The last thing you remember is finding an important clue. The first thing you remember is planning out what to do now.

Your name is Alice Lindon, and in a storage compartment of your arm, you have just finished analysing a ceramic butterfly knife, your actions revealing that the weapon has fingerprints matching to someone.

The problem is that the person the prints match has been dead for a year.

Hana Kanzaki, branch family main heiress, who one day tried to kill your beloved Ian Carter, and thus was supposedly killed by her own family.

Humans, such pathetic creatures. Your Ian is an outlier is a sea of madness and stupidity.

Your are now in the first class of the day listening to Mrs. Lilith Hern's lecture, but your mind is busy planning what you intend to do once you have time during the free periods.

You idly scan the knife again, trying to identify anything that would indicate that you made a mistake.
>>
1d100 for general voting, best roll out of five is chosen.

Combat is 1d100 with modifiers for how many shots you fire in combat. Best out of three roll is chosen.

Burst Fire and Full-Auto Fire attacks can be done multiple times in one action, but each attack after the first incurs a cumulative -10 penalty.

Body armour subtracts from total damage done per attack.

You can target multiple enemies in a single action. Roll 1d100+modifier for each target. Specify for each roll the target and the attack used.

Takedowns and Executions are 1d100-20 and a short paragraph describing the Takedown or Execution. Best out of three rolls is chosen, but I will pick which action description looks the best to me.

Reactor Charges are your healing mechanic. Expend a Reactor charge and roll 12d6. Reactor Charges stack, and are regained through Takedowns and Executions.

Stability is a measure of your Yandere psychological state. If you lose a certain amount, known as the Snap Limit, you Snap and enter a state of emotional hysteria and brief psychosis. Lose all your Stability, and you go Berserk, and will perform a violent action, often against your love interest.

Relationship is how strong your relationship with Ian Carter is. You have to keep your relationship as high as possible. If you drive the relationship down into negative numbers, Ian will reject you, and you will proceed to murder him and commit suicide.

Good luck.

You write down notes for the test tomorrow, but as you do, you begin planning.

You need to find clues, but you could also find out some information about Hana in order to identify possible future victims.

So what to do?

>Investigate the place you found the knife, there may be clues left behind.
>Speak to Ian about Hana.
>Speak to Midori about Hana.
>Speak to Mrs. Hern about Hana, she used to be in her class.
>>
>>31604694
>Speak to Mrs. Hern about Hana, She used to be in her class.
>>
>>31604694
>>Speak to Ian about Hana.
>>Speak to Midori about Hana.
>>Speak to Mrs. Hern about Hana, she used to be in her class.
Fulfilling our roll as the most social of the sisters.
>>
>>31604694
>Investigate the place you found the knife, there may be clues left behind.

Might find something we can actually ask the other peeps about.
>>
>>31604726
I think it's a very bad Idea for us to be around Midori alone at this point in this point in time, at least until we come to sort of understanding with her.
>>
>>31604694
>Speak to Mrs. Hern about Hana, she used to be in her class.
>Investigate the place you found the knife, there may be clues left behind.

I'm unsure about
>Speak to Ian about Hana.
It is something he'd want to know about, but disposing of her before he even finds out she's still alive would be the best outcome.
>>
>>31604694
>Speak to Mrs. Hern about Hana, she used to be in her class.
>Speak to Ian about Hana.
>Speak to Midori about Hana.
In this order.
>>
>>31604694
>Speak to Mrs. Hern about Hana, she used to be in her class.
>>
>>31604694
I keep getting the feeling Hana did full body surgery and now looks different. That or someone is fucking with us.

Anyway the biggest thing to do is.
>Speak to Mrs. Hern about Hana, she used to be in her class.
>Investigate the place you found the knife, there may be clues left behind.

We will want to possibly warn Ian eventually. Depending on how this goes. Mainly because he really should know his life is in danger. Another big danger is this Hana girl killing Midori which would make it look like we did unless we where like right there with Ian when it happened.
>>
>>31604885
Which means, as much as it pains us, we have to also protect Midori as well.

Which is good for us in the long run because it will give us big points with Ian, and maybe Midori will back down a bit when she sees the lengths we go to protect her.
>>
>>31604767
Talk with Ian, then talk with Midori WITH Ian. Then talk with Teach with both of them.
>>
>>31604954
Now that seems like a good idea
>>
>>31604932
Or it means if we mention it and she dies we can blame it on Hana.
>>
>>31604665

Though guys how will we explain this away? Why do we know it's Kanzaki? Ian we can explain easy enough but the others?
>>
>>31605036
Our dad was a private investigator, we know stuff.
>>
>>31604998
Okay, I'm not going to say that we shouldn't kill Midori. But I am going to say that we should leave killing her as a last resort if she is absolutely unwilling to cooperate with us no matter how hard we try to get along with her. Us trying to get along with her will give us major points with Ian, because none of his exes tried to get along with her, so by at least trying to get along with her, we prove that we are better than his exes. Plus, if he sees that Midori is not being cooperative with us at all, he will more than likely either call her out on it or dump her, which if she is as crazy as us, will make her snap, and will give us a valid reason to kill her.

So basically, there is no long term downside to trying to get along with Midori. If she causes us to lose stability due to her behavior, we can just run simulations of us killing her to get it back.
>>
>>31605145
>Our dad was a private investigator,

Did I miss something here?
>>
>>31605145
we said that we were kidnapped and our parent's think we're dead, that won't fly. Maybe we can bring up Ian's Uncle as a source. say we found the knife, gave it to him to process, and he found Kanzaki's fingerprints on it
>>
>>31605036
Just ask for general stuffs? Something like strange behaviors, past friends and/or enemies, her favorite hanging spot, etc. etc.
>>
>>31605173
Not enough time has passed for that to be plausible, especially since we were/are in class.

>Speak to Mrs. Hern about Hana, she used to be in her class.

When the class ends, you approach Mrs. Hern, "Ara~ Good morning Alice, how can I help you?"

You decide to do this quickly, "What can you tell me about Hana Kanzaki?"

Mrs. Hern's expression goes cold as she checks the area to see that the students have all left, before she grips your arm, "Be very careful asking about that Alice, Soichiro Kanzaki has very sensitive ears."

She takes out a small device and activates it, "Jamming unit, purchased it from a military surplus sale," she turns to you, "Hana was a good girl, but like you and me, she was intense, very much so when it came to relationships. She scared off boys who were interested in her."

"Until Ian came along," you state.

Mrs. Hern nods, "Ian is such a darling child, he stuck with her and soon enough Hana was taking him everywhere. But..."

She looks around, "To love like we do, it takes a measured approach, too much and you risk scaring them away. Hana did too much, too fast, and so Ian tried to get her to calm down, to ease off."

"And she thought she was being rejected?" You ask, noting the implied advice on how to act in terms of your relationship with Ian.

Mrs. Hern nods, "Yes, and the rest you can find on public record as her attempt was in front of the media, and it was a public humiliation to Soichiro and the other Kanzaki family elders."

She looks at you, "Why are you asking?"

You return her gaze steadily, "The murder weapon, I got curious about it and found out that Hana Kanzaki used one exclusively, with the same custom proportions. I think there's some kind of killer using her as a way to hurt the Kanzaki family."

Mrs. Hern nods, "It would make sense," she smiles at you, "You're very clever Alice~"

You shrug, "So why should I be careful?"

Mrs. Hern's expression falls, "Soichiro has many ears, talk of his disgraced daughter could very well mean being taken before him, and...convinced not to speak or investigate her."

(Cont.)
>>
>>31605325

You can speak to people later, right now you need to check out the area where you found the knife before the trail gets cold.

You make your way through the hallways until you reach the broken door and open it.

You activate your forensic routines and begin searching.

You hit paydirt. Your forensic routines and systems isolate a trail of dried and steadily decaying liquid.

You rub a finger on one invisible stain, tactile scanners giving you a name according to your libraries.

DTp-901a, an active bio-restorer used in the revitalisation of necrotic tissue. It's expensive and needs to be circulated constantly in the affected regions for it to work.

But the steady dripping trail you see indicates that whoever left the trail has a large amount of the substance in their body and their suffering from the most common side-effect; weak skin.

It isn't dangerous, but their skin tends to split open and cause surface deposits of the chemical to leak out.

It's why patients being treated with the chemical are not allowed to move.

>Follow the trail, see where it ends.

You need to see where this goes, so you engage your optical camouflage and stealth systems and begin pursuing the trail.

You follow it through darkened hallways, a legacy of when the school had a larger student base due to the high demand for trained workers.

You move quieter than a mouse, actively hunting for any further signs of the being that left the trail.

The trail leads you outside, and then stops at a large pool of dried liquid.

You kneel and check the pool to find tiny fractures in the concrete, stress from a heavy impact.

Or a powerful jump. The fractures are near symmetrical.

You head to the barrier fence and look out at the empty land that was going to be used for mass-housing.

Optical camo's many fringe benefits include visual lensing capability, allowing far greater zoom levels than otherwise possible, with exceptional detail.

And that's how you find it, a depression in the dirt, showing the landing site of the jump. From start point, that indicates that the legs are either fully robotic or heavily reinforced cybernetics.

In any case, it's all custom-built work.

>Elise, are you there?

Always, dear sister, and you have a knack for picking the right time to distract someone.

The way she stresses the word 'distract' makes you blush, especially as she lets you hear exactly what you're distracting her from.

"I need you to find out what you can about recent purchases or thefts of DTp-901a, and forensic appearences of a ceramic butterfly knife with Japanese Lilies."

Elise is silent for a long moment, "Alice, I think you should head back to class."

You pause in preparing to jump, "What? What are you-"

Go. Back. To. Class!

You flinch at the force of her voice in your mind, "But-"

GO!

Intimidated, you turn and head back to class.

What is going on here?

The next set of classes begin and you think about what happened with Elise while listening to Mister Kruschev's math lesson.

Elise...hesitated. She was scared. She knew something already, and she was scared...for you.

Why?

You go through the math problems easily, keeping your hand lowered since you've proven yourself a 'genius' at maths.

But the problem of Elise's fear still gnaws at you.

>Leave it for now, go be with Ian at lunch.
>Go find your friends, maybe they know something?

>Go find your friends, maybe they know something?

You find your friends seated at a table and are immediately waved over. Smiling, you take a seat with them and Lisa gets straight to the point, "I heard you went psycho on the new girl."

You blush, that was not your best moment, "I...have a...problem with jealousy."

"I'll say!" Sio proclaims, "I heard you bruised her neck and choked her!"

You start to look and feel rather miserable, "I...actually did choke her slightly, I was holding her too tightly."

Jane slaps Sio on the back of her head, "Don't try and make her feel bad Sio," she looks at you, "well, you apologised at least. I don't think you need to worry though, I can tell that Ian only has eyes for you."

You feel better at hearing that. And now...

You inhale slightly, "What do you know about Hana Kanzaki?"

The table goes silent and you study them with our Kinesics.

Fear, all of them want to tell you something, but they're afraid of something, something that is causing them to look around in fear.

You've run into a brick wall, and you give a hasty apology before finishing lunch.

You need to find a way to get answers.
