And once more, the entire castle is warded, maybe even the places that people do not know are warded to begin with.

So the only way he could not know at this point is if

-Alicia never told anyone

Having been officially dismissed, you make your way over towards the wall where your friends are talking. At first it looks as if Karel's going to join you, but she splits off and makes for Nicolette's side of the window.

Pushing the urge to tease her about a potential crush in the back of your mind, you continue along your way until you make it to where the four Princesses (plus Andreas and Takamaru) are gathered.

"Ah so you're back..." Marianne says with a weak smile as she repositions the baby in her arms. "Is your sister doing fine?"
"Yeah, she just has a bit of morning sickness," you reply. "She's been throwing up in her room all day, so her and Marius haven't even been able to leave at all."

It still feels pretty weird to be so thankful for "morning" sickness being able to hit at all times of day.

"It's a shame that she's feeling ill, but at least she was able to avoid being exposed to... -that-," Marianne says, closing her eyes as she shakes her head. You really don't have it in you to tell her that Citrine's seen a whole lot worse back home... "And what about Karel's mother?"
"That was a bit trickier, but she's safe too," you reply.
"Thank goodness," she sighs.
"You're not hurt either, are you?" Luciana asks, holding your hand.
"No, I'm fine," you reply.

And then Chiara nearly leaps out of Mairanne's arms in order to slap you in the face.
