Hey guys, sorry about yesterday. We had a 6.5 earthquake the day before and I had no net till lastnight
>>
Euphry had a party in your backyard, did she?

Glad you're OK
>>
>>30931645
All's well that ends well
>>
So, where were we... finished the meeting with Okaba and Aura. aura took Lyann to the gym and Okaba went to finish mapping BL's manor.

***

Want to go check on Lyann at the gym, call to check on Mako, or do some business?

Biz. What fun does Aritsu have lined up for us today?
>>
>>30931879

Aritsu: "MTV's new programming schedule is here, sir. It looks like they have cut down on reality and game shows to just 2 hours a day, continuing the most popular ones, and the rest of the day will once again be dedicated to music, with advertising randomly before videos."

You inspect the schedule... they are lacking a proper animator and commentator for now.
>>
>>30931945
Do we know any good animators and commentators? Also, I'm thinking of having a regular show where fans vote on the opnet for a song, then Flux plays it at the end of the week.

Oooh, that's a really good idea, having the fans vote will keep the heat buring.

As for an animator, hmmm.

Won't that cause problems with copyrights? unless you are thinking of old songs.

***

Aritsu: "Well, I believe miss Bella Avdeyeva made a comment about how she had too much time since Flux already recorded their next 5 albums. It may be a charm point to have her as commentator as long as we get a smart camera crew and edit the footage before it airs."

Stella and Mako also have agendas they would like to push, and Euphry would be fun on her own right. Aura already is busy with her show and the XWF. Lyann would do well but only if she's with Mako.
>>
>>30932042
Bella would work. But yeah, assuming its either public domain or license-able for a reasonable price.
>>
>>30932025

If it's CG we need, we could see if someone from the game's Dev Team wants a job on the side?
>>
>>30932042
Ohh, I misread what he wrote, I thought they'd be voting on which Flux song to play.

Granted with the sheer diversity of the band, and with Alex's insane work ethic, there's a suprising amount of diversity in that.

Aritsu: "Well, miss Mako could do for Asia's MTV network. An advantage of the girls coming from all over is that they each have already a following in their home grounds. Aleksander could do America having them all as guests at one time or another, if he's interested on it."
>>
>>30932210
Guys, guys, guys, what if Aleksander could make clones? With his work ethic, all the work everwhere would be done. All of it.

And then everyone was unemployed.
>>
>>30932331
>>30932331
Aritsu: "Of course, we could start a worldwide hunt for new talent specifically for the position?"

***
Oh wow, the net finally works again
>>
>>30932524
Put out an add.
>>
>>30932524
Sorry for posting so briefly today, the net looks like its hiccuping a lot

>>30932545
srsly?
>>
>>30932551
That is how it works 90% of the time.
>>
>>30932545

Ned Salter doesn't stoop to advertising for jobs.

If you're very good at what you do, Ned comes to you with a plan to make you both substantially richer
>>
>>30932551
Hmm, you too? My internet's been choppy today, and not just this website, either.

I'm leaning toward the ad, if only to avoid having to travel around the world to meet people.

We're fucking Ned Salter, stooping or not, we're pretty much a modern day Midas, anyone who's looking to make it big will come to us, and we can pretty much get the cream of the cream of the cream of the crop.

Where do you get recommendations to host for MTV? could it be that maybe perhaps somehow we may have possibly actually stepped into the shadow of the doubt of a chance for some liberal arts asshole to actually use his/her "Master In Pop Culture" degree? (yes, it's an actual thing)
>>
>>30932811
Oh god, I just had a chilling thought. The show The Apprentice, just imagine how stiff the competition would be if Ned Salter the Golden Boy himself decided to televise the hiring process.

It'd be like a cross between a The Apprentice and a Talent show, because no matter what your skill is, Ned Salter can take it, and turn you into a millionare.
>>
>>30932846
We're trying to reduce the reality show content though.
>>
>>30932811
Oh, and I'd like to take the add out. If we don't get at least 1 teragen spy I'll be disappointed.
>>
>>30932854
I know, just food for thought.
Unless you're a Silver League fighter, in which case, chances are everyone would forget about you.
>>
>>30932870
so sad

Alright, so then let Aritsu place an add and do some screening to shorten the list and then we select the actual people, or let MTV deal with the candidates?
>>
>>30932870
To be fair, the only one with a potential conflict was the chick with the unrealistic income expectations. We then came up with a reality show and got them so much money the conflict was over.
>>
>2XXX - World unanimously decides to abolish the death penalty.

Everyone on death row is given to Ned Salter as a Silver League fighter, weeks later, the most dangers criminals seem to vanished from the face of the earth.
>>
>>30932846

Make it a cross between those two and The Ultimate Fighter.

Elimination candidates have to fight for the right to stay in, in an XWF ring

>>30932865

Yeah, and that's what worries me. Ned's pretty damn good, but he'd still come up short against a Treat infiltration specialist

>>
>>30933644
anyway, this seems like it got needlessly complicated. Plus my internet died for like 20 minutes. Lets just let MTV select the hosts so we can go on to do stuff today?

Lets see... Flux goes to Playboy this evening so no Tai Chi or movies today. Want to visit the Quantum Labs, or just fast forward to the fight with Alpha Wolf? or chat with him and Brass before it?
>>
>>30933790

Honestly, now we've mentioned the Silver League fighters, I want Ned to do one token roll to make sure their XWF careers go OK; The idea being that Ned is managing them 'in the background', but devoting most of his efforts to Flux and his top fighters
>>
>>30933407

Ah, presenters/hype-merchants/shills

I think we'd be better off getting Flux members to pre-record generic 'link' segments that can be played as needed, TBH. Especially for those who have 'Almost Live' for their Mega-Social powers
>>
>>30934057
>>30933976
I really am sorry for posting so slowly but internet is not working 4/5th of the time for some reason.

All of them have Almost Live or an equivalent. Mako specially

The idea of having pre recorded little clips of Flux isint bad... suddenly I wonder if we can get Beavis and Butthead back

Also, the only silver fighter i really remember was Michael. You guys remember the names for the others?
>>
>>30933016
>Yeah, and that's what worries me. Ned's pretty damn good, but he'd still come up short against a Treat infiltration specialist
Not really. If they're a rookie ned won't be fooled, but if they're a top guy they'll either be very high taint, and thus unsuitable for the position, or be using that butterfly thing, which Ned as a Qui Meng specialist can detect.
>>
>>30934284
Im trying firefox instead of chrome now. Hopefully it wqs a browser issue

So, skip forward a little to the actual fight, meet with Brass and Almehk, or do something else?

Seeing Lyann work with Amehk is almost like a Disney movie. The petite superbeauty probably weights under 50kilos. Amehk's biceps probably weight more than that.

She kindly guides the massive, taint infested fighter through the basic movements, patiently letting him make mistakes and then simply asking him to try again, tho at some point you think he started making mistakes on purpose just to have her chide him.

You can't blame him, of course, since you know what it is like.

Brass: -as he has a beer with you while watching the two practice Tai Chi- "Worried, Ned?"

Ned: "No, of course not."

Brass: "Well, he used to be a ladies man. Maybe you should be" -he teases you

"He's got a ways to go before he's refined enough. He'd probably have better luck with Euphry or Stella... Different kinds of 'Wild Child'. Though, Mako aside, there's nobody in the band who couldn't spot a come-on from half a continent away, and react accordingly"

Brass: "Ah, that's the mousy little chinese girl, right? you introduced her, but she barely said anything."

Ned: "that would be her, yes. She's a very sweet person, really."

Brass: "Hope I didin't intimidate her"
>>
>>30935013

Ned: "She'll forgive you if you ask her to. She's just that kind of person."

Brass: "Must be fun."

Ned: "it is. How is the practice going for the fight tomorrow night?"

Brass: "We are almost done. He wanted to retire, but thanks to you, it will just be a passage into a new life, Ned. You have been a gift for old guys like us."
>>
>>30935147

"So.... Crazy idea, here, but how about a spot in the match where you *appear* to suplex the taint clean out of him? Like, he takes a big hit and comes out better looking?"
>>
we HAVE to watch this with Mako at some point
http://youtu.be/_pgmFAOgm5E

>>30935214
Brass: "That sounds fun, but taint is a very serious problem for the veterans, and we shouldnt make fun of it, Ned."

Mai: "Rob, your rest if over already. Since you are paying, let's make use of your time here, alright?"

Brass: "Yes ma'am."

Mai: "I got a new chair to watch movies from, Ned, make sure you bring some long ones this saturday, alright?"
>>
>>30931645
Hey King, I really like your quest, but its looking pretty dead at the moment. As you no doubt already know, I'm one of the more popular QMs on /tg/, so I was wondering if you wouldn't mind me writing a rape fic about Katja to help boost readership of your quest. Last time I joked about maybe doing this I got flamed pretty hard even though it still got me lots of readers, so I figured I would ask first this time!

Love your quest, by the way
>>
>>30935257
Maybe its slow because we dont know how to respond other than a "Can Do!"
>>
>>30935370
Sorry man, I don't follow any other quests. And yeah, I just cant seem to get a decent net today. It's been messing with the thread a lot.

Ned acknowledges Brass' point with a nod

"

Have we briefed Mai and Brass into the loop with the latest info on Bomber Lord yet? If not, then.... "Actually, Rob, if you could stand to have your break last a
little longer, there's something I need to talk to you both about"
>>
>>30935257
>Didn't completely miss today's thread!
"Will do. Should we stick with the classic (horror right?) selection, or should I throw an epic drama into the mix?"

>>
>>30935257
Also, are checking in on Okaba's findings before, after or during Brass' match?
>>
>>30935433
Ah, that sounds like a good point.
>>30935448
Heh, it's fine, man. Which quest do you run? what is it about? the only other quest i really know about was the civilization quest (the first)

*******
Ned: "We have found... well, I guess the word disturbing fits in perfectly in this case. We found disturbing news about Bomber Lord. You'll see..."

We tell them about his most unsavory business, about how he may be blackmailing or somehow forcing other novas to work with him on it, and about how Okaba is collecting information right now.

Mai: "Well, there goes my happy life, I guess. Want me to dissapear the guy?"

Ned: "The fact you ask that so casually is kind of scary, Mai."

Brass: "I think she was joking. Can we move the fight ahead some? we need to stop him fast. This is not just about getting some payback anymore. The man is a true criminal."
>>
>>30935571
"I need what info on his mansion before we push the fight up Brass. I want to get Aura and/or Okaba to attack the estate to free any girls and prevent any details and Intel from being destroyed during Bomber's fight.

During, not before or after his defeat and arrest."
>>
>>30935571
Text Adventure Quest. Its mostly about facefucking lamias, but there's some other stuff in there, too.
>>
>>30935571
"I think so. I imagine if I sit down and talk with Ric we can finesse the system so you two can have your match much sooner. Or you could just publicly call him out after this match."
>>
>>30935571

"If you're sure, Rob... I just don't want you going in unprepared. You probably noticed I've been slanting your training towards an eventual showdown with Bomber, but he's still a long-tine champ, and you've got to be tough for that. I don't want to risk you unnecessarily.

But if you want to pull the trigger... There is a way. You're still Gold Division champ until the tourney starts and you have ti surrender the belt. That means you still have Right Of Challenge. All I'll ask is that you don't cash in until I've got the Law Enforcement ducks in a row"
>>
>>30935571
"We will. We have most of the pieces in play to take him down after your title match, so your going to have to train your but off because I'm going to get that move up as much as I can. But one thing at a time, focus on winning your next match and leave me in charge of making sure we can successfully take Bomber down without collateral damage."

When Brass is out of earshot tell Mai that we might well need our help, but we want this done by the book, not off the books.
>>
>>30935613
time/days? and how do you get l-l-lewd stuff on /tg/? and please dont say "XXpm EST" because I dont know EST, my country fits neatly inside a single timezone, Just say "X hours before/after right now, please.
***

Brass: "I am now more worried than before. Team Tomorrow will be helping with the arrest, right? so will Okaba go into his house with the FBI and the police?"
>>
>>30935731
I'm running the next thread in just a few hours.
>>
>>30935731
"That hasn't been determined yet. Honestly I'd rather have him running overwatch given his abilities, but I can't make that decision without a better idea of what's whaling in Bomber's compound."

We really should talk to Okaba and Aura about bringing in more specialists from Utopia. I'd rather we over prepare than get caught with our pants down.
>>
>>30935748
Is it really just about facefucking serpent girls? cmon, it has to be more than that, surely? how long has it been running? this thread is somewhat new... relatively speaking

****

You assure Brass that yes, Okaba and Aura will go in with the DBI and the police, while T2M helps with Bomber Lord's arrest after the fight.

Mai: "Well, I'll be glad when it is all over."

Ned: "We all will."

Brass: "And after that?"

Ned: "Profit, my friends. Profit for everyone."

You get a phonecall from Okaba. He says he's found a basement deep under the manor, with thick walls, where he sees one of those tentacle girls you mentioned, but this one is purple.

Okaba: "Also, she is kept inside a sealed tank. It seems pretty clear to me that she is trapped there"

******
Stop here for today? I am using forefox now and it seems to be working better than chrome so hopefully tomorrow's thread will be faster/normal
>>
>>30935731
"I believe so. The FBI does have its Nova HRT after all."
Quick infodump for non Americans: the Federal Bureau of Investigations got its formidable reputation as an effective police organization by systematically eliminating kidnapping for money as a crime in the United States in the early 20th century. To this day, their Hostage Rescue Teams are arguably the best civilian tactical teams in the world. And kidnapping for money is still considered suicide.
>>
>>30935910
Oooh, that sounds really nice and useful for this situation.. Anyway guys, I'll go get lunch and come back later in case anyone wants to ask anything, as usual. See you tomorrow!
>>
>>30936027
See you then King, not knowing where you are let me say that I'm glad you came through the quake ok.
>>
>>30936027
Yeah, the FBI can assume primary responsibility for every case that could have crossed state lines, which as a practical matter means every kidnapping case ever.
>>
>>30936068
Chile. We get lots of those over here. See you later guys
>>
>>30935909
Great, extremely useful, now this'll put Lyann at ease and we can convince our nova 'surgeon' to turn states evidence on BL and the crime syndicates.

Remember, hen we hit the mansion, we also want to Hit the OPnet site Hard too, Take it down, Freeze All assets of linked bank accounts, and move on any server sites found with FBA/Interpol agents.
>>
>>30935829

Those guys have (with Ned's help) buffed the T2M image so much, I'm pretty sure they can call in whatever backup they need.
>>
>>30936435
I still wouldn't rule out Dawn being a victim of BL's mental mojo. So I don't think we should approach her unless we can isolated her and keep her from informing BL.

And don't forget we need to chase down the Triad/Syndicate connections if we ever want to find all of Bomber's victims.
