General rules:

There is a 10 minute voting period after each post, and 5 minute voting period for combat votes. Non-contradictory votes will be combined as best as possible. There are occasional roles to keep things organic, but mostly it goes by voters choice. Unless specified otherwise, the best of 3 rolls is the result, and rolling high is good.

Write-ins for all votes or always welcome and encouraged. Put your own spin on it, suggest dialogue, add an addendum, or anything else. Just because some options specify to write in, doesn't mean that they aren't welcome for anything else. They may not all make it into the post or be altered to fit in, but I'll do my best to at least try to address the spirit of the write-in.

Very important or contentious votes may be redone in a stricter voting system as it comes up.

"We need to get out of here! Come on!" You grit your teeth. You're pretty sure you can win this, but think it's a safer option to run. You gather up as much camp supplies as you can, fighting off swarms of Pidgey as you go. The others do the same.

Vance tries to shout over the noise. You think it was something like, "We can come back for the tents." The others don't pack in their tents, so you guess that must be right.

Jeanine grabs the most since she doesn't need her arms free. The horde gets more intense and you feel a sharp beak jam into your rib. It might be bleeding. A claw scratches our arm. Time to go!

You retrieve Leviathan. She tosses a rag-dolling Pidgeotto away just before the beam connects. Your other hand aims a Pokeball at Zappy Dan. You could swear you see a flash of light come off him before the beam connects but you don't have time to think about it.

Robin and Vance finish returning their Pokemon too. You all run towards the mountain. You stumble over a branch in the darkness but keep your balance. The swarms keep on you. They're getting even more aggressive. One narrowly misses your eye.

A cave! "There! It's hard for even you to hear yourself shout. Everyone understands you though. You scramble to the entrance. You protect your face with one hand and swat at the bird Pokemon around you with the other as you run.

You, Robin, Jeanine, and Vance make it inside. Robin is in the lead, but she moves carefully in the darkness to avoid any accidents. It's not slow enough though. You reach out to try to catch her but it just throws you off balance, sending you down too. You only see Jeanine behind you for a second as she slips too.

Your skin scrapes on the rocks as you go down. You're lucky you have your high quality traveling clothes on still. You hear shouting behind you. It sounds like Vance. Your sliding comes to a stop when you just barely miss Robin. Jeanine slams into your back and Vance rams into her a second later.

Robin helps you up. Her thin sleepwear is torn up, and you see scratches all over her. Jeanine and Vance also look like they got a lot of scratches and bruises too, but nobody looks seriously hurt. Jeanine puts her overcoat around Robin, making the small redhead look even more petite and fragile in the larger clothing.

There's a large steel door to your right, and lights strung up over the cave ceiling leading to the left.

Everyone looks at the door, but nobody has any comments. You're all completely clueless about it.

You run to Robin first and open her new overcoat.

Robin immediately turns her signature red as you spread her arms. “K-Kat!”

You ignore that for now. “Are you OK?” She was wearing a flimsy nightie and lacy undergarments. They’re pretty torn up though. She has some scratches, but nothing that looks serious.

You check out Vance, lifting the back of his shirt where you see it’s worn down. He’ll have a nasty bruise, but he’ll be fine.

Next you run to Jeanine. “Woah there Kat. Slow down. I’m not drunk and this isn’t a ballpit.”

The two of you laugh, but Robin and Vance are too shy for anything other than forced and nervous chuckles.

You’re satisfied that everyone is physically fine. "What was with that flock of Pokemon?”

Vance shrugs. Jeanine thinks, but doesn’t come up with anything.

Robin looks really puzzled. “It’s not mating season. They aren’t even very territorial compared to other Flying type Pokemon. I-I think they were going after us for some reason.” She’s still a little shaken.

More silence. Everyone tries to think of something they might have done to set them off. There’s also the silent question of the massive steel door.

It’s new, modern looking. You’ve heard about ancient ruins and things like that in the caves of the region when you were a kid, but never paid much attention. You were more interested in the contents of your teachers wallet.

You knock on it and wait. Nothing happens. Yet.

Looking over the door, you see a hidden keypad on the side. There’s a panel on the bottom right you might be able to prop off. At the top of it are some strange squares indents about the size of a small plate that look like they might open up.

The door itself looks like it opens in the middle.

>Try to force it open. Vance and Jeanine can help

You and Robin walk to the keypad. "Do you think we can guess the code?"

Robin look apprehensive. She inspects the pad. What you need are clues. Jeanine peaks over your shoulders.

That's it! "Jeanine, do you have any makeup on you?"

Jeanine starts fishing through one of the bags she brought. "I don't know if I got it. Just a little blush. Why are you...OH! Mystery at Danger Lake Part Two!" You look at her confused. She clarifies. "Dixon Thrill used powder to find fingerprints in a keypad on one of the scenes after he confronts..." She looks down at her feet as everyone stares at her. "Nevermind, those are spoilers anyways."

Well, at least she understood the plan. Jeanine starts lightly applying it to the keypad.

While that's happening, you search over the panel and find that one of the screws can be worked off without a screwdriver. You start taking it off with you hand, giving you leverage to get the others off. It clangs to the ground.

Inside, you find a mess of wires and cables. It's mostly lost on you, but at least one looks familiar. It's the same jack you can use to plug a Pokedex into a computer.

"All done!" Jeanine brushes the last bit on the pad. That worked surprisingly well. You're able to clearly see a few commonly pressed keys.

There are a few tempting options. You figure first you’ll try to figure out the combo. How hard could it be? You walk passed Jeanine at the keypad and look up the numbers. You try a random combination based on where they’ve been pressed. After you press five of them, the door buzzes a negative sounding noise. You try again with a different order and get the noise again. You don’t seem to be succeeding here.

Jeanine elbows back in front of it. “Hey. Let me try.” She starts pushing buttons. Fine! You consider your other options while she does that. You could have Dan electrify the-

Suddenly the small indents at the top open and starts spraying a fine shimmering powder over the cave. Almost as soon as it makes contact with your skin and a tiny bit enters your lungs, you begin feeling drowsy. Sleep Powder? You pull your shirt up over the top of your head to try to stop it from touching you directly as much as possible and hold your breath. It only helps a little. Darkness still starts creeping in.

Everyone else is already swaying or crawling down to the ground. The alarm on Vance’s face turns slack as his body forcibly relaxes and his shoulders slump. Robin is already drifting off.

You don’t have much time before it overtakes you either. Your eyes and body feel so heavy.

You think of telling yourself to keep calm, but that's the opposite of what you need right now. You slap your own face and toss out Vlad. "Blow it away!"

Vlad rapdily pounds his wings in the air against the powder. He does a good job keeping it off you as you work. First you quickly and take a hair pin and hide it. That takes almost no time at all. You're used to hiding things at a moments notice.

It's still hard to keep your eyes open though. You see Vlad is slowing down. You're sure that you'd already be out without him.

You grab a hold of Robin and put her arm over your shoulder. You've got to get out of here. She was never this heavy before. You stumble. Move Kat! You try to lift her up again but your strength fades. You drag her a few inches then fall over.

Jeanine and Vance fall next to you. Vance's unconscious body pins Jeanine, who gradually stops trying to push him off and puts her energy to fighting the powder. She's fading too.

You can already feel sleep make your thoughts scrambled and everything comfortable. Vlad's wings slow as he drifts to the ground too in the narrow cave.

You shake your head. With your remaining strength, you lift open the overcoat Robin is wearing.

Jeanine mumbles "Seriously?" before she drifts off. You stuff two Pokeballs into Robin's bra and cover her back up.

OK. Now just take out another Pokeball and...your hands are so heavy. Everything is heavy. You can't believe how comfortable the cave floor is.

Goodnight.

[Way more consensus than I imagined]

[Devon and Zappy Dan win]

Strands of consciousness grip onto your mind and gently lift it awake. Someone just finished emptying your pockets. You’re being carried somewhere. They don’t feel or smell like one of your friends.

You don’t feel the weight of your Pokeballs at your waist, or any of your valuables. You do feel the hairpin, you think. You’re being jostled as the person carries you. You feel like the journey is coming to an end as he begins to slow down.

You take a risk and slip your hand into his pocket at the exact time he jostles you. It's all about timing. You grab what feels like an ID card and slip it into your sleeve. You're eyes were only open for a second, so you didn't see much, but you did see Vance being carried by at least two people wearing the same security uniforms you saw at the beach.

You're carefully put on the floor on your butt, and your arms are handcuffed behind your back. You feel a second pair of hands get cuffed to yours seconds after.

"Where are we?" Jeanine's voice says aloud. You guess that it's safe to open your eyes now, and you take it all in. There's a whole mess of computers and at least a dozen people in the distance moving around. Besides the security uniforms, you see some people in Team Imperium uniforms too.

"Is that Geno?" Robin says incredulously. She's sitting a few feet away on your right. Wait, you know that name. Geno is one of the Elite Four. One of the articles you were reading on abilities even quoted him. You can't see him from this angle though. "Who is he talking to?"

Your group is just in a corner of the room near a rock pillar. It makes sense that they wouldn't have a jail cell here.

The guards step back and look to Geno, waiting for him to come over. Nobody is paying attention to you for a few seconds at least.

You adjust and pull the hair pin out. Getting it into position is the hard part. Now you just need to pick.

You're tied to Jeanine, and Robin is tied to Vance. Since those two are facing the other way, they can't see Robin's chest for now. Robin surely knows what's up.

"Tell me everything you know on this guy. Quickly."

Robin can hear the urgency in your voice and doesn't waste time. She starts firing off facts about him as quickly as they come to mind. "G-Geno i-is the leader of the Elite Four. He runs the Prosapia corporation too. He's a noted scientist too. I don't know why he's with Team Imperium people. He uses Dragon types. He does a lot of philanthropy work. He hasn't had to battle anyone since the last Champion..." She trails off on that one. "Nine years ago. Nobody else even made it to him, let alone ever beat him."

You remember at the casino that you won Raistlin at, they said he was provided by the Prosapia Corporation.

As loud as you dare so the others hear, You whisper back, "Robin, are my Pokeballs still in your b-"

Your time runs out and your heart skips. Geno arrives to look you over, accompanied by Dr. Rienhorn, the scientist from the Kindleville museum and the Aquapolis caves.

Geno keeps his gaze on the four of you. "You told me they were spies." He ignores the guard saluting.

Rienhorn looks like he's about to say something back.

You speak up. “We don’t know anything! We were just running from a swarm of Pidgey. Look what they did to us!” You try to show off some scratches on your exposed skin as best as you can

Geno looks surprised. “Pidgey aren’t that aggressive. Hornbeam, you never mentioned swarms of Pokemon. To scare them off no doubt...but how did you manage that exactly?”

Hornbeam either doesn’t hear the question or ignores it. “As you can see, the security systems are non-lethal and effective, just like you ordered.”

Geno looks unimpressed. "Fine security systems, no doubt." He emphasizes the word 'systems' as he looks you over. "However, one still might make the argument that gassing a group of wandering trainers and taking them here is a rather nonsensical approach to security. They're teenagers, Hornbeam. They would have gotten bored and left after twenty minutes."

"Not these ones. Oh no. Especially her!" He points to you. "She ruined my reputation at the museum."

Geno yawns. "You ruined your own reputation. I was already paying you more than enough for your expertise."

Hornbeam ignores that. "She's the one who somehow found me in Aquapolis and sent the police in. Now she comes here? She is a spy!"

Geno sounds unconvinced. "Sent by whom, exactly?" He gives Vance and Robin especially close looks, like he's trying to place them.

A few drops of clear liquid flies from a syringe that Dr. Hornbeam produces from a drawer. "I humbly ask for permission to find out." His grin is cruel and excited. Even you have trouble keeping a calm expression when you see it.

"Then what do you propose we do? They've seen too much! We need to know what they know and who they're working for. You need to get your hands dirty, High Leader." He says the title with dripping mockery.

A few minutes pass before you think of a plan. Sitting there in silence is killing you. You've always been one to crave control of a situation.

If there's one that that's worked for you flawlessly, it's your ability to manipulate. You put on your most innocent little girl face and switch your voice up just the slightest to sound more vulnerable. "Is... is this because I wouldn't let you look up my skirt at the museum?"

Geno stops flipping through pages. He turns to Dr. Hornbeam. "That's stepping over the line, even for you."

Hornbeam slams his hands on his desk. "She's lying! Look at her face! Didn't that sound a little too perfect? I'm telling you she's a spy. You should have replaced Cliff when you had Ignis killed, he's always been against you. Against us!"

You know those names too! Ignis is the oldest Elite Four member, an Cliff is the newest. They were both mentioned in your pamphlet, but you don't know anything else about them.

The look on Geno's face is one of barely restrained fury. "Ignis was a great trainer! How dare you accuse me of that. She died peacefully. And Cliff knows nothing! He's an idealist, that's all. He might understand when he's older."

Hornbeam ignores the silent, restrained rage emanating from Geno. "Of course. It was just convenient timing that allowed you to replace her now. You don't 'do things that way.'"

Robin speaks up before things. "I didn't know she died, I'm sorry." Ignis's death must be recent.

Geno's glare focuses on Robin for a second before he goes back to reading his files. He's calmed down now.

Geno looks you in the eyes. His gaze reminds you of a dragon's. Oddly enough, you miss your flute. It was your go-to item for when Pokemon gave you that distrustful look.

"What's your name?"

Is this a test? An existentialist question? He saw the file, why would he ask?

"My name is Kat."

He lifts one eyebrow.

"Yes, I know it's not what's in my file." You keep eye contact, just like you did with Levi. "Names are like clothes. If one of them gets dirty or boring. I'll change it for a new one. I left that old name at the orphanage."

"You're a terrible spy, Kat." Was that a joke at Hornbeam, or an accusation? His tone is flat. He goes back to his file. "Vance. I've had quite a few complaints about how your sister runs her gym. I don't suppose replacing her as a gym leader sounds like something you'd be interested in?"

Vance turns his head. "What? You're crazy. Even if I wanted to run a gym, I'd never do that to her."

Geno moves on. "Jeanine, my guards were worried about not finding any Pokemon on you. Why is that? You have a license, and even a Pokedex." He flips to her file. His eyes grow wide for just a second. He leans down and looks her in the eyes. "I see. I'm sorry. I know at least you will understand my vision."

He flips his folder again. "Robin. This puts me in a difficult position. Tell me about your father."

"H-he's the gym leader in K-Kindleville." She keeps her eyes on Hornbeam. "F-fire types."

Geno turns around. "Then you haven't heard. It hasn't been officially announced yet, but he'll be taking the new vacancy among the Elite Four. You really should call to congratulate him." He turns back. "Unless perhaps, you're not speaking."

He's messing with everyone. You're getting sick of this.

You need to take control again. Keep him from getting in anybody's head by getting in his. "Please don't say Imperium is a cult that wants to drown the world in water or something".

Geno smirks. "Don't be ridiculous. What we're doing here is very benign. We're making Pokemon stronger. Better. Weeding out genetic faults, and insuring they live healthier, longer lives." He looks over his workers at their computers. "Genetic engineering has gotten a bad reputation from those who lack vision. There have been illegal operations in the past done for all the wrong reasons. It's been banned virtually everywhere. To what end? Do people not already simply breed two strong Pokemon together? What difference does it make if it's a daycare or a lab?"

You were expecting something much more insane, or grand. "That's it?"

Dr. Hornbeam smirks. "That's all you need to know." Geno doesn't see it, but Hornbeam is looking at him when he says that line.

You want to put Hornbeam off his game. "Big Shot Elite 4 I can understand, but that dweeb of a scientist?" You snort. "Did he get his degree in plagiarism? A group is as only strong as the weakest link, and I see quite the gap between you two..."

Vance speaks up. "Look, we don't want any trouble."

There's just one more quick motion you need to make to be able to escape your cuffs. "Can we go?" It's a very final question. You mentally prepare to spring into action depending on how he answers.

Geno turns back to you. "I don't see why not." Hornbeam looks incredulous. "Even if you go to the police, you have nothing to offer them. You wouldn't even know which specific parts of this are illegal. I can hide Hornbeam and the others and weather any investigation. Of course, it would slow things down for me." "What about the Pidgeys they were talking about? Another 'unexpected consequence' You still haven't told me how that was done, Doctor."

You don't know why, but you feel like it's appropriate. "I'm sorry about Ignis."

He looks to you and Robin. "Thank you both. She was a teacher to me. She and I didn't agree on many things though." He's opened up. He seems to trust you more now.

There's an uncomfortable silence. You and your friends are just about to leave.

You have a burning question though. "What motivated you to do this anyway?" Vance just wants too get out of here. Jeanine seems genuinely interested though. Robin looks a little interested too, but still clings behind you, bunching your shirt in her hand.

"No matter how hard my Altaria trains, she'll never be any stronger than she is now. She's limited by her genetics. I promised her we'd do everything we could to keep getting stronger together. For now we create new, stronger Pokemon. In the future though, we'll be able to apply what we've learned to those who are already born. We'll never stop getting stronger. No trainer should stop."

"So where does Team Imperium fit in?"

He looks out into the woods. "Have you ever heard of Team Dynasty?"

You, Jeanine, and Vance all look clueless. Robin nods in the affirmative. "They were an old gang that used to run wild. Mostly on the Eastern side of this region."

"We took that organization apart when we were young. Dismantled it bit by bit." He sighs. "Those were the days. We were on top of the world." He turns back to you. "Less than a year later, another gang took their place. We toppled them too. You can't end crime, or human greed, but you can direct it."

Vance looks very offended. "Direct it?"

"Statistically crime is down. I pay most of them out of my own pocket to do nothing." He sees the anger in Vance's face. "I don't enjoy what I do, but think. Isn't one crime worth it to guarantee two more don't happen?"

"Why does Team Imperium even need to steal Pokemon? You have a problem getting rid of them."

He sigh. "It's not that simple. You can't just give away dozens of the same Pokemon without raising questions. I don't want them to do that, but they often act on their own."

You tell him about how your starters were stolen. You ended up having to go out on your own and catch Devon. You don't show him Devon though. Your gaze only rests on Robin's artificial chest for a second.

"That's...unfortunate. But you have a strong bond with your Pokemon now. Would you want that to be different?"

You don't buy that reasoning. "Three Pokemon are undergoing tests right now to see how mentally healthy they are because of it. And what about Vance's dad? He was recently mugged and all the funds he'd scrimped and saved for years were stolen just because some shady businessman had a gambling problem. It was Imperium that he had to do the mugging. They've been stealing Pokemon! They almost stole ours!"

Vance steps forward, you let him tell the full story himself.

Geno is finally starting to look unsure of himself. "I haven't been keeping as tight of a watch on things. The majority of members have no idea who leads it. Overall though, crime is down from before."

Vance doesn't like that answer one bit. "It's easy to see it as statistics and numbers when you're not one of them!" Jeanine has to hold him. "I should-"

Something hits you. "Geno...where are you getting your test subjects for this experiment?"

Vance keeps his glare. "I'm sure you have a statistic that you can sleep with for that too."

"What happens if you drop dead Geno? You're building a dam higher and higher, and one day its going to burst."

There's more silence. He doesn't turn around. He just stands there thinking for a good long while.

"...I expect to see you at the championships." He walks back into the darkness, leaving you and your friends outside.

You all start walking back to camp. Nobody says anything as the night fully ends and day breaks. You're all exhausted in every way.

The four of you walk back to camp to find both tents with holes in them. The perfect start to what's sure to be an exhausting day.

Vance and Robin pack their tents up anyway. Robin fakes a smile to you. "We can probably sew this up." You don't know enough about this sort of thing to say for sure, but you doubt it.

You appreciate her effort at lightening things up though. "Aren't we forgetting something?" You reach down Robin's shirt and collect your Pokeballs. Slowly. Her shy wiggling only makes it more fun. Vance and Jeanine stop what they're doing and try not to laugh as Robin let's out an adorable protesting noise. She giggles as you tickle her, then everyone else joins in a small shared laugh.

You reflect that if things went sour in there, at least you were a little prepared. You also take out the card you swiped. It's a fairly high level security card from what you can tell. You never know when it'll come in handy.

Jeanine comes around after cleaning some things up. "Well, besides the tents and a few small things, we're in good shape."

First thing's first. You take out your Pokemon. You shudder to think what Hornbeam could have done to any of them. He didn't really have time, but you want your peace of mind.

You start tossing them out, one at a time. Devon licks your face immediately and almost knocks you over. Vlad is asleep when he comes out. You give him an Awakening since you have a lot, and he springs to life flying in circles. He seems fine too. Leviathan gives a might roar on being released. When she sees she isn't getting trained or battling, she starts looking disinterested and almost wanders off before you can return her. Destiny looks excited to get out and get some attention. It has been awhile, hasn't it? You make sure to keep petting her when you take out Nibbles. He gives his much tinier, less intimidating version of Levi's roar. He starts sniffing around, probably interested in the feathers lying about.

Finally it's time for Zappy Dan. You toss out his Pokeball. Just as you were expecting, he starts evolving right there.

Jeanine, Robin, and Vance all stop to watch. The pulsing light starts increasing rapidly. Finally, there's one last big one that lights up the site.

When you uncover your eyes, you see a Magneton floating in front of you. Your both thrilled and confused about how it looks like there are three Zappy Dan's stuck together. You run over to hug him.

"Way to go! I'm so proud of you!"

Dan shows a little happiness through his usualy apathy. You let him go and he floats around, trying to get used to his new body.

You decide to start inspecting your stuff again. You go over each item carefully to make sure there's nothing weird going on. You're only halfway through before you notice more pulsating light.

It's coming from Zappy Dan! He's evolving again!

Robin runs over. "I-I don't know if you want to let him evolve again so quickly. Most Pokemon need time to adjust."

You mostly studied abilities recently. You haven't put much time in figuring out evolution. You don't have much time to make a choice "Will it cause any permanent issues? How can I stop it?"

Robin scrambles to give a quick informative answer. "It won't be permanent, but Dan will have a hard time adjusting. You just need to point the Pokedex at him and hit the button under your right thumb."

Doesn't look like it, he just won't know how his body works, he may have difficulty controlling his own strength, and he'll just be a little clumsy in general. I doubt it will lock out any moves.

This isn't a mechanic from the games. Magnezone, like many others that evolve under special (non-stone) circumstances, has no drawbacks. Learns the same moves, even at the same levels, but has better stats.

a feeling out process might be necessary yes but that just means more quality time with Dan as he gets used to his new digs.
>>
>>31151346
If anything, I'd think Magnezone would be easier to handle, given that it's just one structure instead of three.

You take out your Pokedex, aim carefully, but don't press the button. You watch as the light starts rapidly coming off of him until like before, there's one last big one. This time was even brighter than before. Robin doesn't approve or disapprove. You can see that she trusts your judgement on this.

Zappy Dan is now a Magnezone.

You walk over to him again. He's having trouble keeping balance and floats to the ground softly.

"Hey Dan. How are you feeling?" You read that Pokemon can have personality shifts when they evolve.

He looks up at you endearingly, then tries to float up again. He's struggling, but he manages it. You lead him around in some small circles to get him through the paces. He's slow, and he randomly floats off to one side or the other when he loses concentration, but he seems to be all there. You give him another hug. "You'll get the hang of it. I'm proud of you. You've done a lot in the last twenty four hours. I'm sure you're exhausted."

When you say that, he looks relieved and floats down to the ground again. He's pooped. Before evolving twice in a row, he fought off countless Pigdeys. You can't blame him. You return him to his ball so he can rest up and you can check up on him later.

You continue looking over your stuff. You go over every item, inspecting it in detail.

Everyone is getting a little impatient waiting for you. Jeanine finally says something. "I think you're being paranoid."

You put down the Pokeball you were inspecting. "You're probably right. Let's just go."

You put it away and pickup your bag. Just as your start pressing your shirt down, you feel a slight bump in the corner. You feel all around it until you pull out a tiny little electronic device.

If the situation were different, you'd be laughing at Jeanine's expression right now.

You make sure Jeanine can really see it, and stick out your tongue like a little kid. You have a plan. You need to find a wild Pokemon. You look around until you see a Pidgey. It must have stuck around from before. At least this one can make up for last night a little bit. You sneak up as close as you figure you can reasonably get. It's just pecking at the dirt, sitting around. From looking at it, it's probably one of the ones Dan or Levi knocked out last night.

You're feeling your stealth skills today. You're just in your element as you sneak up on the Pidgey. You deftly avoid leaves and twigs as you get right up to it. Even as it looks almost directly behind itself, you just shift quickly but silently out of the way before it sees you. You're able to gingerly attach the tracker to it without it noticing, then head back to your friends without it ever know you were there.

Vance, Robin, and Jeanine are waiting for you. You wiggle your fingers at her. "Magic hands!"

She crosses her arms. "Alright. I admit it. You were right and that was impressive."

Robin's face goes from admiring to worry. "What if there are more?"

"She's right," Vance says. "We have to check all of our stuff."

"We... need to be thorough." Robin adds. She looks like she wants to say something that she just.

You look around. You're still pretty out in the open here. You have something you want to do, but this isn't the place. "Robin's right."

You keep walking deeper into the forest. It's the quickest straight line between here and the path to Clairborough. You check your Pokeballs again and even the Pokedex's. Oddly enough, both yours and Robin's are working fine now.

Jeanine takes out her Pokedex. "I haven't used this forever."

Robin asks without thinking about it. "Why do you carry it then?"

Jeanine doesn't have an answer. She flicks it on and points it at a tree. "SudoWoodo, the Imitation Pokemon. This is actually a tree. This time."

"What?" Jeanine looks at her Pokedex. "Did my Pokedex just try to psych me out?"

You arrive at a much more secluded spot.

You clap your hands together. "Alright. Just like Robin suggested, everyone get naked."

Robin turns that shade of crimson you seem addicted to. "I-I-I didn't s-s-say that!" Her eyes are wide.

"You said to be thorough. What's more thorough than a strip search."

Jeanine pipes in. "I hate to say it, but that's actually a good idea Robin."

"I-it wasn't m-my idea!" Robin doesn't know what to do with her hands.

"Not like we haven't seen each other naked before," you say. "Robin just has a good excuse this time without getting us drunk."

"B-but!" Robin can't make a good argument.

Vance looks almost as shy. "So...how are we going to do this? You guys shower together. I'm the odd one out..." Even though he's clothes, he subtly covers his crotch.

Ugh. These people and their body issues! You don't even care that much at this point. This is actually serious, right?

You roll your eyes. "Let's just all do it together. We've already all seen everything. What's the big deal?"

Jeanine doesn't hesitate and shimmies out of her bottom. You take off your top. Robin and Vance hesitate.

"Vance, you have nothing to be ashamed of." You toss him a compliment. Guys like those kind, right?

You help Robin out of her skirt, then pull her shirt over her head. You sneak a quick nibble on her ear.

Before you know it, everyone is in their underwear. Robin covers her modest chest, but you and Jeanine don't bother. "One, two three," You all drop your last coverings.

All three girls look at Vance. He looks to Robin's eyes, then Jeanine, then yours. Slowly, he looks down.

"Someone's happy. So no complaints then, Vance?" You all laugh except for Vance. Robin's giggle is quiet and shy, but there.

There are no bugs on him. "Sorry!" You say on everyone's behalf. You can't blame the girls for staring. "Sorry. Not funny. You're clean Vance."

"I think his mind isn't clean at all." Robin mutters under her breath. Everyone still hears it. She apologizes to Vance over and over again as you all finish checking each other out."

You all start getting dressed. "Wait, couldn't we all have just search ourselves?"

Vance gives Robin and indignant look. "That's right!"

Jeanine laughs. "I'm just joking. I couldn't have checked my back. Down, big boy." He blushes.

It seems Jeanine is treating Vance the same way you're treating Robin.

It was a good distraction from the events of the day. You look over Vance's face to make sure you guys didn't cross any lines, but he seems fine. You give him a friendly punch in the arm and he gives you a friendly smile. You're cool.

I'd honestly forgotten there was an underlying plot (no offense), so it's good to be reminded. I assume we'll be seeing more fallout from the eugenics program, then? Team Imperium steals the superpowered mon and tries to conquer the region, maybe?

As for the lewd, play it by ear and follow the votes. Just remember that you're within rights to quash it if it gets too far out of hand.
