It's a very good defensive vehicle, but it's not so good when you're trying to go on the offense. Historically, Stugs were basically a way to keep the PzIII chassis relevant, and Stug IVs only came about after the main factory for the Stug IIIs got bombed. Most Panzer companies preferred to stick with conventional tanks, and they eventually began developing heavier tank destroyers that outclassed the Stug.

So, basically, Stugs are "meh" tier. They're okay, but you shouldn't be going out of your way to get them. If we got a Pz IV chassis, better of just making it into an actual Pz IV.

I don't think so. In my mind, not being at a numerical disadvantage is generally better then having our few tanks up to the highest specs. It'll only get worse when the upper limit is bumped to 20 and we haven't been keeping up with recruiting and training crews. “Close enough,” you say as you give the book to her. “Would you mind giving that a read-through, see what it is?”

Lutz nods. “Sure!”

With that, the crews start arriving in good order. The Poles and the Rifle team especially seem happy to be put back in their old tanks. Your staff also arrives in good order. Once everyone changes out into their Tankery uniforms, they all gravitate towards the lounge.

With that, your team, minus the clumsily handled Hellcat and Panzer IV assemble out in the field to begin basic maneuvering practice. Just a quick lap around the field and then some formations.

The Hellcat immediately crashes right into the back of the Sentinel Tank. Both of have their white flags popped.

The Sentinel and the Hellcat are brought into working order pretty quickly thanks to Lutz’ technical know-how and the work of both crews.

Now it was time to learn how to fire a gun. You stand turned out of the hatch and look at the target. It’s a cardboard target of an A38 Valiant. Poor thing.

“Don’t be afraid to use your machine guns for this!” yells Lutz over the radio.

You blink, then look over at Kitten who’s at the hullmachine gun position. “Kitten, that means you.”

Kitten nods, look at the machine gun hesitantly. “You know, I can’t remember ever firing this thing.”

“Well, now’s your chance,” says Lisa. “Go for it.”

“Fire at will!” you yell over the radio. The main tank arms open up, blasting great big holes in their targets. The Machine guns open up as well, you can hear the distinct sound of the Churchill’s hull and coax, the Panther’s MG-34s. Even Ramierz has taken up the coaxial .30. You look down at Kitten, nodding. Kitten cocks the great machine gun then begins spraying rounds downrange, rattling her intensely.

You can definitely see that at least almost everyone has hit near or actually hit the targets. The only ones not to are the Girl Scouts and the Theatre Tech crews, but that’s understandable.

“Stop!” you yell. The guns stop firing at once. You look down at Kitten, who looks shaken as she lies back in her seat. “You okay?”

Kitten nods, blushing a bit, sweating intensely. “Wow, that was really something, can we do that again?” You giggle a bit. Firing that machine gun must really be something.

I didn't like the Hellcat with the Poles but since their a new team, they'll grow into it.

Looking at our upcoming match with Saunders and Walter Christie, unless we get more money from somewhere the only possible conversions are

The Stug is a little expensive but may be a god upgrade for Walter Christie.

Panzer IV is cheap but we're not using it against Walter Christie nor will it be ready for Saunders

As much as I like the Scott it won't really help us in the match and despite it being cheap, we need a scout other then the Souma 35 (We need to ask Perrine about turning it into a S40 or a SaU40 if we can)

Or we can get spaced armor but for who?

Good question. I suppose you can specify which crews not to repeal the Morale loss for.

However, by default ALL crews involved in morale loss will have their loss reversed on activation of the perk.

So, if you want to use it on a particular crew or crews, please specify.
