My health hasn’t been the best lately, but I’ll try my best to give a good update.
>>
15th day of prophecy, 12:00 pm, inside the northern capital of the Rahall clan.

News travels fast indeed; with a vast majority of inhabitants displaced it wouldn’t be farfetched to assume the main route to be consistently congested of bodies all the way up toward the royal manor but the halberdiers stood as a silent, solid wall for the curious onlookers as your group – now clearly transformed into a proper diplomatic delegation – (everyone stiffening accordingly with all these stares), proceeded further north toward the big mansion as the atmosphere changed completely, Ame stopped leaning on you for support to stand on her own two feet despite the wounds while Bletsia tried her best to look as non-assuming as possible, half hiding herself between Rhy and the long robbed form of the Demon Lord turned pilgrim. Rumors and speeches made its way to your ears, people spoke openly about the war and the wounds of the gray fluffy queen, slowly spreading a dreadful atmosphere thank to the combination of foreign army and an overall sentiment of loss due to the recent, bloody siege; the sudden arrival of the Wyvern Knight Order may have been welcome at first, but now people were clearly wondering about the immediate future all the way until their voices were muffled by the soldiers dispersing the crowd gently.

The large courtyard leading to the entrance of the mansion saw much activity reminiscent of the working bees in Hrotio fortress, soldiers and citizens alike busily moved broken weapons in an ever increasing pile of damaged metals which also saw armors jutting out here and there, the entire space of the barracks had been repurposed to habitats for the armed forces, some five man squads were listening to their superiors as they were about to spread out inside the city, you tried your best to spot some familiar face but instead they came to make themselves known.
>>
‘’Please pardon our lack of facilities, if we’d known the queen of Inner Zipangu would grace our city with her presence we’d have made some better accommodation’’

It was a dignified, strong voice that resonated with a tone of familiarity; a smile crept up on your face as Ame acknowledged the female cat; semi-long white hair and big blue eyes along with her pretty face hardened by harsh realities gave the regent probably a decade of age, Rhy (who was safely sandwiched between you and Zechariah when Bletsia silently elected to keep the Demon Lord company) took an audible intake of breath, you could almost see the ball of stress knotting her stomach disappears in these short, few seconds. You’ve been afraid the little slime would somehow be hard to live in this thoroughly serious moment, fortunately the small creature was silently clinging to the shoulder of the swordsman whose sentiment of feeling out of place was worn on his sleeves.

‘’We’ll take any hospitality you can spare, this war force us to move fast and cast aside politeness; I suppose your mansion is now housing a certain king?’’

With a thoroughly impersonal and near-arrogant tone, Ame responded while shifting her tails slightly as everyone else in the group stood as vigil and honor guards; only Hadraniel showed the proper decorum, everyone else (including you) were garbed in efficient armors certainly not adequate for ceremony or meeting a foreign ruler.

‘’Yes, he and his retinue are waiting in one of the commune room, as he didn’t want to impose himself in the throne room’’
>>
The regent looked much more tired than stressed; somber bags nestled under her eyes and she had to fight back several yawns after the abrupt speech, her gaze moved several time toward Zechariah who tried his best to avoid acknowledging anything… then turned her attention toward Rhy. The small catgirl threw down the hood covering her head and clutched her crutch to stand without Daiyu support, trying her best to avoid trembling despite missing half a leg and right eye.

‘’I... I’ll be assisting this meeting’’

For once, she spoke without her near eternal tone of fear which prompted a smile on her cousin who answered with a curt ‘’of course’’ before gesturing for a pair of soldiers that, in turn, walked toward the big closed open wooden doors leading into the massive hall of the royal mansion, you couldn’t help but feel some anticipation; you certainly didn’t go this way the first time you were here… and Sylphis was feeling quite agitated, when you glanced to see a problem you were only greeted by her peeking fingers gripping into the rain cloak concealing her body as she moved toward the rear of the group to gaze incessantly into the sea of soldiers.

--

‘’Fierce fighting…’’

Ame-no-Uzume voice resonated into this magnificent main hall; big enough to not only please but easily overshadow all the welcoming rooms you’ve seen so far in Zipangu, most of the rooms were unfortunately blocked off on account of fallen debris, the big chandeliers that had previously been suspend in splendor was crashed down and the debris were still all over, traces of holes on the roof itself told silent tales of the fight and the angels belligerence, much of the furniture had also disappeared leaving the broken ceramics cracked and devoid of proper decorum; thankfully there weren’t any trace of blood however the silent tale of the ravaged hall was enough to mirror the fluffy queen remark.
>>
Three spiraling set of stairs led to a second floor built out of marbles and stop this big, stony balcony you could finally observe some individuals alien to this land; a few pairs of plated knight stood here and there with wyverns, the monsters possessed a tall, elegant, thin form that had them tower over their riders; other than that they looked surprisingly similar to Athena with a set of scales varying in colors and lengths with pairs of wings folded neatly around their bodies, with only a few large, protruding claws from the tips acting as fingers. A complete and total absence of arms, this however made the strangely green and apparently scaled appendages look all the more majestic – and impossible for flight-. Each of these monsters were also garbed in varying clothes, from leather to simple cotton seen on commoner, a complete and total absence of pricy decorum and armor seen on the riders whose faces were concealed inside the closed, rune helmet usually decorated by fur or horns, none of these knights appeared armed but there was no doubt about their skills, if anything the shape shifting wyverns alone hold enough power for a fearsome reckoning.

‘’He’s on the second floor, around twenty of these knights stayed as honor guards along with three of his special guests, would you like some time to rest before meeting king Gil Rosario?’’

Ran Rahall broke the silence of the hall; while furniture weren’t quite available Ame wounds were taxing her stamina and right now she could only put up a brave front, beads of sweat appeared on her face and her jaw tightened constantly while her dark ears laid flat atop her head, her gaze traveled across the entire company and settled slightly on Zechariah upon Zechariah, whereupon she gave a slight, nearly discouraged sighs.
>>
‘’My only guests would be Siegfried, his own bodyguard and the pilgrim, these bodyguards of mine are free to go where they please, I hope?’’

A simple ‘’of course’’ seem to rob quite a lot of tension and the group finally started dispersing, with the slime being the first one to break the silence with a remark about ‘’stuck up nobles’’ and ‘’years’’.

‘’I’ll take a little time to rest up before proceeding, mister Shieffer…’’

Ame-no-Uzume gestured toward you and of course, you obliged to walk to her side properly once Daiyu took place at her flank; you spotted Bletsia trying her best to appear small and out of the way, thankfully the soldiers still inside were too busy to glance and judge the presence of an Oomukade inside the royal ground.

‘’…You’ve lived in Gwynedd, what do you have to say about Gil Rosario?’’

‘’He…’’

Mylen quickly interjected only to stop quickly upon meeting the eyes of the rulers and Demon Lord; she shook her head to dismiss her thought and simply stepped back while fiddling with her spear, gently slapping your thigh with the staff.
You don’t know much, if anything, about this big brother of yours amnesia or not you never interacted with him in the first place; while present during the forging alliance with Tsukiyomi you can’t exactly say you know much about the man, even so what kind of advice would you like to give the fluffy queen?

>(This is more or less a chance to prepare before the meeting, we can get straight to it if you gentlemen wishes)

Might as well tell her what little we know. He's big, buff, stern, probably a fair, just, and kind ruler else the people wouldn't have rallied behind him when most of the nobility decided to turn traitor because of filthy lies which were actually true apparently.

Seems like a good man. Still, king, politician, always be careful. Everyone here has more than a few irons in the fire, kings and queens doubly so.

>>30394932
We made those eggs so a nice gel cushion with a solid, dry membrane to keep from messing up her tails and such may be possible. If it is and we can't find a nice chair I say do it, a queen should sit in comfort.

Yep, it was. He had a monster lover, a catgirl Rhy aunt but most of the people of Gwynedd didn't mind too much, especially after the purge. They had enough of seeing innocent monsters that totally weren't what the church made them up to be die.

How can you not love the cute little kittens? They're so sweet and those ears are fluffy. Seriously how can anyone hate on the monstergirls? So much cute.

I do wonder about the Zipangu faith and its little ins and outs, same with the church. Fantasy religion is something I like discussing.
>>
>>30395565

Zipangu is sort of a mix between the church reverence of Father Sky & Mother Earth with obvious preferrence toward Lady Gaia and a worship of ancestors, more or less put toward the sleeping water dragon; this engineer a belief going like ''I am ready to suffer so the next generation doesn't''.

Religion is a big deal of course and that angle will be covered

It always is. Can't wait for it to be covered. I feel so bad for that poor poor Ryu, forced into slumber so she doesn't rape everything in sight.

Poor thing, taking one for the whole country she is. Hope we find a cure for corruption one day. If only because a Ryu makes a great waifu.

On another front, do Incubi retain any higher mental functions if the corrupter wishes it? Powerful mages and great swordsmen make great husbands for those of demonic inclinement, but they have brains, they have to know keeping those skills and a presence of mind for a fight in that new fuck toy would be all kinds of useful and prudent. After all, you got a bunch of religious fanatics running about with a desire for dead demons and Incubi. Can't have him trying to stick the wrong kind of lance into the ass of an inquisitor when they come knocking at the door. God knows they won't.

>On another front, do Incubi retain any higher mental functions if the corrupter wishes it?

No. The corruptions of individuals that do not wish that faith has to be done very, very carefully because drowning them in black tar would result in a mindless, pleasure seeking ghoul. Succubus need to give the mwhat they want - or the illusion of it- so the Incubus can actually be useful for something other than sex.

Takes a bit more effort than ''Come join the Dark side''

So a killy fuck toy is a big investment then? Geez, no wonder Deruella's pissed about Noscrim, that was a lot of work we flushed down the toilet on top of the other stuff.

Had we not intervened I guess Mylen would have shared a similar fate. Dose her to the edge, then very carefully finish out the corruption so she doesn't turn into "merely" a rape machine.
>>
Creating a solid chair of ice without risk of frostbite was a simple task; you embraced Focus and made a nice, big throne-like chair for the weakening fluffy one while gallantly placing your cloak as makeshift cushion; the nice piece of crystallised furniture was as symmetric as you could imagine for a chair and Ame simply gazed at you in amusement as you finished this little game with a nice, gallant gesture.

‘’It’s good to be the favorite’’

She remarked with a smile while rolling a strand of hair around her finger, small coquettish smile gracing her feature nicely, giving a rather unique expression of youthful childishness thank to the bandaged eye patch. You made sure to maneuver and get back to the main topic.

‘’I can only say that he gave me the impression of being a stern man, Mylen would give a better opinion’’

The long raven haired woman closed her eyes when everyone else looked at her curiously save for the trio of bodyguard glancing at the upstairs wyverns in single minded curiosity, she took her time to form her thought and nailed Ame with a strong stair; perhaps the very first time she ever truly regarded the fluffy queen with anything but passing interest.

‘’Ruthless in his pursuit of his dream and vision, that’s the only impression I have after the past and conflicts he watched from the sideline while Siegfried thrust his very soul for the good of the country.’’

Her bitterness was almost dripping; Mylen was talking of the purge without mentioning outright and she was right on all account; Gil did not intervene even when the Baron of the eastern forest army and family were nearly slaughtered to a man by the growing militia, effectively ending their power and motivating the intervention of your fine soldiers, creating the most bitter fights of your life, civil war be damned.

All this while the main authority of the king didn’t acknowledge the killings that heralded the blossoming civil war…
>>
Mylen opinion is easy to decipher; she believes that this blond haired big brother has a lot to answers for; it’s a very easy thing to agree with.

‘’I see, I won’t pretend to know what to expect but… let’s go’’

A mere five minutes break, barely enough to sit for a few breaths and Ame-no-Uzume already stood up, masking the difficulty and strained muscles with a perfect mask of steel, flicking her tails toward you for emphasis and you obeyed by reluctantly unsummoning the chair and letting go of Focus.

‘’This way, upstairs’’

The spiral columns leading to the second floor are going to be trial for the poor fluffy one and you silently elect to help her as Zechariah, Hadraniel, Athena and Sylphis give you a near simultaneous good luck.

--

The doors opened by the knights gave view to a surprisingly small inner room between another set of double doors, a little small hall for security and last ditch preparation efforts; a single person stood there, foreign to Zipangu and Gwynedd alike; you could only stare in brief wonder and couldn’t resist smiling from ears to ears as Ame ears twitched in confusion, especially when the large form of the muscled woman became rather… overtly familiar.

‘’Oh! We’ll I’ll be damned!’’
>>

With a height of an exact two meters and an axe big enough to rival half the length of your torso, a musclebound beast woman roared in laugher soon after crossing your eyes, a set of horns extended from the side of her head to curve upward with the left one cut at the middle and a cute little rose ribbons attached around its crippled form; ring mail armor covered the entirety of her upper body with the legs finishing in a larger pair of protective reinforced leather pants. The armor certainly didn’t conceal the Minotaurus large… feminine forms and now her hands extended beside her in overt happiness, completely and utterly ignoring the flabbergasted cats, Kumiho and Succubus to step toward you while leaving the big, big axe resting on the wall.

‘’Actually made it out alive and accompanying a queen to boot! Where’s the young, vulnerable lad I clutched gently in my big protective arms as he was burning up? You look positively dapper, Sigismund!’’

The way she was speaking and gesturing (outstretching arms in your direction); you’d swear she was inviting you in a hug. You could feel your cheeks color slightly at the stares of a certain pair of women and cleared your throat- awkwardly- as the Minotaurus bellowed in laughter.

What do you do, mister Shieffer?

‘’It’s great to see you again Tia’’

You wiggle out of Ame side with Mylen quick to flank you, stopping midway to the tall warrior and instead of jumping for a hug and hear complaints non-stop in the future, you extend your arm toward the mercenary and she take it eagerly, nearly crushing your poor limb with enthusiasm as she let out a large huff through her nostril while smiling broadly in over eager friendliness as she detailed the rest of the procession… and forcefully pulled you into a hug, smothering you under hard scales and letting go just as fast when Mylen cleared her throat.

‘’Protocols keep me from spending too much time catching but I’d like to ask; has your band accompanied you?’’

You did your best to mask the pain in your voice, Minotaurus are strong, over eager monsters that’s for sure; always lively and brightening up the place with large guffaw, nearly embodying the very concepts of amazon and barbarians; it’s a good thing that Tia showed herself as the honorable kind.

‘’Aye, they did, hell it’s a long story but mister King behind here…’’

She stops to gesture toward the doors with her thumb as she rubs your head with her big hand.

‘’…went and made us into a right proper special squad supporting his red cloaks, the past two weeks were hectic; no pause after smashing Ferdinand fortress, no no… but well’’

She trailed off as she cross eyes with the rest of the women, Ame being the first one to warm up and step closer to the woman.
>>
‘’Old friends?’’

She asked while slithered a few tails around your body with one other enrolling Tia wrist, prompting a confused stare from the both of you.

‘’She saved my life when Athena and Sylphis were sent to get me back in Gwynedd.’’
‘’Please now! I didn’t do nothing, simply carry you like a nurse and raced to the city as you were being cute and vulnerable, nothing to brag about!’’

A burning, suffering mage can be described as cute and vulnerable…?

However, Tia face soon fell into something serious as she eyed you and Ame, her voice dropping into whisper.

‘’Gil got two guests with him, monsters by the look of it, important figures of the country I’d say. Keep yerself alerts, I dunno who they are but they must be a big deal’’

Would you like details, or jump into the maw of the lion forthwith?
>>
>>30397489
"Oh, we were expecting it, but any information you could give us to help prepare mentally would be a help."
>>
>>30397489
I thought her name was Tian. Oh well, information is power, best get some more of it. And I suppose we should tell her our real name, she'll find out eventually, might as well be from the man himself.

"We were expecting that, but any information you can give us about them would really help. Also, I remembered my real name after I left so you deserve a proper introduction. I am Siegfried Shieffer, and it is a pleasure to see you again."
>>
>>30397707

SHIT I do beleive it was, Either Tian of the Tia mercenary sisters or backward; overtly simple name are hard to keep track of.
>>
"Oh, we were expecting it, but any information you could give us to help prepare mentally would be a help."

‘’Aight…’’

Slowly, the near-lumbering Minotaurus walked back toward her seat, tuning her back to you as she appeared deep in thought; her tails flicked back behind her constantly and almost motivated you to grab it, you never had the pleasure of touching the appendages of a creatures of the ‘’rus’’ family yet and it’d be… quite a pleasure indeed; unfortunately all hopes dashed away when Tian turned around, always smiling.

‘’One of them is a dragon, hell me, my sisters, the king and his special forces… we all made it here when she went and shape shifted into the biggest, awesome flying lizard of yonder I ever saw; much more friendly than the other too although before this stunt I picture her as some kind of lazy girl that the king put too much faith in or pity, since she’s blind; girl got scales extending all the way into her eyes socket an’ all, aint got nothing to see. Said her name was…’’

‘’Fendall’’

You and Mylen not only twitched simultaneously halfway through the woman explanation but finished her speech in synch, a cold, cold sweat of pure awe washed over the two of you and the only thing that broke the sentiment was Ame when she rolled two tails around yours and Mylen necks, rubbing your flesh gently as she silently asked an explanation while Tian rubbed the back of her head, obviously feeling guilty.

‘’The great blind, hermit dragon of the mountain; predate our country, the first dynasty… she’s seen as a guardian and potential threat all at once and we’ve left her alone for ages and she, in turn, did the same.’’

Mylen was well versed in the lore of Gwynedd, better than you on most aspect; however here, you had to make a little addendum.

‘’Not quite, my uncle struck a few deals with her along with some royalists, it’s an old story but… apparently Gil father…’’
>>
Perhaps you ought to say ‘’my father’’ but everything related to him is a near unknown; you knew very well of his politics and grimly end but who he was as a person, as a parent, is entirely foreign.

‘’…was rather adamant in reaching out to her but that’s about as far as I know, she certainly never showed her face during the Purge or civil war but now, the all-mighty dragon of the highest mountain of my country is lounging with my brother?’’

Ame closed her eyes and nodded, obviously deep in thoughts, you may think of Zipangu as your home now but you certainly know about the popular mythos of the land of your birth; Fendall was never stated as the strongest dragon, but her tenaciousness and age made a proverb in the military. ‘’As long as the dragon sleep we have no worry for wars’’.

‘’Well…’’

The Minotaurus, again, scratched the back of her head, the pair of cats walked all the way toward the door, Rhy obviously slightly distraught the small leader still put on a brave face out of pure stubbornness and newfound pride; the small interruption caused an increasing silence that was, again, broken by the tall warrior.

‘’…the other is the real problem. Never told her name, never bothered to look at much of anyone in the eyes; she got one hell of a freaky aura and everywhere she stand tend to freeze over; hell her breath itself is always, always cold it’s as if she aint human, did call herself a snow woman thought, matron Yukionna or some-‘’

‘’You’ve got to be shitting me!’’

Again, your usually stoic bodyguard interrupted the friendly Tian, this time in a burst of anger; for your part, you merely felt your blood run cold and a stab in the heart. You know very, very well whom it is she’s speaking off.

‘’Let’s just sit this one out, who the hell does Gil think he is by unearthing this…Pah!’’

‘’Mylen… Siegfried, explain yourselves’’
>>
You felt a pang of guilt when the Minotaurus looked like a wounded puppy; she quickly elected by staying silent and put her hands to her face, grumbling some words of excuses for making you feel so upset.

‘’Cadhla, matron of the Yukionna. To make a long story short…’’

You interrupted Mylen by grabbing her sleeves, in turn she snarled and dug her nails into your flesh; old ugly memories of the Purge surfacing, you did your best to look at your Queen with a total absence of emotions else the guilt crush you on the spot; even if you liked to pretend that you forgave yourself by saving Amarantha… it’s not that easy.’’

‘’She was the one providing with logistics and stronghold for the rebel militia during the Purge and the main instigator for getting rid and putting the baron cutting her forest to the sword in retaliation for his own massacre of monster kind. She hates human with every fibers of her being and I long, long suspected she was close to losing her entire humanity’’

‘’A past foe?’’

You nodded, wincing, doing your best to avoid massaging your heart.

‘’I don’t think we’d do much good for the negotiation with THAT woman around’’

Mylen was obviously very, very upset and for good reason; for your part, you simply felt crushing guilt however, with these information are you ready to step into this negotiation, mister Shieffer or elect to do something else?
>>
>>30398457
Just trying to recall... this isn't our old Yukkionna friend? it's someone who was hurt by our actions during the Purge way back when?
>>
>>30398597

It's not, she'd pretty much THE authority amidst Yukionna and monsters, an old foe of the Purge that you hurt and hurt you in turn; utterly merciless and jsut about as scary as the Blood Maiden. She doesn't like you and of course, Mylen hate her in turn, think of her as an old enemy of war that pretty much tried to avenge massacres with massacres of her own, but thankfully was kept somewhat in line by... a certain someone.
>>
>>30398650
Gotcha. So the chances of her demanding our head on a platter for peace is fairly high I take it?
>>
>>30398763

Definetly but you can't really say you know her; you have history as enemies and that's about it. She was active and survived the pruge, like you; not a whole lot of monsters that took arms did.

Oh... Oh shit, I'm betting she isn't going to buy the whole "I've changed" thing is she. We're wearing that armor we got not too long ago and ice plate is pretty much instant cast yes?

Also, first chance, she gets scanned. If she hates us she may well join with Deruella willingly just to fuck us. I do hope she can see reason through the hate, but I'm not taking any chances. Assume she's working with the enemy until proven otherwise.

We could just leave it to Ame and recuse ourselves from the discussions, but the issue of "So who is Ame going to marry to solidify this alliance?" will come up eventually and then Siggy's name will get dropped and she'll explode with rage and hate anyway.

There's really no avoiding this, so we might as well get it over with now rather than later.

Not much we can do about her fuming that we are apart of this alliance. The best thing we can do is be sincere in our wanting to help the people of Zipangu and over time convince her we changed. Lets head on in and bring our best diplomatic face.
>>
>>30399144

>>30399031 here, an alliance isn't set in stone until the bonds of matrimony have been well and thoroughly sealed. She's going to ask about that and if she isn't told she won't be happy and won't negotiate further until they fess up. If she's told she won't be happy because she hates Siggy.

In short, there is no good way out of this little predicament. We can only hope we do a good job of playing the game of politics.

Also. You know what would be hilarious and evil? if this was all a ploy by our brother. Everything we've been through? False memories, planted for the mission. The purges are real, the rest is all to get the leadership of Zipangu and other major monster leaders all into one room and then BOOM! He says the trigger word and everyone gets a free icy throat piercing.

That would require some form of charm magic, and at least one target in the room would not be taken by surprise and DODGE.

Coin flip on who she goes for after that, could be us, or she could go Gil then us. She'll get us either way, but that key word would be rather obvious and nobody likes being played.

In short, it's a very stupid move as that plot is risky as all hell and Tsu survives either way. Far as she'd be concerned Gil killed Ame. His suffering would be legendary once she got her hands on him and she'd burn all of his kingdom to ashes and put all his cities to the sword if it was the last thing she did.

Don't piss off a Tenko, it doesn't end well for you. Now if Tsu was here with us you'd have a good plan. But she ain't. See, you have to get them *all* in one shot, because you ain't getting another.

Mylen let out a long, discouraged sigh and gently squeezed Ame fluffy appendage to liberate her neck; her silence was her answer to your remark, with grim resolution she simply tapped the end of her spear on the floor as you walked toward Tian, Ame nodded at you with a smile, looking positively proud and beaming; obviously she want you to face old demons, diplomacy be damned.

‘’Thank Tian, I’d love to catch up later’’

You gave her head a little pat and the Minotaurus cheered up, huffing her chest and nodding, responding with a curt ‘’anytime!’’ and, giving a glance toward Rhy and Ran, the pair of cats were patiently silent all this while the crippled head of clan looked at you with a mixture of empathy and genuine care, the words ‘’You don’t have to come’’ were written all over her face and you simply grinned to give some comfort while Ame-no-Uzume walked to your front, massing her bandaged thigh and fiddling with her eye patch before finally giving a curt nod to the tired regent who solemnly opened the two doors; putting her entire weight and muscles for a smooth opening.

Again, gotta be sure. At that level they're practically gods, and gods don't die as easy as people and monsters. Hell, they have this annoying habit of coming back from the dead. So you don't sleep until that body is burned and its ashes scattered at separate points far away from each other. If they've been known to have dominion or control over ashes you put them in several sealed pots and bury them at those points instead. No. Chances.

This particular room had definitely been spared much of the battle; no kind of ruined or scratched floors gave hints to the past struggles and a big desk laid right in the middle, a big rectangular piece of wood polished to mirror sheen, more than large enough to hold a near banquet of its own, comfortable-looking chairs were lining up along its length for a near total of nine on both side, other piece of furniture had also been laid here and there, with a few big, comfortable mattress laid there with tapestry of the Rahall clan as decoration, one person was laying atop them, sprawled with total over familiarity, bright green scales and monstrous hands finishing in claws betraying the monstrous, lizard lineage that was, in retrospect, entirely different from the likes of Athena or other salamander. A pair of big, green scaly wings extended from her shoulder blades to mask the upper part of her body; both appendages looked much too big and thick to allow proper flight, the scales didn’t appear to give way to skin and, for all intend and purpose, were armors in their own right. Her feet also ended in big, monstrous, green colored part that almost looked comical compared to the rest of her nicely shaped, human body; little green horns jutted out behind her head here and there as the scales finished all the way up to her ears, giving the illusion of a protective helmet.

Twin columns of fire extended from her nostrils as the dragon, apparently previously asleep, nearly jumped out of her makeshift bed; Tian was right in calling her blind for, in the area where the eye socket of a normal human being would be, was merely a blanket of small dark scales; blanketing her eyes and effectively making her blind, the large scaly tails behind her constantly tapped the ground gently as she silently walked toward the table with a smile in-between smug and satisfied.
>>
There’s no doubt about it; a bonafide dragon was in the palace right down to the wings and absolutely faithful to the old tales of Fendall description following the rise of Daiyu Jawahir, whose presence was nice and quiet almost ghost like behind everyone else and, apparently, was laid back enough to sleep before important diplomacy between nations.

‘’Ah, welcome Rhy Rahall, head of this fine, fine clans, I extend the same greeting to you Ran, regent and second only to your liege; I’m honored to finally meet queen Ame-no-Uzume of Inner Zipangu and finally put the needed pillars to this alliance’’

That was definitely too much sugar coating yet Gil managed to let flow this sentence without a single drip of sarcasm, the tall broad chested body of your big brother was the only one standing between his guests and evidently, he didn’t have time to move out of his armor; glistening plates shone in white thank to the alchemical lamps and his long blond hair fell down his neck right into the middle of his back; projecting an image of noble king and free barbarian, a very, very different looking person than you of course, you’ve been often described to look just like your mother aside from the hair.

Well… back when she was still mortal.

‘’Your troops already fought and died to liberate this land from the yoke of angels and for this, I extend my gratitude to you, your guests and your citizen, king Gil Rosario.’’

You sat only once Ame did with Rhy beside her, you took the other flanks and Mylen promptly sat beside you, Daiyu silently elected to face the last guest and finally, with the few exchanges and polite introductions of the leader’s retinue, you gave the last person a look.

Cadhla, Yukionna matron of the eastern forest refuge was a women going beyond the title of ‘’icequeen’’. Small in stature and height, any prospective warriors could easily pretend to break her in two but the sheer, raw dread and near-inhumanity projected by this woman was enough to knot your stomach; long, long dark hair as beautiful as Mylen’s flowed down her back and above her shoulders in a single minded cascade of gorgeous, dark silk. She put a distance of two seats between Gil for good reason; the very wood under her touch was icing over by the seconds and the chair she was using had already morphed into pure, gorgeous crystal ice and already half of the nearest chair was transforming, conquered by the constant magic of her body and aura; her ice were dark colored orbs as beautiful – and empty- as crystal. Utterly transparent yet nearly innately inhuman, her gaze was on you and you alone and no hints of emotions were projected; she merely watched in cool, nay frozen silence just about ready to abandon what was left of her humanity.

A… different woman from the one you met; that’s what the impression Cadhla left you sitting on this table. A monster ready to cast off the last figment of her human half.

Do you…

>feel a pang of empathy?

>Hatred for what happened in the Purge?

>Nothing, nothing at all; the guilt exhausted you.
>>
When Gil sat back down, you concentrate back on your brother and spot a shining on his hip form the pommel of a sword nesting inside, for some reason you couldn’t help but feel a sense of familiarity and glanced at your own Holy Sword, kept with you until Leila recuperated.

…you should find some time to tell Tian that she’ll be able to see the Purifier again.

‘’Now, my troops snuck through the northern pass and landed on the second, snowy coast of Zipangu but I still think it’s too passive; the Church haven’t quite managed to land their full army and if we were to strike from the water and ground simultaneously we could knock them out forthwith and force the battle either in Gwynedd, or the ocean; what kind of strategy have you been employing?’’

Obviously, Ame could answer but for some reason she glanced toward you, nudging you to speak with your brother. Gwynedd had completely revamped their navies in the past few years, it’s absolutely true that a combined naval and land assault would put a quick end to the war; such a thing happened in the previous loops.

Do you have anything to say to this strategy?
>>

We were the one who forced her to that state, and we did things as bad as her. We were lucky enough to have our memory wiped and could become a better man, while she is how we were before our memory loss.

Agree with our brother. Its imperative that we cut off the logistical supply line of the Church, take down their reinforcements, and attack where they will have trouble defending.
But I'm concerned about possible angel counterattacks, and that the Crusade might set up a teleportation ring large enough to use as a secondary supply line.
>>

The main problem with such an assault would be the angels.

For it to work without the navy taking astronomical casualty's your going to need one hell of a distraction on land.

We got vital intel they need to hear and incorporate into their plans. So it's time to spill the beans.

"Before we do anything I have information that should be heard by all of you. The High General wants to sue for peace and Ahriman Edan, the man that would have prevented that, is dead by my hand.

We must also be weary of two other individuals. Orion, the Embodiment of Strife, is on the island and taking part in the battles and he brought his holy weapon with him. I believe he'll use it despite poor positioning if he believes the Church is about to be defeated. There is also the machinations of Deruella, she's here too for reasons I don't know, but she recently acquired a powerful weapon, the knife of induced death. It was stolen by an agent of hers right in front of me before I finished off its previous owner, Ahriman.Trust me he was no fool, if she managed to dupe him she has certainly duped us. The activation of the Golem Army almost went south because someone sabotaged the activation stones. There is a traitor in our midst, and it could be anyone. We have to be very careful moving forward."
>>
>>30401514
No, shut up to all of this.
First, Led isn't going to just sue for peace, not when he still has a chance at winning. He will simply treat in good faith for peace when he is forced to do so. Killing Ahriman was just him getting rid of someone who would have backstabber him.
As for the information regarding the sleeper agents, that can be said better, later, after we're in a place that the Demon Lord has deemed secure.

I wasn't making any suggestions, that whole spiel is just revealing what we know and cautioning everyone to be very careful. Intel wins wars son.

Though you are right perhaps we should hold back a bit. They don't need to know Lex wants peace yet, that can come after we have done our scans. If that ain't what Deruella wants she might get him anyway and we worked too hard to see him alive.

We do have to reveal that the weapon is here with Orion and that we have a traitor. These are things that Deruella would already know to begin with anyway. Kinda revealed her hand a bit at the stones.
>>
>>30401771
You weren't making suggestions? You were suggesting we spill everything here when we haven't secure this room or even done the security sweeps with Daiyu yet. And on top of that you made no mention of our brother's plan, which is the one thing that the people here were waiting on. Intel wins wars, and spilling intel loses them, so stay silent.
>>
Try as you might to keep the Yukionna out of mind, pang of empathy constantly sneak into your heart, provoking a little hand squeeze from your bodyguard until you clear your throat after your brother’s words; the only certainty you have about his strategy come from the loops; a victory yes but at what cost and, more importantly, what could have caused the end of that peculiar path? It couldn’t have been as simple as your death, there’s always more going on… but offense is an obvious Gwynedd preference, soldiers of your land of harsh winters were always best on the attack.

‘’Cutting off the supply lines of our enemies connecting them with the mainland is a sound but risky strategy made even worse with the presence of the angels. Are you ready to risk potentially catastrophic casualties if things go wrong, if the angels were to steer their full might on your ships?’’

A smile spread upon your brother face, your words weren’t discarded but it’s obvious he thought this through; he gave you, Rhy and Ame a stare before nodding as his smile vanished.

‘’Yukionna easily rivals water mage, if the worse come to worse Cadhla and her allies will either pull through, or the soldiers of Gwynedd will die in this gambit.’’

The ice woman didn’t even acknowledge the words of the kings, the woman merely stayed unmoving like a statue, as if completely and utterly frozen over, neither glancing nor breathing. You have no idea how you managed to avoid wincing.

‘’If we were to press our foes too hard, they would detonate their Holy weapon without a doubt’’

Ame cut straight into the matters, fiddling with one of her tails as Gil winced from the sentence and the dragon growled, muttering audibly ‘’they moved the damn thing without securing the coast…’’.

‘’Rushing ahead is foolhardy, but holding in fear is just as stupid; I’ve never fought their general-champion on the field but I know he wouldn’t detonate it if at all possible but… Hmm…’’

You know that Lex is obviously seeking peace but in order to attain it; the church has to lose but they are proud «dispenser of civilisation» and no single man charisma can possibly outweigh the sheer, utter frustration of a total loss and following demand to take the enemies down with you; if there’s one thing the Crusade proved, it’s that humanity has guts.

‘’I huh…. Um… C-can I…’’

The small voice of the white cat ruler of the Rahall clan broke the silence and she trembled under the heavy stares of everyone; even Cadhla actually shifted toward the little one, as if suddenly realizing her presence; Gil and Ame were nearly simultaneous in encouraging her forward with strange warmth, a clear clash with this obviously important strategic meeting; the two rulers have yet to bother with the politic surrounding the alliance, for all intent and purpose it’s already cemented.

‘’How about we… neutralize or... or steal that weapon? W-we have… we have mantis Order, red cloaks, and knights of subterfuges a-and… t-the pilgrim can help too… D-don’t we have the forces to do it? I-I have a gift, too I can direct the progress directly…’’

Anything to say, mister Shieffer?

If it's possible to steal or disarm the damned thing that'd solve a LOT of problems on our side. But it'll be risky business, and I bet that after seeing Ahriman killed Orion sleeps next to the thing (if he even sleeps).

We'll definitely have to off the traitor before even attempting it. It has to completely blindside the church or it will fail. We'd only have one chance but if it worked it just might force a peace settlement and if stolen we'd have bait to lure Orion to a location of our choosing. Of course, stealing is harder than disabling or destroying it so safer bet is that.

We'd have to learn how in that event though, sending in what amounts to a monkey to pound on the thing with a rock isn't smart when dealing with a nuclear warhead.

Either way, it needs to be dealt with.

Every single one of the members of the team would need to be scanned by Daiyu, and we need her to sureptisciously scan this room NOW. We need to know, and unmask, any agents of Druella asap.
>>
>>30402422
I have to concur with this statement. Though Daiyu is smart so if she can do it surreptitiously I'm sure she's already on it.

She has to know that's one of the reasons we brought her back. We saved her primarily to keep the felwhore off the throne. The other reason would then logically be to put a stop to her plans.
>>
‘’I’d personally half of my army dead instead of my special forces getting slaughtered…’’

Gil certainly didn’t like this prospect, the dragon next to him smiled and laughed; catching everyone attention as a small jet of flame escaped her mouth, thankfully short lived.

‘’…You dynasty was founded on a dare, Mister Rosario’’

You took this little moment to glance toward the heavily masked pilgrim, Daiyu bright golden eyes were scanning the area constantly while she sat in total silence, facing the maiden of ice who, in turn looked toward the Demon Lord in total apathy; you have every reason not believe that Daiyu is smart enough to take advantage of the link, there wasn’t anything to betray a potential listener or traitor, no alarming emotions to put you on edge; this room was, at the very least, safe.

"Orion will undoubtedly have the weapon under heavy guard with his best angels.’’

Ame quickly interject, putting her bandaged hand on the table softly as her stance betrayed some fatigue.

‘’Siegfried fought the Embodiment of Strife in a storm, even with the help of the Embodiment of Love and the strongest of the heroes our squad was forced on the retreat; that angel cannot be underestimated’’

Cadhla finally bothered to move, a little crick resonated in the room as a piece of her chair broke into tiny shard, the girl put her elbow on the wooden table then rested her head on her fist as she watched you with full, total attention; sending a flutter of emotions down your chest that was thankfully calmed when Mylen squeezed your hand under the table – again - . Rhy had, of course grown silent again but the idea presented by the cat had a lot of merit indeed…

‘’Hmm, we’d have to move fast then, they have every reason to be completely reinforced within the next two days’’

However, the little ruler wasn’t quite done.

‘’U-um…’’

Again, everyone turned to observe the Rhy ruler, the regent slowly put her arm around the tiny shoulders of the cat for support.

‘’I… I think It’d be best i-if we allowed them to be reinforced. Lex is… smart right? He’d probably anticipate what were t-talking about, at least t-the advantage offered t-to us.’’
It’s true that Gwynedd sudden intervention and liberation of the Rahall capital was a complete and total surprise and that’s where it ends; now that your homeland revealed part of its hand the champion-general is obviously anticipating all kinds of scenario and Orion is no fool; you have the advantage now, every single soldiers think the same Zipangu –Gwynedd have the initiative and it’s undeniable Lex is planning and raising his defences, Gwynedd reinforced navy was a popular topic of discussion back in the days… and the source of much trade form Center and Church lands despite the rich forest.

Damnit, another blind choice. I see what Rhy's saying, Lex and Orion ain't stupid they know we want that damn thing gone. They know it'll be a key part of our strategy.

If we go before they receive reinforcements the guard around the thing will be quite heavy. The church wants to lick its wounds after the defeat we've handed them and they won't chance us dealing with the nuke before they've healed, which is likely exactly what they're expecting but their forces only number so much. Even if they "know" its coming they may be unable to stop it. Hell, Orion's probably sleeping next to the thing right now. If he's there kiss the sabotage team goodbye. We'd have to find a way to lure him out. He's gotta want Daiyu dead, leaking her location to the Church will likely trigger him and his honor guard and an army to go after it. I don't like using our people as bait but again there is only one shot at this.

If we wait there will be higher casualties on both sides but the guard may be weaker and Orion would be more likely to be on the front-lines instead of pulling guard duty. He seems the type to enjoy being in the thick of it not twattling his thumbs waiting for a fight to come to him if at all wise. We do have a fuck mothering dragon on our side now though, those reinforcements may wish they'd have stayed on the boats. Dragons man, they can fuck shit up.

I honestly don't know what to do at this point, no matter what it's a very risky gambit but one we're forced to make. We cannot allow that nuke to go off, no matter the cost.

I have to ask, aside from Emeth, was there another experimental golem worked up for the army? Y'know, the kind meant to be killy on a whole other level from the others. Where everything is made of magical killing potential like pic related is made of gun? Because anything like that would be a very big help.

Yes, quite a few were made to be extra killy and the ytend to be dispersed through the units as ''individual''.

Emeth will need to grow as a person to actually be strong enoug hto command more units tough.

I'm going to go with the waiting game.

The enemy is going to EXPECT an attack right now. They know where they are weak, they know where their most important assets are going to be. They're going to be able to set up a trap around the holy weapon based on this.

But the problem is, we don't actually WANT the holy weapon taken out. We want it SECURED and REMOVED from their control, so we can deploy it in the middle of the swamps and blow that corrupted area of land right away and promote trade.

Securing the holy weapon for ourselves is by far the best advantage.

But then we have another problem.

We know where the holy weapon actually is right now. When they are reinforced, we don't know where they'll move it to if they are reinforced. For all we know they'll move it forward with their vanguard and simply denotate the fucker as an alpha strike at the first battle, their own forced immune to it. They have no reason not to do so.

So the big question is.

Can we afford to wait for them to move the weapon? Or do we secure it at the first opportunity?
>>
>>30403497
I should mention that the first opportunity option will almost certainly be playing into the enemy's hands.

Honestly. I think that by far the best option is to erradicate their forces NOW. We send minimum required force to drive their armies off the shore, and if they detonate the bomb, the holy weapon, then it at the very least does the minimum possible damage.
>>
>>30403475
INH, how feasible is a teleportation circle-based supply line? Would Let and the Crusade be able to set up a permanent set of teleportation circles between their foothold on the Zipangu shore and s staging area back on the mainland?

Led is no fool, and he would try to use the ships of his reinforcements as a trap if he can.
>>
The third option then, is to blow away what remains of their forces before their reinforcements arrive. Using minimum necessary force, and if they detonate the holy weapon, the minimum amount of damage will be done.

So there we have it people.

We can go for the diversion, and almost certainly send the special forces into readied (if not as heavily prepared as they would like) defenses, attempting to completely disable or detonate the weapon early on if it can't be captured and brought back.

The second option is to go for the big battle. Sending a rear assault to take down the holy weapon from behind and hope that we can break the back of the crusade then and there.

The third option is to erradicate the scattered forces of the crusade before they can regroup and be reinforced, ignoring the holy weapon and tempting the crusade into detonating it in a situation where it'll do the least amount of damage.

And of course, there's a final option.

We somehow try and trick the crusade into bringing the battle to the corrupted, undead swamps, and we force them to detonate the holy weapon there.
>>
>>30403518
I agree with this anon, even if they know we are coming it would be wise to destroy the Holy weapon now instead of waiting for their reinforcements to arrive, we simply have to muster enough force to make sure of its destruction.
>>
>>30403622

It's feasible, but pretty damn hard to make; only mosnters mastered protals enough to move armies, humans need to make proepr, big circles but a supply line like that was used in Lescatie.

So yes, it's possible, but it's also pretty pricy.

Swamps bigger than a single nuke's blast, though it could clear a path where it is "thinnest" geographically.

>>30403518
Their ultimate plan is to plant the damn thing smack dab in the middle of the island and kill *every* last monstergirl in one shot. Detonating it early will mean failure to achieve optimum dispersion and the prospect of guerrilla warfare from the survivors. This land is also far off away from the human towns and other monster realms. They receive word of that nuke and its power they may well turn on humanity or direct their entire power towards heaven before they can build more. Every monster on the planet would surely rally to the cry of end the angels before they end us all.

If they are successful in their gambit... No word is sent. Everyone died, every monster anyway. The remaining humans can be easily "mopped up" and total control is achieved. You can just make up the other stuff, say they fought as harlots and the like. Orion will simply "deal" with anyone who thinks of spreading thee word. They also get information on blast radius, time it took to achieve full dispersal, ect... With that they'd be able to secretly build enough nukes to kill every last single monster on the planet. With one stroke, an entire sentient race would be eliminated.

There was a reason the allies didn't firebomb or even touch Hiroshima or Nagasaki, it was as much a weapons test as it was an act of war. They want their test, and Orion doesn't want to risk the gates of heaven being stormed by every monster on the planet. And his test, because INH said he likes SCIENCE.

Angels are good, but there's a funny thing about numbers. Get enough of them and good doesn't matter much anymore.

‘’To commit to an early strike and take advantage of our newly created window of opportunity and hope to be faster than the desperation of our enemies… Or to lure them into a false sense of security and likely create the biggest, bloodiest battle of this new age of cooperation between man and monsters…’’

Ame finally took words, having listened to the words and wisdoms of Rhy and the new ally, your past king and big brother Gil Rosario; if there’s one thing you can say about hi, it’s that he didn’t lie about committing to this alliance. It takes a truly special kind of man to willingly accept the death of his subject on a new ally. Ame bandaged arms slowly hovered upward and the palms held two small flames of pure blue, awakening Cadhla from her icy slumber.

‘’On one hand, a naval-land strike would be the perfect pincer maneuver, the water clans could be persuaded to join thank to Gil fleet…. But a strong navy would be invaluable in the years to come; if we suffer too much loss…’’
Her fist did the talking; Ame closed her hands, smothered the flame.

‘’The other suggest that our enemies lick their wounds and grow emboldened and we meet them face to face; no amount of influence or certainty is put forward, it’ll be the last desperate battle of this opening war, a crusade over before a single month as absolutely everything hover around the weapon of our enemy. We win or…’’

Her second hand closed swiftly, smothering the flame.

‘’Our agents will be put at unbelievable risk and likely outnumbered; only the bare minimum could be put to disrupt our enemies… special weapons on the field of battle itself; it’ll be a nightmarish fight even with the presence of the Monster Orders.’’
Finally, Ame hands opened again, forming two flames which quickly rose together in the air to join as one.

‘’…Or we lure them into detonating it where it’ll do the least amount of damage, we’ll have to move back our entire army of monsters and every units sent into the church camp with corrupted blood will die; I do not favor any options, my friends, but we will have to sin and break the trusts of our soldiers’’

Finally Ame stop conjuring and let out a long sigh as beads of sweats became apparent on her forehead, her wounds obviously tired her out fast.

‘’There is no certainty in wars so now, we have to decide the fate of our lands completely and thoroughly’’

Behind the back of your long haired brother, you saw the ephemeral flying of a golden butterfly.

So what you're saying is that even if they don't get it on the middle of the island, the dispersal area is going to obliterate enough of the island to make 'minimum possible damage' be a phyrric victory at best.

We can't afford to allow it to detonate at all.

Then the only option is an alpha strike NOW. We obliterate their forces with a distraction force large enough to actually force Orion out to face it. Because if he doesn't, the reinforcements won't have anything left to reinforce.

Then the special forces move in, we capture the bomb, and we get it the fuck away from the crusader forces.

Does this sound like a plan to everyone?

If there's one thing I can say, there's no certainty in war.

I sincerely hope this isn't seen as an unfair choice, at least I've given a good amount of time to give an adequate picture of the Church and Zipangu forces
>>
>>30403862
Secondly, we get the sea clans to begin harrying the incoming navy. No where NEAR enough to actually stop the reinforcements, but we fuck it up as much as possible. We take out straggling ships, we get a hurricane or two brewing to fuck with them. We slow them down. We force them to move closer together and at slower speed. We can delay the reinforcements for a while and give us more time.

A monster who can last with exposure to holy is going to have to go, they're not going to like it, and the exposure to it might just kill them in the long run. But they need to last long enough to teleport the bomb OUT of there and into the swamps, or near enough to a place we control there in order to blow it the fuck open at the narrowest area (making the world a better place and opening up trade in the process).

Anyway. Thoughts on this plan guys?

>>30403899
Not at all, it's a fair choice. It's just not an easy one.
>>
>>30403862
No. We need the Navy contingent to sink the reinforcements and force parts of the angel contingent to be diverted or have the Crusade lose due to no supplies and troops.
The combined Gwynedd-Zipangu army can then move towards the Crusade at the shore at the same time.
We need to force Orion to either spread his angels thin, or concentrate them in one place and let the Crusade fail.

Our golem army can then go after the device itself while the special forces go in first to draw most of the angel defenders away.
>>
>>30403977
This sounds reasonable, but we have to do it now. We have to go with what we can muster immediately, that might mean that obliterating their navy, rather than slowing it, will simply not be possible.
>>
>>30403960
Using one of Bletsia's pre-made teleportation scrolls is a nice idea, but it still has to be done by a high level mage. I don't think the scrolls allow just anyone to teleport, since the spell still has to be directed.

I'm planning to have the next thread by sunday or monday, so you guys have some time to plan things out. Let's just hope the thread last, worse for worse next thread start could be spent about the descision too.

>>30404075

Bletsia never went to the swamp so Ame or Tsu would need to make the scroll with her, inject their memories of an area in the swamp onto the magical scroll in order to create it and a mage need to be used to activate it, no if or buts, but at least the level of the person doesn't matter; you simply need to be able to Focus or Trance.
>>
>>30404122
If the scroll were to be placed on the bomb itself, would it teleport the bomb in its entirety, or does it only create a portal that you still have to push the bomb through?
>>
>>30404075
Then one of them has to go with it.

We can't, with any surity, disable the device. We need a fallback plan. We need to be able to get it OUT of zipangu and detonate it in an area where the only damage it will do is to an environment that never should have existed in the first place.

The other option is to drop it, armed and ready to detonate, into wherever the fuck Druella is camped out...

Do we know where Druella is camped out? Because that would be a hilarious 'fuck you'. But I doubt it would be that easy.

No, better to send a teleport team to bring it to the swamp, and blow a hole in the entire region.

That's the ONLy safe answer. The only SURE way of disabling the bomb in such a way that Orion and his ilk can't just change out some parts and arm it again.
>>
>>30404172

It create a portal, you'll need to step through with the object and the portal close after the caster goes through.

Or send in a human magus or group of them just to be sure, swamps a bad place but they won't be in it for very long. They can stop worrying and love the bomb as it won't kill them, but it will kill all the nasties thirsting for their blood within a very large radius. All they have to do is not die before they get to it.

>>30403991
Not immediately, the reinforcements don't arrive for two days. We can slow their coming with the help of the ice bitch that hates our guts. We need her scanned at first opportunity. She hates us, maybe enough to fuck this all up just to spite us.

We have to make sure she's truly on our side before we make a move. We've come to far to let an old grudge rob us of our victory.

Every single one of the women you love would volunteer for this mission. We both know this
>>
>>30404213
Then whoever is the caster had better not be a demon, or it'll be a suicide mission. They have to go through with the bomb.

Worse of all.

Guys.

We're going to have to send some monster girls with super strength. We have no idea how big the holy weapon is or how powerful it is. Golems at the very least will be necessary.

So the plan is this.

1) We send a large enough diversionary force to begin mopping up the scattered crusaders currently occupying the coast

2) the sea clans harrass the in coming navy. This forces Orion to spread his forces thin, and almost certainly to abandon the holy weapon himself if we can press him hard enough.

3) The strike teams move in, securing the bomb, and teleporting it into the swamp, detonating it as quickly as possible.

Well we'd only need one, the Embodiment of Love is really strong and is immune to the weapon. After all, she is a being based upon holy energy. It'd be like saying too much water would kill a fish. So long as it's the right kind of water, more is better as far as the fish is concerned.

Sadly, Orion probably won't leave unless she's in the vanguard fucking up his boys. She's killed 9 of them herself, he probably saw some of them die by her lance. I bet he's not too happy about that.

Siggy himself will likely not be in that group as, well, he does see us as a bigger threat than even Deruella. If we aren't on that battlefield he'll think there's a ploy going on. We need a full strike force for this. This isn't a surgical strike, it's a fully blown attack right behind the enemy lines while they're fully distracted.

We need to make DAMN sure it goes off. We cannot afford for it to NOT go off.

Also, it occurs to me that her shadow might very well attack under such circumstances... while we're leaving... and guess what'll happen to it if it's caught in the holy nuke blastwave that she herself triggers?

See, he kind of likes to make her the cause of the deaths of her friends and lovers. He needs to be dealt with before this operation commences so that doesn't happen.
>>
>>30404712

Nightmare will definetly act during this crucial point, yeah.

And holy does reinforce the body and tend to go out of control when the mage is dying, resulting in this feat from Ahriman. A body shutting down in death panics and magic itselfs grows weirder.

>>30404699

You make it sound like they are a threat to your romantic dominion.
>>
>>30404712
>See, he kind of likes to make her the cause of the deaths of her friends and lovers. He needs to be dealt with before this operation commences so that doesn't happen.
If we set her up to begin the detonation of the bomb and then he tries to interfere with us making our escape. Without Fluffy wings knowing, we take care to have some spare scrolls of summoning, and at least 2 mages in the group who she doesn't know are mages. That way, when he attacks, and she starts the bomb count down that will almost certainly lead to everyone she loves dieing, we can still evacuate, leaving her to fight him alone with the bomb ready to go off and him being annihilated by the blast front when it does.

This is how we sneaky sneak. The shadow only knows what she knows probably. So if we hide some information from HER so that the shadow over plays his hand? We win.

After all, when is the shadow every going to have a chance to inflict THAT much damage on her psychologically than then? The time when she can be responsible for killing pretty much EVERYONE she loves?
>>
>>30404681
Yes. Leila and Zacharia to be the ones to activate the portal and push the bomb through.
We still need to have Ithel and Belphegor actually analyze the bomb, assuming that Orion doesn't have a remote dead man switch to have the bomb go off when he dies, and a remote detonator that he'll use as soon as he loses control of the bomb.

Even after we moved the bomb, we don't know how to detonate it.
>>
>>30404804
Who wants to bet there'll be schematics in the place they're keeping it? Or we just drag through somebody with an engineerial look to them and charm them.
>>
>>30404819

The bomb is going to surpsie you people, oh yes. It's more magic than engineering, unlike the mechs.

So I'm not too sure what the consensus is for the actual operation.
>>
>>30404819
No, that would be stupid because Orion is the one who designed and built this bomb and he's keeping the schematics in his head, this bomb is an Angel-only magitek weapon, and we'd have to charm an angel during a fight, and that's not happening.
>>
>>30404795
I don't know if that would be such a great idea to rely on the bomb to help win the fight. During the mission at any time the nightmare could cause trouble it would probably be better to deal with him before we set out for the bomb.
>>
>>30404795
Except that the Nightmare is currently in Athena and if we don't properly have it extracted for Hadraniel to fight, it will kill Athena when it leaves. That will compromise Hadraniel's state of mind for letting her best friend die, and it will cause psychic backlash to Siegfried and everyone he is Soul linked to.
>>
>>30404795
Okay. So full plan.

1) Diversions at land and sea to draw Orion away.

2) Full strike team, approved by Daiyu. We bring 4 sets of scrolls.
->1: The set to bring us, and the bomb, and the strike team, into the swamps.
->2: The diversionary set, leading to several other probably locations to steal the bomb, just incase they have some sort of way of tracking portals.
->3: The set to get us home (the ones Fluffy wings knows about)
->4: The set to get us home (the set that fluffy wings doesn't know about)

In addition, the nature of two of the mages on the team besides ourselves is kept hidden until the shadow reveals himself.

When shadow reveals himself by inevitably trying to destroy the scrolls or our designated teleport mage, we then end up-

>>30404923
oh. See, I thought it had just infected her there, I didn't know it was actually in her freaking arm. yeah. that has to be nipped in the bud NOW.
>>
>>30404858
Let me guess, the bomb itself is semi-sentient and it can tell when it's being hijacked by enemies or unauthorized people are trying to get it to detonate.

That's my point. Plus, y'know, it has been stated multiple times that she has to kill the thing A-L-O-N-E. Alone, as in no help, no outside interference, else it just revives after a time. We did "kill" it with that solar sword and Batrion's aid. But what is dead may not die. Some things can only be killed in a certain way, to use any other will result in failure.

A nuke made by an enemy being dropped on its face... yeah, she wasn't really "alone" there now was she?

>>30404923
Not sure if backlash hits the others, just hits him. I didn't see Sylphis grab her arm when we felt that one from half an Island away.

>>30404958
If it is an Embodiment-Class Angel might be able to dupe it. And hey, we have one, as a lover no less!
>>
>>30404958

Your warm, it's a little more complicated in term of being sentient or not but let's just say there's a big reason to keep it hush-hush beyond the tech getting leaked.
>>
>>30404780
Nah, it's just a way to get rid of people that could be problematic to deal with in general.

Then why not kill Athena, Sylphis, Cadhla and Ame-no-Uzume?

yeah, but she doesn't have to kill it with her bare hands. She has to be the one RESPONSIBLE without assistance for killing it. If it attacks at an inopportune moment and she has smething at hand to kill it with, then that's it's bad luck.
>>

Goddamn it INH, it's going to be a new waifu isn't it?
>>
>>30404993
So a vital component is either a human or an angel that is sacrificed to make the bomb, like the dwarves were sacrificed to make the magitek armors and became their control circuits.
An Embodiments class angel isn't going to cut it if the bomb doesn't trust us. And Orion would have already told the bomb to not cooperate with anyone except himself and his closest angel lieutenants.

In time.

yes, but it's not about 'solving issues' it's about 'solving issues in the right way'

The harder path is the better one in this case.

The general outline is a preemptive strike while the Church is weakened I take it?

I wouldn't know about decided you could maybe use the start of the next episode to go over what resources we have for the operation and what we want to do first. We should probably talk to all the girls before the mission incase this is the last time if something goes terribly wrong during the mission with how critical this operation is.
>>
>>30405145
Yes. And just incase we can't deal with mr. nightmare until we get to the bomb, we go with the keeping some information hidden from Athena and Hadriel.
>>
>>30405168
>>30405156

No rest for the wicked I see... So it'll be a fight in around two days instead of letting the church suckle their wounds; impede the reinforcemnts and strike, both nations army still need to mobalize.

The option of letting them come to you would take around 3/4 days,
>>
>>30405140
Have fun when Athena gets fully corrupted then.
>>
>>30405006
Zech already has a waifu and is a hero. And Kyorn is winged Shizuo by the looks of it. There are no problems here, only very useful tools.

I heard someone say the latter is a hammer and we need scalpels. Scalpels can't smash walls or crack several skulls at once. Sometimes, you're very, very happy you brought a sledge hammer with you. Scalpels could not and would not be capable of doing what needs to be done. Right tool for the job, and god knows we'll be needing an entire toolbox to pull this shit off and land a happy end.

>>30405062
If that's true it had to be willingly. I doubt the Church has the stomach to knowingly stoop to that low just yet. It ain't like males are near extinction, just rarer than people would like.

>>30405070
I don't know what it rightly is myself, but it definitely involves luring Orion out into the battlefield so we know for sure he isn't waiting for the team at the bomb. A good team can take his honor guard, it sure as fuck can't take him.

In a day, in a few days, nor sure we've nailed that down, but it definitely involves insurance that Orion is most assuredly NOT guarding the bomb personally. He absolutely must *not* be waiting for that team if we want to succeed in any scheme we cook up.

He's the bonus boss, you said it yourself. You don't fight bonus bosses until you can easily kill the "final" boss. Even "unlimited" Siggy couldn't take him. Even our "Boss" Mode couldn't do jack shit to the bastard.

Well, I guess we could have tried chopping off a quarter of our soul and attempting to make him into a statue, but he'd just take the hit and the weakening effects of countering with the same much like Tsu did to survive a headshot. And we'd be weakened in turn. A very bad "wash" of outcomes as it were.
>>
>>30405145
We need to draw out the nightmare to a fight before hand somehow, force a confrontation between him and Hadriel before the opperation begins.

Do we have any way of forcing it?

>>30405198
We want to force Orion out onto the battlefield. Can we mobilize a large enough force to force him to take to the field to prevent their shore bound forces from being obliterated?

And again, how do we force the confrontation between him and fluffy wings?
>>
>>30405201
The only thing I can see working with actually taking out Orion is to find that Dagger and bumrush Deruella to get it back.
But I doubt we could track it down in just 2 days, unless Daiyu were to somehow bludgeon most of her daughters into submission and get them to tell us where Deruella is.
>>
>>30405255
No time. We have to avoid Orion. Distract him. The diversionary forces are going on a suicide mission. Their entire purpose is to force Orion to get onto the field of battle to save his own forces while we steal and deploy his trump card.
>>
>>30405244
>Do we have any way of forcing it
Daiyu is working on it.
>>
>>30405070
>I've reintroduced an old face and put two others ladies, you expect me to make ANOTHER waifu?

We haven't got an undead girl yet, or an elemental. Our harem is missing some crucial archetypes.
>>
>>30405286
She has until we have to leave. And in any case, we're prepairing the backup plan in case of the worst and it decides to fuck with us on the mission, probably at the critical phase when we stand to lose the most.
>>
>>30405244

You'll have to ask the Demon Lord for that, she'll need to inspect some part of the mansion before tough, but she's knowledgeable about the Nightmare for sure.

As for forcing Orion outside... there's no certainty to be had; outright obliteration of the church forces is definetly a serious concern but Lex isn't an idiot and has to keep up apperance and has no authority over Orion, so msiter metal will need to get off his ass himself if he feel like it.

>>30405201

Right so a preemptive strike before the church reinforce, so a mix of Gil strategy and Rhy suggestions of sending teams of special forces to find and obliterate the bomb.

It's highly likely the Church will camp and reinforce, so army and special agents might have to mix during the fight.

That's fine. We have to do this before they can consolidate and reinforce. Never give up your momentum, ever.

Worst case scenario?

They deploy the bomb early, and minimum damage is done to the island. If it looks like that's going to happen, we have bug-out portal scrolls to get to the other side of the island.
>>
>>30405330

>>
>>30405273
The diversionary forces are the Gwynedd Navy and the Zipangu water clans, and the combined Gwynedd-Zipangu army. Both Led and Orion are smart, they won't move unless they feel the attack is the real thing, so the diversion has to be too great of a threat to ignore, and a conventional attack that can wipe out their conventional forces can't be ignored.
Of course we'll be walking into a trap, but it has to be done to get Orion to leave the bomb's side.
>>
>>30405359
Yep. It has to be done. Because if we can get rid of their trump card, then we can win this. Plus, opening a way between the swamp will create a massive trade possibilities correct?

that should mean that combined, our two nations should be able to rebuild what is lost.

If we play our cards right, this will break the back of the crusade as surely as the big battle would.

Could be that Deruella wants him dead too. He does plan to kill *all* monstergirls after all. That would include her and her beloved fallen. She may hate us for offing Noscrim but it is because of us that she acquired the necessary tool to "remove" his ass from the game. She's a player of the game, she knows that sometimes you must sacrifice a favorite piece to achieve victory.

Remove her mother too, if it comes to that. Profile says she loved her mother and father very much. But we're not talking the MGE, this is a heavily altered version of it. And 30 years is a very long time to not hear from dear old mommy. She may hold a bit of a grudge, or confusion on the alteration of her priorities.

She wanted what mommy wanted, a utopia of endless pleasure. Back then that is, not sure how she'd take a world of peaceful cooperation without the utopia aspect.

>>30405313
I still want to buy a day or two of reinforcement lacking Church forces. Need strengthen Emeth's personality, kill the nightmare, scan for traitors, all things that take time.

Again, that relies on Ice Bitch. We need her scanned yesterday. We also need some "alone" time with her. She needs to hear why we did what we did. How it tore poor Siggy up inside, how he grieved for Avina, how he wants to see that fryfaced bitch pay, how she's now a succubus under Deruella's employ. How he hates what he did and desperately wants to see peace between man and monster if only to make amends for his past sins. How he spared Amarantha and those harpy eggs because he couldn't bear to kill another person. And how that fucking squatter killed that lizardgirl against our wishes...

AFTER she's been scanned and her loyalty ensured somehow of course. Can't risk anything finding its way back to Deruella. Fear the unknown, and we have no clue what her ultimate goal here is. Only that she has one.
>>
>>30405389
Hey INH will there be a chance to talk to mother earth before the mission maybe get some insight from her for this mission?
>>
>>30405389
>Lots of casualties either way.
Lots of casualties are going to happen no matter what we do. We have to act on what will put us at the best advantage.

Right now, the enemy is dispersed, their moral is flagging because of the massive defeats they've already taken, and they're just barely consolidated. We have to keep hammering on them.

Further, if we wait, their moral will be back, their forces fully consolidated, and they'll have no reason not to bring the holy weapon with them into the fray and detonate it on the battlefield to obliterate the standing armies we have then just march in and kill everything on the island with impunity.

Frankly, this is the weakest hand they have to play any time in the near future, and we cannot afford to not follow up on them.

We can't leave immediately in any case. We got 2 days to get shit done. The sea forces can attack on the beginning of the first day, starting to slow the reinforcements down, maybe buy us ANOTHER day.

Every day we buy is time the enemy is denied.

We deal with heavy priority stuff. We deal with the Nightmare NOW. When that's done, Daiyu begins hunting the upper ranks of baddies.

Waiting would not result in anything except us losing momentum. We can't afford that. Our moral is high, very high at the moment. The enemy's moral is as low as it's going to get. And that's important. We need to deliver a crushing defeat, we have to shatter their will to fight, and now is the best chance for that.

That said, if we can POSSIBLY buy a few days before the reinforcements arrive, we should do it.
>>
>>30405425

Deruella will definetly make a move during this fight given it's sheer importance.

As for buying a day, you mean the water clans and Gwynedd navy running interference with the church reinforcement? The yahve a navy of their own, so a water battle ought to be expect if you wait too long.

>>30405463

Yes.
>>
>>30405479
If they can buy us even 1 or 2 extra days. It will be enough.
>>
>>30405497

If Orion get out and smash them however...
>>
>>30405515
point.

I think before making a final decision, we need to take an hour and talk with Daiyu. We need to figure out what she can do.

Then we can decide on a course of action.

Hell, even 10 minutes talking with her about fixing Athena before going into this.

And frankly, if Orion goes out to smash them and then we deploy the second attack as he's called away? That's even better. THat means we can CERTAINLY obliterate their beach head.

Losing the advantage of the navy in the long term is sad, but it CAN be rebuilt, especially if we can get the swamp bomb plan to go off. Since that'll open up new trade for the kingdoms of the alliance.

Yes, we lose preparation time. But we NEED to hit them NOW. When they're still disorganized. We will NEVER get a better chance than this, and frankly, their position is going to be too damn fucking strong if we go for the bloody meat grinder battle.

Do we not have any eyes in the sky or little birds in the camp itself? He's got a distinct appearance, surely his metal body gleams in the sun.

Every war has its traitors. The more sides, the more traitors. Tsu is shrewd, she must have seduced someone within the church to be her eyes and ears there. As did Deruella, as did Ahriman, Lex, Gil, and Orion. Everyone has their spies, you can't tell me we don't have ours.

If he does leave, there has to be a chance we'll be informed of it. Leave it to the dice if we are informed correctly if you must, but this is the nature of the game. Schemes within schemes, plots within plots, triple, quintuple backstabbers, ect...

It's a game, a very complicated game. A game that has shaped the world. All play and are played in turn. We can only hope that in the end, we were lucky we played well.
>>
>>30405515
That is the problem. Orion could singlehandedly destroy the combined Gwynedd-Zipangu Navy or Army, but he can't do both AND protect his bomb.

If he wipes out our Navy and the water clans, we destroy the Crusade's land forces and take the bomb. If he destroys our army, then we destroy the reinforcements and take the bomb. If he doesn't move from the bomb, then we destroy the Crusade, and can concentrate all of our Heroes and the entire golem army on him and his bomb.

We need to ensure that all paths, no matter how bloody, result in our final victory.
>>
>>30405566
The point is, we're fairly prepared to launch a counter attack -now-.

The enemy is NOT prepared for a large scale battle, which is why they're waiting for reinforcements.

Our position is not as strong as we'd like. But you NEVER give the enemy time to breath.

Finally, our logistics is far better than theirs.

if we can get teleportation shit working right... well... how many teleportation scrolls can we make? Because you know what I fucking LOVE about ships?

They are really fucking easy to destroy if you know what you're doing.

smash a hole in the bottom of a ship well below it's water line? And it's done.

Send the sea clans in. They punch holes in the bottoms of as many of the ships as they can, then teleport the fuck out.

Those who are most mobile are kings of the battle field, and frankly, we have the advantage in mobility.
>>
>>30405592
Exactly.

And we're only getting this chance once.

Because next time? If we wait?

We're facing the entire might of the crusade, and the angels, and orion, and the bomb, all at the same place.

The odds against us winning are simply stacked too high.
>>
>>30405515
INH, through any of our past loops, did we ever see the bomb detonate, and its area of effect?

Because we know the bomb was moved ahead of the beachhead and the Crusade's main forces, so I'd like to know how much of the army will be caught in the blast radius if Orion detonates it before we can portal it out.
>>
>>30405623
But the thing is, that's what they think. Funny thing that, what you "think" may not actually be "true". If you believe that, as they likely do, you get to be overconfident. And what does overconfidence bring?

Defeat. Oh yes you were "right" in doing this or that given the circumstances you KNEW of, but it didn't really help now did it? Because there was so much you *didn't* know. That's the point in the end, we don't know how well they play the game.

There are poor liars, good liars, maybe one or two GREAT liars, but liars all the same. And with one misstep a "great" liar can fall into the trap of a poor one.

So much to say for every side here, I can't rightly say what is the "smart" choice. Though I personally can't see the harm in attempting to buy a day somehow. Preferably without Gil's fleet involved. Let's make the wind go against the enemy fleet if possible. Once done, not much anyone can do to change that fact.

>>30405677
It's big, we know that. Though how big would help.
>>
>>30405604

Teleportating scrolls are a pretty big deal and hard to make, Tsu, Ame and Mebuchednazi were the only ones that showed potential for portals because they are amazing with magic while Daiyu using the link and corruption to make another portal very much unique to her.

Water clans fight by punching holes under ships, so yeah they'l lbe effective on that front. Very much.

>>30405591

this is a war of ideologies and belief most of all, Deruella spy were put with charms; the only kind of spy in the opposing armies would be people feeding some logistic and intelligence i nthe night but nothing thatcan be sent as a signal on sudden, short notice.

HOWEVER

Rhy has a scrying ability, she can literally get a bird eye view of the battlefiedl; this is her special talent and what made Tsu seek out the alliance, that cat is invaluable.

>>30405677

You did, but everytime it detonated it resulted in your death shortly afterward. from what you glanced from those paths, it was enough to irridiated a good part of the coast, probably the entire region of Hrotio itself.

It's the biggest plain on the country and Zipangu is about the size of the UK.
>>
>>30405728
>It's the biggest plain on the country and Zipangu is about the size of the UK.
So if it was in the center, it could hit the entire place.

It's safe to say, we're looking at half the island being bathed in the irradiation at best. And probably worse.

>>30405715
Yeah. But we operate on what we know. Overconfidence comes from ignoring facts. We buy a day or two of time if we can. but we need to be ready to attack.

This shit needs to happen NOW.

INH? What did we do last time? In the time loops? What lead up to the detonation?

We got one shot at this. The detonation of the holy weapon isn't an option unless we can get it to the swamp.
>>
>>30405728
Okay..... really not a great idea for us to be there if it goes off then. Before the battle begins would should have Rhy look into what kind of defenses we will run into and maybe find the bomb if we are lucky.
>>
>>30405784

>INH? What did we do last time? In the time loops? What lead up to the detonation?

>>30405886
Strike team it is then. We have to disrupt ourselves from past paths as much as possible
>>
>>30405715
>>30405784
Delaying the reinforcement fleet is the exact opposite of what we want. We want a coordinated and simultaneous strike against both the Crusader camp AND the fleet at the same time, otherwise we can't get Orion to be forced to choose between three targets.
Also, the longer we wait the further inland the angels can move the bomb.
>>
>>30405991

They'll ahve to get past the various harpies patrols tough, none of them have gone missing so far.
>>
>>30405991
Well we first need to get all of the pieces in place and figure out how long it'll take to cure athena.

We need our own heroes on the field, including our dear fluffy wings. That means nullifying this nightmare asap.
>>
I'll start next thread with the preemptive strike in mind, that'll be the general strategy adopted for our armies.

That means a fight in around 2 days, give or take; no blockade, only a coordinated attack between navy and land.
>>
>>30406011
The Crusader beachhead will regroup and dig in regardless of the timetable on the fleet. If we delay the reinforcements and use that time to delay our own attack, we'll be going up against a more organized Crusader force in more defensible positions.
>>
>>30406059
I'm expecting Orion to see through our plan and for him to not move from the bomb.
Lex, seeing his army cut off from reinforcements and without Orion and his angels coming to the Crusade's rescue, will do the smart thing and surrender.

That'll probably be all the excuse Orion needs to detonate the bomb. It'll then become a question of whether we can throw the bomb through a portal before it goes off, assuming there's a countdown instead of an immediate detonation.
>>
>>30406066

Orion might not detonate the bomb for that exact reason. He knows that if they detonate the bomb out of spite, the monster tribes will basically unite and rofl-stomp over the church. Not to mention the human groups that will turn against the church for the blatant loss of life.

They have to take out the island in one shot to be assured of victory in the long run.

If they try it out of spite they're dead. So Orion will be forced to move on the armies.

Damn right, we have an airforce too. With a Dragon to add to it now. She may be "blind" but I doubt that has impacted the "Great Wyrm" very much. She's had centuries to compensate for that. And compensate she has, only a fool attempts to pit his wits against a dragon. They've lived longer than your name will endure. They've done so for a reason. They're smarter than you'll ever be in your limited life. That Dragon... She is a key here. A key to a good end if we play it right. Even Ice Bitch has to fear the power of Dragonfire. A fire that melts stone as well as it does ice.

She knows not to piss her off, I pray she knows that well enough to see through any hate and grudge. But we must be sure regardless, that TYPE is almost as inhuman as Orion. We thus can't be sure she is of the proper mindset to see victory.

Fendall is the old dragon of myth of Gwynedd, said to be its guardian and peacekeeper.

Church and nobles constantly fucked with her because they know where she is

Biggest reason why I skipepd last sunday was because I wanted to give her, Cadhla and Gil a proper backstory and personality. Nothing else would have left me satisfied enough for writing.

Dragon is one of the big reason why Gwynedd manage to stay whole during the Great Crusade.

And of those who fucked with her the wrong way... Only ashes live to tell the tale. Pity, as ashes don't speak. Only scatter as grim reminders of the dead only to those present.

Don't fuck with a Dragon, especially one as old as the one we're dealing with. Pretty much need a nuke to take them out. Probably a reason Orion is so dead set on this whole thing going off without a hitch. An Embodiment is one thing, a "Great Wyrm" is another. A very similar "another" as far as power levels are concerned. SSJ Angel with allies vs. SSJ Dragon with different allies. Who wins well... Care to flip a coin?

Well, we should probably ask for her to hold back in reserve. She can't BEAT Orion, but I think that Orion would have a hard time KILLING her as well. She might be able to tie him up if he gets out onto the battlefield and thus reduce casualties until we destroy the bomb and he's forced to retreat due to simple attrition.

Fendall is another old character of mine, but I decided to tone down the mountain sized blind dragon to a proper lady instead

I definetly encourage /tg/ to chat her up sometime, she's got lots of interesting thing to say.

She's not even bitter enough to accuse all human of her misfortune

>>30406432

She's not as strong as Orion in term of raw power so not she can't kill him solo. Unfortunately

Exactly. If the going gets tough let the "blind" dragon roast a good half of their forces with one torrent of her Dragonfire. Flesh melts far faster than stone ever could. You don't conquer 7 kingdoms with piddly little gouts of flame. You conquer them with great torrents of said flame that reduce battalions to ash in an instant. And the greatest walls to glass as well.

We don't need to beat this fucker in the next few days, only draw him out and destroy/detonate the nuke while he's away. Killing him can come later, but his little toy needs to go before it kills those we care for along with all the names we don't and can't know. A mind can only hold so much info, you understand.

Preferably in a most auspicious place in the swamp, so that a trade route can be opened. "The Wall" of that swamp has stood long enough. There is much to trade and discuss. The lands of the Pharaoh, the kingdoms beyond the swamp, the "mongols" that were decimated because of their isolated politics, so much needs be done.

A great future lies before us all, if we play it all right. Heaven willing, monsters, deamons, angels, Elves, Dwarves, and Humans will see a path to the stars. A path paved in trust and love, not blood and sorrow. Pity Orion will have none of that, xenophobic freak he is.

Can't wait to talk with him when we bring the kill team down on him. I expect great reasoning, much like pic related did.
>>
Ok:

If we manage to sneak into their compound again, teleport the bomb to the corrupt wasteland and detonate it there, it would easily remove that threat.

Having said that, the very best bait for Orion us us. He absolutely hates our guts right now.

Just popping in quickly to say that next thread will be Sunday or Monday, I'll advice on twitter.

Why is hadraniel perfect

What if we had some people pulling the illusion act? A Yukkionna with a glamor on her that makes her look like us would go a long ways towards helping out. We find some other people and some more glamor and convince him we're in the vanguard of the land assault when actually we're sneaking in from behind?

>>30406677
Got it in one.

We use our blind dragon to come out if our glamor doubles and the assault doesn't draw him out, then we deploy her. Otherwise she holds back and only attacks if he appears, locking him down. We don't need her to kill him, just tie him up so much that he can't POSSIBLY retreat without giving her a chance to permanently cripple him.

I have an idea, what if Tatsuki made it rain and we had our fluffy winged waifu fly us over the holy nuke and we dropped several boulder sized icecicles on the camp then launched an all out attack wile their disorganzed, hitting them from both sides it once
>>
>>30410626
the icy bombing run might actually be a really good idea. Yukkionna on Wyverns.

We have a combined force.

Let's leverage that.

The problem with magic ice is that it requires constant channel of mama. As soon as the ice boulders left the mage's sphere of influence, it would disappear.
>>
And we can use the velocity of the rain launch our projectiles at incredible speeds, and for over kill we make fragmentation acid filled spikes for maximum damage
We could easily have the youki oonis ride our bro's gryphon riders with some more ice mages
>>
>>30410793
See, I still don't understand WHY that is.

If we were conjuring ice out of nothing that would be one thing, but we're condensing ice out of the air, and we'd be in a coastal region, the humidity would be massive and easily manipulated by ice.

I really don't understand WHY the constant stream of mana is necessary to keep the ice concrete. Keep it from melting at ALL or keeping it's special properities functioning (eg: acid or not cold etc.) I understand, but not simply keeping it in existence.
