>Rules: http://pastebin.com/XfJFjs52

The Black Unicorn shot forward with the speed of a railgun round, crossing the distance between it and the Red Unicorn in an instant. It lashed out with its massive claw and nearly gouged out the chest of Banagher’s mobile suit, only stopped by the thin shield the Newtype pilot had thrown up in front of the strike.

Intense vibrating blades sliced the shield into ribbons, buying the Red Unicorn enough time to fire its thrusters and begin to fly backwards as you got an opening to fire the Crusader’s SEM Rifle. However the Black Unicorn seemed to sense your intention to attack and threw out its claw, crushing the barrel of the Crusader’s SEM rifle and sending your suit into a violent spin with a powerful backhand swipe.

“Ugh, I hate spinning, reminds me of the time I got stuck on that Marry Go Round at the Zarth Fair…” You think to yourself in the midst of this battle as you fire the Crusaders thursters and vierners, managing to level yourself out after a few precision burns.

>(Continued)
>>
>>30413981
By the time you re-orient the Crusader the Red and Black Unicorns are already in the distance dukeing it out. You can see the brilliant flashes of their powerful beam weapons and the intense luminescent slashes of their beam sabers lighting up the blackness of space. Its obvious Banagher is holding nothing back against the pilot of the Black Unicorn, who fights with a psychotic rage that reminds you a little too much of Rena after she was brainwashed by the Vagans.

Looking around you fail to see Mouar or Jerid nearby, instead spotting Yazan and Kacricon attacking the Garencieres. The two Geara Zulu’s supporting Marida are dead, with Yazan squaring off against her and Kacricon going after the ship.

Just as you spot this, you hear Daiki shout at you over the radio:

“Jake! Two mobile suits are attacking the ship! Me, Koketsu, and Lhuga are holding them off, but we need assistance!”

Three important clashes, three people who need help. Who will you go to assist Jake?

>[A] Go help Daiki and the Treasure Star! It’s your only way home!

>[B] Marida is dead if you don’t help her! Support the Garencieres!

>[C] Banagher needs assistance with the Black Unicorn or he’ll be slain!

>[A] Go help Daiki and the Treasure Star! It’s your only way home!
Sorry, Marida. I figure Banagher will activate Destroy mode now that the operating system is repaired and be fine, but you're going to be in trouble. But your Queen is on the Treasure Star, and we have some pretty serious need for it, too. It takes priority.

I wish you hadn't destroyed our SEM Rifle in a cutscene, though. Now we're down to a single inaccurate bazooka and some grenades for ranged combat. Guess we'll have to sword duel Jerid and Mouar.
>>
>>30414006
> [A] Go help Daiki and the Treasure Star! It’s your only way home!
We need to help those guys first. Anyway, can Banagher move? If so, he should try to move through Kacricon and Yazan's formation. Ridhe will follow him, and cause chaos. It should probably buy the Garencieres crew some time.

> Rena after she was brainwashed by the Vagans
You mean Mellis?
>>
>>30414108
We have some grenades left. And considering how close we are to the TS, I guess its AGE builder could pop out a new gun or something.
>>
>>30414181
I mentioned the grenades. Good call on the AGE Builder pumping out a new weapon real quick, though. It doesn't even need to do that, really, I'm sure we have some spare DODS Rifles lying around. We just have to last long enough to get it sent out. On the plus side, we should be an absolute monster in close combat. We've yet to do a proper sword duel against an enemy, generally doing one strike kills with the Excalibuster II. I'm not actually sure it can be blocked, really. It's an enormous vibroblade with anti-beam coating and integral rocket boosters, swung by a suit so strong it can rip other suits apart with its bare hands. Trying to block this thing with a low mass blade like the a beam saber should see it knocked right out of your hands. Especially with the claw-type manipulators the Byarlants use.
>>
>>30414226
If nothing else, we can at least hope for a trick shield to get made. Probably not something like the monster Dirk used, but the flashbang system with extra grenades would be a nice thing to have. The Chimera Mk II probably won't happen.

And yeah, we have some basic guns the Neo Zeon guys delivered. We should drop the bazooka to someone who can actually use it - I guess Banagher, if he comes close enough to grab it.

As for the defense operation, we have Lhuga on the not-Heavyarms Genoace, Kotetsu in her G-Exes, and Daiki in the Phoenix. Hopefully he'll do better with it than Yurika did.

>[A] Go help Daiki and the Treasure Star! It’s your only way home! (x2)

As much danger as Marida is in you need to save the Queen and your only way home! Heading back towards the Treasure Star, you see Banagher drawing his battle towards the Garencieres; you doubt he’ll leave the Titans to sink the ship.

Upon reaching the ship you immediately see things are pretty bad, Mouar is on the deck of the ship, dukeing it out with Lhuga in her G-Exes Custom and Koketsu in his ridiculously armed Genoace Custom, while Daiki is clashing with Jerid underneath the ship in his AGE-1 Phoenix.

Lhuga and Koketsu seem to be handling themselves, but Daiki seems to be struggling against Jerid alone. Your SEM Rifle was destroyed, but you still have a full 360mm Bazooka on the Crusader’s shoulder as well as 2 Anti-Beam Chaff and 2 Flash Grenades on the Crusader’s hips. You also have a beam saber and the Excalibuster Mk. II on the Crusader’s back.

You could wait to have Sirius send you out a rifle, or activate the AGE Builder on board to try and whip up a generated weapon from the mishmash of data you've probably collected.

>What do you wish to do Jake?
>>
>>30414368
Hey, Yurika did just fine with the AGE-1 Phoenix. It was the AGE-2 Phoenix that failed her. And even then it took a massive force of enemy suits to overpower her.

As for Chimera, we certainly can't build one right now, but I would like to have one if we have time between our next jump and the battle that will inevitably follow after it. Especially if I've been reading Crosswire's hints right. I'm not going to say any details about my guess because I might be grasping at straws, but if I'm right we're going to be in some serious shit within the next one or two jumps.
>>
>>30414434
No time for rearming. Much as I'd like to crush Jerid's spirit by taking out Mouar, I don't think we have the time for it. Daiki needs our help more than Lhuga and Kotetsu. Hit Jerid with a flash grenade then start Excalibusting.
>>
>>30414434
Alright, quick goo grenade at Moaur and pass the bazooka to Lhuga. He's the ranged weapons master around here. Then lets go help Daiki with a dynamic entry.
As for the AGE builder, I say we need a shield with some tricks, and a HyDODS. The Apparatus is a beast at range, just as we're a beast at CQC.

>>30414462
Yeah. Yurika and Akito did good. The battle for Big Ring was a goddamn bloodbath.
Part of me wonders if the death toll was truly that big, though. If what we gathered from Grodek was true, a good part of the Woolf team could've been swept away along with some other members of Leviathan who were proving to be troublesome for their coup. Grodek gets eliminated, Flit's kids removed one way or another, and Flit joins Leviathan in their taking over Earth Sphere. They take out the loyalists, the other part gets in power.
>>
Rolled 2 - 2

>>30414682
(You have no goo Grenades, and passing your Bazooka to Lhuga would be difficult with Moaur dueling her and Koketsu, besides Koketsu is armed to the teeth as it is and Lhuga's more of a melee girl)

>>30414551
Realizing you have limited time, you send to flash bang and go into melee.

"Daiki! Look away!" You shout, pulling off the two flashbangs from the Crusader's hip and lobbing them through space at Jerid.

You shield the Crusader's optics with one arm and pull the Mk.II off it's back, flying in as Jerid turns his Apparatus's head just in time to see the grenades you throw spinning towards him.

They explode in to brilliantly blinding orbs, totally blinding Jerid and possibly fucking up the optics of his mobile suit. He raises the Apparatus's arms and begins firing wildly with it's arm guns and the mega particle cannons on it's shoulders.

However Jerid doesn't have a chance of hitting you with blind-fire. Grasping the Mk.II with two hands you fly in, sword held high, and swing to strike!

It does seem suspiciously convenient, yes. We might be reading too much into it, but for the mutinous faction to get rid of the current leader and get one far less likely to oppose them instated is about the best scenario they could have. It wouldn't be inconceivable for them to be responsible for what happened to Yurika or letting Yurin die(Arisa was probably a genuine casualty, though. Dique's not that important that manipulating him is a priority).

Also, I fully admit it's just wishful thinking, but I want Jake to start thinking of the idea that deaths where you don't find the body are probably faked. Because damn it, Rysis, what the fuck are you doing with Scarlet? How is her surviving something that would tip Arthur off? Is it the cybernetics facility you took her to? If it is, why were you offering to get her augmentations even before it became a matter of life and death? And do you think after all you've refused to talk about the issue of Arthur that Scarlet is going to accept your argument? Because unless you have a damn good explanation she's just going to leave for home. She's got things she needs done.

Damn you, Crosswire, why must you leave cliffhangers? It's great from a dramatic perspective but leaves me far too engaged. Curse you for taking a sub-par entry into the Gundam franchise and spinning it into a genuinely intriguing narrative!

Arisa could've been caught in the crossfire, actually. She decides to help Yurika, and gets captured alongside her.

As for Scarlet, she'll probably run away in the restored Gawain the first chance she gets. Rysis' story doesn't really make any sense - if Arthur was going after Jake, he'd done so sooner, instead of allowing him, Rysis and who knows whom else to wander around and mess with his plans. Hell, even Uther was around long enough for people such as Obright to know about him and his stories about how he's the original Gundam maker. And yeah, who are the people who have the tech to bring Scarlet back? How does she know about them, and why haven't they been shut down if Arthur's really all-knowing as Rysis believes?

Wishful thinking, but I wouldn't be surprised if Scarlet drops in during Leviathan's attempt to capture Jake and save the day. Gen-3 starts us off with being Bisidian (renamed Akdamut) and trying to fight off the Vagans and Leviathan at the same time.
>>
>>30415268
Also, even if Rysis is completely right in her assumptions, Dirk's already ruined things. He started looking into Arthur's past, and Zeheart definitely implied it was Arthur who sent him after Dirk. Hell, he talked to Arthur's father and then stole his corpse after he died. Sorry, Rysis, but the plan's done for. We've already attracted Arthur's attention far too strongly.
>>
>>30415328
Or the thing that poses as Arthur. Rysis said how he's in some machine, and we found out that it was possible to make an AI as a copy of someone's brain. They did it for Edol Inertia, and that thing became SID. For all we know, the same thing was repeated on Arthur and that thing Rysis and Zeheart met was an AI based on him.

And the entire thing with Uther is weird. According to him, nobody listened to him whenever he spoke about the old war. Yet Obright knew about him (and he also survived Big Ring - maybe he's the other Leviathan agent that was supposed to approach us that Grodek told us about?). And Uther was expecting someone else instead of Dirk to come knocking on his door, so he clearly wasn't as alone as he presented himself to be.

Uther's up and running on Big Ring, working for Leviathan.

>JAKE SUCCEEDS

Jerid let out a shout as he ripped his hands from the controls and covered his eyes. For a few moments he saw nothing but a giant sunspot in his vision, but just as it began to disappear from his eyes he wished it hadn't as he saw the 'bearded' Gundam swing it's massive sword at him.

Slashing the Apparatus with a rocket powered swing of the Excalibuster, Jake sliced the torso of the Apparatus off it's lower body in a ridiculously clean cut. Hydraulic fluid and fuel were released into space, but the suit suit didn't explode.

"Damn it my suit..." Jerid cursed over his barely functioning radio.

"Jerid!" Marou yelled before being grabbed and smashed into the deck by Koketsu's Genoace.

Lhuga stuffed a DODS Rifle barrel into the back of her enemies Custom Byarlant.

"Move and your dead" Lhuga threatened.

"Titan forces! We have captured your Commander and one of your Comrades! Retreat immediately and they will not be-"

"SHIT!" Captain Sirius interrupts your demand for the Titan's retreat as Ma-G chimes in.

"Irregular energy build up in Grand Wing System"

"Guys you better get inside I think it's going to..."

Suddenly the radio goes to static and you find yourself in the strange polychrome tunnel created by the Grand Wing system. You, Jerid, and Daiki float by the Treasure Star, being dragged down the tunnel along with it until suddenly-

Sky.

You feel the abusive hands of gravity yank you down as you and everyone else begin to plummet from the sky at frightening speeds.

You're very high up, but with the speed you're falling at you'll reach the ground very shortly and by that time you NEED to slow yourself down for a safe landing. >Advanced Success!

Breaking through the cloud cover, you see the land below you is heavily forested and there is a mountain nearby. Steering the Crusader towards the mountain, you point it's feet downward and blast the thrusters at full power.

Brilliant blue flames blast out of the Crusaders back as it continues to drop, it's speed gradually slowing as it approaches the slopes below.

"Engines Overheating." Ma G states

"I know! Keep them firing!" You grit your teeth and continue to throttle the thrusters

"Warning. Engine Temperature Critical" Ma G says almost immediately after that.

"Come on Crusader! You've been through worse! Just hold on a little bit longer..."

"Engine breach and detonation Immigrant" Ma-G says, her usual monotone sounding rather alarmed.

Seconds from hitting the side of the mountain you cut the thrusters, and let the Crusader grind up against it as it begins to slide violently down the jagged slope.

You're tossed, turned, and jerked around all while trying to stop the Crusader from going into a spin. It seems like you're falling for an eternity and just as you're on the verge of filling your helmet with lunch, the Crusader collides with an enclave of trees and eventually comes to a gradual stop.

Popping the cockpit and peeling of your helmet, you sit in your seat, panting, gasping, and generally being thankful for your survival. Ma-G quickly breaks this brief moment of rest with a diagnostic report.

"AGE-X still functional. Main thruster units have been burned out, leg servos are damaged and may give out under strain outside of normal operational limits. Also the 360mm Bazooka seems to have been torn off in the landing."

Grasping the controls you get the Crusader back to it's feet, enjoying the fresh air from the open cockpit door.

"Can you make contact with the Treasure Star?" You ask, as you do some manual system checks.

"I'm afraid there is heavy radio interference in the area from an unnatural means..."

"More weird particles?" You ask.

"I am unsure of this time, however I do not detect the particles we encountered before. It appears this interference is the side effect of some kind of large scale jamming device."

"Side effect?"

"The free movement of neutrons is being interfered with over a large area. The Crusader's Fusion reactor will not be effected by this however." Ma G informs you.

"Well that's good to know. Any idea where we are?" You ask, glancing around.

"Possibilities suggest Earth. Climate, Fauna, and Geography suggest we are somewhere in what was once known as 'North America' though due to this being an alternate dimension we could be just about anywhere."

"Yeah I don't really want to think about where we could be..." You close the cockpit door at that thought and begin to search for the Treasure Star, walking the no sluggish Crusader through the heavily forested area and monitoring local radio signals...

>Critical Failure

You and Ma-G guess that the Treasure Star is at a pretty high altitude, probably above the cloud cover considering where you came from. It'll take a while for it to safely drop down, but you still think it's a good idea to look around the area.

As you hope Daiki saved Jerid from falling to his death you notice how oddly empty the area is. You spot a road here and there, but no houses or any heavy signs of anyone going through the forest. The large, looming mountain behind you seems rather important but you don't think anything of it till Ma-G speaks.

"Three unidentified mobile suits approaching at high speed."

You turn the Crusader around as quickly as you can with it's banged up legs, but you soon find yourself surrounded by three hulking, cycloptic suits touting large rifles.

A female voice comes over the radio.

"This Hilda Harken of the Terminal Peace Keeping Corp. You are in possession of an armed mobile suit. Exit your suit immediately for punishment for face on site execution."

Despite threatening you, they don't have their rifles pointed at you. The Excalibuster is too damn heavy to use under gravity with your busted legs, however the Crusaders' upgraded arms could do some serious damage if you could get close enough.

You still have two anti-beam chaff grenades you could use for cover and to disable their weapons...

What do you wish to do?

We could take them in a fight if the Crusader was fully intact, but we can't fight them three-to-one while this damaged.

"My apologies. I did not realize I was trespassing. My ship has been damaged and I had to make an emergency landing in my suit. Let me shut down my reactor and I'll exit."

"Reactor!?!" All three mobile suits raise their rifles at you upon the mention of a reactor.

"What the hell is a none-Terminal MS doing with a reactor? I'm not detecting an N-Jammer Canceler! Hilda does that mean..."

"Let's get this thing back to base for Analysis. Mars, call ahead and tell them to ready the execution chamber. It's probably been months since we've had anyone give themselves up for proper punishment."

Two of the hefty Cycloptic suits grab the Crusader's arms and begin to drag it along with them back towards the mountain you recently skidded down. One of the suits follows behind with a beam rifle drawn.

It's slow going, apparently these suits rely heavily on a kind of hover craft system built into their legs. They weren't made to be hauling other suits around...

"Ma-G, can you connect with the systems of the base these guys are taking us into?" You ask as a large door reveals itself in the mountain side and you're dragged underground by the skirted suits.

"I am now connecting. The security and power systems of this base appear to be heavily computerized."

"Good. These guys are probably going to take me out of the suit, I want you to lock the Crusader up tight and do your best to help me out if they do really intend to kill me."

"Affirmative."

The Crusader is dragged into a large hanger were it's put into a maintenance scaffolding and locked down.

Several armed men and a technician ride up to the cockpit of your suit and since you don't want to have the Crusader's door blown off, you open it up and step out. The door closes behind you and you're taken by the guards. As the Technician begins to try to open your suit, you're taken across the hanger and through a maze of hallways. The complex is HUGE and holds a metric ton of military hardware.

Besides, we're still in our EF Captain uniform - we should seem pretty much out of place. Not to mention that we fell from the sky in an unknown and damaged Gundam unit.

True enough. I just figured since they were panicking after seeing that his suit had a reactor without an N-Jammer Canceller than Jake could infer it was something important. And this guy's going to shoot us anyway, we might as well try to pique his interest.

Good catch on the uniform thing, though. It's clearly not an EA or ZAFT uniform, and these guys are still going to execute us without questioning? I think it might be a good idea if you hold off on killing me, I'm sure your superiors have a lot of questions for me..." you say, hoping to peek the man's interest.

The interrogator looks over you with cold, detached eyes, specifically looking over your Captain's uniform.

"You're ether a natural who's developed some kind of mental illness, a disillusion coordinator, or an affiliate of the Militia we aren't aware of. Very well, I'll contact my superiors and inform them of your presence."

The man leaves and guards come back into the room, uncuff you from the chair, and take you into the hall.

You're placed into a cell and left alone. It's a very well built cell, it even has a camera inside of it, which means Ma-G knows where you are. If you wish to escape now might be a plan, since the camera seems to have an audio receiver built into it, probably to pick up confessions or something.

What do you wish to do Jake?
>>
>>30418557
Before we try to escape, I'd like to test something. Let's try to talk to our observers through the audio receiver, see if they can talk back. Having Ma G let us out would be a lot easier if she can also give us directions to an armory or back to the hangar.
>>
>>30418634
"Hey? Is anyone listening? If you are I'd like to talk to you about something." You speak up to the camera hoping it has a speaker built into is as well.

"I'm afraid the security systems are having a technical malfunction at this time. You have been directed to an automated help program." Ma G says in what you assume is some kind of a joke.
>>
>>30418557
Alright, lets test this out. MaG, if you can hear us, move the camera around. And if she can communicate with us.

We need an escape plan in case their superiors decide to screw with us. And if they do, I want the self-destruct sequence of this entire base activated. We'll use it as a bargaining chip. That first.

In the meantime, see if MaG can cause enough of a ruckus around the base to thin out the guards, mess with their schedules, lock them in their rooms, mess with communication, turn down their suits, all that. If we do break out, we want as little people around us as possible.

That would be bad. The EA was infatuated with cyborg super-pilots. If Dirk was here Terminal would kill him on sight.

"I love you too" You say with a chuckle upon hearing Ma-G's voice.

"Alright before we get down to the escape plan can you tell me where we are and who the hell these people are?"

"They are an organization known as Terminal. 3 years ago during the midst of the 'Second Bloody Valentine War' Terminal used the chaos and destruction caused by the two warring factions to take control of the planet to ensure complete and absolute peace. They immediately banned the production, training, and ownership of all weapons to ensure no one would break the peace they put in place. They then proceeded to separate people into different groups based on their genes. People born without genetic modification are known as 'Naturals' and are seen as inferior to those who were born with modified genes who are known as 'Coordinators'"

"Well we can both agree the philosophical and scientific reasoning behind that is fucking stupid" You state, a little disappointed you didn't run into tyrants who based the worth of a person based on how fast they could grow their hair.

"Agreed. You are currently in their main HQ where they monitor and run their world wide operations. I am in control of their security and power systems as well as various appliances around the base, however their weapon systems and the reactor controls are on a separate isolated system"

"Alright, do you think you could cause some shit to go down and point me in the direction of the hanger?"

"Yes I believe I have a significant chance of clearing a path to the hanger for you. However I do not have the means to open your cell door since it itself is not automated." Ma-G states.

"Aw shit. I REALLY have to stop basing my idea of security systems and cells off of the Diva's. Well any ideas on how I might be able to get out?"

"I have several. The most effective one is the people trying to infiltrate the base"

"Infiltrate the base? I assume they're not friends of Terminal?"

"They most likely belong to a resistance group known as the Militia. If I hadn't taken over the security systems Terminal would have detected their presence a while ago. I believe I can assist them in entering the base and lead them to your location. From what I can gather they intend to steal weapons and mobile suits in a raid, they have some kind of cloaked transport nearby that Terminal's sensors couldn't pick up until I adjusted them."

Well Jake? Do you wish to help Militia enter the base and get out with them?
>>
>>30419353
By all means.
>>
>>30419353
Totally. Let's help these hopefully not jackasses raid this group of massive jackasses.
>>
>>30419353
Yeah, sure. Can we get a line with them? We could coordinate (no pun intended) our escape and infiltration plans.
>>
>>30419353
Sure thing. We need help getting out of here, and in repairing the Crusader. And maybe we can give them some of our tech so they have a leg up. Having the AGE Builder replicate itself once we get back in touch with the Treasure Star would be a nice advantage. They'll need it to take on Jesus Yamato.

As long as we get aboard the TS in one piece and get everyone back on the ship, sure.

We're helping them take out the Terminal HQ at the moment, so we should at least ask for some materials and technical help in return.

"Ma-G do you know where the Treasure Star is?" You ask quickly.

"Terminal's sensors have not picked it up, but I believe it is still in the general area still at a high altitude. I should be able to locate if we can reach such an altitude."

"Alright this should work then. Do you think you can patch a line through to them somehow?"

"They are currently trying to enter through an underground maintenance tunnel, there is a speaker in the keypad. Just speak into the camera and I'll relay it to that..."

"Hey, to the people listening to this, I'd really appreciate it if you came and rescued me."

"Who is this?" A male voice replies.

"My name is Jack Crocker, I'm currently being held prisoner by this Terminal group. Before you ask I'm not from around here and I have control of their security and power systems."

"This is Lieutenant Sai Argyle of the World Autonomous Resistance Militia. I'm having a hard time believing what you're saying..."

"To be honest I don't blame you. However I'm locked in my cell and sadly the people here aren't stupid enough to connect their doors to the power grid. So let's make a deal. I fuck with their systems and draw the soldiers to the other side of the base, you come in and break me out, then we all go to the hanger, I can grab my suit, you can grab the mobile suits you came here to steal, and we can all leave the base and ride away on the transport you have waiting nearby under cloak. I have a ship hanging around at a high altitude not far from here, if you rescue me I can hook you up with some stuff..."

There is silence for several minutes until you get a reply.

"This is ether a very elaborate trap or my good karma is finally starting to pay off. Alright it's a deal can you open this door for us?"

"No yet, just sit tight and let my friend work her magic..."

>>
>>30419859
Several minutes later after starting several fires, cutting off power to a dozen or so areas, closing off a metric ton of blast doors, causing several water and gas leaks, and giving a dozen false intruder alarms on the other side of the base, Ma-G opens the door to the maintenance tunnel and your cell is busted open by ten ragged individuals with guns.

>>30419962
>"You guys sure know how to give a WARM welcome guys"

After swearing you hear Carlos voice you quickly glance over the group. They're all quite young, with the oldest still being at least 20 years younger then you are, sporting a blond mullet and glasses.

"Are you Mr. Crocker? I'm Sai, where's your friend?" He looks around the cell seeing that you're alone.

"She's in my mobile suit. It's a long story, follow me I've been told the directions to the hanger."

You exit the hanger and being to sprint down the hall, the young gun touting resistance members following close behind.

Thanks to Ma-G's wonders with fucking things up, you make it to the hanger. The resistance group splits up immediately, heading for various mobile suits with no resistance save for a few frightened technicians.

You ride the lift to the Cursader's cockpit and find the technician trying to cut through the door with a welding torch. Coming up from behind you yank off his welding mask and slam his head into the door.

"Don't work on stuff above your skill level kid." You say before boarding the suit.

Powering up the suit you bust it out of the restraints holding it and make your way to the door, followed by the resistance members in the fresh hijacked Terminal mobile suits. A few lag behind to destroy the suits they couldn't take but catch up to you as you reach above ground.

"Please tell me this Transport isn't far away, my suit's legs are royally fucked up."

"Don't worry it's just a few meters from here!" Sai shouts as you and the resistance members sprint a couple meters north of the base where a massive VTOL Plane de-cloaks and drops it's back hatch.

Boarding the plane it re-cloaks and takes off. You get away without a scratch on you, Ma-G doing permanent damage to the bases systems before she's taken out of connection range.

Once in the plane you get out and join up with Sai and the other resistance members, who are laughing and cheering after such a clean get away.

"So, you said you aren't from around here? Where did you come from exactly?" Sai asks with a desperately curious look.

"It's a long story...but I think I should get through it all by the time we reach the Treasure Star..."

"Location found, providing coordinates" Ma-G states from the Crusader's external speakers, getting a jump out of the resistance members.

You can't help but laugh. Where to begin? Oh that's right it started on a Friday...
-----------------

Several hours later after meeting up with the Treasure Star and being offered to come to W.A.R.M's base, you finally have some free time on your hands after the countless questions.

Jerid and Mouar are alive and locked up, Queen Mineva is pissed but happy to be alive, and the Treasure Star crew are just happy you aren't dead.

You have some repair work that needs to be done on the Crusader, but Sai wanted you to come talk to the leader of W.A.R.M, General Campbell.

What do you want to do Jake?

>[B] Go talk to General Campbell, he probably has a lot of questions.
I'm sorry, General Campbell? Oh my. Yes, I can see why a person named General Campbell would have issues with the Cosmic Era. Yes, let's go talk to them. Make sure to set the AGE Builder on making the necessary replacement parts first, though. No reason we can't multitask.
>>
>>30420448
Yeah.
Might as well get a list of the necessary repairs and supplies needed for the ship, our suits, as well as potential upgrades for the Treasure Star.
>>
>>30420771
God, I want to pick up some phase shift armor while we're here. It wouldn't be a big deal, given that Vagan suits primarily use beam weapons, but it would just be fun to be completely immune the next time someone shoots missiles at us.
>>
>>30420448
>>30420431
You set the AGE Builder to make the replacement parts and go with Sirus and Daiki to meet with General Campbell. Being led through the base you can tell that W.A.R.M. is in desperate need of weaponry and mobile suits. Despite having a well hidden base and a very advanced transport, most of the guards are carrying crudely manufactured rifles and the mobile suits you pass look rather old or obviously salvaged.

Eventually you reach a small office and see a man about roughly your age, with graying black hair and well trimmed 'short box beard'. He stares up from various documents on his tattered wooden desk and smiles at you, extending a handshake to the three of you before offering seats.

"It's nice to meet you gentlemen, I've heard a lot about you." General Campbell said after introductions.

"Good things I hope?"

"Good and bizarre things. Most of my men tell me not to let you near to kitchen, but not to hold you back from helping in the R&D lab."

"That's pretty accurate for Jake anyway." Daiki states with a chuckle, giving you a knowing look.

"Any normal man in charge would think this was a trap, or a trick, or a loss of his own sanity. However far more stranger and terrible things have happened to me in my life and I know better." Campbell's eyes seem to change as he speaks, you can tell he's lost quite a lot.

"I can tell the three of you are good men and you possess weapons, equipment, and knowledge that isn't from this world. I can't offer much in return, but I would like to ask you to assist us in preparing for a large scale operation against Terminal..."

"I'm fine with it. It's obvious this world is seriously fucked up from what Jake told me." Captain Sirius says, crossing his arms. "I'm not exactly a brainiac like these two are, but I own the ship, so my permission has to count for something right?"

>>30420885
"I really need to work on the means to help us return home, but I have no qualms with helping when I can. I believe Jake has more time and technical knowledge that you could use however." Daiki points to you.

Well Jake? What do you think? Do you wish to help W.A.R.M? And if you do, how do you wish to help them?
>>
>>30420932
Of course we'll help. It's not like we're not already in the business of aiding rebellions we don't really know the full details of because the alternative seems crappy. Let's get some improved manufacturing capability going. How long would it take us to build a new AGE Builder? I know Flit asked us not to do that anymore, but this is another universe. And we're already using a bootleg Builder, so even if he had the others modified to not be able to produce more of themselves it should work. I think it took us about eight hours or so, last time. And while that's going on, we can investigate the new suits WARM stole and help them in getting them combat ready.
>>
>>30420932
From the look of their base, they could use some new suits - if they could provide us with the materials and manpower needed to repair the Treasure Star, we'd be willing to make a copy of the AGE builder and the recycler. If they help us restore the TS to its full power and upgrade it, we could even help them design MP versions of those suits they just stole. If they surpass our expectation, we'll share our technical data as well - the IUS, our advanced reactors, all that stuff.

But first, information. What's going on in this dimension, and who are you people?
>>
>>30421141
Giving Cosmic Era mobile suits fusion reactors would make them ridiculously powerful. Their Gundams are already overpowering enough with fission, giving them fusion would render them unstoppable.
>>
>>30421017
>>30421141

Actually you're using Daiki's AGE builder which was on the Treasure Star from the beginning, that's why it has the ability to generate weapons from combat data fed into it, because it utilizes a AGE System designed by Daiki's father.

You can replicate the AGE Builder in 8 hours, however there's no way you can replicate the AGE System, but having a giant fabrication machine that can build just about anything up to a certain size would be a boon for these people even without the ability to generate designs and weapons.

Giving them a recycler would also be a great idea since they're obviously short on materials.

You explain to the General what you're willing to give him and do for him, but first you ask for some information.

"So what's going on here and who are you people exactly?"

"I could sit here telling you everything that's happened in the world, but I'll try to keep it short. This world has been ravaged by war, conflicts over the superiority of modified genes over unmodified ones. Like most wars it was an empty, hateful conflict, the clashing factions were just equally twisted and willing to do anything to win. I fought in the first war and washed my hands of my hatred after realizing the idiocy of it all. I settled down, tried to raise my daughter and encourage her relationship with one of the few 'Naturals' living in the PLANTS."

The General sighs and leans back in his chair, staring up at the ceiling for a moment as he rubs his tired eyes.

"I hoped I had taught my daughter to follow her heart, but I'm a better military man then I was a father. In the end she was swept off her feet with promises of power and affection, then she was warped and twisted into a puppet whose only use was to perpetuate the war I had walked away from once before. I worked desperately to find her and was joined by the boy my daughter once claimed to love. However by the time we found here, we were to late..."

>>
>>30421389
"She had been killed by the very women she idolized and was warped to emulate. Lacus Clyne is nothing but a monster. Underneath that so called 'beauty' and behind that 'pretty' voice of hers is a black empty void, absent of all compassion and humanity."

You straighten up in your chair as the General speaks.

"Lacus Clyne. I assume she has something to do with it?"

"Do with it? She leads it!" The General shakes his head. "During the first Bloody Valentine War she was apart of a group that sought to end the war through force. It was an idiotic but good hearted notion it seemed. After the war she disappeared from public view and robbed the politicians of the power she apparently held, they replaced her with my daughter after several extensive surgeries. Lacus yanked her friends out of hiding and attempted to do the same thing they did before."

"I guess we can see how it went." Daiki frowned and the General nodded.

"Maybe she started with good intentions, but after they met opposition and were nearly killed something snapped inside of her. I personally believe it was after her lover, Kira Yamato, died that she broke. He was hunted down and battled by a boy who sought revenge against him. Due to his arrogance, Kira received a giant sword through the reactor of his suit. However since nuclear reactors don't explode like a fusion reactor would, Kira's suit didn't go up in a nuclear blast and instead crashed into the sea. Kira survived the battle, but the massive radiation expose killed him shortly after he was discovered by his friends..." The General sighs.

"After that Lacus began collecting power, she hunted down and murdered my daughter who was in hiding, and then began to snip the war in her favor, ensuring both sides were utterly destroyed by the fight so when she and her forces rolled in, one one would be able to stop her. It's been three years and now she rules the world and the PLANTS, save for a few pockets of resistance and us."

>(Cont)
>>
>>30421675
"So does that answer your questions? Or do you have more?" The General gets up from his chair and pours himself a drink from an old dusty bottle of wine.

Well Jake? Any more questions?
>>
>>30421675
> Due to his arrogance, Kira received a giant sword through the reactor of his suit. However since nuclear reactors don't explode like a fusion reactor would
Fucking THANK YOU! Christ, I am so tired of nuclear reactors in Seed exploding. It doesn't work that way!
>>
>>30421698
No. No more questions. That tells us all we need to know. If one of his men can lead us to the armory, we can get to work.

Before we leave the room, though, express our condolences. Jake's daughter pointlessly because of a stupid war, too (as far as he knows). We're sorry for making him have to relive that. It never gets any easier, does it?
>>
>>30421698
Sincerest condolences, general.
So what's the plan at the moment? They're fighting against this Lacus, and I guess that the loss of Terminal HQ must've hurt her plans a little.

Is it possible to somehow recreate the AGE System? I remember that we allowed the sharing of combat data with the AGE builder back on the Magic Schoolbus, maybe we could do the same here. It'd allow WARM to at least produce their suits faster. Or, if nothing else, feed it data so it can replicate their stuff and what to improve.

We need to check on the Treasure Star and it's new passengers. We'll have the AGE builder replicate itself and make another recycler, give a list of the necessary repairs for the ship to the technicians, and while that's going on, see how Mineva's doing. This time, with no mind probing or Zeon propaganda. If we're to trust her, we need the full story of what went down in UC.
>>
>>30421935
Well, remember, the AGE Builder has an incredible engineering system even without the evolutionary design program. Just having it lets you design new equipment on your own very easily. Though we should definitely feed the new machines to the AGE System. I'm sure Crosswire will engineer something to prevent us from keeping the full data (it would just be too powerful, otherwise), but we can probably get some minor technological benefits from it.
>>
>>30421935
>and while that's going on, see how Mineva's doing. This time, with no mind probing or Zeon propaganda. If we're to trust her, we need the full story of what went down in UC.
If we're having a Pow-Wow, we should bring in Jerid and Mouar. They're in the same boat as the rest of us, and they should probably be told what's going on.
As much as they'd like to, the silly Titans vs Zeon squabbles have no place here and as experienced MS pilots they may need to help protect the Treasure Star.
>>
>>30422026
Also, we need to be smug to Jerid and Mouar. "I told you we weren't from around here, it's not my fault if you assumed I meant Jupiter."
>>
>>30422024
We'll probably get some ideas for potential future wears and weapons. The Mass Produced Merlin-types will be similar to the Strike and its packages, the new energy caps could be based on the Unicorn's Magnum, that stuff. But we need to upgrade the ship first - I don't like how the jumps are happening less frequently. Daiki should check that out.

What suits did have the AGE System though? The Crusader, AGE-1, both AGE-2s, and the Merlin and Gawain? If Leviathan did capture the Asuno kids, then they're having two AGE systems of their own, alongside Flit's nano-AGE builder.

>>30422026
Yeah, that too. We don't know what mess we got ourselves into this time, and we'll need all the help we can get.
>>
>>30421935
>>30421828
The AGE System is black boxed, there's no way to replicate the program. However the AGE Builder itself won't be any less effective, it just won't have the ability to generate designs and process data like an AGE System equipped Builder does. W.A.R.M will still be able to build anything they can come up with designs for.

"No I don't have any more questions. Just tell me what you want to do and I'll get to it as soon as possible."

The General smiles gratefully. "I'd like you to go down to our R&D lab and assist with the project being worked on there it's being run by the boy who was very close to my daughter, Barry Badgiruel. If you need any physical assistance in terms of labor, my men are at your full disposal."

The three of you stand up and get ready to leave when you stop and turn around.

"General you have my condolences. I have too lost a daughter as well because of a stupid war."

The General gives you an understanding nod. "Thank you Mr. Crocker, though I'm sad to hear that even in other worlds stupidity is still rampant..."

"What is your course of action going to be for defeating Terminal?" You ask.

"Destroying their HQ. We managed to raid it with surprising ease thanks to you, but we need to destroy it. The damage your friend did was quite a bit, but the base still stands with Lacus nestled somewhere inside. We have plan however, I'll inform you of the details later."

You exit the generals office and think on what to do.

It'll take 8 hours to make a AGE Builder and about an hour to repair your suit. Daiki however offers to do those things for you, since he's going to be working on the ship trying to fix and upgrade it anyway.

There's also the matter of Mineva, Jerid, and Mouar to take care of. They're in another dimension now and at the moment the three are still wrapped up in the issues of their homeworlds. If you could convince them to help you, that would mean three more hands on the ship.

>(Continued)
>>
>>30422333
General Campball also asked you to help with an R&D project run by Barry Badgiruel.

Overall a lot of stuff to do. What do you want to tackle first Jake?
>>
>>30422299
Well, Daiki is already working on repairing the ship. The less frequent jumps could just be because the system is stabilizing, though if it's something bad I'm sure he'll spot it.

As for the suits, the Merlin is already a better version of the Strike. It can add new equipment all over. Strike just has backpacks. I was actually thinking that the MP Merlin would be the next generation of Adele. Add the hardpoints and the sub-arms to the Adele Mk.II and it would complement it really well. Likewise, the MP Gawain would get folded into the Clanche.
>>
>>30422353
Speak with Jerid, Mouar, and Mineva first.
>>
>>30422353
Let's talk to the UC folks. If only to reassure them that we'll do as much to get them home as we are to getting us home. Then we should go talk to Barry.
>>
>>30422353
Alright, get that Barry guy and introduce him to Daiki. Daiki can teach him how to operate the AGE builder as well as how it works, while Barry can grab his engineers and begin fixing the ship as much as they can. That way, Daiki can focus on repairing the Grand Wing, while the local engineers work their magic on the minor stuff - faulty cables, optimizing the generator performance, that stuff.

We'll go deal with the UC folk.
>>
I say we speak with the UC peeps. Maybe get Jerid and Mouar to help out, if that's not asking for too much? They say they fight to end war, so maybe we can convince them to help us end this one. Two extra aces would DEFINITELY help, hopefully they can't stab us in the back due to the fact that they need us alive to get back home, and even if they try to kill us and take our ship, they wouldn't know what to do with it.

You decide to head to the ship and talk to the others. Boarding the ship you pass through the hanger and make your way to the brig, where you find Mineva arguing with Jerid and Mouar. After waiting for the argument to die down you step in.

"Listen you three, I'm sorry you got dragged into this. We're working just as hard to get you home as we are trying to get ourselves home."

"Why do I doubt that?" Jerid asked

"Because your an uncultured ape?" Mineva asked

"Please Princess, a few minutes ago you were practically sobbing about how the ship wasn't supposed to have leave when it did. You're just a spoiled brat!" Jerid snapped.

"But it wasn't supposed to leave, something must have made it leave early!"

"Enough!" You shout, trying to keep calm during this argument.

"Listen, I know the three of you have differences, but you're stuck in the same boat with us. You need us to get back home, and we could really use your help around the ship. Your ideals won't mean jack and shit if you can't get home to actually apply them. So how about it? You trust us and we'll trust you and get you home..."

There's a long silence from Mineva and some heated talking between Jerid and Mouar. Eventually however the three speak.

"I'll do what I can around the ship, though I warn you I'm not very skilled in combat..." Mineva states.

"I'm willing to help out as long as I don't have to be around her..." Jerid states, shooting Mineva a glare.

What jobs to you wish to assign the three Jake?
>>
>>30422736
Okay. Mineva clearly thinks she can sense the Treasure Star's jumps. Can we send her to work with Daiki on the Grand Wing? Maybe she can make sense of what's happening with it.

Jerid and Mouar, examine the Byarlant Custom (I assume Jerid's Apparatus is a lost cause. I doubt Daiki managed to get more than half of it when he was catching Jerid) to see if its design principles still work in this universe. As far as we know, Minovsky particles don't exist in our home universe, so there's no reason to think they do in this one. If it does work, great. If it doesn't, do they know enough about their own machines to adapt them to using standard plasma rather than M-particles? Because then we'll need to refit them with our type of beam sabers and rifles, even if we get their reactors swapped out.
>>
>>30422879
If the Apparatus is a lost cause, we'll have to put the Byarlant in the AGE Builder. And if we do, we should probably stick what we have of the Apparatus in there to see if it can come up with a decent suit for Jerid.
>>
>>30422736
What do they know to do?

Jerid and Moaur are capable pilots, so they can go repair their suits. If they have some technical know-how, they can help with other repairs as well.
Though we should keep an eye out on them. And introduce ourselves properly.

As for Mineva, I guess she's good at organizing things. We could let her tag along Daiki - both as an organizer as well as a precognition system.

We could make them a Clanche Custom based on the AGE-2 and the Byarlant, I guess.
>>
>>30422980
Also, which Byarlant Custom was Mouar in? There were two different custom units. The one featured in Unicorn used parts from the Gabthley, while the other one was equipped with Gaplant parts.
>>

>>30422986
"Mineva, you think you can sense the Treasure Star's jumps?" You ask.

"I know I can." She states firmly.

"Then go work with Daiki, try to sense if there's anything wrong with it."

"What about us?" Jerid asks.

"Well what can you do?"

"We're pilots, but we know enough to repair our own suits."

You go over and unlock the cell door, letting the two out. "Go look at that Byarlant of yours and see if it works. The generators your suits use rely on a special kind of particle that might not work here. If they don't we'll have to see about replacing the generators."

"Alright we'll get to that." Jerid and Moaur leave begrudgingly with Mineva leaving shortly after to find Daiki.

Now all that's left is to go see Barry and see what he's working on.

Ready to go Jake?
>>

>>
>>30423093
Have Ma G make sure to monitor them while we're away, just in case. But then, yeah, let's go see Barry Badgurel. So what, is he Natarle's little brother or cousin or what?
>>
>>30423093
Yeah, grab some coffee and go see that kid.
Have someone look over the UC guys.

>>30423142
I'm guessing son.
>>
>>30423120
They actually both have parts from both the Gaplant and Gabthley. The difference is that Unit 01 has claws with built in beam guns while Unit 02 has regular hands and beam cannons mounted on its shoulders and elbows.
>>
>>30423174
Natarle wasn't old enough to have a son who was involved with Meer. Not unless this AU's Meer is into shota. Which fits if she wanted to be more like her idol.
>>
>>30423179
Wait, no, I got confused about which suit was which. Yeah, it's Unit 01 is Gabthley-derived, Unit02 is Gaplant-derived. I was thinking about different Titans suits entirely.
>>
>>30423174
>>30423142
You have Ma-G keep an eye on them before heading out to see this Barry kid. Walking through the base you're pointed in the direction of the R&D lab and what you find is rather disturbing. The 'R&D' lab is less like a lab and more like a chop shop. It's a single massive room with a high ceiling, gutted mobile suits lay scattered around the entrance of the room, with chains hanging from the ceiling, and tools scattered about.

Against one wall, mechanics appear to be process of gutting the "ZAKU"s and "DOM"s for parts. Some things are carted over to a handful of beat up mobile suits on the other side of the room, however a majority of the parts are moved over to a massive mobile armor against the back wall.

It's shape is unusual like a giant pair of shoulders with no arms limbs, torso or body, just a single ZAKU head and three large tri-pod like legs suspending it off the ground. In the middle of the mobile armor is a large circular hole which appears to be the barrel for some kind of massive weapon.

As you begin to wonder who Barry is, you spot dozens of cables running from the cockpit of the mobile armor to three computers where a young man, probably 20 years old, sits, smoking and working vigilantly at them.

You go up to him with a warm smile. "Hey, I'm Jake Crocker, I was sent down by General Campbell to assist you with a project. How can I be of help."

Barry continues working at his computer for a minute not turning away from them. It's only till he finishes his cigarette and adds it to the small tower of butts he's collected in an ash tray next to him that he looks to you.

His eyes are blood shot, he does appear to have slept any time recently, and the boy looks somewhat disturbed.

"What are you skilled in? Mechanical, Electrical? Robotics?" He asks as he looks you up and down.

"A bit of everything really, I've designed and built mobile suits and weapons before so I can help with whatever you need me too." You said humbly.

"What I need right now is someone who can install the three nuclear reactors we got out of the Terminal DOMs without killing everyone here. There's no issue with radiation provided they're still in their shielded shells, however the connection process can be tricky and I don't trust most of the technicians here to handle this kind of work. Can you do this for me?" Barry asks.

"Sure, but do you mind if I ask you a couple questions? I think I might work better if I have some information."

"Alright, what do you want to know?"

It'll be easier to set up the power systems if we know what they have to run. Oh, and tell him about the AGE Builder we're getting him. Soon enough he won't have to work with these scavenged tools and parts.

Don't ask him about his relationship to Campbell, though. We can guess from what the General told us, and we don't want to bring up any bad memories.

"It would be helpful if I knew what I was connecting the reactors too exactly."

"That is Mara, named after the demon from Buddhist Mythology." Barry said, pointing to the mobile armor. "It's an experimental heavy assult mobile armor built from ZAKU parts and advanced components I had our scavengers steal. It's main and only weapon is a variable beam weapon capable of powerful long range attacks. Despite it's power it can also be incredibly precise, it can focus it's attack to a beam no bigger or thicker then a strand of hair, or disperse an attack over a wide area and take out large groups of enemies. Not even fortresses and subterranean emplacements are face from Mara's wrath."

"It's impressive, did you design it?"

Barry nods and lights up another cigarette. "It doesn't have any limbs, but it has an atmospheric flight system that allows it to fly and hover for extended periods of time. However it needs to be braced down to properly fire it's weapon, that's what the tri-pod is for."

"What design flaws does it have?" You look it over closely

"It's vulnerable without support, it has no means to fight an enemy in close quarters, and due to a need to keep weight down we can't able to add significant armor to it. Before I was having issues working with a proper power supply, but now that I have the reactors I have about 12000kw to work with if I chain the three reactors together, that should be plenty. It has issues, but they're fine for it's intended purpose."

>>30423839
"Smoking will kill you eventually..." You say, giving a worrying glance at the leaning tower of cigarette butts Barry has built.

Barry shrugs and takes a puff of his cigarette. "We all die eventually Mr. Crocker, what matters is that we do something important in the time we're alive."

"And I'd say sending everyone at Terminal HQ to hell with Mara is pretty important, wouldn't you? So do you have any other questions for me?" Barry says, turning back to his computers.
>>
>>30424047
[x] Need an upgrade?

EM Armour. What else can we use?
>>
>>30424047
Fill him in on the AGE builder he's getting.

I'm guessing this is the main weapon WARM guys will use against Lacus, so it should be properly equipped to deal with them.
Could he swap those reactors for the ones we're using? Throw in an IUS and some EM shielding, as well as some additional weapons and armor, and that thing will be unstoppable.
>>
>>30424047
Ask him if he wants a source of new reactors. With the tools we're giving him he can build an effectively unlimited supply of reactors completely unaffected by N-Jammers.

>>30424093
They have that in the Cosmic Era. It's called Geshmedig Panzer (German for "pliable armor"). They've also got reactive beam shields that only activate when an attack hits them. Not to mention the magneto-rheological plating that is Phase Shift Armor, standard on most reactor-equipped mobile suits and even some battery-operated ones. Cosmic Era is not lacking for defensive systems.
>>
>>30424182
Yeah, thing is, I don't know if he had blueprints for those.
>>
>>30424236
Well, now that he has the DOMs he has the tech for Phase Shift and the Screaming Nimbus. If we could add enough power that the weight wouldn't overwhelm the flight systems, we can throw those on.
>>
>>30424267
I think the Vagan thrusters could pull that off. They consume less power for the same output, if I remember correctly.
Combine those with 3 fusion reactors, and the Mara could wreck some serious shit.
>>
>>30424326
Other way around. They consume more power for the same output, but they're stabler so you can get an overall improvement in performance by using more power. Do that with standard thrusters and they explode. So if we can boost his power supply enough, it would be viable.
>>
>>30424349
They're also much more difficult to detect because they emit light energy rather than thermal, if I recall.
>>
>>30424414
Easier to control, as well. If they weren't so energy consuming we'd use them for everything. I don't know how the Vagans manage it. Lightwave thrusters, EM Armor and almost nothing but beam weapons. How is it that we've never been able to equal their power output?
>>
>>30424349
Right, sorry, forgot about that. What about those hybrid thrusters the Gawain used?

>>30424414
That too. And much better mobility at the cost of maximum speed.
We should see if we could outfit the Treasure Star with those.

Also, since we're getting resupplied, can we make a Chimera wear?

"You'll be getting a fabrication machine in a few hours that can make just about anything up to a certain size. You can't make chemicals, ammo, or anything particularly small with it, but it should allow you to produce parts for mobile suits with ease." You state.

"Really? That sounds like it would be really useful."

"I could come by and show you how it works if you want."

Barry shakes his head. "If it's computer operated, I can figure out how it works though I appreciate having someone around who actually knows something I don't for a change."

>>30424093
"Ever think of upgrading the design?" You ask.

"A few times, but tacking stuff on would waste valuable time. I thought of adding Phase Change armor but to be honest I'm not a fan of the stuff. Terminal applies the stuff to their suits all the time and they walk around like they're invincible, problem is Phase Change armor can't protect the suits joints, optics, or exposed systems. On top of that the internal systems can still take damage even if the armor isn't penetrated. It's useful, but frankly I want to take Terminal down without having that stuff on Mara."

"What about shielding?"

Barry shakes his head hesitantly "I want all the power I can have for Mara's gun. Protection is important, but if the enemy gets close the Mara is good as dead anyway."

"Well I have some specs for fusion reactors, an anti-beam system called EM armor, and a light wave propulsion system."

Barry raises his eyebrow. "Really? You know how to make a workable fusion reactor?"

You nod your head. "It's not something I can just throw together in an AGE Builder, it takes a lot of time and caution to make one, but the power output is pretty significant and they're very reliable. I've never had to replace a fusion reactor in my life, mostly because when they're damaged by beam weapons they tend to go critical and destroy everything within a certain radius..."

>>
>>30424487
"I'm intrigued, however let's work on finishing Mara before we start talking about upgrades. Is there anything else you want to ask me?"

Barry seems a bit more relaxed around you now, you can tell he's a engineer at heart just like you.

Well is there anything else you want to ask?

>>
>>30424563
"What does W.A.R.M have in terms of mobile suits at the moment?" You ask, glancing around the room at the beat up and gutted suits.

"Mostly older suits, Strike Daggers, ZAKUs, GINNS, a few Civilian Astray customs the Junk Guild smuggled us before they flew off to Mars to avoid getting murdered by Terminal. We're using anything and anything we can get."

"Alright, I think I might have some stuff you guys might be interested in, but I'll tell you after I install these reactors..."

(And this is where I'll end things tonight, mostly because I don't want you guys risking rolling a one and giving Jake radiation poisoning when he's already had a very unhealthy dosage of Mars Rays. So how did you like this session guys?)
