You are Mason Page, 18, New York. Your dad works as a Mechanic, and makes enough for the two of you to get by. When you were just a kid, your Mom died when she slipped in the shower. It wasn't too heartbreaking, you got on with your life. The two of you live in a small apartment only a few blocks from where he works. Currently, you attend Brooklyn Tech. High School, straight A's, but no plans for once you graduate. Like everyone else.

Your lineage, however, is what makes you unique. Your Great Grandfather was an infamous thief, killer, and supervillain, Jones Page, known as The Ink. This was before 'villains' wore tights and were on television. Before supervillains were commercial and superficial. He used his powers to control media and information across the west, robbing banks blind, killing any who got in his way. And you inherited the same powers. You can control ink, and pretty damn well. Not enough to rob a bank, but enough to carry all your schoolbooks, and pierce your bedroom wall with pens.

Laying on your bed, you twirl your math textbook over you, the television faintly murmuring. Your cellphone starts to ring, so set the book down, and check the ID. It's Jacob, your friend for the past six years. You hang out almost every weekend, because you don't have any other friends.

Sighing, you decide to answer it, and put the phone up to your ear. “What do you want, Jake?” You murmer, sitting up on your bed.

“Mason! Guess what? Are you watching the news?”
“No,” you groan.
“Dude! There's a fight, between Captain Genesis and Doomsday. Its happening, like, ten blocks down from you! I'm almost there, you should totally meet me!!”
“I don't know man, it's kind of lame.”
“Maybe if you saw it in person, you would change your mind?”
“Well...”

>Go see the fight

"Alright, Jake. I'll go see the fight," You sigh, standing up.
"Awesome! I'll see you there in twenty!" he exclaims, ending the call.

After strapping on some shoes, and grabbing your phone and wallet, you start to head out the door. Just before you step out, a voice pipes up from behind you.

"Hey, son, where're you going?" Your dad walks up to you, and you turn to face him.
"I'm just going to meet Jake downtown." You say, trying to avoid eye-contact.
"Oh. alright, I guess. Be back before sundown," he says, walking back towards the couch, slumping down in front of the TV. You shrug, and close the door behind you.

After walking for a bit, you can finally see the police up ahead, creating a barricade. There is a small crowd of people around him, about twenty or so, and you can see Jake looking around for you.

"Hey, Jake. I'm over here!" You shout. He looks up at you, eyes going wide with excitement, and runs up to you.

"Man oh Man you're just in time. They're out in the middle of the street, you can see it from here!" You look around, and notice that the view has been blocked by numerous news vans and cameramen, with the occasional police officer scouting the area.

"I don't know, Jake. It looks kind of hard to see. Let alone hear."
"Oh, I get it. Umm..." He pauses, putting a finger to his bottom lip. "Oh! We can try to get to the roof of the apartment complex over here! We might get a better view!" He exclaims, pointing to the complex just beside the barricade.

You think for a moment about your options.

>Go to the Roof

"Let's head up to the roof. We'll need an elevated position to see these two idiots punch each other." You grin. Jake frowns slightly, and shrugs.
"Alright, Mason. Let's head up."

The two of you walk over and head through the front doors. Rushing up the stairs, you notice Jake falling a bit behind. He is a little un-athletic, but you'd never thought he had trouble with stairs.

Eventually, you make your way to the top of the three flights, and found the door to the roof. Swinging it open, you walk over to the edge, while Jake catches his breath over by the door. Surprisingly, you are the only two up there.

Peering down, you see the two in the middle of the street. Captain Genesis, in his White and Green spandex suit, is giving a monologue about how "Justice will always prevail!" and "Evil will never win in the face of Truth!"

You gag a little, but hold yourself steady. Doomsday, in his stable black spandex and white labcoat, goggles way too tight around his face, laughs at the Captain. "This is what I think of your Justice and Truth, Genesis!" He shouts, giving a mad cackle, taking a small device outside of his pocket, before hitting it's button. A robotic suit forms around him, disabling it's cloaking, and the two rush at each other. They exchange blow after blow, until Captain Genesis is thrown from the battle upwards, and towards... You.

Captain Genesis, in a ragdolled heap, plummets directly towards you. A surge of energy comes towards you, and in a moment of clarity, you grab onto your friends arm, and rush away from the impact. You throw the both of you down into the fire escape, as the human missile smashes into the roof, collapsing a large amount of stone down to the surface below. Dust settles over yourself and Jake, who seems to be frozen with fear. You can hear the muttering and gasps of the crowds.

You pull your head just above the rails to see the Captain rising out of the small crater of rubble, brushing stones off of himself. To your surprise, he raises his wrist up to his lips, and whispers into it, just loud enough for you to hear. "Hey, be careful where you throw me, there are two kids up here I almost hit." He lowers it, and leaps back down into the streets, crowds cheering.

You can't believe what... who are you kidding. Of course you believe it. Fucking sellouts, all of them. You look over to Jake, who is still in shock, unmoving. He's never like this. You think about what to do next.

"Jake. Jake!" You shout at him, grabbing his shoulders. He still isn't responding, quivering a little maybe, but that's it. "Damn it, Jake, Snap out of it!" You shake him back and forth lightly, but still to no avail. You sigh, and sit back down beside him. 'I can't just leave him here,' you think to yourself. Turning back to Jake, you pull his head towards you, and smack him as hard as you can across the face.
"Ow! That really, really hurt!" He says, reeling back, resting a hand on his cheek. "You didn't need to do that so hard, Mason." He says quietly, you glaring at him.

"Whatever," you grumble, looking back over the railing. The two are still going at it, smashing into each other, crowds cheering. "Did you see what Captain Genesis was doing, Jake?" You say, looking back at him. "He was talking with Doomsday over a Communicator. The whole thing is Choreographed."

"Yeah, I heard," he says, shaking his head, looking down at his feet. "Anyways, we should probably head somewhere else. This place is pretty dangerous, I guess."

"I guess so," you say, and start climbing down the fire escape, Jake right behind you. You reach down to the alleyway, and brush yourselves off, walking back into the crowd, just in time to see the Captain throwing Doomsday into the back of an armored police van. The two of you ignore it, and start walking down the street.

"Where do you want to go, Mason? We could head back to your place, or we could go the Movies, or whatever."

"Yeah, let's go back to my place, I guess." Jake turns to you with his big goofy grin, and you try to muster a smile back, but fail. He shrugs, and the two of you walk back down to your apartment complex. Jake just keeps talking and talking non-stop, you stopped listening entirely when he started, but he doesn't mind. You considered stopping to listen one day, but the idea never really appeals to you. It doesn't take too long before you reach the the place and head inside.

The moment the door opens, your dad leaps from the couch. “Hey, son! You're back! Oh, and Jake too! Hey, Jake. Do you guys want some Soda or something?”
“I'm good, Mr. Page, but thanks.” Jake says back to him, walking down the hall towards your room.
“Alright, that's cool, that's cool.” He smiles, mantaining eye contact with you as you close the door. You smile back at him, before heading to your room, too.

You find Jake laying on your bed, playing with your Rubix Cube. “So, what should we do now?”

"Real? Whatever. A real villain doesn't wear spandex and challenge people to honorable combat." You raise your voice slightly, before calming down.

"I was talking more about Captain Genesis. He seemed so genuine, and nice. Like he really cared about Justice. Like he was a good person. He was just out to get money, I guess."

"Most people are, Jake. Most people are selfish. They don't know what's best for them." You say, twisting on a pencil in your tight grasp.

"My Great Grandfather had powers. He was a villain, killed and stole and controlled most of the country. I feel like all these self-proclaimed villains are mocking his name, mocking my heritage." Jake raises an eyebrow in confusion, and meets your gaze.

"Mason, what are you talking about? Great Grandfather was a supervillain? That's just ridiculous." You look over to your desk, your schoolbooks, and decide maybe it wasn't worth telling him.

"Nevermind. Just go home, Jake." He shrugs, and starts walking to the door. "Whatever you say. I'll see you at school tomorrow."

The door closes, and you find yourself alone in your room. You have school in the morning, and its getting a little late. You hear your dad turn off the television and go back into his room. Slumping back into your chair, you think about what you want to do.

His tongue wrapping around yours in a sensual embrace, him feeling your hardened shaft poking just outside of your underwear. He kisses down your neck slowly yet surely making his way down your erect member.

Jake runs his tongue up and down and slowly and deliberately teases your balls. You almost explode but he stops suddenly and looks up at you and teases "No not yet." He puts his whole mouth over your throbbing penis and takes it deeply down his throat, while massaging your tender butthole with his index finger. After a while you feel your member twitch, you can't take it. Jake hugs your lower half, taking it all in, savoring every drop of your nectar.

You wake up with a wet, sticky sensation all over your pants.

You focus all of your energy on your schoolbook, Basic Calculus. You raise it up into the air, the pages flipping through the air. You focus all your energy on a single center page. You raise your hand against the page, and, with intense concentration, begin moving the letters and numbers around the page.

With another burst of concentration, you pull the ink out of the pages, each character still intact, and line them up before your eyes. This is the height of your powers, you didn't even know you could do that. You smile, internally congratulating yourself, and lose concentration, the book falling to the floor, the ink puddling beneath it's pages.

With a deep breath, you decide that's enough for tonight. Maybe again tomorrow...

The next morning is the usual blur, shower, clothes, food, and the like. You never cleaned the spilled ink on your bedroom floor, but you suppose you can get that later in the day. You walk to school, pass by the usual faces, and finally enter the halls of the prison known as the public education system. You go through classes not even paying attention, your mind centered on one goal- proving the greatness that runs through your veins.

As you continue down the halls of the school, on your way to the cafeteria, a hand presses your should up against the cold metal lockers. Looking down at you is Trent. He's actually a really nice guy, to everyone but you.

"Page, Page, Page. What the hell, man." He says, pressing your shoulder deep into the lockers handle.

"What do you want, Trent? I'm busy," you grumble, shifting to get out of this uncomfortable position.

"I heard a rumor that you were talking shit about Captain Genesis? Is that right?"
"I have no idea what you're talking about, Trent."
"Yeah yeah, whatever. If I hear you talking crap about him ever again? I'm coming after you. Are we clear?" He pushes you even harder against the locker.
"Whatever you say," You mumble. He lets you go, and starts walking down the hall. 'What the hell is his problem?' You think to yourself.

At this point, you notice that you and Trent are the only ones in this hallway, it's completely empty.

Tiebreaker needed
>>
>>32183779
>[X] Leave him be
Let's not pick a fight and show powers that we should keep concealed before we become certain in them because I presume that is the only way we'll win this fight.

>>32183821
That might be the one I'm thinking of, funny thing was how he sperged about the character being gay yet I've never seen a person shitpost that much because of a lesbian MC. Best part, MC wasn't even gay, it was the guy he possessed in the one I'm thinking of.
>>
>>32183897
>Confront then
>>
I'm fine with a gay MC but focusing on sexuality like 3 posts into a quest is weird. just let it develop geez
>>
>>32183899
>yet I've never seen a person shitpost that much because of a lesbian MC

/tg/ is starting to get butthurt whenever people go for the lesbians option though. There was tons of shitposting in Gobble's quest about the MC not going for Vance.
>>
>>32183846

>[X] Leave him be
>>
>>32183899
Yup, even talking about the possibility sent that anon flying into a hardcore gay panic. We've had several dyke MCs already, a gay male would be welcome change of pace.
>>
>>32183940
Those were just trolls trolling, not serious gay readers.
>>
>>32183942
I don't follow his quest so that's the reason I didn't see that, but that's more due to a belief that lesbians are overplayed I'd think. Hell, people constantly bitch about how they feel gay playing a straight woman, which I still don't see how that makes sense.
>>32183978
I'd welcome a change in pace as well.
>>

> Other, Confront Him

"You know what, Trent? I've had enough of this shit." He turns around, a scowl on his face. "For the last four years, I've put up with your shit. Why are you such a dick to me? What did I ever do to you to be excluded, the only one you treat this way? What is wrong with you?"

His entire body seems to cringe as you shout this, and he slowly stomps over to you, until he is right next to you.

"You want to know why I treat you differently? Because I actually know who you are. You are related to the Ink, the Black Scourge, the man who single handedly ruined two entire cities economies. You, you're entire family, is shit. And if I so much as suspect that you are anything like your ancestors, you're body will never be found."

After a few moments of eye contact, he turns away, and storms off. You are paralyzed for just a moment, but shake it off quickly after that.

>cont.

>Before the next part, any questions about anything relevant?
>>
>>32184059
Does Trent have a nice ass?
>>
>>32183942
That's because every goddamn quest with a female MC, the MC is a lesbian. it's boring, and it makes having s female PC pointless when you're just playing a dude with boobs.
>>
>>32183978
>>32184049
I don't think lesbians MCs are that overplayed either, since most of those quests seem to get abandoned really easily.
>>
>>32184059
How do you feel about all the homoshit going on?
>>
>>32184059
Is Mason gay? Because I have a feeling that the shit posting from earlier might continue unless we get some word from you.
>>
>>32184059
How does someone with Ink powers become a super criminal? Not villian because that shits for scrubs.
Am I the only one who wants to do Vigilante shit?
>>
>>32184131
I mostly am just annoyed at the trolling, any sexual expectations otherwise I don't really care about.

>>32184134
He could be. It seems like, despite the shitposts, there is some positive favor to it. At this point, it's not relevant. I don't want to focus on romance or anything like that. At least not now, anyway.
>>
>>32184059
Well, it's clearly time to go to the principal.
>>

Welp, at least he didn't confess his passion for us like I first thought. Do we know about his granddad, was he a hero?

>>
>>32184128
Allusions to sexuality tend to lead to this kind of shit, which pushes away regular players.

Some heterosexual players also dislike it.
>>
>>32184184
Dude, not every gay option is shitposting. Some people just have different tastes you know?
>>
>>32184167

Money has Ink in it. Mass Bank Robberies, Forgeries, etc.
Also, this was before computes, almost everything that was valuable, bank notes, information, files of any kind, were stored in ink form.

>>32184188
Sorry about the grammatical error. Didn't give a lot of time to go over them.

Also, you don't know, but you might be able to look into it at a point.
>>
>>32184215
The quest is ded either way and you know it
>>
>>32184059
>>Before the next part, any questions about anything relevant?
Is the force of an objects movement related to the amount of ink in it? Do we have any heirlooms from dear old grandpappy.
>>
>>32184117
That's stupid. Its essentially what's wrong with the way the QM and /tg/ plays the character, not the fact that she's a lesbian.

Kat is pretty girly despite dating a girl, so Gobble does it well, however being a quest MC tends to lend it self to doing masculine things in general, so its not really "being a dude with boobs" when you play as a lesbian.

Its not particularly common for a quest with a lesbian mc to last all too long either. So there's that.

>>32184200
Which is why we usually get really generic protagonists over the gay and lesbian ones.
>>
>>32184059
Well shit son. So is Mason going full Sasuke or are we going to prove to the wworld we're better than the ink?
>>
>>32184200
>which pushes away regular players.
I'm pretty certain that the major draw of quests is the shipping re: waifus
>Some heterosexual players also dislike it.
Yeah I think we'll make do without them thank you very much.
>>
>>32184236
Well seeing as the power only controls the ink, not the object itself, yes it does, but also where that ink is in the object. The books lift because its in the page, the pens because it's distributed among the object as a whole, etc.
>>
>>32184270

You head down to the cafeteria, trying not to think about the odd confrontation you just had. The large area is filled, tables and chairs packing every corner. You grab a tray, grab a variety of foods and such, before heading to your usual table. Once there, you see it empty, and look around for Jake. You see him sitting at a large table with a group of people you don't recognize, all of them laughing and conversing. You feel a strange mixture of sadness and anger, and set the tray down at the table, but not yet sitting.

You debate what you want to do.

You set your schoolbag down and smirk. You undo the zipper, and check the ends of the aisle, to ensure nobody is watching. You raise your hand, and a large amount pens raise with it, and with some concentration, fill up your schoolbag. Once filled, most of the shelves now empty, you zip up the bag, and let your plan commence.

You set your bag down, and walk over to the nearby shelves. You focus your energy on the pens, and the bag raises slightly, dragging across the floors, out of sight. Finally, you roll it out the door, and put it behind the trashcan outside.

"Um, yeah, I need to buy this notepad," you say, placing it down on the counter with the 50 cents it costs. "Alright sir," the cashier says, taking the coins, and tossing the receipt in the trash. "Have a great day."

You smirk, and step out of the building, grabbing your bag.

Just thought of something.

People don't need to know what our power is.

If we use our ink control to emulate other powers such as flight, durability, and hyperkinetic projectiles we'd be able to throw people off of what our real ability is.

Our costume therefore should be drenched in inks. Mislead. Misdirect, and confuse. Make it more than what it is.
>>
>>32185100
You. I like you. This is why /tg/ gets cool shit done, we're creative.
>>
>>32185100
>Our costume therefore should be drenched in inks.
Various colors too. It'd allow us to do a quick "outfit change" to avoid the most immediate pursuit.

"Suspect is in a black hoodie" would fail, because we're suddenly wearing a red one. with the black hidden in the inner lining.
>>
Rolled 17

>>32185100
That's a good idea, and we don't even really need to cover anything in ink. Ink tubes placed in the right position should be enough to at least fly.

A tattoo might also be a good idea to boost our strength.
>>
>>32185100
If tattoo ink counts, getting a few could also be useful in that regard.
>>

>>
>>32185213
Why not just fill a gallon jug with ink and lug that around? There's barely a milliliter of ink in a tattoo.
>>
>>32185210
I like it!

But it's also a bad idea.

I'm running this by serial killer rules. You never mix "business" and "personal life.
The moment you do, both are fucked.

If we want a minion though? Tattoo collar. We can force choke them if they disobey us.
>>
>>32185213
You can't identify someone with a tattoo that's never consistent. It's on the arm one day, the leg the next, and it's never the same shape.
>>
>>32185213
>those are really identifying.
We can control the ink in paper, we can probably control the ink in a tat.
>>
>>32185234

Pressing your back against the alley wall, you set down your bag and zip it open. With a deep breath, you focus, and raise your hand, bringing a small handful of pens into your grasp. You create a mental target on the far wall, and ready yourself. You can feel energy pulse through you, and you release the darts. Your accuracy is great, hitting your mark exactly, but the force could not pierce the stone wall. You raise your hand, and make another attempt. Time and Time again, you keep your target, but the force is not great enough.

Yet, you keep at it. Hours pass, many pens snapping, the ink pooling down the wall, but you only shift that to make a proper target. Finally, after many attempts, one sticks. The pen made contact with the innermost ring, impaling the wall an inch deep. You feel exhausted, the pure mental energy put forth. And you do it again, and again. As the sky grows dark, many pens shattered, you can now put a full barrage an inch deep into a stone wall. You pack up your pens, feeling extremely tired and heavy, start dragging yourself home.

As you continue down the alleys, however, a man up ahead walks towards you. Six foot tall, muscles bulging out of his stark grey wifebeater, tattoos draped across his neck and arms. In one hand, he has a heavy brass knuckle, in the other, a knife. "Hey, kid. What the hell are you doing out here?" His voice is deep, echoing down the alleys. "If you're not careful, you could get really hurt. So here's the deal. Give me everything you got, and I'll escort you out of here, how does that sounds?" He chuckles, glaring down at you, now only a few yards away.

The man chuckles, walking towards you. 'This is it. This is how I put my training to use.' You smirk. He approaches you, putting the knife back in his pocket. He reaches down for you bag, when you lunge at him, concentrating your power on his tattoos. You manage to push him back a few feet, but not amazingly so. He glares at you, then rushes forward, and lands a solid blow with his brass knuckles against the side of your skull.

You smash against the ground, blood dripping down from your head. "What the fuck, kid. Stay in line." He grumbles. reaching for your bag. You sit up, and concentrate your power. With full force, a barrage of pens rip through the cloth, stabbing across the torso of the man. He collapses against the wall, blood dripping down. Looking up at him, you can see that the pens didn't even make it an inch deep. "You'll live," you murmur, the pens pulling themselves back into their container, a small amount of blood on each one.

You place your hand on your wound, and decide it should be fine until you get home. Strapping the bag onto your back, you start heading back, before your dad gets too worried. You might have to find a new place to practice.

What are you, lawful good? This isn't cop simulator

Alright guys, that's all for today. I'll be back next week, same day, same time. By then, I'll have a Twitter set up, and I'll be working on a skill and merit system.

I'll stick around for a bit to answer questions, also critique would be nice. It was my first quest.

Should've sucked his dick, that way we wouldn't been punched.

>You're supposed to use minimal force in self defense
That entirely depends on when and where you are buddy.

Supervillainy is for saps and losers in tight spandex playing cops and robbers. We're looking for a career as a super criminal, that's way more professional act.

>Leaving a witness.
Goddamnit Mason, get good.
>>
>>32185672
What he's going to do, call the cops that we used super powers against him when he tried to mug us?
>>
>>32185688
Remember our face during our glorious rise to super criminal status. He's a loose thread, man.
>>
>>32185622
Gonna archive on suptg?
>>
>>32185733
Yeah, sure, he's going to remember the face of some kid he saw for a half a minute on dark street years from now, connect the dots of our carefully planned capers, and stand against us since he's just such a law-abiding guy.
>>
>>32185797
No loose threads.
No witnesses.
>>
>>32185794
Yeah, that's the plan
>>
>>32185810
There's paranoia and then there's just being silly.

Because leaving ink-splattered corpses laying around is just *so* much better idea and has no complications whatsoever.

If you're still here OP, what exactly counts as ink? Cause you can use pretty much anything that stains as an ink.
Does lemon juice count?
Does wet charcoal count?
