>What is this?

The King of Fighters Quest is a "Choose Your Own Adventure"-style quest in which you take on the role of Katja Hartkern, an Austrailian Aborgine practioner of Kyokugen Karate. It is up to the players to guide her on a day-to-day (Sometimes longer) basis towards joining a team and preparing for the upcoming martial arts extravaganza, "The King of Fighters: Infinite Match".

The goal of the quest? To WIN IT ALL... Or, at the very least, try not to look like a fool in front of millions watching around the world; Plus, you wouldn't mind trying to use your possible new-found fame to get a job or a house to call your own somewhere...

Along the way, she'll make friends and enemies alike, explore the city of South Town and maybe, JUST maybe, discover more about herself...

>Summary:

After dealing with "Justin Beiber" (AKA Chris, of the "New Faces Team" fame), you walked back up to your room and called up "Wessel's Garage", a specialist motorcycle shop about fixing your 'bike's tail light (And was conviently located near your hotel). Expecting an agonising wait or price forsuch sevices, you were luckily able to have the owner himself (David Wessel Jr.) sevice your bike as you did some stretches in the back of the garage, then watched him blast punches and kicks on a fairly-large "Heavy Bag" for a little bit as he seemed to try to convince you that your 'bike needed a tune-up pretty badly, as well as an extensive upgrades package that you couldn't really afford.

However, you high-tailed it back to "The Imperial" after hearing him mention something regarding the night you eavesdropped on the biggest players in South Town's underworld having a meeting ("besides, doesn't Bobby pay you enough?") and spent the rest of the day weight-training, but not before you went to your last accupuncture session with Lee Pai Long... Which had your body overcome with mind-blowing pain as it seemed that because of your fight the previous day with Shen Woo, your body's Ki flow was out of order, which necessitated a deep-tissue massage before the session began and strict orders to not fight for at least one full week.

Reluctantly agreeing and understanding the grave impact this would have on your preperations for "The Infinite Match", you took the rest of the day off and explored the city a little, doing some Tai-Chi in a park with around 20 other people before heading home... Only to see an army of of reporters from local and national news outlets demanding an interview with "The Bird that Beat Up Justin Bieber".

After accidentally hitting one of the reporters with your riding helmet, you were able to head back to your room and had a quiet night to yourself before going to sleep early and waking up the next day feeling quite refreshed, though with a vague sense of loss as to what you were going to do for the day, as your early attempts to medititate were stymied by a news helicopter trying to get coverage of you in Robert's pad (Your current home at this time) and the Press were hounding you for interviews still...

In between working out on a scaled-back training regiment (Again on Doctor's Orders) and breakfast (Harrowingly carried up to your room by a brave "Ginger" soul that had to dodge the press corps following him), You chatted with Robert Garcia about stuff and are now wondering what to do for the rest of the day, as you don't want to push yourself to harshly, lest it disrupt the delicate balance of Ki in your body...

Let's get started with a vote, shall we?

>A. Continue the current day as Katja Hartkern

>B. Time-Skip to May 16th as Katja Hartkern

>C. Go on a "Dream Sequence" as Katja Hartkern, having her wake up on May 16th (IE Time-Skip a day, but fill it out a little.)

I appologize for my own laziness as QM for getting this started late... That and I think I need to set the start-time back by half an hour; I'm waking up too late to try and get this all up and running by 9 AM most of the time.

>You now assume Direct Control of Katja Hartkern

You languidly lay on Robert's sofa out in the living room, your mind lost in thought about your day. Everything has just been so, well... Different, you guess; The intensity of training was what had filled your long, hard days at the Kyokugen Dojo and even when you had moved here, you still worked out damn hard most of the time.

But now you feel like a Rugby Fullback waiting for the Grand Final to start, or a Soldier sitting in base camp, waiting for "The calm before the storm" to end; It's an odd feeling, as you had sometimes complained in private that you were training too hard, that there were all of these things you would've liked to do if only you had time... After a few minutes, you sit up, stretch your arms and neck out of habit and wonder "What could I do next?"

>A. Train your legs on the Rowing Machine for 30 Minutes; It feels like your body's ready for it (Roll 3d100 for Strength, Dexterity & Luck that you don't upset your stomach/work hard enough to vomit)

You take a look over at your motorcycle leathers hanging up on a wall and shrug; Heading out and around South Town sounds pretty good to your ight now, so you grab your wallet, cellphone, keys for your bike and start to slip them on, zipping up while grabbing your boots, gloves and helmet before heading down to the lobby...

And realize that you made a VERY big mistake the moment the door opens, as swarms of cameras and news reporters try to hold you still, desperate for an interview or a word or a comment as the hotel's security vainly tries to keep them away from you, their inane questions and the flashbulbs of cameras overwhelming your auditory senses:

"EXCUSE ME! COULD YOU TALK ABOUT WHY YOU HIT JUSTIN BIEBER!?"

"Is it true that you posed for a nude photo shoot just to publicize your entry into "The King of Fighters?"

"Any comment on Justin Beiber pressing assault charges?"

"How does it feel to be the most hated Woman in America right now?"

"Are rumors regarding you dating Robert Garcia accurate?"

"I'm Johnny Grease from Babes & Bullets magazine; You wanna' do a spread for our next cover shoot?"

And on and on, their words bouncing off of your ears like the din of a packed stadium as you slip on your helmet and quietly walk downstairs to the parking garage, quickly getting on your bike and firing the engine up, the press hounds and camera crews not even getting out of your way as you let the it warm up for a few seconds...

You curse your bad luck while noting that you're going to have to make a stop for gas before you can really go anywhere while slowly backing out of the parking lot and then zooming off, a few news trucks and camera cars following you as you obey every traffic law and stop at every light, mainly to screw with them as you wonder if this really was a good idea after all...

Okay, this might be a problem in the future. We may have to bail Robert's place soon - we appreciate his help, but cops and bitchcakes.

He was in the process of assaulting hotel security. We intervened, and caused no long-term injuries. Unless Southtown has really retarded laws we're mostly in the clear.

We have been tazered by southtown police after surrendering from a non-violent crime and the police are in the pocket of someone who wants us gone/dead by association so while it may not be retarded laws, there's a high chance the laws will be rendered retarded to fuck with us.

You look in your side-mirrors every now and then, watching the cavalcade of cars follow you as you ride into early "Lunch-break" traffic, losing the press following you quite easily, though you're almost running on empty and in a part of town you don't recognize as you pull over at a convinience store, pondering your options as you lock your bike up near the parking lot with an old, rusted chain you found lying in the street.

You slip off your helmet and walk inside, heading up to register and asking "Hullo. i'm not from around these parts and was wonderin" before you pause, noting that a shotgun's pointed at your face, the cashier sitting behind the chain-linked counter obviously strung out on some kind of perscription drug as you slowly walk straight backwards out of the store, eyeing him until you're out on to the sidewalk and head back to where you parked your bike, wondering "What the fuck is WRONG with this world?"

You take a few breaths, the impact of what had just transpired in the corner stor hitting you as you fire up the engine and ride off, looking around for a gas station or a more "Friendly" place to stop for directions, the gas in your 'bike's tank perilously low as oyu aimlessly ride around, feathering the throttle and trying tostretch your milage as far as it can go...

Unfortunately, you've seemed to end up in a neighborhood that's without much in the way of "Filling Stations" (As your dad called them) or even basic simple services as you go out on the open roads once more, desperate now to try and find a place to avoid the flasbulbs and harsh camera glares of the paparazzi... When you hear your bike sputter and you shut the engine off, luckily balancing it and letting the bike Ride straight for as long as you can before stopping, pushing it off to the side of the road as you dig out your cellphone...

You unzip your riding leathers and fish out your cellphone, walking out to the edge of the highway's shoulder to try and get reception as you use your "Smartphone's" internet service to try and find a way to check for nearby gas stations.

Luckily, the first hit on Google is exactly what you were looking for and you type in your residence, fidgetting with the words and battling your phone's auto-correct function for asolid five minutes before you hit the "Enter" key and slowly wait for a response...

You smile as three different gas station appear with 6 Miles of "The Imperial" Hotel, with one of them on the road you're on right now and only about two and a Half miles away. You slip your cellphone back into your pants pocket underneath your riding leathers and walk back to your bike, pushing it down the sof shoulder of the road, mindful of any traffic but surprisingly not really dealing with very much as you push across the road to the "Stop'N'Go" station on your left around 40 Minutes later, pulling up to the first pump you can find and walking inside.

You click your tongue and walk over to the beverages section, grabbing a small water bottle as you actually "Ring" up the cashier (An older man wearing red plaid and denim overalls).

"Howdy... You ridin' hard today eh?" he asks, noting the sweat across your brow as you hand him around $35 in cash.

"Yeah... Bike ran out of gas 'bout 2 miles or so away; Had to push it here" you reply, timing your huffs and puffs with speaking as he rings you up, giving back around 35 Cents in change ($33 on the Bike, whatever left over for the water bottle) as he says "Dang, you could've called up and I would've been able to send somebody to get ya'."

"Yeah, I didn't know that there was a place like this out here in the more rural part of town" you reply, popping the top off of your bottle of water and chugging part of it down in one guld before wiping your mouth of on your sleeve.

You run a hand through your hair, zip your suit up and walk over to your bike as the camera crews and "News" reporters pull into the gas station, the guy who had nearly screamed in your face down in the lobby asking "Ma'am!? Rodney James from channel six eye-witmess news; Could you give a word about why you hit Justin Beiber?"

You glare at him for a second but your expression changes as you mull over some things in your mind, eventually stating "Honestly, as much as I'd LIKE to answer this, there is no answer that will be accepted by the mainstream press..."

"OK, how about the allegations that Bieber's filing assault charges against you?"

You pause at that as more cameras and microphones get shoved near and around you, then reply "Well, It's the first I've heard about it and truthfuly, if it IS real I don't think he's got a leg to stand on, because five guys that were part of "The Imperial's" security staff are in hospital right now and I'm not the one that sent them there" you grin, knowing that any case would probably go into your favor due to your eye-witness account of what had caused the whole ordeal to happen.

"What about the rumours of you and Robert Garcia together? Is that why you're staying in his personal appartment at the imperial?" A female reporter asks.

You chuckle a little, trying not to burst out laughing, though you eventually do so as you say "Pfft HahaHa! Me and Robert? God no... I mean, he's a friend, and a great guy, but he's not my type at all. I'm staying the imperial because I lost my house, I was reasonably good friends with his Karate Instructor and he offered me a place to stay. That's all."

"Is it honestly true that you posed nude for a photo shoot just to publicize your entry into "The King of Fighters: Infinite Match?"
>>
>>30066687

"Not at all; It was Swimwear shoot for "Fantastique La Femme", a local boutique company and it was a favor to a friend. I don't want to pursue a career in modelling at this time" you state, feeling pretty good about all of this so far as the gas tank fills up, taking every last penny of money you had put into it.

"Ma'am? Wendy Casserck from KPAX-4; We've gotten reports that you've recieved over 300 Deathreat calls over the last 12 hours over all of this... How does it feel to be the most hated Woman in America right now?"

You pause at that, glumly looking at the pump while you put it away, stating "A bunch of twelve year old girls hating me for hitting an obnoxious... Bloke, with an overinflated opinion of himself is the least of my worries right now" you reply, catching yourself about to say the dreaded "C-Word" as you put the gas cap back on, fire up the engine of your Triumph Thruxton and yell "And to be honest, I'm not for any more questions at this time; I'm late for an appointment right now", hoping that'll keep the press off of your trail as you slip on your helmet, rev the engine and peel out, nearly hitting a camera man that almost didn't get out of the way in time and ride off into the grey-but-light day, the sun visible but dulled behind a stretch of clouds on the horizon.

The bike feels pretty good as you ride on these country backroads south of the sprawling "South Town Memorial Park", one of the very few areas that's relatively "Green" and "Out-Doorsy" as you get back on the main highway and head East, towards the very tip of the sands of "Glass Marina" (Famed from being part of a beach that used to be a dump that, through time and the natural tide of the ocean's current, turned the various shards of glass into smooth, stone-like pebbles) and spot the park you had been to yesterday, the older man with greying black hair just about finished with his first full routine as you pull up and quietly shut the engine off, heading up the path and getting into the que for the next session.

You unzip your leathers a little and start to slowly stretch in-place as the the instructor concludes his session, a little anxious to get started though secretly relieved that you were able to get away from the press with your head held somewhat high.

Soo, the new session begins and you pick a spot on the far right of the area's natural ampitheatre, the various "Levels" having been sculpted not by man, but by the earth itself as you go through a "Clipped" version of your warm-stretches, then start the routine properly.

For the next hour and a half you channel your body, mind and spirit in ways that you hadn't before, your outer calm only matched by the inner giddyness you haven't really had since when you were of schoolgirl age, feeling warmth in your body as you go through the forms.

Your overall form is better today, though other parts of your body are lacking somewhat as you deliberately try to hide your Ki level, lest you reveal your true power to a group of average citizens of all ages, shapes, sizes and ethnicities.

All good things come to and end, however, and before you know it the session is over, your body basking in the warmth of energy from your meridians re-aligning and strengthening... Curiously, you feel the urge to do another session, but then you hear your stomach rumble (Though not TOO loudly)...

In spite of your stomach's protests, you feel pretty good and decide to do one more session, remembering that the instructor liked to do an hour of "Cool Down" exercises and forms while new people arrived.

You watch and mimic his movements fairly closely, feeling a similar-yet different energy stat to build up inside of you, though by the end of his set you're barely on the edge of consciousness, your hunger starting to overtake your mind as you decide to take a bow, then leave slightly earlier than you had wanted, heading back to where you had parked your bike and sit down in front of a ree, resting your eyes as you try to calm down before riding off to Sound Becah to check in with Shermie at "Fantastique La Femme".

You take a few breaths to clear your head, feeling slightly better as you get on your bike and fire up the engine, not bothering to warm it up before riding South-West, following the pretty scenery before arriving in Sound Beach in around 45 Minutes, the traffic not exactly light but flowing enough for you to make good time.

You ride down through the "Boardwalk" of Sound Beach, eventually finding "Fantastique La Femme" and pulling into the "Beach Comber's" parking lot, your mind pre-occupied with the heavenly smells of food from nearby... You shake your head as you slip your helemt off and shut down the bike's engine, putting the Bike's kick-stand up and heading across the street to the boutique Shermie ran... Only to find that they were seemingly closed for the day, a sign in French next to a clock offering you no real help... Confused, you chek your watch and find that it's nearly 4 PM, your eyes widening at how much time you've spent around town and your stomach howling at you, your headache flaring up again...

You follow the faint smell of cooked Chicken down the way from Shermie's Boutique, walking down to the end of the sidewalk to find a quaint-looking, shack-like building, "Montego Bay's" on front signage as you walk in.

The smells are quite wonderful as the place has a real "Local's" kind of vibe, though on the other hand you feel like you could've walked of a cruiseship in Jamaica and walked in here, the ambiance and gut-"Feel" being that authentic as a tall, portly Black Man with Dreadlocks and a brightly colored hat waits up at the counter

"Hey, come on'in... W

"Ah jess, bess damn chicken around, jerked just like back home... We got Pork too, but you can't go wrong with a classic" he says, sounding pretty prideful in his cooking before looking left to right, then motioning you to come closer. "Them Pao Pao muthafuckahs tried to our recipe, this shit's THAT good" he whispers, again with a little bit of swagger in voice over making such a claim.

"Well it smells WONDERFUL... What kind you got?"

"Ok, well, we got tha' Basic with a Hard Dough Bread, some sides like'a Green Beans, Plantaines, up to three kinds of Rice and Carrots to add on... There's the Fish Special, which comes with some Bammy along wi' Fried Fish."

"Wait, 'old on, "Bammy?"

"Jah mon, special kind of bread straight from Jamaica; Been around a long time" he pauses, then adds "Then there's the Johnny Cakes special which comes with Jamaica-Style fried dumplings and the Festival, which is a variation of that with sweet flavored fried dumplings made with sugar and served as a side to bring in the Trinis", grumbling at that last bit...

"God, it all sounds so good to me right now... I guess I'll go with the Fish Special, have some "Chips" as a basic side and what the hell, some Ice Cream for desert" you think out loud, unzipping your leathers and grabbing your wallet.
>>
>>30071718

Your ears and time (Along with space, it feels like) twist and contract, the earlier words of the conversation you were having with thisfine fellow rining in your ears ("Hey, come on'in... What can I get you?" "I'dunno, it all looks good to me, but i'm not exactly an expert on this kind of food... Maybe some chicken?") as you snap-back to reality and overhear the clerk at the front desk tell ask you:

"Healthy appetite eh? Usually, we get some skinny White woman come in asking for a few slices of Tofu, then complain that it's "Too Spicey" when we barely cook it" he tells you as he accepts you money, the meal costing around $25 but you can't complain; You're STARVING right now.

You flash a grin at him and reply "Yeah mate, I work out hard and need to fill myself all the time."

"You an athlete? Fightah?"

You nod and head over to a table, fanning yourself with your hands as it seems absolutely sweltering in here right now as you patiently wait for your meal, the headache somewhat subsiding as you suddenly feel a little sweaty sitting in your leathers...

After around fifteen minutes, the faint smell of smoke comes up and you turn in your seat, one of the chefs (An older man with a white beard and moustache) carry out your meal, your mouth salivating at the sight of the slightly-burnt-looking chicken & Fish, though you try the "Bammy" bread first... Sensing that it's "Different" from anything you've tasted before, but not exactly "Bad" when you start to chow down, the spices from the Chicken making your mouth feel like it's on fire over the course of the next half-hour, watching the sun start to drop on the horizon line and the tide slowly recede from your window adjacent to the curbside.

By the time you finish your Ice Cream you're officially STUFFED, but couldn't feel better as you tip them $5, jot down their phone number into your cellphone's contacts and walk out, mindful of slipping on your helmet as you walk back to your bike, wondering if you should give it a once-over just in case before you head back home...

You give your bike a "Once-Over" before starting it up, content that nothing's wrong as images of hordes of "Orochi Christ Superstar" fans punding on "The Imperial's" front door like Barbarians at the Front Gate of a castle spring to mind and you wonder if you SHOULD go back to hotel right now...

"Screw it, let's go crusin' 'round for a bit" you think as you fire up the engine and slowly turn around in the small parking lot behind "Beach Comber's", then ride off into the late afternoon sun, the twilight only just about starting to dawn.

You think about heading down to the Pao Pao Cafe 2 to check in with Bobby Wilson, but change your mind and head through China Town, that one business card Shen Woo and that one particularly "Shady" guy gave you and ride through the side-streets and back-alleys to try and find it, only to kick yourself for wasting time as you took an unnescessarily long route to arrive at "Live The Dream", a rather "Trendy" looking nightclub that could've been imported piece-by-piece from some Asian Metropolis you haven't been to.

You pull up to the adjacent parking garage and neatly pull in to an open spot, confident that nothing'll happen to your bike as there were quite a few security guards roaming the area...

You get off the bike and wonder if you should've brought a weapon with you or something, thinking how it would've accented your look as the Bouncer (A Tall, Wide African-American you peg for being an Ex-American Football player) gives you a once-over and pulls the rope out in front of you, saying "The God of War and The Wind are inside waiting for you."

You nod at that, your mind racing as to who those two people looking for you might be as you take a breath and head towards a large set of doors, both of them artfully "Sticker-Bombed" and standing out from the exterior of the building like a sore thumb. You playfully give them a tug, revealing something you hadn't quite expected...
>>
>>30073943

The building appeared to be much more open and expansive than you had initially anticipated, with everything seemingly spiralling downward towards an open area big enough to fight in while you note that there's section for VIP's upstairs while the architecture has a sort of "Grim 'N' Gritty" aesthetic without it actually being dirty. though it's a little too dark to see everything as you head downstairs to the bar and dancefloor, ordering up a Bottle of Fosters as you slip off your helmet and look around, feeling distinctly as though you shouldn't be here, or that you're being watched as you take a swig...

You take a look around and shrug, taking a sip of your beer and start to bob your head to the "Music" playing, wondering if this's what most clubs are like nowadays as you survey the scene on the dance floor, noting that no one's really dancing, rather they're doing some kind of weird bump-and-grind that reminds you of a mosh pit more than anything else as you feel a tap on your shoulder.

You turn to see the bartender pass you a note, then wordlessly point up to the sky (The music loud enough that you probably couldn't talk to him anyway) as you open and read a child-like scrawl: "Why're you down in the dungeon when you could chill with me upstairs? - The God of War PS Sorry for the handwriting, English's New to Me"

You look back at the bartender and nod, wordlessly asking if you could take your beer bottle with you. Whenhe shakes his head "No", you polish off the rest of what was left and take another deep breath, then grab your helmet and walk up the narrow stairs, the sound of your boots clanging up the metal walkway as you head to the "VIP" Section, the pretty-boy running the security detail giving you a nod and opening the velvet rope for you.

You thank him and walk up the carpeted steps and see something more like out of the VIP Boxes at a sports stadium than in a club; An immaculate, yet still "Edgy"-Looking area with a few dining tables, the one your eye's drawn to near the far right corner, Shen Woo's unmistakeable voice jaw-jabbing with somebody in Cantonese.

You zip down your leathers a little, letting your taught, T-Shirted chest show a little as you walk over, slapping a hand on his back at the first opportunity and saying "Hey Iron Fists! How'd you score these seats eh?"

Shen turns around and you flinch a little, half expecting him to sock you in the face, though instead he turns around and playfully punches you in the arm, replying "There she is! Where were you last night? You missed a hell of a gig."

"Couldn't join in on the fun I'm afraid; Our little dust-up behind The Sleeping Dragon fucked my Ki up bad enough that I'm having to take a break from fightin' for the next week" you breathlessly reply, looking over his shoulder a little to spot an Asian man in a Fedora and button-up shirt shuffling a deck of playing cards...

Shen looks at you like you told him that you had shot his pet dog (Or something; It's an odd look to try and describe to the average lay-man), but he nods and replies "Bummer. Didn't mean to go that hard on you... But C'mon! Have a seat."

You nod at that and watch the guy in the hat stand up and shake your hand, an odd feeling sinking in your gut as you hear him introduce himself: "It's nice to finally meet you; I'm Kazunori Kazahaya... But around here, everyone calls me me "The Wind"."

"Yeah, might as well use our nicknames around here; can't let anyone know what we do eh?" Shen asks as you inwardly cringe at having to sit near Kazunori, no doubt in your mind that he's "The Shady Guy" you've come across from time-to-time as you think "Shit, I really SHOULD'VE just gone back home tonight..." as Shen starts to order a round of drinks...

Could we have an opportunity to have Katja review her own moves?

Personally, what I hope to achieve out of this no-Ki rest is replacing Shippu Kyaku with something else, never really found the move fitting and it seems like it has been just copy-pasted from Robert to her.
Also I guess others certainly have idea for changes they would want for moves.
>>
>>30077977

Secinding this; It always felt to me that the Kyaku would get us into trouble more than anything else...
>>
>>30077977
Can't say I agree about the hien shippu kyaku. It's a rapid multi-hit attack with a wide effective strike radius in a moveset otherwise rather lacking in either.
>>
>TFW I'm actually up early for a change and can get this thread started on time

>>30077977
>>30078151
>>30078260

I'm all for it honestly, but I think the Kyaku should stay; it's the only Special Attack she has that advances her forward, it has multiple hits and can a hard knockdown on Crits... The Big Issue with it IS, as one Anon pointedout, the fact that because of how the hits are rolled, the damage isn't consistent, but then again that could be said for every other attack in Katja's arsenal...

>Updates now resume.

>You are now in Direct control of Katja Hartkern

You sit down and try to act natural, your body filled with a nervous energy as Shen asks you what you'd like to drink.

"Uh, Foster's... From a Tap, if you could; Otherwise just get me another bottle" you reply, your body language tense as Kazunori

"So... You up for another round Shen?"

"Come on dude, you cleaned out my wallet last game! I need at least SOMETHING to try and get home with..." Shen half-jokes, grumbling spomething in Cantonese.

Kazunori sighs, then turns to you, your expression like a deer caught in the headlights of a car as he asks "You gambling kind of gal? I'll go easy on you..."

You take a look at Kazunori and mull over your options... Then say "What kind of game we playin' mate?"

Kazunori grims at you as he pulls up a chair, setting himself up as the dealer while explaining "Whatever you want really; I know how to hold'em and fold'em better than anybody else... I'm partial to Texas Hold'em though, unless you want to learn how to play my favourite game."

"Which is?"

"Damn it, she doesn't have time to learn your stupid bullshit "World's Oldest Card Game" crap" Shen yells, still a little bitter about getting his cash taken from him so easily.

"Well, it's an intricate game with a lot of rules and history, but it's easy enough to pick up; The problem is that actually REALLY learning how to play it right can take years... Well, the "Full-Contact" version anyway" Kazunori says as his hands dance on the table, shuffling the cards with an incredible display of dexterity as he asks "So... Poker? Or Karnoffel, the oldest game of chance known to man?"

"I'm down for either, honestly... But if you want to lay down for some cash, I'd prefer Poker" you reply, fishing out a $100 Bill and putting it down on the table.

"Poker it is then... Let's Shuffle up and Deal" Kazunori tells you as he grabs three more decks of cards (Seemingly out of thin air) and starts to shuffle them up, then asks Shen "You still want in on this?"

"Nah, I need to drain the lizard" he replies as Kazunori starts to deal you two cards face down, obviously playing Texas Hold'em...

You look up at the tips of your cards, seeing that your hand is strong: An ace of Diamonds and a King of Hearts, "Big Slick" as the pros would call it, though you inwardly grimace at the "Flop": A 3 of Clubs, A Jack of Spades and an 7 of Hearts... Not exactly horrible (As you've got an inside chance of a straight), but not ideal as Kazunori puts out a $5 bill and puts in the center of the table.

"Do you need change for that hundred? Because it's a bit for a "Friendly" game" he asks, explaining "We usually do Dollar Blinds and then go from there... Hope you don't mind."

You look around for a minute, then growl "If you stack the deck on me, I'll break your fingers... And yeah, It's all I got on me."

Kazunori nods, then says something in Japanese that you think could be a snide remark as you tell him "I'll call", seeing Kazunori deal the "Turn" card, noting that it is...

If it's texas, we need a queen and 10 in order to straight anything, which is a 1/2025 chance.

You see the Turn Card is a 10 of Spades and smile inwardly at your luck turning around; All you need is one more card (A Queen of Any Suit) and you've got a straight that could win you the game...

However, Kazunori seems to pick up on your eagerness to see the Turn Card and says "I'll raise you $50."

You curse yourself as that's a pretty big chunk of your money, as well as noting that he might be trying to bluf his way though this...

$50 this early from an ante of $5? It sounds like he's testing us. We have a 1/11 chance of getting a hand at all, whereas currently we have
nothing. I suspect he began with a 3 and a 4.

>C. Fold
Taking a risk of that kind this early for that money is not on my to-do list, especially since we don't currently have a home or stable income. If we establish ourselves as mostly cowardly, then our bluffs should be slightly more believable.

Don't say any of this, though.

"God damn it" you playfully mutter as Kazunori grabs up the pot, gives you back around $75 in loose bills, telling him "I knew I should've just risked it and called" as you watch him start shuffling up a new hand for the both of you.

"Yeah, but you made a smart play; Poker's a game where you can act brash and recklessly, but you might not win if the opponent's smart... Either way, karma comes back and gets you every now and then" he replies, setting up the "Flop" cards in a stylish manner.

"Please, I've had Karma shittin' on my head for three months solid, no thanks to you or your boss..."

Kazunori pauses, then sheepishly admits "If it's any consolation, we aren't gonna bother you anymore... We were only after you because of the ties you had to Kyokugenryuu."

"And how'd you find out about that?" you ask, slightly unnerved that such private information as you check your hand: A Pair of Queens, One in Diamonds the other in Clubs...

The Flop isn't as good though: A 2 of Hearts, A 10 of Spades and a Jack of Spades as Kazunori remarks "Patriot Act. Google it" with a sly grin, "Checking" the pot and betting the minimum to stay in the game.

Should appear as wanting to be more risk taking, considering our last hand, and a pair start is reasonable. Far shot, but our best possible hand from here is a full house with queens - most likely, we'll end with either a two pair or pair high.

However, there's nothing stopping him from having a royal flush - overall, this is the hand most favoured by the flop. We'll see what happens in the river/turn.

You think over possibly raising the bet a little just to gauge their reactions for a little bit, but decide to instead call the Ante and put in $5.

"Well, then... I'll raise you $25" Shen says, "Splashin" his money into the center as Kazunori sits quietly, thinking it over before saying "Call and Raise you another $25."

"God Damn man, you tryin' to bust my balls here?" Shen cracks, knowing that he's lost quite a bit of money already... Then sighs and says "Fuck you dude; I'm gonna go check on our drinks" as he gets up, throws down his cards and storms off.

You calmly reply "I'll call" and he nods, dealing the "River" Card: A 7 of Clubs as he muses "Well then... The Ball's in your court; What do you want to do?"

You think long and hard about your next action, then quietly say "I'm going All-In; Don't have much left anyway" and put the rest of your money (Around $35) into the betting circle, Kazunori quietly narrowing his eyes behind his sunglasses.

"I'll raise you... $100" he replies, pulling out a fresh bill from his pocket and slamming it down on the table.

"Shit Mate, I'm out of money..." You jest, faking an awkard smile

"What do you ride?"

"A Triumph Thruxton, but it's worth a hell of a lot more than a Hundred Bucks Mate" you reply, a cold chill comming over your shoulder as Kazunori gets out an IPhone and searches up the average used price of your bike...

You take a long, long look at Kazunori, smiling inwardly at his gullability as you stand up, holding your cards as you fish out the registration for your bike and toss it into the pile of money starting to pile up on the table.

Kazunori nods and gets out his chequebook, writing out the exact amount and placing the fresh one on the table above you registration slip.

"OK... Show me what you got" he says as you smile, showing him your hand and watching his jaw drop when his mind connects the dots.

You shrug, feeling strangely good about yourself as you reply "Keep the beers mate; I'll just collect my winnings and head home", grabbing up the cash and Kazunori's cheque and stuffing them into your wallet as you watch him sit down and slump in his chair, shaking his head at your incredible luck.

"Damn it... I mean, the money's not really important; I buy. sell and trade real estate for a living and make 8 Figures a year but DAMN..." you hear him mumble.

"Yeah... Karma's a real thing huh?" you tease as you zip your leathers back up and grab you helmet, patting him on the shoulder and whispering "If you want, you could try and sell me a house after I win "The Infinite Match" with my girlie friends" before walking out, just missing Shen Woo as you head outside and walk back to your bike, a hollow feeling in your body as you straddle your bike...

You unzip, grab your phone and nervously call up Shen Woo, getting off the Bike and hopping over the concrete divider in front of your bike to get better reception...

"Live The Dream; Who's calling?"

"Katja Hartkern; I want to talk to The God of War outside in the parking lot" you reply, remembering to call him by his supposed "Street" name as you anxiously wait for him, hopping back over the low concrete wall as you hear the guy on the other end hang up.

You wait for the longest 10 Minutes of your life until you see Shen walk out of the

"Hey... 'Sup? You wanna rumble in private?" He asks, that one-track mind of his running and you can't help but sigh.

"No... I just wanna say I'm sorry for heading out of there without talkin' to ya'. Also, the company you keep has been trying to kill me for around 3 Months" you blurt out, blushing a little

"Really?" he asks, not quite believing you as an uneasy silence cuts through the air, the sound of the wind rushing past nearby traffic the only thing the two of you hear...

"Yeah... And I just pissed him RIGHT off by wining about Eleven Grand off of him while you were checking our drinks" you admit, adding "I just don't want to take chances anymore, you know?"

"Nah, I understand... I mean, I know the guy from that shithead Oswald, but I thought he was a pretty cool cat" Shen replies as he heads up to shake his hand. "But if you need help or protection, I got your back OK?"

"Yeah... Thanks Mate" you reply, trying to keep the feeling mutual as you shake back and fist-bump him, getting back on your bike and firing it up.

"You comming in Tuesday right?" Shen asks, yelling over the sound of the engine.

You yell "We'll See" through your helmet and ride off back to the Hotel, flowing through the "Rush-Hour" traffic...

You choose to follow side-streets and stoplights rather than hit the main highway and it pays off somewhat; Though the trip back to your hotel was longer than you had expect it to be, you were able to avoid getting stranded out on the highway, which was practically grid-locked and stopped...

You pull into the now-familiar East Parking Lot at "The Imperial" at around 6:20 PM, shutting off the bike and heading up to the hotel's lobby via the walkway near where you had parked your bike.

You then head over to the check-in desk, noting that there aren't as many people around and that none of them look like people from the press and local news stations...

"Hey there... Did I recieve any calls while I was out?" you ask Mr, Utterson behind the front desk, "Ringing" the bell for some attention.

Mr. Utterson turns and replies "No, it doesn't seem like it... Let me check", pausing for a moment to go through the phone records before confirming that no one's called you.

Somewhat relieved, you head back up to your room and start to strip down, hanging up your leathers and noticing how badly you smell as you take a breath, thinking about how you've been out all day and wondering what's to do next...

You strip off you clothes and take them with you to the shower next to your bedroom, feeling a little bit better after being out all day as the hot water soothes your body, mind and soul a little bit...

You dry off afterwards and put on some fresh, Pink Pajamas Yuri had bought you and load up your dirty clothes in a somehow-stylish-looking hamper and cart it around, looking for a washer and/or dryer until you give up, head back over to the Cordless phone in the Living Room and call up the head desk, asking them if your room has a washing mahine...

"No, I'm afraid not Ms. Hartkern. However, we DO offer fresh dry-cleaning services which are free of charge to you, if you so wish" Mr. Utterson explains.

"OK yeah, send a guy up and I'll hand it over to him" you reply, the front desk hanging up on you as you see your reflection in the wall-to-ceiling window overlooking the city, the sun starting to set and basking the room in a warm, orange glow and think of Yuri Sakazaki...

You grab your cellphone up on the kitchen counter aand call her up, hastily grabbing some basic work-out gear as the phone rings.

"Hello?" Yuri asks, careful not to mention your name as the

"It's me 'Uri; How've you been?" you whisper, carting the laundrey Hamper out to the front entrance as the elevator door swings open, a woman of average height and "Mousey" Brown hair walks in, grabs your laundry and walks back out without saying a word (Partly because her english isn't so good) as you wait for Yuri to reply.

"Well, it could be better, but it's not horrible I guess" she finally replies, not really sounding like she wants to talk right now.

"Well, I can understand that; We'r going out tomorrow for clothes shopping with King right? Because I'm burning a hole in my pocket right now" you tell her, grinning as you "Snap" Kazunori's cheque.

"Yeah... Honestly, I'm not feeling too good right now; We had some food last night and all of us exvept Dad got sick" Yuri tells you.
>>
>>30092818

"Oh... OK, well, don't strain yourself sunshine; I'll just meet up with King while you rest" you tell her, hoping that she'll make a speedy recovery, what with "The Infinite Match" only two weeks away from officially starting...

"Yeah, that sounds good... Wouldyou mind if I stayed home and you went out with her?"

"Not at all! I'd like to have my teammates as healthy as possible before we start to train for the Tourney" you reply.

"Thanks... And Katja?"

"Yeah?"

"... I'm sorry for what had happend with you and Dad; It shouldn't be this way" she replies, hearing her voice waver a little.

"... Someday, I'll earn my right to call myself his disciple; Hell, I'm almost tempted to challenge "Mr. Karate" to a rematch..." you wonder out loud, quickly adding "But I'll leave you be sweetie; Rest up awright?"

"OK... Buh-Bye."

Yuri hangs up on you and you wonder how things have been doing at the Dojo while you call up King's Bar & Grill, hoping to get a chance to speak with her...

"This is Sally at La Illusion; Can I ask who's calling?" an unfamiliar voice answers, though you can hear King and some kid screaming at each other in the background.

"Katja Hartkern; I'd like to speak with King, if that's possible?" You ask.

Sally takes a look over to the corner of the bar, watching King land her "Surprise Rose" "Dream Move" on Chris (AKA "Orochi Christ Superstar) and replies "I'm sorry, but she's busy right now; Can you leave a message?"

"Yeah: Tell her that Yuri's sick and I need to know where to meet up with her tomorrow for clothes shopping."

"OK, she'll call you back as soon as she can. Bye!" Sally replies, hanging up on you as you ponder what you could do next...

Finally, Mr. Utterson called you up at around 7 PM, informing you that your food had arrived and sending the delivery guy up to your room (With the help of one of the bellhops (Rigo, the tall, dark and handsome "Lothario" that couldn't help but try and hit on you from time-to-time).

you tipped the guys and chowed almost half of your pizza down, finding that while it was a touch greasy it smelled pretty good and tasted better than most Pizza Places you've gone to (Though you had only started to eat Pizza when you had arrived in America, the so-called "Pizzas" in Japan and Austrailia being dissapointing at best and god-awful abominations at worst)...

Stuffed, you wrapped up the left-overs in zip-up bags and placed them in the fridge, then relaxed on your bed for a bit, checking up on your E-Mails to see that, yes, you DO have over 300 Emails in your In-Box and that all of them were about you slugging Chris in the face.

However, the food you ate earlier and the long day you've had took it's toll on your mind and you went to sleep by around 10 PM, you stomach hurting a little from digesting your food but nothing too serious as you dozed off to sleep...

>You Now Assume the Role of Shermie

>Date: Tuesaday, May 15th

>Time of Day: 7 PM.

You had to close up the shop early after getting a call from the Souh Town Wrestling Federation asking you to fill in as a seamstress for the Women's Division and also "Do a Job" tonight after one of the other hires refused, threatening to quit and waving her contract in the booking team's faces...

You balked a little at hearing that, as losing (Even when deliberately trying to) isn't a lot of fun, but changed your tune when you found out that your match was going to be near the end of the card with Tsuyako Horikawa.

You lace up your boots and wriggle around in your "Wrestling" outfit (A Yellow & Red sleeveless variant of your regular dress with a wide, Faux-1970's Collar & Lapels) and idly wonder if you've put on a few pounds, your chest and derierre feeling a little snug when you hear a knock on the door.

"~Come in~" you playfully say, Tsuyako walking through the door and closing it behind her, a sort-of worried look on her face.

"Hey Shermie... Um, I know we went over how this was supposed to go, but I just was wondering if I was going to hit my Alternate Finisher first, or you were? Also, I need the seam on this side of my costume to get touched up before we go on" she asks, pointing to a small-but noticeable gap in the seam of her new (Somewhat Revealing) costume.

You sigh and tell her "Take a seat and I'll get my sewing kit", looking around for it while Tsuyako patiently sits down in a chair next to a floor mirror...

I'm thinking that Tsuyako's costume's going to get "Battle-Damaged" Cutey Honey style at some point; WHEN is going to be the big question...

>>30100180
>>30100189

"Well, what did you have in mind? That fighting tournament is in two weeks and I don't want to have to cancel my invitation and watch it from the hospital" You ask, delicatley moving thread and needles into the seam situated at Tsuyako's thigh, carfeul not to prick the skin-colored tights she's wearing, lest they rip as well...

"Well, I've practiced it with a few of the guys and nothing went wrong, but it's basically a modified Facebuster, except I grab you, put you up in a Fireman's Carry across my shoulders and spin your legs in front of me while I fall backwards" Tsuyako explains, trying not to "Jump" at the feeling of your

"Wouldn't that have me land on my face?" you ask, then pause and add "Or my upper body, I guess... Have you done this on one of the girls?"

"No... And actually, the girl that was supposed to Job to me tonight walked out when she heard me explain the move to her" Tsuyako admits, adding "The booking team REALLY want me to do it though; They said it could be used to go with my "Face" gimmick that's going to happen when "the Infinite Match" rolls around."

You sigh at hearing that as you struggle to get the seam to close Properly, then switch over to the other side of Tsuyako's costume and make a tactical cut, just about the same size as the seam bust on the left and start to patch them up in a criss-cross pattern reminiscent of Fiona Grave's costume.

"If my calculations are correct, this should be good enough to hold as long as we don't anything too leg-driven out there..." you explain, switching over to the left side and

"Thanks for all of this, really" Tsuyako says as you quickly patch her costume up, then get up off of your knees give her a look, studying her overall costume quality and how the design meshes with your patch-work modifications...
>>
>>30100628

You see yourself going over to Tsuyako's left side and patching up her seam as best as you could, wondering if you saw a ghost assume your form as you blink, then ask "Tsuya? Could you get up and do a few squats so I can check the seam?"

"Sure" ou hear her say as she gets up out of your chair, does a few leg stretches and then does the "Shit-Sit", as her mom would call it, the seam seemingly holding pretty well as she does one more to "Double-Check" the strength of it.

"It'll have to do... I'd tell Fiona to grab a coat or something to throw over you in case it breaks" you tell her, motioning her to head out as your match is about to start, telling her "I think I can handle that move you were talking about, but I'd like you to finish with it, if possible."

"OK" she replies as you watch her walk off to the stage, worried a little about those seams as you follow her...

"Good evening everybody and Welcome back to "Tuesday Night Thunder"! I'm Jerry Cole, with me as always is my partner-in-crime "Big C" Jones-"

"-Wassup out Dere free world?! We rollin' in this tonight mang! Live from South Town Municipal baby; Shout-Outs to my Homies Lucky G. & Heavy D!" "Big C" yells, flashing an intricate "Gang Sign" on live TV as Cole shakes his head, obviously none too pleased at his co-chair's antics but not skipping a beat as he gets into his next line of introductions.

"Joining us for this next match, fresh from the defending the Intercontinental Title earlier tonight from Joey Rodgers, the most dangerous man in the SWF, David Wessel!"

"Hey come on man, this Title's got a 24/7 clause on it; I need to lay my hands down and start looking at "Free For Brawl" on Sunday so I can keep this bad boy with me" David says, showing off his shiny new belt to the cameras before they cut to an exterior shot of the arena itself.

"Right you are Dave and speaking of which, one of the surprisingly big stories coming into "Free For Brawl" is the Divas Tag-Team Title, which after a long reign by "The Divas of Destruction" is starting to get challenged by the upstart Rookie "The Angel" and tonight, one of part of her tag-team is going up against "Tsunami Tsuyako" in Singles Match! Let's go ringside for introductions from our MC, Markus Fenrich!"
>>
>>30103632

The TV Cameras cut to an older-looking man with greying hair, his suited-build suggesting that he could've been a wrestler at some point in his life as the Stadium's Lights dim, the sounds on a drum beat transitioning into a 90's-Era synthesizer as the spotlight glares on him.

"The Following match is scheduled for ONE FALL! On her way to the ring, from Okinawa, Japan... Weighing in at an UNBELIEVABLE 209 Lbs and accompaned by Ultima, one half of "The Divas of Destruction", TSUUNAAAMMMIIIIIIII TSUYAKOOOOOOOOO!!!!"

Tsuyako walks down the ramp, her body language trying to be a little bit flirtatious with the crowd but obviously not quite at-ease as "Ultima" (Fiona Graves in copious amounts of face-paint) glares back at the fans, yelling something in a foriegn language as they walk down the aisle.

"She's deffinitely one of the more gifted competitors out there on technical skill, but Tsunami Tsuyako hasn't really done much to try and escape Ultima's shadow" Cole remarks.

"Damn... I'll tell you one thing though, Sue-Yah-Cole's looking FINE tonight!" Big C yells, leering at her figure "Dancing" as she gets into the ring.

"WHAT?" Wessel asks, genuinely incredulous at "Big C's" remarks.

"Hey man, I LIKE big-boned women!"

"You gotta be kidding me! She looks like a roll of pressed ham squeezed herself into some porn star's bathing suit!" Wessel retorts.

"Well I just love bitches" Big C half Mumbles as Cole again shakes his head at them, knowing that a remark like that's going to get the three of them in trouble with the head of the SWF later.

"AAAAAANNNDDD her opponent..." Markus says, but pauses as the lights of the stadium start to flicker, then shut off completely, an eerie feeling overcomming the stadium.
>>
>>30103914

"And it seems that we've got a... Power Outage?" Cole wonders aloud as Tsuyako & Ultima look out in confusion, the crowd equally wondering what's up right now...

"I'dunno what tha heyle's goin'on mang, but I don't like it at all!" Big C remarks.

David says "Ah, quit being a baby, we're just sitting in the dark" before getting cut off by the strains of an haunting organ, a creepy-looking image going up on the stadium's titantron as Big C Yells "Oooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhh here we go!" as new, slightly accented voice yells through the stadium.

"AAAAAANNNNDDD Her opponent! From Marsielle, France and weighing in at 155 Lbs... Straight out of Retirement, one of the greatest women to EVER set foot in an SWF ring! The Queen the Insanely Violent Lightning herself" the voice pauses, getting a deep breath as he(Yashiro Nanakase) yells " SHEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRMMMMMMiIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEE!!!!!!!!!"

A bolt of lightning strikes down from the stage as the lights go up, the theme music abruptly changing over to a driving Electric Guitar as Shermie poses on the stadium entrance, her arm up before slowly bringing it down cutting the air, then smilling as she playfully walks down the aisle.

"OH MY GOD, one of the greatest Women's champions in South Town Wrestling's History has RETURNED! You can't make this up!" Coleexclaimsm cranking the "Cheese & Ham-Factor" up to 11 as David looks at him like he came from the moon.

"I'dunno, I think Shermie mighta just walked into some 'shtuff' on this one tonight man. I always say "Get some want some, you better be big enough and bad enough to take some" 'Cause tonight, it's gone be Oooooooon like a Reeve Porter neckbone dawg!" Big C exclaims as Shermie seductively steps over the middle of the ring ropes...

"Oh lord..." Cole lets out, breaking "Kayfabe" a little as the match starts, regaining his composure and adding "But we're now underway! You can just FEEL the electricity in the air tonight from South Town Municipal Stadium!"

"Yeah man, you see it as they lock up; They're really fired up and just goin' for it" David quips as Shermie tries to initiate a grab, only for Tsuyako to fake her out and spin around to her back.

"And you can see the dazzling technical skill of these two competitors already! Can they even get a hit in on each other?" Cole exclaims as Shermie & Tsuyako go back-and-forth, countering each other's grabs before Shermie finally Irish Whips Tsyuako into one of the turnbuckles, "Ultima" slamming her fists down on the mat as Shermie runs up and hits her with a "Hip-Check".

"And it looks like I spoke too soon as Shermie THRUSTS into Tsuyako!" Cole comments as Tsuyako slumps to the lowest rung of the turnbuckle, sitting on the floor as Shermie grins, obviously playing the "Heel" role tonight.

"And LOOK at her just grind her heel into TsuyakooOHWait Minute! She gets out of it and KICKS her right in the head!" Cole remarks, Tsuyako Shermie clutching her head momentarily as Tsuyako delivers a "Belly-to-Back Suplex".

"Sue-yah's go a lot of moves... I don't know what they are, but they're better than anything I've ever seen before!" Big C exclaims as Tsuyako locks Shermie into a Fujiwara Armbar.

"And here we go with a submission!" Cole dutifully yells.

"Seems a little early for that right now mang" Big C asks, Shermie slowly trying to move over to the corner ropes.

"I;dunno, I think she's trying to stop Shermie's momentum a little; Reign in the pace and slow the match down before she goes crazy with the counter holds again" David remarks as Shermie finally gets to grab a hold of a "Rope", the referee starting to count Tsuyako out.

"And here Tsuyako starts to show off her WAIT! She breaks off the hold!"
>>
>>30105471

Tsuyako lets Shermie go, rolling back up to her feet and brushing her shoulders off as Shermie catches her off-guard with a hand-slap, then hitting her with an outstretched arm (Partially looking like most other wrestlers Taunts) before performing a "Backwalk" into her.

"OH MY! Shermie's not holding anything back tonight as she's RIPPING into Tsuyako like a rabid dog right now!" Cole yells, the ham and cheesyness only going up as Shermie finishes the Combination of attacks with her "Shermie Spiral" throw, sitting up on Tsuyako's Shoulder's before twisting her body around with force of her legs (Sinilar to a Luchadore's "Hurricanrana").

"I'dunno mang, Sue-Yah-Cole she gone fly right now, she gonna get caught up in the lights again. She gonna fly. WHOAH!!!" Big C rambles as Tsuyako rolls out of Shermie's follow-up attack ("Shermie-Cute") and connects her with with a dropkick that launches Shermie out towards the corner where Ultima's at, ranting and raving in Icelandic as Tsuyako runs towards Shermie, leaps over her counter-attack attempt to bounce off the tope-rope and hit her with an outstretched leg (A Psuedo-"Divekick"), knocking her down hard onto the mat as Tsuyako stumbles a little...

"What INCREDIBLE athleticism from Tsunami Tsuyako there!" Cole exclaims as Tsuyako gets up and rolls to Shermie's right, dodging two standing kicks and sweeping her off of her feet with a free leg.

"See, THAT'S what I'm talkin' 'bout right 'Dere: Quick, fast, agile, and MO-BILE!" Big C yells, watching Tsuyako landing a elbow drop to Shermie.

"Jones, what in the hell ARE you talkin about?" David asks as Shermis grabs a hold of Tsuyako's arm and Whips her into an intricate-looking submission (A "Leg Trap Camel Clutch") as Tsuyako starts to wriggle around, trying to break free of the hold...

"Wow, I've never even SEEN a Hold like that before! How could ANYONE get out of that?!" Cole asks, Tsuyako trying to wriggle free as Shermie applies more and more pressure...

I used to participate in online Wrestling Federations using whatever SvR game was out at the time (Up to SvR '07), so the commentary and how the flow of a match goes is fairly easy for me to write IMHO.

>>30106331

"Yeah but if there's a will, there's a way" David remarks as the referee starts to count Shermie out, not relenting until a "4" count as she gets up and kicks Tsyuako in the stomach, glaring down at her for a brief moment before blowing kisses into the crowd, the "Marks" booing almost instantly as Tsuyako scrambles to her feet.

"And you can see that Shermie's last hold might've got the better of Tsunami Tsuyako; She just doesn't seem to have the sayOH MY GOD, what a SICKENING impact that was!" Cole yells as Tsuyako grapples with Shermie for a little bit, more interested in doing a "Test of Strength" before actually getting a move in, Shermie clumsily missing her counter-hold as Tsuyako lands a "German Suplex" on her.

"Damn, dat girl right dere got somethin' else, I'll tell you what" Big C notes as Cole juts back in, trying to bridge the flow of the match.

"And Shermie goes up for a "Wake-Up" dropkick but Tsuyako slaps it away like swatting a fly" he states while Tsuyako does a body splash on to Shermie, knocking the wind out of her and leaving her gasping a little as Tsuyako goes to lock in a submission...

"Yeah, you can really see the ring rust Shermie has right now; Tsuyako's just rolling along like a freight train" David interjects as Shermie grabs Tsuyako and goes for a "Craddle Pin".

"Uh-Oh! Here's da cover mang!" Big C yells as Tsuyako only BARELY gets out at a "2" count, Shermie looking up at the referee in disgust just long enough for Tsuyako roll away, run back into the ropes and propell off of them to land a "Flying Forearm Smash".

"Look at the acrobatics of Tsunami Tsuyako after that! She kicked herself up without using the ropes!" Cole yells, truly surprised at a woman Tsuyako's size doing "Lucha" moves.
>>
Sorry for the delays; Connection's getting wonky

>>30107204

"I think she's some kinda of Sumo Ninja or somethin' mang, she ain't normal" Big C adds as Tsuyako grabs Shermie and tries to set up another Suplex, but Shermie jumps out of it and sets up her DM, the crowd on the edge of their seats while Cole at the announcer's table just loses it and starts screaming:

"This is it! THE SHERMIE FLASH! Not even the greatest wrestlers in SWF history could break out of this pin!"

The crowd starts to chant along with the referee, almost hitting the magic number "3" before Ultima jumps over the ropes and breaks up the pin, nearly getting disqualified from the match as she barely was able to get out of the ring in time before Shermie gets up and grabs the ref by the shoulder, screaming in his face in VERY rude French while Tsuyako slowly gets up, not quite sure how she got out of that one...

"I don't BELIEVE IT! Shermie had set up her pin PERFECTLY, but then Ultima breaks it up and DOESN'T get DQ'ed?!" Cole asks, mirroring the crowd's reaction.

"Yeah, wut da heyle mang!? She HAD that pin and was ready to walk out o'dis the victor when the crazy redhead bust it up! Somebody call the Police!" Big C concurs.

"Shermie got robbed on that one, sure, but look in the eyes of Tsuyako as she tries to regain her composure; She's got it man, you can't deny that she's still in this fight" David interects, noting the determined look on Tsuyako's face.

"Look in the eyes of Shermie though" Big C replies, Cole and David both looking at him funny.

"How CAN you see her eyes; Her hair's covering them like a mask!" Cole asks as Tsuyako charges forward, catching Shermie off-guard with a Flying Armbar that transitions into an rather intricate submission, looking a bit like an Inverted, Reverse Figure-Four Leg Lock, except Tsuyako stands up, crosses Shermie's legs and leans backward while grabbing them, Shermie wriggling like a freshly-caught fish as she tries to break free.
>>
>>30108062

"What move iz dat!? I don't even know what to CALL dat right dere!" Big C asks, confised as to what he's seeing go down.

"The Deep-Sea Fisherman!" Tsunami Tsuyako's going-all out to win now!" Cole explains, though both David doesn't eaxctly agree with him.

"I'dunno, I think she's jumping the gun here; I mean sure, it's a hell of a move but does it REALLY do enough damage to her legs to force a submission?" he asks, Shermie trying to lay her hands down on the mat as the referee gets distracted by Ultima yelling something about "Flying into the electric stars of space" (Or something...)...

Basically, but Shermie's hanging upside down with her head on the mat; The Haas Brothers when they were in the WWE came up with the variant Tsuyako's using as her "Weak" finisher.

>>30108258
>>30108789

"This is just cowardly; Now Ultima's distracting the referee so Tsunami Tsuyako can keep the hold!? How low can the Divas of Destruction GO after displaying tactics like this?!" Cole rhetorically asks as Shermie tries to slowly break the submission, Tsuyako using her body weight to try and keep her from wriggling free.

"Mang, you gotta loosen up; They ain't got chairs or chains out yet... Hell, back when I wrestled in Waco that's all you did! Take a hit to the back with a chair, go after another brutha with a baseball bat or a lead pipe, some times a guitar... Shoot homie, I onced assaulted another dude with a wet mop when da ref wasn't lookin'!" Big C tells him as the Referee starts to count Tsuyako out again, stopping at "2" only because she couldn't immediately get herself untangled from Shermie.

"And like I said, not enough to submit, but maybe enough to put a hamper on Shermie's speed?" David aks as Tsuyako taunts Shermie, slapping her cheeks with her hands and pulling her headband back a little tighter as Shermie slowly gets up, her legs seeming as though they really DID take a lot of damage as she spits at Tsuyako's feet.

"Folks we're here to remind you that there will be NO commercial breaks before OR during tonight's main event: A Hardcore Tripple-Threat Tag-Team with The Road Hogz, The Playa's Club and The Joker Brothers!" Cole plugs as Tsuyako & Shermie stare each other down, both of them breathing hard...

"Exactly the kind of gig I cut my teeth on Cole; It's gonna be on FIRE tonight!" Big C says as Tsuyako and Shermie lock up in the center of the ring, Shermie's pure strength being matched by Tsuyako's weight advantage as the two of them lock heads down in a Rugby-Like struggle as one tries to throw the other...
>>
>>30109088

Ultimately, the "Scrum" goes in Shermie's favor when she performs her ""Baku New Suplex", knocking Tsuyako down and trying to hit her with her "Shermie Cute" follow-up attack.

However, Tsuyako dodges the move and tackles Shermie, putting her in a "Full-Mount" position and landing a few blocked punches to her face before trying to get Shermie in a more "Traditional" "Boston Crab" submission hold, Shermie wriggling out of it and slamming Tsuyako back down onto the ground with her "Diamond Bust" attack, the crowd wowed by her tenacity and how BRUTAL the attack looked.

"God bless America, I think she just got DESTROYED!" David quips, trying to reference a favourite fighting game of his as Shermie looks down at her opponent, sneering at her as she heads up to the top Turn Buckle, blows kisses to the crowd for a little bit and waits for Tsuyako gets up, a little woozy after that last hit...

"And it

"AHAHHHH HERE WE GO! SHE GOIN' FLY NOW!!!"

"Tsuyako'S Reeling and Shermie's about toOH MY GOD ALMIGHTY!!!"

The commentators are going nuts at what's transpiring in the ring, their voices sounding like the came from a pentecostal church and full of emotion as Shermie flies towards Tsuyako from the Top Rope, her shoulder leaning forward to try and possibly hit her. However, Tsuyako's luck turns in her favour as she takes the hit, but catches Shermie's body and grabs her, leaping backwards and setting up the finishing move her mother Hatsune had used throughout her career: "The Eye of the Storm", the one that she had talked to Shermie about using and caused her original opponent for tonight's match to basically quit.

Despite the fairly sloppy set-up, the execution of the move was impeccable as Tsuyako spun Shermie around before dropping her on her chest, the impact deafening as the two of them laid there for a moment, Tsuyako, weakly holding up Shermie's leg and pinning her down for "1-2-3!"
>>
>>30110065

"INCREDIBLE! ABSOLUTELY Incredible!" Cole screams, his voice almost starting to waver as Ultima helps Tsuyako up, hugging her and ju,ping up and down with Joy before the referee holds her hand up, the bell ringing to signal theend of the match.

"SUE-YAH CAME OUT AND DID SHERMIE LIKE SHE SHOULD BE DONE, MADE HER BOWL DOWN, MADE HER PAY MY SOME, MADE HER GO 'MOMMY I DON'T WANT NONE'!!! " Big C screams, drawing off the Energy of the crowd.

David Wessel Jr. calmly gets up, grabs his microphone and says "Damn dudes, I think she just went "Kawaii-No-Ken" on her ass!", pausing before adding "Well, that was a hell of a lot a fun, but I got to get back to work", grinning as he grabs his Title Belt and walks away, sliding into the ring and always wanting to try something...

"David Wessel, Intercontinental Champion here; You just beat one of the Living Legends of the SWF: How do you feel right now!?" He asks her, Tsuyako overcome with emotion as she catches her breath, her costume practically hanging on by the slightest of threads...

"Too much, just too much" she tells him, her cute accent drawing a small chorous of boos and hisses, though the overall effect hasn't been diminished in the slightest: Tsunami Tsuyako Vs. Shermie brought the house down and probably stole the Main Event right under it's nose and everyone involved couldn't be happier... The executives upstairs watching it all unfold? Indifferent, as long as the money rolls in... Which it could, as Tsuyako's costume practically falls apart on Live TV, Ultima covering her up with a black trench coat so that nothing really gets shown (Or rather, "Just Enough"gets shown...)

"Mang I'll tell you what, while that was a hot fight, I DONT KNOW BA' CHU' BUT IM EXCITED AS HALE FO' TONIGHT DAWG!" Big C yells, getting hiscompusre back after seeing Tsuyako's costume pop open like that...

"Right you are Big C; We'll be back with the Main Event Tonight on "Tuesday Night Thunder! Don't go away!"

You get carted off to the medical center, playing up your injuries for the crowd and feeling excited about tonight, though you wonder how sore you'll be tomorrow when you see Yashiro wating for you outside of the sick bay, his arms crossed but smiling.

"Ah, but you don't know who you're talking to, yes? I'm a legend!" You tease, Yashiro still holding you tight as you look up to him, whispering "You had a hand in that, no?"

"Pretty much, yeah" he admits.

Tsuyako then cuts in, asking "How're you holding up? I know that move at the end was a little harsh, but..."

"It was alright; No worse than getting hit by an attack from The Ikari Soldiers" you reply, adding "I like how you transitioned into it though; I would've went for a bodysplash if I had recognized what you were going to do earlier..."

Fiona quickly says "Go ahead; I'll be right with you" while putting on a "Party-Mask" of-sorts of the colors of her "Normal" facepaint and squats down to the girl, getting to her eye-level.

"Can I have your autograph?"

"Of course! The Little Ultimas all across the galaxy are what give me strength!" you hear her say, watching her slip back into a slightly softer "Kayfabe" as you walk away, not wanting to intrude on such a private moment...

"She really likes the little ones, eh?" you ask Tsuyako, thinking about Chris a little (As the girl had the same kind of guileless smile he once had)...

"Yeah, she's really great with kids; It's kind of why they're pushing our team to lose the Tag-Team Titles at the Pay-Per-View on Sunday but turn us Face so we can start an arc where we get a third party to "reform" us... Plus, to be honest, we both prefer acting in a "Good" light, no matter how much freedom you can get while being a Heel to make suff up on the fly..." Tsuyako explains, rambling a little as you stop at your cars, waiting for Fiona to head on over.

"Is that why you sort of froze when David put the microphone to your face?" you ask, hearing what she had said.

"Yeah... It's weird; The booking team says "Act more like your mom did in her prime", but having seen her matches and watched her in-prime interviews... I don't think they want my mom; They want ME, because my mom got away with a ton of shit that NO company on earth would tolerate" she admits.

"Fuck man, It's just stories for retards; Why the hell do you have to make suck a big deal over it?" Yashiro bluntly asks, though a familiar voice answers him before you could.

"Because you gotta let your kids believe in something while they grow up" Fiona says, Yashiro turning around and looking at him eye-to-eye.

"Whatever..." Yashiro mumbles, dropping the subject before Fiona "Popped" him one.

"Yashi-Kun, you're being rude" you tell him as you say to Fiona "We'll follow you two OK?"

Fiona nods as Tsuyako gets into the driver's seat, warming up the engine as you get in Yashiro's truck (Bought mostly for the spacious seats rather than function) as you sleep a little on the wat, Yashiro waking you up as he honked his horn at the "Bone-headed moves" certain drivers made though the ride itself was uneventful, save for Yashiro blurting out "So that one chick that modelled for beat up Chris."

"Hmm? Katja? What about her?" you drearily ask, drowsy and "Hitting The Wall" by 9 PM.

"Well, seems like he tried to assault some guys in a hotel and she kicked his ass."

"Good... He gave up the right to ressurect him a long time ago, as have I" you muble, drifting back to sleep before Yashiro's strong hands wake you up, telling you that you've arrived.

"Ritzy..." you think out loud with a yawn, Tsuyako & Fiona both observing that something's "Off" with the place tonight...

"The place looks dead dude..." Fiona says, the lack of customers and patrons a bit troubling.

"It IS only Tuesday though..." Tsuyako mentions as you walk inside, spotting two indentically blonde Twins wiping off some tables and cleaning up some broken glass and a rather Androgynous-Looking Beauty up at the bar polishing glasses.

"Welcome to La Illusion; What Can I get all of you?" she asks as you overhear Fiona say "Hey King; What's up with the all the space tonight? Place's usually pretty packed."

"Some fuckwit tried to start a fight and injured a few people, knocked over some beer... You know, the usual bar-hopper I suppose" King explains as you follow Yashiro to a booth, Tsuyako & Fiona joining you shortly.

"Sounds like him, huh?" Yashiro asjs as you lazily nod, thonking that this might be a bad idea as one of the twins hands you a menu and a wine List...

>A. Order some Cheap Champagne and drink the night away; Just pray that Yashiro doesn't wamt to arm-wrestle you over who'd going to be the designated Driver (Roll 1d100 for Luck in that last field)

>B. Try your luck with some Beer and see if what the bartender suggests (roll 1d110 for Luck that King's taste for alchahol comes close to mayching/matches yours)

>C. Hit the Spirits tonight; Maybe some whisky, or a Vodka Martini or something classy...

>D. You don't really feel like drinking tonight; Maybe a soda from their draft, or a fruit drink or something would suit your fancy tonight (Roll 1d100 for Luck that :a Illusion has something like that somewhere on the menu)

>E. Tell Yashiro that you're not really feeling it tonight; You need to go home and rest before you open in the morning at you shop...

Shermie came out of retirement, if only for one match. Why not honor the occasion?

Youj fee like ordering up some "Spirits" for tonight, telling the girl "'I'll have a Vodka Martini; Shaken please, not stirred please", your voice in a not-quite purr as the waitress relays your order and you struggle to stay awake long enough for it to arrive as you catch yourself nodding off a few times before Yashiro nudges your shoulder.

"Hey, you sure you still wanna stay out babe? You're looking awfully tired" he asks, Fiona & Tsuyako both wordlessly listening with him over your words.

"I don't know Yashie-Kun, I'm just getting tired rather quickly today" you tell him, yawning for a little bit.

"Dude, no one's forcing you two to stay; You sound beat" Fiona admits, npting your lack of overall energy.

"Yeah, It's OK; We can go out with you another time or something" Tsuyako concurs as your drink arrives along with Yashiro's beer he had ordered as Fiona & Tsuyako cautiously sip at their own concoctions....

>A. Gracefully bow out and have a certain someone drive you home (Roll 2d1000 for Yashiro's Luck in dealing with the traffic tonight and Speed in getiing to Shermie's place)

>B. Stay on start up a binge you only vaguely want to remember.

>C. Stay by Yashiro's side and do what he does tonight; You're a little too tired to stand on your own two feet tonight. (Roll 3d100 for Luck that Yashiro stays at La Illusion, Luck in dealing with the traffic tonight and Speed in getiing to Shermie's place)

>D. Time-Skip to 5/16 and assume Direct Control of Katja Hartkern

>E. Go on a "Dream Sequence" as Katja, waking up on 5/16.

If everyone else says we're tired, then we should take a break.

But not before we polish off this drink.

I'll assume that's 2d100, not 2d1000.

Shermie tired. Tiger tired. Both sleep nao.
Tempted to try the massive roll, but I'll assume a typo.

You glance back your drink and let out a long sigh, downing it almost one gulp before drowsily admitting "You're correct; I'm just not in the mood for this tonight... I appologise."

"Hey, it's no problem; That match left me pretty tired too" Tsuyako replies, sipping from her Soda.

"Yeah... We'll see you around OK Shermie?" Fiona asks as you get up, head over to the overside of the booth and give Fiona & Tsuyako quick hugs, Yashiro escorting you out to his truck as King waves at the two of you as well.

"I'dunno if this looks good for our chances for the tournament bane" Yashiro thinks out loud, concerned at your lack of stamina.

"You shouldn't worry too much; I was up at 6 AM designing the new fall collection when I was summoned and I only had two big meals today..." you reply, Yashiro all-but-carrying you into his truck as you sink into the seat while falling asleep.

Yashiro nods and kisses you on the forehead, then starts the truck up and drives off to your appartment up near "Meadows Park" on the far east side of South Town, the traffic thinning out as he safely drives you there, arriving at around 10:45 PM.

"Hey Shermie; We're here" Yashiro whispers, shaking trying to shake you from a deep slumber.

Shrugging, Yashiro carries you "Bridal Style" out of his truck all the way up to your cozy appartment on the 3rd floor, getting a few looks from the neighboors but nothing too bad as he sets your body down, finds the spare key and opens the door, flicking on the lights while gently "walking" you inside, getting your costume off until you're left wearing your Red, one-piece Leotard (All while inside you place, of course!)

"G'night goddess" he whispers in your ear, tucking you into bed before putting your cellphone & keys near your bedstand (As you had forgoten to bring them with you, such was your"Mad Dash" to get out quickly) and locks the front door behind him before driving off into the night, heading to his place down in China Town...
