You take a seat at the centraltable of your room and press a few buttons on the thick side, and the tabletop goes from wood colours to black, then it reveals a screen that shows the entire galaxy.


You feel a vibration from inside your pocket. The only thingi n there is the crystal...

Time up. Writing...

You fish out the crystal form you pocket, and it jumps from your hand to the map, then rolls itself across the screen and rises to float above a place. It captures the light and refracts it downward, creating a beam from it to the spot onthe map. You lean in and see that it's poinpointed Dathomir.

Once you've seen, it falls to the table with a soft clink and you pocket it again. You sit down and muse to yourself that if it seeks a holocron and has targeted Dathomir, then it stands to reason that the holocron is on Dathomir.

You tuck this information to your mind.

You stand, straighten out your clothing, and stride through the room, through the meditation chamber, and out into the halls. Down the way, you see Dacyna looking lost and wearing the black uniform, only clean. You glide over to her and tap her shoulder.

"You should pay more attention." you tell her, and she sighs at you. You wave a finger at her and wordlessly beckon for her to follow. In short time, you're at the bridge and the table, chairs, and drinks have been set up already. It looks like the twoof you are a few minutes early. You take your place at the head of the table and motion for her to sit to your left.

Side note: do we have a cloaked ship or something? Because while I hate to metagame, Drathomir is currently the site of the most powerful warlord's secret shipyard, with a fleet of Imperial star destroyers for protection. We'd be lucky to get out alive, much less breach the planetary quarantine.

"Now, when they arrive you are expected to stand and greet them, it is only polite." you tell Dacyna, who was idly sliding a fork around in its place. Now she's paying attention and absorbing what you have to say, as she always has.

"You aren't expected to know all of Imperial dining customs, but the basics are as follows: do not crew with your mouth open, talk with food in your mouth, you may push but not roll your sleeves up, keep your napkin on your lap, and if there are any toasts you must ensure you drink." you say. Slowly, concisely, and ensuring she understands you. You go through showing her a few eating techniques for a formal dinner, and she seems to manage to catch on. Before long, the others arrie and you and Dacyna stand to greet them. As they greet her, you introduce them.

"Kadan Vees, the Chief Medical officer, Pontus Lann, the Chief of Engineering, Siara Crigg, the chief Gunner, and finally Helmsman Hevan Isukar." you say. She politely greets them all and you sit.

"As this is a vessel of the Inquisitorum, there was no need fortypical officer staff aboard this vessel, so these are the most important people on the vessel, but in the whole of the Empire they're not very distinguished," you explain to Dacyna who listensto you while observing the Chiefs of their respective duties, "but as I've already stated, they are very important aboard the Shadowfall." you finish and offer everyone a smile and nod.

You can feel the nervousness rising up in you, and the pressure ot behave just so pressing on your shoulders. You glance over at Leacim for some sort of guidance, and he shoots you a glance and the most subtle of nods. It's almost nothing, but something about him always commands your obedience, respect, and the most subtle of his actions makes you behave in a certain manner. That tiny nod manages to slow your racing heart and keep your head level. Your mind balanced.

"It's a pleasure to meet you all," you say. You're trying to mimic your mentor's manner of speech, as it seems to work well with these Imperials, "I look forward to possibly working with you all in the future." you finish, and they give you nods in response. Not like Leacim, though. His nods, gestures, quirks of the eyeborw, those all hold meaning. They merely seem bordeline dismissive, as if you were a temporary guest in inconvenient child. You think to yourself, 'I'm not a kid anymore' in a surge of youthful defiance, but a touch to your wrist from your mentor soothes your riling temper.

You've had to deal with that quick temper your whole life, and your dad always said you had the Old Mando'aa in you, whatever that meant.
