Welcome to Academy City. The time is dusk, the weather is cooling and the date is July 25.

You are Kyril Torikov a Level 2 Telekinetic Child Error and you have several things on your agenda. One, you need to retrieve Nunotaba Shinobu’s stolen research data from Kaiou University and two, you need to think of a place to take Asuka out on a date to. The former has a deadline was a distant August 7 whereas the latter was a bit more immediate, in two days. As for tonight, there’s a special event brewing.

You’ve just received a call from your best mates that a party is brewing. The plan was to celebrate Sagara’s recovery and the closing of the case. Despite being on short notice, Nakazawa had acquired hot pot equipment, Kyousuke had acquired the ingredients, and Tadakuni had acquired some alcohol. All that was left was to decide a location to drag your guest of honour Sagara to. Luckily you had some choices.

>Crash Komoe-sensei’s place, you owe her some alcohol
>Crash Kamijou’s place, he could use some good times
>Don’t bother anyone and just party at your place

There was only one maxim to parties and it was, “the more the merrier.” And what better way than to get merry with another friend you’ve made. Kamijou, that luckless sod was probably in good need of a party. He seemed down pretty much every time you saw him so might as well make this a pleasant surprise you think. Being considerate, you called ahead to make sure he was at his place. Thus it wasn’t much surprise to him when you all turned up for some delicious hot pot. It was however a surprise for you and your buddies that he was living with The Index.

“That’s not the worst thing really,” he assures, “It’s not like I’m sleeping with my sister.”

“If you say so.”

Setting up didn’t take long and shortly after the water started boiling did the seven of you start fighting for the food proper. You’re amazed at how Index was skilfully stealing away most of the choicest morsels whilst you cheated a little and used telekinesis to make sure your share remained your share. As the food dwindled, it was time for other social activities.

Well it was a party for Sagara so you decide to make a toast. It was only natural of course that you do it. Raising yourself above the rest you raise your glass.

“A toast, to friends both old and new,” you say, “and to their continued health and well being.”

There’s some raucous cheering in agreement before everyone takes a shot.

“And another!” you don’t stop there, “For our gracious host.”

Your friends and Index agree with you. It puts Kamijou in a bit of a spot as the others egg him in to making a silly speech. You just assume that they’re already sauced from this much. Hah, lightweights. With his somewhat embarrassed thank you out of the way, you pull him aside for a chat.

“So, how’s Kanzaki doing?”

“Huh?” he’s somewhat blindsided but recovers, “Oh them, well I told her what I learned and now all that’s left is to make sure that we can deactivate her emergency mode. If you remember that Index was hurt badly a few days ago, it was that that saved her life. Kaoru says she’ll be around on the 28th to make sure it isn’t going to be a problem.”

“Sounds like that’s all under control.”

“Yeah, thanks to you.”

His face was flushed now though you wonder if it was really the alcohol.

Regardless of the flush in his face, you polish off your drink and pour yourself another, silently daring Kamijou to follow in your footsteps. He does with little hesitation. You can practically feel the alcohol getting to him by the third glass. It’s pretty obvious from his giggling. Index for her part watches on by the wayside worriedly.

“Had a glass?” you ask her.

“No but I don’t believe it is wise for me.”

“Well Christ turned water in to wine for a reason, why not?” you cut her off, “Besides, if you don’t like it you’ll at least have reason to refuse the next time.”

It doesn’t take long for her to acquiesce. To be fair you didn’t give her too much but what little she had drops her. You turned to your next victim, Sagara. He of course was wise to your trick so you had to lower his guard with a bit of small talk first.

“So how are you enjoying getting out of the hospital?”

“Well for one I have to attend this special ‘class’ for Level Upper users tomorrow at our school,” he whines, “I didn’t even use it so much as I was affected by it to my power. But eh, whatever, maybe I can get something out of it.”

He empties his glass after talking that much and you pour him some more without him realising it.

“But enough about me, what’s this I hear about you having a girlfriend?”

“Well we met during a fight, our first date was a fight, and during the most recent fight I asked her on another date which will most likely involve a fight,” you explain, “Make of that what you will.”

“Aw, and here I thought you’d finally get some,” Sagara was only slightly disappointed, “So, you thought of somewhere to take her to yet?”

“Not really,” you answer.

“Well you could take her to a concert, wasn’t Kyousuke doing a recital or some shit like that?”

“It may be last minute but if you want I can totes hook you up,” Kyousuke adds.

“Yeah but then you might steal his girl from under him with your sexy viola,” Nakazawa chimes in.

“Not really,” Kyousuke disagrees, “You don’t know her man. She totally has a thing for him. Me? I was literally her slave until Kyril pulled my ass out of the fire.”

“So who is she?” Kamijou pipes up in a moment of sobriety.

“A Lady of Tokiwadai. She’s looking to go to our high school next year.”

He nearly upends his cup from your answer. How curious.

“You seem like you know a thing about dating them Kamijou.”

“Hah, all she does is chase me down and zap me with her electricity,” he despairs, “Besides I’m in to older, one-san types.”

That brought out two questions to the fore.

“Wait, do you call her Biribiri by the way?”

“Yeah, how’d you guess?”

Bingo. The second unvoiced question was whether you should introduce him to Aneue to keep her off your back. The night draws to close once the guys start passing out drunk.

The time is morning, the weather is mildly unpleasant and the date is now July 26.

You made it back to your room last night despite the alcohol. It was a good thing you didn’t pass out or else you had a feeling the minor headache you have would be a lot worse. Still, it’d clear itself out in an hour or two. Thus you go about your morning as usual until you remember that your fridge is empty courtesy of a certain magical Index. Well breakfast outside was a novelty so you don’t waste time.

That said you also had things to do today. What do?

It was summer but school was in session. Sagara said it was holding a special class for Level Upper users today. You still needed to talk to Komoe-sensei about ability development too. The last time you tried the both of you got drunk before anything came of it. You grab a sandwich and some juice at a convenience store before climbing your way up the hill to school.

It was your homeroom teacher Yomikawa-sensei who greeted you first.

“Yo Torikov, whatcha doing here? Worried about Sagara?”

“No,” you answer, “I need to talk to Komoe-sensei.”

“She’s busy with the Level Upper kids,” she explains, “I’ll have them after noon. Gonna work ‘em hard and push their limits. Cause if you don’t push your limits you’ll never get anywhere. I’ve got some stuff set up by the field, how about it?”

“Like an obstacle course?” you ask.

“Well that’s one of them, but I’m always up for a spar. Hell, if there’s a special exercise you want to try I’m pretty sure I’ve heard of it before.”

Sounds tempting,

You had some time so you opted for a little bit of both. After all the effort Yomikawa-sensei went through to put it together you wanted to run it at least once or twice. She even boasted that you’d be unable to beat her time under five tries. It was a given that you wouldn’t make the time on your first try given the need to crawl and climb at several points. Still it took you almost a minute. By the third run however you’d shaved it down to forty seconds which was the best you could do as you started slipping up in the last two. Still didn’t beat her time though you did figure out how to climb things in a hurry.

Having warmed up appropriately, your next obstacle course was of course Yomikawa-sensei herself.

“Should I call you master?”

“Yeah no, a girl younger than you called me a guru already,” she answers, “Remember this ain’t boxing.”

Given that you didn’t have enough time to go in to the theory of it she elected to beat it in to you instead. Disarming and disabling your attacks, yet always slipping through your guard, you pick a few things here and there regarding CQC.

“Remember four things out there,” her final words to you before lunch, “Counter as you defend, go for the weak points, hit hard and fast to end the fight quick as you can and be aware of the environment so you can exploit it.”

You manage to catch up with Sagara for lunch along with the other students who were part of the Level Upper class. What made it awkward was Kaitabi who was eying you nervously. Sagara didn’t seem to mind too much however and for his sake you kept your mouth shut. It’s not every day you see a bomber and his victim sit peacefully down for lunch. You did however give him the “I’m watching you” gesture before enjoying your lunch.

Once that was over you found Komoe-sensei.

“Torikov-kun, I don’t know whether to scold you or myself more for that drinking contest,” she sighs as you greet her.

“If it makes you feel better I’m up for some learning.”

“Really?”

“Yeah, I want to understand how my Ability works exactly.”

That Level 2 TK-user in the Railgun manga could toss a rubber ball, but she may have been on the lower end of 2s.

Word of OP also gives us these as our limits:
>I'll reiterate them in the next thread IC but for now I'm thinking that you can lift as much as human can but you can only move it as far as you can throw it. So maybe you can tilt a car by lifting its side a bit but you'll probably not be able to toss it around. Your control is also equivalent to how easy it is to handle with your hands. With some practice you could sign your name but you probably wouldn't be able to swing a sledgehammer like a lightsaber.
He later mentions us using our power to write answers.

Lifting ourself should be within the acceptable limits of our power, although it'd probably be slow. Probably wouldn't be able to do much/anything while doing it.

He can tell teleporters to fuck off because their power works by moving through the eleventh dimension. We have no idea how our power works. If there is no vector involved, he shouldn't be able to do anything. Depending on how the vector works, he may also have issues accounting for it initially.

Being Level X doesn't really have anything to do with it. Our power at Level 1-5 should operate in the same way, our ability to use it just gets stronger.

>>30486380
I mentioned that we were borderline Level 2/3 some time ago. Maybe at the next system scan you'll show up at Level 3.

There's no reason there shouldn't be a vector given how we've used our power so far.

We've applied a force to things that moved it in certain directions. I mean sure, standard Personal Reality bullshit says it may still not have vectors, but that'd just be something that comes out of nowhere at this point.
>>
>>30486518
Only specific description of a level 2 is this.

>Her ability’s called Violence Doughnut, an ability to increase the centrifugal force in her by 0.5 to 2 times, and she’s a Level 2. Centrifugal force, one of the basics when fighting, increases destructiveness, but her bones and muscles are as only tough as a human's, so her trait was that her bones will snap if she punched really hard.

If she can double the force of her own body, than lifting up our own weight as a level 2 should be about where we are.

>There's no reason there shouldn't be a vector given how we've used our power so far.
Why would telekinesis have a vector?

Esper powers are magic (in the sense that they're supernatural).

Of course, this is largely a moot point because science in Raildex has always operated however Kamachi wanted it to, so everything is a vector since Accelerator has to be the number 1.
>>
>>30486601
You know, I might just make one regardless of the arcs we go through. I originally thought to offer it as a kind of neat little thing that wasn't particularly relevant all the time. We'll talk more about it after the thread.
>>
>>30486633
A vector is anything with a magnitude and direction.

Given how our TK has worked so far, it has vectors.

Really most things have vectors, because anything that interacts with anything else generally moves with force to do so. Even scalars have vectors attached to them, which is why Accel can manipulate things like heat (heat is a scalar, but heat flux is a vector).
>>
>>30486633
could Kyril just use his TK to pinch some blood vessels in his brain and give him a seizure.

of course the best way to deal with edgy albino is avoid him or sic the Flash on him
>>
>>30486662
Probably not?

Pretty much everyone with any power (or without it) went up against the albino for years trying to claim the #1 spot. And TK is one of the more common abilities.

If you want to explain how, he could control the inside of his body to keep himself alive while bleeding to death, and again while using magic. His AIM field extends through his whole body apparently.

>>30486729

>>
>>30486657
Yes, but if the generation of our telekinesis at point A doesn't have a vector and just shows up (because it's magic), we could theoretically bypass Accelerators reflect, as it's only generated around him.

Sure, Accelerator will figure it out pretty quickly and adjust his power to compensate, so we'd have to try to incapacitate him in that short gap. Which is basically how anything short of an Angel has to fight Accelerator.
>of course the best way to deal with edgy albino is avoid him
Yes. At least until post-Sisters.
>>
>>30486758
Well, he still has to breath, so I figured it might be outside of his barriers program. That mightwork though. Just suffocate him. dont engage with him directly at all, but deprive him of what he needs to sustain life(or consciousness)

It just so happens that your Telekinesis generates some kind of force which then acts on an object, causing it to move about or what have you. In simpler terms, you hand an invisible hand. Granted it had the potential to do more than just a simple hand but that you were knew was just a matter of practice now. The trick, as Komoe-sensei put it, was to envision a field of some kind that could do things for you. She also talked of the potential uses of having these force fields. For one they could act like a shield or they could lift things several times heavier than you and with an unparalleled finesse. Things like that which seemed to be a pipe dream now seem attainable.

Of course, in the way of all that are physics and the math that it entailed. You had to understand how to form a field in a more precise manner and then transform it in such a way to have a desired effect. Most of what you have been doing so far was like using a giant hammer to bash stuff around like you were in a game of croquet. This was demonstrated when Komoe-sensei made you do the Columbus Egg exercise except this time she gave you the dimensions of the egg. You found that you managed to keep it upright for about a minute before you lost your concentration and the egg once again imploded in your face.

>Pretty much everyone with any power (or without it) went up against the albino for years trying to claim the #1 spot. And TK is one of the more common abilities.
The only people in Raildex that do anything interesting with their abilities are Kakine and Misaka. It took ten-thousand battles for the Misaka network to figure out Accelerator was reflecting shit. I wouldn't be surprised if every telekine that attacked him just tried throwing shit at him.
I'm not saying we can or should fight Accelerator, I'm just point out that there are creative ways we could try to get around his reflect.
>>30486733
It's always on, although he has basically has a list of shit that gets let through all the time. Sound, light, etc. This might leave him vulnerable to the esper interrupting sound that we helped use against the Dicktaker.
>>
>>30486837
The time is now afternoon, the weather is still not homoerotic, and the date remains the same.

You walk home with Sagara who had undergone a new System Scan. It seems he’s become a Level 1 now. His Ability, Sound Cloud, was sound-based psychometry which allowed him to be a walking bat when he needed to be. You may not have gone up a Level official but it damn well felt like you’ve achieved something today.

Of course, you’ve already had a party last night and you wanted to take it easy for a bit. That said, you recall that you still were in possession of Trick’s wallet. It still had some cash and his ID in it. The age given was older than you and also of legal age and thus could acquire you provisions normally restricted to yourself.

>Use Trick’s ID to acquire alcohol
>Just groceries are fine

*Breathe
Anyway, my basic idea was just to find something beneath his notice and use it to fuck him up before he can do anything about it.

Though If I was going to do it, i'd try with some kind of mental ability, hypnosis or telepathy, though chances are it'd make up some kind of brain wave or something for it to redirect.

Using stolen shit is a bad idea
>>
>>30486844
It's on a magnitude kind of thing. He only lets certain amounts and types of light through, which is why he's albino.

Anti-Esper shit works against him fine though. When he had to invade somewhere that had it set up, he just threw a car at the generator from a mile away before he went in.

I always figured he either reflected all light outside the visible spectrum. If he reflected the visible spectrum, he should look like a man made of mirrors.
>>
>>30486873
Hard to say if telepathy affects him or not. The only Esper kind we've seen is the type that emits a wave or "line" (in the case of that one judgement girl), so he should reflect it fine.

Measure Heart though thought that she may be able to affect him with her power, and she's a telepath of a sort. Though she's a really weird kind of telepath.
>>
>>30486900
We could try just creating a telekinetic bubble around his body outside the reach of his arms. Since he needs contact to vector shit, he wouldn't be able to interfere with it or pull air in from outside. It would take a while, but it should work. We'd also have to figure out the actual mechanics.
>>
>>30486900
how exactly?
>>
>>30486992
Nah. He can manipulate gravity as well, and can multiply the effects of his own body, he doesn't need anything external. Plus worst case he has his clothes and shoes.

>The reflection ability could be done unconsciously through some simple calculations. He just needed to calculate the minimum required forces (gravity, air pressure, light, oxygen, heat, sound wavelength, etc.) and redirect everything else. If he really redirected all forces, he would be tossed out of the atmosphere because gravity was redirected.

>“If you reflect sound then you can’t hear anything, and if you reflect physical objects you cannot hold anything. You subconsciously establish a filter that sees everything as harmful or not, and use your reflect to push away anything that could harm you.”

As much as acquiring alcohol was tempting, you decide against it. You were pretty sure the stores would check anyway and it’s not like you couldn’t use his cash to contribute towards your grocery funds. Thanks to that you manage to stock up on a good amount of food that could see you through a few more days. It is as you are walking back that you are greeted with a familiar face.

It was Trick and his flunkies though the former was in a wheelchair. You do notice that he has a cane across his lap though and his flunkies weren’t exactly unarmed either. One of them had a chain spilling out of his jeans and the other had a bulge in his pocket. It could only be a cosh, some brass knuckles or his erection and you doubted it was the last one.

“Hey,” Trick greets you, “Funny meeting you here?”

He makes a show of slowly getting out of his wheelchair.

“So, did you trade in your slut for some dick or what?”

“There are two more guys coming up behind us in a side alley,” Sagara whispers.

“Whatever, I just want my wallet back alright? I know you took it,” he continues, “Just be grateful I didn’t call Anti-Skill out on ya.”

Kakine, Kihara. Measure Heart thought she had a shot. It's possible to get around it, you just need to be creative.

>>
>>30487475
Kihara ain't an Esper. Though Umidori used the same method (though she also had Accelerator's thought patterns inserted).

I'll give you that it almost certainly would have gotten through, since she was only scared that it might not even matter whether it got through or not since Accel is crazy and might not have a problem with killing someone he's "close" to.
>>
>>30487547
It's less that she was scared he wouldn't care if he was close to her, and more she was scared that he'd feel so betrayed he'd go into a rage.

>“I see,” responded the girl in the dress with no real emotion. “Do whatever you want, but I’m not taking any part with a battle against Accelerator.”

>“Ah?”

>“My Measure Heart regulates the distance between people’s hearts. So if I take the distance of the person Accelerator is closest to, I may be able to make him hesitate in attacking.”

>“And?”

>“But not everyone reacts to feeling like the person closest to them is an enemy by stopping their attack. Some people go into a frenzy and come in with an even harsher attack because they feel that person has betrayed them. …Can we trust Accelerator to not do that? Sorry, but I get the feeling he would attack me no matter where I set the distance to. He’s too muddy to read.”

You didn’t want any trouble tonight either and you toss it back at him with your Ability. He catches it deftly.

“Smart,” he laughs, “If you didn’t you’d have been the second unluckiest bastard we’d meet tonight. Still, watch your back eh? I hear some shits gonna go down soon.”

You wordless walk away from him and using Sagara’s newly improved Ability, attempt to lose the two guys who had started stalking after you when you parted ways with Trick. They most likely weren’t part of Trick’s guys but you couldn’t be sure. Then it was probably part of his warning. They were pretty tenacious in their tailing however and it didn’t help that crowds messed with Sagara’s ability to distinguish your pursuers. There were still people out and about yet however so it wasn’t like a fight could develop here. That was assuming they cared about getting away with it cleanly and given some Abilities, they probably could.

There weren’t that many options seeing as you weren’t successful in losing them. You could confront them but that would require setting up some kind of ambush or you could call in someone to tip the scales. Just being out numbered was usually enough to dissuade this kind of thing. Hell, you’re pretty sure this was Kaoru’s beat.

Since they weren’t leaving you alone, you had to make them leave you alone. But first, you wanted that small extra layer of insurance. Besides it was basically in the Judgement job description.

“Kaoru?” you ask as she picks up, “Hey are you in District 7?”

“I suppose that I am. Do you require some assistance?”

“I think I’m being followed by these two shifty dudes. It’s probably nothing but I’d like to let you know that I’ll be in an alley by the josePH’s and Pizza Hut in about ten minutes and if I don’t call back in fifteen then,” you leave your request unspoken.

“A wise precaution, I shall be with you soon.”

Hanging up you and Sagara make good time. It allowed you to set aside your groceries so that they need not be unnecessary casualties of war. You also get to take stock of the environment. It’s not too wide, three or four metres altogether. There was a dumpster as well as smaller trash cans. The alley joined the street you came in from with another. Three minutes later your pursuers enter the alley. One is short and a bit of a fatty, the other looks lean and mean. It doesn’t that they make a face to see you waiting for them.

“So what can I do for you?”

“Shut up, trash like you don’t shouldn’t talk.”

They pull out knives. If you didn’t need to go to school today you may have had your gun with you. At least you had Sagara with you.

You’re pretty sure Yomikawa-sensei never said anything about knives but you do your best regardless. Besides, you were only stalling for time and didn’t necessarily mean you had to beat them. As long as you weren’t bleeding you’d probably be fine. That however did not stop you from bitch slapping fatty with a trash can loaded with garbage as he lunged at you with tunnel vision. Lean guy dove after Sagara but it seems your friend found some PVC piping to keep his opponent in check.

Fatty’s still dazed though and trusting to your street experience and Yomikawa’s advice, smash him back down with the same trash can until he drops his knife and slumps against the wall. With a quick flick you send the trash can flying towards Sagara’s opponent who manages to evade it. Jumping in to the opening Sagara tackles him and wrestles the lean guy with the knife. You try and use your Ability to remove the knife from lean guy’s grasp but he’s got a pretty good grip on it. Not to mention he’s doing his damned best to hold on to it. But the distraction is enough for Sagara to nail him with a good shot in the face. This in turn loosens his grasp on the knife and you take it out of his reach and give him a kick in the head for good measure.

That is the scene in which Kaoru and Shirai find you.

“Fighting again? Seriously,” Shirai is radiating disapproval, “Can’t you take up less troublesome hobbies than knife fighting thugs in an alley?”

“Maybe that’s why your girl is so into you,” Sagara jokes, “Instead of long walks on the beach its knife fights in an alley.”

“Shut up Sagara,” you reply in good humour.

Kaoru quickly gets your statement though the two thugs have nothing to say. The four of you find something on them however. It is a sticker. Judgement takes it away as if it was some sort of clue and you part ways with them shortly.

Back in your dorm, you’re still mulling over Trick’s warning. It seemed he was telling the truth though you’re unsure what he meant by being the second unluckiest guy today. Surely he was not referring to Kamijou. Hell you’re not even sure what kind of connection they have. It makes you uneasy just thinking about it. Your cell phone flips open and closed as you mull it over.

Bah, you should be doing something productive!

Well since you were feeling empowered today you try the levitating yourself trick. Sitting down crossed-legged on your bed you envision a plane of force underneath you and will yourself up. It works and you’ve gone higher than you’ve gone before but as soon as you move your height decreases dramatically. Bouncing off the bed you nearly hit the floor though not as hard as you imagined you would have. Perhaps you could slow down your falls. That seemed smarter now that you think about it. A fitting end to the day.

With only a pillow to cushion the impact you let yourself fall forward. As you approach the floor you will your Ability to support you up. It’s unnerving how close you are to the floor yet are still suspended above it. Given that you could slow your falls you not all that eager to jump out your window just yet. Still it seemed like a good thing to know.

Episode 11 End. Haha time for interludes! Or should I say, interlewds?

You are The Dean and are one probably the last of your kind. After all, a longsword forged at the end of the 16th century meant there was little demand for you. But you saw use, glorious bloody use, and it was from there that you became sentient. Now you are in the hands of a young lady, the kind you were created for, and are about to see greatness at her hands. For when she masters herself, you will bring her unparalleled skill. A kind that is not known of mortals for many years and through it, she will become legend.

That day however is in the far future and your immediate task lay ahead of you. You had been drawn in a confrontation with three or four thugs. The lack of eyes does little to hamper your ability to sense the vibrations of the air around you. Something is clearly affecting your wielder but it is no matter for when she draws you, she draws upon the means to victory itself. You can’t give it to her. No, that was now how you worked. Still you aided your partner by,

You become near weightless in her hands, or that is what she feels. Where she wills, you go without hesitation. When you land, you land with all the force that a sword of your mass could impart. She is no stranger to the sensation and hacks nearly halfway through a ruffian’s thigh before she pulls you out again. This blood, it is not the blood of a Turk but it will do. You are not a cursed sword but in blood is iron. It is from it that you sustain your near pristine appearance and the core of your strength. Years of neglect had taught you how maintain a reserve of your power though even the tiniest drops.

Before you know it you are in another again. A male, but his blood is familiar. It is almost as if he was a descendent of your owners. Whether it was true or not was irrelevant however. You were made to serve only ladies and yours had just let go. It was impossible that someone could ever take you away from your owner in the midst of a battle. Thus it could only be that your wielder had let go deliberately. Her presence dims as you feel the wind and the blood mix.

He was not your true wielder. He was not your rightful owner. Thus you would not speak to him. Even if you did, it would only do little save spook him. The thought was entertaining for all of one instance. Since for you time is only related to the changes you under go and feel, it is when the coolness of water wiping away the blood did you feel concerned. What was the young man doing? Still you could feel your connection to your true owner. She was near. Very near.

In a flash you are reunited with her and though you are joyous, singing a song only a metal may know, you can feel it. She has changed. It was natural. She had changed. Was the boy? It could be, but the root of her troubles is not love. Thus if he was her lover, she would not have changed in that way. Their brief conversations and murmurs you overhear aren’t as enlightening as it should be. Still here is a boy with the potential to aid her. Perhaps the next time they meet it shall again and this with blades to cross.

There is no need for you to act yet. You preserve your power. There is no need to go leaking it out like a malevolent tumour and demand his head for this. This could be beneficial yet and as she properly oils your blade once more, you reflect that it is perhaps due to her that you have yet to turn in to those monstrous swords of legend. Even the country you now inhabit has legends of them. They are swords that cry for blood like needy children and drive their wielders to useless insanity.

It is when she unsheathes you next that you feel the rush of battle. This is a rush and you were wise to stay your blade for now she calls upon your power.

“I hereby swear that I forbid the existence of something which I cannot cut!” she intones.

You oblige. The power your store brings parts the very air itself. Mere concrete and steel are no match for your cutting power.

Interlude End. Thursday is looking free for me. My days are really booked now. Check my twitter for a prospective time gents. I’ll also work on a character sheet if time permits.

A date. There are tough decisions ahead. Will you make the right call? When writefag and /tg/ meet the story begins.
Off to bed now. Will answer questions through twitter later if there are any.

thanks for running tired European man.

I ordered the first 3 volumes of the railgun mango, mostly because of this thread.

also, I watched the first season of index, how far should i skip ahead in the light novels, assuming I'm not missing anything left out from the anime?
>>
>>30492143
Just read all of the light novels. The anime skips a ton of stuff. Crams several entire novels into one or two episodes at one point.
>>
>>30492143
>>30492209
That said, until volume 14 the translation is varies in quality a fair bit.

If you're starting after the first season, start at volume 7. There's a side story from volume 5 you'll miss, but it's not all that important.
>>
>>30492268
Gah.

*translation varies

Also to clarify what's skipped, volume 2 skips a Aurelous clone arc, and skips alot of New-Touma's characterization, Volume 3 describes the Accel fight much better, Volume 4 skips a whole serial killer arc but it's not all that important, and volume 6 skips alot of Keikaku.
>>
>>30492310
>>30492209
>>30492268
okay thanks, I think I'll start at vol 3 read skip to the next volume if I get bored until I hit 7.

also, thread archived.
