You burst out the door, surprising your staff. “At attention!” you yell, pointing your riding crop at them. They clack their heels and stand stiff as planks. You smile, giggling. “Just kidding, like my costume?”

Nancy grins. “You look amazing!” You cross your arms. You’re pretty much the spitting image of Patton in his famous speech in front of the giant American flag.

Lisa asks, “What’s with the riding crop?”

You look at it. “I dunno, it came with the costume. I admit, I’m not really into kinky stuff but I suppose it might be fun.” You look at your three uncostumed staff members. “You guys not going in costume?”

Lisa shakes her head, smirking. “Costumes are for children, no offense.”

“You couldn’t find a costume could you, Lisa.”

Lisa puffs her cheeks out, looking away. The silence damns her. Nancy says, “Well, I’m not going in costume either I’m afraid. But I will be in my Tankery Uniform, I’m going to be helping out at the Tankery Pavilion for the Halloween festival.”

Ramirez nods. “I didn’t want to wear a costume.”

“Of course.” You note the suspicious lack of Kitten. You all walk down a level then head on to Kitten’s dorm, then knock on the door. “Kitten! You got your costume on!”

Kitten’s voice comes out through the door. “… do I have to wear it?”

“Are you already wearing it?” you say.

“… Yes.”

“Then there’s no point, Kitten, come on out.”

After a minute, Kitten slowly unlocks the door and steps out in full Magical Girl Liberty regalia. Kitten has an intense red blush striking her cheeks. She looks at you expectantly. “How does it look?” she quietly asks.

We should start thinking about setting up the fashion show. It itself is a requirement for the Sewing Club Loyalty quest, but it will get them the work and money they also need.

This and the Freshman quest are the only ones we need to be proactive for. It seems, though, that we're a lot closer to finishing Needlepoint's, so we need to prioritize it.

Was trawling the recent threads for some information on our upcoming events and this is what I came up with:

October 31st (Thursday) Halloween, Tankery Practice

November 1st (Friday) is when the Skycraft demo takes place.

November 2nd (Saturday) is when you go camping with the Girl Scouts.

November 3rd (Sunday) Free

November 4th (Monday) +15k Funding, last day to wishlist/purchase

As you guys can see, the current week is almost complete jammed pack. I'd be suggesting we concentrate on the time sensitive quests like the debate, some canvassing for reelection support and teaching the delinquents for this week.

Theres also the issue of the exam and practice clash. It's usually standard practice for cancellation of such club activities so close to exams so we should consider cancelling the Nov 7th and maybe even the Nov 5th practice for our girls to study. It wont do for anyone to be suspended from the club due to poor grades after all.

You take a walk around the Pavilions, occasionally getting a compliment or two on your costume from a passing student. You always make sure to give a quick plug to the Sewing Club. They need it after all. You see all kinds of things ready, stuff like candy shops, candle making places, hall of mirrors, a tunnel of love, you can even see a Ferris wheel being set up way in the back.

Fairs, you got to love them.

“HAHA!” a puff of smoke blasts right in front of you, blinding you for a second. “Are you not thrilled by the Theatrics of Erika Weiss! President of the Lafayette Girls Academy Magician’s Club!?”

Meh. Magic’s always fun. You take a random card from the deck, then Erika proceeds to shuffle and shuffle the deck and requests of you to put the card back in. You do so, then she continues shuffling shuffling shuffling until finally she pulls out a random card. That’s not your card.

I spend some time in Barnes and Nobles looking up Japanese tanks, about Chi-Ha-Tan

Overall the Japanese developed a Doctrine focused on extreme fire discipline in which the 57mm and 47mm Chi-Ha (And possibly the Chi-He) will have to be at point blank range or on the sides or rear of Sherman tanks to be effective (Specifically the M4A3 model).

The Field Gun of the Ho-I is effective but since it will only use HE rounds, a knockout may have to be of similar ranges but it can cause mobility kills.

Their Tank Destroyers/Chi-To/Chi-nu are the only ones we need to worry about for our medium and heavies since they can fight within 500-1000 meter ranges by penetrating 60-90mm of armor.

I suggest once we get the field we're playing, We ask the TT Crew to camo our tanks.

Koala’s team, despite their rather solid line up is actually kind of mediocre. Probably a combination of lack of experience combined with a string of defeats in the last few years. Bombardments are fine, their HE shells are based on concussive power rather than shrapnel. The Judging computers can process concussion as pure shrapnel thusly.

As for AA mounts, it was stated in an earlier thread that they're not illegal, it's just common sense to not use them because it is stupidly dangerous to use them. Ongoing debates to making them illegal are going on.

The Sturmpanzer IV crashes into the back of your Sherman, sending you all flying around in the crew compartment. “Everyone okay?” you ask. Everyone all groans. That’s as good as it’ll get.
