It’s 6PM and the sun is setting. Your name is Tabitha, and you’re a student at Luna Girls’ Academy, a school for rich young daughters of high society, out on a hillside in the country. It’s technically a holiday, so most of the student body have gone home to visit family; however around thirty girls have remained on the grounds to prepare for the Full Moon Festival, a local tradition. The school’s presence at the festival consists of a dance, sports demonstration, and several stalls at the village square, so various groups are currently working all over the place under the supervision of the student council with only a few teachers in the staff room to keep an eye on the students. You are part of the Seniors group, working on a pastry stall. Known among many of the students as a reliable, helpful person, your nickname is “Everyone’s Tabby”. Naturally, everyone’s relying on you to fetch materials from the storehouse outside the main school building. You’re currently carrying a bucket of blue paint, a bag full of brushes, and a hobby knife on the way back to the 2-F classroom.

The sky seems slightly redder than normal as the sun sets. You are standing in front of the school, and can see the six sports team girls going on a run off in the distance. Nearby are some of the junior girls eating afternoon tea next to an unfinished stall, and a disciplinary committee girl is frowning as she marks something on a clipboard. Next to you, rubbing her sore leg is a well-endowed girl with curly hair extensions. She looks up and gives you a full-lipped smile.

What's your first move?
>>

GAME TIPS:
>Tabitha knows most students and will naturally know their names when conversing
>There is a time limit, but this game is about survival horror so staying alive/human will be your goal
>Negiotiation is key to keeping the group together!
>>
>>30476297
>Tabitha
Clearly we're the most well-prepared person in the school for VAMPIRE SURVIVAL!
>>
>>30476297
Smile back. Encourage the juniors to not waste too much time. Complete current task.
>implying we'll even try to avoid going vamp
>>
>>30476297
Smile back, make some small-talk and ask the girl how she injured her leg.
No place to start like the mundane! Besides, this girl is clearly doomed to the good old 'injured person who can't keep up with the others and gets caught' horror trope.
>>
>>30476297
>Smile back, talk to disciplinary committee girl
Trouble on the home front?
>>
>>30476297
Do we know their names? Do we even know them?
>>
>>30476300
>>Tabitha knows most students and will naturally know their names when conversing

also you forgot to put QUEST in the subject field.
>>
>>30476344

"Hey Betty," you say, "what happened to your leg?"

Betty is one of your best friends in class. She's very attractive, but approachable and easy to work with. The curvy girl pushes her curls to the side and waves her hand.
"It's nothing, just pulled it on the way back from the water coolers. I'll be fine in a few minutes." She shoos you off.

>>30476338

You head over to the two Junior girls and recognize them as Kate and Alessa. They're well-known for being slackers and for playing off each other. They even have matching pigtails.

"You two better not take forever, we need to have everything sorted by tomorrow."
"We'll be done sooon" sing the girls in a chorus as they much down some parfaits. You sigh.

>>30476368

"Good to see you setting an example, Tabitha."
You turn as Anya, the leader of the Disciplinary Committee, walks up. Anya has an awful bowl cut with textbook brown hair and a flat chest free of physical indulgences (and boobs). She's a very stuck-up person, but passionate, so you're good at handling her.

"Just making sure everything is on schedule." You look up at the sky again. "Ever seen it like this?"

Anya rolls her eyes. "Not you too. Sierra was saying this red sky is some sort of bad omen, but superstitious nonsense is not something the Academy encourages."

What a stiff. Where to next?
>>
>>30476378
See >>30476300, spud
>>
>>30476422
Well we still have the paint, brushes, and so on that we need to take to 2-F, so lets head there and drop it off, finish one task at a time.

If we see people we know on the way say hi and get an idea of how things are going.
>>
>>30476422
"My, where's your sense of romance, Anya? This kind of mysterious atmosphere is the energizing water for the roots of a growing maiden's heart!"
Don't actually say this, or at least not seriously.
Let's get on with our work and move the equipment to 2-F, keeping an eye out for other people we know.
>>
>>30476422
[x] >>30476458
do it do it do it
>>
Tackle the the nearest girl and jam your fingers into her cunt
>>
>>30476422
>My, where's your sense of romance, Anya?

We're doing this.
>>
>>30476458
This is cheesy as fuck, but is it appropriately cheesy for VAMPIRE SCHOOL SURVIVAL QUEST, or too cheesy? I must think harder on it...
>>
>>30476447

You smile and say, "Where's your sense of romance, Anya?"
Anya just gives you a glare. Oh well.

You head back towards the main school building. The Main Block is huge, three stories of concrete and educational material, and runs along the front of the school's field. The doors are open and inviting, and you head out of the red afternoon light and into the shadows of the entrance hall. The lights are on inside, but there doesn't seem to be anyone around.

Then you hear something behind you outside. It's a very distant...crackling noise, like from electricity. You think about investigating, it but then you hear some yelling upstairs. Sounds like Natalie and Chris are at it again.

Which do you investigate?
>>
>>30476496
It's DANGEROUSLY CHEESY, which is why we're saying it as a joke.
RIGHT OP
IT'S A JOKE
OKAY?
>>
>>30476516
Go to the girl's locker room and steal Anya's panties/gym bloomers whatever
>>
>>30476516
Yelling.
>>
>>30476516
Find Natalie and Chris, get them to deliver the goods if they have time (otherwise leave it with them for now), then tell them about the crackling and say you're going to investigate it. Might be electricity, in which case it might be dangerous and we should put up a sign.
>>
>>30476536
That's mean, anon.
>>
>>30476516
Head towards the yelling, get them calmed down and delegate stuff to them.
>>
>>30476516
>Reprimand Natalie and Chris and have them deliver our things a punishment tor being a tsundere couple

Then we go steal Aya's gym clothes.
>>
>>30476539
>>30476543
>>30476574

What are those two doing? You head up the double-spaced stairwell, growing gradually more irritated as you crest the second floor. Those girls...

Natalie and Christina are standing outside the 2-F classroom, screaming at each other. Well, more like the dark-haired, ponytail-bearing Natalie is doing most of the screaming and Chris the short-haired tomboy is baiting her further and further. As you approach, it seems the argument is about Chris putting casual slang on the one of the signs.

"Girls, what are you doing?" You say, as the pair of them turn to you. Christ grins as Natalie folds her arms and gives you an aggravated look. She points at Chris.

"This idiot tried to put some Lowlands crap on our stall! We're supposed to be representing our school not the society of illiterates. Reign her in Tabitha or I'll refuse to work with her."

You notice your fellow group members inside looking bemused. Christ just laughs in her hearty manner, short hair bobbing. "You're so easy to get a rise out of."

Natalie puffs up again. She's going to burst. You know that with only a small group of people you need Natalie to stay and work but she's not going to be much use with Chris ribbing her all the time.

Again you feel you notice a distant crackling.

What's your move?
>>
>>30476629
"Chris? Manual labour. Natalie? Calm down."
Dump our load on Chris and go investigate the noise.
>>
>>30476629
Grab heads, force kiss, have them make up.

Then go and check out that noise.
>>
>>30476629
Ask Chris to stop teasing Natalie so much, at least for now, and ask Natalie to try and be more calm and not let Chris rile her up. Then tell them about the crackling and ask them to carry the paint and stuff to 2-F while we investigate.
>>
>>30476629
Chastise the two of them for flirting when we have so much work to do.

If Chris can't make signs properly she can deliver our things to the class instead.

Then we go investigate the electric sounds.
>>
>>30476629
"Stop flirting, we have work to do."

Have Chris take the paints and brushes and pass them out to where they need to be. Then go investigate the electric sounds after letting the others know what we're doing.
>>
>>30476667

"Chris? Manual labor."
You shove your bag of supplies and paint can into her arms.
"Natalie? Calm down."
You push them back inside.
"Stop teasing each other, stop wasting time, or I'll come back and force you to kiss and make up. Natalie's face wrinkles up. Chris grins.
"Anyway, I heard something weird earlier, so I'm going to and check it out. I should be back soon."
"Weird how?" asks Natalie. She's always been one to one-up you, it's no surprise she's being nosy.
"Like, a crackly electrical noise. I'm not going to do anything stupid."

You wave goodbye to your group and jog slowly down the hallway, back the way you came. However as you reach the stairwell, a soft voice calls out to you.

"Tabitha, if I could have a word?"

The voice comes from within Class 2-E. You go inside to see Serena working on the floor on a large banner, and three frilly maids around her, sewing. Serena looks up at you and smiles gracefully, which helps downplay the fact that she's working alone but for her hired help.

"I was wondering, what do you think of the colors of this banner? I'm not well versed in the masses' tastes but I hope this is adequate." She holds up a white-and-blue sheet with Full Moon written on it in block letters. She must have spent all day on this, you can tell by the sweat beneath her beautiful platinum blonde hair.

Serena is a very rich girl even for this Private academy, and is royalty, the daughter of one of the kings' brothers. She's a lovely, elegant girl but nobody knows how to approach her. She's been polite enough to you, but... yeah.

Will you stay and chat or head off?
>>
>>30476758
Confirm that the plebeians should be blown away, then mention that we're taking care of something real quick and will be back soon.
>>
>>30476758
Eeeeeeeeeh, alright, chat a little. But not too long, we need to check out that noise!
>>
where are the vampires, op
you said there would be vampires
>>
>>30476787
You gotta establish the setting first, anon.
>>
>>30476758
Commend her on her fine work, they should be pleased.

Tell her we're off to investigate the electrical noise but would like spend time with her once we've finished.
>>
>>30476758
Stay and chat.
>>
>>30476809
Sure, this seems a good compromise.
>>
>>30476776
>>30476779
>>30476809
>>30476812

You force a smile. A minute or two won't hurt.

"I think it looks amazing, Serena."
Her eyes sparkle slightly.
"Oh, really?"
"Yeah!" you say, striking the air with your fist, "They'll be blown away!"
That awkward phrase floats in the air. Serena blinks, but then you see a warm smile break forth on her blushing face as her maids start to clap enthusiastically. Okaaay.

"Oh Miss Tabitha, you sure know how to motivate me," says Serena as she returns to her sewing with renewed vigor. You say your goodbyes and exit quickly, promising to come back and see her later. Serena is nice enough but she can be a bit strange.

Down the stairwell again, you arrive back in the entrance hall, but something feels different. The crackling sound is gone, but...

As you step out into the red twilight, a strange voice echoes in the back of your mind. A sweet, velvet peal of womanly laughter. Laughter without compassion or happiness. You feel a little ill.

You snap out of your stupor, though, as the sky suddenly begins to ripple and distort. Confused, you state in disbelief as nasty-looking red runes appear in a circle above, and the breeze stops dead. What the hell is this?

Then, ahead of you, there's a scream. It's Kate, she rounds the pathway and turns towards the school, her face streaked with tears with eyes wide like a deer in the headlights. Then suddenly something jumps on her from behind!
>>
>>30476908
You watch in horror as Kate is held down by a writhing, pale figure in...your uniform? Its head raises...it's Alessa! Or was. Alessa's eyes glow red like the sky above and saliva drips from...are those fangs?! The ghoulish mockery of a girl sinks her teeth into Kate's neck, and Kate screams and gurgles...and goes limp.

Then she gets up. Accompanies by the grinning, drooling Alessa, Kate jerks to her feet as her skin goes shock white, new red eyes beaming. The two...Vampires?...turn towards you. You see no sign of intelligence or recognition.

What the fuck do you do? You're in the doorway and unarmed.
>>
>>30476918
Back through doorway. Close door. Run.
Goddamnit OP, vampires don't work like that. Ghouls can't turn people.
>>
>>30476946

they're being controlled right now, that's what the glowing eyes signify
>>
>>30476908
Turn right and bolt down the hall and into the first classroom on you left side.

>>30476946
>Back through doorway. Close door. Run.
Schools don't work like that anon
>>
>>30476918
Well, fucknuggets.

We should probably not stay here. If we can close the doors and bar them with a convenient piece of wood or metal do so.

Then skedaddle, keep our eyes open for fire extinguishers or other possible improvised weapons. Get back to the people we were with.
>>
It's running time!
>>
>>30476918
Run.
Screaming is optional.
>>
There is easily weaponized silver runnoff in the photography room(inside of the film processor), just saying in most high schools that have a photography room.

Also the darkroom is a great place to hide if the person doesn't know it's a thing because it's usually out of sight and light sealed.

Just saying.

Also rape the maids.
>>
>>30477073
There are schools with photography rooms?

Damn, of course I gotta go just as things start happening.

You step back. They step forward. You step back inside. they take another step.

You slam the fucking door shut and shove some chairs under it to lock it, and go wobbly-kneeded as the Vampires (?) start banging on the door outside. After a few seconds you start to breathe again as you realize they don't seem to be much stronger than regular girls. But what about-

Suddenly the door to the dorms at the end of the hallway to your right slams open. It's Sierra and the Track Team! You run over to them.

Sierra runs through, her powerful muscles throbbing, followed by the dark-skinned and energetic Emily, the tall and popular Kara, and with the exhausted second-year girl Fiona. Sierra slams the door shut just as two white-skinned Juniors in tracksuits with glowing eyes come into view.

"What the hell was that?" says Sierra, panting. "We were just running when suddenly I slam headfirst into this...I don't know, shit, invisible wall! Then Erica is suddenly biting Karen, and-" she coughs and collapses alongside her team. "Shit."

"Was that a zombie?" says Emily, also winded. Fiona starts to cry, and Kara pats her head gently. "It might just be a temporary thing. Let's be calm." she says.

"Calm?" you say, pointing behind you, "Kate and Alessa are, uh, monsters-" "Zombies?" "-monsters now too."

"They're vampires," says Fiona, her eyes full of tears, "You saw those fangs, right? They're gonna suck our blood, we're gonna turn into them, and, and-" She starts bawling, her headband sliding forward.

(cont'd)
>>
>>30477112
Then, Sierra jumps to her feet.

"Tabby, listen, I'm going to go around and lock all the doors on the first level." She gives you a serious look. "Then I'll come back and we'll go up. You go ahead and get everyone together, then we'll cross the second-floor bridge to the Club Building and get the Prez to help. Okay?"

She offers you a handshake. Sierra is a tall, imposing person who does things in a very manly way, but she's very sincere. With a shake, she runs off.

Okay, you have several options on destination. The Main building has two levels of classrooms, one Teachers' Office (nobody there right now, the Teachers are in their own dorms on the other side of the sports track), and one Infirmary. Your friends are on the second floor in the middle, and there's also the Culture Club on the third floor at the far end where three students are. You are currently at the far right end of the bottom floor, near Kara, Emily and Fiona who are recovering.

Where to? Feel free to ask questions as well.
>>
>>30477121
Clearly we must go with good friend and patented horror media logic, and go to the second floor to round up survivors first. Once she comes back, or has been gone a long time.

Also, if these things aren't that strong, strength in numbers can actually mean something - as long as they don't get a bite in, we can fight them.
>>
>>30477121
Friends on the 2nd floor. Are our phones not working, because I think it's about time to call the HAZMATs.
>>
>>30477121
"No. Nobody goes anywhere alone."
Too many entry points on the ground floor; we can't assume the doors will hold forever. Pull everyone up to the second floor and barricade the stairs.
>>
>>30477121
We should probably check the other rooms we have access to from here, just in case they have people who were doing work/snuck off to laze about/snuck off to get it on.
>>
>>30477167
Supporting.
>>
>>30477121
Where is the best place to acquire improvised weapons, maybe wooden poles used in construction for the festival that we sharpen with some sort of blade.

We need to get materials for weapons and assign people to arming everyone else. Get everyone up to the second floor, find defensible positions, set people to blocking stairwells with chairs so we can stab them with reach weapons from behind a barricade.
>>
>>30477096
Of course, not to mention the schools with metal shops. (they probably don't have those in japan) but if they did you could easily set up an explosive trap that would blow any undead nasties and 100 or so square ft of the school back to hell.
>>
>>30477167
>>30477179

"Wait! Sierra."

You grab her arm.
"Nobody goes alone."

Sierra nods, and goes over to Kara, the least-exhausted girl. "I'll take Kara, then, okay? It'll take us a few seconds. You can come too if you want.

>>30477176

Sierra and Kara run ahead, and you follow, checking every room. There's no sign of anyone, but you close shut a few open windows just to be safe. You wonder if Betty got back upstairs...

Once all the windows are locked, Sierra and Kara go to help up Emily and Fiona, who can barely stand. You head upstairs ahead of them, thinking. You need weapons, barricades, anything really.

>>30477166
>>30477148
>>30477182

"Tabitha? What's going on, we heard shouting-"
"Not now Natalie, quick, inside the classroom."

You bundle the protesting Natalie inside. the concern on your face causing everyone to stop work. Inside the room are Natalie, Chris, the nerdy ginger Rachel, the shy and delicate brunette Samantha, and the short and bossy twin-tailed Ann.

"Guys, listen, we've-"

You pause. How the hell are you going to explain this? The window view doesn't show the entrance. What do you say?

>>30477182
Probably the top floor (storage, craft club room) and the Club building.
>>
>Serena acts weird
>Serena has the same hair color as OP's image

Guys... Now, I don't wanna point fingers, but she might be the Vampire.
>>
>>30476297
>Just spent all night playing Caslevania.
My time to shine!
>>
>>30477329

Hey, there's an idea.

You guys stuck on the speech?
>>
>>30477249
Tell them its... uh... a strain of human rabies or something. That's the lie they like to tell in zombie movies, and people who don't know how rabies actually works (it doesn't make people crazy like that at all) might believe that way easier than "THE SURPRISE WAS VAMPIRES!", and it gets the message across.

It's also retarded, but we're in a horror movie so maybe it'll fly.

>>30477329
I'm not feeling it just yet. Something to keep in mind though.
>>
>>30477436

"Listen, I just saw Alessa bite Kate and make her go insane. I think it's Rabies."

The group just stare at you blankly. Chris chuckles awkwardly. "If this is a joke-"
"It's not a joke," you insist. You stare her down. You're deadly serious.

The other girls look at each other awkwardly- except Natalie. She just rolls her eyes and shoves past you. "I'm going to the restroom" she says casually.

Rachel furrows her brow. She's a cheery, goofy kind of girl, but even she seems put off by your sudden seriousness. "You're serious, aren't you?" she says, folding her arms. "Oh god, this is insane." They don't even know the half of it.

"Anyway, Sierra and I locked up all the doors downstairs. We're going to need to stick together and get some supplies gathered. I have no idea how long it'll be until help comes."

Samantha, a frail, dainty little thing, raises her hand. "Um, Tabitha, shouldn't we get the teachers? Ms. Pritcher and Ms. Gardner might know what to do, and there's a phone in the Teachers' Office since they don't let us bring in our own phones."

If your memory serves, both teachers were chilling out in their Dorm on the other side of the field, and you hope they're okay.

"Don't forget Betty!" says Ann, her small frame shaking as she gesticulates wildy. "She's down on the first floor, right?"

Wait, is she? Did she not come past?

You also should probably get Natalie, or the Classics Club girls, or check on Sierra's group...There's many options.

What's your next move?
>>
>>30477529
Lets grab Natalie, the last thing we need is a vampiric stalker out for our blood exclusively.
>>
>>30477529
Use our wit and guile to avoid the vampires and make our way to the teacher dorm.
>>
>>30477529
Before we do anything, we should create some makeshift weapons.
>>
>>30477644
Seems like a good start, anything around in the room, not liking our chances out in the halls.
>>
>>30477626

"Right, let's get Natalie. Guys, come with me."

>>30477644
"Wait!" says Chris as she goes over to the toolbox. Chris pulls out a hammer, a hobby knife, and some metal rulers, distributing them around. You nod, and despite Samantha and Ann's looks of worry, you grab two broom sticks and give one to Rachel.

Better safe than sorry.

>>30477630
"So can we get over to the Dorm?"
"Probably not Chris, it's pretty far." You lead the group towards the toilet block. The red sun outside is nearly gone, and only the school's lights will light the way. "Also, Sierra said something about some sort of invisible wall out there."
"What?" says Rachel, "You said this was rabies or something! Where did this-"
"Quiet!" you say, pointing to the girls' toilet.

There's something inside, moaning. It's obscured by the sound of tanks filling, but there's definitely something in there.

Will you go in, or block it off? There's some heavy desks to the side.
>>
>>30477716
Brooms up front to stop a possible charge, hammer, knife and rulers on the side, then open the door.
>>
>>30477716
Enter, but carefully. Try to be quiet to not alert potential vampires. If there are any brooms around, using them to keep vampires at a distance should be effective in tighter quarters.
>>
>>30477716
Cautious advance. No need for violence man, we're all friends here.
>>
>>30477749
Yeah, let's go for it. Make sure to enter so that people don't get stuck trying to retreat.
>>
>>30477716
Enter carefully, retaliate ferociously if attacked.
>>
>>30477749
>>30477765
>>30477780
>>30477782

You get Rachel next to you, and lower the brooms ahead. The others are still kind of incredulous, but they follow along.

Carefully, you round the corner into the toilets. The moaning resolves itself, and you feel the fear subside. Lowering your broom you bang on the nearest booth and a startled scream resounds from within.

"AAagh! What the hell?!"
"It's just me Betty, what are you doing in there?"

Betty emerges, wincing. She looks annoyed and startled.
"I just came to get some peace. Anya was bothering me about work and my leg was still sore, so I came upstairs and ducked in here." She sweeps an odd look over the group. "...Why are you all looking so tense?"

You feel your shoulders sag. "Come on, we can talk outside", you say, and lead the group back out, just to see Sierra and co. heading past. Sierra gives you a nod as she rounds the corner ahead to the elevated walkway.

A few moments of explanation later, Betty is giving you a suspicious eyeball.
"Okay, so the juniors have rabies, and you came up here to regroup."
"Yeah."
"Okay, so if Natalie wasn't here, where is she? She didn't come in."

That's a good- Oh no.

You hear a scream from downstairs.

Will you go and save that idiot or cut and run?
>>
>>30477832
...why was she moaning?
Well, whatever.
Hmmm, save or flee...let's check out the situation. Move as a group, but make sure to guard the stairs continuously! Can't let the vampires get behind us.
>>
>>30477832
Idiot rescue party, if it looks like shes fucked, we bounce back up those stairs.
>>
>>30477832
Time for hopeless rescue!
>>
>>30477871
>>30477855
>>30477852
At this rate, we are not going to see the end of the night, much less get a prom date.
>>
>>30477832
Grab Betty, put on the most serious face you can muster, and ask her if she's been bit.

After that rush down to save the idiot with weapons ready.
>>
>>30477852
>>30477855
>>30477871

You swear and pound down the stairs, followed by Rachel, Ann and Chris. Halfway down on the landing, you see a freaking out Natalie bounce up past you, tears in her eyes as she shoves Ann to the floor and runs up. Behind her come four Juniors, all red-eyed and hissing as their fangs shine in the darkness. Rachel screams and falls to her knees as Chris is frozen. You grit your teeth and raise your broom.

There are four Vampires, two on the stairs coming up towards you and two at the bottom.

How will you fight back?

>>30477887
She was just nursing her sore leg, she's fine.
>>
>>30477905
Just retreat while fending them off with brooms, then blockade the stairs.
Also, get someone to check Natalie to make sure she's not bitten!
>>
>>30477905
>How will you fight back?
Retreat and barricade at the best location, avoid being cornered off into some tiny room without another exit at all costs. I'm most certain that spoiled high school girls won't be able to beat their former friends to death with blunt instruments.

Find out if Natalie was bit.
>>
>>30477905
Barricade and check Natalie is a-go!
>>
>>30477905
At least in a slow retreat up stairs, Betty won't fall behind.
>>
>>30477938
>>30477953

"Betty! Grab her and check for bites!" you yell. One of the Juniors jumps at you, and you spear her in the stomach. the Vampire grunts as the wind is knocked out of her and she falls back down the stairs in a crumpled heap. Chris and Ann cry out as the Vampire gets back up on her feet as if nothing happened.

"Back up! Back up!" you yell, grabbing Rachel and dragging her along with you. You round the landing and head back up, followed by the hissing Juniors. Quickly making it up the stairs, you and Samantha roll a heavy desk in front of the stairs, and use your broom to smacked the trio of Vamps that follow back down again.

"Natalie seems fine," says Betty.
"Fine?! Fine?! I just got chased by fucking Vampires! That's not rabies you dumb bitch!" she yells at you, spittle everywhere. You smack another immortal Junior in the head and take a step back.

There's another desk, you could lift it on top of this one with Betty and Chris, but Ann and Samantha would have to fend of the Vampires while you did it. Or you could just push the desk here down and crush the students.

Or just run for it. It looks like Sierra and the gang didn't hear your calls, but if you abandon the main building now then you won't be able to reach the Culture Club on the top floor or find out where Serena is...

What's the plan?
>>
>>30478026
Just push a desk down, they can't be so heavy that it'd actually crush anyone (though falling down stairs would still do damage). Then find Culture Club + Serena.
>>
>>30478026
As much as I would love to play the backstabbing teenage girl to a T, we are a helper, dammit. Get the desk on top.
>>
>>30478026
Quickly explain the obvious that they are indeed some kind of vampires, but that nobody would have believed you had you said so.

Lift the desk on top of the other one.

>Sierra and the gang didn't hear your calls
Where exactly are they right now?
>>
>>30478026
Another desk, they have huge positional advantage and I doubt all 4 vampires can get up simultaneously, so hopefully the two can hold off.
>>
>>30478060
>Just push a desk down, they can't be so heavy that it'd actually crush anyone (though falling down stairs would still do damage).

Um...

>>30478026
>Or you could just push the desk here down and crush the students.

Uh, the GM said that "push the desk down and crush the students" is an option.

I assume that means that if the desk is pushed down... the students will get crushed.

The word "crush" is right there in the update, I dunno how you can just say "No, crushed doesn't mean crushed."
>>
>>30478071
>Where exactly are they right now?

They've crossed over to the club building via the elevated walkway.

"Okay guys, do we push this desk down on them, or just block things off?"

The other girls look at you in silence. Yeah, you didn't think so.
"Okay, Chris, Betty, help me. You others, take my broom and make sure they don't get over." Ann takes your broom awkwardly, her hairtails shaking as she smacks a Vampire back.

You, Chris and Betty grunt as you lift the heavy desk up and stack it slowly on top of the other one, taking care to crush your fingers. Panting with exhaustion, you take a look over the guiderail. The Vampire Juniors push on the desk, but they're too weak individually and don't seem to have the brains to do it together. They get bored and wander off.

"Okay guys," you say. "They're...Vampires. We're trapped in the school with Vampires." You shrug and look at your group, who are looking terrified. Natalie is huddled on the floor, Betty is swearing, Chris looks distant, Rachel is hugging Samantha, and Ann is clutching the broomstick like her life depended on it.

"We need to get to the president," manages Samantha, her hands trembling, "She'll know what to do."
"That's a good idea," says Chris, "but what about the Princess and those Culture Club people? I know they're snobs but we can't leave them here." "Serena went over to the Club building, though," says Natalie, her voice breaking, "I saw her dismiss her maids a little while ago and go past."

So Serena is in the Club building? That just leaves the Teacher's Office on the first floor (phone), the Infirmary and clubrooms on the third floor with the Culture Club group. Or you can leave the building via the walkway.

Where to?
>>
>>30478163
>taking care to crush your fingers

Make our way up to the 3rd floor.

"Let's go up and get the Culture Club girls, we can't just abandon them."

Chris and the others agree, but Natalie just gets up and walks off.

"Hey, where are you going?"
"I'm going to the student council room, anyone else want to join me?"

You're about to say something about sticking together when Samantha jogs after Natalie. She mouths "stay safe" at you, and then the two are gone.

At any rate, your group heads up the stairwell again, as the last bit of light outside disappears and the electric lights flicker on. It's deathly silent but for footsteps and whimpers from Ann and Rachel, and you feel like you've somehow stepped out reality itself into some insane nightmare. You briefly wonder about the Vampires, but your brain is yelling that you need to stay focused right now. The others need someone to keep them together, you can tell they're already at their limits.

After a short trek past empty rooms, you finally reach the Culture Club room, a big old wooden door at the end of the left-hand hallway. With a knock, comes the melodious response of "just a moment!" and the heavy door creaks open.

"Oh, it's you lot. What's up?"
Rebecca stands before you, a tall, curvy, attractive senior with a sense of style and vibrant red hair tied back with a ribbon. Her well-endowed chest bounces slightly as she stretches like a lazy cat, and with a half-assed wave the senior beckons you inside.

Seated at the club's table are two other girls, Mira the introvert bookworm with the black hair, and Casey the obsessive history nut with the glasses.

(cont'd)
>>
>>30478318

"Rebecca, you've got to come with us. There's...there's something loose in the academy." You struggle to make yourself sound credible as your friends cheer you on sliently. "Something's infected the students, they've started going crazy and biting- They're...The Juniors are Vampires."

Rebecca stares at you. Then she just smirks and goes back to her table, and starts making a new cup of tea.
"Get the hell out of here."

"I'm serious!" You desperately look to Casey, who is stifling a giggle. Then you turn to Mira, who seems to have not even noticed.

Chris and the others don't seem to know what to do either, how do you convince them?
>>
>>30478324
Uh...
Tell them to get their asses in gear and join you, some anger should hopefully clear things up. Hopefully.
>>
Well, shit.

Would bowing/kneeling down and literally begging them help get across how serious and committed we are and how important this is?

Or maybe the opposite? Getting angry or ordering?

Shit, if we had the president here with us, they might have listened. Hmm... Could we lie and say that the president herself has told us to start going around and collecting up everybody, and this is *serious* dammit?

Listen, there ARE fucking vampires out there and I'm not leaving you here to get eaten, because then you would also be vampires and come eat ME.

So get up off your asses and follow us, and you'll figure out I'm telling the truth pretty damn quick, and if I am bullshitting you for some incomprehensible reason then all you've lost is five goddamn minutes out of your goddamn day. NOW LETS MOVE GO GO FUCKING GO.
>>
>>30478324
>Chris and the others don't seem to know what to do either, how do you convince them?
Shout something along the lines of
>I'm not fucking around. Either you come with us and help us all get out of this alive, or then you stay here and die.

Then order the others to loot the club room for weapons and the like. If on of the three try to stop you, grab her by the collar and tell her to either fuck off or join in.
>>
So can we set off the fire alarm? It'll get everyone out of the building and confuse the hell out of the vampires.
>>
>>30478446
A bunch of confused people sprinting around at random might just result in an all-you-can-bite buffet.
>>
>>30478446
>It'll get everyone out of the building
And eaten. It's a good idea though. Most schools have automated fire alarm systems that inform the fire department if an alarm occurs, so once we've gathered everyone, we can get them over that way, if we haven't found a phone.

>>
>>30478446

I don't have a good sense for geography so I'm not sure, but... What if that just means that people will start leaving the buildings -- even when they should hole up instead?

>>30478318
>>30478324

GM, can you give us a hint as to whether our character can lie convincingly (such as with "The student president/the teacher told me to get you") or if our character would know if begging or getting mad would be a better option in dealing with these girls?
>>
>>30478398
>>30478422

"Goddamn it, Rebecca, there ARE fucking Vampires out there and I'm not leaving you to get eaten, because then you'd turn into Vampires too!" You're surprised at how high you've raised your voice. "So get up off your asses and follow us, and you'll figure out that I'm telling the truth pretty quick." You breathe in as Rebecca stares. "And if for some strange reason we're making this up, all you're losing is five fucking minutes. Now let's move or else we're just going to take everything useful from the room and you can fucking stay here and get eaten."

Rebecca is silent. Then she takes a step forward and raises a heavy-looking book threateningly.

"We're seniors." she says in a low voice. "This festival is the last time we're going to be together before graduation." You notice Mira twitch. "We've done a long hard days' work on our book stall, and like hell I'm going to let you yappy idiots ruin our time together."

You take a step back.

>>30478486
>>30478441

Chris chimes in hestitantly. "Don't even think about it," she says, "T-The President told us to get you!"

Rebecca hesitates, but you and your friends have already backed out of the room at this point, weapons raised (thought Ann and Rachel don't seem too reliable).

"Hello?"

A voice. You and the Culture girls turn down the corridor. A familiar silhouette is standing there, looking kind of unsteady. She's facing away but you'd recognize that body anywhere- it's Nadia, Anya's assistant on the Comittee.

"Nadia?"
"Oh! Guys..."

(cont'd)
>>
>>30478574
Nadia turns...her neat brunette hair frames soft red pupils on a black eyeball. Fangs protrude from her slack mouth. Her skin is milky white.

Rebecca screams and Rachel cowers behind a shaking Betty as Nadia starts to slowly approach.

"Guys," she says in a soft voice, her face rippling from dazed to the fearsome visage of a wild animal and back, "I'm so hungry. I don't know why but I really really need to eat something." Her face ripples again. "If Anya saw me now she'd...I don't know what she'd doooooooo."

Nadia was a kind, polite girl. She was friendly and helpful and idolized the stronger Anya. You feel as if the very air is pinning you down. This isn't like the Juniors, Nadia seems to be intelligent. What's worse, she's blocking the only way down. As she gets closer, Nadia's face shifts from clear to monstrous faster and faster. If you don't do something, she may attack.

What's your move?
>>
>>30478324
>You struggle to make yourself sound credible
>They're...The Juniors are Vampires."

So how come we had the good sense to not say something this stupid before but now this is what we use?

>>30478581

"Uhh, there's food downstairs!" you manage, keeping a grip on the broom. "There's lots of food down in the canteen, you can take as much as you want, okay Nadia?"

Nadia giggles. It's a strange, discordant sort of noise, like she's trying to laugh and cry at the same time.
"Tabitha, I don't think that'll wooooork. See, I can tell, I need something special." Her eyes start to glaze over and her red pupils expand in size. "I'm after something very...very special." Her tongue extends to an obscene length and drool oozes from it. Fuck.

But then Nadia does something unexpected- (cont'd)
>>
>>30478837
-she whips around and grabs the broom handle, yanking it forwards and out of your hands! With a bestial hiss the Vampire lunges for you, and only Betty's tossing of a steel ruler at her sends Nadia off-course. You yell for Chris to grab your broom as you raise the Hammer to smash Nadia, but the damn monster scuttles across the floor like a bug and suddenly she's behind Betty.

"Shit, look out!" you cry, but it's too late. Nadia sinks her teeth into Betty's veins and pulls her down in a gurgling heap. Chris and Ann try to pull Nadia away, but the Vampire's claws dig in and she won't let go. terrified, Rebecca and Casey run past, followed by Rachel, then Ann, and finally Chris. Everyone's Morale is broken.

Betty's hand stretches towards you and she goes limp. Nadia seems sated as she flops back in a daze, letting off a satisfied burp.

You can stay, or you can run.

To hell with this. You leg it, as fast as you can, away from that dead end, away from that cold corridor, down the stairs, and into a heap on the second floor.

Rebecca and Casey are there, also panting. It looks like Rachel, Ann and Chris aren't though. You get to your feet and pull Rebecca up.

"Where are the others?"
"What?" She's dazed and erratic. You shake her.
"Where are Chris and the others?"
"I don't- I think they went down the hall. I wasn't-"
You let her go. Fuck. Did they go to the Club building? Did they- you hear a crash as the desks on the second floor fall down the stairs.

Someone's knocked down the barricade, but who?

Rebecca pulls Casey to her feet, who is looking almost emotionless now.

Right. Your mind races. The Vampires on the first floor are probably going to come up, and the ones on the third floor are probably going to come down. All you have is two useless bitches and a hammer.

What the hell do you do now?!

Here's a bit of a recap for everyone.

Player character Tabitha is in the middle of the second floor of the Main building. She is with Rebecca and Casey. there are four known Vampires on the first floor. There are two known Vampires on the third floor.

The Main building is connected via a walkway on the second floor to the Club building, where the Disciplinary Committee members, Student Council members, Track Team and Natalie and Samantha are believed to be.

There are two teachers currently on duty in the Teacher Dorms, on the far side of the sports field from the Main building.

There are ten Junior students. Four are confirmed to be Vampires on the first floor, while the remaining six are in the Junior Building, to the west of the Main building.
>>
>>30479107
>The Main building is connected via a walkway on the second floor to the Club building
Club building it is
>>
>>30479107
Take the walkway to the Club building, this one is a lost cause. We've got 6 confirmed vamps (1 of which is super, shame we didn't bash her skull when she was in her post-feed daze, I anticipate her ripping through barricades next time she's hungry) in this building, it's too hot.
>>
>>30479107
Yell out to whoever is behind the barricade. If they sound human, carefully move to join them. Our aim is to get to the clubrooms.
>>
>>30479169
>>30479159
>>30479144

Right, this is a wash. You brush off your clothes and carefully peek around the corner to look over at the collapsed barricade, only to see the four Juniors climb over. Fuck.

You run back towards Rebecca and Casey, yelling for them to go to the walkway. Rebecca doesn't need to be told and dashes off with her lackey at her side. You hear a noise and stop in your tracks as Nadia flops down the stairs in front of you, blood still staining her black school uniform. She's smiling and moves to intercept you as you run past her.

"Come on Tabitha, Betty need to EaaaaaAAAHGGGHH!!"

You fall backwards as a heavy wheel-mounted blackboard flies out of a classroom and pins Nadia painfully against the wall. You look up and see a crying, terrified Rachel, who was hiding in the classroom and pushed the blackboard out to save you. She starts pushing the board even hard on the wailing Nadia, who is all twisted and contorted but not dead at all.

"Die! Die you fucking monster! Give me back my friends! Give me back my-wah!?"

Rachel barely has time to register her surprise as the pale lips of another Vampire lock around her arm from behind. The blackboard topples as Rachel's strength fades, revealing...Mira? She was the one who broke the barricade...?

Rachel's legs give and she collapses, cradling her paling arm in pained gasps. Mira looks at you with a clear mind.

"This way I don't have to graduate."

You stand up and run for the walkway. The cool, still air of the night embraces you as you run over to where Rebecca and Casey are desperatly trying to open the door.

It won't budge, but footsteps are coming closer. If you make enough noise, will help come? Or should you try leaping into a nearby tree instead?
>>
>>30479256

We don't want to risk our friends inside. Shout to not open the door, then leap to the tree.
>>
>>30479256

>>
>>30479256

"Don't open the door!" you call out, but Rebecca just keeps banging on it. You turn and see the door at the other end open and Nadia and Mira appear. The Juniors also appear--they're dragging Rachel with them.

"Listen! We need to jump to the tree!" you try to tell Casey, but she just pushes you away and stands between you and the panicking Rebecca.

Shit. There's no more time.

You get up on the balcony and jump over the railings. Bark splinters and leaves cut and poke you as you grab hold of the bushy thing, and securing your foot on a thick branch stem you lift yourself up.

On the walkway, Mira and Nadia are right up in front of the two remaining Culture Club girls. Mira says something, but Casey moves to block them from her beloved friend Rebecca. She always cared dearly for the club leader.

But then- Rebecca does something you'll never forget. She turns and kicks Casey from behind right into the waiting Vampires, who smile as they drag her down. Casey's look of total betrayal is the last face she makes as a normal human. Rebecca then climbs the balcony and leaps into the tree after you... but then the branch snaps. She falls backwards, her shirt catching on a rivet, leaving her dangling helplessly. You lock eyes for a split second. You give her a look of scorn she'll never be able to live down. Then pale arms drag the selfish bitch up and Nadia smiles at you as they drag her off kicking and screaming into the Main building. Only a trail of blood remains.

Do you try and get back on the walkway, or climb down and look for an entrance?

You carefully climb down the tree, and pull the splinters out of your hands as you take stock of the area.

The courtyard beneath the walkway is normally a shady spot where students come to relax, but right now it just feels like a dark and foreboding place, lit by a a single electric light.

You take a look at the Club building. There's four entrances, at the front back and sides, but the one nearest to you looks locked and you can see desks piled up behind it through the glass.

You might be able to find an open window or something. Looks like you'll have to choose to circle either right or left. Or head elsewhere.
>>
>>30479664
Go to the Junior building.
We have to save them.
>>
>>30479664
Knock on the door, of course.
>>
>>30479664
I have a strong feeling all the entrances are going to be barricaded by now, and any noise we make to get the attention of the people inside might draw vamps just as easily. Junior building is the next closest, right? We could try there, we won't last long solo.

>>30479599
Huh? I never said that. I'm referring to the fact that we could have bashed Nadia's dirty vampire skull in while she was in a post-feed daze, rather than running which instantly splintered our group and left a strong enemy behind us who could (and in fact did) come back for seconds later. We don't have any kind of clear goal or victory condition, so we need to take small victories where we can get them because we have no idea how long we have to last in this undead hellhole. Every kill counts (since every living vamp creates more vamps every time they kill someone, which leads to snowball death scenario very quickly if totally unchecked), doubly so when our opportunities to take out enemies are going to be so few and far between.
>>
>>30479664
>Go check on the Juniors

The Club building seems decently barricaded. Best let them be.
>>
We should kill the juniors in their sleep. It is the kindest course of action.

You think better of drawing more attention to yourself and stuff the hammer in your pocket. It's time for a walk.

The weird symbols you saw in the sky may be gone but their presence is still here. You found an invisible forcefield ringing the buildings as you walked, a weird, spongy wall, totally impenetrable.

As you make your way around the back of the Main building, you notice shadows moving above on the second and third floor. You hope they aren't watching you. The night air is cold, but you're so nervous you start to sweat.

At the halfway point, you take a short break on some stone benches next to the old monument. A stone carving of a maiden, the monument is worn and ancient, and is apparently older than the school. You find yourself relaxing slightly as you look at it...then suddenly adrenaline rushes to your head as the entity sitting on top of the statue comes into your field of view.

"Hello there." The voice is rich, velvety, like the finest chocolate. The white-garbed woman with skin like silk beams down at you, her red, soulless eyes glistening in the light. The pressure is intense. The Vampire's purple hair waves in nonexistent wind. She smiles.

"I've been watching you," she says, "You've managed to do very well against my new recruits." With a heave of her massive bosom the Vampire hops down to the ground in an instant, stretching languidly like a cat on the prowl. "I admire your courage, girl."

The Vampire Lady bows. "I am Zenia, at your service."

What will you ask of this, the apparent ringleader?
>>
>>30479824
That's literally the worst course of action possible, short of intentionally feeding them to vamps. You don't survive long solo, it just ain't done.
>>
>>30479831
Well, it is true. They don't have to spend every waking moment in gut wrenching terror and will never have to become a horrific undead monster.

"W-why are you doing this? What do you want? How can you do this to us?! Give me my friends back!"

Zenia laughs. Her laughter cuts you to the bone and you feel like a child again, trying to stand against your parents. With an exaggerated step, the Vampire Lady moves slowly towards you.

"It's not surprising you don't know. Not even the oldest Human records would cover it." She stops, pointing up to the sky. You follow her finger hesitantly- and then you see it. The moon is ascending, emerging from the clouds. It's blood red. "You know the Full Moon Festival, right? How the celebration is tomorrow but the actuall moonrise is tonight? Well what if I told you that the Festival had a bit more significance than just some local tradition?"

You don't really follow, but Zenia continues with a flutter of her sleeves.
"You see, a long long time ago, the God of the World and the God of Vampires played a little game. The God of the World used his people as material, and the God of Vampires created his own followers from them. Their gameboard was this very land we stand upon now. The rules were simple- The Humans must maintain discipline and ensure that the Vampires do not overpower their forces, and the Vampires must turn all the Humans and break free of their cage, this magical dome." Zenia beckons to the air around you. "The prize was that the winning people would rule the world for the next thousand years."

You have no idea what she's talking about. (cont'd)
>>
>>30480117
"The Gods have forgotten the game, you know, I have no idea if they still even exist. But I, the last surviving Vampire of the ancient ones, have resurrected the game, and the magic that allows me to create a new generation of Vampires! So I thought, I'll hold the game once more, and see if I can revive my race before Midnight." Zenia points up. "This entire area is a closed space. See, instead of time moving normally, time only moves forward when new Vampires are created. So the blood moon will reach Midnight when you're all my new children!"

You just stare.
"So," says Zenia, "Does that answer your question? I'm looking to create my successors using a milennia-old magical rift and your classmates." The elegant Vampire folds her arms and looks smug. "Now, would you like to ask for some concessions? I am the game master and I prefer a my opponent to have a fighting chance. Any requests? I'm all ears."

What do you say?

>>30480134
This is stupid, how can she call it a game when one side knows nothing about it, not just the rules but the fact that there is a game at all? How are humans supposed to 'maintain discipline' when randomly attacked by the supernatural? Why on earth would you go for schoolgirls of all things? You're just a bully!
>>
>>30480134
Well, since you seem to be focused on the game- what are the rules? It isn't fair unless both sides know the rules.

You're going to win anyway, so why not win the right way?

>If she doesn't bother with the rules
You're not a very nice person are you?

A thousand years old, though- and this is the best idea? You'd think that with all this time to prepare you'd have come up with something better to take over the world then a bunch of highschool girls.

I can't say I'm surprised though, you don't look like the commanding type. You look like a bitch who likes to hurt people who are weaker then them.

>I like the photo room idea. Silver nitrates would be our friend if THE POWER OF CHRIST COMPELS YOU doesn't work

Do vampires have flaws?

Can a vampire and a human being work together?

Why? We could have been friends. A thousand years is a long time- humanity has changed for the better. If you had come to us, we could have worked out a way to live together without being hurt.

Now this I can work with.

First request: Prove to me that you aren't lying, and give me some way to validate your answers from hereon in. It's hardly a game if I can't trust the Game Master not to lie to my face.

(Assuming she fulfills this in some satisfactory way)

First Question: What weaknesses do vampires have, and what things are they immune to that normal humans aren't? As of now it's like trying to solve a math problem by trial and error, hardly sporting.

Second Question: How many humans remain alive, and where are they?

Second request: (which will be modified based on her answers to the first question) The human team needs some kind of weapons, it's hardly a fair game when the naturally weaker side is armed only with household tools.

That'll be all, for now.
>>
>>30480267

The fact that it's a game implies that both sides have a win condition, we're just not sure what exactly that is yet. We hardly know anything about vampire biology yet, so annihilation might be it (for all we know they need to feed frequently or else they succumb to torpor), or there might be some other condition we don't know about yet.

We also don't know for sure she's telling the whole truth, the "time has stopped" thing could be a ploy to sap our morale.
>>
Murder anon here
just reminding you that if we cave in the skull of a single junior her plans are ruined.

>>30480197

"This isn't fair at all, we had no idea about any of this! We're just schoolgirls, how can you do this to us? You're j-just a bully!"you manage, gritting your teeth under her powerful gaze.
Zenia just smiles.
"Oh please, I'm telling you now, aren't I? Besides, it wouldn't be exciting without a sudden beginning."

You frown.

>>30480208
"Well," you manage, "What are the rules then? Can you tell me that much?"

The Vampire Lady smiles. "Of course!" she says in a sibilant voice, "First of all, the games master cannot directly interfere with the Humans. I can't attack you or turn you myself, I only bit the first girl and let things go from there. Of course, I can use my mental powers to take control of some of my Vampires should the need arise, but that's very difficult to coordinate so I don't do it often." Zenia thinks for a moment and snaps her fingers. "Oh yes, and you also get a moon." Suddenly, a blue moon appears in the sky, opposite the red one. "It will aim for midnight, but it moves at half speed, so it'll take about eight hours for you to reach midnight." You swallow and look at the twin moons in the sky.

"Naturally, so long as all pieces are Vampires, I can win if there's only one piece left. But if you can reach Midnight before I do, you and your surviving friends will be able to escape. As for the others, they'll still be Vampires, but well- To begin this process I had to use my own life force, so I'll be dead at Midnight either way and they'll be free to choose how to live their lives. Of course, judging by their actions so far I don't think it'll be all sunshine and roses!" Zenia laughs.

>>30480267

You frown. This is a lot to take in.

(cont'd)
>>
>>30480427

"Do I sense mistrust? I guess that's a natural reaction. Well how about this? I'll give you a special hint- Vampires enter into a short-lived bloodlust once they're born, but after that they become much more reasonable and you can talk to them. Also, I'll release the four Junior girls from my direct control, so you can deal with them on their own. It'll be interesting to see if you can talk your way out of this."

You feel a sizzling in the air as something pulses out, and hear several distant screams. Hmm.

"Well okay," you say, lowering your hammer. "In that case, I have two questions in the interests of fairness. One, What weaknesses do Vampires have?"

Zenia shrugs. "They're not superhumanly strong, so you can restrain them. However they can recover from nearly any damage so long as you don't burn them to ashes. they can't survive that. Also, you can immobilize them by impaling them. Since the newborn Vampires don't have much magic, they can't free themselves."

"Right. Well, uh, Second question, how many humans remain alive, and where are they?"
Zenia smiles.
"Oh, but it's not fun if the pieces are all on the table! I can help you with the first part though."

Suddenly a sharp pain stabs your hand. You look at your palm and see numbers appearing. [29/6].
"Twenty-nine Humans remain, with six Vampires about." You rub your hand. "It'll update every time there's a change of two or three or more."

You decide to ask about weapons. "Sure, I'll hide some chests around the School, but it'll be first come first serve."

You sit down. It's seriously a lot to take in, and you can't stop frowning like a sad toad.

Anything else you want to ask?
>>
Idea: Vampires are inheretantly predisposed to infighting.

The more vampires there are, the less blood to go around, the less prey, etc.

A vampires ideal world is one where all other vampires are dead and no one believes in vampires anymore. It might be enough to offer a secure supply of blood to tempt a few over. Sure, you can drink your fill now, and be hungry fifteen minutes later and have to deal with a new hungry vampire as well, or we can keep giving you new blood continuously via donation
>>
>>30480439
How will she be mastering the game? Does she have any way of monitoring people from afar, or does she rely on what the other vampires inform her of.
Finally, ask if holy symbols and silver are any use against vampires
>>
>>30480439
29 versus six. I like them odds.

If we can get enough people together it will be easy enough to pick off the vampires one or two at a time. At the very least we can restrain them until we find out how to deal with them later, need be we can chop off their heads and see about the whole "recover from any damage except by fire" thing
>>
>>30480439
Are the teachers still around? Or did you remove them? And I suppose telephones are right out

>>30480510

The Six means active. So that's the four juniors, Nadia and Mira. Rachel, Betty and Casey are still in the process of turning, and Rebecca got dragged away. By the time you regroup I think the other three will be fully awakened.

Well that was more useful than anticipated, time for round two!

Question: Nadia seemed dazed immediately after feeding. Why did that happen, does it always happen (if not, under what conditions does it happen), and how long does such a state usually last?

Question: How long does it take a person to turn into a vampire after being bitten or killed? Is there any way to stop it, like say promptly cutting off a bitten limb, or is it always fatal?
>>
>>30480602
I recommend we get going while we can. The game is still in play.

Taunt their hunger. Make sure to point out that every turned person means less delicious crimson ambrosia for them. If they were alone, it's nearly 30 people's worth of that beautiful hot red liquid pumping through our veins. Think about how little they'd get if they had to share...
>>
>>30480602

"Uh uh uh," says Zenia, waving her slender finger, "Any more would be telling. I will tell you one more thing though- you should probably get over to the Junior School now. Things will be getting interesting."

And suddenly, Zenia is gone like she was never there. The two moons hang above you like the heterochromatic eyes of some giant demon. You look at your hand.

You get to your unsteady feet and run towards the Junior building.

Similar in size to the main building yet less imposing and with no clubrooms on top, the two-story Junior building looms before you. You run into the entrance hall, which is open and unlocked, and find yourself in a dark hallway. The power is off.

The first floor is the teacher's office, infirmary, and six classrooms. There is a stairwell leading up. The switchboard is probably in the storage room under the stairs.

Where to?
>>
>>30480659
If fire is the vampire achilles heel we should consider hitting up a janitors closet. Lots of cleaning solutions are flammable.

and then there's fun stuff like mixing bleach and ammonia to get mustard gas- let's see a vampire heal from blood blisters in their lungs. Just make sure to have urine soaked clothes to breath through.
>>
>>30480742
Switchboard
>>
>>30480742
>The switchboard is probably in the storage room under the stairs.
Let's do this.
>>
>>30480742
See if the front door locks, or if there is a convenient blocking implement at hand. We know there are vamps somewhere off behind us, don't need one creeping in through the open door if we can help it.

Then School Knowledge: where would the Juniors be staying. Classrooms probably?

If yes, go there. If no, go to where our logic tells us they would be.

>>30480774
>>30480784
Switchboard could actually be a bad idea right off the bat, if a bunch of lights come on it may serve as a "Look, delicious humans!" advertisement.
>>
>>30480805
>>30480805
There's only 7 of them so far, as far as we know they're all in the same place
>>
>>30480805
Still, being able to see is a BIG advantage
>>
>>30480819
Yes, but we don't need them to aggro on us while we're in an unsecured building. As of now they're derping around back in the main building as far as we know, no need to give away our position for little benefit.
>>
>>30480830
Then find a flashlight, there is sure to be one somewhere, probably in the Teacher's office and/or infirmary in case of blackouts.
>>
>>30480862
But it'll also help any other humans in the area.

Light, as far as we know, is on our side. Vampires have heightened perception in the darkness
>>
>>30480819

Are you sure? While Zenia was talking to you one could have headed over.

Just saying.
>>
>>30480884
And we'll turn the lights on once we've got some degree of certainty they aren't going to come bursting in through the currently unblocked doors and windows. For the moment subtlety is our friend, because the Juniors don't know the situation and will only be confused and useless with or without lights right now.
>>
So, switchboard or elsewhere?
>>
>>30480997
Teacher room, scrounge for flashlight or other lighting implement so we aren't fumbling in the dark.

Then students.
>>
>>30480997
>>30481012
That sounds like a good compromise.

As a note to other players, the fact that she outright refused to answer >>30480602 is somewhat telling. That says that at least one of those questions would have given us an advantage, so in the unfortunate event either becomes relevant let's keep them in mind. Unless she's already experienced in the "I refuse" Q&A mindgame tactic, that would be unfortunate in the extreme.
>>
>>30481012
Sure, go with this.
>>
>>30481079
>>30481012

You initially think of trying to get the lights on, but decide it probably isn't safe yet.

Careful to not trip over anything, you make your way to the Teachers' Office in the moonlit gloom. Slowly opening the door to not make any noise, you walk past piles of paperwork and books to see a small emergency kit. Inside is a flashlight, as well as some other first aid supplies, which you decide to take with you as a shoulder-strap. Also, you notice a phone.

Picking it up, you aren't surprised to find it's dead.

You now have a flashlight!

Where to next?
>>
>>30481129
Classrooms, try to find the students. Numbers are still on our side but we need to fine them and bring them up to speed for that to matter.
>>

You decide to go and check the classrooms.

Returning to the first floor corridor, you sweep up slowly, careful not to send your torchlight out a window.

"Ah!"
Your torch finally settles on something as you reach the second-last room. Blinking in the darkness and clutching a wooden stake as she crouches on the floor is Celia, one of the junior girls. She's got a bit of a reputation for being smug, but she doesn't seem that way right now.

"Tabby? What are you- Ugh, turn off that flashlight."
You switch it off and help her up. Celia is a mess, with her hair wild and her uniform dirty.
You give her a once-over, but she seems not to have been bitten. You ask her what happened.
"I don't know," she says, biting her lip. "One minute we were heading to see Alessa and Kate and the next those two were chasing after us like rabid dogs away from the Main Building. They looked like..well, Vampires. Then suddenly they peeled off and went back, Amy said we should take cover in the Junior classrooms. I fell in the dirt, but anyway I said I'd stand guard down here in case anyone showed up. She rubs her head. "I guess I fell asleep."

Celia points her wooden stake upwards.
"The others are up trying to get some rest on the second floor if you want to go talk to them."

She seems to be taking this all rather well. What now?

"Well, yeah. They're Vampires, Celia. We're caught in some sort of sadistic game."
"Really."
"Um, yes." You pause. "You're not really reacting how I thought you would."
Celia just gives you a bemused look.
"It's okay, Tabby, I know I'm dreaming. I'll play along, alright."
Okaaay.

You tell Celia to follow you, and carefully head back out towards the second floor. It's odd, and Celia notices too: Neither of you can hear much noise coming from above. Maybe they moved?

You climb up the stairwell, and take a step out into the second floor corridor. It's dark, and Celia, despite her previous claims, clings to you in a frightened way. You hold her hand gently and lead the younger girl along to the classroom she points out.

The door is open...and you see something horrible.

Desks and chairs are torn apart and tossed about, creating a circle of scrap and destruction. Beyond the twisted metal is a naked, writhing pile of four bruised and weak girls, each of them gurgling and breathing hard as their limbs slowly turn white. Clothes are torn and tossed about as the perpetrator sits upon her thrown of naked, living flesh. It's Betty.

You step in, locking eyes with your former friend. With a smile, your once-friendly and cheerful companion beckons you closer.
"Hi Tabby. As you can see I got a bit hungry." She rubs her exposed, glowing stomach beneath her torn uniform. "These little girls are so scrawny but they filled me up, and look!"
(cont'd)
>>
>>30481622
She points over he shoulder to the blackboard. Hanging from it, battered and beaten but very much alive is Amy, the Junior student representative. A strong and cheerful leader, Amy is hanging from the projector hook, bound by the tattered remnants of her own uniform.
"I'm saving the best for last, Tabby."
Celia's hand clenches yours, and you feel ill to the depths of your stomach. Is this what Vampires are like?

You have a choice. You can try and fight Betty here to save Amy, or flee. The Juniors haven't turned yet, so you still have numbers over Betty. However if the fight takes too long you may get jumped.

What's your move?

>>30481639

Lets fight, we've got 8 hours to go and every survivor counts. Count your blessings when we get presented with a chance to outnumber them, we're going to get less and less opportunities as the night goes on.
>>
>>30481639
Now's the best time. Kill.
>>
>>30481639
Save Amy, we haven't found any weapons yet.
>>
>>30481639
Fight.

Celia has a wooden stake, we can go for a heartstab then grab Amy and get the hell out of dodge. We still don't have fire or real weapons or the kill, but we can at least get a tactical victory out of this.

flashlights tend to be quite sturdy. You could really knock someone for a loop by hitting them over the head with one. Skull smash that bitch.
>>
>>30481861
Depends on the type. Some are legitimate blunt-force homicide devices, some are made of flimsy plastic.

Anyway we've still got our no-so-trusty hammer.
>>
>>30481639
Grab Celia's stake, stab that bitch
Then break tables, use that wood to impale the girls turning into vampires, then RUN THE FUCK AWAY
>>
>>30481639
Fight, throw at hard object (a rock?) at her head.
>>
>>30481903
No, don't run away. Secure the vamps first

There's no longer any point avoiding this. You have to fight her.

"Celia, grab Amy when you can and get out!"
You shine your flashlight in Betty's face which temporarily blinds her, then run forwards and swing your hammer. The blow catches the shapely Vampire in the stomach, and she tumbles backwards off of the wretched girls she had claimed. You use the momentup and grab a broken steel chair-frame to smash her with.

However, Betty recovers more quickly than you can fathom and is already upon you, her teeth glinting in the night. You drop your flashlight as she pushes you down. You try to kick her bulk off with your legs but Betty just grins, her red eyes glowing.

Is this it?

Then suddenly Betty howls in pain! Celia rams the wooden stake into her side, tears in her eyes. You use the confusion to grab your flashlight again and smash Betty in the face with it, leaving her bruised and bloody as she rolls off. Celia pulls you back as she snaps her stake and leaves half of it in Betty's side.

You swear as Betty gets to her feet again, face already healing. Attempting to grab the chair-frame again, you swing the clump of jagged metal in an upper cut, which knocks Betty back towards a pile of broken desks. There's a sickening pulply noise as a chair-leg goes right through her heart. Betty writes in pain, blackened blood oozing. She's trapped for now, and Celia goes to help Amy down.

You walk up to your former friend, and the red glow fades from her eyes. She looks at you in a moment of recognition, and then falls unconcious. You doubt she's dead, but at least she's out of comission.

"Hurry up Tabby! We have to go! They're waking up!"

You turn to see Celia supporting Amy as the pair make their way to the door. On the ground the remaining four Juniors begin to stir.

You don't have any choice after that fight, you need to run now and get the others to safety, especially since you can see red glowing eyes starting to look up at you...

----

A few minutes later and you and the two surviving Junior girls make it back to the statue outside the building. You lie Amy down once you're sure the coast is clear, and try to bandage her up as best you can while Celia just stares into the darkness.

It's been an awful night so far, and as you look at your hand and see [24/11], you just know things are going to get worse.

To Be Continued

(Okay, I'm off to bed, I'll try and continue this later in the week. Night guys.)

Pretty damn good first thread OP.

Consider getting a twitter account for updates, it's an easy and reliable way to make sure people don't miss updates about when you're running. Posting it in QTG is unreliable since you can never be sure if people who care will actually see it.

Nice thread.
Shittingpantsinfear/10.
>>
>>30482064

It depends how long this goes, really. I already have two twitters, so I'll need another email address.
>>
>>30482006
Alright, thanks. I liked it.

Bad form to suggest the chance of lewd to that guy in QTG earlier though, unless you get off on gore I guess.
>>
>>30482139

Well we're not done. There's plenty of opportunities for that sort of thing as the more reasonable Vampires show up.
>>
Anyway goodnight. Watch out for vampires

Well that's an arousing and terrifying thought. Mostly terrifying.

Anyway, thanks for running!

Seductive and flirty vampires are alright so long as they're still creepy and nobody wants to take them up on it.
