as Kurojo taps the table again. With a skitter ing motion, she zips around and takes a seat upon the stool, giving Kurojo a nervous glance.“Hi Araraki!” Marine waves, and the Araraki gives a confused return.“Jojo, can you tell her about what's happened recently? I don't know exactly how to say all of that.”You sit there as Kurojo recounts your evolution after the initiation and the visit to Lord Hao's hall. You also hear him throw in some parts about how the two of you are looking for a way home, to the city of glass. The Araraki dips her head down, her floral-patterened eyes catching light, driving her pupils to constrict. “We want ask that. Still want go home?”You nod, “Aye, tha's what me mate 'd said jus' now.”“Why?”“What y' mean why? 'aven't y' asked me this before?”The Araraki looks down, still avoiding eye contact as always, “Why important.”“It's my home.”“Evil live glass city.”“Evil?”She taps the table with a claw nervously, “Erm... No, nothing. We sorry... We hunt, yes?” she perks up a bit, sliding her claw off of the table, turning her head and playing with her hands, obviously trying to change the subject.> “Yeah... we'll take a hunt...”> “No, what do you mean, Evil?”> “What do you think about Arceus?”> “Tell me about Serebyi.”> (other)
>>32771379on a practical level, because explaining everything takes very little time ICly.
>>32771441>> “No, what do you mean, Evil?”Explain pls....
>>32771441>> “Yeah... we'll take a hunt...”>> what do you mean, Evil?”Ask on the way
>>32771441> “No, what do you mean, Evil?”You have my undivided attentions.
>>32771441>[x] “No, what do you mean, Evil?”
>>32771441> “Yeah... we'll take a hunt...”> “No, what do you mean, Evil?”We can ask the other two things on the hunt.Because we seriously need to get to the end of this thread now. Page 10, Prof!
>>32771441>> “Yeah... we'll take a hunt... but, uh... whatchya mean 'bout that there 'Evil'?”
>>32771441>[x] “No, what do you mean, Evil?"She probably just means we use wood, medicines, and farm.
>>32771441> “No, what do you mean, Evil?”and then when she inevitably stonewalls us, lets chat briefly about some Jebus> “What do you think about Arceus?”> “Tell me about Serebyi.”before going on a hunt> “Yeah... we'll take a hunt...”
>>32771441>> “Yeah... we'll take a hunt...”>Is this about eating plants?
>>32771441> “Tell me about Serebyi.”
>>32771441I'm cool with a hunt, second. But first, ask about what is meant by "Evil".
>>32771441>> “Yeah... we'll take a hunt...”
Uh, guys, the thread is about to die.
>>32771594I'd bump it but it doesn't work
>>327715949th from the bottom, we have time for one more update barring unforeseen circumstances
>>32771638I'd make 9 threads but they'd all be shit threads not worthy of a spot on the board, so never mind.
“Aye, we'll get on a hunt, bu' firs' wha' y' mean 'bout evil?” You see with a stern look. It's not often that you hear that word in your language or no and it's not talking about 'evil' types. The Araraki makes to get up, to leave, but she slowly sits back down after a shuddering halfhearted breath. Her eyes trail elsewhere as she thinks of the words to say.“Glass hide. Persons do bad thing. World change. Gods angry. Serebyi? Gone. Peace gone. No Serebyi. No peace. Much evil. Badness. Glass bad. Reason why Serebyi stay gone.But...White good. We like white. Ultramarine. No evil. We think. Evil... uhhh. To holy wood maybe... But no.” She seems to get a little frustrated with herself. “Sorry we speak bad. We learn...”Not quite sure what to make of the Araraki's words, you stare at her, blinking slowly. What is it that her people know? Will Lord Hao prove a nuisance in the future? What great hunt will Cerulean embark upon?NEXT TIME on ATTACK ON POKEMON HUNTER!>[End Thread]
>Comments, questions, concerns.>Good.>Bad.>Weird.Also, thanks for playing.
>>32771677Not that strong of a end, but alright. Thanks for running and see you next time. Will the next few sessions also be compacted into one side of the week like this?
>>32771677Cool. Next session when? There sure was a lot of shitposting, namecalling, aspergling and internet rage in this thread.
>>32771694Good thread Dran. It was a lot of fun. So how many more threads till the timeskip? Also are you going to update your map or is it going to be left as is?
>>32771694Would it be possible to learn the Araraki language the same way we did common? It'll make it easier to converse. Maybe an impromptu lesson during the hunt, when we have some downtime.
>>32771718He stated that he wanted us to reach that point by 20 threads. So approximately 17 more, if we can make enough progress in each one.
>>32771694Thanks for running and pointless questionHave you ever read Hellblazer?I just think its a wonderful series with an interesting jerk bastard protagonist and a ,imo, fascinating take on magic. and you got that Overhuman limit thing going on...
>>32771696>>32771710I'll find out tomorrow. Running three days in a row is a bit tiring, but a lot easier with just one story.>>32771725The common is much more similar to your tongue in terms of structure than Araraki or smolder. It's for the same reason that you're still having a hard time with Tusked native Khakori which i mostly just bird sounds.>>32771718Basically >>32771741Could be more, could be less. We'll see. As for the map, I may.>>32771760Where could I check it out?
>>32771778Could you elaborate more on what the new mutant horns do in more detail than 'ice better' or is it a surprise?
>>32771778One more question. Do you think i should stop speculating?
>>32771778>The common is much more similar to your tongue in terms of structure than Araraki or smolder.Well, we don't necessarily need to speak it, just understand it better. It's like when I learned foreign languages in high school and college. I can barely speak any now, but I can understand them.
>>32771798Which one are you?>>32771801I think I get what you're saying. She takes common just fine but can barely speak it. If Ceru understands Araraki then she can just go on in her native tongue, yes?
>>32771694Just how old is Agatha? Like if we were to talk about the Lavender Spire with Hao in the future, would he recognize her from some old folk legend?
>>32771778>Where could I check it out?Pirate it. Try kickass torrents.Did you see some of the posts early on noting down the stuff missing from Cerulean's pastebin? Like the Crytten's smell receptors (?) or her webbed hands and feet? And you mentioned that her horns were transformed to better accommodate some of her ice moves; could you specify that bonus?
>>32771832Lilac's said before that she's old. really, really old.
>>32771778https://www.mediafire.com/folder/7seu2929494px/%2Fco%2Fthe link doesn't have the graphic novels though. a torrent should be easy to findthey're also re-releasing the whole thing in collections if you like having physical copies (I know I do)
>>32771831>I think I get what you're saying. She takes common just fine but can barely speak it. If Ceru understands Araraki then she can just go on in her native tongue, yes?Yeah.
>>32771831The guy whom, according to the other guys, spergs about brainwashing and is being unreasonable/insane.
>>32771694At what % completeness can we start living in our boat?
>>32771778Are Shuppets, Duskulls, Gastlys, Misdreavus, and so on, as sucky as the pokedex indicates?
>>32771968Yes, but they're not exactly common.
>>32771991>TFW your Ghost poke bro would try and kill you all day, erra day IRL.
>>32771991how dangerous is Stunfisk, destroyer of worlds?
>>32772061I was going to have Ceru step on one in Mantree Coast.
I hope we're up for major activity on our new legs. We're going to trip.
>>32772242haven't had any trouble with so far...
>>32772245well we've not done any difficult leg based checksRough terrain or some shit.
>>32772263Rough terrain is fine. The bliger/crytten evolved for rough terrain.
>>32772074You mentioned that the Smolder and Birdmen are based on races in Guild Wars 2. Well I played a Charr engineer to level 53, and thought the game sucked ass. Thoughts?
>>32772263just saying so far so good
>>32772274Well, yeah. I just hope getting used to it doesn't fuck with us.It's kind of common after growth spurts.
>>32772306It's fine. We had no difficulty moving around. It's all instinctual stuff.
>>32772298I like it, but it's better in small doses and exploring contebnt outside of your own box ov PvE or PvP wherever it be.It's also much better when you experiment with the different classes, though I think the thing that hurts the game the most is the meta and how some people turn it into a minmaxing chore. Also much better to play with a friend. And even If I drop it for a year they're still upddating in earnest, and I can still play it without shelling out for subscription. It's also much better if you're a "Sit back and smell the pixels" kind of guy. There's a great attention to detail and wonderful artwork.I play on Tarnished coast, unofficial RP server. Before the megaserver move blending in with npcs was actually a great pastime.
>>32772341Also, my biggest gripe about nonhuman races in anything is the general stereotype that they fall into.I noticed it bad with Norn and Asura.
