You and Erika bid your time for nearly an hour, simply admiring the art in the church (Or describing it to Erika) while Latooni and Leona have some alone time together. While Latooni was right in that Leona will have you and Erika as her friends, right now Latooni is the only one who really understands how Leona feels in this situation, so for now you and Erika are entrusting Latooni with the care of Leona.

The Church itself is a rather large an expansive buildings, and while the Queens are mentioned in name, no solid pictures or even solid descriptions of them exist here. Indeed the most you found out about the queens was that one of had, “Long, elegant, immaculate Raven black hair”. Certainly Oksana, but after seeing her with bed head, you can’t help but to reflexively chuckle every time you read that bit of church dogma.

“The Queen of Magic burst through from the window, her perfectly formed rav- Pffftt.” you say stifling a laugh while reading some of the Church of Pamille Bible.

“Brooklyn!” Erika points at you.

“I’m sorry, but with what I studied of the Queens myself, this is like hearing a fairy tale.” you reply.

“What’s like hearing a fairy tale?” Latooni asks.

“Nothing!” You say quickly putting the book back into the row seat bookshelf.

“Oh Erika you were right! This religion isn’t anything like I thought it was!” Leona says nearly tackling her cousin in a hug.

Erika just laughs, embracing her cousin as she crashes into her. “Oh?”

“Yes, the Church of Pamille is a religion that was originally made by Succubi and those words of wisdom from Empress Pamille, so we have a few important key lessons. Such as cooperating with others in order to properly expand, avoiding things such as stagnation wherever it may occur.” Latooni replies.

Hm, prompting advancement over stagnation? No wonder the Pride Demons don’t like it. “And here I thought humans joined the church merely to have set with Succubi.” you reply.

“And the polygamy.” Latooni replies.

“Latooni also told me a bit about herself! She’s a Miyian just like Amanda is!” Leona exclaims. “She can even forge artifacts!”

“Wait, *you* can forge artifacts!?” you ask in an impressed tone. Artifacts and relics are rare, potent items often passed through great demonic families. Even at their most basic level, they are weapons whose blade never dulls or breaks.

“Yes... I learned how when I was growing up as a smithy worker in New TO. Though there is one part of being a Miyian I’m not particularly proud of.” Latooni asks.

“Oh?” Erika asks. “What part?”

“...Well see, every Miyian has one area of Superscience they just seem to naturally excel in. For me, it’s weapons of destruction. I just often find myself questioning my reason for this religion accepting me at times. We try to teach peace and cooperation, and here I excel in making weapons of death.” Latooni says, a small frown on her face as she sighs. “You saw one of my self-protection weapons back when that Miyian Gang attacked us. That was a non-lethal version of one of my earlier works.”

“Yes, that’s right.” Latooni replies. “I am very experienced with the production of weapons, but I walked off that path long ago. The only thing that lies down that path is death and destruction. I want to use my gifts for the flourishing and benefit of both mankind and demonkind.”Latooni replies.

“But yet you used one of your weapons when the gang attacked us.” you point out.

Latooni looks a bit flustered when you point this out. “I did it because I wanted to help all of you! I believe that if one is careful you can avoid harming the other, but after a certain point I acknowledge that conversation or avoidance may be impossible! I just don’t like any of my creations taking a life no matter whose it is!”

People who were far more morally bankrupt than I have been known to become Saints after some realization. So I too patiently await the day I achieve such a realization.”

Those soliogram can't be larger than medium, though caster usually make them smaller to augment survivability. After a quick change into another body, your next trip over to the bar involves every intention in the world to do whatever the hell you want for the next bit and enjoy life before the next disaster happens. Finding actual Succubi from human women is a bit of a pain, and indeed you managed to accidently kiss one you mistook for a human. Nevertheless, using some of Mina’s tips and your own... experimentation with yourself, both you and your partner manage to have a great time together. ...In a rented room of course. You don’t want to even KNOW what’s on the walls in the public latrines.

After a good, solid, four hours of clubbing, you decide to make your way back to your own home tower. As soon as you enter, you can see what appears to be your father sitting in front of a fireplace reading a book, with Marina at a desk nearby doing paperwork.

Well... You guess putting it on for a *little* while won’t be that bad...

Taking off your clothes and stepping into the Succubus ‘armor’, you struggle to find something like a zipper on it, but as soon as you put it on the entire thing thing seems to adjust to your size. At first it’s a shock and somewhat uncomfortable, but once the adjustments are finished it does indeed feel like a second skin.

“...Oh good lord... My asschecks are totally exposed in this!” you mutter to yourself as you use the full sized body mirror in your room to look over your uniform. “And does this uniform need to push up and emphasize my breasts so much!? I’m seriously getting worried whenever they’re going to pop out at this rate!”

You try to push down you breasts, but only do so in vain. The armour ‘is’ magical, so hopefully, HOPEFULLY it’ll stick.

One thing you do notice however is how easily your aether tends to flow in this suit. It feels as if before you were channeling magic magic like a person with vision problems, but now you can feel the aether flowing through you far more easily.

“Hm...” you say raising up your head, engulfing it in a purple flame of darkness before looking at the mirror.

“Demon! I vow that someday I will take you down!” you can hear Rifter the Hero’s voice in your head.

“...Me? A demon?” you ask with a cocked hip and raised eyebrow.

Upon waking up the next day, you decide to head over early in the morning to catch Excel before she heads off to her own job. Leaving her a quick notice that she can head over to your new place after her job.

“Hm... Maybe I should buy some sweets for our family reunion~.” You say skipping over to the marketplace.

As you hum softly while window shopping the various treats, a massive jolt goes up your spine. Normally you heard only Gemelli can feel magical ‘pressure’, but this is so thick and full of malice that ice just seems to tear all the way up your spine and into your brain, which is now screaming at you “Run, Run now.”

Turning around to see what this dreadful power is, you can see what is the beginning of a demonic convoy walking down the street from the West, heading towards Lord Dio’s castle. Large Orge and Gorilla like bodyguards march down the street in black and white armored, emblem of that from a different noble house from Blizzarios’s.

Then you see it as he walks by. A Pride Demon with a rather lean face, but a sick twisted smirk of supreme confidence on his face as he walks by with black and white articulated armor with the Obscurité Family Seal proudly displayed, white shortsword hilted at his hip.

You can only hold your breath out of pure fear as he walks by you, and it’s only when he turns around to go to a new street do you collaspe, holding onto the window for support. Good lord! You didn’t need to turn on your Aura sight for that thing! You *felt* it! Up until now you always felt that if you were careful with your engagements you could take anything on, even Dio or Articus himself. But this... This thing will obliterate you the very instant you try and battle him, THAT you know.

“...Lady? Are you alright?” A young boy asks, looking concerned as you are hunched over for breath.

Basic deal after that is we are currently trying to meet succubi political leaders (only have one more to meet), get a secondary village set up for civilians with the upcoming war going on, and finally remove a Sharks vs. Jets rivalry between the Magic Users and the Tech Users (Okarians which we are part of and Miyians).

Currently people are doing some slice of life stuff, it's a staple of the quest.

You avoid the restaurant that Excel works in for fear of her ruining your date, again. As a small change of pace, you decide to go to what appears to be a breakfast and lunch cafe. There is no tea, but the variety of fruity drinks they have there makes you want to try those out as well. Much of the decor is that of a tropical environment, and many of the plates served are claimed to come from Hawaii itself.

The Draugr seems to be trying to slow us down and ruin our power base, currently (and is doing a decent job, we've got to be careful).

Most importantly. This will take time. The Succubus Hunt is gearing up now. If the fighting's already broken out, there's a good chance nothing we do will be able to stop it.

The other plan is far less complicated. Fewer points of failure. Less parts that are out of our control. Most importantly, it's a lot quicker. We just need to select a suitable target. It's a Smash & Burn, the attack will take little planning.

Shape-shifters + witnesses. Since they have the original Dragur in custody -with their own necromancers testing it- the connection to Undead is already there.

The Pride Demons didn't need any explanation for blaming the Succubi. If we have enough evidence pointing at them, we can afford to leave their motivation a mystery.

Learning a ritual =/= learning a control. As for "unwilling teacher" she teach at the library every once in a while and helped us when we asked for info on draugrs.

Undead don't have a monopoly on Necromancers. To the pride demon it might as well be a succubus creation.
