I was already bad at writing fight scenes, this only makes it harder.

Time to mix things up a little. Dodging Gamagoori's whips, you assess the situation. Sanageyama, Inumuta, and Gamagoori are actively taking part in the fight. Nonon and Mako, however, still seem to be merely spectating.

You pull back from the three guys, and charge at Mako.

"No slacking!", you say.

She jumps away from your strike, and prepares to fight. Noticing your change in focus, the other three stand near Mako. However, you switch targets once again, this time to Nonon.

Nonon does not react fast enough to dodge. Instead, she attempts to charge up the anti-Life Fiber sound wave.

However, that won't help her. "Too slow!"

The other Three-Stars are rather close to each other. Taking advantage of that, you grab Nonon by a leg with your free hand, and toss her at them. They are caught completely off-guard, and fall over.

Nonon gets up. "Oww... I can't believe you did that!"

"You need to start working together! I didn't come here for bowling!" You laugh.

"Then, we should just attack you all at once!", Sanageyama says.

Following his lead, the other four jump at you, preparing to attack. You're starting to wonder how did they manage to keep Harime at bay, with tactics like these.

Gamagoori launches his whips at you. Sanageyama charges in with his shinai raised. Nonon charges up her sound attack again. Mako readies her fists. Inumuta is still skulking around, invisible, able to attack at any moment.

"That's more like it.", you say.

"Senketsu Dragon Skin!" This will protect you from Gamagoori's whips, and keep Sanageyama at bay.

Not Mako, however. She closes in on you. You make sure to stay close to Sanageyama, blocking his strikes with the blades on your free hand.

"ORA!" You block Mako's first punch with the scissor. Naturally, a flurry of them will follow.

However, you will not be the one to take them. Just as she's about to continue, you move aside, placing Mako right in front of Sanageyama.

"Mankanshoku, wait-"

"ORAORAORAORAORA!"

Mako is fast and strong, but once she starts attacking, she pays no mind to her surroundings. Sanageyama is now learning that first hand. Unprepared to block, he is sent flying into a wall by Mako's last attack.

"Oh no! Sanageyama-senpai, I'm sorry!", she calls out, but quickly focuses on you again.

That's one down. Now, there's Mako herself to deal with.

Gamagoori will help you with that. He's been constantly launching whips at you, which are deflected by your Dragon Skin. As he launches another one, you intercept it with your hand, and hold on to it.

Mako attacks again. This time, you evade her first punch, and wrap her with the whip.

"Sorry about that, Mako."

Your powerful kick sends her flying. She circles around Gamagoori, wrapping him in his own whip. Finally, they collide, and both fall to the floor.

That leaves two.

You can't see Inumuta, but you can see Nonon. She's done charging her sound wave, and is moving in to deliver it to you. You can use that you your advantage, as well.

You don't need Dragon Skin anymore. The scales retract back into Senketsu. You run towards Nonon. Just as she's about to fire her attack, you slide underneath her, and grab her from behind.

"N-nani sore?!"

She starts to struggle, but it's already too late. The speakers on her back start emitting the sound wave in front of her, just what you were waiting for.

Holding Nonon up, you search for Inumuta by using the sound wave. Eventually, it reaches him, disrupting his optical camouflage.

You punch Nonon's jetpack lightly, causing it to increase thrust. She is sent flying towards Inumuta, who is too slow to dodge. They collide, and join the other three on the floor.

"It needs some work, that combination attack of yours.", you say.

The Devas and Mako slowly get up, and deactivate their uniforms. They all look down.

"Hey, cheer up! All you need to do is improve your teamwork! Had you hit me with all those attacks, I'd be down and out!"

"Yeah!" Mako is quick to recover. "We just need to train more!"

"Yeah...", Nonon starts.

"But, we didn't hit you.", Inumuta adds.

"You turned our strengths against us, and we walked right into it.", Sanageyama continues.

"If not even five of us can stand up against you, are we really worthy of our uniforms?", Gamagoori asks.

The most accurate answer is that it's not that all five of them couldn't stand up to us, but rather that each of them on their own couldn't stand up to us, but that would probably still be a little disheartening.

They need to work on their sync a little better. They work good as a team in the broad sense, but don't mesh very well in combat. Everyone is still kind of doing their own thing, they just happen to be doing it together.

The big screen starts displaying surveillance camera footage. The academy looks exactly as you left it: in disrepair. The sight makes you feel somewhat sad.

You leave the base and head for Honnouji Academy. The chopper is indeed quite fast, and you soon arrive at Tokyo Bay.

"We need to lay low from now on.", the mohawk guy says. "Even if Honnouji is abandoned, we're very close to REVOCS. I'm going to touch down in the slums, just in case."

He does so. The four of you leave the helicopter, and take a look around.

"I can't sense anyone nearby. It's like a ghost town.", Sanageyama says.

Inumuta transforms into his regalia, and commences data gathering.

Making your way up in a spiral, you take a look around all the residential quarters, from slums to the Two-Star residential area. It's like all the people suddenly vanished, and that's probably what more or less happened.

"Still, it's really odd. Why would Ragyou push us out of the academy, if she had no intent of using it?", Inumuta wonders.

"Maybe she just didn't want us to use it.", you say.

You arrive at the school gates. Still not a single soul in sight. The only major change is that the academy's building is back to normal, it's not the Ragyou Stadium anymore. Apart from the visible damage, the atmosphere in the courtyard is almost serene.

"Still nothing, Sanageyama, Inumuta?", you ask.

"Nothing at all."

You can't tell if you should consider this suspicious, or simply accept it as a fact, but it appears there really isn't anybody here. You approach the main building. It appears that the school still has power, as the lights work.
