The two of you approach the school, and land. Forget COVERS, it doesn't look like there's anybody at all here.

You take that time to walk around the school's hallways. You peek into the classrooms, but find nobody inside.

Souichirou sounds off. "They responded, and said everything is under control. No COVERS in sight."

"That's weird, because we're inside the school, and there doesn't seem to be anybody here.", you reply.

"...Maybe they're all in some large room? Like, an assembly hall or a gym?"

"Let's hope so."

The school has a sports hall, so you head there. It's empty, almost.

A lone male student is sitting on the floor with a laptop. There's something odd about him.

This works double because for most viewers, the japanese voices are just so much background noise. That's a fair point. The japanese probably have the same percentage of decent voice actors as we do, just when you're watching subs, you don't notice the people who are average because you're focusing on the nuance of the text and the voice adds to that, and rarely distracts.

In english or (your dub language of preference), you can only focus on the actual dialog as it is spoken (which you've already "heard" a version of), so it has to be good acting and good script to seem as good to you. You can't even turn on subtitles to distract yourself these days, because the subs are always for the japanese audio track.

"He should be safe by himself. They wouldn't send COVERS for a single survivor. Anyway, I suppose that's it for now. You can rest. I know you feel like you've failed, but you gave it your best. None of us were prepared for this. It will go better next time."

Reassurance is always good to hear, but you still don't feel so well about this. Regardless, you do need rest, especially after an hour of flying at supersonic speeds.

Right now, you're too tired to attempt switching back bodies with Satsuki, and you can tell it's the same for her. Oh well, it's not so bad. You're getting a completely new outlook on how people see the two of you.
