Part 1: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/30476297/

The Story So Far: You are Tabitha, a student of Luna Girls’ Academy. An hour ago, you and your classmates were staying in the dorms during the holiday in order to prepare for a local festival. Then, all hell broke loose.
Without warning, a mysterious and insane Vampire trapped you and your friends within an impenetrable, invisible dome over the school, and soon you found yourself running for your life from former comrades warped and twisted into immortal bloodsuckers. Though the initial plan was to move quickly to the Club building and regroup with the student council, the plan went south and a bunch of your friends were turned, and you were forced to go it alone to the Junior’s building in order to look for survivors.
After incapacitating a former BFF by impaling her on a steel pole, you’ve managed to save the last two remaining Junior students, Celia and Amy.

Amy is a pretty, petite young girl with tasseled blonde hair, but her uniform has been torn to rags and she’s been scratched and bruised, and barely conscious at the moment. You’ve used some bandages to patch her up. Celia, meanwhile, has a more tidy blonde bob, but she’s in a dirty, dusty uniform and is clutching a long wooden stake she must have made from a broom. She’s shaking, but sane.

You are currently taking cover under the old stone maiden statue between the Main building and the Junior building. Your inventory is a small steel hammer and a first aid kit.

As far as you know, the Main building and Junior building are currently infested, and the only safe zone is the Club building. You can also see the Teacher dorms on the far side of the sports field, and the storage sheds next to them.

There are currently 24 humans and 11 Vampires. [24/11]

What’s the plan? Where to?

GAME RULES:
>Tabitha knows most students and will naturally know their names when conversing
>There are two End Conditions: If the Vampires turn all the students the closed space will open and they will be free. If the students can hold out for eight hours the closed space will open and they can flee.
>There are hidden weapon chests in the school, however you may need certain events or keys to open them. Look for clues on the chest itself.
>>
>>30829194
Head to the club building, hopefully they've got someone on lookout who will be able to let us in. I don't fancy running off to an unknown area with a pair of shell-shocked juniors in tow.
>>
>>30829194
>>30829238
Sounds like a plan.
>inb4 they don't let us in and we attract roaming vampires
>>
>>30829194
Club building is a-go!
>>
>>30829238
Sounds good. Especially since if that area is vampire-free we can search every nook and cranny for treasure chests/keys
>>
>>30829194
It's been so long.
Hopefully we can actually get into the safe area.

"Guys, we should go to the club building, the council and the others are holed up there."

You carefully help Amy up, and Celia supports her from the other side. Amy's arm presses against you and you notice she seems too warm. Maybe she's coming down with something? Either way, there's no time to dawdle.

Under the dark red light of the glowing illusory moon you and the two juniors stumble beneath electrical lights towards the Club building. Situated behind the Main building, you have to quietly move around the back in the shadows of the trees.

---
"Tabitha, do you think we can save the others?"
Celia's question hangs in the air. You're not sure how to answer.

You're currently crouched in the bushes, looking at the Club building. It's larger and taller than the main building due to the various oversized clubrooms, and features several entrances. There's a main entrance, an indoor court exit on the left, a screen door you think opens into the bottom-floor cooking room, and a side entrance. If memory serves you right, there's an entrance out the back as well.

Is it worth heading around the back to avoid detection? Or will you try another route? There doesn't seem to be a way of telling which doors are locked in the darkness.

What do you do?

>>30829287
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v_vSblcklfY I think this would be better?
>>
>>30829186
That OP image is deceptively lewd.
>>
>>30829296
Let's try the one out back first.
Also, given her poor state, try to make sure Amy hasn't been bitten. That would be very bad if we brought her inside (or alternatively, could prevent us from getting in).
>>
>>30829296
I think we should first try the entrance we can see clearly to avoid ambushes
>I think this would be better?
Nah, I think the first part has the most appropriate tone
>>
>>30829296
Hmm, we should try an entrance that isn't easy to see from the other buildings around. Don't want vampires watching us after all.
>>
>>30829296
Around back.
>>
>>30829296
Around back is probably best, if we get spotted it'll be bad news.
>>
>>30829319

You reach over and examine Amy with your hands. She whimpers softly at your touch, and winces in pain as you brush your fingers over her battered stomach. She's burning up, but despite the various bruises and cuts, you can't see any sign of pale flesh or bite marks. You guess she has a fever.

You briefly consider checking the front entances, but they're clearly visible from the Main building. Quieting Celia and Amy, you very carefully lift up your wounded charge and tiptoe along the dark far side of the rear courtyard, and round the edge to enter the back area of the Club building. Along the way you feel the strange forcefield dome surrounding the school- it's springy, like rubber, and pushes you away without much effort. Beyond it, everything seems kind of distorted, like a smeared film.

After a few stumbles, you reach the rear of the building. Above, the low blue moon beams down upon the back pathways, and you catch a glimpse of lights on the third floor. That big window in the middle is the student council room.

In front of you are three doors. There's the outdoor entrance to the woodworks room, the middle main entrance, and the nearest entrance which you guess is probably one of the art rooms. If you can't get an unlocked door on the first try the noise might draw attention.

Which door?
>>
>>30829414
If people inside are aware of vampire situation and made a barricade it's probably in the woodworks
Otherwise I think the main entrance is the open one
>>
>>30829414
Try the woodworks room.
>>
>>30829414
Woodworks sound fine to me.
>>
>>30829414
The main one would most likely be barricaded since it's, ya know, a main entrance.

Which leaves woodworks and art.

Unless the first floor isn't barricaded at all and they've just sealed off the staircases, which would probably be easier with their limited manpower, in which case the secondary doors might just be locked while the main one would be clear.

I'm going to go with the main door.
>>
>>30829447
>>30829460
>>30829478
>>30829490

You decide to go for the woodworks room. After lifting Amy to her feet one last time, you and Celia quickly move over to the small wooden door, and give the knob a turn.

It's not locked, but there's something on the inside, and you hit it within a few seconds of trying to push the door open. You then hear a gasp! Inside, someone kicks the door shut, and you and your charges fall backwards. "Ow!" you say, which causes a second gasp of surprise.

Then, someone inside opens the window.

It's Samantha. She bursts into a smile when she sees you and moves to open the door when Fiona from the track team grabs her hand. She's instantly suspicious, and you can't blame her.

"Can you guys prove you aren't tainted?" She lifts up a ruler menacingly.

Can you?
>>
>>30829547
Can we?
Other than some very lewd check-ups, that would waste time, I can't really think of any way we can...
>>
>>30829547
Ask her how we'd go about proving it; we're certainly more than willing to do whatever.
>>
>>30829547
Can they? How are we supposed to prove something like that?
>>
>>30829547
Our eyes aren't glowing red, we don't feel an insatiable hunger for the flesh of the living, and she's free to check us for bite marks.

But if she's asking if we have a convenient vampire-detecting scientific test, no, since as far as we know vampirism doesn't work like The Thing. Though that's probably for the best.
>>
>>30829547
Allow her to check our necks I guess? But that would be dangerous for her if we WERE vampires, so I dunno...
>>
>>30829547
Turn it around, ask if they've seen any vampires in the area, if they know anyone specific has been turned, etc. Don't make a move to enter yet.
>>
>>30829579
>>30829564
>>30829597

Fiona points at you.

"S-show me your eyes. The vampire monsters have red eyes, so come close to the window next to me where we can shine the light and see."

You carry Amy over with Celia and blink as a flashlight is shone into your eyes. Fiona gives you a look, but nods.

"You don't have any bites either, so I guess you're clear."

The door opens, and Samantha appears in the doorway, with a trashbin lid as a makeshift shield. She's looking frail.

>>30829614
>>30829601

"So wait, are we sure it's just eyes?" you ask, looking at them with a bit of caution. "How do we know you guy's aren't Vampires?"

"What?" Samantha says, "We're human! Just like you! Look!" With a flustered huff, your petite friend starts pulling her shirt off. You feel yourself blush as Sam waves her arms and legs around in the doorway, half-naked. Fiona just facepalms.

You guess she's clean.

Will you guy inside?
>>
>>30829631

go not guy*
>>
>>30829631
Ask to see their eyes clearly as well. Then enter afterwards.
>>
>>30829631
No, we will MAN inside
By the way don't actual vampires have normal eyes? Just pale skin, I reckon
>>
>>30829631
Ask how many they are in there.
>>
>>30829631
Let's go in.
>>
>>30829631
Yes, lets get inside and close this damn door.

Then we need to get our walking wounded somewhere where she can rest, and take stock of the situation.
>>
>>30829660
>>30829648
>>30829647

You ask to see Fiona's and Samantha's eyes. Fiona just leans up against the window, and Samantha kind of hurtfully walks up to you. They're both normal.

With Samantha's aid, you carry Amy inside and sit her on a desk. Fiona slams the door behind you and pushes a heavy table in front of it. The room smells of sawdust and is well-lit, full of equipment for cutting and building. Plenty of pointy things in here.

>>30829659

You turn to Fiona, who is giving you all a wide birth, even though Celia is looking rather lonely.
"How many are here?" you ask.
"The student council, some of your friends, the track team, and that rich princess girl up on the second floor. Anya's supposed to be here too."

Amy lies down, and Celia brushes her friends' forehead absentmindedly.

Okay, so there's three floors. The infirmary, student council room, records room and utility rooms are on the third floor, Serena is somewhere on the second floor, and the others are somewhere around here.

Where to?
>>
>>30829709
Investigate all the rooms thoroughly for chests. Maybe take someone with you that's not too busy
>>
>>30829709
Look around the building for the chests, yeah. Check up on 'rich princess girl' afterwards, Celia/Amy can stay here if they wish I guess.
>>
>>30829709
Get Amy to the infirmary, there should be some medicine there to help with her fever.

Then find the student council, I'm assuming they're the ones in charge, we should organize everyone not currently busing doing other things to search the building for these supposed chests.
>>
>>30829709
Make sure that no-one's on their own. Search the place.

"Amy, you alive?"
"Yeah..."
Celia smiles as her friend's eyes flicker open. You offer to help Amy to the infirmary, and Celia thanks you, saying she'll stay on the first floor with her wooden stake to help out.

Shouldering Amy with one arm, you carefully make your way out into the bottom floor corridor. At each end, desk barricades are visible, and you marvel at your classmates quickness in organizing a defense. Then...you spot a shiny oblong gold object underneath one of the piles of detritus. It's ornate and obviously not school property. However, you can't seem to pull it free of the barricade. Miffed, you continue to carry Amy.

Near the stairwell, a familiar voice calls out to you. Sitting on the steps is Ann, your tiny, twintailed and gruff classmate. She's holding a broom and gets up to help you.
"Tabby where have you been?!"
"Around." You shoot her a smile and give her a quick rundown of events. Ann gives you a skeptical look when you mention the lead Vampire, but helps you carry Amy up the stairs.

On the second floor, you can see a pile of desks all pushed up against the elevated walkway entrance, where Rebecca and her friends met their doom. The second floor seems deserted, but you swear you hear some distant...singing?

Will you investigate or keep on with Amy? The sooner you get her to the infirmary the sooner you can check for chests. Or you could just leave her here...
>>
>>30829866
Infirmary ho! Let nothing distract us from our noble mission of delivering the sicky to the room full of delicious medicine.

We can investigate the creepy singing when we don't have a sick girl clinging to us.
>>
>>30829866
Let's stick with Amy for now.
>>
>>30829866
Get Amy to the infirmary, tell whoever's around and able about singing. It's probably that princess though
>>
>>30829866
Get to the infirmary first! That's priority stuff!
>>
>>30829866

>>30829897
>>30829906

You shrug and begin the arduous climb up to the top floor, a barely-awake Amy in tow.

Finally, you crest the third floor, and find yourself in the brightly-lit corridors of proper civilization. There's life here, chatter and noise as people shift boxes and build defenses. You hear arguing up ahead, and walk down the hall towards the Infirmary, which is on the far side of the student council room.

"...Look, we need to eat something Cassandra! Emily and Kara are starving and the other girls are running ragged too!"
That was Sierra. She was answered by a cool, clipped voice.
"I know, but we need to conserve our food, we don't know how long this is going to last."
"Shit, there's not much point if we all starve though."
That'd be the Prez.

Stumbling into view of the open student council room, you turn, breathless, as everyone stares at you, their conversation dead in the water. Sierra bursts in a grin.
"Tabby! You're alive!"
You feel a massive hug crush your body as the huge, muscular athletics team member wrap you up in her arms. Amy falls backwards, only for Emily to gently catch her. Behind them come Mary and Kara, the council treasurer and track team ace respectively, who bring you a glass of water.
"Careful, Amy. We'll patch you up."
As Emily leads the beat-up junior away, you're continually hugged by Sierra.

Ahead, the president, Cassandra, steps forward. She's a tall beauty with long, straight white hair and red hair-ties. A student council armband flutters on her arm as she comes up to you.

"Tabitha, it's good to see you're alright." Her face darkens.

"How bad is it outside?"

You have the floor. These people are all ears. What points will you get across to them?
>>
>>30829980
Make some Molotovs.
>>
>>30829980
GOOD NEWS EVERYONE! It'll all be over as soon as dawn happens, so we don't need to conserve as much as you think
Also tell about chests and keys
And that club building is pretty much the last stronghold humans hold, I think
>>
>>30829980
"It's bad, as you can see Amy here barely made it, and myself and Celia have been beat up pretty badly. But we found out that it'll be over by sunrise tomorrow."
>>
>>30829980
Bad, but it could be worse.

On the bright side, we only have to hold out for about 8 hours, we know how to fight back [insert vampire slaying tutorial here], and there are weapon caches hidden around the school which we should start searching for ASAP.

On the not-so-bright side we've got at least eleven hungry-hungry vampires running around out there, though one of them may be incapacitated due to being impaled through the heart. Unfortunately I couldn't save anyone in the Junior building except for Amy and Celia.
>>
>>30829980
Tell them about the time-limit! No need to conserve food when we'll be out or dead in a day. Also everything else I guess.

"It's pretty bad."

You walk over to one of the council's desks and grab a pen and paper.

Drawing three boxes, J M and C, you point to J first.

"As you saw, Amy barely made it, and Celia and I were beat up pretty bad. Can you see this?" you say, holding up the mark on your arm that Zenia gave you, but nobody reacts. Of course, she made it invisible to them. Wonderful.
"I think there's at least eleven Vampires running around. I couldn't save anybody in the Junior building except Amy and Celia, but..." You gesture to some blood splatter on your shirt. "I managed to impale Betty."
The others visibly turn pale. Mary looks nauseous and Sierra begins to sweat.

"Anyway, something else interesting did happen. I met a Vampire lady. Her name was Zenia, and she said she started this."
"What do you mean?" says Cassandra, her voice rising.
"I mean, she said she's the one who trapped us, and that it's all some sort of big game."

You draw a circle around the school in red.

"We have about eight hours. When the blue moon reaches the top of the sky, we can escape. If we all get...eaten before then, the Vampires win and are free to rampage all over the countryside."

The other girls are silent. Cassandra looks downcast, and you can see the invisible pressure upon her.

"Thanks, Tabitha. You should relax in the adjoining room, it's a lounge area for the council but let's not stand on ceremony." She smiles and gestures you on. "I- We, will try and figure out what to do, and let everyone know."

Sierra turns to leave, but then you remember the chests, and tell her about them. The track team girls say they haven't seen anything, but will go and look around for it.

However, as you watch them leave, you have a sinking feeling that only you can see the chests, just like Zenia's timer.

Where to? The other students seem spread around the third floor and elsewhere. Cassandra clearly needs some time to think. What will you do?
>>
>>30830136
Search for the chests! Go go go!
Start at the top and move downwards.
>>
>>30830136
Lets search the building for chests and possibly check out the creepy singing.
>>
>>30830136
That shiny golden thingamajig on the first floor that we couldn't pull out from under the pile of stuff.

Lets investigate that.

Also maybe pop in on whoever is singing on the second floor, since we'll have to pass by their on our way to the first anyway.
>>
>>30830186
*there

Holy shit I'm tired, I'm flubbing my there/their.
>>
>>30830136
Start the search, that gold object we saw before is probably a good place to start. See if we get somebody to come with us.
>>
>>30830186
Oh, good point. Let's look at that golden shit.
>>
>>30830199
And look for some goddamn alcohol to make some Molotovs.
>>
>>30830177
>>30830178
>>30830198

You brush of the council's offer, and head out into the corridor. There's a craft room up ahead, and you go over to investigate. Inside, you see your friend Chris, who is on the floor with a roll of duct tape, taping what look like nails and cutlery knives to some broomsticks. Next to her is Valerie. She's the vice-president of the council, and curly brown hair and shiny glasses that make her look very sharp and professional. Valerie is going through a cardboard box full of papers, obviously looking for anything useful.

You decide not to disturb them just yet, and move on to the next room, which is the staff break room. The smell of chocolate wafts out... Peeking in, you see that bitch Natalie, eating a chocolate bar from the vending machine in the room. She's sitting at a table and constantly flicking her phone open and shut. You wonder if she has a bit of a comfort eating problem?

You pass two more empty utility rooms as well as the Infirmary (where you see Amy sleeping peacefully under Emily's watch), and come to the A/V room. The door is open, and behind the studio panel is a soundproof booth. Inside, you see a silver chest, sitting on the table.

The door to the booth is locked, though.

Will you do anything on the third floor or move down to the second?
>>
Ask the student council members if they have or know where the keys are to the room. Seems like something that student council would know about.
>>
>>30830255
Can we bust the door open? Well it won't do much good without the key. I guess move onto the second
Also why is Natalie a bitch? The only bitch I know of is the one that pushed her friends to vampires, but wasn't she caught as well?
>>
>>30830289

She's the one who let the Vampires in in the first place after you and Sierra locked them out of the main building.
>>
>>30830278
Maybe we can break the window to get into the booth?
>>
>>30830307
Why break things if someone likely has or knows where the key is?
>>
>>30830299
What? Why'd she do that if she's not a vampire?
>>
>>30830312
Still, it's something to think about if we can't find the keys
>>
>>30830255
Break in, who cares about property damage.
>>
>>30830307
Breaking glass is rarely as neat as you'd like it to be, especially if you don't know what you're doing. If we have no other option then sure, but I'd rather not risk slicing our arm open or something.

Not to mention it might be that annoying shatter-proof glass thats a pain in the dick to break. They use that in schools sometimes, at least in murrika.
>>
There's also that problem that nobody sees those chests, we don't wanna do weird shit in such circumstances
We should just ask for the key. If anyone asks, say that we want to went via screaming and don't wanna disturb anyone
>>
So you guys want to look for the keys first, then?

You head back to the student council room. Cassandra seems to have gone elsewhere, but Mary is manning the desk, looking perplexed. Mary has fluffy red hair with a rather cute rabbit hairclip, and she's decently well-endowed. You know she's pretty popular among juniors.

As she sees you approach, the older girl gets to her feet and comes over to you, a smile on her face. Mary enters your personal space rather quickly, surprising you slightly.

"Oh, Tabitha!" she manages, a hint of red in her cheeks, "I was just, uh, thinking about you." The treasurers absentmindedly twirls hair around a finger as she gives you a pleasant look. "C-can I help you out?"

Mary's slightly taller than you, and she leans in a bit. Hmm.

Will you ask Mary for the keys?
>>
>>30830450
Take a step back, ask for keys
>>
>>30830450
"Do you know who in the couscil would know where the keys are to the soubdproof area of the AV room?"
>>
>>30830450

>>
>>30830450
Two steps back
"K-keys p-please."
>>
>>30830475
>>30830481

You hesitantly take a step backward. Mary's smile is unsettling.

"Uh, Mary, do you know where the key to the A/V room's booth is?"

"Ohh." she says, pulling out a set of keys. With a flick, Mary unclips a small silver key and holds it up. "It's this one! What do you want it for?"

You remember that the others may not be able to see the chests. "I just want to check inside for anything useful, maybe to call out." you lie.

Marie's green eyes bore into you, thinning in a sinister manner.

"Well, I don't know, maybe you can do something for me first?" The senior then slowly, deliberately unbuttons the top of her shirt, and exposes her cleavage. Before you can stop her, Mary drops the key between her breasts.

"If you want to, of course. I'm not going to force you, ohohoho."

You frown. You could take her in a fight, but the others might be nearby and you might have to waste time explaining why you attacked the much-loved treasurer over a key to the soundbooth.

What do you do? Want to search elsewhere?
>>
>>30830615
"Are you serious? This isn't the time for this shit, give me the key."
>>
>>30830615
"I'm going to assume that this is your way of dealing with the fact that vampires might be coming to drink us dry and we might all die without experiencing the many wonders of adulthood."
"However, I just saw my best friend kill four people, and then I had to impale her in the heart while she was trying to kill me in an orgy of violence. I need that key so I can scream in the soundproofed room for a solid 10 minutes. If you do not give me the key, I will punch you. And save that experimenting shit for college."
>>
>>30830615
Rip off her top and take the key. She wants it.
>>
>>30830615
Uh, okay.
Assuming they're fine, do a quick check to see if anyone's watching, pull her away somewhere else if so, then get the key. Those weapons are important enough that we can't waste time.
>>
>>30830615
>Marie's green eyes bore into you, thinning in a sinister manner.
That's not very comforting. Snatch that key, but be careful.

Marie that's just lewd, you'll never get anywhere if you try to seduce your juniors like that. You need to wait until they're afraid and on the verge of breakdown then be there to comfort them and next thing they know, BAM, lewd as hell.

I just can't grope someone who botches the delivery like this. But if you give me the key I'll promise to give you a mulligan.
>>
>>30830677
I like it.
>>
>>30830677
On the one hand I don't think we should be actively teaching her better ways to take advantage of scared girls in the middle of a crisis situation.

On the other hand it might get us the key, and will be hilarious either way if she takes the advice to heart.
>>
>>30830709
>teaching her better ways to take advantage of scared girls
Like trying to take advantage of an actually scared girl and not latent stone cold badass?
>>
>>30830725
Exactly. She's made several basic mistakes. We can give her more tips later though.
>>
>>30830677
You're aware that you're basically foreshadowing a scene where we finally can't take the strain and are getting ready to have a good cry, and then suddenly molestation out of fucking nowhere right?

As long as we're all on the same page.
>>
>>30830645
>>30830650

You narrow your eyes and take an intimidating step forward.

"I just saw my best friend kill four people, and then I had to impale her in the heart while she was trying to kill me in an orgy of violence. I need that key so I can scream in the soundproofed room for a solid 10 minutes. If you do not give me the key, I will punch you. We don't have time for this. "

Mary flinches, and you feel like her aura flickers for a moment. She lets out a bit of a sigh and shakes her head.
"You've made your point, Tabitha." she says, and pulls the key out, tossing it to you. However, as you turn to leave, you hear her speak again in her normally-bubbly voice.
"I'll have you, one way or another."
"You need to wait until someone is already afraid and on the verge of a breakdown," you retort, "then comfort them. That's the real way to a woman's heart!"
Mary doesn't reply.

As you leave, you reflect that maybe you'll keep a wider berth from Mary in the future.

---

Arriving at the A/V room, you open the door with a click and investigate the chest. It's a a small cylindrical silver box, with an odd marking on it. The lock doesn't seem to have a keyhole, and upon closer inspection is a tiny button. You press it, and a panel flips up on the top. Now, the marking makes a bit more sense, it looks like a leaf with the tip pointing to the button.

A leaf?

You're stumped. Surprisingly, the small chest is stuck fast to the table, and you can't shift it. Will you fiddle with it some more, or head elsewhere?
>>
>>30830752
Uh, can we see any way in which a leaf might interact with the chest? In that case, try and get one I guess. There wouldn't happen to be a convenient tree right outside one of the windows of the building we can pluck a leaf from, would there?
>>
>>30830752
Wait, did we open it or...?
>>
>>30830775

Not off the top of Tabitha's head, you'll have to keep an eye out for a specific leaf.
>>
>>30830752
Look for some kind of instruction manual. Failing that, any other markings, buttons or holes.
>>
>>30830789
>a specific leaf.
Geez what a pain in the ass. Can we tell what kind? If not, search for a student that knows shit about botany.
>>
>>30830752
Give it a thorough inspection to make double sure we aren't missing a clue. If nothing turns up continue our search of the building while keeping a special eye out for leaves and leaf accessories.
>>
>>30830804
This. Make sure we lock up and take the key with us when we go.
>>
>>30830804
>>30830800
>>30830790
>>30830822

You try jamming a bent paper clip in the hinges and prying the chest open, but it refuses to budge. You guess you'll need help to find the leaf or whatever, and head out, locking the booth behind you and taking the key.

Back in the corridor, you see Samantha come up from the second floor, carrying some sandwiches. She hands you one, and goes to see Chris. The ham and egg really hits the spot. You guess she made it in the Home Economics room on the first floor.

You feel your hand twitch, and look at the marking Zenia gave you.

[21/14]

Fuck fuck fuck. You'd better get a move on, which floor will you visit?
>>
>>30830844
Do we know where any of the other girls are?
We should really try to rescue them.
>>
>>30830844

Club Building:
Tabitha, Cassandra, Mary, Valerie, Chris, Samantha, Natalie, Amy, Emily - Third floor

Serena - Second Floor

Sierra, Celia, Fiona, Kara, Ann - First Floor

Unknown:
Anya, Ms. Pritcher, Ms. Gardner, Serena's three maids
>>
>>30830950
So 15 is our panic number
>>
>>30830950
Can we start getting people all in one room?
Because if we're spread, we can lose 2-3 people and we're utterly fucked the next time one of us goes upstairs.
>>
>>30830977
Might be counterproductive in the long run, we're more or less in control of the entire building right now, which gives us plenty of room to fall back if they force a breach as long as everyone stays alert. If we shove everyone in one room we won't get picked off one-by-one but it also means we're voluntarily setting ourselves up for an Alamo situation, except with desks and improvised stabbing implements instead of proper defensive walls and guns.
>>
>>30831011
Then groups of 3 or groups of 5.
No staying alone. With a group of three, you should be able to run away quick enough to warn the rest.
>>
>>30831029
Yeah, agree - two people isn't nearly enough. Also tell people to stay away from (but ideally within sight-range of) doors and windows, in case of spooky vampire grabs.
>>
>>30831011

The other thing is that these are schoolgirls not soldiers, so they may not want to follow orders without proper cooercion.
>>
>>30831063
Can we call for a meeting with all of them so we can outline what the fuck we need to do to survive?
Take charge. They'll respect and look up to us.
>>
>>30831076

Oh, so you want to go to Cassandra and have her approve a plan of action then? Inform everyone?
>>
>>30831095
Might as well. I'd prefer to get everyone on the same page ASAP. Every second wasted is another second a vampire could be eating our friends.
>>
>>30831095
Plan of action is to hold out here, basically. I think everyone knows this already
>>
>>30831095
Let's at least finish our sweep of the building first.

They may not be super organized but they've got a decent semblance of order going on, and if their reactions when we approached the back door were any indication they aren't going to be sitting there just waiting for vamps to burst through the windows and eat them.

They're already more or less doing what we want them to be doing, which is fortifying the building and not running off into vamp territory.
>>
Oh, okay then.

So gents, where to?
>>
>>30831157
Explore the second floor
>>
>>30831157
Check on our injured friend.
Double check she wasn't bitten. We can never be too careful.
>>
>>30831157
As we were saying before tangent, second floor. Continue the systematic search.
>>
>>30831176

You duck into the infirmary, and have a look at Amy. She's sleeping soundly in a medical gown Emily found for her. Emily, it seems, has stepped out, and Amy is sleeping alone.

Apologizing to the Junior, you give her a quick once-over as she sleeps. You can't unfurl her bandages but Amy's flesh is as supple and lively as yours. She seems clean as ever.

Amy smiles in her sleep as you tuck her back in.

>>30831179
>>30831172

You decide to go down to the quiet second floor. It's dark here, and you suddenly wish you hadn't lost your flashlight back in the Junior building. As you step over to the nearest room, you hear the sounds of a soft singing voice. It's coming from the music room.

You check into an open utility room, used by the school's occult club currently. There's some odd statues, a magic circle, and some dreamcatchers...and a golden chest behind a wastebin.

This chest is kind of creepy. It's much larger than the silver one, and features a molded human handprint. Beneath the handprint an inscription reads "OPEN WITH KNOWLEDGE OF BETRAYAL".

What does that mean? Will you explore elsewhere or try to open the chest?
>>
>>30831279
That chest will only open for that girl whose crush threw them into the Vampires.
I guess.
Let's prepare weapons for our expedition outside. We have to save the others.

You try to recall when Rebecca pushed her best friend into the Vampire swarm while touching the chest, but nothing happens.
You leave the unsettling chest alone and return to the corridor. Zenia must be fucking with you.

As you head down the corridor to the music room, the door opens and Serna appears, her face radiating relief as you approach.

"Oh Tabitha! Sierra told me there's some awful sickness going around. I'm to wait here until the crisis is averted, but..." The graceful girl beckons you inside. "There's nothing much to do."

The music room is large, and features a grand piano at one end and several music stands at the other. A folded booklet sits on one of the chairs, where Serena has presumably been practicising. The royal lady draws you over and offers you a seat, taking out a thermos of tea.

"Tabitha, I don't want to bother you, but could you keep an eye out for Ange, Stephanie and Laura?" Serena seems concerned about her three maids. "They stay at the teacher dorms, I dismissed them a little while before heading here to the Club room. I do so hope they're alright."

As you talk, you notice a small white-and-black shiny box behind the trombone. It's another chest!

This one features three spikes in each corner, giving it a bit of a demonic appearance. Serena looks on in confusion as you crouch down. On top of the chest is a small inset jewel, which is on closer inspection, a vial. The vial clicks into the forehead of the face-shaped lock, which seems to have tiny crystal tears dripping from it. The face looks familiar, with a very sharp, precise bowl-cut. Who do you know with such a boring hairstyle..?

How will this one work?
>>
>>30831421
Well, it's Anya. We have no idea where the fuck she is.
So do we go out and look for her, or ignore the chests?
>>

And I have no idea who has such hair, I can barely remember half of all the characters in this quest. What's our hairstyle?
>>
>>30831421
Ok this one is easy. We need tears. Delicious tears from... who, again?
>>
>>30831461

Tabitha has short, wavy black hair.
>>
>>30831465
>>30831461
Anya has the bowl cut.
So either tears from her, or we can use some garlic.
>>
>>30831445
We've still got that out of place shiny thing on the first floor to fully investigate, if it ends up being nothing then we might want to think of mounting an expedition.

The question then becomes an expeditionary force or solo sneaking mission.

That said, Anya isn't far away or anything.
>>
>>30831605
Yeah, well, I follow the general rule that everyone outside of this building - ded
We're gonna examine and save whoever we find, but I won't opt for getting out of our way for that.

>>
>>30831639
While I do follow your reasoning, if we write everyone else off and they don't manage to hold out for any length of time (unlikely, since our group currently consists of 15 of the remaining 21 humans), it'll rapidly become 25 vamps vs 15 humies. Even with fortifications and maybe popping one of these goddamn mystery boxes I'm not fond of those odds. We really want to save at least a few more people just so the numbers don't end up so skewed.
>>
>>30831689
Excuse me, 20 vamps, I flubbed. Still, point stands about how being outnumbered by a physically superior foe is bad news.
>>
>>30831639
Every person we save is another one of them we don't have to fight.
Saving someone is worth double. It keeps their numbers down, and increases our odds.

>>30831689
>>30831639
>>30831716
So prepare for an expedition?
Do we go solo or grab some other scrubs?
>>
>>30831761
Never go solo
Also it's apparently not the best time for expedition
We should watch the windows though

>>30831689
>>30831716
True enough, but that relies on other girls' competence, which I have little to no faith in
>>
>>30831761
We should check out the shiny bit on the first floor at least, if only because we already know it's location so it shouldn't take much time.

As for an expedition, I'm thinking two members of the Track team assuming they've got the balls for it. Small enough group that we can avoid detection, just enough people to fight one off if we accidentally stumble upon a lone vamp, and we won't be sapping the resources of the defenders too much.
>>
>>30831783
Perhaps we could bunker down for a bit, and then see which girls are healthy enough/see if the vampires attack us.
>>
>>30831783
Our own competence isn't so hot, in our last encounter we just barely made it out alive from a stand-up fight with a lone vamp, and only because we had a helper on hand to bail us out. And we can only cover a single window/door at a time. We've got no choice but to trust our allies and hope they make the cut.
>>
>>30831796
Probably the better plan. If we repel an attack we can mount an expedition while they're licking their wounds or doing whatever it is vampires do when they're not trying to feast on our flesh.
>>
If you wait, you may lose something, if you go you may lose something.

Up to you guys!
>>
>>30831894

You've gathered everyone in the stairwell. A few guards and Amy aside, the remaining students of Luna Girls' are all listening eagerly as you outline your plan.

"We're safe here," you begin, "but we need to go and make sure nobody else out there is in trouble!"

"Is that really a good idea?" says ponytailed Natalie from far above. She drops a chocolate wrapper down the stairwell. "If people go out they might not come back."
Chris scowls at her. "How would you like it if you were outside? Hell, it's your fault we lost the main building, you stupid cow."
Natalie's face goes red and she swings a punch at Chris, and Valerie and Emily have to restrain the pair of them them. Sierra shakes her head and steps forward.

"I'm going. We can't be sitting around, waiting for those Vampires to come and break in. We can go to the equipment shed too, and pick up the javelins and archery gear. Those things are sharp and we can use them to shoot the Vampires before they get close."

The other girls seem to like this idea. You see Samantha nodding at every word Sierra says, and even that creeper Mary seems excited. However, Cassandra raises her hand to gain silence.

"Listen, this is going to be dangerous. Tabitha, you've volunteered yourself, but anyone else who wants to go better be prepared."

There's a stillness, but then a wooden stake pokes up. It's Celia, now wearing...a padded vest she seems to have taken from the theater clubroom. "I'm going for sure!" she says. "Tabitha saved me and Amy so now it's my turn to repay her." Cassandra's face looks unhappy at such a young girl going, but she doesn't say anything. Then the cool and aloof Kara puts her hand up silently.

Are we back online?

So, there's your group. Emily brings you a long screwdriver as a backup weapon, and gives her friends Kara and Sierra some makeshift spears that Chris made.

With the others wishing you luck, the three of you exit the back, and taste the cool night air.

---

As you cross around the right side of the Club building, Sierra waves for you to crouch. Your party takes cover behind two trashbins, as something walks past on a distant walkway. It's...a naked girl? Probably a junior. The Vampire's eyes are red, but not glowing intensely like before. She seems to be lost and confused.
As you watch, the Vampire goes over to a small tarp on the ground and picks it up, wrapping it around her naked, white body as a cloak. Is she cold?

Will you approach her, or avoid her?

You remain in the darkness. The Junior shivers and wanders over towards the main building, looking for warmth.

"I guess they aren't as cohesive as we thought?" says Celia, "She didn't seem to be on patrol or anything."

You shrug and continue on.

--

After a few minutes of walking, your group finds itself at a bit of an impasse.

Ahead of you is the big, open sports field. It's dark, but has no cover. the long way around the edges has been blocked by the forcefield, and the third floor of the Main building has a good view of it.

You look around for something to aid you. There's some acrobatics mats, a few trolleys for moving balls, but not much else.

Additionally, this is not a safe position. You can see the Teacher's dorm across the field, lights still on. If only you could get over there.

What will you do?
>>
>>30832731
Crawl across.
Might work!
>>
>>30832756
Over an open field? Running it is probably better. Less time exposed.
>>
>>30832731
Shit. Grab a mat, face it towards the building, and sneak behind while others move with you?
If it's dark, they might not be able to do anything.
>>
>>30832731
>>30832756
Gotta attempt the crawl. It's that or sprint, and if anyone is watching a sprint is guaranteed to get us spotted.
>>
>>30832792
Vampires may or may not have nightvision powers. It's better to run and hope no-one's looking, or go low. Crouching isn't going to help, though.

At the moment it really doesn't look like the vamps are really organised - solo hungry hunters, looks like.
>>
>>30832783

You briefly consider running, but decide not to. It'd give you away too quickly.

>>30832792
Sierra suggests you use the mats to cover yourself as you cross, but they're heavy and dusty and awkward. Celia then has a good idea:

>>30832825
>>30832756

"Let's crawl across slowly! Our uniforms are black, after all."

Kara and Sierra agree, so you all carefully get down on your hands and knees and shuffle across.

The hard ground is murder on your joints, and every so often some bit of dirt or other particle flies up your nose and nearly causes a sneezing fit.

However, it seems nobody spots you, and after a good half hour of crawling, you reach the other side. Out of range (hopefully) of the Vampires, you and the others get to your feet.

Ahead are two buildings. One is a terraced, two-story apartment style block. This is the Teacher's dorm, and it's made of worn stone and brick. There are lights on inside, probably from the common room?

Next to it is the big old metal-roofed sports shed. It's a big, solid-looking building. Probably locked, but Sierra says she can get in through a high window.

How will you play this? Split up the team? Which building first?
>>
>>30832921
DO NOT SPLIT THE PARTY
Fuck. I want to go to the sports shed, but there could be a vampire in there, and the person going in first will just get slaughtered.
I say go to the teachers dorm, get the key and any teachers, then the shed.
>>
>>30832921
Anything but split. Search around the 'safe' sides of the building for open doors or first-floor windows.
>>
>>30832921
Dorm first, don't split the party. First order of business is identifying any survivors, or lack thereof.
>>
>>30832921
Only three to start with anyway, no splitting.
I doubt there will be a vampire in a locked shed, it would be making sound if trapped inside.

>>30832966
>>30832984

You reel Sierra back in with some difficulty (shit she has some firm muscles) and lead the group carefully up the stairs to the Dorm entrance.

There are two floors, a row of four rooms on each. The common room is on the second floor, and the light is on there.

On the first floor a dark room hangs open, door creaking.

Where to?
>>
>>30833011
Oh for the love of god...
Be super quiet, have everyone stick together, check your corners, and open the dark room.

>>30833011
We got two melee and two spearmen, right? Melees on two sides of the door, open on mark, spearmen stand in front of it meter or two away ready to stab
Operating intensifies
>>
>>30833011
Sweep and clear I guess, if there is a vamp in the room and we ignore it, then they cut the power once we reach the lighted second floor and gank us before our eyes adjust... well that certainly wouldn't be very nice of them.

You swallow your fears and gesture to the others. They nod gravely and raise their own weapons.

Quietly, slowly, you all form up around the open door. It's dark inside, but not totally invisible.

You edge in, weapons ready. The tension is so thick you could cut it with a knife.

The room is a mess. It's been totally ransacked, and things are strewn all over the place. Test papers, books, pens and pencils, all tossed about without a care. A small fridge hands open, illuminating the room with a soft, feeble light.

Gradually your group relaxes their guard. It's a single room, with a bed in the back and a small bathroom. The bathroom is open, and there seems to be nobody inside. You can't tell which teacher's room this is, but-

Suddenly the door behind you slams shut, throwing the room into darkness.

Sierra swears and Celia clings to your shirt.

There's a muffled thump from above. There's something in the ceiling!

Looking up, you make out a pair of air vent covers in the gloom, and something is definitely moving up there!

"What the shit do we do?!" hisses Sierra, as you pull out your hammer and screwdriver.

Well, what do you do? The only exit is shut and the room as one glass window to the side of it. You're sitting ducks, how do you survive?
>>
>>30833202
Get to the fridge, open it again. Need the light.
>>
>>30833202
We know they are in the vents. Head to the lighted room, keep an eye on the ceiling. Have the two spearmen in the middle, one melee at the front, one behind. The girl behind keeps watching out for dangerous stuff. I suggest we take point.
>>
>>30833202
Smash the door hinges with the hammer, kick the door down, get ready to be attacked.
One spearperson watch the roof, the other watch the door with you, the last person keep track of the window.

Break the door then move out the way for the speargirl to stab.
>>
>>30833202
Shit, shit, shit. Stay together, stay away from that window, stay away from the vents.

Does the door open inwards or outwards? If it opens outwards they might have barricaded it shut if they're serious about trapping us, if it opens inwards it's still worth a try.
>>
>>30833353
Anon, all doors open inwards, inside the room. We can totally break the hinges off, but I think that's gonna take too much time
>>
>>30833388
Do we have any confirmation that all the doors here open inwards?
>>
>>30833218

You scowl and kick the fridge door open. The golden light shines out and brightens things up slightly, allowing you to see something jerk back into the darkness of the vent.

>>30833241

"Okay, keep your eyes on the vents!" you say, moving towards the light. Celia is clinging to you, but Sierra and the ever-silent Kara keep a lookout as you reach the door.

>>30833246

With a grunt, you take out your hammer and start smashing the hinges. Sierra jams her pen-knife spear up into the Vents and there's a sudden scream of pain. As she yanks the pole back, Sierra notices that her point has been ripped out, and swears under her breath.

You finally smash one of the hinges off just as a Vampire breaks through the second vent, falling to the ground! It's Mira from the culture club. Red eyes free of emotion, the short yet surprisingly agile girl dashes forwards, going for Sierra, who uses her now blunt stick to force her back.

Then you smash the second hinge, and give the door a mighty kick. With a slam the wooden frame cracks and falls free, and you and the others jump back out- just as a Junior Vampire appears around the corner. You recognize her cropped brown hair as Tiana, but her face is one of impish glee, a far cry from her usual timid expression.

"Sorry seniors, but you've gotta become Vampires like us!" she says, and pulls out a...sword?! It's a big, black, barbed thing, forged of blood and hate, not at all like what you'd find in any school, or indeed, anywhere civilized. This weapon from a bygone age must be something from a Chest-- does that mean Zenia is giving them weapons too? The massive blade thrums with power as Tiana steps forward, her mouth twisted into an evil grin.

"If I cut you with this you'll die unless you turn into a Vampire!" she says, giggling, "Then you'll agree to let me bite you."

Behind you, Mira is pushed back barely by Sierra.

You peek over the edge of the terrace. It's a slope, maybe you can jump? But will you make it?
>>
>>30833453
All the doors everywhere open inwards. I've never see a door opening outwards in a big public facility like school or university. You can look around your own flat even, all doors except for bathroom ones open inwards probably
>>
>>30833461
Gotta try! Get them all out and jump last.
>>
>>30833461
Isn't this like first floor? Why wouldn't we make it? Also I assume Tiana blocks the exit out of the building. Are there any other ways?
Anyway, I propose using Mira as a meatshield
>>
>>30833461
Tell the others to jump first. We'll follow.

>Amy is sick
"It's just tonsils!"
>>
>>30833528

Because Tiana might run up with the obviously magic sword and cut your legs off mid-jump, I guess.
>>
>>30833461
"Where did you get that?"
>>
>>30833477
Two of my doors open outwards. I'm looking at an outwards-swinging bedroom door right now. I don't usually make note of what way doors swing so I can't say too much about public areas, but I definitely know the classroom doors at my old high-school swung outwards.
>>
>>30833461
Flee! Want nothing to do with that sword!
>>
>>30833543
Oh shit

Well if she has a sword and superior agility we're at great disadvantage. Maybe bluffing might work?
>>
>>30833535
>>30833500

"Celia! Kara! You guys jump!"

Celia looks at you like you just told her to kill a puppy, but she reluctantly agrees, jumping from the guardrails along with Kara.

>>30833528

Sierra then suddenly rolls backwards, surprising Mira as she falls forwards. Using her legs, Sierra kicks the Vampire in the gut, temporarily winding her.

Then, Tiana charges, sword glistening in the light. You push Sierra over the rail and push the startled Mira into Tiana's swing! There's a sickening ark of luminescent dark red blood as Mira's eyes widen. Tiana's grin becomes a mask of shock as she watches the two pieces of Mira separate as they fly towards her.

Tiana is knocked to the ground, and Mira lets out an airless scream as her perfectly bisected body parts fall in a heap. The dangerous sword clatters to the ground...within reach.

Do you go for it or jump the rail and leave?
>>
>>30833638
YES! My plan worked!
Escape. Judging by her description and by the way this sword looks and feels, it's for vampire hands only. Better not push it
>>
>>30833638
Go for it, if for no better reason than to get it away from her. The less vampires running around with goddamn magic swords the better, especially since we have no direct countermeasure yet.
>>
>>30833638
Go with our gut! Does it FEEL evil, or just look evil?
>>
>>30833702
>forged of blood and hate
Those aren't qualities you can just eyeball like that. I think it feels pretty fucking evil

You carefully consider grabbing it, but...No. It's not for you. Not yet. Instead, you kick it behind a fallen washboard and hope they don't spot it.

With a jump, you hit the grass and roll down the hill with the others, who are dusting themselves off.

"Well that was a bust!" says Sierra, holding her head in her hands. Celia's lost her stake, and even Kara is shivering.

You can still see a Junior Vampire flustered and trying to help the grisly scene up on the terrace.

Should you go back or head elsewhere?
>>
>>30833638
Grab the sword, stab vampires with it.
>>
>>30833801
Leave this place, find somewhere else to search. Make sure everyone's okay, too.
>>
>>30833801
So we got main building that I guess is occupied by vampires
We got our base, club building
We got teachers dorm which is a dud
What else?
>>
>>30833843

Oh, who says it's a dud? You didn't even check the second floor!

There's also the sports shed.
>>
Try another entrance? Preferably one with less sword wielding vamps?

Also, what happens to the vampires that were wounded like that when time runs out? They turn to humans, to die instantly?
>>
>>30833801
Check that they're fine, Sierra certainly seems to be so the other two mostly. Try to find a different entrance...ideally on the other side of the building.
>>
>>30833843
We haven't searched the shed near here yet. I'd say go there, we need vamp beating implements, and I don't fancy another trek all the way back across the field yet.
>>
>>30833801
First, cheer the girls up. "We got one of them. One of them are fucking dead! And we're all alive- ok, we need to get out of here before they regroup."

Are there any other buildings on campus?
>>
>>30833859
Yeah, but I think it's occupied by vampires, since they make ambushes like that
>>30833882
Shed it is!
>>
>>30833887
Actually, to the best of our knowledge, bisection will not actually put one down for good. The only surefire way, as far as we know, to actually slay one is copious amounts of fire. The sword may have done it but it seemed pretty vampy rather than vamp-killy.
>>
>>30833907
There might be humans barricaded in a room up there, we've still got several unaccounted for.
>>
>>30833966
Then they probably wouldn't be ambushing. That light might as well be a bait
>>
>>30833832
>>30833875
>>30833887
>>30833882

"Guys, we got one of them. We're all okay as well, but we need to get moving first."

Sierra nods, and helps Celia up. "You're right, let's go to the shed and get some gear." She turns to Kara, who is redoing her hair-tie. "You alright to go?"
Kara nods.

Quickly, your group makes their way back around the side of the Dorm and approaches the shed. The door seems locked, so you give Sierra a boost and she somehow fits through a high, narrow window. There's a muffled thump on the inside as you and Kara form a perimeter while Sierra goes to find the stuff she wanted. Celia collapses in a heap next to the door.

As you wait, you look up into the sky. The blue moon has barely moved, yet the red moon is already a third of the way to the top. Things haven't been going well. Maybe if you'd focused on the chests and used some equipment instead? There was also the question of Serena's maids, and Anya.

You feel yourself yawn. The exhaustion has crept into your lithe frame and is starting to tear at your mind. Can you really keep this shit up all night? Celia, Samantha, Cassandra, they're all depending on you.

Then, you notice the lights up in the Dorm's common room. They flash on and off. Is someone trying to get your attention? Maybe-

There's a clang behind you. the door opens, and Sierra appears, pushing a trolley full of javelins, arrows, bows and repair tools. She grins.

"We should get this back to the Club building right now. Me and Kara can push it real fast."

Will you return to the other side of the field, or is that light worth investigating?
>>
>>30834017
We're armed to the teeth now compared to last time, and we know their game. It's worth a second pass at investigating. The vamp cannot sword if you turn her into a javelin pincushion.
>>
>>30834017
Dorm rooms first, I think. Let's go up there.
>>
>>30834017
Investigate the lights
>>
>>30834017
Well her and Kara can push it for Summerslam
Us and the other girl will check that light real quick
>>
>>30833933
First off, a vamp without legs is somewhat less dangerous unless it can crawl super fast, and secondly, it's more about giving the girls a morale boost. We're not dead and we got one with less limbs than us.
>>
>>30834074

You wheel the trolley up the hill, despite Sierra's protests. The light might still be someone who needs help!

Exchanging your makeshift weapons for javelins and giving Celia a bow and some arrows, you make your second attempt up to the Dorms.

On the first landing, you peek around the corner and see a pretty nasty sight. There's a massive puddle of blood that looks like it was left by something being dragged, over to the railing. Your guess is that Tiana and the other girl dragged Mira's body parts off to try and "fix" her...

With haste as you didn't want to be cornered, your party ascends the steps. The second level is lit at the end by lights from the large, circular common room. All the other doors are shut.

Peeking inside, you see...a well-lit room, with two older women sitting at the table. One is dressed in a worn gym tracksuit. That's Ms. Gardner, you'd recognize the messy blonde hair and tan anywhere. She's your gym teacher. Across from her is Ms. Pritcher, a very kind and delicate young teacher, who is well-loved by the students.

They're both bound to their chairs and gagged. Near them, A tall Vampire stands, reading a book nonchalantly with her back to them. She seems unarmed, but that silhouette... It's Betty.

What's the plan? There is only one entrance to the room.
>>
>>30834235
Except the ones we do fear, which include vampires that:
-we can't see
-have unknown magic weapons
-outnumber us
-are the hypothetical rape-senpai hyperlust doom vampire of ruin-our-innocence
>>
>>30834257
This is probably an ambush. Lure them out?
>>
>>30834257
Javelin toss and/or arrow fire?

Betty wasn't so tough last time, and now we've got firepower on our side.
>>
>>30834331

Oh yeah, you could totally overwhelm her.
>>
>>30834257
Double ambush. The teachers are bloodsucked, and when we free them we get a faceful of teeth. If it wasn't the teachers flickering the lights then it's a double trap.

Do we have anything to set fire to the building?

I get this strange feeling that there's a catch.

Oh god she's gotten over her bloodlust and is in control now isn't she.

But alas, it's our duty as humans to remove bakemono wherever we find them.
>>
>>30834500

You could smash the lights, maybe? send some sparks onto the carpet.
>>
http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=Vampire%20School%20Survival%20Quest

Also I stuck up the thread on the archive.
>>
>>30834500
When I was saying "ambush" I meant that there are probably her associates sitting outside of field of vision
But your idea about teachers being bloodsucked is also plausible
>>30834521
That doesn't work like that
>>
Well you'd know if the teachers were bitten because then the vampire counter on your hand would go up.
>>
>>30834641
It went up before we ever saw these teachers
Unless we actually keep track on vampires we can't know for sure
Also it went up fairly recently
>>
>>30834641
Really? When did it last change?

I just assumed the teachers got turned earlier and were part of the vampire number already. I didn't think there was any reason the vamps WOULDN'T turn them once they have them.
>>
>>30834691
When we were investigating the second floor of the club building
And you're totally right
In fact, the counter is only good for evaluating overall situation. I wouldn't use it to guess who's vampire and who's human
>>
Just attack already. We've already kicked one ambush in the nuts, and this time we're fully aware one might be coming.

Show her the terrifying power of four teenage girls with primitive projectile weaponry.
>>
>>30834669
>>30834691

It most recently changed before the expedition was launched. You did see most of the people who were turned, The latest increase could be either the maids, the teachers, or a mix of both.

But hey, it's your party I just set the table. Don't end up the main course!
>>
>>30834725
Second this, we impaled her once and we can do it again
>>
>>30834725
>>30834748
Alright
We can examine the teachers later, but I still think that there might be suckers hiding in the corners, so watch those
>>
>>30834691
Counterpoint: the last counter change was not that long ago, and the hypothetical teacher-vamps would have had to have been part of the most recent batch. Newly turned vampires are characterized primarily by their mindless bloodlust. Considering these teachers are not currently attempting to feast on our delicious blood, it's most likely they haven't been turned yet.

Of course don't discount the possibility until we confirm with our own eyes, but odds are against it unless there is something hokey at play.

You tell the others the plan...and charge in.

"It's about time," manages Betty as she slowly puts down her book. "You're la-aaaagh!"

The arrow hits her in the back and the three javelins ram her against the wall. Blood leaks everywhere as you pull them back out except for Sierra's, leaving the Vampire pinned to the wall painfully. As Betty gurgles, you look at the teachers with wild eyes, and they look back in shock and confusion.

Are they vampires?

"N-No. They're not."

Behind you, Betty manages to speak. Sierra snarls and twists the javelin pole. Betty screams in pain, and you stop Sierra quickly.

"What do you mean?"

"Ugh, Tabby, can you please pull that thing out so I can talk?"
You reluctantly tell Sierra to pull it, and the rest of the group raise their weapons as Betty slumps to the floor.

Then, she slowly, carefully gets up.

"Tabitha, I'm sorry about what happened before."
Celia whimpers.
"Sorry? You think that nightmare you committed can just be apologized for?"
"No. But I didn't mean it. I was freaking out after...turning."
Freaking out?

"Listen, I came here separate from those clowns downstairs. I'm representing a few others. We want to form a truce."

Betty stands up to her full height, and something strange happens. Her upper body extends, detached from her lower half except by a spiny, fleshy growth. Betty turns around.

The hole you dug into her has mutated into a massive...leering...yellow eyeball. Betty's face looks at you sadly as you and your friends recoil in shock at this grotesquery.

"We need to stop this," she says gesturing at her body. "Will you listen to me?"

Anyway that's that for this session. WIll continue either later this weekend or same time next week.
