You are Selena Psylock, and you have engaged in an epic quest with your Great Uncle to find the origins and meaning behind a strange black book dating back to the ancient Old Empire. The first village you came to after leaving you home town was a burnt out wreck with only a single survivor. A young boy buried in rubble and babbling about a lightning god and his followers bearing a bleeding heart. While there you met a strange Avatar Pilot from the Far East, El Loco Halcon, a masked pilot with a masked avatar. He seems a little odd, but honorable (despite having tried to body slam your great uncle into paste with his Avatar over a misunderstanding).

Now you stand in the ruins, watching as a large group of armed men bearing a banner depicting a bleeding heart descends upon the village ruins from the direction of the great city of Light Needle.

You and Halcon stand in the ruins, under cover, as is your uncle in the ruins with the wounded child. Your Avatars are probably obscured at this distance from those encroaching upon the ruins, but even a cursory search will almost certainly reveal them, as will any attempts to move them from their current location at any sort of speed, though you might just manage it if you can get below the water line and hold your breath long enough.

What do you do?

>Prepare to ambush these guys.
>Try to talk with them. (Saying what?)
>Charge them before they can even reach the ruins.
>write in.

Anything that doesn't involve talking with these guys (and only talking with these guys) will require a roll.

----
Also a warning, I'll need to take an hour to hour and a half long break around 8:30pm CST. Lasting to between 9:30 and 10:00pm CST.
>>
>>30679920
What did we find when we searched the village last time?
>>
>>30680037
An anti divine magic spear, and the kid in the rubble. Everything else had been throughly smashed or looted.
>>
>>30679920
Can we go scout these guys out? See if they have any anti magic weapons.
>>
>>30680173
You'll need to roll for it, and doing as much in your Avatar is probably not possible.
>>

You slide out of your Avatar, with Deus Sinistram protesting empathically into your mind right up until the point of disconnect.

You whisper to Halcon. "Watch my back alright? I'm going to talk to them."

"Are you sure that's wise Seniorita?" He says, visibily rubbing the back of his neck as he retreats to his own Avatar, sliding into it's chest cavity and activating it. There's the slightest rumble from the massive stony figure, and then it goes silent. Thankfully it's a physical type, very little glow and leakage from it.

You walk cautiously out to meet the figures. You can see they have no spears like the one you recovered, but they are armed with strange devices tubes about the length of your arm with handles under them that the figures grip. Tubes attached to them slide up to attach onto arm bands wrapped around the figure's holding appendage.

They are dressed in odd white robes, spattered in what looks like dark red dye. Or, your mind thinks trecherously, old blood. Over their hearts is the symbol of a bleeding heart, stabbed through by a dagger. The leader's dagger is bronze to the black ones of most of the figures.

He walks forward, and you notice he has a small hand weapon in his belt, it looks very much like the tip of the spear you recovered.

"State your business here traveler." He says simply, You can't see his face under the cowl of his hood.

"Um, I was going to ask you the same thing, I was just passing through... I thought to resupply here and found this. Do you guys know what happened here?"

There's some shuffling from the 20 odd figures behind the leader, who doesn't appear to react at all, he simply stands there, face shrouded in darkness behind the red spattered white hood. "No..." he says after a long while. "A detachment of my Reviver breathern were located here... they...." and he seems to pause, thinking for a moment, about what it's hard to say "They did not report back on time... so we came to investigate"
>cont.

>>30680452
It's hard to tell when this disaster struck, but for the kid to be alive, it must have been within the last day or so... and the next village, according to your uncle, is over a week away, and that was by mount, not by foot. They'd have had to leave before the attack struck, it wouldn't make sense for them to have 'missed' a runner so quickly.

>Wat do?
>>
>>30680475
Ask them if they have any medics in their group. There's a survivor in need of medical attention.
>>
>>30680572
Just a reminder, these guys bear a bleeding heart, and the child was babbling about how a similar group was responsible for blowing the place up. You sure you want to do this?
>>
>>30680632
Never mind then. I forgot about that.Probably best to let them pass
>>
>>30680572
"Look there's a child who is hurt and-"

The leader raises a hand and those behind him raise their strange pipes. "Kill the girl, sweep the village, recover the Divine Key. Find the survivor and kill him as well." The holes in their pipes begin glowing before jets of condensed and volatile divine essence shoot out of them at you!

Going to need a roll for all of this!
>Run like jiminy! Get to the nearest cover!

You run like hell. As you do, you feel the beams of divine essence carve into the ground around you as you duck and weave. Thank the ancestors these fuckers don't seem to actually know how to shoot those things given how wide the blasts of firery energy are going around you.

You manage to make it back to the ruins just as El Loco Halcon rises up in a massive leap above the ruins he was hiding in with your Avatar. His Avatar's streamers and ribbons flying in the air as he comes down with an elbow slam in the middle of the scattering group of robed men and women. "JUSTIIIIIIIIIICIIIIIIIIIAAA!" he cries as he flys through the air and causes the ground to rumble under the impact of his fall.

Deus seems to come alive at your touch, almost as if he's helping you into his body. His chest cavity closing shut and the misty streams of teal divine essence leaking from his body almost before you're fully linked into him.

He rises up, mud and dust that splashed onto him during Halcon's impact falling off of him as you get a view of the field of battle from his eyes.

The figures are all attacking El Loco Halcon, the beams of divine essence burning off layers of paint and dye, but not harming the Avatar itself. Apparently their weapons were not meant for harming avatars...

Or so you think until several turn their weapons onto you. They STING. Like someone driving tacks into your arm as they leave scorch marks against Deus' massive left arm.

How do you want to go about this? Rolls needed.

Deus' empathic link with you howls for blood. He sees the marks, the hand weapon, and it's as if he recognizes them. There is no doubt from him that these people destroyed the town, and that surity fills you.

Some small part of you quails that this is wrong, killing monsters is one thing, but these are normal humans! Even if they attacked you!

That part of you is drowned out by not only Deus' rage and blood lust, but by your own righteous anger. How dare ANY human being turn against another. Life is hard enough, a daily struggle against the wilds and the beasts in them without murderers and madmen killing.

Your great sword sweeps low across the ground, not so much cutting as crushing 4 men into bloody pulps. Dying what little white is left in their robes a deep crimson as you hurl them away. Pinpricks of blood flow down your arm and other parts of your body as they turn their assault onto you.

Halcon roars again, and his massive fists drive down at the leader, then he is thrown back, black cracks eminating across his Avatar's fists from where they connected with the up riased spiral tinned handweapon the leader of the group holds.

"BLASPHEMERS! GOD SLAVERS! BOW BEFORE THE MIGHT OF THE TRUE LORDS OF THIS WORLD! He leaps at Halcon, stabbing again and again with his sparking dagger, causing Halcon, the avatar, to scream out. No hint of his pilot's voice is in that scream, an unearthly, rumbling noise of pain and confusion from a creature that has never known pain until this moment.

Your Jitte armed hands crush another 3 robbed figures between you and Halcon. But you notice the rest are scattering into the ruins. Some towards the water, some towards the road, and others towards where your Great Uncle and the wounded young boy are.

What do you do?

"HALCON! GET UP AND FOLLOW ME!" You shout as you run after the figures, the screams of Halcon's Avatar behind you as you sweep your blade, killing half the figures in an explosion of gore as the others climb into the rubble that blocked your initial passage into the area.
There's an explosion of sparks as one of them is gored through the chest by the double tined spear weilded by your Great Uncle, the elder man's face set in a grimmace of anger and determination.

"Get back from my patient you demon worshipping mongrels!" he shouts, the sparks were created when the spear came into close contact with the dead man's strange essence projecting weapon. He drops the spear and then brings a large calloused fist up to bear right into the hood of the man running at him. The man, who turns out to be a woman as the hood goes back from the blow, falls back, right under your foot as it comes down on the figure with a wet, popping, cracking squelch.

The young boy, thankfully, seems to be asleep for the moment, spared from the gore that splashes far enough to spatter onto his cheek with hot droplets of blood.

The last of the cultists is currently having the tar beaten out of him by your Great Uncle, who uses his large, ham like fists to pummel the figure's head and upper torso with hard, thumping blows.

This situation dealt with, you turn back to see Halcon retreating, one entire arm of his Avatar has been covered in the black cracks, still intact for the most part, but probably useless until it's repaired. The leader nimbly dodges blow after blow from Halcon's Avatar, striking with his strange hand weapon every chance he gets as Halcon falls back, trying to ward off the figure. He finally manages to get his Avatar's toe under the dirt and kicks a massive wave of mud over the man, giving him some breathing room.

The man gets up only to see your massive blade coming down upon him. He tries to get his handweapon up in time, but it's covered in a thick coat of mud. The mud hardens into a ceramic like coating as the sparks ignite and dry it out quickly, but that only blocks the sparks even more. Blood and Gore mixes with the mud as he is crushed beneath your massive blade.

No other culists remain that you can see. They have fled up the road or into the swampy forests around the village.

Meanwhile your Great Uncle seems to have finished beating the tar out of the cultists who was left alive. The man is still breathing, in a bubbles in the blood I'm spitting up kind of way.

What do you do now?
>See to Halcon's Avatar. Perhaps it can be repaired here?

That roll is why the ceramic was thick enough to block the sparks. You guys would have kept your sword, but it would've been pretty badly damaged.

Frankly I'd upgrade our blast as fast as possible. Armor's useless if we can end fights in a hit, doesn't mean we'll never get some, but it shouldn't be our primary focus.

Also armored enemies will be far more numerous than ones with the kind of abilities we need to boost our spearblade.

You try to see if any of the weapons survived. Sadly none did. They were fairly delicate it seems, or at least, they were delicate under the combined attacks of two Avatars and a spear that destroys divine magics. The only remotely intact one fell too close to the spear after your Great Uncle was finished beating the tar out of the surviving cultist.

You and your Great Uncle pack up as quickly as possible. He takes a moment to dispassionately slit the last cultist's throat before moving to pick up the boy. The young boy is wrapped up tight and cradled against him as he rides the Stork with you and Halcon.

The pair of you make your way up the road, when Halcon sees the fleeing members of the cult, he literally just rips up a large slab from the road, and hurls it like a frisbee. The move is too slow to be used in combat, but for picking off a running target? Well there's no survivors, and the three of you just walk past the carnage. You are now moving on, a little over a week till you arrive at the next town, and two further weeks after that to arrive in Light Needle.

You keep moving up the road, wary of attack, until night fall. At which point you camp out for the night. Halcon has yet to remove his mask, and doesn't seem that he's likely too as he steps down out of his Avatar to go over to the young boy and your great uncle.

"Will he make it?"

"He will if he survives the trip to the next town... what about your Avatar?"

"It has seen worse. I can repair it in Light Needle I am sure." He shakes his head, "but perhaps it would be best if we split ways? You say you came from a village further in the other direction? I've lost some time, but in the morning I could take the boy and get there with greater speed. Maybe as little as a day if I push myself. Would that be better you think?"

He looks to you for an answer.
>>
>>30683422

>>30683492
"You should head back. We have a physical type avatar as well, and they might need reinforcements if these monsters try to attack there. Plus, the kid stands a better chance getting someplace fast right."

He nods. "I'll leave first thing in the morning then." Your uncle nods, having set the kid up in a small cot. "He should last the night. After that, it's in the hands of fate." He wipes the sweat from the kid's brow, then moves to his pack, pulling out the two weapons. "Divine Keys, a small one and a greater one. How odd. These are supposed to be spectacularly rare."

"Then why did a group of them have so many?" You ask, leaning over them.

"I do not know, but I feel it can hardly be a good omen. And that bleeding heart... it is familiar to me... but I can't be certain." He sighs, rubbing his eyes. "I've never heard of a lightning god though before, maybe it was some really powerful avatar? I think this village worshipped their local avatar as a protective deity..."
>>

Prompt?
>>
>>30684357
Sorry, got called away by an emergency. Back now.

I can fast forward to the next town, or you guys can do something tonight if you like. Hunting is again an option, but the more often you do it, the crazier things are going to get. You can also talk with Halcon about where he's from or this tournament. Finally, you can talk with your uncle about his suspicions, or about Divine Essence and how it functions and divine magic in general.
>>
>>30684464

>is it furry
>or scaly
or a seagull
>>
>>30684591
You're not quite in seagull territory yet (It's almost as terrifying as bat country. But you're too far east for that).

And it's up to a roll of the dice. The more you guys hunt, the more you'll clear the place of 'weaker' monsters unless you roll against the really powerful ones.
>>
>>30684748
hmmm i do really wanna get at least one good offensive ability before the needle
>>
>>30684564
(going with this until we get a hunt or not hunt vote)

You go to your uncle. "Great Uncle? Can you help me understand how all this." she waves at the Avatars and at some of the pieces of divine magic he's tinkering with, "work exactly?"

He looks up at you, surprised, "You've never shown terribly much interest before, but I guess under the circumstances it's understandable." He nods, "Sit down child." he pats the ground next to him and begins to move the bits and pieces around so you can see them better.

"Divine Magic works on the basis of divine essence, all things have it, but not all things can tap it. Even humans have trouble tapping it. We use these to do so." he presses his hands against your still bandaged tattoos.

"Spell Script is what lets us access the divine essence inside of us. Sometimes it has to be put onto us in the form of a tattoo, sometimes it is inlayed into an object."

"But what IS divine essence."

"Some compare it to life force, but that is not strictly true. I would say it is our potential to shape the world around us."

He considers for a moment. "How much energy does it take to move a rock?"

"Not a lot, if it's a small rock."

"Okay, but if you have many people working together, they can move many rocks, they can build a village."

"Yeah, that's obvious."

"How much energy was necessary to make them start moving rocks?"

You look blankly at him. "Well... not a lot I guess... just some talking and decision making right?"

"Exactly. Someone starts with the idea to make a village, and suddenly you have many people moving many rocks. How much power does an idea have?"

"I guess a lot under that context..."

>cont.
>>
>>30684972
"THat's what divine essence is. The distilled form of that. It was how the Old Empire was powered. They got rid of the middle man of talking, and used divine essence to directly change the world around them." He points to the Avatars, "Those are possibly the weakest form of it. Brute force application. Yours is might yes, it can change it's very fabric, it's very existence by absorbing the essence of those it defeats, but others are merely able to translate the power of a thought, of an idea of moving a thing, and pour all of that energy into moving."

He finishes and looks at you expectantly, waiting for any questions or comments.
>>
>>30684984
so how?
how did they make a great pit of it were did all that come from?
>>
>>30684984
So how would you increase how much divine essence you can use? if you kept lifting bigger and bigger rocks eventually you'd be able to lift them without a village
>>
>>30685018
You describe the great pit before, and then he looks at you solemly. "Probably from criminals and monsters and other living things. That substance wasn't exactly divine essence, it was something that stores it. It was capable of rendering a thing, a person, down into divine essence and nothing else. Reducing their matter and soul to a liquid substance that could then power their empire. It is said that at the Height of their empire, a single person's sacrifice might power one of their magnificent towers for a year, if supplemented by monsters slain down in the wilds. We do not know how they so efficiently used divine essence to day. Even Light Needle has only it's most essential parts turned on, the great majority of it's lights are powered by oil from the kraken and leviathan they hunt out at sea.
>>
>>30685081
What about the beasts, if all life contains divine essence are there monsters strong enough to put it to use?
>>
>>30685077

"So how do I increase my own divine essence?"

"You can't, you can only figure out how to use it more efficiently. It's not like muscles. Your spirit is something you are born with, it is your intrinsic nature. It can change, but it takes a great deal of effort. To learn to use it more efficiently takes great practice with divine magics, or with arcane magics if you have the talent. Removing body parts is said to focus the mind more on the spiritual and allow a body to tap their divine essence more efficiently. Certain artifacts can also store divine essence for later use so that it need not be drawn from the body directly. The northern barbarians use such artifacts frequently.

>>30685133
"Some are, the most intelligent. Those who organize other monsters and hunt villages. They tend to have as much divine essence as a human. There are great bounties on such beings to take them in alive for the cities, since they can be used to make Avatars who take on their attributes it is said. Most monsters have relatively little divine essence however, as much as half that of the most spiritually weak human you can imagine."

You decide to go out hunting. Wading out into the swamps in the dead of night. It's almost impossible to see, when you start noticing a burning smell... slightly acrid and metalic. A lightning Avatar had that smell once, the owner had called it Ozone.

You hear a howl, and running over the water past you is a wolf, a wolf the size of a small house, and made entirely of lightning. Mist radiates off of his body and from where his paws and claws sink into the water. He seems to be able to stand on it. You've heard of such creatures, elementals. They are exceedingly rare, beasts bred by the Old Empire for sport, as pets, as beasts of burdern and war. This must be a Kirin. It skids to a halt on the water and turns towards your avatar, and a pair of branching electrical horns, that had blended into it's body while it was running, begin to arc up off of it's head as it stares at you with two brilliant points of light that are about where it's eyes should be.

There are legends about what the remains of elementals can be used for... you can't imagine what this Kirin might be capable of enhancing your Avatar to be able to do.

How do you want to handle this? You're knee deep in muddy water against a lightning based enemy. There are areas of high ground around you, but they are small. The trees around you are sturdy as well, they MIGHT take Deus' weight for a while before snapping.
>>
>>30685374
summon our beetles, have them bring down the tress around us for more foot holds and blocking the kirin from charging directly at us
>>
>>30685374

The creature charges at you from that distance, closing impossibly fast. Your great spear slams into one of the near by trunks, felling it right into the path of the charging lightning wolf. It sets it ablaze as it crashes into it with a sound like thunder in the sky. Knocking you back.

You begin to fell tree after tree, creating a path around you, a lattice-work of wood and leaves for you to stand upon, it's not fantastic, and it's sinking slowly into the mud, but it connects a few of the high points in the swampy ground, and the slippery wood provides enough traction to stand upon.

The massive creature stands on the wood, burning it through as it stands, and then roars at you with a rumbling of thunder.

Your beetles come into existence moments later, lunging and jumping at the figure, chittering and snapping, their essence bodies damaged the moment they slice into the creature. They will not last long attacking the beast.

You roll back from it's charges, the sucker is fast moving, but you can see how it stops and has to actually turn itself before moving again. Sometimes it jinks to the right or left while moving, but for the most part you can see that path it takes. Several times you notice it sends out a feeler of lightning before it, and then follows the path of that feeler as closely as possible in a blur that is nearly impossible to focus.

You pull your beetles back, getting them to nip and stab at the creature as best they can, though it doesn't seem very effective. Distracting, but not effective.

For more effective is when it sends out a feeler, and yu position your yourself right in it's path, using you spear at about knee level to it and slcing off it's leg as it runs past.

The creature lets out a howl of anguish and pain as it tumbles, scattering water, steam, and the smell of ozone every where as it rolls, turning mud to ceramic and water to steam and stands once more. It's leg has regenerated almost instantly! It seems slightly less brilliant than before however.

You use the same technique, but this time it changes, it jinks at the last moment as you swing for it's center of mass, and then turns on you. At point blank range it rams into you like a bolt of godly wrath. Pain dominates your world as your vision goes white, then black, and you feel extra crispy all over as essence is transfered from your body and you take a smaller form of the damage instead of Deus.

This creature is smart. It'll need to be tricked and lured, harried. It wasn't about to risk being struck by your blade again if it could help it, and it wanted you DEAD for the wound you had already lain on it. It opened it's mouth, and your entire Avatar shook as thunder rolled over it's armored shell.

The area is a bunch of cut down trees linking sand and mud bars that peek above the Avatar-knee deep water. The trees form a lattice work that you are currently standing upon to stay out of the water, but your own weight, and the burns left from the passage of the Kirin are slowly wearing them away. You still have all 6 beetle summons, but they are on their last legs from the lightning damage they take every time they bite the Kirin.

You roll and dodge, you jink and change directions. You use all three of your hands to control the spear-sword better and to control it's movement and reach to a greater degree. You take burns, but more than once you sacrifice a beetle to it's charge to give you more time to dodge, or to clutter it's vision as you slice off a limb. Each time you do, it grows dimmer, and you start to see the inner body more clearly. A roiling storm cloud that is the source of it's power. You dodge weave, and then you dip in, slicing down then to the side as it dodges in the direction you predicted, slipping the blade through it's dimmed side and into the storm cloud, then pulling it out before the sword can melt, though it's red hot as you remove it.

The creature bolts out of your attack range the moment your sword is free of it. It's mewling and howling in turns from the pain of having it's core sliced into that way. It's steps burn the wood less and the steam clouds from the water are fewer as well. It seems to be flagging, but is by no means out of the game. It's eyes are still as bright as ever, the brightest points on it's body.

Suddenly, it howls, and it's horns rise up high into the sky, splitting the clouds, and then the lightning of it's horns begin to crawl on the underside of the clouds, towards you in fact, at least towards the space on the clouds above you...

how do you react?

You use your remaining beetles to cover themselves in mud them form a canopy over you. THen you dash for the Kirin's horns, raising your blade to slice through them.

THe beetles are the only thing that saves your life. The moment you're under the creeping lightning on the clouds, the entire force of the storm is called down upon you in that instant. Trillions of volts of power causing all of the water for 10 meters evaporates. The mud covering you bakes to terra cotta in a moment, your beetles evaporate. and the Kirin stands proudly at the edge of the destruction, it's horns retracted, it's body still the same brightness... and once again it's charging you through the steam, right towards your blade with it's mouth open.

You close in, roaring your deviance against the beast, who seems genuinely shocked that you're not fried to a crisp, or an ashen statue to be knocked to bits. Your terra cotta armor cracks and breaks as you close in, bringing your spear sword up to bear, threatening it from the side, and then bringing the jitte down on it's skull as it tries to jink to the side. It goes down into the mud, it's head blasted apart by the jitte which turn red hot from the blow and deform a little bit. But the creature goes down into the mud of the swamp bed, turning it immediately to ceramic and causing it a great deal of pain as it dims further and spends precious seconds reforming.

Roll for your attempted death blow. You're probably not going to get another chance this good.

You raise up your mighty sword, and bring it crashing down on the beast, crushing it and splitting it in half, revealing a pusling, black cloud crackling with electricity at it's center.. Your twin right hands reach in, grasping at a solid core of lighting arcing clouds, and ripping it from the storm cloud like body. It's the size of Deus' left fist, and strings of brilliant, sparkling electricity link it to the main body. You rip it up and out, each snapping and crackling through the air as you rip the storm heart free and hold it over your head. Wraps release from the two right arms, and it begins to weave them around the beast.

The creature slowly dissolves, you say aloud "So Deus, not quite a God but if that wasn't a worthy fight then I can't imagine what it'd take to please you"

There is only a feeling of emense satisfaction until the world slows around you, and that voice, quieter now, Deus apparently getting a sense for your tolerances (you only get a single nostril nose bleed this time), says "That was indeed well fought Priest. Choose my next strength."

Mantle of Divine Storms
You have fought and slain an embodiment of the heavens, now the power of its champion rests within you. Avatar gains the horns, claws and pelt (including fluffy tail) of the Kirin giving it a fierce yet regal aura that entisifies when the user increases divine power output. Can be used in short bursts to electrofy your Avatar for shocking, lighting quick attacks or sustained, temporaly giving your Avatar the full speed and power of the Kirin.*
*WARNING: mulitiple or consecutive bursts can leave the piolet feeling drained and winded if not careful and sustained Kirin mode can lower divine essence to dangerous levels with prolonged use.
>fur sometimes absorbs a charge from the air or sources around it. beware of static build up, getting shocked really smarts ya know

Unless there's descenting vote, will add Kirin Horns.
>>
>>30686964
seems much more offensive/speed based with a limited use before causing side effects
Kirin Horn is finishing move material and would leave us open, but using our Divine Essence aug for reactive armor woud help soften any damage we took while charging maybe
>also Lightning resistance should be a given right?
>>
>>30687125
Sounds good.
>>
>>30687136
Lighting resistance is a given. It'll ust charge up your kirin horn attack.
>>
Mantle: Power and Speed boost temporaliy
Horn: Finishing move with charge/target time
>>
>>30687125
I'd prefer a long use ability over a charging beam
>>
Kirin Horn: You gain the horns of the Kirin. You may charge up a massive lightning based attack that will obliterate whatever it hits. It takes time to charge up, and time to launch. You also gain the ability to absorb lightning to charge your Kirin Horn, but it will discharge targeted on YOU if you let it charge up too much.

Mantel works. It won't give you fur, but it'll give you a lightning cloak type deal.

So your call guys.
>>
>>30687136
Agreed, it would be a good finisher. Reactive armor sounds neat as well, just looked it up.
>>
>>30687174
Are we voting again? Kirin Horn if so. We need some more offensive powers.
>>
>>30687125
>>30687174
how about horns and as we gain charge we get a glowing mantle/mane that disappears after discharge
>>
>>30687174
if mantle would be more cloak then offensive then sure horn. i did have a more defense based idea for it though like using electricity to "feel" attacks coming and reacted with lightning speed
>>
>>30687219
>ugh, i need to organize my folders. almost deleted it
Calm Before the Storm
The Kirin is prededation given life, divine lightning given form. The only thing harder to do than predict its next attck is to harm it, making it as fast and uncatchable as the storm. Gives the Avatar an almost 6th sense, no matter how accurate the strike or direction it comes from your Avatar simply isn't there when the blow comes and already preparing to counter. Creates a field of feelers that allows lightning fast reaction to oncoming attacks that the Avatar and piloet may not even be able to see coming
its late, i need to stop typing while writing lab papers
