The last thing you remember is the look of fear in your friend's eyes at lunch. The first thing you remember is reading over the result of a week's worth of investigations.

Your name is Alice Lindon, a prototype Infiltration/Assassination Android who has just spent the last week both in and out of various disguises finding out about Hana Kanzaki and the Kanzaki Mega-Conglomerate, Kanzaki Pacific Holdings.

Through it all, you've discovered several key details.

One: There were ripples running through the city, ripples that are still being felt, because of Kanzaki. People have 'moved' or vanished, and anything negative has been excised from media and many, many blogs. You got lucky that they never got to the archives.

Two: Kanzaki has been clearly abusing their power and international influence to do all of this. They're clearly violating all UN regulations in regards to corporate activities and doing so in a way that the UN Watchdogs won't notice.

Three: You are being followed. You've noticed them a few times. Cars, and people, in deliberate tailing movements. Normal people, and even trained agents wouldn't have noticed, but you have the advantage of not being human.

You know you'll have to deal with these tails soon enough and the sooner you do so, the better.

You can't bring your heavier weaponry, and even your gas blades would be too risky. You slip your silenced pistol into a concealed holster and prepare for the day.
>>
1d100 for general voting, best roll out of five is chosen.

Combat is 1d100 with modifiers for how many shots you fire in combat. Best out of three roll is chosen.

Burst Fire and Full-Auto Fire attacks can be done multiple times in one action, but each attack after the first incurs a cumulative -10 penalty.

Body armour subtracts from total damage done per attack.

You can target multiple enemies in a single action. Roll 1d100+modifier for each target. Specify for each roll the target and the attack used.

Takedowns and Executions are 1d100-20 and a short paragraph describing the Takedown or Execution. Best out of three rolls is chosen, but I will pick which action description looks the best to me.

Reactor Charges are your healing mechanic. Expend a Reactor charge and roll 12d6. Reactor Charges stack, and are regained through Takedowns and Executions.

Stability is a measure of your Yandere psychological state. If you lose a certain amount, known as the Snap Limit, you Snap and enter a state of emotional hysteria and brief psychosis. Lose all your Stability, and you go Berserk, and will perform a violent action, often against your love interest.

Relationship is how strong your relationship with Ian Carter is. You have to keep your relationship as high as possible. If you drive the relationship down into negative numbers, Ian will reject you, and you will proceed to murder him and commit suicide.

Good luck.

You are on the streets of Old City, observing through your sensors one of your eight identified tails, a man.

You know that there are five more in close proximity, but they aren't in your visual field of view.

You should probably try to get visual confirmation, but that risks tipping off your main tail.

At the same time, grabbing the main tail runs the risk of being made by the others.

Ignoring them however, will only cause you to play into their hands. They've been tailing you for a week, so they clearly have had time to set up a trap.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't...

>Grab the main tail.

>Grab the main tail.

You decide to screw up their plans and get some information at the same time. You make a turn and double back, and just as you predicted, the tail neatly turns back and moves to a non-suspicious position.

You can't do this in public, but you should be able to lure him somewhere more isolated.

You smile as you plan out a route and begin walking it casually, letting the tail follow you through the streets as you head towards your ambush site, an abandoned playground. Lots of cover, plenty of places to hide.

You head into the playground and start tracing communications and immediately get contact, "...into the playground, have lost visual on her."

You appear and sit down at some swings, kicking your feet lightly as you listen to the tail, "Wait, I have her, she's on the swings, permission to commence snatch? Understood, snatching now."

You check your systems.

>Let Him Grab You.

You want answers, and while torturing and killing a man would be...cathartic after having to deal with a week of classes with that bitch Midori all but whoring herself to Ian, you decide to see where this rabbit hole takes you.

You swing casually for a few minutes, letting the action relax you, before suddenly you feel gloved hands grab you and you struggle, restraining your strength so you don't kill him with a punch or kick in the wrong place.

You feel an injector go into your neck and you pretend to relax as you detect a powerful tranquiliser being injected into you.

"I have the target, bring the van around."

You listen as you are roughly searched, "The fuck? Subject was armed. Forty-Five pistol."

You tap the communications again, "Understood, make sure she has no other weaponry."

You feel his hands search you quite professionally, and invasively, before turning up nothing.

"She's clean."

"Roger that, the van is now parked and ready to pick you up."

"Right." The tail picks you up and grunts, "Fuck me, this bitch is heavy."

You make a note to make his death extra-painful as you are carried to a waiting van, placed inside and tied up.

The vehicle begins travelling and you begin tapping the van's GPS unit.

You easily tap the GPS system and find that you're currently heading out of the city, towards an unmarked location on the GPS' route plotting.

You must be heading to a covert facility, this must be where they took the people who vanished, who dug too far into this.

The thought of Ian dating a daughter of this family makes your synthetic blood register higher temperatures before you calm down.

You are hauled up as the van comes to a stop and a voice says, "Carry her inside, we'll wake her up inside when we're ready to begin questioning."

You allow yourself to be carried inside, all the while using passive imaging systems to record everything about the facility.

It's a small, compact location, probably purpose built for this place, but you pick out various rooms that could be anything from barracks to cells to armories and more.

Finally, you are strapped down in a room and injected again, this time with a drug to 'wake you up' but you were never asleep.

As they leave the room to let you recover, your eyes snap open and you take in the chair you're strapped down to.

So they're going to interrogate us, eh? This seems manageable, and escaping now would give away our cover unless we pull off something amazing (which may be possible given the fact that we are covert golem.) They obviously aren't trying to kill us or anything (yet.)

By the way Gideon, I've noticed that you said that this was going to happen on Friday (on Twitter), but isn't it Saturday for you (I think you said in one of the threads that you lived in eastern Australia or something.) Was that a mistake, or was there a delay, or am I just misunderstanding things...

You make yourself look around in confusion, well, fake confusion, confident in your acting skills making you look like a scared teenage girl.

As you 'struggle' and gain data on the strength of the restraints, the door opens to reveal a man in a white medical uniform, "Ah, so this is the newest patient is it?"

He picks up a syringe, "Now, physical torture rarely gets any good results, so I'm just going to ask you some questions while using this special medicine to ensure you don't lie to me. Do you understand?"

That actually seems like a good idea if things head south. This facility probably has a bunch of that and other useful things to take when we head out, especially considering that this place was (presumably) made for interrogations and other covert operations. Plus, it would be really useful in case we need to deal with some of the girls who don't watch themselves around our Ian.
>>

Can we collect the serum? that could be useful to have around.
>>
>>31716087

As you shout those words, you release the necessary saline to tear up like you really are a scared and angry teenager.

The doctor 'tsk's and readies the syringe, "Such a rude girl. No matter. 2ccs into an artery, that should be sufficient to get you to loosen your tongue."

There is the sensation of a pinprick and you feel the liquid being injected. Your systems analyse it and bring up a match.

DNi-90a, a powerful neurological modifier that compels truthful and honest speech. You isolate the drug as the doctor turns, "She's been drugged and is ready for questioning."

"You injected me with a truth serum, I couldn't hold that opinion back in the context of answering your question! Your face is mildly off putting and your eyes are spaced asymetrically, jackass!"

The man's eyes bug out at the venom in your voice and he looks like he's about to strike you again, when a suited woman comes in, "Take five."

The man visibly restrains himself and as he leaves, you easily catch him glancing at his face in a mirror before the door closes.

"Sorry about Takeshi, he's doesn't quite get how things work here," the woman explains as she lights a cigar, "But I do. So listen, cooperate and you'll get paid, and you won't have to worry about-"

The lights go out, "What the fuck? Get the emergency lighting on, now!"

You suddenly hear someone shout, "They're not working!"

Your eyes switch into night-vision modes. Low-light enhancement is useless so you switch to Thermal/Ultraviolet just in time to see it enter and tear the woman's head off.

It's a humanoid figure, and you see strange waving lines behind it, coming from the small of it's back.

They slice open another secured locker, nanowhips lashing violently and tear into it, clearly searching for something.

Finally, they pause and halt their search, "Fuck, it's not here."

They turn, clearly intended on heading back to you.

It's simpler than using "he or she".

prediction. Kit here is the Ex uploaded into a crazy combat frame. She's here looking for her meat bag.

You quickly run back to where Kitsune left you originally and disengage your cloak.

Thankfully, they didn't see you or detect your optical illusion as the Kitsune looks at you, "Listen, the entrance is just down that hallway, just follow the road and you'll be at the highway. You can catch a public bus from there."

With that said, Kitsune vanishes into the depths of the facility.

Leaving you to make a choice.

You turn and walk back in, you need to know just what is with this person, this 'Kitsune', and following them isn't as hard as one might think.

From the damage, you manage to find out where the Kitsune is heading.

And it appears to be a morgue. You frown and walk into the morgue to find the massive storage area, steam flowing out in a wave of cold.

You hear noises inside and carefully move through the gap in the door to find Kitsune standing in front of cryo-preservation unit.

They run a hand down the surface of the unit and you see a woman's face behind the glass.

What the hell is going on?

Then you hear a noise and jerk back as the Kitsune turns, "You bastards...not enough that you had to take my mother...you make her your little science project. I'll destroy you, destroy you all."

You engage your cloak as the Kitsune slices open the door and stalks out.

You walk into the refrigerated area, and stand there, staring at the face of the unknown woman.

(And that's Part 30, Part 31 will be up Monday 7:00AM, GMT+10! Next time, investigating the facility further.)

Thanks for the thread, Gideon! Don't be long!

well this is awkward. We're the damsel saved by the edgy protagonist out for revenge, who normally would turn into a love interest.
