Welcome to witch quest. Your name is Mildred and you are a witch; a full blooded, broom flying, potion making, spell casting witch. Well sort of, you would be one if your master hadn't gone and ditched you, so technically you’re just an apprentice witch for the moment and fairly young as well, Sixteen years-old.

In a day and age where the control of the Imperial church goes unchecked being in the witch craft business is risky work, but that doesn’t bother you much. This is what you would like to say but due to your rotten luck life can’t be that easy. After being on the road for a couple of weeks you finally made it to your destination, which too much confusion of your party was in the middle of nowhere. According to Randolf the place you’re looking for is the lost capital of the old magic kingdom, Witchedge. To most people this place is nothing more than a myth but the strange book Randolf has says otherwise. Following what the book said your group made its way through the Canyon of doom, the forest of eternal night, and defeated the lake guardian. After finishing it you entered the lake and lost sight of the world above.

Holding your breath you plunge deeper into the black void. Looking around you see the lake is full of life, fish swim back and forth, dancing all around you. Seaweed and other plants wave in the waters current and the rocks reflect light from the surface back to you. Continuing on you don’t see any change in the landscape and you feel your chest starting to burn, however you soon see a small opening in a the rock face off in the distance. Making your way towards it you feel your breath running out and quickly your face starts to turn blue, before long you can’t hold it anymore and you open your mouth in a great gasp. For a moment you panic but then you realize you’re not drowning. Opening your mouth a few times no water enters your mouth and you’re pulling in pure oxygen. Looking around you see some of your party has already figured this out but the rest are flailing about.

Swimming over to Tam you grab her arm. After she settles down you see the look of panic on her face as she struggles to keep her breath. Pointing to your face you inhale deeply and exhale, Tam looks at you freighted and slowly opens her mouth. After she's okay you go over to the others and do the same.

Soon, the rest of the group is following close behind you as you lead them to the cave. Once there you clime into it and onto dry land. Catching your breath you look up to see Randolf and Sasha standing there.

Looking back to you Randolf smiles "Hey, turns out the water's magic"

Rolling your eyes you say "Yeah, thanks for telling me that"

After everyone's on land Randolf does a quick head count "5.. 6.. 7, hey wait, where's Weston and Deniece?"

Suddenly Deniece climbs onto shore carrying the unconscious Weston. Putting him down she begins to give him CPR until he starts coughing up water.

Once he's stable you ask "What happened?"

Coughing a little Weston says "Don't know, I couldn't breath and it felt like the water was trying to strangle me"

Patting him on the back Deniece says "Well good thing I was there"

Blushing slightly Weston says "Yeah, thanks for that"

Clapping his hands Randolf says "Well, near death has never stopped an adventurer before so why now? Lets get going" Turning around he continues "Looks like there's a path that leads further in"

Helping Weston to his feet he stumbles a little.

"Something wrong?" You ask

Grimacing in pain he says "My ankle, I think I twisted it a little"

"Well, can you fix it?"

Grinning Weston says "Of course, this much is easy" Bending down his hands glow white with light and his pained look disappears "That should do it but I should stay off of it for a little bit"

Snorting Sasha says "Yeah, and who's going to carry you?"

Before he can say anything Deniece grabs the back of his shirt and plops him on her back "I'll do it"

Turning to face him she says "Don't worry, I won't bite" This doesn't help comfort him at all.

Continuing on with the group you head deeper into the cave. After a little bit of walking you come across a large bridge with the centre missing from it.

Looking down into the gap Randolf says "That looks like a deep drop"

Looking over the gap you think for a second. "Hey guys, I have an idea. Why don't we try to make a bridge out of our bodies a clime across like ants do?"

Randolf gives you the biggest grin "I like it, okay I'll go first and then Sasha and-"

Before he can finish Sasha smacks the back of his head "Yeah no" Looking to you she says "Kid, serious time. Do you have some type of magic that can help us?"

Looking back to the pit you say "Okay, how about Deniece makes a web with a ball attached to it, I fling it across and then she go across to make a makeshift bridge."

Sasha is about to say something then stops "That actually doesn't sound too bad"

Turning to face her Sasha asks "Can you do it?"

Nodding her head she replies "Yeah, I can but... It might take a bit to make the thread"

Turning around she looks over her shoulder "Hey, do you guys mind... turning around for a little?"

As your party turns away you all stand in silence for a few minutes. Finally you hear "I'm done"

Turning around you see a large pile of thread on the floor and Deniece is holding a medium size ball of it. Taking the ball you concentrate and launch it across the gap, as it sticks to the wall Deniece uses it to clime across the gap. She works quickly and soon there's a makeshift bridge make out of webs.

Walking across the web bridge it sways slightly but you all make it across safely.

Clapping you on the back Sasha says "Nice work kid but next time no ant jokes"

Continuing on your group walks further into the cave system.

Slowing your pace you walk beside Deniece. "Hey, I just wanted to say that was really cool what you did back there"

Smiling she says "Nonsense, if anyone should be commended it's you"

Looking over her back Weston says "Even I have to agree that you were really cool back there"

Blushing slightly she says "Thank you for that, are you feeling any better?"

Waving his hand Weston says "Yeah but I should probably stay off of my ankle for a little longer"

Stopping suddenly Deniece looks up, noticing an arrow she fires it at the ceiling while yelling "WATCH OUT"

From the ceiling you hear a screech and few thuds hit the floor. Waving his torch in front of him Randolf asks "What is it? What's going on?"

Soon from the darkness three large bats walk forwards with an arrow protruding from the shoulder of one. The one in the middle roars and charges forwards.

As the bats charge forwards Randolf drops his torch and puts on his shield. Bracing himself he takes the force of the first bat, causing it to stop. The others, unaware of their comrade's sudden stop, crash into it and fall backwards. Pushing forwards Randolf knocks the bat back and thrusts his sword into it's chest.

As the other two stand up you launch a fireball into one of there faces causing screech and fall down again. The last one is pelted with arrows and one rips it's wing.

Looking around you see that Randolf is taking care of the first bat so you turn your attention back to the two others. The bat that you hit with a fireball is now engulfed in flames and is running around screech while the final bat stands back onto it's feet. Rushing forwards it tries to get passed it's friend but is unable to, roaring in frustration it grips the wall and climes past. Once in rage of you the bat lunges but because of it's wing, it's falls to the floor. Standing back up it hobbles at you, swinging the bad wing at you. Step siding the attack you force push on it's bad side causing it to yelp in pain. Lashing out wildly one of it's strikes connects and you're thrown into the wall.

Shakily standing up you grit through the pain and look at your foe. As it stands there with teeth bared and saliva dripping from it's mouth your blood boils, how dare it hit you? This stupid creature had no right and now your going to teach it a lesson.

The bat leaps at you but it's slow moments are easy to read. Step siding, the bat collides with the wall and slumps to the floor, shaking it's head it stands up again. Before it can move you rush forwards and plunge your dagger into it's chest, forcing it back. As it looks down at you the bat roars into your face but that just makes you smile, yelling back your voice drowns out it's roar and causes it to fall silent. Continuing to yell you stab it over and over again until it stops moving. You continue until your vision turns red and you're out of breath.

You would keep going but you feel a hand on your shoulder.

Snapping your head back you see Randolf "Okay sweetie, calm down now, it's over"

Breathing heavily you see that the other bats are taken care of and your group is standing around, taking a deep breath you say "yeah.... sorry, we should keep going"

Leaving the bats behind your group walks down the tunnel in silence until Tam nudges you "Are you okay Milly?"

This causes Tam to gasp a bit and you laugh. "Calm down, I was just joking. Truthfully I'm okay, it's just... those bat things were a little freaky, that's all"

Tam tilts her head a little "You sure?"

"Would I lie to you?"

Suddenly you bump into Sasha back, looking forwards you see that you've entered a large round room with a small pillar in the middle. The room is decorated with strange symbols all around and some of them glow.

Walking over to the walls you look at the symbols but you have no idea what the mean. The only thing you can tell is that the symbols seem to link together, this helps you a little but also confuses you more. If you're reading them correctly it's means that the letters follow no pattern what so ever, they move back and forth, up and down, and even diagonally.

Standing there you say "What the heck are these?"

Hopping next to you Tam says "These are Almeran, the language they wrote with back in the time of the magic kingdom."

Looking over you say "How can you tell?"

"I've read a lot about it in a book once, the writer said whoever came up with this system must have been crazy but at the same time the lettering follows the path of the magic used to write it"

"Neat" You whisper as you reach out and touch the wall. As your hand connects the lettering lights up even more. Pulling your hand back in shock you look at the wall for a second and then touch it again with the same effect.

Yelling over to Jodie you tell her to touch the wall and when she does the same thing happens.

Calling out you say "Jodie, Weston, Lilith, help me with this"

As you start touching the walls the lettering begins to light up and soon Jodie joins while Weston and Lilith take the other side. However, as soon as Weston touches the wall the symbols change from their normal blue colour to a deep red. Quickly the red colour covers the chamber in a deep crimson and the pillar lights up with the same colour. The pillar slides into the floor and soon a large rumbling sound can be heard.

From the area around the pillar the ground opens up and a large rocky creature sits up. It looks around with shinning blue eyes but when it sees the party it's eyes change to the red colour.

You hear a loud mechanical voice echo from the creature "Enemies are not allowed pass, they will be crushed"

As it stands you see a stair case leading down behind it

Waving your hands over your head you say "Stop, we're not your enemies"

Looking down at you the Golems eyes turn back to the blue colour "Little master, you run, I'll protect you"

Reaching over it picks you up and puts you down behind it, looking back to the party it says "I serve until death, none shall harm my master"

It's gaze fixes on Weston "Especially you"

Taking a swing at the group your party scatters. Jodie and Deniece pelt it with arrows but they have no effect. The Golem stomps forwards after Deniece and Weston but they stay just out of it's reach.

Yelling after it you say "Wait, those are my friends, not enemies"

The only thing you get in response is "I must protect my master, My life doesn't matter along as I can fulfil my purpose."

If you leave things as they are your parties going to get crush. Lifting an arm you send a pressure wave out that hits the Golems leg. As the wave connects the Golem trips forwards and struggles to stand.

While it's down you yell "Guys, hurry for the exit!"

The group makes a B-line for the stairs while the Golem scrambles after them. Once everyone's inside you rush down the stairs as well.

From behind you can hear the Golem yell "NO, MASTER. RETURN HER NOW!" and a pounding noise

As you hurry down the hall the voice gets quieter and quieter and soon it's gone. Stopping to catch your breath Sasha looks up completely pissed "God damn it Weston, don't touch anything else"

Before he can say anything Deniece speaks up equally mad "Hey, it's not his fault. If it's any ones fault it's hers" pointing to you. The two women face off against each other while Weston sits on Deniece's back looking slightly terrified.

Stepping in between them you face Sasha "Deniece is right, it was my fault for this whole mess and I almost got you guys killed. I take the full blame"

Sasha's gaze softens a little "Kid.... I-"

Cutting her off you say "But right now we have to work as a team and we can't do that by being at each other's throats"

Stepping forwards Randolf says "Couldn't have said it better myself, sweetie's right. We need to focus on the future here"

A sense of calm returns to the group from Randolf's intervention and Sasha sighs "Fine, lets get going"

Walking down the hall Weston says "Deniece, you didn't need to stand up for me like that but thank you"

Blushing slightly she replies "I couldn't just let her rip into you like that when it wasn't your fault"

Soon the the floor changes from rough stones to better cut and smoother white stones. Before long you enter a smaller room than the one before but still pretty large with huge door on the opposite wall.

Looking at the door it's covered in the lettering from the other room and has large lock on it.

Walking over to the large door you examine the lock, on it is a message in plain English reading "Those of magic blood are only to enter, those without turn back now, and those of the church, beware"

After letting the rest of the party read the message Randolf says "This must be the entrance to the ruins but how do we get through?"

Speaking up Tam says "Well, if it's anything like the last room someone with magic has to touch the symbols."

Tracing your hand across some letters they light up like they did before. This time only you and Jodie touch the symbols to be safe, soon the door is completely lit up but nothing happens.

Scratching her head Tam says "Something should have happened by now"

From behind, you hear a voice say "And it has". Spinning around your group sees a tall man standing there covered in chains.

Pointing her sword at the man Sasha says "Who are you?"

The man sighs "Long story short, I'm Nero"

It's in the last thread but Nero was the last ruler of the old magic kingdom. People blame him for the event that happened a long time ago which covered the world in a plague. This caused the people to rise up against him and allowed the church to take power.

Your whole party stares at the man for a few seconds in silence until Tam speaks up "Yo-you mean the same Nero who caused the event?"

At the word event Nero winches a little "Yes"

While your party digests this you hear a great roar. Suddenly Randolf rushes forwards and tries to stab the man. Before he can Sasha and Rylan hold him back.

While they struggle to pull him back Randolf yells "YOU BLOODY BASTARD, DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE YOU KILLED?!"

Sighing Nero says "Yes, I know, trust me... I know"

While they hold Randolf back you ask "If you're Nero than how are you still alive?"

Lifting up one of the chains he says "I couldn't let anything in the city be used by those who don't respect there power, so I bound my soul to the city and sunk it into the ground"

Smiling you say "Well Nero I'm Mildred, kinda a pleasure to meet you"

Smiling for the first time since he appeared Nero says "Mildred? That's a strange name for someone so young, you know when I was alive I knew a Mildred"

Sigh, I guess your name can even make depressed ghosts smile.

"Okay Nero, can you let us through the doors"

His smile drops "I can only do that under one condition"

"What would that be?" you ask

Sighing he says "That whole event business was caused because a powerful daemon was summoned to this realm, I've trapped him in the ruins, if I open those doors he will escape. If you can defeat him you can have ever thing in the city"

Staring at him for a little bit you say "You want us, a random group of adventurers, to defeat the daemon that caused the event?"

Nero nods his head "Yep"

"By our selves?"

"Yep"

Rubbing your head you say "Could you give us a little more information?"

Nero tilts his head a little bit in confusion "What else can I say?"

Sighing you say "I don't know, maybe a way to kill it?"

"You must hit it's weak point, that's the only way to defeat it. Now I must go, if you accept touch the lock, if not leave"

Slowly you see Nero begins to fade, before he goes you yell "Wait, if you know how to kill it why didn't you do it"

Giving you a sad smile he says "Because of my weak point" with that he disappears leaving your group in silence.

Looking at you Tam says "What do we do?"

Walking over to the lock you say "Well, getting into the city is what we came for, killing one daemon is a small price to pay for that"

Resting your hand gently on the lock it glows blue until it's too bright too look at and suddenly it's gone.

Pushing on the heavy doors they slide open to reveal a normal looking city.

As your group looks around Sasha says "You know, this doesn't look much like ruins"

Randolf clears his throat, it seems he's calmed down from his fit "Any ways we need to clear out whatever ancient evil's locked down here. From old texts I read through the most important places to look are the market district, the military district, and the palace."

With an overall agreement your party heads west, walking through the streets everything is oddly silent.

Holding your arm Tam says "I'll never been in such a quite city before, it's really creeping me out"

Sasha nods in agreement "It just an't right"

Soon the buildings change from homes and the occasional shop to large stone buildings with tall towers dotting the streets.

Looking around Randolf says "This looks like a military district if I've ever seen one, where should we start looking?"

Pointing to the nearest building you say "We should probably start there"

Moving into the building your group looks around, from what you can see this was a mess hall of some sort. Even though no ones been here for centuries the room looks like it's just been cleaned. After a bit of searching you find nothing but suddenly you hear the noise of door opening, looking over to where the noise came from you see a tall red creature walk in carrying a sword.

As the creature sees your group it stops in it's tracks and looks at you. Looking at each other for a few moments the creature lifts it's sword and charges but before it can do anything Sasha tackles it, while it's down she pulls out a dagger and stabs it. The creature struggles for a bit and then stops moving.

As she stands up Tam asks "What was that?"

Spitting Sasha says "A daemon"

As your group leaves through the door the daemon came from you find yourself in a long hallway. It goes a striate line left to right.

Look down the hall way you don't see any different between the two directions.

Scratching his chin Randolf says "I think we should go right first"

Shaking her head Sasha says "Looks like we're going left" and walks in that direction

After your group hurries after her you soon come across a large room with different bits of armour and mechanical pieces hanging from the walls.

Looking around you ask "What is this place for?"

Resting her hand on piece of armour Sasha says "This stuff is too big for a person, this was probably where they armed the horses for war.

Suddenly you hear a crash coming from the other side the room. Creeping over to the noise your party sees four daemons standing around, one of them is on the floor while another stands over it yelling in an ugly sounding language.

Smiling Randolf says "Right doesn't sound too bad does it now huh?"

Giving him a blank stare Sasha says "I know for sure whatever is down that hall way is worse, and if it's worst than four daemons I don't want to see it"

I think I should clear up a few things, the Church is the ruling body for most thing like education, the justice system, and magic. The Church deemed all forms of magic heretical except light magic (holy magic). This is the only type of magic you can be educated in and use without ending up being hunted down. It's not the fact that you're a magic user that gets you burnt at the stake but rather the type of magic you use/not obeying the church. Weston was educated in light magic but didn't join the church because it "wasn't his scene". Since the church only uses light magic the defences were set to detect it and treat it as the enemy.

Moving around the daemons your group gets into position. While the three daemons are focused on the one in the middle they don't notice you until it's too late. Rushing out of the shadows your party converges on them.

Coming in with a downward slash Sasha slices the first daemon in half, Randolf shield bashes the second one to the ground and delivers a quick jab to it's head, Deniece converges on the last one piercing it's body with her front two legs and rips it's body in half. In a blink of the eye the three daemons are no more, before the last daemon can do anything you and the rest of people dog pile on it and hold it down.

It thrashes back and forth yelling in the ugly language you heard before.

As the thing squirms on the ground you and Jodie grabs it's arms, lifting it to it's feet. As it struggles against you Sasha walks in front of it says "Now I'm going to ask some questions and you're going to answer, okay?"

The creature stops thrashing and stares at her, it says something in the ugly language.

Sasha punches it in the gut, making it double over and says "I'm sorry, could you repeat that in english?"

Coughing a little it looks up and says "I don't have to answer to you bitch"

Sighing Sasha says "Looks like we wont be getting any information out of you"

Reaching back with her sword she's about to finish it off when Weston grabs her arm "Wait, I might be able to get what we want"

Looking at him very confused Sasha says "You? How?"

Smiling Weston says "Just trust me"

As Sasha backs off Weston takes her place "Okay, that wasn't very nice. I just saved your life you're going to behave now"

The daemon spits at him "Fuck you"

Sighing Weston reaches into his bag and pulls out a cross. "So, how many more of you are there?"

Staring at the cross uneasily the daemon says "I- I don't know and even if I didn't I wouldn't tell you, you sack of-"

Before it can finish Weston smacks it in the face with the cross causing it to yelp in pain "Tell me"

"No" This gets it a few more smacks. After a few more times of asking and a few more smacks the daemon breaks.

"Okay, okay, there should only be around ten more of us in the building and our mistress as well"

Looking at it Weston raises the cross "Are you lying?"

Whimpering it says "No, please stop"

Smiling Weston says "Good, okay guys ask anything you want"

Shaking his head the daemon says "No, lady Pran serves under him"

"Does she have any relation to Nero?"

Giving you a confused look it says "Nero, that old fool? Why would lady Pran have any relation to him?"

"Okay, do you know the boss daemons weakness?"

It shakes it's head "No, sorry"

"Do you know where the head daemon is?"

"He should be in his thrown room at the palace."

Rubbing your chin you say "Okay, more personal question, why were you being beat up?"

Smiling it says "Oh, we always fight, no one really gives a crap around here and I was tried of Glorgs shit, of course the douche brought his goons with him."

After your party asks him a few more questions Randolf says "Well that's about it, we should finish him off and go"

Panicking the daemon says "Wait, I may be a daemon but I prefer if I didn't get a sword shoved through my face. I can guide you around"

Scratching his head Randolf says "Where?"

Sighing you say "Okay, guess we're going to Pran then"

Before you leave the room Sasha says "Wait" and rushes over the wall. Coming back with some rope she ties a leash around the daemon, pulling it tight.

The daemon smiles and says "That's right baby, pull it tighter"

As Sasha blushes furiously she kicks him forwards and tells him to shut up. Entering the hall way you see nothing has changed.

"Lady Pran should be at the other end of the hall"

Giving Randolf a look Sasha says "Going right isn't so bad huh?"

As you walk down the hall in silence your foot steps are the only things you can hear.

Looking forwards the daemon says "Kinda of, when we're killed our essence goes back to hell but we don't reform unless someone does it for you. If you don't make a smooth transition from earth to hell you just become a cloud so unless you're important no one's going to give a shit. A low level like me for example, if I was killed here I would spend hundreds of years floating around until some boss daemon decided he needed more minions"

"oh.."

Skipping next to the daemon Lilith says "Hey, I have a question Mr. daemon, do you have a skeleton?"

Looking at her the daemon says "Okay, that's a little creepy and yes I do"

After walking for a little more you come across a large double door. "This should be it, Lady Pran is on the other side. Now if you excuse me..."

As he tries to walk away Sasha pulls him back "You're not going anywhere"

Pouting a little he says "Aw, lady Pran's going to kill me..."

Snorting Sasha says "Come on, there's no way the daemon in charge over here hasn't heard us by now, we should just kick down the door"

As they continue to bicker you sigh "Why don't we just knock?"

Smiling the daemon say "Well I'm glad to see one of you has manners" Turning to face the door he taps his fist against it creating loud echoes.

From behind the door you hear a women's voice say "Who is it?"

Clearing his throat the daemon says "It's me lady Pran, I've brought guests"

You hear a screech of happiness "Bring them in"

Before you enter the daemon turns to you "Lady Pran's a nice person, it's just she's a little..... strange so could you please be kind to her?"

Entering the room you see a large room with armour and weapons scattered about, a thrown style chair sits in the middle of the piles of loot with an attractive woman sitting on it. The women looks like a normal person besides the horns and tail. Her blond hair reaches past her shoulders and her brown eyes seem to stare into you. She's wearing the sluttest outfit you've ever seen and wears a grin of excitement.

Smiling at you Pran says "How can I help you?"

Shuffling your feet a little you say "We were hoping to get a few things from you to use against the boss daemon"

Grinning even bigger Pran says "So you were looking for loot huh? Well you know Milly, you only get loot from trading or killing monsters right, and unless you're going to kill me you're gonna have to trade something. But I don't see anything you might have that I want other than...." Suddenly she's gone and you hear her voice from behind your group, turning around you see her stroking Weston's chin "This one. You know, I've never done it with priest before"

As Weston turns beat red Deniece slaps Prans hand away "And you never will"

Backing off Pran smiles "Well, I didn't know you were a leg man Mr. priest, have you already had a ride on the Drider express?"

It's Deniece's turn to turn red as she says "He has not"

Laughing she teleports back to her chair "Unless you want to give me his soul you have to fight me"

Clearing your throat you say "Sorry I can't give you that so I guess we're going to have to fight"

Laughing again Pran says "Actually I don't fight fight, I get other people to do that"

From various doors around the room ten daemons walk out and surround you.

Smiling your daemon tries to join them but is pushed back "Hey, what's the matter?"

Waging her finger Pran says "Sorry Honey, you switched sides, no backies"

Floating up Pran looks down at you "Oh, by the way before we get started I have one thing to say, the game"

As your group pulls out there weapons you hear Randolf grumble "God damn, I lasted 10 years"

Lifting your hand you let lose a lightning bolt that arks into one of the daemons. As it flies backwards into the world you hear Pran giggle "Good job Milly but you're going to have to try harder than that"

Looking back you see the daemon you hit stand back up and grunt, charging forwards it rushes into Randolf as he tries to hold back another daemon. Looking around you see that the rest of your team is having a hard time holding off the daemons.

Reaching into your bag you pull out your scroll of thunderstorm. As you pour magic into it and chant you hear Pran in the back say "What's that"

Standing up your eyes glow a dark shade of grey and you raise your hand to the sky. A sudden bolt of energy leaves your hands and a small cloud forms, soon the cloud grows huge and rain pours out of it.

Calling out to your group you yell "GET DOWN"

As your party hits the deck lightning strikes over head and you hear the screams of several daemons. After the rain subsides you look up to see the cloud has disappeared, looking around you see smoking corpses of most of the daemons with the rest of them moaning on the floor.

Pran floats in the air with her mouth open, as she tries to form words she eventually gets out "That- That's cheating. REDO, REDOOOOO"

Smiling you say "Sorry, no backies"

Crossing her arms she frowns "Fine, take what you like but I'm out of here"

Snapping her fingers Pran disappears in a cloud of smoke. Lowering your weapons you hear Weston say "Why can't we fight something normal for once"

I think that's it, I'll continue next time with looting.

I like the character interactions a lot. We've been a pretty passive character, don't attack the big spider acquire drider friend, and I like how we were even able to be civil around a boss just because we decided to knock, though it would've been nice to have had at least a chance at negotiation though.

Well I'm looking forward to it then. Yeah we don't really have anything all that valuable in our inventory right now, yet anyway, but I thought somebody might have something that would catch her eye, other than the monstergirl bait. But I guess in retrospect anything she would've wanted would have been more valuable than a Thunderstorm scroll so we still came out ahead.
