The Tiger 2 is also taking the long way around.

It's going to be a long range duel as our heavies slowly close the distance so I don't see how an ability that gets them to dive into their ranks will be that useful.

We'll get better usage out of that with us and the lights.

Whats more, yes, we're assaulting the plateau. Which you will notice is very open ground with possible sniping positions for Pravda tanks very close by from their starting ground.

Using lockdown and locking our Elite tank in a middle of a wide open area is asking for us to be shot and killed. Speed and manuvuering will be our defence in the assault.

As it is, Gertrude's squad isn't so stellar for taking control of the plateau if Katyusha tries to force her way there with her own T-34s.

You check over the match rosters and the maps again. Pravda has foregone the medium tank approach and gone with a heap of assault guns, mostly the SU variety of the 152 and the 76mm neighborhood. That probably means they’re playing the defensive game, as the 152s are the only things capable of actually putting the King Tiger down reliably at range with the sheer weight of HE.

“Alright, report, anybody see anything?”

“Nothing yet!” says Kate. “This snow is making it a bit difficult on the eyes.”

You unbutton and take a look out with your binoculars. Already on the crest of the hill and hulling themselves down into a snowdrift are the SU-76s and a T-34. They depress their guns and start firing on you. Snow flies everywhere, blinding you.

“Agh!” you hold up your arm. “Lisa! Evasive action! Everyone spread out!”

The formation loosens up a bit as the guns suppress you.

“This is Kate! We’ve run into Ivan!” You look down to see Kate’s wing get bombarded by 152mm Howitzers. You bring up your binoculars again. Over ten tanks down there. All five SU-152s behind three T-34/85s, an IS-2, and a KV-2.
