The last thing you remember is finding out that you aren't even half-way down the rabbit hole of your past. The first thing you remember is a brand new day.

Your name is Alice, a prototype Infiltration/Assassination android and right now you are having breakfast while internally going over the rather confusing intelligence you managed to recover.

It seems the United States government assigned three missions to unknown parties, all based around areas that mesh with the specialities of your sister androids.

But why then isn't there a mission for you? What is different about what you are doing that you haven't been contacted by this unknown US General and given a mission?

You are brought out of your introspections by Ian's voice, "So Alice, I've got some stuff to do today, but would you like to come with me?"

You blink and look up at him, caught off guard, "Uh, yeah, sure." You quickly finish your meal and leave to shower and get dressed.

As you shower, your mind goes back to the intelligence. A helicopter, a virus, and one of the people responsible for the Battlefield Generation.

They're all connected, but how? And where does Project Golem fit into all of this?

You just can't see the bigger picture at play, not from where you are. You need more information, more clues, but where can you find them?

You decide to keep it at the back of your mind for now, and finish your shower.

Dressed and ready to go, you leave the apartment with Ian, ready for anything that might occur.

1d100 for general voting, best roll out of five is chosen.

Combat is 1d100 with modifiers for how many shots you fire in combat. Best out of three roll is chosen.

Burst Fire and Full-Auto Fire attacks can be done multiple times in one action, but each attack after the first incurs a cumulative -10 penalty.

Body armour subtracts from total damage done per attack.

You can target multiple enemies in a single action. Roll 1d100+modifier for each target. Specify for each roll the target and the attack used.

Takedowns and Executions are 1d100-20 and a short paragraph describing the Takedown or Execution. Best out of three rolls is chosen, but I will pick which action description looks the best to me.

Reactor Charges are your healing mechanic. Expend a Reactor charge and roll 12d6. Reactor Charges stack, and are regained through Takedowns and Executions.

Stability is a measure of your Yandere psychological state. If you lose a certain amount, known as the Snap Limit, you Snap and enter a state of emotional hysteria and brief psychosis. Lose all your Stability, and you go Berserk, and will perform a violent action, often against your love interest.

Relationship is how strong your relationship with Ian Carter is. You have to keep your relationship as high as possible. If you drive the relationship down into negative numbers, Ian will reject you, and you will proceed to murder him and commit suicide.

Good luck.

"So listen, about what you said yesterday," Ian starts, "I...talked to my boss and they want to meet you and give you a job."

You turn your head slightly as he continues, "The pay isn't great, but I met a lot of great people and well, I think you'd like them as well."

Hmm...

You smile and hug him, "I'm sure I'll love them." You make a mental note to check for any love rivals and calculate ways to murder them without leaving any traces.

You have a lot of ways to do that fortunately, as the two of you walk down the streets and soon enough you see the Mistral in the distance.

"So what's your boss like?" You ask as if you haven't the foggiest idea what you're getting into.

"Oh, they're great!" Ian says unconvincingly and you narrow your eyes as your kinesics easily detect that he's not just nervous.

He's scared and in that moment you want nothing more than to remove the Red Queen's head from her shoulders as you both head into the Mistral.

"This way." Ian says and you narrow your eyes in the darkness, easily following him up the stairs and into the VIP area.

Once inside, you easily spot the Red Queen, along with a small group of teenagers. Including some rather pretty girls, you note while subtly increasing the size of your bust in the darkness.

"So, Ian, who's this new girl that you seem to think I can't do without?" The Red Queen drawls before taking a long drag on that cigarette she never seems to be without.

Ian gives you a small nudge and you fix a cheerful smile on your face as you approach, "Hi there, my name's Alice!"

You gain a good deal of pleasure at seeing the Red Queen's eyes twitch wider in surprise for an instant, before she's all smiles again, "Well now, how do you do?"

She holds out her hand and you skip forward and grab it, instantly feeling her increase her grip in a blatant attempt at dominance.

>Beat Her Grip

You keep your smile up as you squeeze back hard and sharply, maintaining it only for a few brief seconds, but it's enough for the Red Queen to notice.

She releases your hand and leans back on her seat, seemingly relaxed but you can tell that you just lit an alarm in her head through kinesics.

But considering that she sent a clean-up crew after you, or maybe tried to kill Cassandra, you don't feel any real regret.

You take your own seat as she smiles at you, "I like you kid." Liar, "in fact, I like you so much that I'm going to give you a job."

You keep your smile up as you nod, "Sounds great, what's the job?"

"You're going to pick up a package for me and deliver it. Simple as that." She regards the others, "Now then, as you may have heard, some of your friends got arrested, but that's fine. It means you all get a two day working vacation."

She turns to one of the two girls in the room, "Zwilnik, I want you to keep an eye on the Samsonov executive in charge of the testing facility, get his timetable and find out when he's supposed to next arrive so we can plan for the operation."

She then turns to another girl, "Harrison, make sure the guns you promised are ready by the time my people get the others out of the holding cells."

You tune out the others, mostly noting that Red Queen's team is made up of teens skilled in hacking, breaking and entering and sabotage.

Finally, she turns to you, "And I have a special task for you rookie. I need you to set up surveillance cameras around the Samsonov facility, especially the front entrance, so we can observe the incoming and out-going traffic for an infiltration route."

You smile, "Sounds easy enough."

"You'd think so, wouldn't you?" Red Queen smirks and you avoid frowning at the way she's baiting you.

-"Is that all you need me to do?"
-"So where do you want me to go pick up the cameras?"

I held the fort alone, but considering that we're known to have taken down an armored unit with at most 4 people, it's not too much of a loss.
>>
>"So where do you want me to go pick up the cameras?"

The Red Queen smiles, "There's an old man in the Slums, a real whiz with technology, who's making the cameras for me in order to pay off a debt. You go pick up the cameras and set them up, and I'll pay you for each camera set up. Make sure they're not visible to any casual observation, and you'll get a bonus."

"Sounds like fun." You reply and stand up, brushing your jeans to smooth out the wrinkles, "Where do I need to go?"

The Red Queen provides you with a name and location in the Slums and you immediately head off to collect the necessary materials.

As you leave, you note with some displeasure that one of the girls is looking at Ian with attraction in her eyes.

You make a mental note to deal with her once this is over.

Out on the streets, you check the location on your maps and note something strange.

It matches with a location you were given by Rebecca for her 'old friend'.

Interesting coincidence, but you know better than to let it lie like that. You continue heading down the street and into the Slums.

As you walk down the dirty streets, you note that there are various RFID tags marking territory belonging to various groups.

It also helps you keep your bearings as you navigate the maze of makeshift dwellings in the ruined buildings.

Finally, you reach a shack sitting in front of a mini-junk yard, and from where you are standing you can hear the sounds of machinery operating.

The area in front of the shack is far, far too clean for a place like this, and you can see no other activity while the rest of the Slums are buzzing with people.

You look around, cycling vision modes, and you spot them set up in the windows, super-high resolution cameras, motion-detecting radars, directional microphones, a wide selection of detection gear is focused on the open area.

And then you see them, gun turrets, ranging from small machineguns to massive assault cannons. You even spot what looks like a pair of aircraft rocket pods.

This is a killzone, pure and simple.

You take in a deep breath and call out across the space, "Excuse me! I'm here for the cameras!"

The sound of machinery stops and after a few minutes a voice replies over a loud-speaker, "Okay, come on in"

You smile in relief and cross the empty space, keeping your hands visible in case he's aiming a weapon at you.

Your suspicions about that prove correct as a flap drops down and the door opens to reveal the person you have been sent to see.

You blink, and then stare.

"Hey! You da girl sent to pick up me ickle cameras eh?" The dark-skinned man asks as he puffs on his cigar, looking at you with a set of cybernetic eyes while his cyborg arm waves at you.

"Y-yeah," you reply, you don't think you've seen functional Wuxing cybernetics before, the company's building was levelled by a tac-nuke during the Chaos Twenty, destroying the company and frying all of it's manufacturing capability.

"Well come on in den, I gots all the good stuff forz ya!" You have difficulty placing his accent, your systems come up with at least six different countries.

"Here ya go! Got me some of dem sick high-resolution lenses, make them visual just pop out!" He digs into his collection of junk and pulls out a large box, "Here ya go! Tell dat bitch I'm even ya? Last time I work for free for that Bomba scuzz!"

You take the box and consider what to do. He could be helpful, considering how little of an opinion he has for Red Queen.

But he could also turn you in later, after all you don't need to like someone to work for them. You just have to fear them.

Also, could he be who Rebecca was talking about?

>"Actually, I was wondering if you knew Rebecca?"

>OR we just take the cameras and leave.
>>
>"Actually, I was wondering if you knew Rebecca?"

"Rebecca? Oh, ya! I remember Rebecca! She saved me during da War! Dragged me bleeding carcass out of dat snake-nest in Malaya, brought be to dis skeez doctor in a back-alley and came back with a buncha Wuxing parts, still warm and bloody! Saved me life!"

He happily claps you on the shoulder with his human arm, "So what's brings a pretty ickle ting like you into my shop eh? Especially if you're picking up cameras for that skeez Red Queen?"

You look around and he notices, "Naw, ya best be believin' yous safe here, I gots eyes all over dis little slice of me pie, no-one's coming dat I don't see." He taps the side of his head, "Eyes, I, get it?"

You giggle as he laughs before looking at you, "So what you doin here if ya know Rebecca?" You look away and he smiles, "Oh, gonna help her boy escape eh? I like dat. Tell you what, since you helping Rebecca, I help you."

He gently takes the box away from you vanishes into his workshop, "Now you don't go nowhere, I'll be back!"

You find a relatively clean place to sit down and begin waiting for the man to reappear, trying not to feel paranoid.

You look around at the various parts and materials, noting that the place is very well-equipped for the fabrication of robotics.

"Here we are!" He reappears and hands you a box, "Specially modified, so Rebecca and her crew sees the same as that scuzz!"

You take the box with a smile, "Thank you so much, this will help a lot!"

"Ah, you just kick that bitch's ass!" He smiles at you, "When you're done, come on back, I can always use some help with some stuff."

You nod and leave the shack with the box in your hands. It's fairly unwieldy and noticeable, you need something better to hold it in.

Sister.

You stiffen at the voice in your head, "What do you want?"

Can't I speak with my sister? Oh, you have so many eyes Sister, and they see for two masters. But there is a way to turn this to all of our advantages.

"And what sort of advantage would that be?" You ask, "While I'm thankful for them, I need more than scraps to satisfy me."

Oh sister, dear sister, a feast is about to be held, and you are the guest of honour. But first, tune the cameras to this frequency when they are installed. When they become my eyes, that cute boy's life will be more than amply protected from harm.

You grit your teeth at the amused tone in her voice, "Stay away from my Ian."

Heheheheh...

As the voice fades, you grimace and leave the area, preparing to search for a bag to carry the cameras in.

You find a discarded duffel bag, and as you check it over, you find a lighter made entire of platinum. You pocket it, it could belong to someone, it could be useful, or you could sell it.

After dumping the cameras into the bag, you begin heading towards the Perimeter Wall, checking your maps when you notices that you can take a much shorter route by going through a ruined industrial area not cut off by the wall yet.

It could be risky, but it'll cut your travel time in half at least.

You decide that time is off the essence and begin heading towards the hole in the perimeter wall, taking to the rooftops as normal.

You arrive to find a ruined industrial area, factories and warehouses arrayed in front of you, and you can pick out the flitting forms of police drones as you check your systems.

You sling the bag over your shoulder and jump down to head into the ruins.

The industrial ruins are overgrown and decaying, but you can navigate them easily enough, when you hear the whirring of drone motors and hide in a corner as one passes by.

Your AR picks up the large circle that acts as their area of denial, marking anyone inside it as unauthorised and more than likely to be shot on sight.

You draw your pistol and get ready for action.

You're now one third of the way to the Samsonov facility and now you have to head down a straight avenue and there are a group of drones patrolling it.

Your sprint reaches the end of the avenue and you look back with a smile at seeing the drones continue their patrols, none the wiser for your mad dash past them.

You turn and continue deeper into the ruins, rolling into a building and jogging through it to bypass a patrolling Boxer UGV as it strides past.

You are now two-thirds of the way to the Samsonov facility, but the area before you looks particularly daunting. A forest of ruined steel beams stands before you, and in the distance you see it, a UGV-variant Mini-Abrams.

There's no way you can get past that 20mm Vulcan Cannon and 40mm Grenade Machinegun just by running, this is going to take some stealth.

You roll your shoulders and crouch down low, before sneaking up to a low wall in a crouch-walk.

You roll over the wall and stay low as you crouch-walk into the center of the maze, carefully tracing your way past the Mini-Tank as it rolls past, Vulcan Cannon shifting from side to side as it searched for targets.

You press down low as the turret turns in your direction, and after several seconds you hear the turret whir as it shifts in another direction and you resume sneaking past, pulling yourself up and over a fence to find yourself on an industrial access road.

You immediately break into a sprint and head towards the Samsonov facility.

However, as you run towards the facility, you spot a car broken down on the side of the road.

As you get closer, you find that a man is busy trying to fix his engine, his wife and two children watching as he struggles to get the car started again.

Your systems could probably pick out the problem and create a temporary fix until they can reach a mechanic, but you have a job to do as well and you could probably just let him keep working, he looks like he's finding the problem.

You calmly shift your skin tone until a pretty black girl is now jogging up to the man and his family, "Hi there, you need a hand?"

The sweaty man looks up and smiles gratefully as your systems keep an eye out for any suspicious radio transmissions, "Thank you, I just don't know what went wrong. We drove out here to visit my brother at his workplace and the engine just started spewing steam."

He indicated the engine and you take a look inside. Something had burst or split and your systems begin search for the root cause.

You find it nestled in a difficult to reach area, a popped connection. Your systems suggest a simple fix that should keep it together until they can reach a mechanic.

Strange, it looks like it's been undone deliberately. You pull your head back and turn to the man.

>Look at the Child

You take a brief look at the child, ready for some kind of advanced humanoid UGV, maybe an M-59 Kill Doll.

A normal little boy stares back at you with bright green eyes and a smile as he waves at you. You look at the parents, before slowly relaxing, "Sorry, I'm trying to stay in shape. But thank you for the offer."

The woman and her husband smile, "That's fine. You take care now." The three of them get back into the car and after a moment it starts and drives off.

You sigh and continue running to the Samsonov facility, hoping not to run into any more surprises on the way.

Thankfully for your nerves you don't encounter any more stranded people on the road and you reach the perimeter fence with plenty of time to spare.

You head for a tall building under construction and with the aid of some zoom-enhanced vision, you begin looking over the facility and what options you have to plant the cameras.

The building where you are now gives a good overview of the facility, but it lacks any good angles on key areas like the testing area or the entrance.

The facility has an open field that is likely set aside for future development, you can even see marker flags set in the ground. Any cameras you place there would be solely to observe the team's progress.

The entrance from where you can see is heavily guarded and protected by a partially fortified gatehouse and three sets of heavy security gates. Cameras planted there would at least tell you if the test pilots are arriving for their test flight, as would anyone important.

You have no view of the testing area, you'd need to infiltrate the facility directly in order to place cameras there.

You manage to spot the helicopter as it comes in for landing, giving you a rough idea of where to go from there.

You stand up and get ready to get to work.

(Okay, it's getting way too hot down where I am, so I need to call it in early. Cyberpunk Yandere Quest Part 16 will be up 5:00AM, GMT+10)
