Welcome to Academy City. The time is morning, the weather is comfy, and the date is August 20.

You are Kyril Torikov, ‘Level 2’ Telekinetic Child Error, and you just woke up from a few hours of sleep. You had gotten back really late last night, given what you were up to. The job itself was supposed to be simple, get in, let Nunotaba do her thing, get out. You certainly weren’t expecting to be bringing a small extra with you, especially after Nunotaba didn’t achieve her objectives. The item in question was Unit 20001, presumably 20001st clone of the Railgun, third ranked Level 5 and an electromaster. It was your call to take her with and thus you assumed responsibility for her. Nunotaba probably had something planned for the long term, or so you hoped, but for all intents and purposes you were now 20001’s guardian for the time being.

You got up carefully, mindful not to disturb 20001, and went to go through your morning ritual. Right now, all was peaceful, but you still had plenty of things that you were going to have to do today. First of all she needed some clothes, and while Nunotaba did have something 20001 could wear for now, it was better to get some actual outfits, if only to convey a proper first impression. Then you probably should get her checked out by Heaven Canceller, just in case. Of course this was what a responsible parent would do and you weren’t quite ready to accept that kind of appellation just yet. It didn’t look like 20001 was going to wake up soon anyway and in a way you weren’t really keen on that.

>Wake her up to go clothes shopping
>She doesn’t need to be awake to go see a doctor
>Leave her alone, do something else (write-in)

She hasn't had her haircut yet, has she.
Long hair clones > short hair clones.

I'll second making breakfast, but we should probably go get her some clothes once the food's all taken care of. I know AC is kinda lax about naked lolis walking around barely covered by tattered sheets, but we should probably not let her do that.
>>
the cover story for clothes shopping is she's kid from Kyril's old orphanage and its her birthday.
>>

If you're going to recommend reading a book, then you should at least specify a title.

Maybe not longer than she is tall the way the other clones were, but there's no way she came out of the tube with it short like that. It's still the equivalent of 8 or 9 years of hair growth that she should have.

You left her to her rest first. If she was going to wake up then it was best that she did on her own terms. That said, breakfast beckoned and today you had an irresistible urge for waffles, specifically the Belgian kind. You were pretty sure you had some chocolate and powdered sugar lying around somewhere. As you made breakfast you got several messages from Sparky and Nunotaba.

The former suspected your involvement with a certain S-Processor laboratory whilst the latter informed you of the sale of the extraneous hand guns you had looted. Half of the money was split up with your group, a fraction of the total sale, and was sent to your offshore account. As for Sparky’s message you weren’t sure you had it in you to tell her that the project was far from over. Still maybe it was worth it to talk to her later today if you had the time.

Breakfast, for you, was short and sweet and you settled in for some reading while waiting for sleeping beauty to wake up. You only managed an hour on Minds, Memories, and Multi-tasking when she finally awoke.

“Waaaaaaaah,” she shot up straight, “Misaka had a nightmare that she was kidnapped says Misaka says Misaka as she wakes up with a start.”

Her eyes traversed the room, going through what you realised was the post-awakening situation checklist. Then your eyes met.

>How do you greet a little girl that you may or may not have kidnapped while having the face of a foreigner and a thug?

You blurted out the first thing that came to mind.

“Привет.”

She continued staring, mentally calculating whether you were friend or foe.

“Want some waffles?” you offered next.

She then eyed the stack of waffles you had prepared and left for her. They were still slightly steaming and if her suspicion was still there it was instantly crushed by her desire for waffles.

“Yes, says Misaka says Misaka as she happily accepts.”

Thankfully she knew how to eat with knife and fork and you left her to it and continued reading. Well it was more that you were pretending to read than anything else. She didn’t exactly keep quiet or eat very neatly but you didn’t care too much when you were a kid so you let it slide.

“I am Last Order, says Misaka says Misaka as she introduces herself.”

Still the small spot on her cheek was bothering you so you TK’d some tissues over her cheek. She almost shrieked in surprise.

“Kyril Torikov,” you introduced yourself in turn.

She watched in fascination as you crumbled the piece of paper up in to a ball and threw it in to the waste bin with just the movement of your eyes.

“You did not kidnap me? Says Misaka says Misaka as she asks what you have done to her.”

“Nope,” you lied from behind your book, “I found you and brought you home. And do you have to speak like that?”

“Misaka sees, says Misaka says Misaka as she questions the validity of your claim,” she holds her chin and nodded, “But Misaka is speaking normally, says Misaka says Misaka as she wonders what you are talking about.”

She is. All of the clones talk like that because they're a hivemind.
>>
>>32635787
It must suck to broadcast your thoughts unconsciously.

Why is she repeating herself though? It's worse then a verbal tick. Misaka says Misaka says, is she trying to say that she is saying something? Why the redundancy?

It's a trick of the network. She pretty much narrates her thoughts out which then enter the network for the others to hear. If she didn't do that then it wouldn't be as easy to record.

I'm pretty sure one clone exploited that to avoid leaving certain imprints in the network.

>>32635899

“Kyril thinks he understands, says Kyril as he proposes bringing Misaka to see Heaven Canceler to ensure that she is okay,” you said, “Afterwards, perhaps we can go shopping or something says Kyril says Kyril as he realizes that this is truly the superior form of verbal communication he assents with a nod.”

She only nodded smugly until you lowered your book and revealed your grin.

“Ah, you’re making fun of Misaka, says Misaka says Misaka as she realises you were using sarcasm!”

You moved over to wipe her off as you put the dishes away.

“Nothing wrong with that,” you continued, “Just pointing it out is all. But in all seriousness let’s get you checked out first.”

“Hmph” she pouted, “Misaka will have you know that Misaka is the administrator of the Misaka network and I have over 9000 Misakas at her disposal, says Misaka says Misaka as she boasts about her capabilities.”

“Sure, sure,” you dismissed it out of hand.

You led her to the bathroom to get her cleaned up before helping her in to a blue dress with white polka dots. She wore Nunotaba’s old lab coat on top of that to stay warm. It looked more like an oversized shirt to you but then again you were taller than the average student.

Heaven Canceller wasn’t too busy to see you and subjected Last Order to a battery of general health checks at your request. He didn’t question where you found her or who she really was too deeply. Thankfully it looked like she would be fine.

“A clean bill of health for the most part,” he explained, “She might actually need some vaccinations but otherwise there aren’t that many problems.”

“Problems? Like what exactly?”

[1/2]
>>
>>32636747
He gestured to Last Order who had gone silent and stiff before curling herself in to a ball.

“No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

“Stop.

“Please, stop.

“STOP.

“MAKE IT STOP SAYS MISAKA SAYS MISAKA IN DESPERATION,” you made to grab her but she thrashed about in your grip, “STOP IT.”

Then she went limp.

“That’s the problem,” he said sympathetically, “She’s linked to the Misaka network, and now that wouldn’t normally be a problem but it looks like the virus that your friend introduced gave her emotions.”

In short she was experiencing every clone’s death in Level 6 Shift but was powerless to stop it. You couldn’t imagine that the death she was feeling was in anyway pleasant.

“If I recall she’s the administrator of the network, meant to safeguard it,” the doc continued, “The emotional backlash of the deaths isn’t going to be healthy for her psyche and I can’t do anything about it until Level 6 shift is terminated.”

“So what can you do?”

“I can keep her sedated, and safe but not much else,” he shrugged.

So it might be better if the doc looked after her, you thought. Further thought on the matter was put on hold as you received two messages. They were from Asuka and Nunotaba.

>>
>>32637123

>>
You texted back to Asuka requesting details and to head over to Nunotaba’s. While it was true that she could easily have just shanked her stalker in an alleyway and leave unmolested, you were pretty sure the reason she hasn’t done so is the same as the reason she was sending you a message. Then you headed out for Nunotaba as you rang her up.

“もしもし, Torikov I need you to get here as fast as you can,” she greeted you over the sound of gun fire, “Bring ammunition.”

You lost connection quickly after that.

Asuka replied back to inform you of her situation. It was Kinuhata and company that were tailing her. ITEM, and their Level 5, didn’t just stalk people. They were killers, as you understood it, so it stood to reason they’d wait until they caught her alone with little witnesses. It may not have been a good idea to lead her over to Nunotaba then but at least now you could take care of both problems at once. Or at least you hoped you could take care of it yourself. You might need to burn that favour Sparky owed you or more.

Apart from summoning reinforcements you also had to get to Nunotaba’s fast, and running just wasn’t going to cut it and you weren’t sure if taxis were willing to drive close to a running gun battle, not to mention potential Anti-Skill and Judgement blockades. You trusted Heaven Canceller to be able to look after Last Order for a bit too but maybe he could spare you an old wheelchair he didn’t want.

>What is your plan of action?
>Who do you call for back if any?

>>
>>32637587
Taxi to the neighborhood of the gun battle, call in the favor with Sparky to get her to pitch in dealing with ITEM (and the gun battle that they're all going to be walking into along the way, naturally).

When we get close enough to the fight, we can use TK on ourselves to get above any blockades and approach the shooters from above. Because NOBODY expects an airborne shooter.
>>
>>32637587
Time for some Telekinetically-enhanced parkour.
>>
>>32637587
Get in a wheel chair and break the speed limit. That is faster then any taxi given how unexpected and small we are. As for reinforcement I can see sparky as useful here.
>>
>>32637587

>>
>>32637587
Call in the favor with Sparky and try to get Asuka to move towards Nunotaba. We're probably going to need our gun. TK-wheels is probably a good way to go. Either the wheelchair or something else.
>>

I don't think Touma at this time in the timeline can handle a gunfight.

“Hey doc, you don’t happen to have an old wheelchair do you?” you asked.

He gave you an amused look before showing you to your old wheelchair.

“Remember, don’t die,” he gave you a pat on the back, “As long as you don’t die I can save you.”

As you raced out the hospital you decided to give Sparky a call. Now was a good time as ever to see if Sparky would be good on her word. You had a feeling that you might need it.

“Hey I was wondering when you were going to call,” Sparky picked up.

“Really why’s that?” you dodged out of the way of a sedan, “Actually I think I could use some help, you up for it Sparky?”

“Huh, oh it was just that this morning I was going to pay a visit to some facility and it looked like there had been a massive fight there,” she answered, “That wasn’t you was it?”

“Maybe.”

“Hmmm well I’m free this morning so I guess I could help you out, where should we meet?”

You gave her Nunotaba’s address.

“And if I’m not there just follow the sound of gunfire and explosions,” you added before hanging up.

There was unsurprisingly an Anti-Skill cordon but you bypassed that by taking an elevated route. You knew you could levitate yourself but you hadn’t had the time to try it out since you moved up in power. No time like the present then, you mused as you stepped out and lifted yourself up the side of the building. It wasn’t straining but you still could only move in one direction as trying to edge closer to the building lost you a lot of altitude. Thankfully you were close enough to grab on to the ledge before hauling yourself up.

[1/2]
>>
>>32638421
Confident that you could now levitate rather far up the side of a building you elected to take the high road, trusting in your telekinesis to prevent you from being a stain on the street. When you landed on the roof of Nunotaba’s dorm building you drew your gun and checked your ammunition. You had five more shots in the current mag and three more full mags to go through. The gunshots had stopped but only because you suspect they were expecting to siege Nunotaba out slowly.

Kyril should be able to push himself floating along through the open air by applying the force at a diagonal. It will give him both a vertical and horizontal movement. What angle he applies the force at is entirely dependent on how much he weighs. Just have to set it up so that the vertical force equals the gravity applied to him. Since he can float straight up in the air, I know he can do this. He should be able to just float from rooftop to rooftop.

>>32638437
>Slow fall to her balcony
>>
>>32638661
I took it as most of the force had to be applied to the vertical component or there wouldn't be enough force to fight gravity.
>>
>>32638699
He can lift over 500lbs easy. It's not even taking half his power to overcome gravity.
>>
>>32638661
I think it's because the force is kind of like a disk and he can only focus it in one direction. So if he went diagonal it would flip his body to the side there.
>>
>>32638961
It's a 3 dimensional field. There are only two possible in-universe explanations for why Kyril is this bad at levitation.

>It's a mental block, similarly to how Awaki has a hard time teleporting herself.
or
>He somehow blanked out and forgot simple physics that he would certainly know ever since attending an elementary school in AC.
>>
>>32639112
Or it just doesn't fit well to how our TK works. In-universe TK users seem to be pretty restricted usually. Unabara only does precision stuff (though he might be able to do larger stuff and we just never see it), goggles boy tends to fire it like a gun, some of them can only do barriers, that kind of stuff. Hell, there's one girl who can only manipulate individual freaking particles.

Unrestricted TK just isn't there. Unrestricted anything isn't there really, cept for Mikoto.
>>
>>32639208
Which is more or less the first explanation I presented.
>>
>>32639364
Eh, Awaki doesn't have trouble teleporting herself because of her powers, she could do it easily when she was younger. She's just traumatized from accidentally teleporting her leg into the floor once, which ripped it up pretty good. So she freaks the fuck out whenever she thinks about teleporting.

Once she gets that nifty relaxation neckbrace she starts teleporting herself just fine.
>>
>>32639416
Level 5 Awaki would be terrifying.
>>
>>32639460
Level 5 Awaki could copy Thor's auto-win trick according to Kamachi. She'd probably be the new #3.

Both the stairs and the elevator were the obvious entrances and besides, you were roof hopping for the past five minutes, what’s another when you could arrest your fall? Aiming for Nunotaba’s balcony, you slowly floated yourself down. It was easier to control direction when you were falling but much harder on the ascent. You wondered why that was. Perhaps it was worth looking in to later.

You found Nunotaba’s room a mess. Her dining table was overturned and had weird stresses on the wood. The other side was metallic and had bullets in them. From where you came in from, there was a blood stain that traversed all the way to behind her kitchen. Three men were dead by the door, their weapons gone whereas the door itself was shot open.

“Nunotaba?” you called out.

“そこに,” you heard her reply.

You found your previous employer trying to bandage her arm behind the kitchen counter, a shotgun, two handguns and a SMG lay around her. She wasn’t bleeding profusely but she having a hard time with only one arm.

“We need to get out of here before more show up,” she spoke as you helped her, “と, I need more painkillers.”

You gave her some before the two of you gathered yourselves to leave.

“What about the other tenants?”

“だいじょぶ, they’ve been evacuated already, judging by the lack of screaming when they attacked.”

“Anti-Skill had a cordon up too,” you agreed with her assessment.

The shotgun had four shells left, the SMG had a mag of fifteen, and the pistol Nunotaba wasn’t using had two shots left. Nunotaba posited that they thought it would have been a quick job and didn’t bring too much ammo. It wasn’t cheap after all. As you were about to decide on your exit, you heard boots thumping down the hall. They turned the corner as you stuck your head out the door, kitted out in nifty suits and sporting SMGs.

>>32640116
a 9mm round generates 550-650j out of a 6 inch barrel. Convert that to whatever makes sense to you.
>>
>>32640151
A .22 LR outputs around 200 joules. The MP7, a fairly common submachine gun uses the 4.6x30mm, which outputs around 500 per round.

And AC weaponry should be pretty advanced, given what we've seen of the rest of their arsenal...

You ducked back quickly though they did notice your appearance. It was probably too late to jump out of the window now so Nunotaba and you take up position at different corners of the room. She was leaning on the counter whilst you took position near her bedroom door on the opposite side. That they were taking so long to enter the room should have tipped you off. Which was why you didn’t react fast enough when a grenade came flying in through the door way and everything exploded in to white hot ringing.

You were disoriented enough that it spoiled your aim but you could tell there were figures stepping in to the room. The SMG in your hands opened up regardless seeing as Nunotaba wasn’t immediately in your line of fire. Slowly your vision returned swimming in tears and fuzziness as bullets plinked your cover and forcing you back reflexively. Your hearing was last to return to acceptable levels of sensibility and you caught the tail end of a thump before you popped out once more with your pistol, catching another suited gunman as he was pulling one of his downed comrades back. Covering fire from the dorm room’s main entrance had you pulling back out of sight as Nunotaba got up and fired off the shotgun once more. They fell back but you were sure they had more grenades at their disposal.

Crawling out of the bedroom, you relocated to behind to couch before they came back in with another stun grenade attack. They already figured out where you were shooting from, that was your reasoning. Still you needed line of sight with the door so you could TK whatever grenade they threw in next. It was red coloured one this time but you paid it no mind as you flicked it back out the doorway. That was what should have happened but instead it exploded mid-air, throwing patches of flame, around the room and igniting the doorway and everything between the dining table and the hallway outside.

It was an incendiary you concluded as the screams of the gunmen outside could be heard before you came up with your gun raised. Then you noticed your jacket had caught fire forcing you out of it as fast as you could as felt the burn along your right arm. Nunotaba had thankfully taken cover and wasn’t suffering much more than the gunshot wound in her arm. Thick smoke was building up but it was fine since you could and did jump out the window with Nunotaba. You could hear more explosions going off as you leapt.

Waiting at street level was your girlfriend Asuka and Sparky.

“I wonder if I must play the damsel in distress before you carried me like a princess,” Asuka said.

“This the kind of work you do?” Sparky added.

“You talking about rescuing damsels in distress or the ‘lighting myself on fire’?” you asked Sparky in turn.

“Er, both?”

“Well the first’s is a part time job and the second is a great hit at parties. Really impresses the kids.”

Heaven Canceller’s checked you and Nunotaba in but it didn’t look like you’d have to stay overnight. Nunotaba would of course, seeing as her dorm was now thoroughly on fire, as the latest news agencies reported. The bad news was that you were probably going to get some scarring, and missed out on looting the bodies, not to mention you needed to re-grow your almost non-existent eyebrows again. The good news was that it was mostly superficial but you needed to keep it wrapped up for a few days.

For now though you sat outside and enjoyed some juice whilst the doc finished dealing with Nunotaba’s gunshot wound. It looked like she might need some surgery.

“Do not mind it dear, have I told you that I did not mind a little scarring?” Asuka reassured you.

“Of course you have,” you replied, “I think you said it was hot.”

Sparky punched you on your good arm.

“Seriously how’d you get in to that kind of mess in the first place?” Sparky demanded.

“I lead a very active lifestyle,” you dodged the issue, “Anyways, I need a new jacket.”

“Then perhaps we could go shopping, I recall that your,” Asuka eyed Sparky carefully, “guest is in need of clothes.”

“Yes, she’s a very important guest indeed,” you told Sparky, “Want to meet her?”

She did and so you got up and led her over to the room that Last Order was resting in. Sparky gasped as you brushed the tiny girl’s hair out of her face.

“Looks familiar doesn’t she?” you sat down at her bedside.

“She’s really a clone?” Sparky asked disbelief tingeing her voice.

“Unit 20001, Last Order and administrator of the Misaka Network,” you introduced Sparky to the smaller one of her, “She’s sleeping now because the deaths of the Misakas on the network were affecting her.”

“What? When? How?”

“You remember what I told you yesterday right?” she nodded, “Nunotaba had a job that was going to help us shut down Level 6 Shift. That’s where we found her.”

You breathed deeply.

“I made the choice Sparky, I had her life in my hands,” you explained, “I could have just chosen to kill her but I didn’t.”

“But it’s over! Why isn’t she awake?”

“That’s up to the doc, but I wouldn’t say it’s over until I see it for myself,” you replied, “You’re not alone in wanting the project dead, count on it Sparky.”

“You do realise that acting cool still won’t make her your little sister right dear?” Asuka finally spoke, “Even if she is cute as a button.”

Sparky recoiled at the suggestion as you gave a shrug.

“Anyway, we should check up on Nunotaba before we leave,” you got up.

Turns out that Nunotaba had just gotten out of surgery so the doc wasn’t going to just let you waltz in right away but he did say that she was going to be alright. The bullet didn’t do much damage and her arm should be fully healed within the month.

The time is now afternoon, the weather is cool, and the date remains unchanged.

Your first order of business was to get a new jacket, preferably something that was also flame retardant. It was much to Asuka’s surprise how picky you were with your jackets. It was really the only thing you could wear on top of your summer uniform and your regular shirts. When winter came you would have to pick up your new uniform, which you hated but that was neither here nor there. In the end you settled for three different jackets, one made of leather and was meant for bikers with extra padding and flame retardation, another regular one that you thought was nice and comfortable for everyday wear, and the last was a black winter coat that had soft fur lining.

You also got some clothes for Last Order, though Asuka handled that as you wandered about and got some aviator’s sunglasses and a shoulder holster for a handgun at an airsoft hobby shop. There were other things you wanted to get, like a miniature refrigerator and a bicycle but Asuka mentioned that you really didn’t have a need for them. With shopping for mundane items completed you found a payphone to call Toulour from.

“Afternoon Torikov, nice job last night, and this morning too I guess,” he greeted, “You really nabbed a valuable item there.”

“I also met one of ITEM and they really do have a ridiculous name,” you replied.

“I know right? To what do I owe the pleasure of this call by the way?”

“I’m looking for items that aren’t exactly easy to get a hold of, you think you can recommend me to a buyer?”

“Like what C4?”

“Just normal ammo.”

You wondered why you’d need C4.

“Well let’s see, I don’t suppose I should tell you about a very scary American arms dealer by Gage in School District 3 should I?”

“I guess, how much for the info?”

“That’s a freebie, I get bonuses for referrals,” Toulour then gave you the address, “That is if he wants to deal with you in the first place. If he doesn’t then you’re shit out of luck.”

“I’ll think about it then. Thanks Toulour.”

“No problem.”
[2/3]
>>
>>32644177
As you hung up you headed home with Asuka.

“By the way, what did ITEM want with you anyway?”

“I would not know dear,” Asuka answered, “I assumed that there would be reprisals against me for ruining their job but apparently they stopped following me as soon as I hailed a cab. Who knows why they are interested in me.”

“Well let’s hope that it’s nothing personal then,” you concluded.

As you made your way upstairs to your dorm you saw Touma in the hallway with Index and a calico kitten. He looked up at you and waved.

“Hey Kyril, did you know Biribiri has a younger sister?”

While your Ability “Offence Armour” made you perfectly invulnerable to attack there was a weakness in that if you were hit with a strong enough force you would get blown off your feet. It’s happened multiple times already, and this last one was definitely the final straw. You are Kinuhata Saiai and you are super pissed you got blown the fuck out. It was that damnable sword wielding girl’s fault. The crazy bitch cut up everyone else up and if it wasn’t for your Ability you think you may have ended up like much like the cannon fodder.

Even that last hit that threw you several metres too far away to get up and chase after the intruders was her fault. She was distracting you, you realised. Still, what was done was done, even if Mugino did fault you for your tunnel vision, not that she wasn’t being a super hypocrite about it though. This was why you were curious as to who it was that actually hit up the facility you were guarding. It wasn’t every day that an assault like this was coordinated. Though this wasn’t strictly ITEM business so you had to do things the old fashioned way, personal matters were supposed to be settled in your own time and with your own resources. Besides, it wasn’t like you were itching for revenge or anything. First things first you had to,

There were just some things that couldn’t be gleaned from books, reports, dry pieces of writing that even bored academics to tears. What you needed was more than just the facts, you had plenty of those. You wanted impressions, feelings, thoughts, speculation, and the kind of fuzzy data that often gave more away than just black on white. What you wanted and what you got were two different things. Still it was better than nothing, given your terrible chore going at it. It wasn’t hard to ask about a sword using girl in this day and age but it was hard to reliable information given that most of them ended up dead or humiliated and in jail.

The rumours went that the girl was a Level 4 Ability User but that she used a sword because she sought the challenge of battle. She had grown bored of using her ability to win every time. It was why she was known amongst the underground fighting circuit. She was practically undefeated there as well, there weren’t many opponents wishing to have more than one shot at The Dictator as she was known. Maybe she got bored of fighting chumps? You didn’t know what drove her but you did know she was often in the company of another interesting but obscure figure in the dark. Other than that you wondered how she came to be so strong just in case you ever met her again.

OMG we can derails all 3 male protagonists from their canon destiny.

1) Accelerator - DONE - derailed by not meeting LO.
2) Touma - In Progress - try to make him less involves in either side of magic and science by cockblocking him on plot related events.
3) Shiage - In Progress - same as above. Or just recruite/kill him.
>>
>>32645671
Touma's already massively derailed. He never got amnesia'd.

The lack of Pendex is also a somewhat big deal.
>>
>>32645671
Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Don't get involved unless we are getting paid.
>>
>>32645671
No matter what we do, Touma's plot will go back into place once Fiamma starts his shit. He needs Touma for that. So no worries there, though hopefully we start doing our own stuff instead of replacing all the protagonists in their own arcs.

Unless you want us to fight Fiamma. Pfftahahaha.
>>
>>32645731
If i remember correctly, he lacks defensive skills. We can just snipe the fucker.

I don't think we'll be doing much of anything other than fighting once Hound Dog comes after Kyril's ass.
>>
>>32645839
Nah. His power blocked AC's kill sat, and Fiamma explicitly didn't know it was there or that it was even shooting at him.
>>
So how much longer till we can stop bullets?
>>
>>32645925
We might be able to stop a couple .22 rounds.

Outright stopping a wave of gunfire would be high level 3, low level 4. We just hit 3, so awhile.

It was the associate which made you interested. See, skill could be learned anywhere, taught for money, or what have you. The people you met though, that was probably up to pure chance most of the time. You imagined that the probability of them hitting it off right away were slim to none, not with the picture of a super violent girl being painted by the rumours you given. She was definitely not alone on that job and it wasn’t just the scientist chick she was supposedly guarding.

It was a boy, high school aged, but as people in your line of work, it wasn’t particularly outstanding. What was outstanding to note was that he didn’t have much of a history, even as a Child Error. A super rookie then, you thought as you dug further. He got in to his fair share of fights but he wasn’t just a violent thug. No, he was a person that got what he wanted. It was just that his goals often facilitated or led to violence. You recognised the face. After all, you had just seen it last night. Now the picture became clear. The Dictator was the distraction all along and he snuck in right past the defences. You even got his name unusual name, Torikov. That they were apparently dating was icing on the cake. You weren’t surprised at all to know he had formed his own merry band of thieves that called themselves the Problem Children. Despite all the time you’ve spent in your line of work there were still some things that could surprise you and this was one of them. You had been played by a pro. That was why you,

You were going to get back at him. To do that you had to steal his precious thing. You had no idea what it was but it made perfect sense. He was thief so it was natural you showed him up at his own game. But how were you going to get back at him and The Dictator as well now that you were at it? Maybe you had to find out more about them. That was probably the wisest course for now.

That was what you thought and that was what you were going to do. The personal goal you had set for yourself lingered in your mind as ITEM convened for some breakfast and a meeting the following morning. It was mercifully brief and thus the four of you normally just lounged about shooting the breeze. This would have continued way in to lunch if not for the fact that you spotted The Dictator walking by the window. You got up quickly to follow her. The meeting was over so it was time for your personal bit of business. You didn’t care that the others were following you but you had to know first of all, what The Dictator was up to, and how could you use her to get to Torikov.

Interlude End. Let us reconvene on Wednesday.

We can't win in a straight fight against this Saiai person right?

>>32647091
Nope. Even if we trick her into going into a nitrogenless environment, she carries around canisters of compressed nitrogen.
>>
What the hell is Kyril's precious thing?

I don't think Asuka would like being called a thing
>>
>>32647091
we could always shake her until she loses consciousness
>>
>>32647091
Generate manipulative field inside her barrier/body, slam outward to disable. Might even pass Accelerator's passive defense with enough (lvl 4/5?) control. Reflection only goes so far when the attack's vectors come into existence surrounded by squishy bits.

Seems kinda evil though.
>>
>>32647091
We can probably just lift her off the ground and spin her in the air until she pukes her guts out.
>>
>>32647764
We can't do that because we aren't directly applying force, but rather using a telekinetic limb.
>>
>>32647477

Surprised no one mentioned this yet. It's probably the brightest/happiest part of his life.

Good to know. Data just says "generates a field of force that then affects the object". Know if it spools out from the body or if it just appears when activated?

thread 11

>It just so happens that your Telekinesis generates some kind of force which then acts on an object, causing it to move about or what have you. In simpler terms, you hand an invisible hand. Granted it had the potential to do more than just a simple hand but that you were knew was just a matter of practice now.
>>
>>32647973
It's not a literal hand, that's just the way it was described.
>>
>>32647973
When I see hand, I don't always think of it as attached to the body when talking about abilities. Not my call on how it goes though, and there's better ideas mentioned. Just though I'd try and put out some ideas on how to branch out.
>>
So the consensus is shake her until she isn't a problem. Seems like a sound plan to me.
>>
>>32648141
Kyril can lift 512 lbs.

I'd be surprised if she's even near 100 lbs

just lift and chuck her. or slam her against a wall repeatedly
>>
>>32648196
I'd go with the tossing or shaking/spinning over slamming her. Her ability could protect against blunt impacts, but it won't do much against getting thrown out of range or passing out.
>>
>>32648196
Shaking is a far more entertaining solution.
>>
>>32648196
Let's see just how far we can throw a bitch.
>>
>>32648416
set the olympic record in Bitch toss
>>
It would be hard but in theory we could. Light cloth on fire and toss it with TK or grab her given her weight and slam her into something like a compacter. We couldn't directly go into her shield but convection of heat shouldn't have too much trouble and pure blunt trauma from like a chunk of a building being dropped on her head should do the trick.

If we had some canisters of rocket fuel from boss we could do a little more. A flashbang is also a possible distraction since sound and light goes though her barrier. We are also understand the effectiveness first hand.
