You could probably quickly dispose of those guys yourself, but that's not the point here. In the Battlefield Trip, you're not a one man army, you have an actual army to command.

"Ping-Pong Club, stand forward!"

A line of students forms before you, holding oversized rackets. With their help, they block the bullets fired by Kinman students. ...Wait, are those bullets? It doesn't feel like it.

"What are they shooting with?", you ask.

"It's money, sir! They're firing bills of money at us!", one of the students answers.

Indeed, you can sense small pieces of paper all around the Ping-Pong Club members. You pick one of them up.

"Judging by the feel, these aren't genuine Bank of Japan notes, are they? You're using counterfeit notes?"

"They ain't counterfeit! They're Takarada Bucks! The word of the wealthy Takarada Conglomerate is worth more than gold here in Osaka! They're worth way more than the debt-ridden national currency!"

You're not big on economics, but you're pretty sure there's no way this can work well. Either way, this is not why you're here. The Ping-Pong Club is doing their job, but you're not going to achieve anything by just blocking.

Mankanshoku seems bored, you should probably occupy her with something before she wanders off.

"Mankanshoku, take care of this.", you say.

"Okay!"

She steps in front of the Ping-Pong Club members, and spreads her arms. The students armed with guns hesitate, and stop shooting. What is she thinking?

"If she's stupid, that's her own fault! Fire!", Takarada calls out.

Mankanshoku moves rapidly towards the students, and back where she was standing. You're sure only you managed to catch that. She's pretty fast. Suddenly, you hear clicking sounds. Kinman students are out of ammo?

"She... she took our ammo!", one of them shouts.

"Thanks for the cash! I'm off to do some sightseeing!", Mankanshoku says, and storms off.

"Mankanshoku, where do you think you're going?!", you call out, but she's already too far away to hear you.

You can't chase her. You have a duty to perform here, after all. Oh well, the worst she can do is cause some collateral damage. She has her uniform, so she'll be safe. You can find her once you're done with Takarada.

Mankanshoku did do what you asked her for, though. The students armed with guns, deprived of ammo, are now defenseless.

You order the clubs to advance on them and through the school gates. As they're about to head inside, the gates burst open. It seems that enemy reinforcements have arrived.

"Nice trick there, but you'll need to do better than that to win!", Takarada says.

Even though they shouldn't be able to, Kinman students manage to push back your forces, all clad in Battlefield Trip Ultima Uniforms.

"How can you stand up to Ultima Uniforms?!", you ask.

"It's not a matter of "how", but "how much money can you spend on it"! And let me tell you, I can spend a lot!"

While even in power, your army loses in numbers, and is slowly getting pushed out of the school. They want to fight you in the city?

You were planning to debut your new uniform in a more grand manner, but this will have to do. You want to get this done quick.

"You might be able to stand up to regular Ultima Uniforms, but how about this?"

The surrounding area is bathed in green light as you transform. This new uniform bears a considerably slimmer design, not as much as Matoi's Dragon Regalia, but enough to allow you to move way faster. Thanks to Doctor Kiryuuin's adjustments, you can draw a lot more power from the Life Fibers, as well.

"Three-Star Ultima Uniform: Blade Regalia Mk 3!"

With the uniform's help, you easily sweep aside the enemies, making way for your forces to head for the school building. They quickly take control of it, overrunning any remains of Takarada's troops, and forcing them to surrender.

"Takarada! We've captured the school, now come out and surrender!", you call out.

"Why would I surrender?", he replies.

It seems he's finally decided to show up in person. He's accompanied by a large group of people. Those aren't students, though. They're people of various ages, most of them adults.

"I mean, you might've taken out the students, but they aren't my only troops!"

"You're making the civilians fight for you?"

"Of course! Take a civilian, add a bit of cash, boom! You get a Combat Civilian, armed to the teeth, and ready to fight for your cause!"

Takarada is determined to win, by fair means or foul. However, your mission here is not to simply beat him. Nudist Beach HQ is somewhere in Osaka, which means they're likely backed by Takarada Conglomerate. Attacking the city and its citizens directly probably wouldn't be wise.

"See? You might have those fancy clothes of yours, but in the end, they're nothing against the power of money! Money keeps the world spinning, and motivates the folk!"

"You said they're ready to fight for your cause, right?", you say.

"Yeah, so what?!"

"...Are they ready to die for it, though?"

You pick a group of civilians at the front, most of them armed with guns. You move towards them at full speed, and deliver a lightning-quick thrust to each of their weapons.

They watch in shock as the guns fall apart in their hands.

"Now, get lost, or the same will happen to you!" You strike the ground with your shinai, creating a small crater around you.

The disarmed civilians quickly run away, and the still armed ones discard their weapons and follow suit. Takarada is left standing alone, dumbfounded.

"I thought so. You can throw money at them all you want, but when faced with a tough enemy, they will run for their lives, not caring for you, or your cause."

You hear a helicopter approaching, and sense a very distinct, unique presence within it. There's no mistaking it, it has to be her. Why now, though?

"Well said, Sanageyama."

Satsuki descends from the chopper on a rope.

"Lady Satsuki!"

Well, while still a bit of a let down in that department, narratively, as a story construction, it makes a lot of sense.

In 23, it's all "humans are crazy and cool and look at what we all can do", and then we snap to 24 and it's like "you guys are just regular people, and it has not been expected of you to defeat alien super-monsters". y'know, you have a good Ensemble episode in 23, and everyone tries to pull their weight in 24, but ultimately, Ryuko and Senketsu are the protagonist characters. So it's, in some ways "proper" to have them go off and face the climax (though supported by all the other characters). I don't think any Creative Writing teachers would call you out for it. In fact, it'd be weird if you hit the endgame, and your focal character is suddenly sidelined by all the supporting cast.

So, in short, it could have been better, but y'know crafting a narrative-wise it's a fairly natural function.
>>

>>
>>31688389
>Kujo-descended

I think you mean Joestar.

Also, given all the time and alternate reality fuckery that goes on in JoJo's, I wouldn't be surprised if Mako was an alternate reality Jolyne or some shit.
>>
>>31688224
You make a fair and reasonable case for Episode 24, and I completely understand your point of view. Ryuuko and Senketsu are indeed the Protags, and thus undoubtedly will be the ones to carry the day.

However, it's entirely the way in which it was handled that leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Yes Ryuuko and Senketsu are the Protags, but that's not creative license to render just about everyone else completely useless, despite the heavy implication of everyone coming together and working as a team that I feel Ep 23 heavily implied.

The only one who had any real defining moment besides Ryuuko and Senketsu was Gamagoori, and I feel it was entirely for the sake of further shipping him with Mako, rather than a key point needed for the plot.

While I respect your analysis for why Ep 24 makes sense from a storytelling standpoint, I still feel it was the most lackluster way to go about it, which I feel washed away much of the intense flames of hype and fun I'd been feeling up until that point.

I still enjoyed KLK, and would recommend it to others for watching, but I'd personally advise against watching Ep 24 and just ending with Ep 23, which I personally felt was the high point.

It seems Sanageyama handled his task well. The school is under his control, and Takarada has no more cards to play.

"You've heard him, Takarada. Money is not what controls people, it's fear. And I can see you're pretty afraid, yourself."

"M-me? Afraid of you, Satsuki? H-hah!"

"You know him, Lady Satsuki?", Sanageyama asks.

"You could say that. I don't really remember when was the last time I saw him, though."

"How could you forget?!" It seems Takarada was insulted enough by your words to forget about his fear for a moment. "The mighty heir of Takarada Conglomerate graced your elementary school graduation party with his presence!"

Certainly, you can remember that. It was during the spring break. Ragyou threw a garden party for you, and invited all the big shots and their children. Thinking back to it, you would've preferred to spend the time with Ryuuko and Nonon.

"You should be glad I remember your seedy face at all."

"Still high and mighty, I see! But, I wonder, will you be able to keep this up after you see this?"

Takarada pulls out a remote from his pocket, and presses a button. He seems to sink into the ground, which starts shaking. After a moment he emerges again, in what looks like a giant mechanical crab.

"Say hello to my anti-Honnouji Academy mechanized weapon, Doutonbori Robo!"

Ridiculous.

>>
>>31688847
....but he was first. Is this a round robin torch now? Is heroism a round robin thing?
>>
>>31688519
Something like that.

Maybe Ragyo throws out life-fiber fodder, and Mako leads a squad of 1-2 stars to battle against them. Meanwhile Nui goes full on beast mode and the Devas have to work together to keep her down. And Ryuuko and Satsuki team up to take down Ragyo.

Nui is getting her ass kicked by the Devas, and Ragyo gets her ass kicked by Satsuki and Ryuuko. Nui watches in horror as Ragyo suffers a fatat blow from a combined attack from both Ryuuko and Satsuki, but not before Ragyo gives a final message to Nui, telling her she loves her as a daughter or something. Nui goes completely insane with rage, escapes using a clone switch technique, and fuses with the OLF.

No space battle, just a final face off against OLF Nui, where everyone contributes and assists Ryuuko and Senketsu, who both end up breaking inside OLF Nui to destroy a core on the inside of her or something. Maybe once inside and near the core of OLF Nui does something to severely injure Ryuuko, and victory isn't certain. Senketsu then evolves himself, feeling love for Ryuuko, and manages to take over the OLF Nui for a brief moment. He tells Ryuuko he'll always love her and casts her outside of OLF Nui, before forcing OLF Nui into space where he makes OLF self-destruct.

Ryuuko cries in agony, while everyone else gives a solemn salute to Senketsu.

Or something along those lines that doesn't end up with everyone doing absolutely nothing but cheer Ryuuko on.

You turn to Sanageyama. "I know I tasked you with subjugating Osaka, but we don't have time for this nonsense."

You draw Bakuzan, its blade now a dark blue. It's reacting, as well?

"As you wish, Lady Satsuki." Sanageyama stands aside.

You start walking towards Takarada and his tacky mech.

"You think you can do something with that butter knife? Gourd Missile Shower!"

His weapon starts firing gourd-shaped missiles at you. Without breaking your stride, you raise your sword hand and proceed to chop them into pieces with blinding speed.

"W-what?!" Takarada is shocked.

You approach Takarada, and deliver a single slash across his Doutonbori Robo. It falls apart, leaving him sprawling on the ground, almost naked.

"A-are you even human?", he chokes out.

For a moment you feel a wave of anger, but quickly restrain it. He has no way of knowing that, after all.

"Who knows. Now, tell me. Who gave you the technology to stand up against Ultima Uniforms?"

Takarada starts panicking even more than before. Suddenly, several needles hit the ground between you and him.

"We did!"

>>
>>31689470
BITCH she'd hate Stone Free and Jolyene Kujo and I'mma bout ta learn you why!

Now, we all know Stone Free's power is to let Jolyene turn herself into string, but we have to think about that.

String is a word that can, at times, replace fiber. They mean more or less the same kind of thing, a small thin piece of cloth.

Stands are visions of life energy, originally thought to be manifestation of 'ghost ripple', which is also a kind of life energy.

So a Stand that turns one into string would also mean Life that gives people Fiber powers.

Ergo, we must assume that JOLYENE KUJO IS LIFE FIBERS!!!!!

While it might seem like a good idea to escape, Ragyo just learned Ryuuko's her daughter and will likely be more on guard as a result, so trying to flee at this moment wouldn't be practical.

Instead, it's a good idea to get a better idea of just where we are, and perhaps even find out some valuable information that we can give to Satsuki, which I'm sure Ryuuko knows will be on the way to rescue her.

We spy mode now.

Normally I'd agree with you, however we're dealing with Ragyo here, in her own territory, after her interest in Ryuuko has just tripled.

Surely Ryuuko wouldn't think escaping would be easy, at all. And she especially wouldn't want to risk ruining her sisters plans, after being so careful up to this point.

And again, I'm sure Ryuuko knows Satsuki is going to do everything she can to rescue her anyway, so it's better to keep playing along and gain more useful intelligence.

Trying to escape in this setting would potentially undo everything up to this point.
>>
>>31690036
Since you're already here, you might as well take a look at the mansion. It technically IS your house, after all. And who knows, maybe you can find something that can help you and Satsuki against your mother?

You must remain vigilant, though. Even if Ragyou isn't here, she definitely wouldn't leave you unattended. You leave Satsuki's chambers, to see a maid waiting right outside.

"Good morning, Lady Ryuuko." She bows deeply.

"Good... morning?", you reply "Isn't it past noon already?"

"Morning begins when you awaken, Lady Ryuuko. It matters not what hour it is."

"O-oh. I see." You're not used to this kind of treatment.

"Since it's morning, we've prepared breakfast. Please, follow me."

Oh, right, breakfast. You're used to preparing your meals yourself, with the exception of dinner, usually made by Soroi. Yesterday's events made you temporarily forget about hunger entirely, though it seems to be coming back.

It's already basically a Cosmic Horror story, just the story focuses much more on Ryuko's personal conflicts than the ramification that "space clothes force evolution in order to eat entire planets" part.

All you need is for the OLF to have a terrifying unfathomable mind, throw in some psychic powers or sorcery, bam, put some more emphasis on ordinary humans worshiping the Fibers, etc, etc.

Turn NB into Not!DG, a rogue faction of the JSDF dedicated to protecting man from aliens. Isshin used to work with Not!MJ-12. Maybe make Life Fibers some other race of pan-dimensional space beings' fault. And make Mikisugi Nyarlathotep or a Yithian in disguise, or something.

And Ragyo would probably have to actually have had sex with the life fibers to produce some horrible abomination, because Lovecraft's dislike for miscegenation and cultural dilution. Maybe put a slant on it that Ragyo encourages western style fashion as opposed to more original fashions from Japan, or some shit

It'd add a little something to the mix, though, for sure.

Have you seen the Yellow Sign?

You're hungry, and see no reason to decline, so you follow the maid.

As you walk behind her, you take in the sights in the mansion. It's almost feels as if it's even larger on the inside. You can tell that the building is old, and often renovated. Just how long have the Kiryuuins been this influential?

Eventually you arrive at a spacious dining hall, and the maid leads you to a specific chair by the massive table. Mako's former Two-Star villa has nothing on this.

After a moment, maids start pouring into the room, carrying a small feast towards you.

You'd feel bad if their effort went to waste, so you eat a bit of everything. Luckily, you haven't eaten anything since yesterday morning. You thank the maids and leave the dining hall, somewhat stuffed.

As you walk down a hallway, trying to find your way around, suddenly you feel a wave of anger, and a scene flashes before your eyes.

A school courtyard of some sort, a half-naked ginger guy defeated on the ground, and your hand, holding a sword with a blue blade. ...Is it your hand? No. You can see a white sleeve, a familiar-looking one. It's Junketsu!

You stagger, and lean against a wall for support.

"What's wrong, Ryuuko?", Senketsu asks.

There's nobody around, so you reply quietly. "I don't know. I suddenly felt angry, and some kind of weird scene flashed before my eyes. It's like... I saw and felt what Satsuki is seeing and feeling for a moment?"
>>
>>31691802

Ah, so we only communicate when it involves >LIFE FIBERS

Can we concentrate and try to reach her? Let her know we're alive and uncompromised (I'm not saying we're okay, because that is NOT true.).

Oh well. Atleast we got some closure. She died like she lived or something like that.
>>
>>31691858

I'm sure it works just as well with bad touch.
>>
>>31691873
Or maybe Soichiro is actually dead and it's Maiko in disguise working for Ragyo
>>
>>31691873

No, if she died as she lived, then it was a trap.

And when least expected, she'll explode out of her grave with picnic baskets filled with claymore mines, or something.

We never did get REVENGEANCE on Satsuki for that bullshit, did we?

>>31691923

I mean, for very liberal interpretations of "bad touch" it did work when Ragyo touched our heart.
>>
>>31691923
You're not suggesting we bad touch ourselves to let her know we're alive do you?

"Could this be related to Ragyou awakening the Life Fibers in your body with what she did yesterday?", Senketsu wonders.

"Beats me. But that makes sense. I mean, this has never happened before."

You can't help but wonder what was Satsuki so angry about. Was she angry at the guy she presumably defeated? Well, at least it seems she's doing fine. The place she was in didn't look like Honnouji, though. You recall Ragyou saying something about Kansai during Naturals Election. Did Satsuki go there?

Your walk around the mansion is fruitless, as you keep getting lost and walking in circles. This isn't getting you anywhere.

We may as well stay the course, now that we're exploring.

I suppose this a good opportunity to see if they're actually mindless or just really, reeeally polite.
>>
>>31692726

Poke them in the boobs and see if they react at all.
>>
>>31692761
That's a reward in this household...
>>
>>31692775

What if we used bakuzan nails?

Speaking of which, talk to Satsuki if we get back, as about maybe getting some back up weapons installed in our body. OR learn how to grow our own ultrahard life-fiber nails.
>>
>>31692761
Demand their lunchmoney and see how they react.

Not, like, poke them very hard. Just enough for it to be annoying to a regular person.

Plus, the fuck do we know about being a proper lady?

Imagine being a maid, working for a religious nutjob psycho that rapes her kids on a regular basis. Every day you live in fear of being "taken to the bathroom" for the slightest misstep in etiquette. Then her delinquent daughter shows up and starts poking you in the tits to make you break character...

I suggest we rather try being nice to the maids, trying to overcome their robotic nature with informality and friendliness. Friendly interrogation on the topic of family and hobbies etc to see if they're mindless drones or not. (And then we can bop then in the tits.)
>>
>>31692567
You could probably use a maid's help at this point. They seem to be able to move around the building with their eyes closed, so they could definitely show you around. First, you need to find one, though.

After a while of wandering around some more, you find one of them, sweeping the floor. Upon spotting you, she instantly interrupts her duties to bow.

"Lady Ryuuko. Can I be of any help?"

"Well, I see you're busy, so I'll just look for someone else-"

In a flash, the maid storms off with the broom in hand, and appears again, without it.

"Oh, okay."

"How can I help, milady?"
