Cruiser Character Sheet: http://pastebin.com/Reis6zBQ

After doing some research at the library with Ira you spent the rest of the week helping Cruiser get your armor ready. When it comes to making equipment Cruiser is slow and meticulous, but considering it’s supposed to keep you from getting turning into hamburger meat that’s probably for the best. You didn’t see much of Ira, occasionally she’d pop into the garage, grab lunch for you and Cruiser, and try to give
you two a hand but for the most part she was off doing something she wouldn’t elaborate on.

The times where Cruiser didn’t need help you walked out to where the crashed ship was to check it out and try to clean it up a bit. The airship was near the northern most time of the main island just on the edge of the forest. You could still see the large gouge the ship made in the ground when it made a not so smooth crash landing.

The ship was fairly small compared to the massive airships the pirates used, but it seemed tough and had a nice shape to it. Still, it was beat to shit and it needed everything from a new bottom flight Rutter to a shitload of paint. The ship frame was fairly intact but the inside was filthy, everything was ether broken, smashed to bits, or had something living in it.

After spending the late hours of your Friday sweeping out mountains of dirt and clearing out whole flocks worth of birds nest from the ship you decided to sleep in a little later than usual and returned to the garage after eating a late breakfast to find Cruiser was finished with your armor.

“Ta-da!” He exclaimed with a grin as your modified Bustergun and new suit of armor sat on the work bench ready to be used.

Cruiser helps you put on the armor and you find it’s surprisingly light for how sturdy it looks. The armor itself made up of a tight fitting chest piece that covers your back and torso, small shoulder pads, forearm plates, thigh plates, and calf plates. It even comes with armored plates that fit over the top of your steel toed boots.

The armor’s original color was the light aqua blue the Firushudot was colored in, but Cruiser seems to have painted it over in black.

“This stuff should be a step up from the Kevlar vest of yours.” Cruiser says as he tightens the straps on your arms “I added some padding and inserts into the chest plate for some added protection against ranged attacks but this armor should also be able to protect you from strikes.
Your torso is still more protected then your chests, but these guards should help protect you from getting shredded.”

“Will I have any trouble moving around?” You ask as you flex in the new armor.

“You shouldn’t, though the armor’s surface is somewhat jagged. That’s more to do with the Firushudot’s armor though, not anything I did with it. I doubt it would damage a Reaverbot, but I think it’d make it hard for someone to grapple you without cutting themselves on it.”

Cruiser hands you your Bustergun and you check it out, noticing it looks a little less scrap-metalish then it did before.

"It's waterproofed so you won't have to worry about it shorting out after getting wet. I still wouldn't advise submerging it in water for long periods of time, but an accidental dip won't do anything major." Cruiser states

As you walk around a bit in your new armor Ira walks into the garage.

"Ooooh! You look so cool!" She exclaims upon seeing your new gear.

"I would have made a snazzy helmet too, but I didn't have enough material for it."

>>
>>30590880
"Well I think a helmet would deserve special attention anyway, after all I can treat a broken arm or rip, but there's not a whole lot I can do if Bass literally loses his head" Ira says in an amusingly concerned fashion.

It's Saturday, you're well rested, and you finally have your new gear! There's two more towers to tackle and there's a whole day to do it?

What do you wish to do Bass?
>>
>>30590910
Lets go over our equipment and supplies once more, see if there's something we should buy before our next dig. See what we know about the next, least dangerous island, and maybe prepare for a scouting run to it. Considering how it's going to be more dangerous, maybe we should do a quick training or find someone to instruct us how to dig properly - maybe the local cops will teach us how to dodge and shoot properly.

Also, fill in Cruiser about that legend we found out about yesterday about that fourth tower.
>>
go to a tower
>>
>>30590910
Let's get used to the weight of the suit. Just because Cruiser does good enough work for us to move around without trouble doesn't mean we don't need to acclimate dodging and strafing in it. After that's done, check our supplies and then head off to the Silver Tower. Let's try not to unlock anything this time, though.

>>30591008
The research trip was a week ago, going by the montage. We probably mentioned it at some point already.
>>
>>30591008
We've been doing pretty well at digging so far. Bass is the strongest. I don't think he can get anything out of a training course that he couldn't just pick up during the dig. That's not to say that we shouldn't talk to the police, though. They're a great source of side-quests. And side quests are the best source of sub-weapon parts. We need a heavier weapon than our buster gun.
>>
>>30591059
We're in no rush, I guess. And Bass could use some training and getting accustomed to the new suit.

>>30591120
Side quests, and probably some tips and advice.
These guys are probably the islands only defense, so they should have some info on how to fight some reaverbots, what to avoid, how to aim properly, that stuff. Yeah, Bass could pick that up along the way, but I don't want him to pick it up and lose an arm in the process.

Supply wise you seem to be fine. You still have plenty of flares, a good 60 feet of rope, your headlamp has fresh batteries, you haven't needed to use your back up flashlight yet, you have plenty of colored chalk, and your shovel and pick are still in good condition. It's kind of funny that for a job referred to as 'digging' you haven't needed to use any digging implements yet.

After checking supplies you take a jog around the block to get used to the armor you're wearing. While it doesn't impede your movement, it definitely makes running and moving around different, especially with your backpack on.

On your jog you spy a police car parked on the corner with a man leaning against it smoking a cigarette, a worried expression on his face.

Going up to him you see he's a police officer, if a poorly groomed on. He looks up and at first he's a bit worried by the sight of your armor, but upon seeing your face he relaxes.

"Oh you're that Digger kid you crashed here a week or two ago, what was you name? Bass?"

"Yeah" You say with a nod.

"I see you've been keeping busy. So what do you want?"

"Uh, is everything alright? I can come back later if this isn't a good time. It's just that I hear that my last dig wound up spooking people when the tower collapsed, and I don't want to do anything like that again. I know what I'm doing is risky, but I'd prefer to be responsible when it comes to public safety. So I thought I might ask the police if they have any advice on how to minimize any disturbances I might cause. Do you know how I could get in touch with someone who could help with that?"
>>
>>30591493
>>30591476
"What's on your mind officer? You seem a bit troubled." You say, trying to come off as concerned and not nosy.

"I do? Well I guess most of the guys on the force aren't doing so well after the body we found last night, I still get a little sick thinking about it." The Officer reaches into his pocket a lights up a cigarette as he speaks.

"Body?" You ask.

"Yeah, we found a body up at the industrial zone stuffed inside a trash can, or rather one of the coal miners found what was left of a body wrapped up in a trash bag..." The office explains a sickened tone.

"Was it a local? Anyone I might have known?"

The officer shakes his head. "No. We identified the body, some out of towner here on business. We're still trying to get his records, but with the pirates lurking in the area all the other police stations are taking ages to get back to us."

"Was it the pirates? Do you think they might have come here?"

"I doubt it. Pirates, even the smaller groups, are always looking to bolster their reputation. If they killed this guy they would have made a display out of it. Whoever killed this guy wasn't a pirate, but he was definitely disturbed." The officer blows smoke into the air and sighs.

"You're new in town, so I'd watch what you do in say unless you want to end up a suspect. Still, you seem like a nice kid, if you hear anything weird let us know."

"Alright I will, Officer?"

"Shambles. Patrick Shambles." Patrick states, looking at you intently for any sign of a snicker.

"Officer Shambles, I was wondering if you knew anywhere I could get some training on how to shoot or fight Reaverbots..."

Patrick just shrugs. "Sorry kid, I wouldn't know anywhere you could get that kind of training around here."

"But, don't the police here receive training?" You ask.

reaverbots don't stuff things in garbage bags or trash cans.
>>

They neither held funeral sites or are able to talk, but we ran into one of those before.
Though yeah, it's probably just some nutter.
>>
>>30591994
Yeah, could be. I can't see a normal Reaverbot disposing of the evidence, though. If it was one, it's probably one of the Proto-Anthro models. As an aside, am I the only one who when he hears that phrase thinks of some sort of poorly drawn furry fanart? "Oh, these are my early sketches of what Megaman would look like as a fox, just my Proto-Anthro models."
>>
>>30591793
"Yeah, but we're not commandos or anything. We're taught to shoot straight and uphold the law, that's about it. The Militia is better suited towards fighting off pirates and Reaverbot but from what I understand they don't have a lot of experience and General Tin, the guy in charge, is really picky who he lets join." Patricks explains.

"You're better off not wasting your breath trying to talk to the guy. He's not fond of Diggers and after that quake a week ago he wanted the mayor to let his men shoot you on sight."

"Really?" You ask, totally shocked.

"The mayor didn't let him of course, the guy completely over reacted, but I'd steer clear of him if I were you."

>>30591689
"Alright. Listen, I know I freaked people out when I collapsed that tower during my last dig, but I'm not trying to endanger the island for personal wealth. Do you know anyone I might be able to talk to about handling sensitive stuff in ruins?"

Officer Shambles shakes his head "Sorry, I don't know anyone with Digging experience. You're the first Digger to come around here in a long time besides a few that were passing through. Though it's good to hear you aren't planning on sinking the island just to grab a giant refractor or something. Still, I'd be careful with what you say, if people think what you're doing is dangerous you might end up getting killed in your sleep. It's been a while since the Week of Ruin, but some people are still pretty terrified of Digger causing a repeat of what happened."

You nod your head. "Thanks for you advice officer. I'll let you know if I hear anything that might pertain to that murder."

Jogging back to the garage you tell Cruiser and Ira what you heard fromt he police officer

"A murder? That's awful..." Ira says, though she's obviously relieved it wasn't anyone local.

"Jeez everything's getting crazy around here lately. First word of pirates and now someone gets chopped up and put into the garbage? What next? Aliens?" Cruiser just sighs and crosses his arms.

Half and hour has passed and there's still plenty of time in the day Bass.

After checking your gear you all pile into the AE86, which still sports the amphibious modifications at the duel machine-gun turret on top, Cruiser drives to the docks and heads off towards the towers again. It’s a quiet, but beautiful day with the heat of the sun shining high in the sky and the salty smell of the ocean still strong as ever. In the distance you see the two towers left and have Cruiser head towards the one with the Silver Tower.

You man the machinegun and keep your eyes peeled for anything suspicious as Cruiser brings the car around to get a look at the island from a distance…

You keep your eyes trained on the water, fearful of being attacked by some horrific aquatic or fish-like Reaverbot. However after giving the island a few passes you relax a little bit. The island is a little bigger than the previous one the Bronze Tower was on, this one has more trees but a lot less bushes and tall grass.

Just as you’re about to give Cruiser the OK to approach it, you look to the sky and see something funny. At first you just think it’s a flock of seagulls, but then you notice how oddly their shaped and how erratically they’re moving through the air. It suddenly hits you when you spot more ‘birds’ coming out the top of the Silver Tower that they're anything but seagulls...

“Shit I think those are Reaverbots! Everyone get ready” You exclaim, readying the machine-gun as the flock begins to rush towards the car from the distance...

The flying Reaverbots close in fast, Barry only just starts turning the car around when they get in firing range. From a distance they look like birds, but seeing them at this range they look more like tiny bird-like jet craft.

There are four of them flying information with a larger Reaverbot that just seems like an overgrown version of the little ones. You don’t see any weapons on them, but with the speed they’re flying they could be aiming to blow into the AE86 in some kind of jet powered tackle!

Ira opens fire with the machinegun again, this time aiming lower than she did before. However she aims too low and shoots the sea water to death instead. You line up a shot with one of the smaller flyers and score a direct hit, blowing it to pieces in a single shot and sending it crashing into salty blue oblivion.

You and Ira continue to fire on the flyers to keep them away from the car until eventually Cruiser hits the beach. By the time Cruiser hit the tree line the Reaverbots had already broken off the chase and were flying back to the Silver Tower.

Letting out a sigh of relief you climb out of the car and lean up against a tree, Ira hopes down the turret rubbing her forehead as Cruiser gets out and looks over the damage to the car.

“Well that was...unexpected.” You state, watching the flyers disappear into the distance, for once wishing you had been attacked by something from the water.

“You’re telling me. I expected them to come out of the water, not the blood air like pirates.” Cruiser frowns as he looks over the AE86’s engine.

“So what are we going to do now?” Ira asks.

Well Bass? What do you want to do?

Back to the shop, look into some armor for the car. Would the designs for our vest be converted for the AE86? Check on Ira.
>>
>>30595455
For now, rest up. See how the two of them are holding up or if they're hurt. Then lets go back to base, for repairs and some planning. We need a damage estimate for the car, and we could get Ira some targeting practice.

We took a photo of those flying reaverbots, right? We should see later on if we can get some money for registering those.
>>
>>30595542
We might be able to rig up some slat armor. That's the standard low-cost way to protect against explosives. It's just a metal cage that goes around the vehicle so that any explosives are prematurely detonated. It's ablative, obviously, and we'd need to leave gaps in areas we're going to fire out of, but it could work. Convincing Cruiser to add more crap to the car would be difficult, though. We got his baby all beat up.
>>
>>30595455
We're going to find a way to better armor the engine and passenger compartment without capsizing us is what we're going to do!
>>
>>30595619
Yeah, that could work. We could also try to convince him to throw some reactive armour on that baby as well - basically get some rubber and stick it between two metal plates. It should provide cover against bullets and some other shots, at least.
>>
>>30595736
No matter what we come up with, we should apologize first for getting his car damaged. Sorry, Cruiser.

The first thing you do is check to see if everyone is OK and not secretly bleeding out while you catch your breath.

“Ira? Are you alright?” You ask as Ira nods her head.

“Yeah I’m fine, no concussion or shrapnel wounds, just a splitting headache and some ringing in my ears.” She laughs and looks back to the machinegun. “Sorry about being so shitty with my aim it’s been a while since I fired a machinegun.”

“Huh?” You ask.

“Oops.” Ira sticks out her tongue and shakes her head. “I meant that it was the first time I ever fired a machine gun. I guess the explosion must have tied my tongue too.”

“Oh, well as long as you’re OK you can speak as improperly as you like.” You walk over to the front of the car and find Cruiser looking things over.

“Are you OK Cruiser? Any injuries?” You ask.

“My body is fine; it’s my heart that’s bruised. I can’t believe I let those
Reaverbot bastards drop bombs on my darling car…” Cruiser lets out a sigh, seeming very disappointed with him. “Thanks for not trying make us stick around to fight them, it’s nice to know you’re the kind of guy who won’t put others in danger for the sake of his own ego.”

“It’s no problem, how’s the car?” You ask, looking at the banged up engine.

“The refractor is fine, but I’m going to need a lot of replacement parts and a new hood to get her in suitable running condition. It’ll be 3000 Zenny for me to fix her up, but I don’t have that kind of money at the moment.”

You check your bag and find you have 3032Ƶ.

“I have enough money on me to barely afford the replacement parts, how much would I cost to armor this thing?”

“Well it depends on how you’d want to armor it. I’d guess it’s probably cost more than we’d have after fixing the car, unless you’d be OK with taking money out of the ship repair fund…”

"Let's just get back to the garage and get the car fixed..."

>(Cont)
>>
>>30596063
We need to get those two some armor as well.
And some ear muffs for Ira.
>>
>>30596063
>“Sorry about being so shitty with my aim it’s been a while since I fired a machinegun.”
We'll let it slide, but I want to hear that story as we're flying to another island
>>
>>30596063
The AE86 manages to make it to the garage without dying on you and after several hours spent helping to change out engine parts, hammering out dents, and carefully replacing the windshield the car is as good as new, though your wallet feels a lot lighter.

After everything is done you consider what you need to get to the tower and how to get past the Flying Reaverbots.

You have 32 Zenny to your name, with Ira and Cruiser having 600 each left.

You have 14350 Zenny in the ship repair fund, an old broken machinegun, a roll of super conductive foil, a weird circuit board, an old busted air tank, and a kind of crappy Polaroid Photo of one of the flying Reaverbots.

What do you wish to do Bass?
>>
>>30596063
Missiles would be the best weapon here, but none of the things we've fought had access to anything like that.

Our best bet is to hope the third ruin isn't guarded by birds.
>>
>>30596320
We need to scout out the third ruin, or go for one that's on the main island.

Wait, isn't the third island ruin the one where a team of diggers all died? Goddamnit, we don't have a lot of options.
>>
Rolled 14

>>30596320
How exactly does zenny power things?
>>
>>30596383
It's some sort of magnetic induction. You spin a Refractor around really fast in a magnetic field and it produces current. But since they're super-advanced ancient technology they actually produce more power than it takes to spin them. Because magic.
>>
>>30596383
Zenny as just smaller refractor shards. They're not as strong as full reactors, but the shards can still be spun to produce energy. They're very valuable in making small power supplies for equipment and various other things.
>>
>>30596320
We're sure there's nobody on the island that can do anything useful with or further identify the tape or circuitboard?
>>
>>30596430
We haven't really looked. There probably is, we've just been busy with other things.
>>
Rolled 8

>>30596407
Huh... then why don't we rewire the AE86, and replace all or the most crucial wiring with the superconductive foil? Or for that matter, rewire our buster with it?
>>

Well shit, let's get on that!
>>
>>30596320
Lets hit the bulletin board. We're obviously not equipped for dealing with those things just yet, so lets do some jobs on the side for some extra cash.
>>
>>30596462
Because it's foil, not wiring.

>>30596430
>>30596447
Cruiser looked into it when you gave him the board for examination. He's the most tech-savy person besides his bosses Tom and Tom. He showed it to them and they couldn't make heads or tails of it, though they were interested in buying it off you.

>>30596469
That's a viable option, there's a bulletin board outside city hall.

Do you wish to go search for a job Bass?

Only if we're given the option to bungle said jobs through incredible crassness. One of my favorite parts of Legends is how many opportunities Megaman is given to just be a huge dick to everyone he talks to.

"You know, I'm just not happy with how my painting is turning out.Do you have any idea what it's missing?"

"Some talent."
>>

It might be important someday, so I say keep it around. If Tom n' Tom want to buy it despite not knowing jack shit about it, maybe they're not telling all they know? Twins, man.
>>
>>30596584
>>30596626
It's not QUITE as simple as that, and the effects won't be immediately apparent, anyway.
>>
>>30596642
Yeah. And it might help us deal with some reaverbots eventually, maybe even let us use their tech.
>>
>>30596584
That's not really how superconductors work. Superconductors repel magnetic fields. This means that if you try to coil up or twist a superconductor it'll untwist itself from the forces it creates as soon as you apply current. If you want superconductive wiring you have to first get it in filament form and then encase it in another layer of magnetism-deflecting material.
>>
>>30596681
Or a Buster Upgrade part, or a Special Weapon part.
>>
Rolled 18

>>30596685
Well, why couldn't we just remove all the crucial wiring in our buster, and cut the foil into strips to make it fit?
>>
>>30596770
Because as a plasma weapon I assume it uses more than a few solenoids, and a superconductive solenoid would rip itself apart unless you embedded it in strong support materials. Materials we don't have at the moment.
>>

You tell Ira and Cruiser you're going out to try to find a job to make some quick cash and leave for city hall. After a nice walk to the Governmental Sector you arrive at the bulletin board.

A lot of jobs have been posted up but quite a few are pretty old, there 3 five newer ones that appear to have been put up recently.

>"I lost my 5 kittens recently. I will pay 200 Zenny for each Kitten brought back safely." The advertisement has pictures of 5 kittens and the dress where to find the poster of the message, who appears to live her in the Governmental sector.

>"Seeking private investigator to look into family matters. Offering up to 2000 Zenny depending on effectiveness" There is an address to find the poster of the message, who appears to staying at the docks.

>"Looking for an individual who's looking to get rich" There is no address to this message, only a boat number and a name. Hunter.

Might work there. It would still be hard to wire it properly. Not to mention that I don't want to risk damaging the material when we work it. A damaged superconductor is a very bad thing. You can get some weird magnetic effects. Like magnetic pinning, where it attracts objects up until a certain distance, then once they get closer repels them. It's like they're connected by invisible rubber bands. Which can actually be beneficial in some circumstances if you can control it (Dirk's shield funnels over in AGE Quest use for their levitation), but we don't really have the tools we'd need to get that level of precision. I'm not saying using the superconductor for upgrades is a bad idea. Just that we don't have the facilities to do it properly, yet.
>>
>>30596907
Did...did Hunter just proposition us? Because that really looks like a missed connections ad.
>>

this. We don't have the expertise or to work superconductors or the materials that go with it.

You nearly forgot about the picture you took of the Reaverbot! It's not particularly great due to the sun flare, but you can still see the Reaverbot in the picture.

Going into City Hall you make your to the Office of Claims and Communications and speak with the women again.

“Hello! Welcome to the Office of Claims and Communications. How may I help you?”

“Yes. I believe I discovered a new type of Reaverbot.”

"Is it the one you previously discovered?" The women asks.

"No, this one was one I recently encountered today."

“That sounds exciting! Just hand over your physical or photographic evidence and tell me your observations on it.”

You had over the photograph and the women observes it for a few moments with critical eyes.

"It's not a very good photograph, but it is a Poleroid, and it seems to have been taken in the last couple of hours. I don't recall a Reaverbot of this description so...I believe his is enough evidence for a Name Claim, provided you can tell me some decent information about the Reaverbot that is."

You explain to the women the nature of your encounter, how you initially mistook the Reaverbots for birds, how fast they caught up with you, how a larger one was leading the smaller one you took a photo of, and how they dropped bombs on you.

"And you encountered that Reaverbot near the Island?" She asks.

"Yes, near the Silver Tower North West of here."

"Alright then, I have enough information to let you make a name claim. What do you wish people to know this Reaverbot as?"

Well Bass? What do you want to name it?

“Wirraw? Interesting name choice! Just sign your name and we’ll be finished”

After filling out a small form you leave City Hall with a smile and a spring in your step. Finally! You’ve made you mark as a Digger and gotten your name out to the world! Sure it’s probably not as big as a mark as you’d like it to be but it’s better than the Digger Community being completely oblivious to your existence.

Whenever you fight the Wirraw you’ll be able to say “I’m the one who discovered this Reaverbot!”

Riding high off the joy of naming and claiming your first Reaverbot, you decide to meet the poster of the missing kitten's and follow the address to a small, but very nice looking home just down the street from city hall.

You go up to the door and knock a few times waiting patiently until the door is answered by a women in her late 20's with long black hair and dressed in casual plain looking clothing. The women looks at you nervously for a moment and you're VERY glad you didn't decide to wear your armor while you went job hunting.

There's a brief moment of silence before you introduce yourself.

"Hello, I'm Bass Treble. I saw your ad up on the bulletin board and I was wondering if you still needed help locating those missing kittens?"

"Oh!" The women lets out a sigh of relief and laughs, motioning for you to come inside and take a seat in the small the living room.

She disappears for a moment and comes back with some tea, serving you a cup.

"The kittens went missing about a week ago. I got them for my daughter who's been sick for quite a while. I brought her out to the porch for a little while with the kittens did some paper work inside. I went back outside and found my daughter had fallen asleep and the kittens were missing." The women frowns and sips her tea nervously.

"I lied to my daughter after I failed to find them, saying I took them back to the vet for some shots. However it's been almost a week and my daughter is growing suspicious. I'll pay you 1000 Zenny if you can bring back all three kittens safely. Please, I really need someone to help me..."

>[A] No problem! Where can I start looking? (Take the job at regular price)

>[B] I'll do it for 500, after all your daughter is sick (Take job at half price)

"You don't have to, I have 1000..."

"No, no it's fine. I need the money but I'd feel like a prick if I took 1000 Zenny from you just to kind your sick daughter's lost cats." You say with a shrug, politely sipping the tea and keeping the fact you don't like tea to yourself.

"Really? Well...thank you."

"I don't mean to be intrusive but how is your daughter?"

"She's doing better, but what she's sick with isn't something that can be fixed with a single trip to the hospital. With medication and rest the doctors say she'll well again in about a year."

"That's good to hear. A friend of mind, Ira, is or was a nurse down at the hospital. She was pretty sick when she was a kid too, maybe she could come down and do something for you..."

"I don't think that's necessary but I appreciate your concern. Now about the cats..."

"Oh that's right." You take the photographs and lay them out on the table.

"As you can see they're all white kittens, only a few months old. There names are Rosey, Posey, Mosey, Nosey, and Daffodil. They have collars with our address printed on them but so far no one has called. I searched the Governmental sector up and down but I couldn't find them anywhere..."

"Any idea where I should start looking?" You ask.

"Residential might be a good place, the docks too because of all the fish..."

"Alright I'll start my search now. Thank you for your help Miss?"

"Ordonia. Mary Ordinia. Please contact me as soon as possible, I work out of my house lately but occasionally I have to go up to city hall for something."

"Hey Ira, have you or Cruiser seen any white kittens running around?" You ask.

"Kittens? I haven't see any. Let me ask Cruiser." There's a brief moment of silence before Ira comes back on.

"No, sorry. Why do you ask?"

"Well I took a job to find some kittens that have been missing for about a week. They have collars and apparently they stand out pretty well, but no one seems to have found them."

"Hmmm, well that doesn't mean a whole lot. This town might be small, but there are nooks and crannies people really don't explore that often. I bet if you look hard enough you'll find they're around town somewhere."

"Alright, I'm heading down to the docks to see if the fish attracted them, let me know if you find anything."

With box and catnip in hand you make your way to the docks and pick up a small container of fish chum to add to your kitten finding arsenal. You can't stand the stuff, but kittens and cat's get enough of the stuff. Anything that will kill and eat a fish without a second though is a benevolent creature in your mind.

Putting them into the box you wonder where their last sibling is before spying him scurrying down the alley towards the road. Acting quickly you sprint down the alley and scoop the kitten up before he can bolt into traffic.

With all five kittens boxed and identified you make you way back to the Governmental Sector and return to Mrs. Mary's house.

However when you arrive there you find police inside and on the porch, you can hear crying and heated talking from inside.

"What's going on?" You ask, spotting Officer Shambles among the police.

"We believe Mrs. Mary may be the one who killed the man we found yesterday..."

(And this is where I'll stop things tonight)
