You are Reinhold, master swordsman and victor of the Royal Swordsmanship Tournament. The King was so impressed with your skill, he personally requested that you be transferred out of the army and into the Royal Guard! Not bad for an orphan who was raised in a brothel in a poor fishing village. The only issue at this point is your assignment... you've been charged to be the personal guard of the King's only daughter Marianne. While she is the vision of loveliness that you'd expect from a Princess, her personality is... well... she seems to have some issues.Yesterday was a super eventful day, what with the duels and broken swords and flying little girls and (hopefully) foiled marriage plots and now you have a girlfriend kinda! Here's hoping that today's a bit less stressful, all this drama isn't good for your heart.>Sorry, but you've been stripped down to the rank of DOG!>Though dogs are loyal, they're not all that smart...>Though she still considers you her friend, she thinks a little less of you... and also herself.>And while dogs are man's best friend, they still don't count as people.Thread archive:http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?searchall=Princess+Guard+QuestCharacter list + descriptions (in progress):http://pastebin.com/1Vhj4DJvList and descriptions of the spells shown thus far:http://pastebin.com/2c9y2sDMTwitter:https://twitter.com/QM_ArchelonQuest compilation that's kindly maintained by a person who isn't me:https://www.dropbox.com/sh/n4nhs9gd0kmnnni/04tpEy5_pe>>>>>>>>
The warm rays of the sun draw you back into the realm of the awake, though you'd rather stay in bed because of how cold it is... the overall temperature has gradually been going down over the past month or so, and you really don't want to think about snow. You REALLY don't want to think about snow. But then you remember that you mostly work indoors nowadays, and the gratefulness you feel for your present situation is enough to drive you out of the bed and to your feet. After checking your watch for the time (it's currently 6:45) and making sure that the remains of your sword are still where you left them before going to sleep (they are, thank God), you get dressed and bathed. After adjusting your bracelet and fastening Agnes's sword to your belt, you're now ready for the day!>what shall be the first order of business?
Sylvie is shit
>>29984826>check on MarianneStill gotta do our job
...I thought we were a wolf again.Or did I miss something?
>>29984826See if anyone else is up.Also arch you put Melanie down as a mage in the pastebin in her description.

>>29984826didn't we go up to wolf by helping the princess get out of the marriage
>>29984852Seconded
>>29984826Have we left Marconetti yet?If not, we should probably gather our belongings if we are to leave soon. Daily reminder we DID get the children's drawing!
>>29984805Wait I thought we got back to wolf a couple of days ago?
>>29984826Wait, didn't we go back to wolf?See if Marianne is up, if she isn't than don't disturb her. If she's around then chat with her, ask for her advice on how to handle the Sylvie situation with as little pain and suffering as possible. If she's not, then get some fresh air and maybe draw a picture of the landscape.
>>29984826Tell Marianne a bad pun or two, then try to find out what it was that the king wanted in return for calling off the betrothal.

Oh man oh man ohman. I'm finally posting on a PGQ thread. First time I post after reading all of the archives.So... Are we locked into Luci's route now?T-That's ok. I only want everyone to be happy.Muh Marianne ;_;FUCK YOU, ARCH. 10/10

>>29984873Well I doubt Andreas if getting married to Elena or Chiara and Gregory would've told us already if he was marrying Luciana. So my guess is that Monique might take his place as Elena's bodyguard OR he might be getting married off to one of the older sisters.
>>29984989trust me it was more painful for people actually voting.i don't even had a waifu and i followed this quest from thread 3 and felt bad for guys who had "lost"

>>29985070All of her older siblings are already hitched IIRC, so it's more likely than not the bodyguard thing given that Andreas is going to be angry about it.
>>29984873Monique is Elena's new body guard. Calling right here and now.
>>29985003you cad
>>29984977Team LuciAnd Anon went very efficiently about immediately telling the people who can ensure that it will never be undone (Gregory, Nicolette, Marianne)It's over. The waifu war is over. >>29985036Neither will ever exist.
>>29985083>i don't even had a waifu and i followed this quest from thread 3 and felt bad for guys who had "lost"I find it incredibly bizarre how attached these people are.I mean these are words on a screen on an anonymous imageboard using images of other characters for illustration, and even these characters didn't exist six months ago. Peace in our lifetime, gentlemen.Unless Arch does something hilarious and just kills off whoever our waifu turned out to be and send us on a murderhobo quest.
>>29985199Gregory specifically mentioned that the new deal would piss Andreas right the fuck off.

>>29985120>Marianne is marrying Whats-his-face-pussy-kid.But Reinhold is already routelocked to Luci.
>>29985201YeahI can ship this.I can ship the hell out of this.
Maybe Celestino thought Monique was gay and is gonna order Andreas to be his husbando.Because of course, someone with a nickname like "Knight of the Starry Sky" gotta be gay too, right?
>>29985225hot Lady lancer riding a baddass lady dragon, oh yeah.
Everyone's face when Nico turns out to be the sub to Meidos Domme
>>29985243This is fairly unlikely given that Gregory would've likely been just as furious with this as with the Luciana scenario.
>>29985201Nico gets all the waifus we didn't. She seems to have inherited our accidental harem get powers
>>29985243That seems less likely because Greg would lose his shit over that too
>>29985243Doubtful, on the grounds that Gregory would just as apeshit over that as he did over Luci.
>>29985019>>29985036Even if we could, everything would go down hard pretty fast. If we play with Luci and Sylvie's feelings like that we would just make Marianne disgusted at us for doing so, and we would break their hearts figuratively, and the Gregory would break ours literally.Unless, we "clarify" that we want to take it slow, maybe date a few times to see if we can do it, and then confirm our love for [INSERT WAIFU'S NAME HERE], maybe we could make it.Oh, who am I fooling.>>29985083>>29985116It's called Willing Suspension of Disbelief.I seriously statred to fell physically bad when Luci brought the news, and It was only made worse since I had only re-watched the ending of Madoka Magica. >>29985265Doesn't Lucianna have male siblings? Maybe Monique was promised to one of them?
>>29985233Rana strikes me as more of the kind of girl that acts tough and in charge, but actually wants a guy to push her down and administer multiple stern fuckings, not really much for the /u/boat tho
>>29985204I still find it funny that the duel caused more of a shitstorm than the end of the Waifu War did.Luci was my last choice, but come on, we've already said we're in a relation ship with Luci to Marianne AND Nicolette, Meido route was already confirmed closed off beforehand, even I'll admit it's a route lock in every way short of Arch saying "YOU'RE FUCKING ROUTE LOCKED"
>>29985287Which is why Nico will use her ''sealed king'' to ''slay the dragon''.
>>29985284Giancarlo is married to someone equally perverted, and all of Celestino's sons by his previous wife are either married (the youngest relatively recently), or are the one that fled and broke his heart temporarily.

>>29985315>The Fondle Princess guys from thread 1 make their triumphant return, knowing their waifu, the act of fondling, would win all along
>>29985243This is also likely. I mean she still is young but Celestino can definitely still use her as a bargaining chip for when she comes of age. I'm fairly sure shit like this happened in Medieval days all the time so...
>>29985304Really my only issue is that our actual relationship with Luci doesn't seem terribly developed. We've known her for like three days tops and she's always been more of a friend-of-a-friend in my books.

Had I been on previous thread, I would had been willing to give up Marianne Route If it was the only way to vancel the wedding with Monique, seeing as running away would just cause more trouble, and Luci would still be in love with Rein if she married Thierri Fuck, thierri and Reinhold are basically the same, except that Reinhold is younger and loves swords. But Rein would probably die to protect his friend, so why not give his entire life for one, if it meant making her happy? But then it got settled alright. She did always head to her room rather early back home in Granache, anyways."Hm?" alerted by the sound of your bedroom door opening, Marianne places her book down on the table and turns to face you. >>29986088This is more or less right.Circumstances conspired in such a way that Reinhold sort of went "for as much as I keep saying I'm not well-equipped for a relationship, this probably means I actually do like her." followed by "and now that you mention it, being in a relationship doesn't really require more than that from both parties, does it."Our talk with Citrine is a good thing to think back to.> "Just remember that most people aren't like -she- was, okay? >>29986476There were two, but it'd take a restructuring of seating arrangements if Sylvie didn't want to be in our car on the ride back, IIRC.There's no reason this should be necessary, though, unless Sylvie herself insists on it in order to get some time away while she punches things sadly in order to work through her feelings.>>29986539>>29986554I actually wanted this arrangement for this exact reason, honestly. Marianne replies."About Sylvie..." you sigh. "...how do you think I should break the news to her? I mean, I know that she liked me and I owe it to her as a friend to tell her that me and Luciana are a thing now, but...""That's right, she -did- have a massive crush on you," she shakes her head. "And I've known her my entire life, she's not going to take this well -at all-.""Yeah, that's why I'm asking you for advice," you say."You still want to be friends with her, I take it?" Marianne asks."Of course I do! The prospect of King Celestino making ANY kind of announcement after last night gives you kind of a sick feeling... but Sir Gregory said that Luciana was safe, so that's probably not what this is about, right? Luciana is YOURS, dammit. But whatever, time to push those bad thoughts away for now and focus on good things. Things like food. And Luciana."Hey, Marianne?" you call out."What is it now?" the Princess replies."Would you mind if I invited Luciana over to have breakfast with us?""I suppose that would be nice... go ahead," she nods."Thanks, I'll go and see if she's awake!"That was easier than you were expecting. But then again, Luciana -is- her best friend so she'd probably want to have breakfast with her regardless of anything that had to do with you. Waving goodbye to Marianne as you leave the room, you notice that the maid seems to have hit Sir Gregory's room last, seeing as how he's standing out in the hall with a rather annoyed expression and the maid's leaving this part of the hallway entirely... you kind of want to talk to him about what the announcement's supposed to be about, but you REALLY don't want to bug him so early in the morning. And especially not when he's already in a foul mood.Turning in the direction of Luciana's room, you start walking... and you notice that Andreas is waking towards you.>talk to him>don't talk to him

Guards to keep the place from being burgled, cleaning and kitchen staff to keep the place running, stables to maintain the beasts to pull their carriage, and so on and so forth. She's getting on in years and her only other living relative only stops by rarely. It's not as prestigious of a position as Royal Bodyguard, but I couldn't imagine he'd find Agnes poor company, nor would she dislike having him around. Not to mention that Elena'd be ecstatic if it meant she could see all of her favorite people in one place.Just an idea to consider.

"And I'm not able to open it without being invited in, so...""...oh. You think something's wrong?""Nah, she's probably harassing Gregory or something... and he just happens to be right over there. As Andreas comes walking back your way, you call out to him."Umm, did something bad happen?" you ask. "The King's not trying to replace you with Monique as Elena's bodyguard, is he?""No..." Andreas shakes his head. "...if he did that, I'd bitch him out myself. It's just... god damn it I worked so goddamned long and this piece of garbage stumbles across a Sealed King and cheats in a duel and suddenly he's top shit..."Damn, he seems really pissed."If I'm not prying, is it okay if I asked you what exactly...""Don't worry, I'm not mad at you or anything," Andreas says, sighing. "And I guess it kind of concerns you, too.""Ugh... anyways, that little bitch is getting knighted," Andreas says. "With a full title and all that shit, under the orders of King Celestino himself.""What!?" you shout. "But he's not even a citizen of this country, I mean-""Gregory said that this was the best compromise that they could come up with, I guess he wanted something else but Gregory wouldn't say what exactly," he sighs. "And your King's cool with it too. So it's all up to that asshole to accept, and there's no doubt in my mind that he will."While you're happy that this isn't a last-minute revival of the engagement scheme, you're not at all happy that Monique's being pretty much rewarded for carving you up like he did. In fact, you'd really like to punch him in his stupid face again."Just... god damn it, I worked for most of my life to get this stupid title, and I spent almost an entire YEAR at the border between here and Ancellotta, dodging fireballs and rooting out spies JUST to get to where I am now, and this guy's pretty much pissed all over my entire life with this shit," Andreas says"Yeah..." you sigh."Sorry to push all this on you, I know you have better things to do than listen to my bitching.">[1/?]

>>29987951Because guys like Andreas worked their asses off to get knighted, and Monique is literally gifted the position because "lol, Sealed King".
>>29987951I'm not quite sure you quite understand exactly how big a deal being a knight in this setting is.People devote their entire lives to becoming one. Like Andreas. Or Nicolette.
>>29987935Nico's hatred would skyrocket after this.
>>29987935That's not so bad. I mean, even without the sealed king, Arch confirmed he's pretty much responsible for the borders being safer to travel than they've been in decades, comparable to how Andreas got his knighthood. This is maybe a two or three year shortcut for him, at the most. Still Kind of bullshit though.
>>29987999At least he's going to get a stupid title we can make fun of.
Fucking roflI just popped in to see how the quest was doing and I can see that there are no brakes on the Monique train. Best of luck, people who stayed, you'll need it when Monique rises to power and you have to kiss his boots every morning.
>>29987928>>29988005Yeaaaah, she's not going to be so happy at first. That said, if she tries to vent to us about how this isn't fair, we've got the perfect avenue to talking her down from her rage. She's already dedicated herself to a path. If becoming a Knight was really her only goal she could've just gone right back to sword/magic and resigned her Guard post in favor of seeking glory and been there already. She's not just trying to become a Knight; she's trying to become a Knight in a way that her grandfather would've been proud of. And we, for one, think she's still doing a damn good job of it.

>>29987951We don't, Every character who is a knight or striving to be a knight in this setting? Pretty much pissed off. The title itself is mostly toilet paper it seems. Get magic artifact -> Become Knight. Or in Nico's case, work ass off -> don't ever become knight because of that very minor skill barrier she can't overcome.

So, Arch... >>29988032well, she did win a bit by default, but seeing how well monique is liked around her, i'm sure we could just have sent aquaman or red mist to stop the bullshit without getting too involved, something like "i want you to have a better future than that, but i already love someone else" and with all her grimoires, what tells you we're not under her spell?
>>29988060>weMore like "The vote was presented every day we were here until it finally passed".Surprise, ask the same question as a vote enough, eventually the fucking vote is going to go through. Which is what happened, we had the option of route-locking Luci at least twice before now but we dodged it, it just so happened that the voters that night were higher for Luci than anyone else. So they won. You realize there's more people reading this than just you, right? And that in every strawpoll, Luci is maybe 40% of the vote, usually less compared to Marianne voters?

"If you wield one of these old Kings, come to Marconetti and prove your mettle like this young man, and claim the fruits of your valor."All the serious business people who have one won't blink, but the littler guys who happened across one? They've got to have a pretty good reason to turn down the almost guaranteed Nobility if they show up at Celestino's doorstep rather than staying out and working their asses to the bone as an adventurer without a backing.>>29988283"Andreas is about to wander off through the entire castle looking for, you know. Inaba was scratching at the door so he knew you were out, but didn't know where. I think he'd probably be happy if you caught him before he wanders too far.""And good morning to you as well, Luciana."
>>29988345>>29988356These work, really, but the way Andreas said to tell Gregory if we found Elena before he did sort of implied that Gregory would be easier to find than Andreas himself. So, invite 'em both to get ready then suggest we stop off with Greg first?
>>29988380That seems like a mighty big risk, since he risks undermining his existing knights like Andreas.
>>29988356>Well, at least your father can't accuse *me* of keeping you up all night. IYETalso +1
So when Monique gets Knighted, I want to just smile and clap for him. Just like we would if it was someone we didn't hate.Just to fuck with him.Because he'll look at us with the smug fucking look on his face. And he'll see us smiling and clapping like we're actually happy for him. And he'll wonder why, and it'll eat at him, because he just KNOWS there is no way that scumbag whoreson Reinhold would ever be happy over something like this. It'll eat at him.
>>29988407He's already sort of throwing it in their faces with this regardless, so it's clear enough that he thinks that having Sealed Kings under his purview is more important than having more exclusive ranks of Knighthood. You don't just say "Sealed King = Knight" automatically, you tell them that if you come to Marconetti and make yourself known to him, he'll bump you to the front for consideration. You still turn down any potential ultra-scumbags that show up who happen to have one, but the real important thing is that it opens up the option to get Sealed Kings in the door.
>>29988283Kiss here
>>29988469He'd just think we're doing it to spite him.
I don't know where we're going with this plotline, but we missed a really exciting jumping off point. The most exciting thing to happen this entire quest was the arranged marriage news.Say Celestino hadn't changed his mind. We would have had a great little excuse to run away with our perfect adventuring party. We'd be pursued by agents of several nations, dodging assassins, a spurned groom with a sealed king, and perhaps even some old friends (Gregory, Arnaud) who thought we were kidnapping these royal ladies. Perhaps accidentally sparking a war between the two once friendly nations. Not to mention the romantic rivalries coming to a head as some of our friends question why they suffer so much to help Lucy when she's just another competitor foe Reinholds dick. The only reason it wouldn't have worked is that it wouldn't make sense to take Marianne along. She has little combat efficacy, and she's safer at home with a replacement bodyguard than on the road with us.But I guess we are stuck with petty court politics and slice of life waifu wars.
>>29988486Not in the corridor you numbnuts. That's the sort of thing that gets us hanged. We only do it in absolute private.

>>29988505Luci wasn't willing to leave her dad just over this because of what happened with Giancarlo.
>>29988529The one who ran away was Pellegrino.Giancarlo is happily married to a lady who we're pretty sure is nearly as huge a pervert as he is.
>>29988505Actually, the girls themselves considered it as a very last resort, but we decided to get Gregory and Theirri to deal with it - and even then, they were pretty relieved when it all worked out. They didn't WANT to have to do that.It would have been cool, but I don't think it would have been the best solution - Arch even said we had the best possible outcome. Also>Gregory and/or Arnaud thinking we kidnapped a princess and went rogue>Reinhold not being ketchup within the week

>>29989076No, we did not. The idea was put forward but was shot down.
>>29989052It was only really taboo because of the implications a 'sketch' has versus a painting or whatnot. Portraits are done all the time, I'd imagine, and are fully clothed. When an artist sketches people, however, it's often for figure studies and the like, which are often done nude. You'll recall that Marius went to a brothel to find a model, which is where he ended up meeting Citrine....and we haven't really gotten any exposition into the potential of a lewd art underground, so we're pretty much in the dark on that front.

"Going to formally propose already?""Wha- NO, that's not what I... anyways, I was just going to ask if it would be okay if I sketched a picture of you before I head back to Granache."Staring at you as if you'd just gone mad, Luciana stops dead in her tracks. Crap, you forgot that sketching usually implies nudity..."I didn't mean anything lewd by it," you say. "Just a normal drawing of you, fully-""Oh, I was just messing with you," Luiciana replies, laughing. "Marianne's mentioned your hobby and the misunderstandings that it causes several times in her letters, so I know full well what you meant.""Oh, good," you say, breathing a sigh of relief."And I think that's a lovely idea, I'd be more than happy to model for you.""Really? Thanks!""Just imagine... lovers, separated by distance... the only memento you have to remember my face by is a picture that you sketched yourself... how romantic!" she giggles."But in all seriousness, I think that would be a wonderful idea," Luciana says, smiling at you. "I suppose you'd like to do that sooner rather than later, yes?""If it's okay with you," you reply."Hmm... then how about while we're waiting for the servants to bring us breakfast?""Sounds good to me."And just as that matter is settled, the two of you make it back to your suite.>[1/2]

This is going to be awkward enough as it is, you might as well learn what you're getting yourself into when it comes to being in a relationship with a Princess from another country."So I was wondering," you begin, "how exactly is, uh... 'courting?' Is that what it's called? How's that supposed to work between us?""Wow, you really -are- serious about this," Marianne replies."I would certainly hope so," Luciana says, crossing her arms. When the choices in the matter are "get serious" and "risk being executed," of course you'd pick the former."Well, it's not like how it is with commoners where you can fool around before marriage or anything," Marianne says. "not that you'd do such a thing."Yeah, you're definitely not ready for anything approaching... that."I suppose the first step for you would be to express your interest in courting Luciana to her parents," Marianne says. "And I'm sure that both of them are fully aware of that, considering the obvious attraction between you two.""Yes, Mother's made comments about that," Luciana sighs. "But you'd still have to get Father's approval if we're to go much further than the handholding stage..." she says as she entwines her fingers in yours. No shame. Nope, none. Doing this stuff right in front of Marianne.>[1/?]
>>29989503>Humans developed bigger busts than most apes because the evolutionary advantage that was walking upright led to the side effect of the species not longer being able to easily choose a mate by examination of a partner's posterior, just like baboons do in modern times. "Even though you're not planning on marriage for the foreseeable future, you still need to make it known that it's a desired outcome -at some point-," she says. "And especially to Luciana's father, courting without the intent to marry would just be seen as a waste of everyone's time.""So I'm trapped then," you mumble."Not quite," Marianne shrugs. "As long as you keep that option open, I doubt that he'd care much... assuming that he accepts you as a potential suitor at all, I mean. Luciana's his favorite daughter and I'm rather certain that he'd like to keep her around for as long as he can before he's forced to give her up for marriage.""So you'd be basically... a preferred suitor!" Luciana says. "MY preferred suitor, anyways... as long as you're around and expressing interest in me, Father would be free to vet you as a possible fiance for me when the time's right!"So you have to ask Celestino for permission to maybe be her boyfriend so that you can... ugh, this is confusing.>[2/?]

>>29991083Lets finish this breakfast and after that."Sorry about shouting like that before. I guess it is time i explain to you why i am kind of jumpy in those kind of situations."
>>29991083Give them time alone, then:a.) inform nico of the newsb.) drama with sylvie
>>29991083So... should we give Luci the scoop on our backstory now? Probably want to get that all out in the open sooner rather than later, and Marie already knows so we can talk about it in front of her.
>>29990697There are, right archelon? I mean, thats the only reason you could have living Contractors.
>>29991083>Celestino has badass envy
>>29991083I really can't blame him with this tension for a war to break out, I'm sure that decision of marrying you off pained him more than we think.maybe.
>>29991083ask lucy if she can feed you.
>>29991167>>29991154yes. finish breakfast and open ourselves to luci.
>>29991083"Well, I'd give Takamaru pretty good odds against Monique if both of them were using magic. Probably a better swordsman as well, though it's close on that count. Are you going to be able to visit Granache regularly? I'd like to see you sometimes instead of relying on letters and memories."We're still eating breakfast, so don't bring up our backstory right yet, wait until we're not eating and all that. But tell her soon, as in after breakfast and before we do much of anything else.
>>29991168Yes, there are plenty. The only ones who got turned into swords were the most famous ones at the time.Elemental spirits come into being pretty much through spontaneous generation, so it's literally impossible to get rid of all of them.
>>29991210Not that guy, but do specific Elementals die when killed, or do they just pop up somewhere else? Or does it vary depending on their power-level or age, or whatever?
>>29991168Either way, Contractors still retain the power granted to them after their patron's death.> What happens to contractors whose elemental spirit that they contracted to dies?> Nothing. They're still bound to whatever their contract happened to be (if its conditions were lasting, anyways), and they keep the power they obtained.
>>29991210>so it's literally impossible to get rid of all of them.is it now? i was thinking of starting a purge.
>>29991197hey now don't turn this quest to a full on smut.
So wheres taka?
>>29991232They die if they're killed, the same as anything else.Mind, it's extremely hard to do so, and most will try and run away if they feel that their life is in actual danger.
Rolled 3>>29991277Do people believe in afterlife or reincarnation/
So, how pissed will Monique be when he finds out that Reinhold prevented his betrothal to Luci?
>>29991260writing to his hot wife and hotter daughter i assume.
>>29991245he honestly looks a lot better with the moustache.
>>29991287probably relieved because Gregory won't have a reason to murder him.
>>29991287He need never know.
>>29991287He will never know.
>>29991287he didn't even know about the betrothal
>>29991277So individuals elementals can be killed (although not without incredible difficulty), but more elementals will just *happen* all the time anyways? Is there some sort of natural population check in place, or do they even need one? I'm sorry to keep throwing questions at you, I just like the setting
>>29991287https://archive.foolz.us/tg/thread/29889712/#29895725
>>29991287I doubt anyone is going to tell him.Nobody in our group will at least.
>>29991287I don't think he'll care much.If there's one thing he might be upset about, it's Reinhold meddling in his personal life, but to even arrive at such conclusion you would have to do admirable amount of mental gymnastics considering how it's all about Celestino and his usage of his children as tools. In fact, if he reflected on the matter, he might (begudgingly or not) even admire Reinhold to oppose those plans.
You an pretty cool bro OP.
>>29991334Don't bet against Celestine or one of Lucianna's half-sisters.
>>29991285As the existence of the soul is a confirmed thing, yes. As to what happens to said soul after the body dies, that is unknkown.>>29991294Takamaru is illiterate.>>29991327They're formed by and live off of the ambient magical energy given off by the land. As such, the presence of one in an area makes it less likely that others will appear, and there's also a general population limit that can be reached once the ambient energy they need in order to exist is exceeded by the number of elemental spirits in existence. This limit will never be reached, though.
>>29991356On the other hand, Monique has shown a remarkable capacity to do Olympic-level mental gymnastics in order to paint Reinhold as the ultimate evil in his life.
With your unpleasant news out of the way, you focus your attention on your breakfast. After all, you want to eat these waffles before they get cold! The fact that you didn't get to eat very much also factors into your current hungry state, and you end up CONSUMING your food in record time... though Marianne doesn't seem to be all that pleased with your amazing speed-eating skills. And as for Luciana, she's too busy focusing on her own breakfast to watch you eat.Great, you didn't need her making any jokes about you eating h- DAMMIT SHE'S STARTING TO RUB OFF ON YOU.Once everyone's done eating, you slide your plates out of the way so that Marianne can read in peace...>time to spill the beans about your sordid past>time to tell Nicolette about Monique's new position>time to do something else
>>29991416>time to tell Nicolette about Monique's new positionWe'll tell Luciana alone, later
>>29991416>time to spill the beansHow much does Marianne know? Everything?
>>29991416>>time to tell Nicolette about Monique's new position
>>29991379Yes, I suppose that might cause issues. Depends if he considers opportunity to marry a princess against her will (and with an implied coerced consent) to be as important to him as his grandfather's sword.I don't expect him to flip, but I suppose it's a possibility.
>>29991416>time to spill the beans about your sordid pastGet it out of the way so we don't have to deal with it later.
>>29991430This.
>>29991416>>time to spill the beans about your sordid pastLets get it out of the way, that way we can avoid more awkwardness later. Also we're leaving soon and I'd prefer to do it in person.
>>29991446>>29991437>>29991433>not talking to her privatelyEven if Marie knows, she doesn't need to be here to watch this, again.Cmon now guys
>>29991416>Exscuse ourselves while we go have a talk with Sylvie, and maybe Nicolette.
>>29991416>time to tell Nicolette about Monique's new positionNo need to tell that story this frigging early in the morning
>>29991433Basically. All the important bits at least.
>>29991416>time to tell Nicolette about Monique's new positionThen we go to Sylvie.
>>29991374Thanks for the infodumping. You an cool turtle.>>29991416Might as well spill the beans - give her a proper explanation for our outburst and general spaghetti, not just Marianne's warning - we can tell Nicolette later, if her father doesn't first.
>>29991416>time to tell Nicolette about Monique's new position"guess what? monique beat us both, but him having to pull a sealed king out of his butt disqualifies him, i bet"
>>29991416>>29991430This
>>29991416>Nico
>>29991416>time to spill the beans. It's only fair she knows why we are so...fragile...if it doesn't drive her off.
>>29991416Reinhold... you're supposed to enjoy that. She's going to be your wife, you know.Anyway, hm. What do? Ask the girls what they want to be doing I guess.Guess we could try and find someone to spar with. Practice swords of course, no risking lady Agnes's blade.
>>29991416SPILL THE BEANS GOD DAMN IT!I just finished my third double shift in three days, and I go back in in six hours. I need sleep , but can't get off Mr. Reinhold's exciting ride.
>>29991416>time to tell Nicolette about Monique's new positionWe're NOT talking about Spinelle and our past with Marianne too, we can tell her later in Granache, but definately tell Luciana in private. Also, might be nice to talk to Sylvie afterwards to get it out of the way.
>>29991416>time to spill the beans about your sordid past. Was wondering when we would do this.
>>29991416>time to spill the beans about your sordid pastNo reason to waffle around, especially after we were all weird just now.>>29991491Marianne already knows.
>>29991416>time to spill the beans about your sordid pastHold Luciana's hand. Tell her that there's something we'd like to tell her in private, invite her to our room which is nearby, sit down, and talk to her. Sure Marianne knows, but at least get some privacy. "Luciana, there's some things about me and my past that you deserve to know, I'm pretty sure you've already worked out some of it and you know this isn't going to be a happy story. It's not really a secret, it's just not something that comes up in normal conversation, and I don't want anyone to pity me.I never knew my parents."And go on from there, try to keep it matter of fact and to the point, don't go into too much detail for the unpleasant parts, tell her about Spinelle as well.
>>29991452She doesn't know the details though, just the general idea. If we do it now we won't have to do it twice.
>>29991507She doesn't know about Spinelle yet
We do one, privately, then the other?Good compromise? Because both need to be done.
>>29991416>time to spill the beans about your sordid past
>>29991416Why not tell the girls that we want to tell them about our past but aren't sure when would be a good time since, y'know it ain't the happiest?
>>29991416>time to tell Nicolette about Monique's new position
>>29991416>time to spill the beans about your sordid pastPrivately if possible, our room is close by and I don't think Marianne is the type to eavesdrop on us.
>>29991416>time to tell Nicolette about Monique's new positionGuys don't be a dick.
>>29991517She heard spinelle's name when we were plastered to the wall. She has intuited.
>>29991511This sounds good.>>29991416Changing my vote from:>>29991456to:>>29991511
Oh yeah, stories of getting raised in a brothel and raped by a whore make perfect post-breakfast conversation pieces
>>29991416Okay since everyone goes for it:>explain what happened>explain that's why Rein has a hard time dealing with sexual things>tell her he's going to overcome it for her
>>29991416>time to spill the beans about your sordid pastWe can always go next door to our own room for privacy if people are actually that worried about telling Marie things she already knows or could have easily inferred.
And that's it for this thread, guys.It was fun, and I hope to get to more imteresting stuff tomorrow. The next thread will be Monday night, barring homework, and I'll try to start earlier than I did this time (also depends on homework). As always, thanks for playing! To bother me on Twitter:https://twitter.com/QM_Archelon

>>29991577Ah, i was hoping we would get the talk out of the way before the thread ends.Well, thanks fo running. Sleep well.
>>29991577cheers op, you a good one.
Night Arch.I know there is some arguing, but much like the Sylvie conversation the truth coming to Luci is something that really should be tended to before the afternoon announcement, same with Letting Sylvie down. This will be an emotional morning, and Celestino is probably going to put Reinhold on the spot.
