Well, he's basically a werewolf-themed 1st gen fighter with combat shapeshifting, a bit of taint, plenty of body modification (the power, taken various times), and a high Dormancy.

He's a purely physical fighter, and while he doesn't bite (he could, but doesn't), his claw power and mega strenght are both fairly high.

So, lots of lethal damage, mega strenght, and a dangerous ability to create clones. He uses the clones mostly for his finisher, the "Pack Hunt" tho

About playmates being novas... I doubt it. They are way too expensive to keep on your company unless there are special circumstances. Aritsu for example stays with the XWF because Ren (the doctor) is the best pn Nova medicine, and working there means her family (ie her sister) gets to have Ren as a doctor. Also, she likes Ned's honesty and how he hasn't actually tried anything improper with her. When you are that hot in a uniform that tiny, designed to be sexist, you are used to your bosses getting ideas.

You sit with Lyann and Mako during lunch. Lyann is actually there in person (she likes the XWF because the baselines are used to being around novas, so she gets a lot less grief) and having a nova-sized third bowl of chinese.

Mako cooked her and Lyann's lunch (and Ned if she had enough warning). The kitchen staff is ill-prepared to say no to the mega charismatic, friendly and gentle girl.

7 is pretty great, really. You have little trouble arranging things for Ami and Eldric. As it turns out, Ami comments about it to Brass and Python, and Samuel decides to ask Stella (his gf, not the drummer) to go skiing with him as well. As a girl from northern Africa, she is unlikely to have ever tried it.

With the morning and early evening done with, you pick up Lyann and Mako and drive to Lyann's place.

Mako goes in the rear seat (with the seatbelt on, of course!), enjoying the drive as she looks around while you drive. LA is positively tropical compared to the weather she is used to.

Lyann: "Maybe we should stop by Mako's place first? if you want to spend the night at my place, do you need your own pajamas, or are you fine using some of my clothes to sleep on?"

Mako: "Don't you have extra pajamas?"

Lyann: "I don't wear anything when I sleep. It's just so much more comfortable."

Lyann is wearing a long silk shirt and pants, and Mako is wearing a similar outfit (albeit in cotton) while Mao Mao runs around chasing a randomly rolling soft ball Lyann made for it. It has a tiny bell inside, and it's of course quite resistant and safe for the small pup.

Lyann: "Breathe while you stretch... see how Mako does it?"

The girls seem happy to give you lessons, and after that the lot of you meditate while Mao Mao sleeps exhausted on the wooden floor, taking advantage of the warm sunlight as it filters through the tall windows, completely worn out after chasing its toy for almost two hours.

Lyann: "That's it.. now try to imagine a drop of water falling into a small pong. It falls regularly, at its own speed. You have it?"

Ned: "Right"

Lyann: "Can you try and imagine another? it falls sliiightly slower. It too has its own speed. Try to use your fingers to follow the rythms if it helps."

Well, you recover about 5 quantum points, but I dont remember Ned spending any today anyway.

You also feel a "snap" as you learn the Compartmentalized Consciousness enhancement.

You can split your mind into several different "servers" so to speak, so that they can each take care of a different mental process. They are only as smart as the dots you assign them, however.

For example, an average human has intelligence 2. Ned has 5 and mega intelligence 4, so hes very intelligent, a genius, really.

You could break it into
Int 2/M Int 2
Int 3/M Int 2
Or any other combinations you want. Just remember your dots on mega int cannot exceed your dots on regular int.
If your "primary" mind gets mind controlled, it rolls intelligence against the secondary ones. If they win, you snap out of it.
This can also work as a emergency feature. You normally keep your mind as a single entity, and when you are successfully affected by a mental attack, you roll intelligence+m int and the successes are made into a secondary mind that wll try to wake you up afterwards by rolling int vs the controlled mind's int.

The puppy wakes up alone in the large room and starts crying. Mako immediately goes out to fetch it. She freezes for a moment when she realizes shes nude in the middle of the room, but since Ned went up to the penthouse, she sighs with relief and carries Mao Mao back with her.

Lyann: "Are you alright? you look all flushed again."

Mako: "I am, really"

Lyann: "Alright." -she pours some liquid soap on her hands and casually approaches Mako, starting to wash her upper body before remembering she's not with a clone.

Both girls have a slightly awkward moment, but Mako seems just confused while Lyann is frozen thinking of a way to apologize.

Mako: "I hadn't taken a shower with anyone since leaving China. I'm so used to washing my siblings at the orphanage, it was surprising to have someone do it for me."

Lyann: "Oh... should I stop?"

Mako: "I don't mind. It feels nice to be with someone."

The girls seem to share that sentiment, and enjoy their shower, taking a bit longer than Ned expected to reach the penthouse after chatting and washing each other for a while.

Lyann: "I think you should use a softer shampoo. Your hair looks nice, but I think you are burning it a little and your nova metabolism just fixes it almost right away, normally."

Mako: "Softer? I am simply using what the store clerk recommended."

Lyann: "Try a honey-based baby shampoo next time. I'll help you buy some tomorrow morning."

Mako: "I'd like that"

They are both freshly changed bathed when they reach the penthouse, wearing soft, long fluffy bathroom robes, oozing that nice "just showered" aura everywhere.

The long pants reach juuuust long enough to almost (but never) reach under your heels, and the shirt feels so natural you caught yourself checking to make sure you were wearing it, at least once.
