You are Gertrude Pool, Sophomore Class President and new commander of Lafayette Girls Academy’s revived Tankery Team.

After a quick shower and some freshening up, you put down Nancy’s bowl of breakfast in front of her as she simply stares ahead, eyes unfocused.

Kitten, who’s sitting across from her, says, “She going to be okay?”

You shrug. “Maybe you shouldn’t have played a zombie game with her.”

“Could be worse,” says Kitten as she eats up a spoonful of cereal. “I could’ve played Dead Space 3 co-op with her.”

You scoff. “Dead Space 3 wasn’t THAT scary.” You’re lying of course, you nearly pissed yourself playing Dead Space 3. And according to Kitten, that wasn’t even the SCARY part of Dead Space. In fact, she kind of described it like this, the first was Alien, the second was Aliens, and the third was Aliens 3. That did make some sense of it.

There’s a knock at the door. Probably Ramirez. Once you’re dressed out in your uniform, you go to answer the door and-

Lisa smashes the door open, slamming you against the wall, looking tired as all hell. “Morning, everyone! If anyone asks where I was, I was not on a panty raid last night.”

> “You were on a panty raid last night.”

> “What in the hell happened?”

You slide out of the gap between the door and the wall, nursing your bruised head and nose. “The hell happened, Lisa?”

Lisa says, “Oh, a couple of things went wrong,” as she walks over to the bathroom, rolls up her sleeves and starts splashing her face with water from the sink.

Kitten asks, “You get caught?”

“Oh goodness, no,” says Lisa. “It’s a very long story, but Fairless caught us, one of the Delinquent kids we brought along ended up kissing Tabitha to distract a hall monitor, and we ended up throwing Fredendall’s underwear overboard!”

You narrow your eyes. “You threw her underwear overboard?”

“Every single article,” says Lisa. She waterfalls some milk down her mouth. Exhaling greatly once she’s finished, she says, “We tried not to leave a single trace of existence, we even wore masks too.”

You say, “The masks were just stockings weren’t they.”

“Maybe,” you say. “Turns out I’m terrible at this pranking stuff.”

You nod, smirking. “Maybe you should stick to treasury stuff, Lisa. It suits you.” You pack up your backpack, anyway, let’s head to school.

Everyone packs up, and Nancy finally manages to eat her breakfast, then you head out onto the street, meeting with Ramirez as well.

> + 5 CP

You arrive at the campus in good time. Maybe you feel like reading some-

“POOL!”

oshit

Fredendall, flanked by Fairless and the rest of the Senior staff who are giggling and laughing like crazy march up to you. Fredendall is red in the face, furious, and for some reason her hand is directly over her crotch.

Wait, oh no, is she-

Oh no your sides please no

She gets up in your face, jaw clenched. “This is your fault isn’t it!?”

You blink, putting every fiber of your being into not laughing. “What’s my fault, Fredendall?”

“Someone stole all my underwear!”

Nancy tilts her head. “So you came to school wearing no-“

“SHUT UP!” yells Fredendall. “I know you’ve got something to do with this!”

You gently say, “You have any proof?”

We can go further back to 2004.

Everyone loves Lesbian Gertude.
'Cause the girls that she does are ever so prude.
Look who she screwed, it is really too lewd.
To do as she wish, she had her subdued.

Lighting a cig, it's Lesbian Gertrude.
Everyone's seen how her bed-girls have accrued.
Look at her there with her leathery, leathery whip!
It's made of love, and with a little flip...

Yeah, yeah, yeah, the girl feels hot.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, the girl feels hot.
Hot, hot, hot from her loving spanking.
Yeah!

What did she see in Trude's harem dungeon?
She saw boobs, lots of boobs, lots of boobs.
Oh boobs, lots of boobs, lots of boobs.
Yeah, yeah!
>>
>>30414111
[2/2]

Fredendall tugs on her own hair, growling and screaming internally. “No! I don’t have proof and I don’t have witnesses either! BUT I KNOW SOMEONE HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THIS! AND FURTHER-“ Henrietta Carnegie playfully flicks Fredendally’s skirt up. “CARNEGIE WHAT THE FUCK!?”

The Senior Staff minus Fairless laugh their underwear covered asses off. Andrea Walker says, “I see London! I see France! I can see NO UNDERPANTS!”

“AAAHHH!” Fredendall screams in the air.

Meanwhile, Fairless simply stands to the side, neutral expression on her face.

“FUCKING WHATEVER!” yells Fredendall as she storms off, the rest of the staff following her. Lisa looks at Fairless, who simply shrugs and walks in a different direction.

Lisa wipes some sweat off her forehead. “Phew. Thank goodness for Fairless.”

> Find your staff

Your staff giggles a bit at Fredendall’s expense. The entire’s school has learned by now that Fredendall has arrived with no underwear. From what Lisa told you, apparently no one will lend her any. “Fairless is afraid she might leave skidmarks or something!” You and Lisa cover your mouths, chortling quietly.

With that, you all get your lunches of a nice (for once) rice curry with a side of bread, apple slices, and a carton of milk. You notice that Lisa seems to regularly get the chocolate milk for some reason. Strange.

Lisa says, “Gotta say, for everything that went on, it appears it went off without a hitch! Nobody knows it was me or any of our accomplices!”

Nancy asks, “So what was the raid originally planned like?”

“Oh, it was simple,” says Lisa. She gestures you all closer so she can whisper. “Basically, we had two teams. One of the delinquents, the loader I think, we had Tabitha wait at the balcony of her dorm to keep watch. Meanwhile, I and Gordon snuck into her dorm. Gordon’s real good at lockpicking for some reason but that’s beside the point.

“Anyway, we’d gather up all her panties into a bag, then toss it out the balcony to the lookouts, then we’d sneak out and plant the panties somewhere that’ll draw suspicion away from us.”

You ask, “Where?”

“Well, Huxley’s in town so we tried to plant at his room.”

Nancy asks, “Who’s Huxley?”

“Mr. Mishka is Huxley’s great-uncle or something. Spun some bullshit about a program of apprenticeship, turns out he just dropped out from high school but anyway he’s in town working with Mr. Mishka, he’s around Freddie’s age, and we figured, what better decoy than him?”

“So you tried to throw him under a bus?” you ask.

“Well, until Fredendall woke up, Fairless caught us, and we ended up just tossing the underwear overboard to cover our tracks. Huxley’s probably still pissed that we woke him up to drive us to the dorm though. He probably wouldn’t have been happy with the rest of the plan,” says Lisa.

You nod. “I wouldn’t have been.”

You switch out to the school swimsuit and start practicing your kicks at one end while also reading up on your notes on your phone. Thank goodness it’s waterproof. Joanna, Willie Hanna, Nicole, and Rachel all paddle next to you.

“Why do you do that?” asks Rachel.

You say, “Because I have to keep up with my studies somehow and I figure this is the best way to do it.”

Joanna chuckles. “I don’t blame you!” She pulls on the straps of her swimsuit and snaps them back taut. “Me personally, I think I should study a bit more.”

Hanna says, “But you don’t. Do you?”

“Well…” Joanna shrugs.

Nicole says, “Personally I think there’s nothing wrong with multi-tasking. Us women are apparently better at multi-tasking than men!”

“Ha!” you yell. “Men!”

All of you laugh at Men.

Willie Hanna frowns. “I need a boyfriend.”

Nicole nods. “So do I.”

“Yeah,” says Rachel.

“Mhm,” says Joanna. “Wouldn’t mind a girl I suppose.”

“I bet Gertrude could get any guy she wants, I mean look at all the Freshmen and how they look at her,” says Hanna.

You say, “Well I don’t mean to brag but you are right, Hanna. I happen to have the best confidence, poise, and mystique required to be a total dude magnet!”

Joanna asks, “Then how come you don’t have a boyfriend?”

“D’oh!” you grunt annoyingly. “Well, the reason I don’t have a boyfriend is because I’m too busy.”

Rachel nods. “Sure.”

“I’m serious!” you say, wagging your finger. “I could have a boyfriend in a heartbeat, and I’d break so many hearts here that I’d be listed as a new heart disease.”

ALARM

Whoops. With that, gym class is over. After a brief shower (where Joanna again slaps your ass for another hard day’s work) you head on to the rest of the day. History goes by smoothly with a lecture on Roman culture and civilization. Theatre as well goes by a short movie on the inner-workings of theatre production.

And French, you actually manage to ace the handout. Ain’t that something.

Finally, school’s over.

You end up falling asleep again while reading this.

> Engineering for High School Students: Progress: 60%

Damn, this book. Now you can see why Dory let you have it. It’s more boring than tennis.

“Hey, Boss,” your staff walks over. “Want to head back to the dorm and pack up?”

You nod, shutting the book tight. “Sure, let’s do this.”

With that, you follow your staff out of the library and back out of the campus. You can distinctly see Fredendall shout at a very incredibly stoic Fairless about her lack of underpants. SHE STILL ISN’T WEARING UNDERWEAR. Wow.

Still, Fairless must have the patience of a saint.

Lisa chuckles a bit. “You totally should’ve went with us, Gertrude, it would’ve been fun with you there!”

You shrug. “There’s too much at risk for me. I gotta think about myself you know?”

“Selfish.”

You arrive back at the dorms. Time to pack your things. You head into your dorms and pack your trenchcoat, a spare uniform, your tankery uniform, your grandad’s binoculars, toothbrush and toothpaste, hairbrush, laptop, and books as well. Looks like you’re not forgetting anything. Looks like you’re pretty much done. You wonder if anyone else is.

> Check on Someone (Kitten)

You open up Kitten’s door. “Kitten, ready to go?”

Kitten packs up a lot of spare things, uniforms, she even has three sets of the Tankery Uniform. You say, “What’s with all this?”

“Well spares incase some of it goes missing,” she says. “I even packed some spare panties in case you forgot yours.”

You laugh at that, then stop laughing. You quickly say, “I’ll be right back.” Once you’re right back, you’ve got yourself a fresh set of underwear.

With that, the both of you meet your staff outside. “Got everything we need?” you ask.

Nancy nods. “The HQ’s locked up, and I’ve called in a favor from Officers O’Hara and O’Brian to keep it guarded. They’re reliable enough I figure!”

Lisa says, “Great, let’s head to the ship bay then, our tanks should be getting loaded by now.”

“Alright.”

With that, you all head out towards the ship bay near the bottom of the ship. That of course requires going below decks, which means going through one of the subway style entrances and down towards an elevator.

It’s a bit of a walk.

“Hey, Juliette. What’s up?”

“Not much, we’re about to head out. We’re getting a lot of cookies loaded up to sell just incase.”

“Ah, I was calling to make sure about that. Got everything settled out then?”

“Yep, if Saunders is as American-obsessed as we think they are, it should be a snap!”

“Great, Juliette. Look forward to seeing you then.”

“Righto! Be there in two shakes.”

With that, you hang up. The Elevator heads down at smooth pace.

Of course, nobody ever talks in elevators. Fuck that.

Once you’re down, you step out into the arid smelling shipbay where loads of huge cargo ships are docked to offload and take on cargo. You can see your tanks be loaded onto your ship by crane and all of your crews as well minus the Girl Scouts.

“Hey, you Gertrude?” a very salty looking Naval Studies student walks up to you, peacoat around her shoulders.

“That’s me,” you say.

She offers her hand, “Englehorn. You’re going to be riding aboard the Venture. We’ll have bunks for all of you, might be a bit of a tight squeeze, but it should be comfortable.”

You nod. “Thanks, Englehorn.”

“So, Anne, guys. You all pumped and ready for the Saunders match?”

Anne nods. “Of course! We’ll show them what for, won’t we?” The other two girls shrug and nod. You suppose that’s the best you’ll get for now.

“Also, girls. This might be a good chance to get some work, maybe Saunders will want some custom jobs and the like for their clothes?”

Anne smiles. “We’ve already gotten that taken care of! We’ve packed some materials and equipment with us. Thankfully Officer O’Hara has allowed us to retrieve our stuff after quite the waiting period.”

“Good,” you say. “Anyway, good luck. Hope none of you are seasick.”

With that, the Girl Scouts arrive, with a huge crate of cookies in tow.

Englehorn shouts, “Right! Get everything boarded! Everyone aboard now if you want the best rooms! Let’s go!”

You’re about to rush off to maybe get yourself a single to share with Kitten, before you’re tugged on the sleeve. You look back, it’s Luciano. “Mind if we talk, Gertrude?”

You say, “Her name’s Cathy.”

“Is it? Darn.”

You cross your arms, getting stern. “Luciano, I mean what I say and say what I mean, you’re an Officer. That’s not just some random thinking or some mean prank. It’s a responsibility?”

Luciano frowns. “But what makes me so special? First time we met I could’ve beaten the everloving crap out of you.”

“Luciano, I just happen to think you’ve got that right amount of spunk required for good leadership. That’s all that is.”

Luciano blinks, then nods slowly. “I see…”

“Is that everything?”

“Yeah, I suppose,” says Luciano. She scoffs. “Whatever, let’s just do this.” She shoves past you and boards the ship. She’ll get around to it, at least you hope she will.

With that, you board the ship behind her. A Naval Studies student directs you down to a crew deck. The hallway is quite crowded as people shove and push past each other. You’re pretty sure someone grabbed your thigh back there but you like to think that was your imagination.

The Naval Studies kid says, “We’ve got two rooms left. We’ve got a single, we usually save those for Officers, and I’m told there’s a bed left with your crew.”

You head into the incredibly cramped four bunk room. Eh, you don’t mind sharing with Kitten. All your crew is busy unwinding and freshening up for the trip. You say, “Hey, girls. I miss anything?”

Lisa shakes her head, a purple scrunchie in her mouth as she starts folding up her elbow length blonde hair into a ponytail. She takes the scrunchie out and asks, “What did Luciano want?”

You shrug. “Just a bit of nerves, needed a bit of reassuring.”

Nancy nods, smiling. “That’s nice of you, President.”

“Hey, gotta take of my crew, all of them!” you say as sit down on the bottom bunk next to Kitten, who leans back playing on her DS. You unpack a spare blouse to change into incase you have to head to sleep for the night. Getting some purpose made pajamas though wouldn’t hurt. You’ll have to ask the Sewing Club if they’ve got time maybe.

You put your trenchcoat on and wrap it up tight. Might be cold above decks. “Want to head up with me, Kitten?”

Kitten nods, pocketing her DS. “Sure, let’s do it.” She puts on her trenchcoat as well.

With that, the two of you say goodbye and head up deck.

The Venture, the ship that you’re traveling aboard, has already departed LGA. You look back and see just how huge LGA is in comparison to the ship. And LGA is in theory one of the smaller Academyships in US service. That’s a hell of a thing. You brush past busy Naval Studies students and other crewmembers of the ship.

Your tanks are all loaded up above decks, wrapped up in tarps in case of inclement weather. You figure they have more important cargo inside the ship. You walk up to your Sherman and gently brush the cool side of the cast hull, right below the painted name of “Cupid.”

Kitten says, “Something on your mind, Gertrude?”

“Just thinking,” you say. “Wonder what this tank’s been through.”

“Well, a lot of these tanks are old World War II stuff, there’s a definite chance it saw action,” says Kitten.

You nod.

You feel a brief chilly wind hit you as you walk around the bow of the ship. Some Naval Studies are leaning on the forward rails, taking a break, chattering about. Some are playing a card game as on a crate for a table.

You say to Kitten, “So, Kitten, looking forward to the Saunders match?”

“Well, it’ll be a nice change of pace from the tourney fights I suppose.”

You nod. “Yeah. Hopefully Kay’s on the level definitely.”

“She’s pretty nice,” says Kitten.

“She’s so nice.” You lean back on a rail, as does Kitten. “You know, Kitten, this Tankery stuff has really done a lot to us.”

“Yeah.” Kitten crosses her arms, looking downwards. “For the better I suppose.”

“For the better,” you say. You blink. “Say, Kitten. You told me last night that I’d changed. You were about to say something, but you thought better of it. What was it?”

You blink in surprise, dumbstruck. Kitten smiles at you warmly, and you find yourself blushing in response, scratching the back of your neck. “Gee, Kitten. You really know how to make me blush.”

You take a walk around the ship, keeping your arm around Kitten as you move. Today’s a good day for friendship.

“Hell of a ship,” says Kitten.

You nod. “Yeah, I definitely couldn’t be Naval Studies. Could you imagine working an eight shift on top of having to work on classes? That’s gotta be hard.”

“Yeah.” Kitten nods at that. “I suppose I should’ve taken Naval Studies.”

“Why’s that?”

“Might as well have had an excuse for staying at home all day.”

You snicker at that. “Well, Kitten, at least we’ve gotten you out of your room down and out here into the real world! I think that’s the greater accomplishment.”

“Maybe,” says Kitten. “Maybe.”

There’s an alarm. A Naval Studies student says, “Dinner is now being served.”

“You know, Kitten, it ain’t just me with the growth. It’s you. I really enjoyed you in the play you know, I think you’ve got a real thing going for Theatre.”

Kitten shrugs. “Oh, maybe. I dunno. I’ll think about it for next year, maybe.”

“Kitten, really, I am proud of you.” You rustle up her hair. “You’re not the girl from last year who slept in all day and did nothing but play video games, watch anime, and masturbate to porn. This is really someone I can love.”

With that, you arrive in the Mess Hall. The cook serves you up a fresh pile of… something. It’s an unidentifiable glob of goo that you think has some carrots, peas, and celery in it. Strange. At least they gave you just a whole orange.

Your staff waves you over to a table, and you sit down on next to them. “Hey, Boss,” says Lisa. “How was your walk?”

“Refreshing,” you say. “What about you guys, anything exciting?”

Nancy shrugs. “Oh, nothing too special.”

“So, Lisa, you got a plan?”

Lisa shrugs. “Hold the two bridges, we hold half the map. Force them to come to us if they can, especially since we’re packing firepower with the Aces and the like. It oughta be a complete curbstomp if we’re careful.”

You nod. “Cool beans.”

Nancy says, “I do agree with Lisa. Considering their line up, the best they can field are E8 Shermans which are excellent medium tanks but the 76mm will suffer quite a bit from lacking penetration against our heavier equipment like Hobbes and maybe even Earl.”

“Hell, maybe our tank oughta at least protect against 76 shells,” you say. “Right?” Nancy shrugs at that. “That’s not reassuring.”

At that, your cellphone rings.

“Hello?”

“Hey, Gertrude! You aboard the Venture yet?”

“Yeah, we set off a while ago. What’s up with you, Kay?”

“Not much, just calling to check in and assign flag tanks. Ours is going to be one of our M4A3E8 Shermans, yours will be the Churchill IV. Sound good?”

“Yeah, that sounds fine for now.”

“Sweet! Good luck, alright? I’ll see you on the field!”

“Yeah, good luck to you too, Kay.”

With that, you hang up. You receive a momentary email but you suppose you can check it later. You say, “Our flag’s going to be the Churchill tank.”

“Oooh, interesting,” says Nancy. “I’ll be sure to alert the Freshmen.” She stands up and walks over to the Freshmen crew.

Lisa nods. “I suppose we can rely on Cathy. She seems reliable enough, might be Officer material in the future if she gets a bit more competent.”

Hello, Gertrude! Unfortunately in all this excitement with your match with Saunders and having to train you, I forgot to send you the details of your match with Walter Christie! Attached are a few maps of the area as per standard. Finally, your flag tank will be your KV-85. So please do bear that in mind!

Looking forward to the next time we practice! Alles Gute!

Excellent.

I am somewhat worried about the idea of sitting on our side and just blasting. They have the advantage of a town on their side. The other notable fact though is that the place is a...well its not a valley but it curves gently towards the river so at least we have the high ground if they take the town.

The Aviators all look at each other, surprised. Katya says, “Oh shit.”

You nod. “Yeah, no pressure.”

“You’re giving us pressure,” says Lidya.

“Fine, whatever. How’s your planes coming along?”

Marina shrugs. “Christie’s parts came in yesterday. All sorts of stuffs like new engines, new guns, all that stuff. They even sent in spare rudders and ailerons.”

“Think you’ll have the planes up in time?”

Katya shrugs. “Should. If we can’t we’ll definitely let you know about it.”

Henschel turret is 180mm. It'd be goddamned close if the Firefly scored a hit at 2,000 yards. Could go either way at that point.

I don't think it's likely the Firefly will have firing information at 2,000 yards. I do think it's much more likely for them to have firing data at sub-1000 yards, but that's only danger if they're using SVDS.

Lots of small details at work/in play here.

You shiver a bit, along with Kitten as you walk around the ship above deck. The night has fallen for now and there are very few Naval Studies students out and about. You breath in, taking in a whiff of that salty sea air. Scotland’s bound to come at least during the night.

You say to Kitten, “Hell of a night.”

Kitten nods. “Yep.”

“Say, Kitten, you won’t be mad if we lose the Saunders match right?”

Kitten shakes her head. “Of course not. It’s not like our school’s on the line for it. Hell, it’d certainly teach a few lessons. Walter Christie on the other hand.”

“We’ll see when it comes to that,” you say. You walk up to your tanks, and pat each one as you pass by. They’re very cold to the touch, even a bit damp from the air. You pat your own Sherman finally.

“Take care, Cupid.”

Kitten quirks her brow. “You’re talking to a tank?”

“Hey!” you say, mockingly. “It’s carried us through quite a few things. I’d be sad if this thing ever died on us.”

Kitten nods. “Yeah, same.” Kitten walks up to the hull and then gently pets the cast steel. “Good night, Cupid.”

You smile. “Good night, Cupid.”

Schurzen is usually attached to the side of the tank to protect against HEAT, shrapnel, that's why they went with mesh instead of plates in the later Pz IVs.
Putting track links on the front of the Tiger B's turret is going to interfere with the coax and telescopic gunners' sight.

The actual slope modifiers for SVDS at 30 degrees comes out to 192mm at 10 degrees, and this is the British CP value, where a round goes through 66% intact (WWII Ballistics and Gunnery; L R Bird, R. D. Livingston)

> Read a Book (Engineering for High School Students)

Jeez. At least you found a decent use for this book. It’s really putting you to sleep.

> Engineering for High School Students: Progress: 70%

You sigh. That book has more or less tired you out. Cuddled up next to you is Kitten who is busy blazing away on her DS. Meanwhile, Nancy and Lisa talk with each other across the room.

“So zombies don’t exist?”

Lisa shakes her head. “It’s all a bunch of bullshit. Besides, if zombies did exist, logically they’d all rot to the point of uselessness in within a few months at least. The world unfortunately is no danger of a zombie apocalypse.

Kitten deadpanningly says, “Gee Lisa, did you give the same speech to little kids about Santa Claus?”

“I’m just making sure Nancy doesn’t have another panic attack over zombies,” says Lisa. “Next time, stick to World War II games with her and the like.”

APC shells tend to be hard to shatter, the AP cap keeps the round intact during the initial penetration.

There's more information on the performance of HVAP and SVDS against spaced armour further in that document.

>>30421765
If you read the rest of that sentence you'll notice it optimizes towards a specific direction and increasing your vulnerability towards other engagement angles.

Additionally, you're talking about 1/2 inch plates at 30 degrees. If you wanted to put them on the KT's front you'd have a ridiculous amount of overhang and extra weight.

Also thanks for the document, interesting read.

This would be true if we were sacrificing main armor when we were tacking on that Schurzen Kit.

We aren't.

>Additionally, you're talking about 1/2 inch plates at 30 degrees. If you wanted to put them on the KT's front you'd have a ridiculous amount of overhang and extra weight.

Overhang maybe, but extra weight? Oh please, we probably gained more weight from our applique armor upgrade than we would've gotten from that. In any case, even 1/4" plate makes a really dramatic difference to penetration values, This table especially applies to our frontal hull armor, which is sloped to hell and back.

“Alright, bye Mr. Mishka.”

With that, you hang up. That Spaced Armor kit won’t be around until after your match, and you still need to arrange for some form of transport to Sweden. Hopefully an opportunity comes later.

You missed the point, hoss, they noted that the spaced armour at a 40 degree angle made it easier to penetrate the base armour.

>In any case, even 1/4" plate makes a really dramatic difference to penetration values, This table especially applies to our frontal hull armor, which is sloped to hell and back.
The upper glacis of the KT is already impenetrable to WW2 guns, you'd be adding extra for no benefit. I could see an argument for adding it to the lower glacis though.

“What are you doing there, Kitten?”

“Playing some Chrono Trigger.”

“Cool,” you say as you lean your head in. “Looks neat.”

Kitten nods. “Yep. It’s one of those JRPGS. It’s pretty darn fun. You want to try?”

You shake your head. “No thanks, I imagined I’d fuck things over real fast.”

“Suit yourself,” says Kitten. She yelps as you poke her in the side. “Oh come on, Trudy!”

“What?”

She smirks, closing her DS shut. “You know what! You know I’m ticklish!” She nods to Lisa and Nancy, who are already sound asleep. “I might wake someone up!” You poke her again. “No! Stop stop!”

You grin. “Bet you can’t stay quiet!”

“Trudy!” She covers her mouth as she squirms under your tickling. You snicker quietly. “Trudy! Please noooo!” she whispers as she forcibly laughs into her pillow. “It’s too much!”

“Say uncle!”

“Uncle!” she whispers, occasionally squeaking in laughter. “Uncle! Uncle!”

You stop, giggling quietly. Kitten curls up, quietly snickering to herself. Well, that was a thing. You bring your blanket over you and her, then settle in. Time to head to sleep.

>>30422352
Dude what.

They shot at 4+1/2" armour and 3+3/4" armour with 90mm T50. In the 4+1/2" case they found that 30 degrees reduced penetration range by 50%. In the 3+3/4" case, 40 degrees caused the armour to be easier to penetrate. At no point did they compare the 3" base armour to the 4" base armour tests.

You are Francis Dales, Commander and Loader of the Sentinel AC IA "Popeye" on Lafeyette Girls Academy's revived Tankery Team.

You wake up at 7'o'clock, not needing an alarm. You've gotten into the routine of getting up now for classes, so why sleep in late just because it's Saturday? That would mess up your internal clock. You don't understand why the other girls on board don't try to sleep regularly. It's convenient and really refreshing.

Morning, morning. You pour a bowl of off brand Fruit-Rings and reach for the TV remote. You'll shower later, there's nothing to do today.

There's something nagging you though. Waltraud Sittmann, your crew's driver, got uppity about the same thing she always does yesterday. She said you guys were too 'normal' or something. You usually just brush her off, but she's been persistent about this since you all came back from summer holiday.

Maybe there's something to what she's saying? Think you should do... something?

Honestly? I'd say keep the howitzer and scrounge HEAT shells, better penetration than the 75mm M3, even if it is harder to get on target.

Hunnicutt's Stuart book. The 75mm gun M3 doesn't have HEAT, whereas the 75mm Howitzer M3 does.

hmmm, but doesn't the 75mm have better range and penetration power?

I don't mind either way since we get the Scott, but after the entire discussion yesterday, I thought the 75mm M3 gun was better

You stare at it longingly until you turn the corner into your bathroom.

Okay, hat it is. You're not the sort of person who wears hats so you only have one.
You dress in your casual clothes. Jeans, t-shirt, it's warm enough for that. OH WAIT BUT CRAP! YOUR TRYING TO NOT BE NORMAL. Okay, okay, quick quick quick what can I wear...

...Okay, yep.

You step outside, the sun greeting you as you face the day! The winds picks up and catches on your long sleeves of your undershirt, the t-shirt on top pointedly less affected. It's not too warm so you feel pretty comfortable wearing your grey winter toque. It's a different look.

Not normally someone who goes downtown, you have no idea where to start.

Ah! Skor bars are on sale! You pick up three and take a leisurely stroll around. Are Wal-Marts supposed to be this empty? Well, it is morning I guess, who'd want to shop in the morning?

Wow, a lot of stuff here is cheap. Wow, a lot of stuff here feels cheap. Okay, that's enough, this place is boring and smells like piss.
