Yo nod at Lubu, he's competent and he'll take good care of the girl even if you don't like her.

"Aomi lets go help Shield and Spear dispatch those monsters!" It shouldn't take long for them to do it with your help. A few quick hops and you're well on your way towards the two of them. As you close the distance you see that the two anger monsters they're fighting against are the shape of a soccer ball and an american football with mouths as wide as they are and with very sharp pointy teeth. The soccer ball has muscled arms and legs much like a person while the american football is more...feral? It sort of moves like a mix between a dog and something else and both of them are easily two stories high.

You're not sure why but these two give you a bad feeling, like they're not really...something.

Amano effortlessly smacks away the fist of one of the monster while Michiko is still being protected by her partner's green aura. They are dancing around the monsters but the monsters themselves seem just fine. You reach the apex of your jump and ready your sword to slice one of their arms or legs off.

As you pick up speed you swing your sword on one of them as hard as you can.

It bounced off...you sword fucking bounced off. What is it made of?

You allow yourself a second of surprise as you fall and dodge a kick from the soccer ball as soon as you land. At least they're really damn slow.

it's as ridiculously corny enough for Precure

It's time you used what you've learned a long time ago. These targets are big enough and tough enough for you to be able to use it. You feel yourself grin at the chance to do some actual harm to these things. Michiko and Amano have taken to themselves to fight against the more oval one of the two which is just perfect for your intentions. "Aomi keep it busy! I'm going to do something different." You yell out

"As long as it isn't something crazy!" She yells out and you can see the grin on her face as well before she launches towards the huge soccer ball's legs. Dashes past them and hits them behind the knees with her axe using two quick blows. You try not to notice but she seems to be enjoying doing that way more than she should.

Whether she thinks she's helping you or stopping you from doing something that isn't good for your bones she is at least helping. You jump on the creature's forehead get into the infamous cutting cleaning sweep, which isn't unlike a particularly crude golf swing. You swing your blade and are welcomed with a shower of light and sparks as you cut the thing's forehead open with a surprising lack of resistance. You have barely enough time to celebrate as the monster swings his fist down on his head and aiming straight at you.

You quickly jump out of the way only to have the monster hit itself on the recently opened wound and widening it. As you soar through the air you stick your tongue out at it and say, "Sucker!"

You take the chance to look around towards where the doctor is and...weren't there supposed to be two monsters there? Why is there one really big one and why is it heading this way? Fuck you got to finish this quick. The others have noticed too. Aren't these things supposed to be weak? What's making them this tough?

You need to finish this quickly before the other monster and the doctor get here. Even though the monster is slow you don't know what sort of things it'll be capable of if these two are anything to judge by. As the monster is recovering and has its face planted into the ground youu charge towards it with the tip of your sword pointing forwards and straight into the wound on its forehead. Your sword strikes true and you quickly charge it with your energy before the humongous soccer ball has a chance to recoil in pain. Bots of pink lighting envelop its body and dissipate shortly after leaving its incredibly hard skin and it falls to the ground then...

Nothing.

You didn't purify it, you never had the ability to but at least this monster is out of the fight for now. Michiko and Amano are still struggling against it and they seem to be still dodging its attacks easily enough. These things are slow and dumb so there is nothing to worry about. BUt why are they so tough right now?

You spot the doctor on top of the huge monster which you now realize is made up the other two smaller ones. A basketball and a volleyball...whoever was made into these monsters you're sure they were fighting about something.

The doctor is smiling and has both hands in his coat pockets. He has the biggest shiteating grin you've ever seen in your short life. He's planning something, definitely something big.

You don't have time to deal with this, if the doctor goes down the monsters do too, or at least they're going to be severely weakened.

You jump up to the the outer castle wall and Aomi climbs up the castle proper. Both of you know exactly what you need to do as you run towards the Anger monster that is being ridden by the doctor. While you get there you expand your senses to make sure there are no other surprises along the way. Marcus is stil fighting against Momoko and Misa. The fight you left behind is still in the same situation with spear and shield slowly breaking past the monster's defenses.

There are no surprises, there is no backup nearby for the doctor. He is alone and even with the monster you can strike at him directly.

Aomi gets ready to lunge down at the monster with both of her hands on her axe. She leaps from her higher perch above the enemy and straight at the doctor. She is spotted way before she gets there but the doctor doesn't even bother moving or even look scared.

You leap as well in order to get to the same target. You're not going to let Aomi steal your kill.

However, as soon as your little sister gets near the monster her body relaxes completely and her axe falls out of her hands and the monster smacks her out of the way like it would a fly and launches her straight into the ground where she leaves a gash on the terrain where she lands.

The The doctor throws something that embeds itself on the ground near your sister.

Your vision goes red.

Fuck this guy.

You get close to the monster and when it does the motion to slap you out of the way meet him with your blade and knocking its hand away but sending you up high. The doctor is no longer grinning but you're to far to shittalk to each other.

The monster is still moving towards Green and Orange completely ignoring you.

You grit your teeth.

If Aomi wasn't fine the doctor wouldn't have taken the time to put whatever he threw at her. You really want to make him pay for everything that he's done even if he has been nice to you in the past. You charge at the monster's back as it gets closer to Michiko and Amano while the doctor focuses on looking behind and towards you. He seems, displeased? Disappointed? There are many feelings on his face but you don't really care either way.

You charge at him, sword in hand and imitate Aomi's previous attack on the huge monster by striking it with your sword with as much strength you can muster. The knee buckles but the monster keeps running, tough bastard. Both Michiko and Amano have already moved away from their fight with the american football to regroup for this monstrosity.

The doctor throws two-pronged knives at you that glow ominously but fail to hit you, every last one of them and the doctor's eyes narrows. You hear him speak through the sounds of battle, "Mirror Blade, among my best creations but also one of my most shameful failures." He aims what looks like a ray gun at you, "I will recover your memory crystal and prove I can make a loyal subject for my king after he finishes whatever he has planned for you."

At that point the monster grabs the other two monsters in its hands and grows even more and gets two extra arms. Jesus, how the hell are you supposed to take this guy out.
