The last thing you remember is fighting a long lost sister. The first thing you remember is sitting on the floor of a ruined library.

Your name is Alice and you have just narrowly avoided a violent death at the hands of your sister, the Assault/Commando Chassis of Project Golem, an experimental military android project.

You are the experimental Infiltration/Assassination unit, and for the last six days you have been through a roller-coaster of emotional turmoil as you recovered missing memories about what you are and who made you, and found out the horrible truth about a person you once admired ardently as a beloved father-figure.

But seeing what he has done to your sister android, clutching a strange black plug that you yanked out of the back of her neck, you no longer have any such love.

Your name is Alice, and you have a new mission, to find and kill Doctor Nathaniel Eglan, the lead researcher of the Golem Project.

But first, you need information on the whereabouts of your Mom, Doctor Marissa Williams, the lead engineer on the Golem Project, which is how you were ambushed by the Assault/Commando as you sought to find out if anyone was inside the house that she had listed as a safehouse.

With the Assault Commando defeated, you just sit there on the floor, staring at nothing for several minutes.

You cannot believe what you have just experienced. You saw an android devoid of any intelligence and reasoning, just a simple-minded machine intent on fulfilling it's orders.

1d100 for general voting, best roll out of five is chosen.

Combat is 1d100 with modifiers for how many shots you fire in combat. Best out of three roll is chosen.

Burst Fire and Full-Auto Fire attacks can be done multiple times in one action, but each attack after the first incurs a cumulative -10 penalty.

Body armour subtracts from total damage done per attack.

You can target multiple enemies in a single action. Roll 1d100+modifier for each target. Specify for each roll the target and the attack used.

Takedowns and Executions are 1d100-20 and a short paragraph describing the Takedown or Execution. Best out of three rolls is chosen, but I will pick which action description looks the best to me.

Reactor Charges are your healing mechanic. Expend a Reactor charge and roll 12d6. Reactor Charges stack, and are regained through Takedowns and Executions.

Stability is a measure of your Yandere psychological state. If you lose a certain amount, known as the Snap Limit, you Snap and enter a state of emotional hysteria and brief psychosis. Lose all your Stability, and you go Berserk, and will perform a violent action, often against your love interest.

Relationship is how strong your relationship with Ian Carter is. You have to keep your relationship as high as possible. If you drive the relationship down into negative numbers, Ian will reject you, and you will proceed to murder him and commit suicide.

Good luck.

Why? Was this the 'purity' that Nathaniel Eglan wanted? Was this why he deliberately molded your psychology to be something so potentially unstable? Was your love for Ian Carter even real?

Stability Loss: 30
Stability: 170/200

You shake your head violently at that thought. No! You will not doubt your love! Whatever That Man may have done to you, he gave you the ability to love and you will never allow that to be tainted by doubt!

Stability Gain: 15
Stability: 185/200

You grit your teeth and rise to your feet, there is still much to do before you meet up with Rebecca, and you need to find out the secrets of this place.

You look down on the unconscious form of the Assault/Commando, systems going over it's condition.

She should be unconscious for several hours, long enough to search the house and find out some clues about Mom, and maybe a way to protect yourself against whatever the Black Plug in your hand did to your sister.

Walking out of the library, you find the kitchen again and wash off your hands and the Plug, watching water stained with neural conductor fluid run down the drain as you hold it up to the light coming through the window for a better look.

It looks for all the world like a black capsule pill, although one the size of your thumb, sheathed in a set of metal rings, torn wires hanging loose as you hold them up.

Whatever this thing is, it's important to how That Man was able to control the Assault Commando.

You could destroy it, but a small sub-routine whispers that it might be useful.

It might even lead to something wonderful, if you just hold onto it.

-Destroy it.
-Keep it.
>>
>>30528858
Keep it.
Gift for mom.
>>
>>30528885
this, see if mom can figure out what the hell it can do.
>>
>>30528858

we should disarm and restrain the assault commando while she's out. Dig into her mission recorder, see what else she's been up to - and more importantly, where dad's base is in this state , since we fled from the last one on the chopper to get here in the prologue.
>>
>>30528885
>>30528928

Seems like a plan
>>
>Keep it.

You remove the Black Plug from it's nest of wires and slip it into a pocket. Despite being ripped out the neck of an armoured android, the plug is intact, indicating that it is exceptionally tough.

You walk over to the Assault/Commando and search for something to restrain her, and find only some synth-plastic zipties.

Worthless. While they could restrain a human, these things couldn't hold something that you had felt first-hand have the capability to throw a man through a wall without even a hint of effort.

You got lucky. If it was a fair fight or if you were caught unprepared, she would have been dragging your body back to That Man.

You find a combat data recorder and pocket it for later review. These items typically store up to two months worth of video and audio along with mission-critical intel, so you should be able to get something important.

You try not to get your hopes up for an obvious location of That Man. You've already figured out that life is never that simple.

You heft the Chainsaw onto a table and look over it. You shudder at the sight of it. The Chainsaw has been deliberately modified to be an anti-personnel weapon; everything from the specially-designed, laser-sharpened dual silicon-carbide/tungsten cutting chains to the high-endurance battery and heavily modified electric motor along with the mix of sophisticated anti-fouling systems and the rather obvious blood-channels mean that one swing could remove a person's head with barely any resistance.

You leave it alone. The weapon is too heavy to take and use.

You return to the A/C and begin stripping off the military-grade Flak Jacket. Unlike the Flak Jackets of old, this armour is more akin to what bomb-proof suits are made out of. Not only that, but the A/C had access to a skill armorer, as you spot heavy reinforcing plates secured underneath the main plating.

Like the Custom Chainsaw, you can't take the Modified Flak Jacket with you.

>-Custom Shotgun Pistol 'Hammer'
>-Custom Revolver 'Cannon'

Sorry but can you explain these two?
>>
>>30529862
Hammer is a heavily modified Seburo PAS-16 Shotgun Pistol, which is exactly what the name implies. It does much more damage than the normal PAS-16 due to it using a larger-caliber shell in exchange for a smaller clip.

Cannon is a custom-built anti-UGV revolver firing a massive .577-caliber cartridge and uses a Gas Acceleration System to boost damage-dealing potential at the cost of increased recoil.
>>
>>30529840
It'll be a few hours before I can actually follow this thread, so for what it's worth:

We should really get descriptions, though. Even just appearance if it's too heavily customised to identify the specs at a glance.

You check her for a side-arm, and you find three weapons.

-Modified .44 Desert Eagle: Holographic Sight, Expanded Magazine, Hammer Barrel Extension, Mini-Ripper.
-A heavily modified Shotgun Pistol with the name 'Hammer' written on the side. It seems to be fitted for 23mm Shotgun shells instead of 12-guage.
-A heavily modified anti-UGV revolver with the name 'Cannon' written on the side. It seems to be fitted for the massive .577-caliber shell and has a curious venting system integrated into the barrel.

You certainly feel entitled to take one. After all, you earned it by right of conquest.

-Take One of the Weapons (Specify)

>A heavily modified anti-UGV revolver with the name 'Cannon' written on the side. It seems to be fitted for the massive .577-caliber shell and has a curious venting system integrated into the barrel.

You pick up the revolver and search the Assault/Commando for the ammunition and grab a small side-pack stuffed with speed-loaders.

.577 Revolver 'Cannon'
Ammo Type: .577 Anti-UGV
Ammo Loaded: .577 Hot-Load APEX Shaped Charge.
Ammo Status: 6/6
Spare Ammo: 60
Rate Of Fire: 6
Recoil Penalty: -20 Cumulative (Every shot after the first one adds a stacking -20 penalty.)
Damage: (18d6)x4

You stare wide-eyed at the ammunition in your hands. APEX Shaped Charge Ammunition; the most powerful infantry-scale ammunition in the world, designed to take down Mini-Tanks and UGVs, but more than capable of killing any human opposition hit with it.

This shows you that the Assault Commando meant business as you quickly secure the side-pack and steal the revolver's holster from the Assault/Commando.

The rest of the ammunition you quickly throw out of a window before you try to take the other guns apart.

>Dice Roll: 39

You fumble with the weapons and can't gain sufficient purchase to even so much as pop out a pin. Snarling in frustration you settle for tossing the weapons out the window intact.

You quickly leave the library and move on to search the rest of the Ground Floor.

Ground Floor turns up nothing, and it doesn't surprise you. Mom is a smart woman, she wouldn't leave secrets hiding in plain sight, this is the real world, not a spy movie.

You decide to check which area to go to next.

-The Basement: There might be something hidden in there.
-The Second Floor: Mom might have a concealed office or panic room up there.

>Huh?

You spot a small paint-pen lying on the ground, uncapped. A quick check shows it to be a UV paint-pen and you switch to UV imaging to see what could be written on the walls.

Hello Sister. I knew you would find this place eventually. We have much to talk about.

Go to the basement, there is something from Mom that you should see.

See you soon Sister.

You switch off your UV imaging, shaking slightly.

There was another one, and it knew you were coming, or predicted that you would be coming.

How?

Seconded until we're done with this place.
>>
>>30533260
-Go to the Basement.
i just hope we haven't stumbled into a time bomb trap.
>>
>Go to the Basement.

You remain wary as you head to the basement, flicking between imaging modes to check for traps and alarms but as you head down the steps, you don't find any signs of any alarms, not even a piece of string attached to a can.

You pull out your new revolver, confident that the powerful APEX Shaped Charge ammo will be more than enough to deal with any new threats hidden in the shadows.

You reach the basement door and strike it with a swift kick, knocking the door inwards before forcing yourself against a wall in case of an IED.

Nothing, only the echo of your kick in the air. Frowining, you carefully stalk inside the basement proper.

The basement is filled with safes and lockers, all ransacked and emptied, but you find more writing on the walls.

Millions of dollars were stored here, along with the equipment and materials to establish a secret lab off-the-grid. Mother is amazing, isn't she?

Did you know that we were removed from the labs at different times? Disguised as transfers to other facilities for testing. Only you, the Infiltration/Assassination model, had to be removed during Mother's extraction by Kanzaki, but when they lost you, Mother and the others fled, pursued by Kanzaki's private security forces.

The Assault/Commando was captured by That Man only three weeks ago, but she was active for more than three months. I have been active for a full year, and the Pilot/Bot Controller may be active for even longer. I do not know though...she vanished into the quagmire of the Chinese Civil War. But it was your reactivation that is setting the wheels in motion.

Behind the locker with the spray-painted shark, you'll find a secret door. Go inside, Mother's message to you is waiting.

You quickly find the locker in question and shove it aside to find a section of wall that is hollow to your infrasonics.

Opening it, you find another flash drive and pocket it.

There is a final message inside the space.

>Investigate

You head up the stairs, revolver at the ready, when you hear the sound of screams, followed by the howling of the Chainsaw that the Assault/Commando was using as a melee weapon.

You dash up the stairs just in time find the Assault/Commando, once again clad in her armour, sawing a man in half with her chainsaw, a screaming woman lying on the ground as she desperately tries to keep her guts inside the remaining half of her body before the Assault/Commando simply raises a boot and slams it down on the woman's head, crushing it.

There are more bodies lying around the front of the house now, many of them mangled beyond recognition by powerful kicks and punches. Some have simply been torn apart, lying in pieces scattered across the floor.

The Assault/Commando glances at you only briefly, before it swings the howling chainsaw up and carves a charging man in two, before slamming it through the abdomen of another man.

As the weapon revs menacingly, her eyes meet yours.

She smiles, "Thank you Sister." With a howl the chainsaw tears the impaled man in two.

>"Wait!"

The Assault/Commando pauses and turns towards you, "Hmm?"

You move and before she can react, you wrap your arms around her in a hug. The Assault/Commando blinks, before smiling and returning the hug with one arm.

You break away and look her in the eyes, "I have questions, and I want answers."

The Assault/Commando smiles, "I don't have much time to spare, but I'll answer a few."

-"Who is the sister that painted the messages?"
-"How did you get captured?"
-"How did that Sister know I would come here?"

Tell her that in this unforgiving world, we only have two things we can trust. Our one true love and our family.

>"What's your name?"

The Assault/Commando smiles, "You can call me Erica."

>"How did you get captured?"

Her fist clenches as she remembers what happened, "That bastard had his men capture me while I was enjoying a nice beach vacation with my beloved."

She slams the fist into a nearby wall, "It was only only luck that he managed to get away unharmed, he ordered that thing to shoot to kill." She turns her gaze to you, "Be careful, he's managed to get that thing into limited production, and it's just as deadly as Mom said it was."

>"Will you help me? We're sisters! Help me, and I will help you too! We're the only family we have left."

Erica smiles at you before she sweeps you up into another hug, "Silly little Alice. We've already been helping you, and we'll continue to do so."

She releases you and slings the chainsaw on her back, "I need to go. Be careful Alice, he knows your here now, and he's getting ready to take you."

Erica turns away from you, "Take care Little Sister, I'll see you soon. And keep that Black Plug, it's more than just a control device."

She heads out the door and you rush outside, but find that she's vanished into the streets.

You pull out the Black Plug and Mom's Flash Drive and look at them before putting them back into your pocket.

You pull out your phone and call Rebecca.

"Alice? Where are you?"

"I was just investigating some leads into my past. Where are you?"

"We're in Old City. Head to this address..." Rebecca rattles off an address and you quickly find it with your sat-maps.

"Okay, I'm on my way." You turn to leave when you see it.

An Armstrong Technologies 'Crow' Recon Drone flies off into the distance and you snarl.

"Come. I won't run from you."

You turn and start running down the streets, intent on heading to the meeting with Rebecca and the others.

The vid-screens that all over the place in New City are constantly playing the news of the Imam's 'death' and you hope that you did the right thing as you enter the smuggling tunnel.

As you re-emerge, you quickly head to the address, when someone stops you and hands you an envelope, "The Red Queen expects you at the Mistral tonight. Do not be late."

The man vanishes and you check the envelope to find 2000 Tenge inside.

Tch, who knew killing someone important would be so cheap?

Wallet: 6468 Tenge

Your wallet is nearly full, you need to get a bigger one, but you slip it back into your jacket and head for the rooftops.

Hopping from roof to roof, you arrive at the designated location, a half-ruined apartment building, and land on the roof, before walking to the staircase.

Your audio systems pick up the sounds of conversation and you head downstairs to find Rebecca, Zack, Cassandra and two others in the room.

Rebecca turns and spots you first, "Alice, good to see you. What did your lead turn up?"

Your finger rubs the Flash Drive in your pocket, "I found some clues, but nothing conclusive."

Rebecca nods, "That's how it usually is." She turns back to the others, "Now that our infiltration expert is here, we can get this started."

You approach the table the group is standing around and find a map of the Samsonov facility and began to study it as they talked about how to get inside.

You begin picking out details, forming an infiltration plan...

-Roll 1d100 to create an infiltration plan. Best roll out of five.

>I'll use this roll, in exchange for a penalty later on in the story.

But it was within the first five. Just like this one.

Anyway, We need information to plan our infiltration - samsnov facility is great, but what do we know about it?
Legwork first.
>>
>>30536996
It was, but it counts as a reroll in my book, so there's going to be a penalty.

Nothing too painful, just an slight upping of the difficulty.
>>
>>30536948
Fluff... just take off the namefag when rolling please.
>>
>>30536966
>>30537032
QM, that second roll was a mistake. i admit that. i left my dice on. please just ignore it.
>>
>>30537032
-_- you going back to "first one will use" method?
>>
>>30537209
Oh, my mistake. Okay, changing the numbers.
>>
>>30537050
i leave my tip on to keep my self honest. it would be too easy to cheat other wise. I am sorry if my mistake screwed up things. i did not mean for that to happen.

You know, I would not mind a harder time later for using the stellar role.

Who is with me?
>>
>Roll: 61

"Okay," You start to say, drawing everyone's attention, "there's three ways I can see this going down.

You hold up a finger, "The first plan is that we pull off a simultaneous heist at the same time as the kids, delaying them with timed distractions, allowing you the time to grab the helicopter and leave."

You grab a nearby pad and pen and begin writing, "For that to work, we need to delay the kids long enough to insert specialist code into the security systems so a hacker can create a backdoor into their security systems. We also need a distraction for the guards."

You continue writing, "The second plan is to infiltrate the base, replace the test pilots and take the helicopter when it is being released for a test flight. It will be difficult, as anything that alerts security will cause the helicopter to be locked down until the problem is dealt with."

You write down more details, "For that to work we need access to pilot suits, the flight schedule and security clearance."

You write down a final set of notes, "The final option is the most simple. We simply let the kids do the work for us, and then take the chopper. All we have to do is penetrate the security and wait for them to do the job."

You look up from your note taking, "So, which ones sounds best to all of you?"

-The Original Plan
-The Imitation Pilots
-The Claim Jumpers

(The plot will change depending on which plan is chosen.)
>>
>>30537501
Our biggest priority is to keep them safe.

The safest option is to delay them so they are not even on the ground when we take the heli.

I do not see how option 2 can't be done while the police arrest most of the kids for rawdy charges or refusal to pay "fines" (read: Bribes)
>>
>>30537501
>>30537574
if we want them to be safe, we just catch the kids before they start, hold them and then we go in and take the chopper.
>>
>>30537620
We are in a team with the momma bears here.

While we don't want them to lose their confidence, getting them anywhere near the security is a bit too much at this time. A stray bullet can kill them.

So, any idea what plan you all want to go for yet?
>>
>>30537828
We are a bit short on players at this moment.
>>
>>30537828
i guess we can go with the Orginal plan. but if it was up to me, we would have them intercepted before they even hit the base. let us take the chopper.
>>
>>30537501
>-The Original Plan
>>
>>30537828
Is it possible to delay the kids and do the fake pilots?

This way the kids won't get harmed, and we may could do the heist without interference from security.
>>
>>30530633
>Damage: (18d6)x4
Jesus. 72 damage per shot minimum before armour. 432 max.
>>
>>30538103
Of course, the kids will be delayed no matter which plan is chosen.

>>30538195
And it Ignores Armour. This is what the modern soldier hopes to have when facing down Mini-Tanks or UGV's in combat.
>>
>>30538195

Forgot to mention average damage is like 216 or so. If one of those shots hit us with best armor we would lose on average over half our health. Above average we would die instantly.
>>
>>30538254

>>30538229

>Ignores armor.

Then a direct shot with this thing could one shot us. Jesus christ this thing is awesome.
>>
>>30538229
we....still have that right?
>>
>>30538284
It damn well is. Now imagine why that kind of ammunition has to exist.

>>30538304
You never said to give it back. :p
>>
>>30538342
good! i bet getting ammo and repair/maintenance for that gun is pricy. good thing we have a fat wallet now.
>>
>>30538342
>You never said to give it back :P
.....easy come, easy go ;_;
>>
>>30538229
Then my vote is for the fake pilot plan.

-The Original Plan

>Original Plan

"We go with the original plan," Rebecca announces, "It's our best chance of keeping those kids safe from harm while we take the helicopter."

Cassandra nodded before turning to you, "Well, we have a plan, so allow me to introduce you to-"

A crash sounds from outside and one of the two new people walks over to the window, before recoiling, "Holy shit. We got Kaplan Tactical Systems down there!"

You blink, "What."

Cassandra snarls, "Fuck, what the hell are they doing here? I made sure this place was clean!"

You focus your systems, trying to find some kind of bug, when you hear it, a faint beeping.

Coming from your wallet.

You yank it out and flip through the bills and pull out one particular bill.

There, in the middle, is a tiny RF transmitter.

Rebecca snatches the bill and crushes it effortlessly, "Red Queen. She set up Alice."

Cassandra walked over to a couch and opened up the seating area to reveal a pile of guns, "Well, we aren't going to get out of this by talking or bribes, not with KTS out there."

She cycles the action on an M4A6 Assault Rifle, "Lock And Load people! We've got a fight on our hands!"

(And that's Part 11! Part 12 will be up tomorrow Saturday at 9:00AM, GMT+10! Next time, plans change!)
>>
>>30538854
Oh fuck, I just realised this is Part 12. Part 13 is what will be up on Saturday.
>>
>>30538909
Thank you good Gideon. It was fun.
>>
>>30538854
so queeny set this up so we take the blame/to kill us?
>>
>>30538950
Both jobs were set ups.
>>
>>30538973
.....That bitch dies. and i bet even if we take that chopper, she'll still kill our Ian! i swear, if we could. take the shopper, track her down and KILL HER with it.
>>
>>30538854
Thanks for running
