Artificial wombs to grow new babies in are a likely avenue of research, but entirely machine-based ones seem unlikely to be successful for a long time. We do not exactly have a lot of research put into those right now, since we have never really needed them. Modern cloning tech can make a clone embryo, but still needs a female to carry it to term.

The most reasonable direction seems to be replicating the female sex organs through stem cell research and organic 3d printing. We can already use that process to build organ parts today that are genetically compatible with the subject, so that's a place to start. And unlike the birthing-chamber idea, we already know how those female organs work.

Once we figure out how to make genetically compatible female sex organs... that is still just organs. They are going to have to go into someone to be useful. Volunteers would probably be encouraged, but I doubt that would produce enough "females" to start.

Assuming that the organ-growing research beats out the artificial womb machine? I suspect there would be a draft to take adolescent males in a certain age range, since there is probably an optimal window when it comes to malleability to the female hormones that would be flooding their system after the implantation and being old enough to handle surgery of that degree.

Assuming we survive the initial holocaust, half the population instantly dying would probably result in a huge amount of deaths in the first day or so due to car crashes, plane crashes, operations and corpses just plainly getting int he way, not too mention the HIGHLY likely widespread panic and rioting because most adult males will have lost their partner and have no chance at having a new one, it's completely unprecedented, but I would guess a large number of people would lose desire to live and a lot would basically go straight to violence.

That really honestly depends on how we go about it, as long we just make sure they find a partner and bear children, why would our views of women change that much? You know, the best way to prevent the new society from being a bunch of old dudes fucking young girls is to produce new boys (two girls to every one boy) at the same time, then have the guys who donated the genetic material raise them as a family. You get that family attachment, along with the beginning of a new generation. Also with girls outnumbering boys, you'll have wives/mates for the boys who were just kids when the women died, insuring a continuity of civilization.

There will probably be a bunch of these places around the world, and you'd want to trade families to diversify genes and spread new ideas around. Of course, then there would be a threat of men from outside of the compound/facility, not to mention a lack of a labor pool to produce food and the like. 4 player local multiplayer, 2 player co-op campaign, good variety of tanks from classic ideas of mobile armor to the bizarre (MLRS platforms, laser sniper tanks, flamethrower tanks, Flip-E-Tank that can roll over, the Mototank which is like a motorcycle tank) lots of cool weapons that have semi-secret super upgrades, etc etc. Also, nukes.
