Looter fighting shop owner from last thread. here's a condensed version of my story while we wait for OP to end his.Context: I live in south america, argentina to be more precise. Lootings started after police went on strike. Yes, you read that right, police went on strike. My family owns a deli, and a warehouse where we store our stock. Around 10 minutes after hearing the news, our phones start ringing and we're told there are looters trying to break into both. My dad grabs a pistol and leaves for the warehouse, I snap my mom out of a panic and we drive over to the deli.My dad calls us before we arrive, tells us that the warehouse is safe, and people from the block are banding together and defending the buildings looters are trying to break into. Same thing's happening when we get to our deli, we see other shop owners driving looters away from the block. I decide at this point that since they defended my store, I will not allow a single thing to be looted from this block, and so we round up and stand in front of our stores. This works for around 10 minutes until a car pulls up and the guy in the companion seat starts shooting at us with a revolver. I still remember exactly where every bullet hit, first one went into the water on the street in front of us, second one hit the concrete floor around three feet away from us, third one whizzes past my head, if I hadn't moved it after the second shot, it would have hit me.We all take cover, the car drives away, we decide staying on the streets is retarded and move instead to the roofs of our shops, we've got around 20 people including my mom and I on the roof our our deli.We decide to play it smart, we fill some buckets with rocks and carry them up with us, whenever we see looters coming up, we hide behind the sign that adorns the entire border of the roof, and as soon as they get off their motorcycles/cars we pelt them with stones and insults. We have guns and molotov cocktails at arms reach, just in case.cont.
