Sent to the Sith holy world of Korriban in order to face the trials to join the order, you have had an eventful few days. You murdered two of your fellow acolytes during the first trial, and sadistically tortured a third that night. Your ruthlessness and strength earned you the attention of your Overseer, who gave you your second trial early. Though difficult, you successfully completed the trial, gaining weapons and knowledge in the process. After that, you studied in the academy library. The next day, when you went to receive your trial, only two other acolytes from your group were present; the fellow Kaleesh, Valgan, and the Zabrak, Talgur. You were given the task of slaying a beast in the Lower Wilds as your third trial. Laying a trap, you battled a trio of Tuk'ata, and, though badly wounded in the process, you emerged successful. Returning to the overseer, you found that Talgur was the only other acolyte to return from his trial. After enduring some glib remarks from your rival, you followed the advice of the overseer and went to the medcenter, where CH-4N displayed his usual hospitality. After you finished with the med droid, you left the medcenter, only to be attacked by a trio of acolytes. You received some nasty cuts before managing to slaughter two of the acolytes. You tortured the third until the Dark Honor Guards ordered you to stand down. Afterwards, Veelna Mal, the apprentice you spoke to previously, congratulated you on your victory. The two of you discussed the Sith code, and you proceeded to hit on her. Now, you head to the medcenter to get your new injuries treated.
>>
>Welcome to Sith Quest

Here is the basic layout. Decisions will be made by voting on various options. Whichever option has the most votes after ten minutes is the winner. All votes are final, so choose wisely. Also, you can add some dialogue to your vote, if you wish. During combat, if you want to say something, just type what you want to say with your vote. During conversations, if multiple people supply different dialogue, I will combine as many as I can so long as they do not contradict one another, in order to avoid a conversation taking several hours.

>Important

The combat system will be dice based and use a d100 system. In order to succeed in those options, one out of the first three rolls must be equal to or greater than the specified number. However, if a number of 4 or lower is rolled in the first three, then whatever you were attempting will go very badly. On the other hand, if a number of 96 or higher is rolled in the first five, then whatever you are attempting will go very well unless a roll of 4 or below occurred in the first three.

Rolls will not occur until the voting time is up and the option for a particular roll has won

>THIS IS A CHALLENGING QUEST, AND BAD DECISIONS WILL GET YOU KILLED.
>>
Strolling into the medcenter, you find CH-4N standing in the middle of the room with his arms crossed. Were he capable of doing so, you figure he would be wearing a smug grin right about now.

"Impressive; not even I expected you to injure yourself again so quickly," he comments. "How did you manage to injure yourself this time? Too many sharp corners on the walls? Did you forget how to use your legs? Did the knowledge of how to properly wield a kitchen knife escape you?"

"A spoon? That's a new one," he comments. "Truly, your incredible idiocy always astounds and amazes. I could see you managing to kill yourself with a knife or a fork, but a spoon? Impressive. How did you manage that one?"

All you answer with is "Forks are dangerous."

"How do you even function?" he asks. "You need to be studied in a laboratory to see how a creature with such an unbelievably low mental capacity could exist. You'd certainly be much more useful in that capacity than in your hilariously inept attempt at becoming Sith; though, I suppose you being in a confined and controlled laboratory setting would be far less amusing."

You tell him that he simply hates the thought of no longer being able to see you every day.

"Oh yes, the thought makes my circuits go cold," he says in an overly sarcastic tone. "What would I ever do without constantly having to treat the injuries spawned by your idiocy? I mean, it's not like I'm a medical droid with other patients or anything."

He looks you dead in the eyes. "When you inevitably get yourself killed, I am simply going to erase all records of you from my memory banks, just like I did with [File not found] and [File not found]."

"There, your wounds have been disinfected," he tells you. "I would also recommend that you wait a moment while I retrieve some protective headgear for you. I also recommend that you allow me to put it on you, to ensure that you do not attempt to eat it or something."

You decide to research the Tomb of Naga Sadow.

"Naga Sadow led the Sith Empire during the Great Hyperspace War. After the Empire's defeat and exile, the tomb was left abandoned for a thousand years, until Revan's Sith Empire waged war against the Republic. Revan and his apprentice, Malak, are said to have located an ancient map within the tomb that helped lead them to the fabled Star Forge. In more recent history, Darth Baras sent his apprentice to recover and ancient lightsaber from the tomb as their final trial, and Darth Zash sent her apprentice to free an ancient Dashade and recover an ancient map as their final trial. The tomb is considered to be the most deadly in the Valley of the Dark Lords. Academy rules are waved within it, allowing acolytes to kill one another with impunity. In addition, Naga Sadow left an army of droid guardians behind, and reports of dark side traps and terrible beasts have emerged over the years as new chambers have been discovered. One should note that Naga Sadow is not actually buried in his tomb, as he died on Yavin IV, where his body rests to this day."

You decide that you have done enough research for tonight, and depart from the library. You head downstairs, exit the main chamber, and travel through the halls until you reach the acolyte's bed chambers.

Walking over to your bed, you take a seat on it and cross your legs, placing your hands on your knees and closing your eyes. You think on the Sith Code; you think about passion, strength, power, victory, and freedom. You think of the strength to crush your foes, the passion to drive you to greatness, and the freedom, true freedom, that greatness will afford you. You focus on the sources of the dark side; fear, anger, hatred.

You engulf yourself in the fear of failing in your trials, of death at the hands of Talgur, or someone working on his behalf, or even at the hands of the overseer as a result of your failure. You allow yourself to acknowledge your fear of the traps and monsters in the tombs, of other Sith who will try to tear you down even after you have completed your trials, of Veelna, who you fear might betray you.

Then, you take that fear and turn it into anger. Anger towards all of the things you fear. You focus that anger on Talgur, on his smug face and constant remarks, his constant air of superiority. You think of how Valgan disappeared on his last trial, and how Talgur apparently was there, only explaining the death by blaming it on Valgan's "weakness". You think of the acolytes that came after you, and you allow your suspicion that Talgur was behind the attack to further fuel your rage.

The power of the Dark Side swirls around you, whispering to you promises of power, of glory, of vengeance.

You put the dark side to the test, seeing if it really can live up to the promises it makes you. Focusing with all of your might, you will as hard as you can for the cells to repair the damage done to your body. Slowly, but surely, you feel the damage being repaired, and when you open your eyes, you see no evidence of any injuries on your body. You feel slightly less energized, but still have more than enough to function.

>You have learned Force Heal (self)

(This ability has some conditions to it. If you meditate on the dark side and then immediately attempt to heal yourself, it will usually not require a roll to succeed (unless the injuries are severe). This ability is extremely difficult to use in combat, and will normally require a crit roll to use in those situations (the rolls could possibly become lower with practice, at least with rolls for minor injuries). In a normal, out of combat situation without meditating, a roll will generally be required, but the required roll can become lower with practice)
