Welcome ladies and gentlemen to another edition of Succubus Lord Quest! The quest that’s slow as a fucking snail at this point, but simply keeps chugging along!

If you’re wondering why this is so late, feel free to check the twitter for the reasoning there.

Last time on Succubus Lord Quest, we decided to head on over to the Vampire’s turf in order to gather the needed materials to frame them properly, so the Pride Demons would focus on them instead of us. After plans going sour by a sudden hero inquisition, we were forced to take a lolicon hero Cleric and escort her out of the Vampiric base, while also having someone to carry the bag for us. After a brief conversation, where we find out that she’s actually a big hero cleric, we arranged a dinner date with her, calling in the favor of saving her life. Which left Brooklyn carrying the large sack of weapons and clothing back to the tower by herself.

We now continue from where we left off!

Also the second post was an ugly post with lots of eyesore text, which is now all compiled here!

“I’m back!” you say nearly kicking open the door of your tower home.

“Brooklyn! You’re nearly an hour and a half late!” Ada gets out up from her chair, her face obviously fuming as she heads over to you.

“Ran into a minor setback, but nothing I couldn’t take care of.” you casually reply as you use a tentacle to close the door behind you.

“No plan survives contact with the enemy.” Alex simply states as he leans back in his chair.

“See! I told you guys it was nothing to worry about!” Mina says.

“But I was so worried. I mean Brooklyn is paying me to protect him, and here I miscast my alarm spell to wake up in the morning.” Wilhelmina says with her monotone expression.

“That isn’t the case here! When we have a plan, we stick to that plan! If we don’t, then the plan falls apart, chaos reigns, and everything in the world all goes to hell as fire rains from the sky, Pandemonium opens up, and cats and dogs start living together!” Ada says in a huff, inhaling and exhaling deeply. “You... did get what you were sent for right?”

Well at the very least you have the vampire weapons and clothing you were sent for yes...

"Well, I have the weapons and the clothing...” you say putting the bag down on the floor. “Though I did hear and learn some interesting things. ...Any of that soup left?”

“Plenty!” Mina says as she gets a bowl of soup for you.

Firstly, they have at least one Lamian spy on their payroll.” you say taking the wooden bowl in your hands.

“I’m more shocked about how you found such a thing out, but go ahead.” Ada replies.

“Secondly, they have just been raided by a Group of Heroes, and I happened to find one of them in a box... And I may have subsequently saved, then made a deal with said Hero." you say as you a spoonfull of soup.

“You WHAT!?” Ada nearly yells out.

“Was the hero rugged and manly!?” Mina asks.

“Was he a foreign gentleman?” Wilhelmina asks.

“Did he at the very least treat a woman like you with the proper respect your deserve?” Alex asks while sipping some soup.

...Well it was a lesbian cleric who nearly jumped you...

Ada just stares at you flatly. “...So she was a pedophile.”

“...I’d avoid such language, but essentially yes.” you reply taking a sip and chewing on a hunk of meat.

Wilhelmina just bursts out laughing upon hearing this, tears nearly coming out from the corner of her eyes. “Oh Pamille! That’s... That’s just perfect!”

“...I don’t get it.” Mina says, as if missing the joke.

“...It was Amelia Rothschild wasn’t it?” Alex asks.

“How do you know?” you ask.

“When we met them in training, she seemed to completely ignore my advances and... well I know the gaze of a predator when I see one, and she certainly had eyes for Troy.” Alex replies. “A fair bargain I thought. After all, it would not be interesting without a handicap.”

“Please tell me you cut off all communication with her.” Ada asks.

You finish chewing up some of the vegtables in your soup before turning back to Ada. "I am meeting the Cleric for a spot of tea later this week to discuss matters regarding our deal... and 'suitable' ways to release her suppressed desires."

“Aaaww! How sweet!” Mina says.

“How vulgar!” Ada gasps in horror.

“Are... Are you actually going to be a loli in that form too!?” Wilhelmina asks, still holding her sides.

“Stop mixing in language like that!” Mina yells at Wilhelmina.

“...Am I invited?” Alex asks

"Yes Wilhelmina, it seems "Big sis" also has a masochistic or predatory side.” you reply before turning to Alex. “And no, you are not. I’m a demon, a demon focused on dark magical arts. Corrupting and humiliating Heroes, Warriors, and Mercenaries is practically in our job description.”

“I think she did all the work for you...” Wilhelmina says wiping a tear from her eye.

“Just... Don’t tell me how it went. People who go after others purely for phyiscal appearance are shallow, vapid people.” Ada proudly states.

Mina just guffaws upon hearing that.

“I can hear you!” Ada shouts back at her.

“Also it seems vampires know about the Subota secret passage in the library and are aware something is going up.” you add. “...Oh right and the naga that disappear in the city end up as the secret ingredient of Global's Mystery Soup."

Alex’s face goes pale upon hearing this.

“Well aside from an establishment I’ll never eat from again, it appears we have something rather worrying on our, or should I say your hands.” Ada says to you.

“Why me?” you ask.

“You’re an Okarian my dear. If the vampires, or anyone really, knows about holes in the library’s security, it should be your duty as a member of that clan to inform them about it.” Ada replies.

“But then they’re going to ask how she knows about it.” Wilhelmina plainly states, back in her monotone voice.

"It's not really a problem insofar that most vampire will have something else to worry about soon enough. But since the vampires know there might be other factions that do since there is also someone selling info to them." you reply.

“It’s a problem for all of them. Brooklyn the clans are not as tight as you think. There are demons out there who will work for coin, regardless of who else they need to backstab to get it.” Ada replies.

“The main reason the clans were so popular was because they protected us against the Pride Demons. The reason they’re around today is because it’s a strong holdover.” Wilhelmina states.

“Yes, that much I figured out on my own. Humans are the same way, and I would be foolish to assume that demons are not the same.” you reply.

“Yes, hence why a Laminian selling information to the vampires really doesn’t bother nor surprise me. I’m just more shocked you actually managed to fool them into thinking that you were the informant.” Ada replies.

“Not so hard once you get used to it... My word, is it 6:30 already?” you ask looking at the clock.

“That’s what it says.” Wilhelmina replies.

Call the Okerian queen. We need to pass along the news, and I also want to ask her if there is a way to sever the connection between an enlightened and the person who enlightened her. If we're going to turn Amelia Rothschild into our maid/stable aether supply we need a method to deal with the angel who empowered her trying to kill her.

Humm could summon Okarian and have her relay to her daughter about this security breach. need to think of an excuse to hide source of info. hum couple of ways to handle this. either say that the tunnel does not exist and remove it probably best bet, say that adventures either found an unknown tunnel or made their own to the library but where fended off and tunnel sealed.

while i want to do this i am not sure we will have enough time to study basic physics for our study group. saying that since we are studying space the manipulation of space and time it would benefit from looking at it from a different perspective; maybe eventually going into relativity and quantum mechanics later.

And maybe talk about how magic theoretically could be used to break these rules since magic is not bound by these rules.

“I’m going to head up to my room then. Catch up on some reading then head on up to an early bedtime.” you say to everyone.

“You did manage to get weapons that’d pin the blame on the vampires right?” Ada asks you.

“Oh absolutely. Emblems and everything. However the clothing aspect was a bit tricky. I was under a time limit, so I only grabbed what I could.” you reply.

“Including a... pedophile priest.” Wilhelmina says trying to stifle her laughter.

“What’s so funny about that!?” Mina asks.

“I’ll explain the stereotype to you later.” Alex says to Mina.

“Hm... Well so long as it’s something we can pin back to the vampires, then we’ll be fine.” Ada says as she heads on over to the bag. “You’re excused for the time being Brooklyn.”

“Night Ada.” you say walking up to your room.

Before starting the ritual, you get undressed and into your nightgown. You’re not planning to go out again, and having something light on you is a nice feeling compared to the padded clothing you usually wear nearly all the time.

You set up the ritual to try summoning Oksana, but just after you finish the ritual, literally nothing happens. You repeat it to try and summon her again, but nothing comes up.

Could summon Myu and have her relay that the vampires seem to know about the secrete tunnel to Oksana.

Could pinch the idea of us and Amanda could use the library/collage and cross reference all known science vaults to see if any were perhaps unopened or unknown. >>
You decide to wait a bit for Oksana, hopefully she won’t be taking that long with her kids, but you only needed to talk with her for a few minutes, so in the meantime you could get some serious reading done.

Opening the books you borrowed from the library, you begin to plough through them. Keeping the book of Necromatic terms and basic theories next to you while you go through your main reading book. Part of you wishes that you owned these books, just to let you make your own personal notes on them, but for the time being you’ll manage.

After a good few hours with the books, you try to summon up Oksana. Surprisingly enough, it fails again. After going back to the books for an hour, you try the ritual again and it eventually works.

“It took enough times trying to summon you...” you say in a small, exasperated tone as soon as Oksana appears.

“Yes, but for a good cause! So far my daughters have been filling me in on the details on what happened over the past several hundred years. Needless to say it’s... complex.” Oksana replies. “But thanks to you, some leadership can be regained with the Okarians again.”

“But what about the Greed Demons?” you ask.

“Those have to be dealt with in one way or another, but for now I’m just content on being filled in on the politics of local region and the Okarians for nearly 300 years.” Oksana replies. “Now, what did you call me here for Brooklyn? Still not used to wearing panties?”

“No, I’m not. It’s... I’m still not used to how snug it feels down there...” you mutter.

“Passes with time. Also don’t think getting hit the crotch won’t hurt anymore. It still does.” Oksana warns you.

(Time for my bedtime. I have class early tomorrow, but the only class tomorrow, which means I can come home early and do this again around 9:30 AM EST and do so for the rest of the day.)

" I will be brief as i need you to relay a very important message to your daughters. While infiltrating a vampire lair that was then raided by adventurers, the knights of ni specifically,I was mistaken as a Spy probably a lamina, under the vampire's employment. I learned that they know about the secrete entrance and that they seem to be aware that it is being used more frequently lately.

You may have a better idea but their are two ways i can think of dealing with this. First either removing the tunle and pretending it does not exist; probably the best choice. Second make it look like adventurers discovered a hidden tunnel or made their own through magic and were repelled.

However this does not address the fact that their is a spy or how to leave the library secretly if needed. I could try looking more into it but it will take time and i am worried who else might know.

“Gathering materials to pin crimes against the vampires instead of us.” you reply.

“I not knowing!? Pretty easy not to know when I haven’t been there for several centuries!” Oksana replies before taking a few deep breaths. “We’ve always had trouble with some Adventurers trying to dig into the Library, but I only imagine it got worse when the Greed Demons were trying to take it over.”

“Most certainly that’s the case.” you reply. “You may have a better idea but there are two ways I can think of dealing with this. “This doesn’t address the fact that their is a spy that knows how to leave the library secretly. I’ll ask my daughters to look into it, but right now I’m worried about who else knows about such a thing and for how long it’s been like this.” Oksana replies. “Though from what I heard, this isn’t the other first major security breach I’ve heard about, nor had to deal with. There was the case a long time ago that back in the old world a sect of Ayarians managed to find a break in point. I didn’t find it a big deal, but most of my clans are spellcasters who are always so secretive. Okarians almost always feel threatened if they feel their secrets are breached.”

“Is that the same for everyone?” you ask.

“Not at all. Miyians have basic education for free, even to mortals. Trying to get even the basics out of an Okarian as a mortal means being a test subject, slave, or apprentice for years. Learning the high levels of magic as an Okarian could very well mean the same thing as a mortal.” Oksana replies.

“...You mean I’m going to need to be some Okarian’s bitch kid for the next few years?” you ask.

“Hey! Look on the bright side! since you’re a lesbian and she’s a Succubus, sexual favors will become a lot easier to fulfill!” Oksana says.

You just remain silent staring at her.

“A joke! Really a joke!” Oksana quickly and nervously says.

"So you’re saying that if I wanted to learn magic I'd have to slave away for a more powerful Okerian? Maybe run errands for her like checking up on wayward daughters and other more dangerous tasks. Probably wouldn't get a copper in return either." you reply to Oksana.

“I get the hint.” Oksana replies. “I’m more concerned if Luna has done something stupid like ‘accidently’ given me a dozen grandkids.”

“How the hell can that be an accident?” you ask Oksana. “Don’t Succubi control their fertility cycles?”

“Yes, but it doesn’t stop some stupid rumors going around claiming that sex is better if you can get knocked up.” Oksana says with a sigh. “Stupid, stupid rumor and is the bane of our population control at times. It was hard enough in the Old World where even with our population manipulations, both direct population and census alterations that the global male to female population was four males to six females.”

“W-Wow, that bad?” you ask.

“No, one of those six females were often a Succubi. If you removed them from the factor is was normal population split, but we were all in agreement with it, even though many Succubi didn’t like it. Hell Janine was the one who implemented it, and she’s the most pro-Succubus person I know of.” Oksana replies. “After the Pride Demons won, Succubi from all over the Realms must’ve come here, and now there’s a problem where probably half the women in the city are Succubi of some sorts.”

“Also out of curiousity, is there a way to sever the connection between an a magical creature who endows a mortal with magical power? you ask.

“Death.” Oksana replies.

“I was afraid of that.” you say with a sigh. “No other ways?”

“Afraid not. Once it’s done, it’s done. Killing the creature who bestowed power to the mortal would also kill the mortal too.” Oksana replies.

“...So there’s literally nothing I can do. Great.” you say with a sigh.

“I... Wouldn’t say nothing. Lamia liked to capture demons who bestowed power on mortal VIP’s and often tortured them endlessly.” Oksana replies. “It doesn’t matter what the condition is of the one who bestowed power, so long as their body and soul are alive.”

“Oh, well good to know then.” you reply. “Also I intend on using your daughters to help teach me light and dark magic as a favor for doing all of this crap.”

“The only one of my daughters who knows both light and dark extensively is Luna.” Oksana states flatly.

“OK.” you reply.

“...So what you’re saying is you want lessons from me.” Oksana replies.

“I figured but I didn’t want to assume as such.” you reply.

>“Afraid not. Once it’s done, it’s done. Killing the creature who bestowed power to the mortal would also kill the mortal too.” Oksana replies.
Okay,
1. That wasn't what we were asking. We wanted to know if there was a way to stop the giver of the power to use his ability over the empower to kill them that doesn't involve a quest to kidnap an archangel in Rome. Like jamming their kill command.
2. You've already said you can turn an enlightened into a demon, its just more difficult. Doesn't that deal with the kill command?
3. Pretty sure it was the current regent of the Succubi who uses light and dark, not Luna. At least that's what you told us earlier.
>>
>>32526947
Mary also used darkness magic of at least Great level when we first met her. Probably higher
>>
>>32526871
Try to figure out if there is some way to stun the drauger so that we can use death magic to kill it dead.
>>
>>32527013
Might have been cloaking, but it certainty looks like darkness to me.

>>32527036
No, we already have a plan for that, and of course there is stunning magic. Some patsies currently have the body and are planning to have the Belkerian duke with the soul stealing sword greet him when he respawns.
>>
>>32527013

Oksana said both, not one or the other.

Mary knows dark yes
>>
>>32527072
I say we do our utmost to make sure that plan goes off successfully and not just be elsewhere while a killteam shows up to ruin said plan.
>>
>>32527107
see >>32526947 you told us Wendy knows light/dark IIRC. Getting her to teach us has been brought up dozens of times before. I'm kinda confused why you haven't mentioned this before if people have been going about an impossible plan for about 6 months.
>>
>>32527133

I'll check the logs again later, I may have gotten Luna and Wendy mixed up by accident.
>>
>>32527144
And the jamming thing? I want the ability to corrupt her without the ability of the Archangel to just "nope" us from Rome. Given that corrupting hero's is a thing, there has to be some way to do so.

[1/2]

“Is there any way to stop the kill signal an owner could give to his enlightened?” you ask.

“Oh easy, Planar shift with dimensional seal.” Oksana replies.

“Oh well that’s easier than I t-”

“Which also has the side effect of making them go into a coma.” Oksana then continues. “When a user makes a contract to become Enlightened, their very essence is tied in with the contractor. If his soul cannot somehow make contact with their owner than their mind simply shuts down. The body will be alive but the mind will be dead.”

“Then how does turning a person into a demon stop this from happening? It’s kinda scary thinking that if you die, then I die as well.” you reply.

“You can do the same if you want, but only upon turning a person into a demon. Demons are different though in that if you make a demon who is completely independent of you, you’re basically making a reactor and not something like a plug with you as a power source.” Oksana explains.

“Well so much for my corruption ideas...” you mutter.

“Corruption ideas?” Oksana asks.

“Yes! I mean aren’t Succubi supposed to tempt heroes!?” You ask.

“...You mean Celestian ones right?” Oksana ask.
>>
>>32527202
That fucking wild card that is our dead self will fuck us over, we need to kill it until it is really dead.
>>
[2/2]

“Of course!” you reply.

“Then make sure they are not enlightened by a higher power, which should be easy as most Celestian Adventurers are not enlightened by angels, such angel enlightened people serve supplementary or bookkeeping roles. Celestia wants to make sure that if some important angel dies, people can avenge him. Which is not possible if all of his underlings are dead because he is.” Oksana states.

“Like my father?” you ask.

“Exactly like your father. Heroes, as in the capital H one, are never enlightened by default. You cannot produce a Hero by enlightenment. Adventurers are often known as the zero to hero people, and the stories of their uprising are far better when it isn’t ‘an angel gave it to them’.” Oksana replies.

“What about Clerics and Paladins?” you ask.

“Adventurers. Clerics and Paladins use an invocation system of magic, a religious system of magic that runs off faith. I won’t get into the heavy details, but you don’t need to surrender your actual soul to a higher power to gain access to Invocations. The Paladin and Cleric you brought us for example had their souls fully intact. Someone experienced in Aether sight or spirit Magic can usually tell if a person’s power is done by enlightenment or just naturally awakened aether.” Oksana explains.
>>
>>32527202

though liberal usage of Propoganda and 'paladin falls' tactics...

alternatively, we could try using mental manipulation magic, myian medical superscience mind control/wiping technologies... direct neural trauma...

Just look at how hard it was to make Leona convert from the Church of Celestia.... I assume that we can't try to shift the Cleric's worship to the Church of Pamille, so we will either need to get her to leave Celestia, or ideally, make her more open to other views than the single view of Celestia...

“I got nothing else Oksana. Feel free to go back to your kids.” you tell her.

“Knowing my luck I’m just going to head back to hear Carine and Roselle bicker for the next several hours to one another.” Oksana mutters as she begins to dissolve into smoke.

“...Now to scrape the candles off the floor...” you mutter to yourself.

“Oh Bbbbrrroookkkklllyyynnnn!” Mina says calling out for you outside your bedroom.

“Doors open. What is it Mi-”

You turn around to a sight that seems to make your own heart flutter. It’s Mina, but rather it’s what she’s dressed in. A semi-transparent teddy which contrasts sharply against her dark skin, white bra and panties also easily visible beneath it.

“M-Mina! What’s the occasion?” you ask, a bit off put by the sudden spontaneous act that Mina is pulling off in front of you.

“Well... I thought that you could use a little attention and... R&R due to how much you’ve been working lately...” Mina says leaning against your back, her breasts squishing up against your back. “Plus... I’ve gotten a little present for you...”

“This isn’t a present?” you ask her, happy but confused to where she’s going with this.

“Only half of it. You see... The other half involves a fairly expensive... feedback item that I recently bought and I thought that you’d enjoy...” Mina says with a small giggle

“With sensory...”

“I always kinda felt bad that you never got to experience the equipment you were born with, so I thought on how to go about ‘solving’ that problem...” Mina says in a sly tone.

At this point you only sigh, pulling your knees up to your chest and just staring at the ground.

“Hm... Maybe it doesn’t work as I used to have a real one...” you mutter to yourself.

“N-No I don’t think that’s the case. One Succubi I knew claimed to be a mortal male, but it worked just fine for her. Granted she used to be an elf.” Mina replies.

You give a small sigh as you pull your knees away and hug Mina. “I’m not mad at you Mina, no where near it. You spent a lot of gold on an expensive sex toy and planned this all out for me, so there’s no way I would be angry at you. I’m just more angry at myself for not understanding why this doesn’t work.”

“I wanted to do something for your stress and I only made it worse...” Mina says pouting.

“No really, it’s the thought that counts.” you say replying to Mina.

“No! You’ve been under so much and I wanted to help you vent some of it!” Mina says in a worried tone. “...Unless...”

“Unless?” you ask.

“M-Maybe it’s only configured for one person? Either way, it works for me, a-and nothing could be lost from trying...” Mina says, grabbing your hand and giving it a gentle squeeze.

You give a small bite on your lip as you think this over. The idea of something phallic with sensory feedback going into you does kinda make you squeamish, but at the same time, you know and trust Mina. If there’s anyone who could make you feel comfortable throughout the ordeal, it’d definitely be her.

“...Alright... I trust you Mina.” you say giving her a small kiss on the lips and a gentle peck on the cheek. “...But no putting it up my ass... Or making me deepthroat it... And please don’t... try and treat me like too much of a woman...”

“Oh don’t worry Brooklyn, I know how important the remaining bits of your masculinity are.” Mina says with a small hug back to you. “It won’t be anything too ‘fruity’ as you guys often say, but just follow my lead in the beginning and we’ll work our way up from there, Kay?”

“My my, someone looks energetic this morning.” Alex says as he passes a plate of eggs to Uilodsir. “How do you want your eggs?”

“Sunny side, and yes. I am feeling GREAT this morning.” you say plopping down in your seat.

“Any reason for that daughter?” your father asks you.

“Secret~.” You happily reply.

Ada, who’s meanwhile brooding in the corner speaks up. “Oh... Oh I know alright...”

“Hm?” you ask Ada.

Ada takes a brief pause as she takes a deep breath, a slight cough coming out of her mouth. “OH YES! THAT’S IT! HARDER MINA! I’M NEARLY THERE! HARDER! ” Ada seems to scream out in your own voice.

You never had such a store back in Fort Hope. Things like this were basically caravan orders and something you paid out of the ass for. Now you’re surrounded by all sorts of perverted... things as far as the eye can see. Potions, lotions, strap ons, harnesses, and even something that appears a wooden triangle in the corner of the room.

“Welcome to Alan’s Adult Goods Emporium! How may I help you today?” a light green haired woman in a rather unassuming apron says greeting you.

“Yes, I bought a special product here the other day. A feedback strapon.” Mina tells her. “There seems to be a problem with it.”

“Oh? What’s the problem?” the woman asks.

“It doesn’t work for my partner. However for me it works fine.” Mina explains to her.

“M-Mina please, I told you it’s fine.” you say to her.

“No it’s not! I paid hard coin for it, and I want to figure out why it doesn’t work for you!” Mina snaps back at you.

“Hm...” the green haired woman says looking at the bag Mina put on the desk. “Would you come here a second ma’am?”

“Sure.” you say walking over to her.

The woman puts her hands on your face, closing her eyes for a moment and seeming to concentrate. Her touch feels... different than normal. A lot warmer than you’d expect on your skin. Then again you just came from outside so your skin is a bit colder than room temperature right now.

After a few moments, the woman let’s go of your face and looks at you in the eyes. “You used to be a human man, but you were transformed into a Succubus, am I right?”

“...Yea... I was.” you reply.

“Then that has something to do with it.” The clerk replies as she takes your hands off of your cheeks. “It’s subtle, but your bodily aether flows are different from those of natural born Succubi.”

“Oh great...” you mutter.

“Look it’s not that big of a deal. I’m one myself!” the clerk replies.

“...But you told me the toy worked for you!” Mina speaks up.

“Yes, but that’s because Rebecca took her time with me.” the clerk replies back.

“So what’s the problem then?” you ask.

“It’s not really a problem persay, and more of a natural conditional by-product of your transformation. Your aether pathways are a bit of a mess, some paths are too wide, others too narrow, and others criss-crossed. No offense, but you were transformed by either a Succubus who had no idea what she was doing, was doing a rush job, was very low on aether to cast the ritual, or all of the above.” the Clerk replies. “It seems like nearly a dozen people were trying to transform you.”

“...Rush job and low on Aether... Interesting...” you say recalling your first visit to the Queens.

“Can we just open his aether pathways then?” Mina asks.

“There aren’t any ways to do that.” the clerk replies.

It feels like an arrow is plunged into your back upon hearing that. “Pardon?” you ask dryly.

“Aether pathways are set in someone’s body at birth, or rebirth in our cases. If the job isn’t very good, you could get problems such as this. Your condition, known as Aether Insensitivity Feedback Syndrome, occurs as either improperly performed rebirths or just naturally happens in a very low percentage of Succubi. It... pretty much affects almost nothing else that I know of, so you don’t need to worry about your magic acting up or anything.” the clerk replies.

“Sorry to be the breaker of bad news.” The clerk tells you.

“I-Is there any way to get it adapted?” you ask.

The Clerk shakes her hand. “When you go into the aetheric science of touch, you’ll see that it’s a bit complex. You’ll be able to use artifacts and relics that have a sense of touch fine. But you won’t get any sort of pleasurable feedback from them. If you don’t believe me, attune to weapons that let the user feel then have someone tickle you. You won’t feel anything, and even strong pain’s would be a strong pinch at best. My advice is not to fall into the Miyian or Okarian scams and save your gold, it isn’t something that can be cured.”

To be fair, OP has acted with all the subtlety of a sledgehammer. For example, Op, what level of form control is normally required to switch genders, and what level does Brooklyn need? Or change age
>>
>>32532394
That was addressed in the first thread, succubi can't change gender and laminian can't age much older than girl hitting puberty. Other than that as long as it's female we have assessed that we can pretty much transform into anything humanoid even getting extra arm in the process, though we couldn't use them at the time since creating new limbs doesn't mean we can innately use them.
>>
>>32532394

Brooklyn can appear to be any age he wants to be at this moment.

As for gender, you can't become a male, but so long as it's humanoid if isn't off limits. Appearing as a masculine looking female isn't out of the question.

But what level of shapeshifting magic would work on a basic level? For temporary amounts of time, an average ranking works.

>>32532426

Takes a bit of practice, but you can use extra arms if you really wanted to.
>>
>>32532314
Eh, not really on the latter.

I mean, we get to have a huge bonus to certain things when using the right equipment. (e.g. ignoring pain that would interrupt spellcasting, fighting while heavily wounded).
>>
>>32532513
Oh I know that with practice we can make a use of our new limb, I'm just saying that he shouldn't expect us to take a naga form and be able to slither around as if we always had a tail instead of leg.
>>
>>32532426
Then how is shapeshifting an advantage if you can't improve the ability to levels others can with effort, even if you put in the same effort as someone with no natural talent. If the player are clever and put in the effort they should be able to accomplish things. Not be told its flatly impossible

>>32532872
You're not helping your case. Answer the mans arguments. Not you're own fantasy
>>
>>32532946
The shapeshifting problem has been established from thread one. Stop complaining.
>>
>>32532946
no, that "technobabble" has tons of precedence and centrality to the setting

the fact that brooklyn conveniently has a rare, never before heard of condition is the only problematic thing
>>
>>32532761
In general I agree with you. Handouts are a bad idea, but a GM or QM should work with their players to accomplish goals, not simply slap them down like this
>>
>>32532946
>technobabble
The fact that incubus doesn't exist in the setting and that succubus can't shapeshift into men has been stated and repeated over and over since even before we were transformed if I remember.

>>32532994
>Figure out a clever way to help Ada?
I can't really call this clever it'd be like saying you found a way to cure cancer without having any knowledge in medicine.
>Want a magical penis?
While out of the left field our transformation WAS a rushed and patched up last minute affair, I'd be interested to know if the other girl have the same problem though.
>Want to pay for an ability to turn into a male like every other type of being in reality?
No male succubi etc...
>>
>>32533023
>>32533005
The fact that other types of shapeshifting don't work on succubus was not established. I know I was their. It was mentioned about 12 threads after we started talking about getting Ada a device to help her. Aether pathways has only been used as an excuse why we can 't do things
>>
>>32533166
Point. I think we need to find some sort of compromise
>>
>>32533166
other types of shapeshifting not working on them is irrelevant, the fact that succubi cannot become men and laminions cannot look older than early-teens has been around since forever
>>
>>32533281
We already got a compromise, Okarian weakness doesn't exist anymore, well not how it did before anyways.
>>
I know it may be hard for some of you to belive, but there are in fact some things you just cannot have no matter how hard you work for it. When it is established as being impossible, it's fucking impossible.
>>
>>32533284
>>32533284
Considering some people are interested in a workaround I find it highly relevant.
>>
>>32533366
Because the succubus clans haven't been around for several hundred of years and people more knowledgeable than us didn't try before we did.
>>
>>32533366
considering that succubi and laminians have been around and haunted by these rpoblems for thousands of years in-setting i find it highly dubious if we could just waltz in and change it

“I’ll find someway, somehow.” you say to Mina while turning around, reaching around and pulling her close to you. “Besides, I still need to practice rope with ‘big sis’ tonight...”

Mina giggles as she hears this, her hand now going around your waist and groping your rear. “Oh I’ll be game. But for now *you* need to get over to your study group.”

“Good idea, I got a few questions to ask them. Will you be fine here for the meantime?” you ask Mina.

“You know it.” she giggles along with you. Both of you leaning and rubbing each other’s noses.

“Alright, I’ll be off then. Later Mina!” you say to her waving as you leave the building.

“Later Brooklyn!” Mina says to you waving.

“And that concludes my findings on the life cycles of mosquitoes in the Strickland Swamp.” Terra says putting down her parchment.

“That was...” Lamessa says trying to find the right words.

“A complete and total waste of a half hour.” Madison replies.

“I want my time back.” Nona replies.

“You say that now, but when your mortal pets are looking for food, and you remember which insect eggs are edible, you’ll be thanking me later.” Terra says.

“Terra, it was mind numbling pointless. It was even more pointless with that ritual theory of how to break the speed of light involving clowns and unicycles.” Madison replies back to her.

“All your pets are zombies, like I care what you think.” Terra responds in return to Madison.

The two of them stare at each other for several seconds. The faces expressionless, but the tension of death being thick in the air.

“Moving on, Brooklyn, why don’t you tell us what you read.” Lamessa says sipping her tea.

“For my reading, it was a collection of things rather. I was trying to study up on a specific zombie called the Draugr, wanting to have actual knowledge rather than baseless rumors and facts.” you reply putting your hand on top of a stack of several books. “From what I gather, Draugr’s are a type of zombie from Norden, a Norse type of mythology. They’re often regarded as the more powerful of zombies, originally created as Demigod killers. The methods of how they’re made are apparently banned for good reason, but the one thing that was clear is when they’re being made, some life force of a enlightened creature is needed, as so long as that creature is living the Draugr can regenerate, even from complete disintegration. Spirit destruction spells work, but whenever they are used, the Draugr’s master can contest the spell. The Draugr itself is often an arcane link back to it’s master, and the books I’ve read usually suggest killing the master rather than attempting to kill the Draugr itself.”

“Sometimes easier said than done.” Madison replies. “If the Draugr’s master is extremely powerful, then it’s often easier to permanently kill the Draugr with a contest by throwing literally everything into it.”

“Madison that makes no sense. If the owner is strong enough to that point, why involve a middleman at all?” Nona replies. "Especially one who doesn't care about any collateral on the path to it's target."

“Subtly for one. Good way to kill someone without getting your hands dirty.” Lemessa replies. “The other possibility is that the original master is trapped somehow and he’s using a puppet to help accomplish some sort of goals. Fey do that often.”

“Just capture the thing and call it a day.” Nona replies.

“If it’s incapacitated for too long, the master can send out a kill order.” you reply. “Dimension locks won’t work either, for if it goes too long without a connection to their master, they’ll automatically die due to starvation of some sort.”

“Corpus Starvation.” Madison corrects you. “One thing about Draugr is that unless they’re literally skin a bones, they’ll be partly organic. Poisons and toxins will still work. Just pump enough toxins into it so it falls into a coma.”

“It regenerates, it’ll wake up again.” Nona states.

“Yes, but hopefully you’ll have someone capable of winning the contest at that point.” Madison says. “I would also use that time to see just who the master is. Dealing with the master could be easier than dealing with the Draugr. If you can convince the master to not kill you, then the Draugr will die out.”

"Wards also still seem to work, and they're especially weak to Nordic Rune type wards." you reply. "Draugr's can batter them down, but they seem to have a lot of trouble with Nordic runes."

"Yea, Voodoo zombies often cannot do anything to voodoo wards." Madison adds.

“Soundproofing... Soundproofing...” you say going over the wind element section in the library. Just by looking at the sheer volume of books, you have a whole new respect for the librarians and the work they do.

“Excuse me, are you Brooklyn Browning.” A woman next to you says. Glancing up at her, you can see she has short orange hair and a belt full of alchemical reagents.

“Very well.” you say closing the reference book. “Just let me go and leave this book with a Librarian.”

“Already taken care of.” The witch says as some Succubus comes out behind you, taking the reference book for you.

You’re wisked away by the witch down flight after flight of stairs, all the way to the bottom floor where the Witch’s laboratory is located to. As you step inside of the door that says “WITCH’S LAB. CAUTION: VOLATILE CHEMICALS.” Stepping beyond the door has your senses assault by all sorts of smells that cause your nose and eyes to burn somewhat. More than a few times you needed to wipe your eyes with your sleeve while travelling through this area.

“Trickster Teana is in here waiting for you.” The witch says to standing in front of a door.

“Trickster?” you ask.

“Our highest rank.” The witch replies.

...Why would the highest ranking witch want to talk to you?

“...Very well. Thank you for the escort.” you say to the witch before heading into Teana’s room.

Looking around, you can see what appears to be a room actually containing a variety of frankenmachines. Old World tech mixed with current era devices seem to be around the room. Beams of light seem to continuously run over what appears to be a tentacle of some sort while precisely calibrated instruments drip fluid into a maze of beakers onto a desk nearby.

“Sorry for the mess, but I often don’t invite visitors in here.” a woman on the other end of the room says. She’s a bit on the small side, but she has a orange ponytail going down the back of her head while dressed in what appears to be an apron stained with... who knows what. Freckles remain on her face along with a pair of deep green eyes. “Although I am glad that you could make it Lady Browning. "I'm used to it don't worry, as long as this isn't blackmail it can't be worse than usual." you reply.

“Far worse than that. It concerns the Fate of our entire clan.” Teana replies.

“...And you’re not bringing this up with the Subota’s?” you ask.

“I’m not sure if they’d use this to their advantage. First off, I know about the meeting that is going to be taking place between the clan heads.” Teana states.

You’re about to open your mouth when Teana raises her hand. You did promise to hear the entire story, but someone like here knowing about the meeting which was supposed to only involve the heads worries you.

“We have certain sources inside of the Miyian university that has leaked this information to us. Dean Grendel Beck is a man who cannot be trusted. He knows that it was an Okarian who set up the meeting originally, and he wants to have no plan or involvement with it. In fact, we have strong reason to believe that Grendal not only wants the Okarians dead, but is building a weapon to do so.”

“Woah woah what?” you ask, blinking in disbelief a few times.

“We Witches maintain secret relationships with the Witches. Some Miyians actually are witches in disguise. Miyians who are friendly with us at the university have been tracking the supply line for a great deal of time now. We have no direct evidence other than a paper trail of parts.” Teana replies. “Naturally, we don’t want this to happen. So we’re trying to hatch a plan to assassinate Grendel Beck and put someone more... talented at the head of the university. Now you may ask questions.”

"I'm assuming that since I was the one contacted you want to involve me in such a plan and while I won't refuse you outright or compromise you I'd like more information before taking my decision." you reply.

“Of course. We could get you the paper trail. The issue is with the supplies is that Miyians could use them to make nearly anything, but the vast majority said it could easily be a weapon. Grendel Beck is known to hate Okarians, the project is considered top secret, and lastly is sucking up vast quantities of aetheric power from the surrounding laylines or at least distorting them.” Teana replies

“Why don’t you ask the Pride Demons to solve this? They’re cracking down on Succubi for the moment, so this even gives them an excuse.” you reply.

“That is one of our plans. We’d just need to convince the Pride Demons that the normal distortion that surrounds the university is not normal. However this comes with the problem that Dio will likely shut down the university, and we fear that Miyian and Okarian tensions would grow even worse.” Teana replies.

“Who will you be putting in charge?” you ask.

“A Miyian who doesn’t believe in the senseless gang wars, but is a strong patriot of her own clan. We have several candidates already lined up, but unfortunately none of them are in the upper circles. It may take some effort to put them in charge.” Teana replies.

“Who will do the killing?” you ask.

“That will be decided when we gather enough evidence. We’re pretty sure he’s doing something, but we need more time.” Teana replies. “At the very least, we think he’s making a brand new power source down there. It saddens me to think Beck is making a brand new power source with all this secrecy only to start up a war.”

There are some things NPC's don't know. A clerk at a sexual goods store is probably is probably the last person I'd ask about spiritual health problems, unless they were a doctor.

Was the tone harsh? Probably was. The clerk probably heard of this condition before, being in a city with a very high population of Succubi, and just assumed those people were SOL.

I mean you could ask Wilhelmina, whose specialty is literally about spirits as a start.

Checking to see if the other girls have this problem was also another valid point brought up as well.

I'd need to think what I'd hard ban in this quest, but the only thing I'm 1000% sure is on that list is time travel. Unless a story is made for it, they often leave a sour taste in my mouth and keeping track of timeline events makes me punch holes in the wall.

>>32538087
Because we can't do something because [Technobabble]
The Laminians can't shapeshift into large people because [same technobabble]
Ergo, shifting to a different form should fix things because we are turning into a standard version of the other Caste, one without the [technobbable] issue.
>>
>>32538071
>>32538087
That should be step #1 in this plan, look into that and figure out how to make such a potion work.

Once (and I say once, not if, because fuck me we're going to make this workaround work) we have this potion developed it would be a neat way of getting the D back, while having the bonus from not having Aetheric feedback from getting hit or something.

>>32538090
Well, he's clearly straw manning, so I assume most of us just filtered him out or poked occasionally for our own amusement while waiting for Sand to pop back.

I don't think you used 'infallible' correctly, because it does not make sense in that usage and changes the content of that post drastically

No, the potion transform in what you WOULD be if you were another clan, not a standard cookie cutter version of that clan

I think you are missing a 'not' in the middle of "are infallible"

I fully understood it was sarcasm though I guess I'm overestimating 4chan

I figured that "reviving someone who has been dead longer than 1 hour" is also on the list due to backstory. Which is cool with me.

Well, we have a plan and know where to start. Unfortunately I've got to run some errands now, so fellow anons, could you help work towards this in my stead and be civil with each other please?
>>
>>32538194

Mispell yes. NPC's don't know everything.

I will admit that probably my courses in philosophy had somewhat of a taint in this, as many characters are machivallian or Hobbsian to the extremes.

>>32538227

Good catch. I did the revival thing as part of no take backs. Choices you make can't be undone that easily when it comes to lost lives.

>>32537129

Definitely, I'm so sorry I didn't get Brooklyn to ask this.
>>

>Good catch. I did the revival thing as part of no take backs. Choices you make can't be undone that easily when it comes to lost lives.
Fair, I tend to add in easy revival even in setting that don't have them personally. Of course, that may be because I hate Exalted style paranoia combat.

Actually, in this case the [Technobable] issue would probably be retained. We're theoretically doing a cast conversion. Its a restructuring of our an aetheric system, sure, but really it boils down to just moving e bits of our existing system around, not magically replacing it with fully functional parts.

Look, you want a quick but expensive fix? Find a grandmaster Life Controller, get them to grow a novel, dedicated nerve cluster somewhere deep inside Brooklyn and tie it into our brain as a ghost appendage (phallus), and then get a custom strap-on built by someone with serious skill that interfaces directly with that nerve cluster. It'd be expensive as hell and rather time consuming, but it completely bypasses the aetheric problem by relying purely on physical impulses.

Now, would we have to also learn how to retain that nerve cluster I'm proposing when shape shifting? Yep. Wouldn't be easy since it isn't on the template, but it should be doable. I'm sure others have come up with similarly long term, amusing solutions. Anyone else want to share?

Maybe. Of course, trying to modify this same [Technobable] is supposed to kill/cripple laminians yet it flew off the shelves and does so every week. Since all the Laminians aren't dead, and her store hasn't been burned by elder laminians for openly selling them poision it presumably doesn't cause issues.

So the rules aren't particularly consistent, which makes guessing the effects a crapshoot. But more importantly, it shows that the shopkeeper is wrong that the [technobabble] can't be changed.
>>
>>32538298
>Definitely, I'm so sorry I didn't get Brooklyn to ask this.
Well, we haven't left yet
>>
>>32538475
...hmmm. Yeah, thing is I doubt there aren't side effects for habitual cast shifting. But let's table that for now. Also, I think you meant to say that the [Technobabble] can be changed, which is probably true. You'd just need an insane level of power and skill to pull it off.

As for the Laminians, solutions simple, get the fuck out of the stealth cast. Seriously, easing it explained that there level of phasing specialization required a hard cap on their size? Lolidom in this case is a safety feature, not a bug. Whatever, got to get back to studying. Take it easy and best of luck on your quest to cockify Brooklyn. Just try figuring out how the system actually works, it's not nearly as inconsistent as you're making it out to be.
>>
>>32538748
>Just try figuring out how the system actually works, it's not nearly as inconsistent as you're making it out to be.
I don't think its a system at all. I think that OP decided what results he wanted, then made up a theoretical justification for what he already decided, like 90% of people who make magic systems. I also think he's making snap judgements on what is and is not feasible, but overused an explanation such that it is starting to contradict itself.

“Oh yes, and I want to try and meet with these potential replacements as well.” you reply.

“Very well. We just need to narrow down the list. If you do figure out who they are, please don’t tell them that they’re selected replacements.” Teana replies.

“Why’s that?” you ask.

“Plausible deniability.” Teana replies.

(Short, but to the point at least)

Man what the heck is with this sudden strong want to shapeshift male or get a dick?

It seems to me that that would defeat a major portion of Brooklyns character development so far.
As well as not fitting with an integral theme of the story overall (i.e. Coming to terms with who you are or what you have become.)
>>
>>32539135
Will we be picking up in the morning?

>>32539184
We've very deliberately kept brooklyn's self identity as male. Also, its not sudden at all.
>>
>>32539184
>As well as not fitting with an integral theme of the story overall (i.e. Coming to terms with who you are or what you have become.)
Yeah, my theme was "staying true to yourself despite adversity"
Its why Brooklyn still is pro human in philosophy among other things.
>>
>>32539184
>Man what the heck is with this sudden strong want to shapeshift male or get a dick?
Well, we've mentioned it occasionally, its just that suddenly we get massively slapped down by an uneducated NPC, then repeatedly insulted by people who disagree with us, so We're kinda angry and in no mood to compromise.
>>
>>32539261
Yeah, he's growing in power and confidence, but otherwise he's still the same guy. Still friends with his old D&D buddies, still thinks of himself as male and human, and his mortality hasn't fundamentally changed. He just has the power to act on it now, and heaven and hell help those who wish to trample on those he considers his own. There's a human with the power of a demon lord now, and he's going to set things right dammit.
>>
>>32539235
> very deliberately kept brooklyn's self identity as male.
Yet always wear dresses and avoid telling people we were originally male, if we can help it; never contradicting someone when they call us by female pronouns?

Brooklyn may still have a lot of the self identity of a male, but he's subtly shifting to female.
It's very, very slow, but it's there.
>>
>>32539479
>Brooklyn may still have a lot of the self identity of a male, but he's subtly shifting to female.
>It's very, very slow, but it's there.
Its imagined on your part. See how he wants his dick back? He doesn't correct people because he needs to fit in.
>>
>>32539235

Na. Tired now and thread is nearly capped.

I'll achieve the thread once I'm done this let's play video
>>
>>32539479
>It's very, very slow, but it's there.
Nah, its not happening. And if it is we'll just reverse it. My long term goal is to make Brooklyn the first incubus.
>>
>>32539516
>See how he wants his dick back?
I see it more as lamenting not getting to experience something from his old life while he still could.
>>
>>32539597
Yeah, I'm going to find a way to make us a dude again. Maybe start wearing male clothing.
>>
>>32539547
Any idea when you'll run again?
>>
>>32539618
>Yeah, I'm going to find a way to make us a dude again.

If that's what you want try, I can't stop you from making those suggestions.

We shall see with time what the majority decides.
>>
>>32539597
It appears we've interpreted every action Brooklyn take differently.
>>
>>32539629

sunday next week

Assuming something like my house doesn't blow up
>>
Mayhaps we ask the queens about the fucked up aether network and see what they say
>>
Seems few anons have very different end goal for Brooklyn.
Guess it willl end in rage either way.
>>
>>32540469
All I want is that drauger to stay dead. Also a thongs that slightly sticks out.
>>
>>32539597
I see that being a large part of it

>>32539618
I don't mind Brook as a succubutt, but some of his masculinity has to be reclaimed, and if its such that he can't shapeshift into a dude or certain parts of a dude, then a magical feeldoe is good enough
>>
>>32540043
That and asking Wilhelmina are our two current starting steps in that plan, get the info we need, then we can go about trying to make that Brooklyn potion, because if Laminians can use that potion to get around their castes flaws, then something designed to target and work around Brooklyn's Aether structure flaws should work on the exact same science
>>
>>32541329
Shadow dick.
>>
>>32541374
Can't feel it is the problem, gotta make that anti Aether Insensitivity Feedback Syndrome potion, then we can use Mina's gift AND shadow D's
>>
>>32541402
>>32541366
As long as we can be slightly exhibitionist* then I am fine with that.

* wearing lewd clothing but not super slutty (that idea for jeans with a thong sticking out and some slight cleavage seems good), and enjoying others wanting us.

We are s succulentbutt we should act like it.
>>
>>32541463
I'm fine with that, it matches my interpretation of Brook pretty well, on the outside accepting of his new body and circumstances, but in private with those he cares about, still Identifies as male and acts like one.

We need to wear that succubutt armor under our clothes more often, maybe giving slight glimpses of it under a sweater or jacket or thin shirt.
>>
>>32541554
So long as she is pretty and not butch I am ok with this.
>>
>>32542199
that fits Brook's character pretty well, even as a man or when identifying as a man, he's not exactly 'manly'
>>
>>32541554
>>32542199
I'm with this anons.
So far, the quest has been going in this direction, more or less. So I haven't been giving much input.
