The last thing you remember was taking a job for a dirty cop. The first thing you remember is finding yourself caught between a cop and a hard place.

Your name is Alice, and you are a prototype infiltration/assassination android currently hiding behind a couch while a cop and his Neo-Patriot friend prepare to fight off members of one of the many Middle Eastern mafia clans that flourished with the destruction of La Cosa Nostra and the Cartels.

You are hiding behind a couch with a large duffel bag of money on your back, a gun in your hand, and some ammo along with a purloined stun grenade.

You briefly consider activating your combat primer since it's clear that a gunfight is inevitable.

Will you activate the Combat Primer?

-Yes (Infodump time, before you get thrown straight in.)
-No (Learn as you go in a pre-set combat scenario.)
>>

You decide not to activate the Combat Primer and instead deal with this situation in your own way.

The first thing to do is to get outside so you can neutralise the thugs out the back. You pull out the flashbang and ready yourself for a throw.

(Someone give me 1d100 to throw the Flashbang, +30 speciality bonus applies for sneak attack.)

>>
>>30239839

If it involve getting into places you aren't supposed to be *quietly* and sneak attacks, that counts as infiltration.
>>
>>30239868
So, for example, say we try to get access to a building by saying, "Hi, I'm the exterminator, I have an appointment now, please let me in so I can spray for bugs." Would that count as infiltration or not?
>>
>>30239923

Yes, just remember to make sure that the exterminator really is due today.
>>
>>30239963
>implying the secretary will bother to check to make sure there really is supposed to be an exterminator
Wow, I guess operational security is much better in the future.
>>
>12+30=42

You pull the pin, wincing as you realise that it's rusty as it gives off a loud metallic squeak that causes the two men to flinch and begin to turn just as you throw the flashbang.

It lands at their feet and Abdul yells something in Arabic, going for a kick just as the flashbang detonates, blinding the pair.

"What the fuck was that?" You hear one of the thugs down below shout as they hear and see the grenade detonating.

You rush towards the window and throw yourself through it, landing on the fire escape but instead of rising, you proceed to roll down the first flight of metal steps with a banging of metal, landing on third floor fire escape landing and rising to your feet.

You spot 6 targets on the ground, the others are likely still inside, and ready your pistol.

-Berreta M97
-Damage: 3d6
-ROF: 6
-Mods: Suppressor, Illuminated Sights
-Bonuses: +35 to combat.

(Attacking: You can fire 6 shots in one turn. Type out in the Subject Line how many shots you fire, then roll that many 1d100. If you want to aim at a specific body part like the head, chest, arms or legs, it incurs a -10 aim penalty.)

(Suppressed Weapons: Suppressors allow you to apply your +30 Infiltration speciality to combat only if the currently equipped weapon has a suppressor attached.)

(Sight Mod: The pistol has Illuminated Sights, which provide +5 to Shooting Rolls.)

Someone give me an attack. First rolls will be taken.

Is there any reason not to shoot six times in one turn?

In-game answer: combat limiters to prevent ammunition wastage.

>53, 90, 93, 86: Four hits

You raise the gun and snap off six shots at their heads.

Two bullets strike the cars, but four find their mark, punching into the skulls of the mafia soldiers.

(GM: Successful Headshots cause a x10 damage multiplier, because people die when you shoot them in the head unless they are damn luck. Not these guys though.)
>Damage Results:
>12x10=120
>7x10=70
>8x10=80
>10x10=100

You see brain matter and blood splatter across the asphalt and cars as four bodies drop to the ground while the remaining two open fire at you.

>Enemy 1 Attack Roll: 27, Miss!

You don't even need to dodge as the bullets strike the metal and brick around you before you head down another level to the second level as they shift position to open fire on you again!

As their bodies drop to the ground, you also hop to the ground and land with a thud before preparing to leave the area, when you hear the back door get kicked open and turn just in time to receive a spray of bullets to the chest.

"Fucking whore!" The rifle comes up, clearly the thug is going to try and bash your face in.

But you're faster as you engage your rapid repair system, feeling the thump of your reactor charges firing.

>Reactor Charges: 6

(GM: Reactor Charges are used like a Med-Kit are used in FPS games. Expending one heals 12d6 damage and can stack. When firing off Reactor Charges to repair damage, state in the Subject Line how many charges you will fire.)

GM: Someone fire off some Reactor Charges and stack that many 12d6's to get back to fighting shape. I will only count the first post that has the number of Reactor Charges being fired stated in the Subject Line.

You feel the nanites stitch damaged armour and ruined skin back together, flowing out in silvery streams to seal the bullet holes in your clothing as you roll to your feet and surge upwards.

(GM: Executions are close-range attacks that give the budding writefags a chance to show some creativity. Roll 1d100-20 and describe, in a short paragraph or two, a lethal close combat attack using what's available to you. An example would be ripping the thug's rifle from his hands and knocking him down, before shooting his knees, crotch and then head.)

Someone roll 1d100-20 and describe in a short paragraph or two an Execution attack. Don't make a fucking novel out of it, just something quick and brutal.

He turns his head towards you just in time to see the barrel of the rifle as it explodes in a muzzle flesh, bullets carving his face into a mess of blood and bone.

>Leave, the job's done.

What do you care about some dirty cop and a Kazakhstani who got in too deep in debt?

You walk over to one of the cars and open the door, throwing the bag of money onto the passenger seat. You consider heading to a public payphone before kneeling down to check one of the still-cooling bodies on the ground, fishing out a mobile phone.

A quick wireless check for the local emergency line and you enter the car and find the keys under a sun-visor as you listen to the ring while adjusting the seat.

"Emergency services, how can I help you?" A bored female voice asks.

"I have Hick's package." You state and there's a pause.

"Understood." Her demeanour changes instantly into a seasoned professional, "Head to this address, there will be an open dumpster in the alleyway behind it, place the bag inside and close the dumpster. You are authorised to remove two-thousand Tenge from the bag as payment. Do not remove more than that, we will know."

You nod despite yourself, "Understood." You memorise the address she rattles off, hang up, and start the car.

The drive to the drop point takes you through the quiet streets. There's only a few cars on the road but the route you take does take you to through several police checkpoints which seem to be everywhere in Old City.

They all let you pass after a glance at the duffel bag. Some of them nod respectfully to you, openly ignoring the AK47 lying on top of the bag and the ammo stacked neatly next to it.

You check the time; 2210, plenty of time to get back home to Ian.

Maybe you could reward yourself by sneaking into his bed and snuggling with him? The though makes you blush as you arrive at your destination and park near the alleyway.

Your eyes are easily able to pick out someone on the roof with a perfect view of the alleyway, likely a sniper placed there to make sure you didn't turn on them.

You remove the bag and visibly show yourself peeling off a stack of 100-Tenge bills to the sniper.

(Cont.)
>>
>Money Acquired: 2000 Tenge
>Final Payout: 2150 Tenge

You zip up the bag and walk towards the dumpster calmly before casually tossing the bag into it and closing the lid with a metallic thump.

You hear a rustling of cloth and garbage and hear a voice shout out, "Hey, get the fuck out of my alley you cunt!"

A homeless man is standing there with a baseball bat in his hands. Wonderful, better deal with him non-lethally.

(GM: Takedowns are the same as executions. Roll1d100-20 and describe a short and violent action, this time knocking out the opponent. A successful Takedown will recharge a Reactor Charge.)

(Retcon: Forgot to do this, but your systems use the psychological rush of killing someone up close as part of an adrenaline-mimetic overcharge system that is used to quickly recharge your Reactor Charges. You gained 1 Reactor Charge from the Execution earlier. Apologies.)

The two of you roll on the ground for several seconds and then you feel his hand squeeze your chest. A feral snarl rumbles out of your throat and you slam your fist into his throat, forcing him back, and as he gasps from the strike, you rise up and deal with him.

>Kick him in the crotch then snap his baseball bat in two. Lift him by the collar and look him in the eyes. "Got a problem?"

He wheezes a breathless curse at you, eyes wide and frightened at the teenage girl he's looking at.

Mainly because you are holding him up by the collar, with one hand, with his feet hanging the air.

After a few minutes of holding him up, you throw him backwards, watching him slide along the filthy ground until he slams, hard, into some trash cans and the wall behind them with a crash as you walk back to the car.

You get inside and begin driving back to Ian's Home.

Entering the apartment, you check on Ian and smile at finding him fast asleep.

You spend several minutes watching him sleep before going to shower and change for bed.

(Cont.)
>>
Idea: sleep on the couch (do we need to sleep?). Tomorrow, claim that the sister's room "smells funny" and the couch messed up our back/neck. Then ask if we can sleep with Ian.

In his bed, in a completely chaste way, we add hurriedly, while blushing.
>>
>>30243477
or we can just say we sleepwalked to his bed?
>>
You wake up bright and early, and feeling in a better mood now that you've slept and repaired yourself, decide to do something nice for Ian and his mother, because keeping on the good side of the mother is important to becoming Ian's bride.

You check the kitchen, noting the various items in the pantries and the fridge, trying to extrapolate a model on their eating habits.

With a Battlefield Generation for a mother and being an avid sports player, there's plenty of meat, vegetables and fruit, and the pantries have things like instant pancake mixes while the freezer has hash browns.

In short, a very good balance of healthy and junk.

"Morning Alice." You turn to see Rebecca standing there, watching you with an amused smile on her face, "Whatcha doing?"

Rebecca smiles, "Well, that's certainly kind of you. What are you planning on making?"

You look thoughtful for a moment. The libraries don't have much in the way of cooking instruction. At least, not anything that would be suitable for a suburban breakfast since they would require a number of exotic and expensive ingredients.

So something simple should do and that will be...

-Breakfast Muffins?

You make a point to update your list of breakfast recipes in case you decide to do this in the future as you say, "Bacon and Eggs?"

Rebecca snorts with a smile, "Sure, after saving a cop and his Kazahkstani friend tonight, I could use the reward."

Better not talk about that. You nod in reply before collecting the necessary ingredients and begin heating the pan.

After several minutes, you have three plates ready as Ian wakes up and enters the dining/kitchen area, "What smells good?"

"That would be our new houseguest," Rebecca replies as you set the table. Ian blinks and then smiles at the sight of the meal.

"Sweet, bacon and eggs, haven't had that in a while." He smiles at you, "Thanks for cooking breakfast."

Such good manners! You give him a bright smile in return.

As the three of sit down to eat breakfast, you relax and enjoy yourself, watching the young man you love banter with his mother.

You make a note to make sure the rifle and pistol under your bed is more properly hidden, then begin eating your meal.

It is delicious, the perfect morning after a hard night's work.

(GM: And that's Part 4. Next time, the real gameplay begins as The City is opened up for exploration.

Also, all dice rolls from now on will be best out of five to improve gameplay quality.

Next Session will be up on Sunday at 03:00PM, GMT+10, hope to see you then.)
