The general consensus is my wizment is probably a worse person than the succubus.

Depends on what the power level of familiars generally is.

If people generally get housecats, it's a bit much to get a full sized humanoid.

However, having a succubus contact who does things for you, if earned in good way, is fine regardless of the gender of anyone involved.

Since in my settings, succubi are not trapped into a particular sex, summoning one while female and not lesbian doesn't mean you have immunity to the devil's charms.

Meh. I've seen it done right and horribly wrong. However, the only way that I've seen a succubus familiar done right in recent years can be summarized in a quote from a certain geriatric archmage, who after weeks of people assuming he was a sexual deviant out of game shared this gem:

wont argue with that, but thats kind of every MC ever in anything, especially LNs though, pretty much every anime, ln, whatever reduces the women around the mc to his sluts and rarely pays attention to them except with how they relate to the mc, and all the men will invariably be joke characters that are bros but don't get any. its a disgusting formula, and the only reason I really enjoyed SAO is because its like .hack but without the suck of the ending.

didn't help that the whole thing just kind of ends right after it, but it seemed somewhat hopeful, like kiki and urara where going to hommando her memories back. but either way, the MC in this series could stand to be a little less retarded and a little more afraid of being collared, still, the beginning page where she pulls innefectually at it was really nice touch, but it never gets to the point where she cries about it.

cmon, you know its true, even in manga I like its true. Ranma 1/2 is my favorite, the mc is not a characterless hack and has motivations, opinions, flaws, etc, but still, the whole story is structured that same way, and it keeps going, from tenchi, to date a live, to familiar of zero to toratora, to shoukugan no shana (or at least the first half of it)

but she doesn't display anything like that in the beginning, she reacts with comedic fear (its played for laughs) avoids creo, but otherwise doesn't make a fuss over it. thats not really repressed love, at least not to me, I'd think her being afraid and crying as such would be a big factor still, but she would find herself unable to simply run from creo.

and the author originally writes nothing but yaoi anyway, he probably abandoned it because yuri wasn't doing it for her.
