Well, if we follow the whole thing about the function of every ranger, then their...ehh... "guardian spirit" should be a dictator specialized in that I guess, so, for example, for the red we need a military-savvy dictator (stalin? maybe, you know, with red and all) and so on. So i guess kim-jong il/un would be the yellow propaganda ranger. Hitler would be blue (Because GERMAN SCIENCE IS THE BEST IN ZA WARUDO), the administration would be mussolini, because he makes the trains run on time, and the brown one... well, I'm not sure about that one.

Okay, so, let's summarize:

I've reworked the team to make room for new ideas, what do you think?

Control Red (or over-red)"Spirit of defense" : Gets his powers from Stalin. He wears a cape and uses it to turn it into the IRON CURTAIN , his defensive weapon of choice.

As offensive weapons, he wields the hammer and sickle of the proletariat.

(He has 2 weapons because Red is always overpowered)

Control Yellow "spirit of propaganda": Gets his powers from kim jong il. Wields the Bundt Cake of famine which causes... famine...in his enemies.

Control Gray "spirit of order": Gets his powers from the ayatollah, attacks using a whip to subdue dissenters.

Control Brown "spirit of devotion": Gets its powers from adolf hitler, can use his sonic speeches from his microphone to convince the weak-minded to work for him.

Control Blue "spirit of vigilance" : Napoleon (?)
The oldest of the team, attacks with an old fashioned saber.

Combining the helmets with the hats might look sorta silly however, and detracts from the helmeted motif every Sentai ranger has had. I like the idea of the military dress uniform, without the hat, but the faceplate reflecting something of the dictator or regime they represent.

Well, I guess that's true. Still, the focus is different and I think having two people in a team with similar powers works as long as they have contrasting personalities.

Also, the science! guy could be the atomic ranger that one anon kept requesting.

Atomic Ranger "The spirit of balance/ Spirit of science": Wears a metallic green glowing armor with a nuclear core. His special attacks are two guns: Little boy, which shoots mini nukes with little destructive power, and Fat Man, a old-school ranger style super cannon used for finishers. Is mysterious and asocial, you know, typical sixth ranger stuff.

Okay /tg/ i've gotta go, this was fun and I love the way you share ideas, still, I wish this didn't die but I can't be sure, so this is my parting gift.

Nah that's a bad idea. Every sentai team has the same costume design, but in different colors. The helmets are the only thing that really changes.
